| Traveling Through the Unrest: Team A They were losing light as the days getting late. Meiani waited for the group to arrive outside the office. To her delight, the young lady named, Seiko stood by with a massive Golem. This thing was mechanical in appearance, and once Meiani saw this, she’d remember exactly who Seiko was in the exams. She felt hope knowing that such a talent was committed to this cause. ASN truly is an extraordinary place with equally extraordinary people. ” Thank you, Seiko. This is brilliant.” Once her group arrived, she’d waste no time. Meiani realizing that she’s dealing with some elites here, decided to take the offer and hop onto Primaris so that she doesn’t slow them down. Urgently she’d gesture for Seiko to race towards their destination with the remaining squad members behind her (B-rank speeds to keep up and stamina calculated normally). She didn’t know much about what they were all capable of in terms of speed, she left the last spot open for another member to take the lift (1 spots available on Primaris). The scene was such an eye sore. Never since the great war has Nazogakure looked so broken up. Civilians, shinobi, and medad alike all protesting, rioting, and fighting in the streets. Higher ranked shinobi had their hands full with keeping other shinobi and medad from hurting each other. As they moved further away from where they were, the scene just seemed to get worse. Possibly because the military hadn’t reached this part of the village yet. So, while the group made way, they’d be met with rocks being thrown at D-rank speeds. The rocks were thrown by the locals with the intent to harm those it made contact with. Surely the group could’ve just kept running forward and avoid most of the rocks only taking about three separate counts of D-rank damage throughout their bodies, but there in the crossfire were innocent people. In particular there was a young girl around the age of four. Screaming because she had sprained her ankle. She sat there on the street crying for help. The rocks came in towards her just the same, that is unless the group took pity on her. If anyone decides to stop to help her out, it’d only take a way a bit of time from the group (1). If they decided to keep it pushing, she will be pelted in the face by the incoming rocks and be rendered unconscious or worst. They can make the choice to help as they run past her but there was still a long way to go. - Event Rules Please Read:
Hey NB, Thanks again to all of you for putting in the effort and joining this story that we have cooked up for you all. You’ve honored us with your participation and although grateful there will be rules, we still have to enforce. These rules ensure that the event runs and ends in a timely manner. Apart from that they are also made for the careful consideration of others. To speak even more plainly, “aint nobody trying to be doing this for six months”. We understand that life happens, we are living too. The train has left the station and here are the rules from the moment you make your first post here.
✹ Everyone has 48hrs from my mod (guide/happenings /attack/triggers ect) posts. Once up you have that time frame to drop a post, no exceptions. If you fail to do so “Bad” thangs happen to the group or just your character. Seems harsh but trust me, we can do it.
✹ There is no post order, but you can only post once per round. This is so that everyone can post at their earliest convenience without being blocked by someone who comes before you in the order. To help illustrate this, here’s what I mean using examples: (Mod post) & P1-5
Legal: Mod post -> P1, P2, P3, P4, P5 (end round), Mod post -> P2, P4, P5, P1, P3(end round) ect
Illegal: Mod post, P1, P2, P3, P4, P5(end round), Mod post, P1, P2, P1, P3, P2, P4, P5(end round), ect
If this is still confusing message me on discord. If in cases of emergencies, please message me on discord. Bad things will still happen, but it won’t be as dramatic and probably won’t affect your team as much.
- Travel Through the Unrest Rules:
In addition to the rules above here’s how you play this portion of the event. Your concerned guide urgently needs to get to Azazel in time to save the SOM (Son of Medjay) Elias. She will not advise stopping for any reason but at what cost? It is up to you all to decide how to make things right.
You are assigned 10 SP (Salvation Points). You have not been assigned SP individually, you have been assigned them as a team. As you make your way to Azazel you will see a lot of bad things happen, but anyone of you can stop it. Unfortunately, you will do this at the cost of wasting time (even when you try and be slick about it). If rules change or are added you will be notified. Until then good luck, be safe, and have fun!

| The entire village was in chaos it would seem, so much broken, so many raw emotions and yet Seiko couldn't help but look at how... Disgusting it all was. Didn't they understand that such actions wouldn't help at all? Attacking a child? Barbarians, all of them but she had a mission to perform and as she looked around her team, she knew exactly what she had to be for them. First of all she had Primaris reach out, gently taking hold of Taigakai and lifting him up onto Primaris' back to hold on with them. Neither Seiko nor her cousin were particularly known for their own physical capabilities and it was Seiko's golem, so she was allowed to indulge in a small amount of nepotism. She stood up straighter on Primaris' shoulder and started to command him more finely, his loping step taking him to the outside of the group so his massive body could shield them from the rocks which just plinked harmlessly off of his metal hide. If any were aimed for Meiani then Seiko herself would take them, the rocks actually exploding as they hit her skin, spraying her with dust and rock chips, not that she seemed to care. She turned and barked out to the team, pointing them forwards. "We are not to control this riot, this is not our mission. I'm not in command but I do know that the sooner we cut the head off the snake, the quicker the body dies! I cannot tell you what to do but I will not be stopping Primaris, leave the riot to the Military Police!" She told them firmly but she wouldn't stop them if they did try and save the girl. A lot of people knew Seiko as emotionless and robotic and while that was mostly true, there was a bud of disgust in her gut at leaving a child to the riot. She acknowledged that feeling but knew her strength was in the fact she could ignore it. She was happy to play as the villain for this group if she had to, let them lay their grief at her feet, she was the one that could handle it. "If you must blame anyone for the dark choices made here, then blame me. I am the medical representative and I will take the pain for this as long as it keeps everyone else focused." Her voice this time was far colder and she stared straight ahead, adjusting her glasses. It was truly a dark day. - Spoiler:

Description: A simple form of movement designed to facilitate speed while using the least amount of stamina possible, keeping it active for other techniques. This speed allows the user to move at C-Rank- speeds but consumes only half the relevant stamina due to the economic movement that the user possesses. In addition, if the user possesses Lightning Release, they can charge their joints with it, allowing them to generate 4 D-Ranks of Lightning Materia each PT that they are moving.

