This, my friend, is a story of a being mere human who sold their soul for the sole reason of protecting her child; this story involves one of the sacrifices any mother is willing to make to protect her daughter; hers being the ultimate sacrifice one could do for someone. This story Begins 27 years before the birth of Ahmya Shinto, We will follow story of Nyx Shinto and how she meet her beloved Aiku Stamatis.

27 years ago.

Nyx Shinto was born into a clan who give their bodies to insects so that the insect could safely multiple in exchange for following the commands of whomever their host is, luckily for nyx she was blessed with the ninhachi insects, the bee like insect, the bugs treated her as a queen as she quickly learned to use her them; determined to be a plain ninja faith pulled her into another, causing her to focus on the sword instead of being a regular ninja. At the age of five nyx had began to study in the art of kenjutsu, mastering the basics of her style by the age of seven.

There is one particle day she remembers precisely, She woke up to the beaming light of the yellow ball of energy, Shine in her eyes from behind the white curtain which had been replaced by one of parents during her sleep to make sure she woke up. This particle time in the morning wasn’t exactly her favorite she had memories of never really having adment control of how she got out of the bed in the morning naturally she would end up on her face against the wooden flooring of her room, but that day was special as she was able to summon her ninhachi at the last moment to catch her from her epic fail of the morning. This shock was more than enough to wake her up and realize that it was going to be a good day even though she had woken up that early, she quickly rushed to her feet then darted to the bathroom, despite being up early she never beat her older brothers or her cousin who was staying with them due to both of her parents dying on a mission, sadly no one ever mentioned the fact that her parents died; they always announced it as her parent were out of on a mission, truthfully nyx assumed that she already knew despite everyone’s attempt to hide it from her cousin. Nyx arrived at the bathroom luckily for her she had beaten her older brother and her cousin to the bathroom, despite how quiet the house was she could hear the trumpets of victory in her ears. “Dynamic Entry” her brother yelled as he tried to imitate a true taijutsu move, he did it well camouflaging his beetles in the energy he created around his foot that was aimed at Nyx. “Are you stupid or dumb?” She questioned as she used her bees to assist her in catching his foot in her hand, she then slide her elbow into his chest before throwing the both of them onto the floor; her cousin slid in front the other hallway with her head nose a few inches from the floor. “I Swear there is no one in this house sane.” She mumbled before using her foot to counter her cousin fail of an attack, she then jumped up from the floor and went into the bathroom, locking the door behind her. “Idiots” she claimed as she slowly made her way into the tub of hot water which was freshly prepared by her parents for the winner of that little spar, to her parents it was an amusing way of seeing which of them had what it took to take over the household; as out of her parents 7 kids and 1 cousin, they were only allowing the best four to go into the academy and so far there only two had passed and two had failed their test. The number were pretty even so far and luckily for them, their older sister had opted out of the competition saying she would prefer to become a blacksmith or a tamer, something that would bring her and her siblings to hate each other as they were the only family she would ever have, it was something commendable her sister did but it wasn’t enough to sway her emotions about seeing the world for what it truly was, since there hasn’t really been anybody who were able to actually see the world and return alive.

Nyx sighed, slowly getting out of the relaxing warmth of the tube, Despite the fact they were in constant competition she still deeply care about what happened to the other two since one shared her blood while surprisingly the other also shared flesh with her. She chuckled slightly as she realized she forgot her clothes to change into, she smoothly walked over to the towel rack to grab and wrap her towel around herself. Hopefully her brother was still out of breath but that in itself would be a far reach as that would mean he would've been there for nearly 15 minutes, she slowly opened the door surprisingly the idiot stopped playing. ‘Great’ She thought to herself before stepping out of the bathroom “Reverse Dragon High Kick” he yelled out as he popped into the corner of her eye, it seemed way to simple of a kick which had a great deal of force behind it; it was only the type of kick an idiot can perform wholeheartedly without thinking of the repercussion of missing or the opponent having excellent reaction, She simply leaned her head out of the way to dodge the kick which was honestly performed by an idiot; yet to her surprise the kick only gathered force by raising into the air before using both the momentum and new force to slam into the her knee, yet due to his distance he completely missed the knee and caught her towel and pulled it away from. “You’ve proved worthy for death, congratulations you will die now.” she yelled to her older brother who had took the initiative to run away with her towel, for an older brother he was kind of a child but most could blame it on the fact that she started to mature at an earlier point then he did. Surprisingly she chased him into the living room where her older sister sat and wait for, sryx, got up from her seat to take the towel away from her brother and hand it to nyx “go get dressed, we have work to do.” she ordered and nyx did just that after receiving the towel from her sister, it wasn’t a regular thing fo her sister to be waiting on her and much less to be at the house since she had been kicked out when she decided to become a tamer.

