Captain Boomerang and the League of Frienship Issue 1

Mirstone was a bustling city now that the Bachiatari had started to make things a bit better. Materials were being moved in, repairs were being made, markets set up and life was generally good! However in every city there was always a shady underworld and they always hated the people that ruled over everyone! The Bachiatari were spreading their ruthless control over the city, trying to make everything great again and safe and free! That was getting in the way of criminal activities! They couldn't sell weapons properly, they couldn't deal drugs because there were always some damned Medad wandering around. It was time for the criminal underground to rise up against these Oppressors of Evil and Cruelty! It was too damn good around these parts.

In several places across the main thoroughfare of Mirstone City, people in white body suits and blank helmets stepped up onto roofs. They then lifted buckets and started to throw paper down into the street. The papers were a call to action, to fight back against the Bachiatari and rise up! Their city was fine on its own, there was action, there was life and the Bachiatari were trying to shut it all down! People shouted from the rooftops to rile up the crowds and it seemed to be working. People were gathering in the streets, there was shouting back and forth but it seemed like energy was starting to gather, the shouts were growing louder, the crowds larger. Who would come to break this up and see what was truly happening? The Medad around were already way outnumbered and stepping away, probably to get people more qualified.

Notes:

Rai Inugami, the leader of the Limbo Division and an over all eccentric dude who tended to arrive late to everything and read erotica in public was actually busy at the moment. You see he was waiting for a particular bookstore to open as it was releasing a novel that he had been eagerly awaiting for months. It was one of the few joys he had in his life and also served to calm him down and drown out the trauma he had experienced in his rather short life. So while the fliers were raining down from above he actually paid them no mind and continued reading his current novel, the prequel to the book he was awaiting actually. It was called "Echi Echi: Makeout Bonanza and while he had already read it before he was reading it again so the story could be fresh in his mind when he decided to pick up the new book. He was in a particularly seedy part of Mirstone mainly because the series was only popular among a particular fan-base and though the author managed to make enough money to keep releasing novels it never attracted a big name or any real fame. Unlike that Harriet Cobbler series, which in his opinion was filled with flaws and too mainstream to be of any interest to him, besides the sex scenes were only alluded to how boring.

I wonder how much longer before the store opens..I've been waiting for four hours." he thought to himself while turning page two hundred and thirty-five. Sure sometime his thoughts strayed to what the other members of the Bachiatari were doing but this was his personal day and he had specifically tried to avoid his comrades in preparation for it so they couldn't find him and force him to participate in whatever it is they had planned for today. Or worse, so that Takahiro couldn't find him and ask him to spar...yet again he never imagined that he would get a rival who didn't know the meaning of relaxing just training and more training and even more training truly vengeance was quite the motivator.

The path of an avenger is full of vengeance, sometimes one must train their body to the point of nearly breaking to become a blade capable of killing their enemies. But every blade must be forged and maintained thus Taka was currently at a restaurant stuffing his face, he did so with a glare potentially frightening those who were dining at the establishment. It was probably why even though he was seated at a public booth no one sat next to him some even preferring to stand instead of disturb his eating. "Weaklings" He thought to himself as they were cowardly to approach him but that was fine since it allowed him to fill the whole table with food which would be his and his alone. While he ate to replenish his strength he had only two things on his mind, the first being how peaceful it had been as of late and the latter being to observe his food carefully as Midas had become fond of pretending to feed him like a normal arm only to turn his food into gold at the last moment. He had almost chipped a tooth the last time that happened...