Description: Seiko's body is naturally resistant to damage, this doesn't mean she doesn't take the damage like some other Ronin but that instead her body can withstand more damage before it breaks. Her defense tiers follow something similar, this counts as C-Rank defense for status effect purposes however it only protects against D-Rank physical damage and lower. Instead if Seiko takes C-Rank physical damage or lower, the damage is reflected back at what struck her and still damages her in the process, this can break weapons or brutally harm people that try and engage her physically.

| Even if the light was starting to dim, the one thing that Jin still had was his heat sensory. With that and his heat storage, he was wrapping up any contingency plans he would need without setting up the most crucial of jutsu's in the middle of the fight. This is what he would need at the moment and those bits of seconds would have been invaluable to him. Jin didn't necessarily need to sit on the golem, he was moving at B rank speeds in order to keep up with the group, or at least use his heat sensory to pick up things immediately and give the information back to the group. Due to his volatile heat, Jin's heat sensory reached about 180 feet at the time. There was nothing that would realistically sneak up on them unless Jin wouldn't know about it first. But then there was the little girl who was being pelted by the rocks,.He didn't necessarily think that he could stop in order to help her due to the fact that he was short on time, but his body moved on his own. Hey couldn't really hit him because of his speed and reaction tiers, and the sensory made it even more pathetically slow.
"Kotone, be right back. Don't worry, I'm faster than you think."Moving towards the little girl and scooping her up in his big arms while he avoided the rocks with his reaction tiers as well. He would then proceed to bring her to safety so that she wouldn't end up losing her life. *I'm choosing to save her.* - Spoiler:

In addition when they do possess speed tiers it gives them the ability to react to speeds up to 1 rank above their own as long as it doesn't exceed their rank.

| Kotone would have gone if Jinnouchi had not. Sure they needed to conserve energy, and make this quick, but she had to agree with him that they couldn't also give up their ideals. Elias would probably yell at them if they just kept going. She began to step aside to go after the kid to protect them, but Jinnouchi stepped forwards instead to do it for her. "... I have to agree. A kid as young as she looked could get seriously hurt in this riot. I don't want to be the type of shinobi her turns her back on the innocent. If she were just alone in the crowd, fine, but they're bullying her." Her fists clenched as she thought about what could possibly have happened. "And Jinnouchi is our leader. I'm sure he thought much the same as you Seiko and weighed the options."
Meanwhile Kotone would simply keep her Hydrification form on so she didn't need the protecting by the golem herself. She was able to just keep moving with the golem and letting the rocks being thrown at them phase right through her. She wanted to do something, something harmless, to try and dispurse the group. But she knew this would look bad for them. This was her home dammit! So she did the best thing she could; she prayed to Kikuri under her breath, and began to sing a gentle song as they ran. Her plan? Create a target that wasn't another civilian. And as such, she would stray a good few feet from the squad to pull some of the rocks away from them to her watery self. | |

| Kaili had kept pace with his group at crashing ground speeds as they set off on their mission. In beginning as he exited the building he was comletely focused on helping his squad save Elias, but when his eyes were met with the situation going on in the village, it shook him. "What is this?" He'd ask, but he knew what this was he had just never witnessed it. It was chaos, pure and simple. There were fights breaking out everywhere he looked between rioters and shinobi. Numerous voices sung out into the setting day to force... or wish their voices to be heard. So many screams, and so many cries, it was all too much. They all couldn't be saved. Could they? He wasn't a hero. Kaili knew this better than anyone. He knew himself and his instincts deeply. So he would carry on. Running past it all, the screams and the cries. This squad as a whole had a mission to see through and it was their duty to focus on that task. Sieko's words had caught him. Still, it felt hard for the young genin. Like there was a weight he had just placed on his shoulders. One that couldn't just be tossed off at his whim. The rocks that were tossed by those they ran through only complicated things more for Kaili. Although none would harm him as his speed and level of reaction would allow him to evade them with ease as he stayed with the group. Was he their enemy now? Is that how this works? He hadn't moved to save the girl, because of the mission but Jinnouchi had, and Kotone agreed with him. A certain expression would be on his face, not of surprise nor awe yet close to both. It was like struggling with a puzzle and then having someone show you how to solve it easily. Just like that he felt there were more ways to this shinobi thing. Then he knew, or rather he remembered, his friends were some pretty good people. Bringing his focus back to the front he kept his position close to the middle of the group as they moved along. - Spoiler:

| “Thanks for the lift.”, Taigakai said. It was still embarrassing he wasn’t able to move so quickly, but he wasn’t going to complain about that during a mission. He settled on the golem’s other shoulder, which was an easier spot to latch rather than its back. Taigakai moved his gourd to the side to catch the rocks, a metallic clink accompanied with a crystalline note rang whenever the rocks hit the gourd itself or the ice-crystal mesh that laced over it. He checked behind to see someone stray from the group opting to save the child in question. He didn’t question it, he’d have done so too if it didn’t require him to keep up with a group he probably wouldn’t be able to do so easily. The looks of everyone else seemed to be on the same page to Seiko’s remark. Despite mentioning focusing on the main goal of this mission, she never said anything about not dealing with the chaos later. Of course, dealing with it later could mean more people are hurt by the time they got back, but that meant there was a bit more of a choice for them all to get there to help without Seiko going on without them. “If able, I’m voting we try to stop this mess after we get the main problem.”, he said. Of course, it was too early to keep on it, especially without knowing just how much they’re dealing with, but it was still a thought he’d like to see through to the end. - Spoiler:

