Zane would do as instructed, he was a guest and this wasn't the time nor the place to cause trouble. He'd leave the hood of the cloak up until he was safely escorted within the walls of the Shinto compound. The Shinto may have promised him safe passage but that didn't mean the entire village felt the same way about a Missing-Nin wandering within their limits. Zane would stare at the two guards, offering a polite smile, Thank you, that's very nice of you. I don't know if it's a welcome back though, this is my first time here. He stared at the guards, all pleasantries and the shining example of someone who meant no harm. The compound beyond seemed to stretch quite aways and the buildings looked pristine yet well lived in...homey would be the word Zane thought of, a word he had never actually experienced. Turning his attention back to the two guards, You two were born here? Have you been in the village all of your lives or have you actually seen the world above ground? He was genuinely curious, after all Zane never knew the life of belonging to a clan. He had been alone for as long as he could remember so this idea of living together as a family or a large group was foreign to him.
