Republic Academy - Inaugural Class

After the horrible events of the previous week, it was important to get things to some degree of normalcy and more importantly ensure the newly created Jinchuriki were able to properly interact with their peers and develop social skills. To that end, one of the priorities of the Republic was to construct a new academy which would be not only be secure but likewise away from the academies of the Five villages so that those who were educated here would be more loyal to the the republic as a whole rather than particular villages. To that end it was constructed near the border of Graves, Paradox and Malice in the very heart of the Republic. It was a massive academy with the idea being to send the best and the brightest of those from the various academies to educate them at a more accelerated pace before reintroducing them the other forces.

Those academy students who were attending the academy would be able to choose where they would go after graduation, with the only exceptions of course being the Five Jinchuriki as each of them would be send the Hidden Villages which sealed them in the first place. Not only would this allow the future elites of the Republic of Five to have exposure to the Jinchuriki it would allow them to have bonds with them, and more importantly see their development if they were needed to counteract a rampage in the future. Of course not anyone could teach within this academy with the Republic Council or rather what was left of it after the attacks coming together and pulling full-time ANBU into a long term teaching post.

ANBU Gecko, no that wasn't his name anymore not since he got his reassignment he now went by Orenji, Orenji. He like other members of the Republic Academy staff had decided to take on colors as names, and had changed their appearance to match that theme. This would make them easily recognizable by the children, and perhaps easier to like as many children had a favorite color. He was currently waiting for all the children in his class to arrive while his assistant academy instructor Kuro was sitting in a partially tilted back chair on the other side of the room. On the chalkboard behind him were simple instructions "Please pick a seat and wait for the rest of the class to enter, if you wish to chat please do so quietly.". In total there were fifty chairs, or as Orenji mused to himself, 9 potential elites and 1 jinchuriki from each of the Five Hidden Villages. "Or 5 potential threats, and forty-five potential victims. Sigh, I don't get paid enough to deal with this shit, maybe I should of been a much less competent  shinobi then I could still be with the rest of my platoon." he thought to himself letting out a sigh as the doors opened and the first bunch of children arrived.

Information:

The silent samurai by circumstances, Demoto took the 1st seat since he was one of the first to arrive on time. He was also one of the first of the Bijuu holder to be present within the lass, assuming that there was going to be a lot of other students there and etc. At the very least, Demoto didn't want them to be afraid of him, he was hoping that he would be able to make quite a bit of friend today. But there was one problem, he couldn't talk!

For now, the most that Demoto did was silently make his way to the desk and placed his wooden bokken to the side.

School, it never seemed to end and with everything going on in the republic Alan actually welcomed it. He was told by his instructor that there had been a new school built. It didn't seem like much but there were murmurs they were looking to make a point that the republic was above all.

Over looking the building Alan only had one thought, where were the other villages while Hakagakure burned.

For the most part he was having wavering thoughts on continuing his Shinobi path in regards to the norm the young lad had almost fled the village amidst the chaos created by the attack. Nevertheless here he was marching through the halls his head held high looking for a classroom with a teacher by the name of Orenji.

A weird enough name and hopefully not a weird teacher Alan would push the doors open and look around he was the second student here but the other had taken the fourth seat so he would take the first seat and look around at the number of chairs, this was going to be a large class. He would pull out his notepads and ready his desk if there was one thing he was good at it was classes, he would finally be able to get his mind of the entire ordeal.

What was the point of all this? Maximillian thought to himself as he entered the room and took his seat. It was laughable for them to think that it would be remotely possible for him to live a normal life after what they had forced upon him. He was already a wreck with his dreams constantly plagued by nightmares and when he was actually conscious he was experiencing every negative emotion under the sun and then there was that voice constantly egging him to take his own life. No one in their right mind would want to be around someone like him and in truth, he doesn’t blame them. Wiping the tears from his cheek, he would pull his hoodie over his head as he leaned back in the chair that had the number five on it before looking to his left at the person sitting beside him. He wasn’t sure of it since he didn’t have a sure proof way of telling but he felt different from the other plebs that were in the room. Did they share the same curse? He did overhear the ANBU that were keeping an eye on him talk about four more people like him and he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t interested in learning more about the others so maybe there was a point after all?