How does one spend all day reading, revising and approving documents then go on to spending all night preparing for another day of the same thing and not go crazy? An age old issue solved by Bachiatari's own Armenezra. During his first couple of years with Bachiatari he enjoyed the work load since he believed that by holding administrative power over the lot of Bachiatari's lawful actions and transaction, that he was finally making a difference. Birthing an unprecedented era of change that started within himself and sprung forth towards the neutral lands. But who would've known that change in itself could be so taxing? Waking up early in the morning and getting home late at night used to be rewarding. There used to be cute women blatantly throwing themselves at him, free food, praise and gratitude from the people, but best of all free weapons! Now its just a bunch of bickering and complaints. Just the other day after holding a heated press conference on behalf of Rai on the matter of over hunting, one of the locals called him a "Fauna Humper". Apparently his desire to preserve some of our local wild life directly meant that he partakes in sexual relations with said wild life to some people. Needless to say, they were promptly arrested.  Soon after Armen met a spicy young civilian around his age. Figuring that an interaction with such a beautiful woman would be exactly what he needed, he went up to her, introduced himself only to be greeted with, "I'm not your property, shit stain!" Needless to say, she was promptly arrested.

All this chaos left Armen starved and disappointed, and so he did what any normal person would. He'd visit his favorite restaurant near by who he once protected from a riot earlier on in his Captaincy. From that moment on they've blessed him with great food and service all for the low low price of Free.99.  But when he needed them to come through on that unwavering hospitality; they gave him a male waiter, which wasn't a problem because Armen had enough rejections that day. They charged him for his food, which wasn't a problem since he's been eating for free at that restaurant for years now.  But when they brought forth the bill; "tip" was included! Armen was outraged! Trying to save face and not adhere to the stereotypes of dark skins not having enough funds for anything, he'd reluctantly pay his due. Afraid of receiving anymore disappointment, he'd head home to be alone. Needless to say later that day, the owner and the waiter who brought him the bill was promptly arrested!

This was just an example of one day out of what seems like a pattern that has started developing in his life. But today anyway was going to be one of the good ones. For the first time in a long time Armen woke up with the small ray of sunlight shinning on his face and an even brighter spirit. Today was the day that his best friend was due to visit him and her former student Enzo. So the moment he came awake and acclimated himself with his whereabouts, he'd jump out of bed, wash, groom and feed himself. After flowing through the morning routines he'd rush over to the meeting spot that he had set up for Himiko, Enzo,Kris , and himself.  Armen made sure to schedule Enzo's time before Kris and his own so that Enzo and Himiko would be granted some alone time before the madness of the day he had planned.  Once Armen's time came he'd arrive at the meeting grounds to find those who made it at their scheduled times. He wasted no time at all, greeting Himiko with a secret hand shake which almost looked like he was using her hands to weave hand seals and ended with him gently pulling her into a chest to chest , one armed hug. "Damn shawdy! a brutha missed u, dawg. Shits been hella flaw for ya boi as of late. But we still funna have a gud time ya feel me?

Before the group could even continue with their greetings a paper bomb detonated in the air a few meters away drawing their attention to it. As Armen looked in the general direction of the sound, he'd notice that the smoke color was purple which meant that a substantial amount of backup was needed miles from where medad can see the smoke. This lead him to wonder what could have possibly happened miles away from his location at Forsaken that they'd need a substantial amount of reinforcements. Could it be that a bijuu has come to a land near by?! Just the fleeting thought alone almost lead Armen to firing off a code red but he had to remain calm. He didn't know what it was and to pull all Captains away from missions, errands or whatever highly important task that he knows their performing right now for something either one or none of them had to solve would be embarrassing. It'd be a whole, "Boy who cried Midogaron" situation which he just wouldn't want tied to his reputation.  But call it paranoia, he couldnt shake the feeling that he just had to go investigate this. Armen looked back at the group with an apologetic face, knowing that he's going to either leave them or drag them with him which would ruin their plans for today. " Uhh.. ya.. uh how's da wifey Himi? Is she gu.... Aight gotta go! Y..yall have fun na ya heard! No need ta worreh bout ya boi, im funna handle dis bidness real quick!" He spoke rapidly while back peddling then turning towards the direction of the smoke and take off.