Description: As the children of Winter, the Toketsu's adrenaline heightens their natural abilities causing them not to heat up but to cool down, causing the surrounding air to freeze around them. This just enhances itself the longer that the Toketsu fights causing the ground around them to frost over, snow to flutter down simply from the cooling water molecules in the air. This of course quickly gets uncomfortable for anyone not a Toketsu as they are immune to their own Winter's Breath but not the chakra signature of another Toketsu. Lastly the Toketsu's Breath can be sped up as they pour their stamina into it, paying fatigue to speed up the chill of the Breath. Due to their Chilled Physiology however the usual effects of the basic form of Winter's Breath do not affect the Toketsu. This aura actually doesn't deal damage on its own, instead it starts to inflict Hypothermia, draining a limit much like sanity or fatigue. This limit is equal to 3/4 of the victim's fatigue as it affects both the mind and body. Once the limit is depleted unless the victim possesses Barrier+Endurance tier chain equal or higher than the user's rank (Caps at S.) then they succumb to hypothermia, either entering a manic fear state as they claw at their own body to remove the numbness or find the smallest area they possibly can to curl up in and wait to die.

| Still Traveling Through Unrest: A Family Man This morning a man got to celebrate his two-year anniversary with his lovely wife and nine-year-old daughter. It was a hallmark kind of day with so much peace and joy. He had just joined the military police and couldn’t afford a sitter. So, he took the kid with them on the romantic picnics, the walks in the park, the visits to the farmer’s market, and even back to the place where the couple first fell in love. Maybe some children would find all this love stuff a bit uncomfortable, but nope, not Sarai. She welds up with tears at ever sight, completely enamored with her mother’s happiness. See her biological father wasn’t a good man and was put away long ago when she was about five years old. Finn had been the only good example of a fatherly figure in her life. The day was practically over when the chaos started. So, his date was cut short and he and his family headed back to their home. He barricaded, geared up and waited with his concerned family to be called in for duty. The day was coming to an end, and he’d hear the sounds of rioting in the streets. At this time Team A had been making their way towards Azazel. The rioters on the outside proceeded to throw rocks at them for being shinobi. These rioters were Medad and non Medad civilians who worked the shops in town which greatly contributed to Nazogakure’s economy. No way did they intend to harm a little girl, but she indeed got in the way. As most of the rocks went passed the group and made their way to the little girl, Jinnouchi (Big Jin Jin) came in for the save. He couldn’t in all good conscience leave an innocent girl in harm’s way. No that just wasn’t his style. So, against the advisement of the team genius and medical expert, he removed her from danger. At that moment, he was the first ball of light that she’s seen in the many hours of darkness. Her eyes were full of tears and gratitude; she will never forget his medjay looking face and how he saved her. ”Th..thanks bitch.”, she would say, giving him a tight hug before letting him go . Maybe that wasn’t the thanks he was looking for, but she truly did mean it in the nicest way. She learned this from her mom and dad playing around the house. The team was quickly leaving and Jinnouchi would be falling behind a bit but would at least get some positive reinforcement from the lovely Kotone who was about to do the same thing as well. What a big heart this team had. Big enough that it touched even the most conflicted minds such as Kaili’s. He kept up with Seiko and Taigakai but took Jinnouchi’s actions as a positive example. Taigakai understanding what Jinnouchi did internalized it but still believed that the team should ignore and push forward like Seiko said. Well, Meiani didn’t like it at all. She’d frown as Primaris moved them forward, ” Seiko’s right, we’re running out of time.” . Just as she says this a lot of screaming can be heard. Finn had gotten the call to report for duty and as soon as he stepped out his house, he’d make an arrest. The man he was arresting was trying to light his house on fire and Finn had caught it in time. Unfortunately, he didn’t account for the perpetrator being part of a group. He was attacked from behind with a metal bat. Before he knew it three other guys stood near him ready to beat him to an inch of his life. The group wasn’t very strong, but that cheap shot had left him rattled and near unconscious. “Shinobi scum”, was all that came out of one of their mouths before they began. All his wife could do was hide the kid and scream for them to stop. This is the same screaming that Team A would hear as they move towards the scene. The choice is the same, ignore and move along(0) or keep this family from being broken as well(3). Time is ticking.

| Kotone nodded to Jinnouchi as he joined them again, even if Meini was right that they had split the group and inadvertedly slowed so slightly, she still couldn't fault him. And still she kept singing, keeping her own hopes up, raising the party's spirits, and drawing attention hopefully from the crowd to them. They could defend themselves just fine. "Seiko might be right in a lot of ways, but letting a child be hurt, especially in this crowd where they could be beyond just hurt, is the opposite of 'right'," She had no issues telling off their guide between her little choruses. She was angry, and she was upset. The happy-go-lucky Kotone was anything but that day.
What she might not have wanted to admit, was she was signing so she didn't hear the screams so much. That was the second more heartbreaking thing of the day. So much discord across her village, and she couldn't do much to halt the riots. And one such had her briefly stop, watching the scene of a man being assaulted. Her fists clenched tightly. She wanted to help. She should have helped. But she tore herself away, tears coming back to her eyes, and raced back to the group to continue onwards. "I'm sorry. We can't stop for the adults. They have a higher chance for survival if they get attacked and help is definitely coming." She looked to Seiko, as both the medic, and the cold, realistic thinker, looking for some kind of validation that despite her heart, this was what they needed to do. | |

| With jin being able to save the little girl and get her away from the throwing rocks. He gave her a friendly smile and patted her on the head.
"Alright, go and find somewhere to be safe when this all blows over ok. Don't worry, your family will come to find you. "
However, the moment this sweet little girl said thanks and with the profanity thrown in there, Jin was a little dumbfounded.
"Ahhh.... no problem. "
He then began to dash off in order to catch up to Kotone in the others when he came across a beating of some kind. Or better yet, he sensed a bunch of heat sources, and the sounds that he heard wasn't pretty. But still, Jin had his priorities. He could save all of these people in front of him but there was still Elias. He could have been tortured by now and Jin didn't want to take too long.
"I'm too far behind...I'm sorry....."
It hurt him a bit, but Jin had to keep going. | |

