Republic Academy (Group B)

After Orenji's introduction the first individual he pointed to was a girl with half of her hair shaved off while the other half was long enough to reach the middle of her back. She had bright green hair and a massive sword on her back and before she got up to speak she would put one of her feet on her chair and do a pose. "Yo, yo. The name's Lil Petal, feel me? Aka Big Murda Slice-A, Aka The Greatest MC in da Dokusei Clan. Yeah, I spit fire, I dance real good and love to accessorize haha! Yeaaaaaah! Anyways, I don't fuck with them haters, broke ass shinobi and those who don't respect what I bring to da table. Other than that I'm finna be Abisukage." she said and would mime a mic drop before sitting in her chair again. Orenji would look at her with a blank facial expression before sighing and pointing to another individual without commenting on her language because quite frankly he didn't care.

Confusion was almost certainly at the forefront of Hanzo's mind as Lil Petal spoke. He had a small notebook open in front of him and a stick of charcoal in one hand to note things down but for the most part he just... Forgot, too caught up in what she was saying. She definitely seemed capable enough, that was a mighty large sword she had but the idea didn't fully compute in Hanzo's mind. He still wrote down what she said although he had to make sure not to note down a large number of question marks as well. He shook his head afterwards and gave a smile and a wave to Lil Petal anyway, it was good to get on the good side of your allies.

Then he was pointed at and he immediately stood up, hands at his sides and bowed formally. "H-Hello everyone! My name is Hanzo Hososhi! I am a Ronin born to a family of exorcists. I enjoy tea ceremonies, incense and reading and I specialise in the making of wagashi, small confections eaten alongside tea. I dislike laziness, deep water and those who do not respect their elders! I wish to be the Head Nin of Nazogakure and will do all in my power to achieve my goal and let nothing stop me! May our work together be determined and honourable!" With that done he sat down once more, clenching his fists to hide his shaking and let out a breath before pulling out his notebook and charcoal once more.

"Dang yo, I thought we were about to vibe but then you had to say all of dat stuff about respecting old people." Lil Petal said while pointing at Hanzo before making a thumbs down she would almost begin talking again but Orenji would clear her throat in order to express his displeasure causing her to frown and then calm back down. The next person to go was listening to music with what seemed to be dials in his ear connected to another dial that he would press on before removing one of them letting the cord that connected the three together prevent it from falling on the ground. "Uh, my name is Swiss Kangen, age 12, Cypher. I like music, haggling and hanging out on my mom's ship. I dislike shinobi dislike Bounty Hunters, people who are cruel to disabled individuals and those who blame the Sanbi-Dono for attacking their village. he said taking a brief pause as he started thinking of what his dream was, he would shrug deciding on a whim. [color:acd0=996666]"Well I guess my dream is to become the head of the Support and Logistics division in Kohaigakure." he would then sit down before putting his dial back in his ear and would begin to listen to music once more. Orenji would gain a tick mark before holding out a hand prompting Swiss to look up and stare at him blankly before sighin and handing over his musical device. "You'll get it back after class is over." Orenji said walking back over to his desk and putting it in one of the drawers before pointing at the next person so they could introduce themselves.

Relazar had already plastered a smile on his face the moment everyone had begun talking about who they were, making sure to take into detail what everyone was capable of by their interests and their appearances. Only more information could be gathered with time and possibly trading blows with them, he was always told that you couldn't truly know a person if they haven't fought you. "Hey everyone, my name is Relazar Jiko. My interests are going around in the caravan from village to village, seeing how they all differ, not to mention the food. Oh by Gaia's name the food is so good. The great thing about being a Cypher is that I can eat all this food." He would say lifting his shirt showing his abdomen to the others. "I can eat what I want, and not gain a pound. I can abuse my body, and it keeps coming back for more" He would chuckle at that last bit as he lowered his shirt. "I dislike uselessness because it doesn't exist on the road. We all have our purposes. Assholes, and dickhead" He would bring his finger to his chin in thought of what else he could say to the others before shrugging. "Not sure what I want to do yet in the future, wouldn't mind a gig where I can travel a bit if it's not too much trouble."

One of the academy students would begin to get up in a rather spectacular way but then was interrupted by another student quickly getting up and trying to go through her introduction as fast as possible. Fallon Shinto. Eleven. Likes Equal Plants, Poison, Stalking Cute Boys. Dislikes Equal Herbicide, Things Immune to Poison, Military Police. Dream for Future. Head Medic Any Village is Fine. Fallon blurted out with her oversized glasses reflecting the light so her eyes couldn't be seen. She would quickly sit back down and curl back in on herself with a book in front of her face so that her brown twig ridden hair was the only thing that could be seen behind it.

The one who had been interrupted before he could finish posing as he stood up was a Aero Tribe Faunus. He would take a moment to recompose himself and then begin humming a tune before introducing himself. "Lalala, my naaaaaame is Alessandro! Figaro Figaro FI GARO! Singing! Dancing! Perrrrrforming! Thoooose are my passsssions! Quiet! Boreeeees Deaf people! Dissssgusst me! I turned fifffffteeen thisss year! My dream is toooo be head of torrrrrrture and interrrrrogation! In Hakaaaaagakure!" he said continuing to sing in a tone deaf manner causing Orenji to hold his ears as clearly this kid didn't get the memo that just because he wanted to sing didn't mean he actually could sing. Thankfully once he finished his introduction he would stop clearly waiting for the others in the class to clap for him though after waiting for a minute if no one did he would jerk back affronted before plopping back in his seat.