He was bummed out that he left those three behind, well so he thought not knowing that they'd most likely trail after him.  Armen ran through the crowd like a chicken with no head, possibly running past a few familiar faces along the way.  Come to mention it, he thought he just say September drinking at a pub; she better not be! Also a man sized frog teaching Tai-bo classes, what?! Anyway once close enough the smoke that the bombs were emitting became shades of blue, meaning a substantial amount of reinforcements were needed close by instead of miles away. So he then started jogging to regain alot of the stamina that he just burned. When he arrived to Mirstone city, he'd walk towards the signals until he'd find a bunch of flyers covering the streets and sounds of riots could be heard nearby. Curious as to what these flyers were about he'd pick one off the ground but before he could read it he'd notice a familiar figure. "Yo it's Rai! fuck he doin? y he aint handlin dis..... wat?...wat's he reading?!" Armen thought to himself as he started putting clues together from the time him and Rai sparred he was reading a comic book, now he's reading a comic book, and most his comic books and his last comic book had art work similar to this comic book that's being promoted on the shop's window which, ISNT A COMIC BOOK AT ALL! How could this happen?! When was this a thing?! Armen has failed Rai; and now he's trying to learn where babies come from through a perverse comic book. How could he have neglected his responsibilities as a role model and now Rai is in danger of learning some fake shit.

" Ey yo Rai! Wha? Wats goin on pal?" He'd walk all calm and cool like towards Rai. Every step closer just made him more nervous, but after a moment of silence and being in position he'd speak in a non-judgmental and understanding tone. "Ey G.I.T, I wus curious too wen i wus yo age." He'd chuckle nervously, " I wus curious as fuck!" He'd drop a swear word to come off a bit cool to Rai. " But dem books aint da way, ma guy. Dey a lie bout wat we actually do, ya get me? Ya see wen two people really.. i mean really like each otha der chakras become completely sync, ya? Like Bake Armenization type shit, ya feel me? N den dey preform a sacred art know as S.E.X. da Sacred Erojutsu X-rank edition, ma G.  It uses a buncha seals n all six primary elements ta form wat we call a babe." Armen smiled nervously and attempts to place a hand on Rai's shoulder. " All dis otha stuff dun't make sense, broski.  If a man 'pose ta put dat shit in a woman den y da shit hurt? we warriors bruh we kno pain mean bad. Tis best ya stick ta comic books befo ya end up tryin dat shit on some poor gal in da futcha. Way..wayyyy into da futcha"  He'd laugh nervously again  before leaving the topic and going back to the matter at hand. "Anyway bruh, da city is on fire, fam y u aint responding?" Armen turns the flyer in his hand to read about it as a small group of people run past talking to one another, "Oh My Gaia! That man eats like a gosh damn, Bullfango! We must evacuate before he turns his hunger towards us!".  Armen had no clue what they were talking about but after reading whats on the flyer he had only one response. " YO...WAT DA F@#$!"

Himiko and Cecelia had arrived just that morning, with the latter taking up residence in a local hotel whilst Himi went to go and meet her oldest and best friend. Of course she might have spent a little time getting settled in to the hotel with her partner, but the idea that she could also see Enzo once again was far too much to keep the girl still for too long. Cecelia just smiled and told her to go, and on impulse they would share their first real kiss without Himiko even realising. Something they would both have a laugh about she was sure later. Himiko was excited, and Cecelia couldn't argue against the little peck.

The young Zakiyoshi rushed in to the meeting area to find her oldest friend already there. It hadn't even been that long since their last meeting in the hospital room and... wow, she realised exactly how much had actually changed since then. She would have so damn much to tell him. She surprised even herself that she still remembered their little handshake. It was so easy for her to follow. But she also remembered when it absolutely wasn't. She grinned at just the thought, she understood him so well know, as well as the intention he had meant. After all he was still supposed to work, she was to relax, but she knew what the two were like. And so she began to smirk, "Aight bet. I feel," She wasn't sure if she had that right, but it was miles better than the last time she attempted his vocal tones. "Cecelia's real good. She's-" she cut off as Armen suddenly sped up his tones and then rushed off leaving her dumb founded. "Ah! But..." She trailed off and huffed. She sighed and looked at the assembled group she had unfortunately been ignoring at first because of her bond with Armen.

