 | The Three Safe Areas are arranged in a triangle within Nazogakure, while the inside of these safe areas do not change their positions within the labyrinth do alter due to the shifting and moving of the various mazes connecting and surrounding them. Safe Area A is the largest and contains both the residential and office districts containing the homes of the majority of the populace, the Academy and the Kage Mansion. It is likewise considered to be the most secure despite it's size as it contains the bases for both the Military Police Department as well as the Medical Department.

Safe Area B is in-between Safe Areas A & C in size and contains the financial district which is where the shops, forges and the stadiums for exams are. It is the busiest section of the village yet outside of the safe area no noise can be heard coming from it within the surrounding maze truly a marvel of architecture. A Temple to Kikuri in addition to the base for the Support and Logistical Department can be found here as well.

Safe Area C is the smallest and contains the Prison. It is the most remote of the three and is also where the Torture & Interrogation Department is based in making it the least visited of the three safe areas.

LexxiLove | | Each of the Safe Areas have walls of mazes which change independently of the labyrinth which surrounds the village, the purpose of this is to serve as training grounds for shinobi and as an additional security measure to prevent invasions. The Mazes vary in difficulty which cause them to be used as training grounds by different types of shinobi, the easiest being the one around Safe Area A, Safe Area B's being of moderate difficulty while Safe Area C's is the most complex. They also differ in size which when compared to the various safe areas cause each of the three to take up the same amount of space within the Labyrinth.