Clearly she could hear the desire for attention from those who’d died in this area from attack of the bijuu, her eyes skimmed over their spirits none having anything that made them special enough for join her in complete domination for datara. She dragged her leg across to the next tile, despite seeming crazy to those around her anybody who could see the spirits would watch as many of them gripped onto her ankle and laid on the ground. Certainly it was quite a pickle to be in outside of academy building this early in the morning, however she continued on ignore the spirits who definitely wasn’t anything more than civilian in their time.

After all the time spent dragging along the spirits they’d finally given up on her and decided to leave her alone, well for now at least, looking into her classroom she could definitely see that a dilemma that was body to Take place. Suddenly she shivered, it was odd and quite simulating, completely different from how she felt whenever their was a spirit lurking around her; the source of it, well she couldn’t quite put her finger on it just yet but she would eventually. She moved towards the third row, Middle seat, each step was swift and stiff hoping that nobody knew the change her body had made due to receiving the blessing. She slightly tugged on her dress before sitting down and placing her hand on top of her thighs.

The academy started, the perfect place for Ratomi to show how great he was to his peers. He had a different about being in the same class with the other users of the bijuu, he believed them to all be chosen one of varying degree and skills. So when he entered, unlike everyone else, he had a lot to say. "Welcome! Chosen ones!!! You know who you are, hahaha. I'll be taking the middle seat, I'd rather be surrounded by greatness than be out of place."

It was a mixture of being complimentary and arrogant, but it was simply the way that he talked as RAtomi took the seat right in the middle of the class.

Shou looked across the room quickly, his eyes narrowed nearly to slits. He was looking for empty seats, or at least a seat next to someone else who looked friendly. His eyes landed on a boy with red hair and dark eye markings, a wave of curiosity sweeping over him. His legs carried him to his seat fast, moving like a blur of white cloth and silver hair as the oversized sleeves of his kimono flapped at his side. He took the seat next to the red haired boy, though looked forwards towards the head of the class so as to not appear to be too interested in his fellow classmate. When Ratomi made his exclamation, he chuckled softly "Loud but interesting..." His smile remained fixed firmly in place as he thought to himself "Our academy years definitely won't be boring, at least."

More academy students would stream in gradually filling up all of the seats in the room while Orenji would take note of all of the Jinchuriki and where they were currently seated, sure they were closer together than he'd like but what could one do. "Alright. So we can speed through introductions and what not, I'm Orenji I'll be the Chunin Instructor in charge of your homeroom which is this class. I'll be teaching general education, history, and will be in charge of most things pertaining to you during your time at the academy. Behind you is my assistant, Kuro who will be in charge of your elemental training which covers your chakra affinities as well as teaching you how to properly perform each of the hand seals required for techniques. He will also assist me in keeping an eye on all of you while I bore you to death with my lectures. Haha... I'm just kidding after all the History of the Republic of Five is really interesting." he said with a bright smile full of enthusiasm to teach the new generation.

Meanwhile Kuro would move from table to table passing out sheets of paper and pencils for people to fill them out. [b]"Please fill out a sheet while we go through introductions." he said his voice rather placid in comparison to Orenji's upbeat tone. Each of the sheets contained a somewhat comprehensive listing with space for a hand print which upon doing so would cause the page to fill with various things. Most importantly due to the seals placed on it, it would drain a minute amount of their chakra, blood, stamina and any other limits to make an accurate reading of their statistics. It would also give additional data for their instructors to make use of to give them more guided instruction.