| From her perch atop Primaris, Seiko saw what was happening ahead and she closed her eyes for a moment, letting out a sigh that was lost in the tumult of her surroundings. She fully expected the others to perhaps try and save this guy like they had the child even though it would take far longer. So she spun around, sitting on Primaris' shoulder.... And then they done the sensible thing. She could see it in them that it hurt, although she more recognised it as pain than sadness due to her unique affliction.
Well it was time to continue being the medical person, she guessed, and it was time to reinforce this behaviour. She coughed and raised her voice so the group could hear her. "I know that it hurts. I can see it in you and I'm not immune to it either. I care, just as all of you do but we must keep going! The danger Elias is in is greater than any of what is happening around us. I refuse to believe him dead and I refuse to let him die because we wasted time. We must keep running, I'd push for faster if it wouldn't split the group up." She told them, taking her glasses off to rub some dust and smoke off them.
She didn't know what pain would come next but they had to keep running. She knew deep down that she was trying to manipulate them, it wasn't Elias that she personally cared about, he was just a useful asset. If she done this right and proved herself, it'd make getting access to forbidden materials and the Medical Exams far easier... Not that anyone around her needed to know that. With that she ignored the beating and kept Primaris moving forwards at the same speed. | |

| Jinnouchi was successful in protecting the little girl, bringing a smile to Kaili's face. "Way to go back there Jinn!" He would say as Jinn caught back up with the group. He would listen intently to Seiko's words and come to understand them from a different perspective as they milled around his mind. "I agree. It feels bad, but its the best choice right now." He had to agree at this point. They were still in the village, and he wasn't sure on how far out their destination was. As a team, as the ones tasked with saving their friend, there was no time to waste. Not every situation need be resolved by them, if so we would have been assigned to protect the village and calm the riots. Now they only had one person in need of saving, Elias. It wasn't right but it was the choice they needed to make. Kaili would reinforce this mindset to prepare him for the rest of their trip, while still keeping pace in the middle of the group. | |

| “If there wasn’t something else that was priority, I think all of us would have hopped into the chaos down there to help out.” But the clock was ticking, everyone knew that. For now, they just had to keep going. It never felt good to choose between things like this. But moving on and was the lesser of two evils. Taigakai just hated that they had to make choices like this. It was at this time that small puffs of mist seemed to come out of Taigakai’s mouth at certain intervals, indicating that his Winter’s Breath was now ramping up into a stronger state. He was concerned about his teammates getting caught in the range, but that was bound to happen regardless. Of course, the air around him grew colder too and it was slowly spreading outwards. Others within 10 feet would start to feel the air chilling, though it was a tolerable chill for now. - Spoiler:

| Still traveling through unrest: Prove Your Worth Approximately six years ago, Key Shen was a shinobi in Nazogakure’s roster. At the time he showed the most promise amongst his peers. After a bad judgement call on a mission, he was released from his government contract as a shinobi. He’d later go on to start a family but as he searched for work his bad reputation kept him from any advancement. Due to the years of struggle, he couldn’t provide financially, leaving his wife as the sole provider. He’s held this resentment in his heart for years. His feelings of helplessness and inadequacy had led him to turn his faith to crime and brutality. Slowly his following grew over the years, living in the heart of Nazogakure and operating in total silence, until now. Shen’s grudge for the government that he formerly dedicated himself to has met the most auspicious of times. This great riot has made way for him and his followers to come out of hiding to sabotage shinobi operations. They’d assault every shinobi that they came across leaving destruction and death in their wake. Unfortunately, Finn would now become a victim of that as well. He was knocked to the ground with a bat and before being rendered unconscious, he’d get one last look at his beloved's face. He was relatively young, but his life was still very full. If he could’ve wished for anything, it probably would’ve been for a little more time. Just a chance to say, “I love you” one last time. But maybe he didn’t need that, his family already knew. With a terrifying scream, his wife collapsed to the ground as the sounds of metal bats breaking bones followed. Team A kept moving forward. Meiani felt disgusted by what she had advised these youths to do. Her stomach was turning as the loud sounds of bones breaking still reached them from their many meters of distance. She’d simply close her eyes and hum the melody to, Visions of a Mad King to help strengthen her nerves. Shortly after a cracking sound is heard, followed by rumbling. Then two flaming boulders rolled together in front of the groups path. These boulders were each Large(M) in size and was set ablaze to prevent anyone from touching them. They blocked the path and would require S-rank strength to move just one of the two boulders. If physical contact was made with them while they were still burning, that’d result in A-rank physical fire damage taken along with a C-rank burn status. “This helplessness you feel, has been felt by us long before today”. A masked man speaks out to the team while other masked figures emerge from the sides. The group is moving but they’re now surrounded. ” We must not stop! We’re getting close, find a way to push through!” Meiani may have worked as a spy for Nazogakure but had no experience in combat or situations like this one. In order for the group to do what she asked they’d first need to get rid of the blockade and then all take off at A-rank speeds. If they could not fulfill these two conditions, then this might just take up far too much time. The masked men charged at Team A with bats and machetes. A group of ten charged at Seiko's golem, each attempting to strike the construct (10 counts of C-rank physical damage). A few Molotov were thrown to hit those sitting on top of the golem. If that was successful, those riding the golem would have to save themselves or risk taking five counts of C-rank physical fire damage. For those at the bottom, five masked figures charged them with various weapons. Towards Kotone, two of them ran at her with a barrel of all things. One can assume that they’ve been keeping a watchful eye on the group since taking the path to Azazel. They must’ve been ready for Kotone, in the silliest of ways but dealing with them would still take time. Jinnouchi was the bigger looking person in the group so their leader just assumed that he’d be the head of the team. So, the leader along with one of his members charged Jinnouchi with machetes. The first swung at B-rank speeds and the leader did the same at A-rank speeds in hopes to cut him down. Dealing with them will also take time. Finally the last of them went after young Kaili. He’d come at Kaili with chains attempting to swing the chain around his neck at B-rank speeds. If successful he’d pull causing the hold to get tighter and chock Kaili. Dealing with this would also take time. So now it becomes a matter of having the right stuff to weather this ambush. With little time to think what will team A do? - Things to Know:
So there are two conditions to get out of this scenario without spending SP. But you must choose wisely because if done wrong can end up costing more time.
1. the first condition is to get rid of the blockade. If one person takes care of the two burning boulders, then it will cost nothing. Keeping in mind that they can still burn and would require S-rank strength to move. Anything higher than that will shatter the boulders leaving pieces of heavy flaming rocks to hit those behind (even teammates). If it takes more than one person to handle the obstruction, it’ll cost (1) SP per assist.
2. The team is also being attacked individually. Those on top of the golem can avoid having to deal with the attacks if the golem can go up to A-rank speeds. If not, it’ll cost 1 sp from each of them to deal with what’s going on. If dealt improperly or ignored the attacks on the golem can affect the other team members. Those on the ground must have or be capable of A-rank speeds to get away through the clearing and away from the attacker. If all ground level members cannot meet the speed requirement, then they each must deal with their attackers normally. It’ll cost 2 sp for each ground member that can’t achieve A-rank speeds. | As Seiko put her glasses on and turned around, she couldn't help but feel slightly pleased that the situation had come to this. Focusing on the giant armoured Golem was better than attacking other helpless civilians. Not to mention these fools didn't even have the slightest inkling as to the power of Primaris... And this was one of her most basic golems. "Shinobi of the Republic, forwards!" Seiko roared, her arms flaring with lightning as she slammed her hands down next to the Drive opening on Primaris. As the power flooded Primaris' systems, arcs of lightning firing through the joints and his eyes glowing more brightly, he crouched slightly and pushed off the ground, limiting his forward speed to S-Rank so as not to outpace the rest of the group too much. With a long scooping motion, his metal fingers dug into the ground and with his full strength he heaved both boulders into the air and tossed them aside and over the rest of the group, hopefully making the people chasing them duck. The flames licked at his arms but didn't break through his defenses and then he continued charging forwards, slowing to A-Rank with long bounds and half-leaps. Even if people tried to hit Primaris as he moved past, machetes would just bounce off his heavy steel plates and he moved fast enough to get away from the molotovs especially with his boosted movement distance enabling him to duck and dash if he needed to. Seiko for her part exulted in this feeling of strength, her eyes alight with the flames dancing around her. "Weak and cowardly all of you! Bow before the might of the Republic!" She howled, letting the anger and joy mix in her chest. Accursed fools the lot of them. Hopefully no one would mention her outburst, it was quite loud after all... - Spoiler:

