| Cyrus walked through the massive archway leading to the arena. He looked around at the gladiator-style grounds that surrounded him. Yeah because this isn't foreboding or anything. He sighed, cracking his neck and shaking out his arms and hands in preparation for the ensuing exam. Judging from what he had read in past events, the exam would consist of a 1v1 duel with the winner advancing to the rank of genin. Pretty simple stuff but if he messed up, that was that, he'd never get out of here. No pressure or anything. He mumbled to himself as he waited for his opponent. *********************** - Indra T. | His opponent would skate into the room before stopping and looking at Cyrus before smirking thinking this would be easy his opponent would be able to hit him on his awesome new skates, he had just bout some chakra skates off of some kukinorite freshmen, so it's was on.This is going to be over in three moves. One. he said before skating forward moving at bullet release speeds and lashing out with a spinning kick to knock Cyrus off his feet, if it connected he would jump into a spinning axe kick Two. ***********************  - Past is Past:

| Cyrus looked at the boy as he skated in front of him with a snide smirk on his face. He raised an eyebrow in curious interest as he observed him skate by on kukinorite chakra skates. Something about his form made Cyrus wonder if he was even a Kukinorite, but then again, maybe he was just new to his skates. Freshman after all weren't the most experienced shinobi. Still, Cyrus was curious, he had read very little of the Kukinorite so a chance to experience them first hand would be thrilling indeed. Just promise not to disappoint. He said as the boy began his attack, a head on, slow as shit attack. Cyrus sighed, hoping the boy would have more up his sleeve than just this as he threw a punch, hoping to intercept the boy's kick with a powerful, leg shattering, A-rank strength punch. - Spoiler:

| Thre-Agh! the boy said before his leg was shattered into numerous pieces from a single punch from Cyrus, admittedly it was really sad and she would crash to the ground screaming in pain and would begin crying. He would be plucked from the ground and vanish along with the proctor while Peridot looked at Sapphire who was impassive, it would seem someone from her clan was in the exams, interesting, regardless he was interested and those who interested him are worthy to monitor to see if they were worthy enough to add to Opal's collection.

| Cyrus sighed as he looked at his fallen opponent, You disappointed me. Still, he was a healer, not a hurter, or at least not a long term hurter. Cyrus bent down as his palms began to glow a faint green. Hold still and I'll fix up the leg. He was just about to place his hands on the shattered leg when the boy suddenly disappeared, swooped up by a passing Jonin. Cyrus frowned, wondering why they wouldn't let him heal his opponent, but didn't bother thinking about it any further. Instead he looked up in the direction of the Shogun to find Saphire, the girl from before and someone else looking back down at him. The other one (Opal) looked at Cyrus with curious, but mildly hungry eyes and it sent shivers down Cyrus's spine, not that he let anyone see.