Orenji would then make a gesture and nine additional individuals would body flicker into the room each of them appearing to match a specific color just like how Orenji and Kuro matched orange and black respectively. "These are also Chunin Instructors however unlike Kuro and I they are more specialized. Aka will handle Assault Training which is split into Combat and Demolitions, he'll also be in charge of conducting spars between one another. Kiiro will handle Counter-Assault which is split into Guerilla and Ranged, she'll also will get you familiar in the use of various weaponry such as kunai and shuriken. Midori will be handling Support which is split into Medical and Enfeebling, she'll likewise be who you go to if you get seriously hurt as while all of us are capable of some medical aid, she's the best at it. Ao will be handling Stealth which is split into Infiltration and Assassination's he also covers the Interrogation Club, which is one of the optional clubs you can join within the academy. Chairo covers Training, he'll be primarily in charge of your physical conditioning in addition to teaching you how to train your pets, familiars and summons, if you have a summoning contract. Pinku is in charge of Recon which is split up into Sensory and Communications, she also heads the Luck Club. Shiro handles Extraction, which is split into Tracking and Tactics, he also heads the Enlightenment Club. Gin and Kin jointly cover Sealing, with it being split into Field and Trap, they also are the heads of the Character Club and are who you go to if you want to request a mission. There is one other Chunin Instructor named Murasaki, who is in charge of Discipline, if any of you step out of line he'll be the one to put you in your place, no exceptions." Orenji said with each of them raising their hands when they were called before body flickering away after he finished introducing all of them.

"When you are done with your sign up sheet, please raise you hand so I can collect them and we can start with student introductions." Kuro said and sure enough a good portion of the students would would begin filling out their sheets.

Shou straightened up and listened intently to Orenji's words and his introductions, as well as their orders on what they were meant to do with the paper. Shou had shown particular interest in Aka, Midori and Ao when they were introduced, their skillsets piquing some interest in him as they were explained. He placed his hand on the paper, feeling himself sag a little as something was seemingly drained from his body. It was only a short moment, but he felt it, then watched as the paper filled itself out with some information that Shou wasn't completely sure about. He raised his eyebrows a bit, and he was sure if they were open his eyes would've widened, but he went about filling in the things on the paper that were still left blank. Once he was done filling out the paper, he raised his hand quietly and waited for one of their instructors to collect it.

Shou's Sheet:

Maximillian was lost in his own thoughts not paying attention to what anyone was saying until one of the instructors approached him with a piece of paper. Taking the paper from the person he would quickly read over the information before letting out a sigh. He really didn’t want to be a part of whatever this was but he knew the moment he left the ANBU members that were practically keeping him, hostage, prior to this would coverage on him immediately and force him back into the academy so he had no choice but to comply with them until he got stronger, however, then no one would be able to stop him. With that said he would start filling out the paper as best as possible.

her focused shifted from looking at the spirits inside the classroom to the instructor as he started speaking, her eyes closed and shifted to another direction as he brought up boring them to death "so is he the kyubbi, that I heard so much about"? she questioned herself, unsure if such a question was meant to be asked in front of the other students. The other instructor seemed to handing out a piece of paper, her eyes shifted through the paper accessing the information that they were trying to collect. "Nothing more than the basics, I guess." she thought to herself however her attention would shift once more as he briefed over Ao specifications, Stealth was definitely something that would fit her bijuu perfectly. There was definitely a jinchuriki that also would fit perfectly in this specialization, however she wasn't to sure of their name much less what they wanted to do.

The rites had taken too long this morning, a lot of quite bad omens surrounded him and that meant he had to make additional offerings to clear the air. Due to this Hanzo entered the room quite quietly and gave a bow to the instructors, mouthing sorry to them before turning to look for a seat. At first he moved towards the back at least until he noticed that they were numbered fours, causing him to immediately stop and instead take an open seat closer to the front. There had been enough bad omens today, he didn't need to add unlucky numbers to the pot. He took seat twenty seven and got himself situated before the papers were handed out.