| Jinnouchi was in a bad mood, he had a good heart and it was tough to make his fiery soul calm down in the presence of the suffering of others. It seems like a simple approach, but if you feel as if there is something you can do about it, you can't just stay still. Seiko had the logical approach but Jin didn't want to lose his humanity. There were still things worth protecting, New Mirstone city was a city of heroes, there was no shinobi there. Jin still had the same thoughts that he maintained from being there, but he was fighting against his inner desire in a way. However, it was a reinforcement of his comrades that made him feel a little better, even though he felt like he could do more. "Thanks, Kai, it makes me glad to have you on my team. You and everyone else. "It was about time to address the team. Not only was he saying those things in order to instill confidence and motivation, but he was also attempting to make sure he didn't lose his nerve as well. When it gets hard, it was up to the leader in order to reinstall that confidence, and there was an easy person to blame for all of this.
"These things are rough to watch, but I want you to all do something in regards to it. Bear witness, burn the images of what you see into your heart and remember that we are going to save Elias from the person responsible for all of this. For every life that has been unjustly extinguished, the remaining embers will power your conviction in that inevitable fight. When that happens, we will not lose. Save it all for him, Tieros Saizori. Contain yourselves till then, I promise you it will be worth it."
Hopefully, they would understand his meaning and have some faith in him. He also noticed the heat signatures of the incoming enemies and the flaming rocks and gave his team a heads up ahead of time. With a sensory reach of 180 feet, the element of surprise was on the side of the rescue team.
"Heads up, we got some company coming our way. "Jin did believe that once the ring leader was stopped, all of this would stop as well. However, there was the problem of the rolling fire rocks being placed in the way of the group and the masked men attacking Jinnouchi. If there was any time to be wasted, it would be in regards to the rocks. The masked men we not worth his time, even if they did need a bit of an attitude adjustment. "Seiko, we can dance circles around these guys so don't worry. Focusing on clearing a path and getting rid of those rocks."
Jin would say this as he would use his A-Tier speed and reaction tiers, giving off a superior level of movement in avoiding the attacking bandits and making sure they knew that they were outclassed. 
"Let's play a game, tag, each time I touch you, you would have died by then. Maybe you would change your mind about fighting afterward? This ain't what you want...little man."This is directed to the boss, trying to irritate him. Jin was basically toying with them, giving a small lovetap on the head each time in order to show off the main differences between their skills. "You're 100 years too early to be taking on Nazogakure's Red Flash! Maybe ask for more help if you can't even touch me yourself with all your buddies around?"Jin wasn't necessarily helping anyone with this, but he was the boss. If there was a command to assist the boss, it could take attention away from the others. Who actually knew if it would work or not, but if that did happen, Jin would gladly welcome it. It would take the heat off if his friends indirectly. But as soon as Seiko finished, it was time to get out of here.
"Let's bounce, we're good!"
Having enough of playing with the boss, Jin finished his game of tag and moved forward to proceed onto the path. As he caught up with Seiko, he would shoot her a smile. "Gratitude! You came through back there, big time. I like that firey spirit, save some for the rest of us! Haha!"- Spoiler:

Description: After forming signs, the user gains the ability of a B rank thermal sense. This allows them to perceive the infrared spectrum (i.e. temperature), allowing them to sense temperature variations in objects, people/creatures, and the environment from up to 60 feet away. Even the target's lack of temperature is able to be sensed with this technique, as well as the differentiation of near-identical temperatures. When used along with his reaction tiers, Jin is able to react to things of that distance and receive a tier level boon depending on how close the sensed target(s) is. The bonus can only be granted if the target is within the sensed zone. However, those with a B rank temperature shielding technique that specifically states it hides their temperature or those that are outside the 60 feet mark, are safe from being sensed. If this jutsu is countered in such a way, the tier levels cannot be gained in response to the sensed target(s).