She sighed and stepped over to Enzo first, wrapping her arms around her former student in an exceptionally tight hug. "I... have missed you... so much," She said, stepping back only after a moment and wiping her cheek because damn did it bring a tear to her eye seeing him again. "But duty calls right." she was about to dash off after her old friend before she began to smirk. She had recently with Cecelia's help been refitting her old battle costume for her aged body, and so with a click of her fingers she turned off her Disguise ability and bottled the used water again, revealing her dressed in her old battle costume Armen gave her back during their chuunin exam. She flashed a toothy grin at Enzo, and subsequently the unknown girl Kris, a look she seemed to have picked up from Armen himself, "Just call me Blue Siren, 'kay?~" She said with a cheeky smirk and dashed off after Armen.

She joined up to him only after he had stopped again next to someone else she just barely recognised, but honestly she couldn't put a finger on what, and began to overlook the city on metaphorical fire. The sight was... horrible. She stepped besides Armen and took a look at the fliers for herself. "... This bad huh? Well... tell me what you need. Call me an honorary Bachiatari member for the day," She purposely didn't call attention to her Blue Siren outfit, acting like it was a perfectly normal way to dress.

The deep breathing as he got into his stances were all that can be heard from the makeshift dojo that Enzo created on his own and used to train. Training kept the mind clear of any thoughts that Enzo thought to be a waste. He wanted to be focused, he didn't want to concern himself with anything that he considered to be unnecessary. To show gratitude for the people that trusted him, saved him, and believed in him, for once; the ambitionless genin had the ambition to push himself to become the person that he thought he could be. He couldn't do it for his clan as the former heir, maybe not anymore.  However, maybe he could be a symbol for others. "I'm supposed to meet the others in the meeting spot today. I think Himiko sensei is showing up.....ahh...... man....." His true sensei was coming, Enzo wasn't sure what Amren was telling her as of late. He tried to be good and stay out of trouble, he wouldn't want Himiko to regret getting involved with him.

"Ok, I guess I can't put it off. It was meant to happen...."

Looking at his closet that had his completed outfit, Enzo gulped hard as he reached out to put on his newly created gear for the sake of keeping up appearances while he was on the job.  A few feet away from the meeting place, Enzo decided to place the spear in a safe location so that it won't hurt anyone.

"And the alcohol still didn't come, I have to do my best to maintain control of Areadbhar... "

Watching Himiko and armen do that Illuminati handshake was pretty strange to Enzo. "Is that some kind of jutsu?" He wondered if a handshake could be some kind of juinjutsu curse that can prevent anyone from sharing some kind of secret with each other? Or maybe it's a jutsu that releases such a restriction? That was something advanced that could be useful in the long run, but Enzo wasn't sure if something like that was for him.   However, seeing the smoke appeared prompted Enzo to take out a paper and read it as an appropriate level. "Smoke.....color....pink? No it's purple right? " While Enzo was trying to figure out what that signal meant, he was enclosed with a tight hug. "I missed you to himiko sensei! But, you are married now?! How long has it been?  W-wait, himiko sensei, don't cry...."

He didn't want her to cry, because he didn't want to end up crying himself. Enzo was making sure he put on a strong facade of happiness, even though there were some hard times.   However, seeing Himiko in her outfit threw Enzo off a little bit. "What, you are a super hero too?"  But before she could answer, she up and left. "Dang it.... I guess we have to follow them...." Forming hangsigns in order to set up his wind feeling sensory, Enzo as about to run after them until he realized his spear was still in the hidden spot.

"If I take it with me.....it'll make me a killer...not a hero. I cant maintain the chakra price for a long period like that, it's exhausting.....But I might need it......"  Looking to Kris, Enzo would fan her away. " Sorry Kris, but I bought something that needs me to be fully alert and attentive. I'll catch up..." Going back to where he hid the spear, Enzo would take out his sealing scroll and restore the weapon before finally following the direction that Himiko and the others went off. They probably  went a huge distance, so by Enzo touching the floor and throwing a small kunai to give him a boost, travelling up to 250 feet at S rank speeds in order to catch up to the others.