Once he had filled it out he spent some time looking around, taking in the others in the class. He knew there were some high profile people here, his father had even whispered that this is where the vessels of the Great Beasts were and that thought was slightly worrying, it would also explain some of the omens however. He'd need to be on guard. The instructors seemed interesting at least and he made sure to take particular note of Midori, Aka and Shiro, he'd spoken to his father about where he wanted to go and these were the people that could train him in what he wanted.

Information:

Eostre knew to an outsider it probably looked strange, a Faunus like her walking in to a class room with a gnarled wooden staff, curled and tangled in on itself making it more sturdy. But she was aware enough it wouldn't really fit around the seats, and without even thinking how unusual it might've been, she set it down leaning in to the corner of the room. The fur on the back of her neck stood on end looking over everybody who had come in so far, and the seats. The 'unseen dangers' were lost on Eostre. Nobody looked especially dangerous. They just looked normal. So without a worry she took a seat by the window, the closest to natural light that just felt nice on her skin, giving out smiles to every person she met eye contact with. Even the ones that prickled the back of her neck. Though she didn't count the five that caused that effect as anything more than first day nerves.

The first challenge though! The sheets. Eostre could write. Of course she could! ... A little. It was rough though. And in incorrect manner. Blocky and shaky. But she'd been practising. She was getting better. That's why she was here. To get better. Once she pricked her finger, as she saw many others do, she marveled seeing that information she has never thought of appear before her. And with nearly literal stars of excitement in her eyes her hand shot up to signal she was done.

Sheet:

Relazar had arrived late to the orientation of the republics academy, and came in just as the sheets were being handed out to the rest of the students. "I'm sorry for being tardy, it took a while for me to get through the village gates this morning. I promise that It won't happen again" The young Jiko would say to the instructor with a bow before starting to make his way towards an empty seat in the classroom. After he got himself situated in his place the Jiko would look over the sheet that had been passed out, taking into consideration about the information that was verbally given out, he would look around and notice everyone diligently doing there work. Relazar would take a few minutes to think carefully about what it was that he wanted to focus on while attending the academy before finally writing down the things specified below. AFter finishing writing things down on his sheet he would flip the sheet over and raise his hand to specify that he was done.

Amara was late, as per usual. She ran through the academy halls, a book clutched tightly to her chest as she read out the room numbers to herself. 102...104... How was she late, again? Her father had spoken to her about this numerous times and she had promised to do better, to pay more attention to the time. The library though, there was just so much information there, so much to consume. It was so easy to get lost in the older texts and- No, focus. She mumbled to herself as she found the classroom number the kunoichi at the front of desk had told her. Stepping inside, she tried to suppress the blood rushing to her cheeks, blazing with red hot embarrassment.

Looking at the two standing in the front of the room, she made her way over to them, assuming they were the instructors for today, I am so sorry for my tardiness senseis, a small emergency matter came up. It will not happen again. She bowed as she lied before taking the paper and pencil from Kuro. That one has a good strangling neck! Terrence declared as Amara stepped away from the two chunin to find a seat, Oh hush, you. She mumbled to herself, not in the mood for Terrence today. Searching the rows of strangers, she settled on a familiar face and smiled as she took the seat next to Relazar. Hello, cousin. She said, placing her book and paper on the desk before scanning the sheet and starting to right. She bit her lip, mulling over a few. It shouldn't be this hard to fill out standard information on herself, but at the same time...she was so unsure.

"AHAHAHAHAH!!! Very well then, honorable teacher. I shall bless this paper with the writing skills that I have learned from my parents. "But surprisingly, Ratomi was writing very slow. With every mistake that he made, he ended up erasing the whole thing and starting from scratch, kind of remembering each time that his mom had to write over the letters he made whenever he did them incorrectly. However, he still pressed on, still drawing the words in a manner that seemed at least satisfactory if his doting mother was around to slam on the table occasionally. People would think that due to Ratomi being so outspoken, he would also be the one to receive a lot of trouble from the disciplinary committee.

Maybe that was true. But not only that, Ratomi raised his hand. "I also request to use the bathroom, and I'm done! Hahahahaa!"