When it comes to the damage dealt by things involving Jinnouchi's soulfire aura, his physical attacks now deal heat release physical damage.

Description: One of the unique altercations of Jinnouchi being born was the effect of his distant bakuhatsu heritage and the special chakra natures that he has access to, specifically heat chakra. Due to the explosive nature of the Bakuhatsu's techniques, it actually affected Jinnouchi's heat chakra in order to produce Volatile heat, as well as mimicking the Volatile state of explosive release chakra. This makes Jin's heat Moderately Volatile and with the heat techniques reflecting on the blast radius modifier. In addition to that, Jin's heat techniques can passively cause the burn status effect from the inside out for those who get caught in the attacks, the burn status is one rank below to the heat damage taken. The amount of rounds it lasts for is dependent on Jin's ninja rank. The chart also dictates when Jin's Volatile heat reaches it's max potential.

The P.T production, due to the fact of Jin simply adding the Fahrenheit increase of his soulfire aura through chakra, no additional chakra price needs to be made for Jin to continue to make heat materia per p.t as long as it's within the limits of the amount he can store. Once Jin reaches his max limit, no more materia is made unless he uses up the one heal already stored. The amount of heat materia he can store within his aura depends on his ninja rank, with Jin's endurance tiers adding to the amount he can hold.

| “Seiko, now’s not really the time for that!”, Taigakai hissed. He knew almost as much as anyone how hard she would work for the Republic Five. Though for a lot of things, he had a feeling she was going to keep on with it regardless if anyone said anything. He knew Primaris was going to be able to handle everything being thrown at them, namely because Seiko’s golems were more than solidly built. They were disgustingly strong and she kept adding to them and refining them into absolute powerhouses. Instead of doing nothing, he figured he would scan around to see if there was an ambush forming. He spent a D-rank of chakra and his eyes turned a tinge of silver rather than ice blue. It was such a minimal change that it was easily looked over without watching his face or checking his eyes more carefully. Another layer of vision overlayed the normal, staining things in colours of purple to red to yellow. Due to the fires, colours were all over the place, molotovs being lit and thrown, houses on fire, bodies all over dotted in bright yellows and whites with red outlines in a deep and dark purple world. It was easy to pick apart things, but there was so much visual noise that he had to focus on items being thrown at them or bodies that were closer than the village fray around them. To anyone else looking, he was constantly looking around in various directions on full alert all of a sudden, but it made sense that he was now actively their scouting party. - Spoiler:

Description: This Dojutsu turns the users eyes from whatever color it was originally to a grey-blue and gives them different techniques and abilities based on the level of mastery they have unlocked.
Activation - In this stage their eyes change into the grey-blue form. The user gains thermal vision allowing them to see heat signatures in addition to normal eyesight which is extremely useful in tracking hidden targets. This is obtained from birth.
First Stage - In this stage their eyes gain four swirl like patters around their pupil and they are given the ability of Premonition. This ability allows them to view into the future and react accordingly to it. The max posts the user can view is 1 post (total) ahead and the events will then play in reality with the user being able to react accordingly. The amount of times this can be used is Once at D-rank, Twice at C-rank, thrice at B-rank, four times at A-rank and 5 times at S-rank per topic. During this effect it can fill the requirements for both a Time-Slowing Dojutsu & Muscle Tension being used simultaneously. This can only be obtained by the user sustaining heavy injuries during a battle at one point in their lives.
Second Stage - This is the final stage of the eye which allows the user to detect life. Its unique sight pattern is extremely useful as as long as what they are searching for is alive they will be able to see it and it will be indicated by a gold outline. In addition this stage strengthens the Stage One's ability to be able to use its abilities much more potently; 2x At D-rank, 3x at C-rank, 4x at B-rank, 5x at A-rank and finally extending their premonition ability to the number of posts (total) in between the user's first post using this ability and their next post (an entire turn). Finally they gain a much stronger Premonition ability allowing them to make predictions of an opponents death which causes the eyes to lose their eyesight permanently upon use. The limit of this technique is that the death can only occur at least 5 topics later (Not including training and ooc topics). This ability can only be used once in the users lifetime. This can only be obtained by the user being beaten to near death at one point in their lives.

| Jinnouchi spoke the truth. They only needed to deal with one person for all of this. He would have to pay for all the pain and sadness felt today in Nazogakure. Someone had to. Kaili would be surprised and slightly irritated as he saw the flaming boulders block their path and even moreso by the group that had soon surrounded them. -Really?! We don't have the time to be wasting on these guys!- Then the men charged at them. Kaili could only think the worst of them for getting in their way. He was prepared to fight the guy swinging the chain headed for him, however Seiko's roar to advance made him act differently. He would be shocked as the golem picked up pace and launched the boulders out of their way. That thing was a amazing. In a matter of seconds, Kaili bursted forward at A-rank speeds getting out of what would have been a confrontation and followed the team towards where they needed to be. Though as he ran, he would make a mental note not to pick fights with golems. - Spoiler:

| Something the way she said it, Seiko just immediately set Kotone off. If anyone looked to her, although Jinnouchi would be the only one probably used to the sight. Her emotions were getting higher, and in turn that drew the very fire from within her as embers began to spark on her breath. "Are you serious?! That kind of walk is exactly what's adding fuel to this horror!" She picked up her own pace to keep with the group, moving at A-rank speed just to keep ahead. She just shook her head off, trying to remember she could be upset at individuals later. She needed to work with Seiko to rescue Elias. They could come to blows later. She just wished Jinnouchi saw how dangerous such a belief Seiko was showing could be. But thoughts were all over the place she was sure. Maybe she was just hyper sensitive. Yeah. Probably. | |