Kris didn't know quite what to make of the blue haired woman at first, never having met her during the trip to the shinobi lands. But she quickly changed when she could see just how close her teacher and his old friend were. Even Stonesinger commented on how sweet their interactions were. And yet good things must come to an end. She had to run through her mind what the smoke colours were, but she shared a look with Himiko after her comment on duty calling. She was beginning to like this woman even more. That lost a little, though she wondered if it was Armen that brought this superhero thing out, our if Himiko was the source. "No problem I'll pass on the message," she said to Enzo before she was joining their seniors in investigating.

September was not in fact as Armen thought drinking in the pub, no she was merely on a little job of hers investigating why a certain set of supplies had no made it back to Ibara. She was dealing with a particularly annoying individual who had elected to drink himself in to a stupor than deliver the medicines when everything began to go down outside. She looked back out the opening as she heard the odd little pops, and soon the flush of blue smoke.

"Looks like we're being called to action. Better get in there. First responders always look good to the higher ups,"

September didn't need telling from her Living Weapon, she was already securing herself to leave and raced out to go and provide the much needed reinforcements. She could practically feel the tension in the air as she took to the roofs to make her way around the crowds easier. She found Master Armenezra quickly from her position, along with a few other less familiar faces. "Master Armen! What are you doing out here? Is the situation that serious?" She questioned, believing that he knew what was going on completely.

"Why is it that every time a homie just want to get some good eats folk gotta start actin' out in these streets? I mean honestly I brutha just can't eat donut no mo without people trying to start an uprising or contacting the authorities ..". Decimus would sigh heavily at the situation, this is definitely not how he wanted to reunite with his kin.

Though he had felt bad about running off to chase some wild fantasy of his it wasn't his only intention. In truth he had to find himself and what it is that he wanted to do. As Decimus grew up around his family he came to realize he was always in their shadow, even as they grew older and honestly who has time for that, though they all their roll to play within their tight circle things changed as they all got older. So the time came when he needed a break from... well everything. He missed his family dearly and who even knows how well the Bachitari have come along in his absence, I mean there were rumors of course but he couldn't exactly confirm them. Besides he wasn't needed in the fold not with a guy like Armenezra leading the charge, that charisma of his was something else. Now he winded up here looking for his brother hoping he wouldn't try ripping his head off for leaving. In Decimus' defense he did leave a very very lengthy note detailing his absence, now whether or not his brother had read it was a different matter entirely. Nevertheless, here he was to see if Armen wanted him back in the mix.

Now soon as he gets here to find something to munch on before pursuing his man hunt people were literally going crazy. He spotted some guys in some tight ass outfits dumping flyers over the place demanding the people rise up against the Bachiatari? What the heck is even going on right now? Decimus would rub his temple before continuing onward. As much as he wanted to just ignore all of this nonsense it seemed to be happening around the city as the sound of uprising could be heard in almost every direction. He would push his way into a crowd of people taking up this little idea of an uprising. " Yo! Cut tha shit!" he tried his best to get his voice to be heard but his voice was being drowned out by all the yelling. (There's gotta be a better way of calming these people down...) but he was having trouble doing just that, he was just one person after all.

It would seem in their haste to meet up with one another and follow Armenezra some people would end up getting separated from the others after all Mirstone City was in the middle of a new world order. The Civilians were actually getting riled up and protesting each time they saw a Medjay it was honestly quite inconvenient. The mass of people would result in the separation of key members splitting them along the city in it's various quadrants and preventing them from getting to the center of the city were the rioting seemed to be in full swing. Armenezra ended up with Rai, Himiko would be leading Enzo & Kris, Takahiro remained oblivious though there was a rather specific faunus at a bar somewhat near him & finally Decimus would find himself in the middle of angry protestors just as September arrived on the scene.