Demoto simply did what he was told. There was no need to stand out or make any sort of gesture to show off his personality. He couldn't talk and he found himself to be more concerned with his wooden sword than anything else. To him, the school was boring and people were judgmental. Friends were pretty difficult to make, it wasn't like he was going to see any of these people again after he graduated. If was like that sometimes, so he didn't hold out any hope or other expectations like that. He only cared about the things that won't betray him in the end.

Well how exquistly late the young boy was. He had no intention of actually going, they had basically forced him to come to this dreadful place. He didn't like it. Takata had enough going on before all of this. In fact when the handlers teachers found him he gave them a full on chase around the academy grounds, skating to his hearts content before finally irking the staff enough to simply drag him to the orientation he was already late to. The teacher in the orange was in the midst of explaining what was going on. It seemd Takata wasn't the only one who was late. Good. This place sucked. Their was barely any seats left and was sent to the back. He chose the seat with a big 42 on it and looked over the sheet they were telling him to fill. Well... Might as well fill it. It was up to him to make his own fun seeing he could already hear the whispers in the back of his head.

In the midst of writing his sheet, it seemed the boy got seemingly tired and took a quick 10 second power nap. The small bubble pop woke him back up and he finished off filling the sheet. He was swallowing the hard pill that he was probably stuck here. He was doing fine at his academy, he could only rationalize it by blaming the creature sealed in his belly. A small sneer formed on his lips before disappearing and a bright grin blazed on his face. Ooh! oh! Oi! Kuro-seeeeeensei!" He practically yelled across the room as he flapped the paper over his head. It seemed the young boy was finally done and ready.

Fill Out Sheet:

As such this was to be expected, they were splitting everyone's classes up based on combat types and with the color scheme Alan could only assume it was so that they could more easily tell them apart, he would listen and focus on one of the teachers if be planned on getting any better he would need to get in good with Kiiro, everyone here seemed like they had there own dreams and aspirations and as Alan filled out his he tapped his pencil on the desk sitting back for a moment and taking a small moment to think he would turn his head and eye the obvious potential class clown asking to go to the rest room while he thought.

Mika.... was late... there was no other way around it.. she had not only woken up late, she had also gotten lost a few times on her way to the academy, she wasn't use to the place after all, but that didn't stop her from running as fast as she could to the Academy once she did find out it's location. The short girl tearing through the streets... at least she liked to think so, as she made for the Academy along the shortest path she could find.

Eventually arriving there she slid into the room and into the first seat she found, it had a large number 50 on it and well she wasn't about to complain, thankfully it seemed she hadn't missed to much, just them asking people to come up and fill out some paper, so after a bit she got up to do the same.

As she touched the paper though she felt like something was drained out of her, and the paper started to fill itself out. Looking at it, it seemed to be correct, though it was surprising what people could do with Chakra..  She would have to remember this little moment... gaining information through blood or some other means.. from another's body? That was something she would have to consider when her training started in earnest.

People would fill out their papers, other would arrive late with Orenji noting these individuals down, but not really caring what their excuses were so long as they sat down and followed the instructions like the others. Due to their tardiness he had to repeat himself which dragged out the process since after explaining they would get to filling out their sheets while Kuro went around collecting the sheets from those who were done, Orenji would keep tabs on certain ones as he quickly rifled through their sheets to familiarize himself with their names as his memory had always been pretty good when it came to these things. He would completely ignore Ratomi while as while he heard the boy ask for a bathroom break, he wasn't going to let him go to the bathroom because he should of just went before class began and at the very least will have to wait until after introductions were done.