| Still Traveling Through Unrest: Fate and Mercy Mercy and Fate go hand in hand. A corny joke often told by these two lifelong friends. Both Mercy and Fate were raised in Nazogakure. Mercy a brown-haired beauty in her time, came from the original settlers of Nazogakure, while Fate a dark-haired heart stopper in her time came from the original Medjay immigrants. The two competed over everything. They competed over who can date the prettiest boy, who can bake the best pie, and now in their grand old age they compete over who can finish their crossword puzzles first. A competition that now goes on for weeks since neither of them can stay awake long enough. In all their competition one thing was always clear between the two, and that was that they were always meant to be like sisters. They’d compete but still end up doing most things at the same time. They got married at the same time, had kids at the same time, and last year their husbands seemed to have passed away at the same time as well. The two were inseparable, it seemed like they were all they had. So, when the riots broke out the two spent their time indoors together waiting it out. At this time, the group of masked figures were attempting to engage Team A in combat. They charged at them but without hesitation Primaris used its incredible strengths to effortlessly scoop both boulders off the ground and toss them overhead. Such an impressive feat indeed warranted a celebration! One that Seiko definitely didn’t pass up as she raged about the power of the republic. What a patriot. This effort made way for the rest of the team to run along by at A-rank speeds, avoiding the ambush. All but Jinnouchi who was in a bad mood because of all he’s seen today. Such a bad mood in fact that he’d take some time to engage with the mob’s leader. He’d humiliate him with continuous tagging to signify all the chances Jinnouchi had to kill him. Then after Jinnouchi would take off at A-rank speeds to catch up to the rest. Immediately after, the flaming boulders hit the ground hard in between the attackers. The boulders would then burst into various pieces, hitting some of the mob and causing the rest to take cover. The leader couldn’t do anything to stop Team A, so one of the members who witnessed Jinnouchi make a mockery of him, shook his head in disappointment. ” You. You told us you were strong!” Upon saying this the rest of the mob would recover and just beat the leader up instead. Meanwhile the group is now traveling at A-rank speeds. A speed that’s normally illegal around these parts. As they moved towards Azazel, they’d notice that the sky is now raining pieces of flaming rock. These pieces came from the boulders earlier and as most of them hit the ground around them one hit a house. The house that Mercy and Fate took refuge in was now lit ablaze. The two being old and feeble did all they could to open the door and run. They didn’t run very fast, and Seiko’s Primaris was just now coming through at A-rank speeds. As the two ran across the speeding group, Mercy barely made it passed but Fate fell to the ground right under Primaris’ next step. “FATE!!” , Mercy reached out and screamed knowing that there was no doubt her best friend was about to be crushed. “Yes! It’s right up ahead! We’re right there.” Meiani shouted not knowing that the old lady was right beneath their feet. Anyone with the wherewithal and speed can save her (3). If Seiko would notice, then maybe she could make the slightest adjustment with Primaris to save her life (4). But if anyone other than her makes the save they must be careful to do this correctly. Or they can keep the course and allow Fate to meet her fate at the crushing end of a golem. Team A must make their final decision. | |

| Kotone continued onwards, doing what she could along the way that wouldn't slow her down, which was very little. She recognised the area, one she visited all too often for a sweet older couple. Ok, they weren't a couple, but Kotone always teased them that they might as well be for all the time spent together. And it just so happened they were dragged in to this. It didn't take much for her to notice and... she couldn't. Her singing to keep the mood going altered, a song beginning that Jinnouchi would also be all too well aware of. As far as they would be away unless they possessed chakra sense, Kotone would just be singing something new, but those who did would notice chakra flowing through the air from her very voice, along with a slight increase in her pace first. She was already making techniques, she might as well make more to protect as many as she could. Throwing out her arms, she drew her own chakra out in to the lightning serpents that coiled around her arms, before launching. She was specifically aiming to break anything that was impeding any fleeing citizens, or protecting those citizens from anything else thrown. But their main reason, was charging her body with lightning, as she suddenly began moving at a burst of speed to rush ahead pushing to S-. She barely gave the woman a look before picking her up and moving her out of the way to the side of Mercy. She gave the two women a smile, and used that same speed burst to get back in to position with her group. She looked to Jinnouchi, a hint of worry on her face. She knew they needed to focus, but she couldn't ignore them. Not Fate, and not Mercy. She had full belief that the two would pass on in to Kikuri's embrace, although she was sure deep down they didn't follow her religion it was just how Kotone thought, together. And... absolutely maybe use this near death experience of one of them to realise their love for each other. A short giggle left Kotone. It was the first time she'd actually smiled that day so far. She didn't know if Seiko was going to thing less of her for rushing ahead like that without a second thought, but she just needed Jinnouchi to give some sort of approval to ease her conscience. - Techs:

Description: By condensing lightning chakra through her arm through the use of the Lightning Soul Orb, Kotone channels that very lightning in to the form of a serpent. By throwing her arm, she sets the serpent free and in turn, using her speed tier to dictate how fast the Seeking Serpent travels. This serpent is then controlled by Kotone, allowing her to control where the serpent flies so long as she can see her target, letting the serpent chase a moving target if they move to the side at one rank below due to the loss of momentum. These serpents deal a C-rank of defense piercing lightning damage.

| For her part, Seiko thought about snarling a response to Kotone but she grabbed those emotions and locked them away, bringing herself back to a calm state. The power was still surging through Primaris and as she looked away from Kotone, she saw what was about to happen and closed her eyes, expecting to hear screams. Perhaps removing sadness was a poor choice but it was the best she had, for the good of everyone she had to keep on the path she was on. She was ready to let herself drift and let the logic take over... But no screams came.
She opened her eyes in time to see Kotone putting the woman down. Seiko stared at the other shinobi, hoping to meet Kotone's eyes to give her a firm nod of respect. Seiko was willing to take on the evils of others and she could always justify her own actions but in a way she was relieved to not have to do such a thing. With that done she turned to look at Jinnouchi as he ran alongside the Golem. "Look around, Jinnouchi. There is plenty of fire for everyone, take what you want." She shook her head slightly as she spoke but climbed up and onto Primaris' shoulder once more to overlook everything that was happening.
"Stand on the shoulders of giants, indeed." She muttered to herself, recalling the old adage. "...It means you can't see the blood pooling around its feet." This was barely a whisper, her lips pursed tightly. | |