"Alright! Now that you all have introduced yourself we can actually get into your course work. We will cover different subjects every day, and after six months at the end of the term you will have your genin examinations. If you pass then you will be assigned a squad jonin and be put in a squad with two other genin. IF you fail then you'll be kicked out of this academy and will have to repeat your academy curriculum at your village academy. Now, are there any questions you have for me; this can be anything for instance if you want particular training guidance, need to acquire specific equipment, or anything else, now is the time to ask such a thing." Orenji said after clearing his throat after that horrible performance slash introduction. This group was a weird bunch but hopefully they'll make good shinobi otherwise it'll be some other Chunin Instructor's problem six months from now.

Relazar would roll his eyes as the final student had introduced themselves to the rest of the group and was about to go and smack the person upside the head when the instructor had decided to speak up about the course plan for everyone during their time in the academy. Pretty much the jist of it was don'/t screw around and he would pass his genin exams, and if he failed the exam he would be forced to go through the academy all over again. "What happens to those unfortunate enough to fail the exams two or more times?" Relazar would say raising his hand. Perhaps a student would just be forced to continue at the academy, or know, he sure didn't know, but it would be nice to get some clarification.

"Apologies, Lil Petal, my father told me too much about battles fought and honour gained for me to disrespect any of my Elders." He bowed his head towards her before sitting back and listening to the others introduce themselves. Hanzo absolutely made sure to wave and say hello to each of them as they finished their introductions, even smiling at Fallon despite one of her strange interests and giving a small amount of applause for Alessandro, he might not be the best yet or very good at all but training and perseverence could allow someone to go as far as they wanted.

Then Orenji spoke once more and Hanzo nodded along, making sure to note down anything of interest to him as the instructor spoke. Once Relazar's question was answered he's raise his own hand to ask one. "On a practical side of things would we be capable of getting access to armour or is the equipment more specialised than that? Uh and..." He looked down at his notebook and flipped back a few pages. "...Oh I was to ask if there were any Ronin that I could talk about 'ability' usage with? My father recommended that one. Lastly is a more personal one, am I able to receive packages from outside the Academy? I was hoping to receive a tea set through and I just wanted to make sure..." He asked, though the last question made him shrink down a little bit, it sounded a lot dumber out loud than in his head.

Orenji would look at Relazar and sigh as clearly the boy hadn't been paying attention when he literally stated exactly what would happen if someone failed their genin exam so he would wait to answer his question until he asked at least one of Hanzo's. Meanwhile Lil Petal would hear the ronin's response and nod her head as she felt what he was saying had some merit as some of those old people were pretty baller back in the day. "Iiight Ima let dat slide but I ain't respecting no desk chunin who hands out missions and stuff. They wack as f- *gag, cough* Oh my Gaia you almost killed me fool! Yo Yo, sensei chill I won't curse again chill." she said with Orenji twitching with chalk being thrown straight in her mouth causing her to topple off of her chair and start hacking. Eventually she would get up and shout at Orenji but when he moved once again deliberately slowly this time to show that he would pelt her with chalk again she would understand the pecking order.

"Armor will be available for purchase at half the price in normal shops. That which is available to Academy Students will be the cheapest, but if you do D-ranks diligently you'll even be able to afford equipment that genin, or higher if you really save up possess. At least anything not a specific denotation of their rank, unfortunately none of the village specific equipment is available at this academy." he said before turning to Relazar with a slight frown. "If you fail, you'll be kicked out. If you want to keep being a shinobi you will have to continue your education in your village academy, if you fail while you are there you will likely repeat the course up to three times before being completely kicked out. From there you can join the genin corps where they keep all of the "Elite" genin who will never get a squad jonin sensei, and also will likely never be promoted past genin. Next time pay attention to what I said the first time, alright?" he said his voice being lax but sharp enough to convey his annoyance at answering a question he had just stated a minute prior.

"Can we use equipment from outside of the Republic?" Swiss asked with Orenji taking a moment to answer her question as it was something he could do and also answer Hanzo's last question. "Any deliveries outside of this academy will first need to be screened and checked for anything dangerous, this means your packages will arrive a week late. To that end so long as it's been screened you can use anything you bring to the academy, just know any poisons, biological weapons of any sort will be restricted in use until antidotes and vaccines are produced to counteract them after spars. Any puppets will have to undergo an additional screening as their mechanisms must be inspected so that grievous harm isn't inflicted to your fellow academy students and if they are judged to be too lethal you will be restricted from using those slots during a spar." he said waiting for all of them to digest what he was saying before continuing on with a clap of his hands.

"Alright. Today we will be going over the establishment of the Republic over one hundred and fifty years ago and how it now stands today as the last remaining pillar of the shinobi way of life..." Orenji would begin to lecture and those within the class could choose to jot down what he was saying, try to memorize it, talk to each other whatever they wished so long as they paid some semblance of attention. He wasn't stressing the education that was done in the various village academies denying that there was anything outside of Republic Walls that could even be considered civilization, after all one of the members of this clan had a parent hailing from the Pirate World of all places. No he would get them brushed up on enough history that they understood the Republic's stance on the world and focus on the important things such as the hierarchy within the villages, the various departments and other things that they needed to know. After that he would give them the choice of where to go for their next class as they had three choices, all of which were handled by Instructors other than him.

At least two of his three questions were answered but he could understand that there was a lot to do. So with that done, Hanzo settled himself in and made notes of anything interesting that was spoken about in the lecture. He knew some of what was being taught, his father had homeschooled him for the beginnings of his life but there was still a lot he didn't know and he was happy to note everything down.

Once the lecture was over, he made sure to check that the charcoal hadn't smudged before carefully closing his notebook over and tying it shut with the twine attached to the spine of the book. He got up and bowed to Orenji. "Thank you for the lessons, Sensei." He stated before putting his things away and heading towards his next lesson, at the very least he enjoyed just learning new things, hopefully his companions in the group would be the same.