"You can't go to the bathroom just yet. Please just hold it for the time being. Kuro said seeing that Orenji was in a mood and the Yonbi vessel seemed like the type to get louder when he was ignored. He would go back to his position at the back of the class before running through a couple of hand seals while Orenji started speaking again. "Good good, now then look to your front and back. Everyone in your line is now apart of your group. Everyone in the same row are apart of the other groups, you will interact the most with those in your group being in the same dorm floor, as well as being in the same teaching group. What this means is." he said before casually producing clones of himself which would walk to stand in front of each line before the room itself was split apart five ways and each line in addition to himself were shunted into a completely different area. Upon arriving they would find themselves in smaller classrooms with Orenji sitting in front of them with a smile.

"Your group will be introducing yourselves to each other and will receive my tutelage together, you will however be interacting with the others in your auxiliary classes. Think of it as a little friendly competition, those groups who score the best will receive more privileges, these privileges can include but are not limited to; going on a C-rank Mission, discounts on purchases for a week, private tutoring so you can learn an A-rank technique, and of course a higher chance of getting either the Best Shinobi, Best Kunoichi and Rookie of the Year titles which will put you on the fast track in your shinobi career due to starting as an Elite Genin, rather than a regular old Genin or Genin Medic." he said before sitting on the desk and kissing his bicep. "I'll start with my introduction. I'm Orenji, you may call me Orenji-sensei or just Sensei. I enjoy body building, posing and teaching academy students. I dislike tardy individuals, weaklings and lazy bums. My dream for the future is for all of you to pass your genin exams." he would then point to one of them to go next and after that person had introduced themselves he would point to the next one until all ten academy students in each group had gone.

Instructions:

With all that work done Mika sat to listen to the instructor that was speaking, apparently they would be separated into five classes, we'll that made sense, and they would share a dorm floor with thone in their group? Looking to the people in her Group she would have to remember them,. Just as she thought that, the room suddenly shifted..no that wasn't right shunted? She didn't know but now just her group was in the room.. well they were in a room anyway a different classroom by the seeming of it.

The instructor started talking once more and she listened to him,so the other groups were to be friendly competition? that was one way to increase people's drive to do better, it even came with perks for preforming well? While that wasn't what interested her, vendors without the rewards she would have done her best anyway, it's why she was here after all, she had a goal to reach. Then the instructor started with his introduction, and Mika listened.

The possibilities on offer immediately sparked excitement in Hanzo, his eyes widening as he leaned forward slightly in his chair. He'd definitely need to do his hardest now and become a shinobi his father would be proud of. He nodded a few times and then realised he was leaning forwards quite far, causing him to blush and shift back and down slightly in his seat hoping no one had noticed. It would make for a terrible first impression if he ended up gawking at what the sensei was saying.

Then the clones appeared and the entire world shunted, leaving him in a small room with a few of the other students. He took a few seconds to breathe and center himself, he certainly hadn't been expecting something like that but whoever Orenji was they must be pretty strong to be able to do something like that. It was time to make a first impression though and despite the worry and fear in the back of his mind, Hanzo was still going to do his best!

Shou was paying attention readily, not wanting to miss anything that his sensei said. This was all very interesting, especially the part about who they would be in the dorms with. He scanned the room quickly, trying to keep track of the faces he would be seeing in close living quarters for the duration of his time at the academy before returning his attention to his sense. Then his sensei became senseis and they performed some sort of technique that caused Shou's world to shift and distort before he was whisked away to another place with the rest of his group "Could've given us a bit of warning..." Was his last thought before the first classroom faded and he appeared in the next.

Oh um. Amara said with surprise as the room changed and she began looking around at the other faces. She flipped through blank pages in her notebook, jotting down descriptions and creating new profile pages for each of the people she was now with. She also took a moment to update Orenji-sensei's profile she had created after finishing her own paperwork, noting that he had cloning capabilities and apparently was very into his own physique. How interesting. Noticing that her cousin was not among the faces in this new classroom, Amara sighed. They weren't terribly close, but any familiarity in this strange place was welcome. LOOK AT ALL OF THESE DELICIOUS MORCELS! Terrence screamed, as if to remind her he was still here. Except Terrence, Terrence was never a welcome familiarity. Regardless, Amara settled in and waited for further instruction.