| Jinnouchi with his heat sense kind of knew the possibility of not being able to make it in time in order to save those women. As a matter of fact, he knew for sure that with the speed that he had at the moment, it wouldn't be enough to zoom forward in order to get to the old women.
"I'm....not fast enough?"
He gritted his teeth, steeling himself to bear witness to the last moments of the woman. Normally, under such circumstances, Jinnouchi wouldn't make the moves of trying to save them. He wasn't being ageist, but if he was unable to save those two women, he would rather that be the case than being unable to save the little girl earlier.
However, the person who did come to the rescue was Kotone, in which he gave an approving nod.
"Good Job Kotone, even if it was instant if you didn't make it, the thought of it happening with us being the cause of it would be unacceptable. I wasn't fast enough, but you were."
As for Seiko, Jin just wanted to make sure they were on the same page.
"I take full responsibility for the actions of this team as the leader, if anything troublesome came about due to these delays, I'll handle it. Like I said before Seiko, I believe in the judgment of my comrades, both Kotone's and yours, as well as the others. " | |

| The severity of what could have transpired would have completely gone unnoticed by Kaili, had he not heard the elderly woman shout for her friend's life. His eyes would dart following her line of sight to witness a blur of lightning rush beneath Seiko's golem to save a civilian from being crushed. He couldn't follow the blur but he looked for the trail of lightning and followed it to Kotone as she sat the woman down. The shock caused his draw to drop a little as it was amazing how fast she could move. "That was freaking awesome Kotone!" He was glad that they were not the direct cause of someone's death. However, it saddened him about the rest of the village that they had already travelled through. Hopefully, someone would help while they were gone.
Following this he listened to the back and forth amongst the team. Paying more attention to Jinnouchi's words on judgment. He didn't consider himself as someone with good judgment, nor bad. Recently the choices were simply picking a lesser of two evils. To save one yet forsake another. It was complicated.

| Well, that was a turn of events. Taigakai took a couple moments watching the group immediately disband and turn on their ‘leader’. At least it was one less thing to take care of. The scene barely shifted, to an elderly couple surrounded by fire and Kotone going straight in. Admittedly, it didn’t feel great he was really the only one in the group not really doing anything, but he had a feeling Seiko preferred that everyone reserve themselves for whatever they’re going up against at the end. Taigakai could actively feel his skin grow colder, it was a comfortable chill for him though. The air around him was actively colder, people nearby would notice their breath was visible despite all the fire around and Primarus began to grow a light coat of frost that centralised around the Toketsu. He’d have to hop off the golem soon to avoid as much friendly fire as possible, but things were barely tolerable for now. - Who turned the AC on?:

| Azazel: Dead Man’s Insight Fate was as good as dead, until Kotone made a heroic save. This did not go unnoticed to Meiani, whose attention quickly shifted from the destination ahead to the flashes of lightning below. She couldn’t even keep up with Kotone’s speed, but the end result was that she prevented a very harsh tragedy. All in all, the team as a collective was mostly at peace with Kotone’s save. After the hours of travel from one end to another, team A had finally arrived at the primary entrance to Azazel. Once there, what they’d find was not a comforting sight. A man laid at the entrance in a puddle of his own blood. Meiani hopped down from Primaris and ran to check on the body. As she moved closer, she’d hear wheezing coming from the body, so she’d quickly roll him onto his back. “Not in here, pllleeease” , the man begged leading Meiani to drag his body outside of the labyrinth’s walls. “Where’d he go?” Meiani asked straight away with urgency. The man simply looked in the direction of Azazel before warning, “There are more ... 10-15 of them are... Don’t.” The man then slipped away becoming lifeless in her hands. She’d shut his eyes and offer a small prayer. “Be with the ancestors now. May they welcomed into their sweet embrace” . The quiet that had fallen upon the team could’ve only suggested bad news. Such a silence projected falsely to what Meiani was feeling inside. “I can’t figure it out” , she’d say breaking the silence and turning to look at Kotone and Jinnouchi. “You three were close like family, I imagine this must be an impossible time for the two of you. Even so, when time came to choose, you two chose being a hero over saving your brother. “ She’d lay the body down and then turn to team A with tears in her eyes. “But what I really can’t understand is that every time you did, I kept feeling this warm feeling right here in my chest” . She’d hold onto her chest as she confesses how she feels. “Today has been such a shit day. But you two manage to save lives on your way here! And you three! You manage to get us here right on time. Just before the beast was able to take away this man’s soul forever. Now I can’t stop crying because the ancestors have smiled upon you and blessed us two-fold. We now know that Tieros has entered the beast with 10-15 men, but most of all... I have hope. Now I know that no matter what happens in there, that we WILL save the Son of Medjay” . Meiani has become overwhelmed with emotion and needs a moment to gather herself. “This is new information and even with our full team we are outmanned. Give me just a moment to gather myself, but you guys should make a plan, now.” She’d walk away just a bit to remain in hearing distance but take a moment for herself. She also feels regret that unlike Jinnouchi and Kotone, she wasn’t able to keep herself. When things got heavy, she showed only the darker side of herself and for that she needed a moment to repent. - Things to know:
Congrats you are at the entrance of Azazel. So now to sort some things out. So, Salvation points are used to save life’s, save someone from harm, save time, save the mission, ect. I think it’s fair to say that everyone had a decent understanding of what they could do with it.
So here’s what I use SP for. Whichever team had the most SP left over would have made it just in time to catch the dying man. The dying man gives some insight of how many enemies are in the labyrinth. Having this information affords your team a perk for this event only, known as Dead Man’s Insight.
Dead Man’s Insight: Members of that team now get a one rank decrease on requirements when dealing with sneak attacks performed by Medjay(C-rank or lower). This has been awarded to team A for finishing with 4 SP remaining. Message me in discord if confused
Secondly: Moral increase or Moral decrease
Keep Myself: Moral Increased: Your team has 4 or less SP left over. Therefore, your team has seen less tragedy and made enough saves to inspire hope. Labyrinth traps requirements are now lowered by two tier levels for your team. Team A has been awarded this.