It took nyx a few minutes to get dressed but when she finally came out she was were a blue shorts that revealed her thighs down to her legs and a tight black shirt which had the sleeves ripped off from one of the fights with her siblings, She simply waved goodbye to her mom and dad as she left off on her adventure with her sister who knew what she came for. “Sryx, why did you come to the house all of a sudden?” she questioned once they finally reached outside the walls of the house, nyx eyes pierced onto Sryx as she waited for an answer while they walked. It seemed like hours had flown by until they finally came to a secluded stop, the place was empty beside the few weapons and the kunchuu, Nyx seeing the kunchuu would run to go hug it, it’d been so long since Nyx’s sister had rescued the kunchuu from the cave it was trapped in; since then the kunchuu would often follow her around like a lost puppy. “Well enough, goofing off their are only two more slot left for the three of y’all to become a ninja and honestly our brother isn’t suited for that line of work; I’d prefer if you took it, Please accept myself request to protect our brother?” She asked.

Of course the request was indeed self but it’s not like she hadn’t already planned to have him join the academy, Nyx laughed and scratched her head a bit “so the reason you came is to train me, well I have no admiration to become a ninja; unless you could make it worth my wild.” She lied, she just wanted to see what exactly she could get out of her sister for such a job. Sryx looked over to Nyx not only to see her playful smile but also the greed in her eyes “you could have him, so long as he wants to go with you.” Sryx stated which cause Nyx to jump up and down with joy then come back to a relaxed stance. She hand on top of the kunchuu’s head then have the little guy a few rubs on the head, before looking to her sister as she stabbed wooden swords into the ground, to Nyx it was time to get serious or else it’d be over before long. Sryx finally held one of the wooden swords in her hand after surrounding the area with them, Nyx could only reply by calling out 100 beetles. Sryx smiles a bit before glancing over to the kunchuu which spit out a few pebbles at Her beetles, quickly killing half of them, Nyx decide to grab one of the wooden sword since it wouldn’t be easy fighting without a form of kenjutsu. Nyx would dash at her sister only to be counter with a thrust into her Stomach, this would make her gasp for breath knowing very well that it meant she was fucked if that had been a real sword, yet her sister only gave her a mere moment to catch her breathe before repeating to slaughter her with basic strikes aimed for her head. The strikes all came with a different pace all to no end, but the amount of strike she was using was working against her, well that’s at least what Nyx thought. Sryx had slowly tried to gather information on the pattern her sister, Nyx, was using yet it slowly began to come to her: slash towards the head, thrust to the left shoulder, feint right waist instead slash upward to shoulder blade; these bombardment of attacks were starting to be seen by Sryx, she planned to wait for the feint to decide to attack. The first three were easily dodged by gathering space between them, then she countered her sister by spinning on the tip of her heel before sending her wooden sword into the hip of her sister which was followed by some speed, or at least she would of planned to if the kunchuu she wanted so bad hadn’t countered with a rock thick web to block the attack. Sadly she had realized that this was never a one on one, instead it was a battle for survival, this is the same atmosphere that the fight for the academy would have; it be either them or her and from the recent events today it seemed that they planned to take her out of the fight. She glared at her sister before ducking her first strike she’d headbutt her sister in the chin then kick her in her chest, then it started to hit her the combination these two had been using matched the flow the that her cousin and her brother were using. it was obvious to her now that they were trying to elimate her from the competiton together, the irony of trying to protect someone whose only goal was to hurt you but there must've been another route.

She stood ackwardly staring at her sister with her pupil focused farther passed her, what exactly was the meaning of this training, in terms of strength she could easily take down her competitors one on one but if they had decided to face her together she would be in a disadvantageous position; sryx must've seen through the plan they had to work together to elimate her, but it was too obvious for nyx not to realize herself.
