Visiting the Castle [Baek]

First and foremost, if Baek wanted to join Pandora, he needed a seal. He basically ended up having his mind set on something easy and relatable to him. Werewolves functioned as a family of some sort, and since he lost his, he wanted to become apart of theirs. It was a simple desire of his."I wonder who is willing to escort me. "Baek already sent word out of his desire to do this at youthful sun. He was eager to be under the radar and pull his weight. There was nowhere to go back to anymore. He proceeded to visit the castle that same day, hoping someone could assist him.

Once again we’ve arrived at the Minarai Castle, the place where dreams were made of in the Land of Ash. This was the place where the Carmen bestowed her blessing upon those who thought themselves worthy of becoming a member of her loyal army. As the young boy entered the castle there would be a sign that held every locations inside the castle and it would also give him the directions to where exactly he needed to go. Which was down the hall, third left, then fourth right and if he was one of those who could follow instructions he would see an open door, which he needed to enter of course.

The moment the young boy had entered the room a blood-curdling scream could be heard from behind a rather ominous looking door to his left. Many people come to the castle seeking the God Queen Carmen’s blessing but not many leave in one piece physically and mentally. Occasionally there would be that one person whose body would reject the curse mark, causing them to go berserk due to the mark corrupting their minds. On a good day this would happen to someone who chose something harmless, like the mummy curse mark and on a bad day it would happen to someone who chose the werewolf curse. Incidents like these have been frequent ever since they had created the new curse marks. It wasn’t case where the seals weren’t created perfectly, as Pandora had the best Juinjutsu specialists in the world, it was the mere fact that the subjects were weak mentally and their bodies couldn’t handle the drastic change. But regardless of the outcome, they were making strides. “Can I help you kid?” A feminine voice said as she exited the room. The woman was dressed in white lab coat that was drenched in blood. Her crimson hues examined the boy from head to toe as if she was summing up his entire existence. “I’m somewhat busy right now so if you’re looking for a mentor I’d suggest you go somewhere else.” She stated rather coldly as she washed the black blood off her hands.

As Baek traversed the halls of the castle, he gulped don hard. It was natural to be afraid, this place was quite the scary experience. Reading the sign that gave Baek some directions to where he had to go, Which was down the hall, third left, then fourth right, Baek would walk into the door with a semi-nervous face. She was covered in blood, who wouldnt be? "umm... no mam...thats not why i came here...." Baek would say as he ruffled his hair. " I'm here to become a werewolf if you dont mind, i cant necessarily join pandora without it. And frankly, i have nothing to lose, so...." He really didnt, so maybe it would be ok for him to test his luck and see if he would be accepted by the curse. Even though Baek looked nervous and unsure, he could be strong and brave too at times.

"Umm...would you ...like...a ....towel? I could go get you one... if... you want.

“A werewolf huh? Interesting.” The woman said as she made her way to the small locker that was in the right corner of the room. She would first remove the stained robe, wiped her blood stained hands with it and tossed into what seemed to be a clothes hamper beside the small locker. She would then open the locker, revealing numerous white robes inside. “Joining Pandora because you have nothing to lose is never a wise decision.” She muttered from her lips before pulling a robe out and putting it on. If that truly was his reason to why he wanted to join Pandora he’d be in for a rude awakening, put her job wasn’t discourage or lecture, it was to disturb the seals of the God-Queen. “Take a seat kid and remove your shirt.” If he wasn’t hard headed and followed her instructions, she would put the palm of her hand on his chest. Baek would immediately start feeling a sharp burning sensation as the curse mark was being applied.

"Is there any other reason to join if you have nowhere else to go? I guess if it comes to what else there is to gain, im a bit nearsighted. " Baek would say as he laughed a bit bashfully. Though he was a bit nervous to say the least. "Maybe when the time comes, i'll find my own reason. " He was shamelessly winging it, but sometimes that's the way to go. "Oh...now?"Baek took his shirt off and revealed himself to the doctor. She then placed the werewolf curse mark on him. "Oh........ that's it.... that...wasn't so bad? I feel weird though... like...really weird..." Baek would say a little nervously.

The nurse wouldn't comment on his reply as the pain would magnify by several times as three additional marks supplements would be applied next, each one resulting in Baek's genetic & chakra structure being modified to match the effects listed. When she was sure the changes were done she would speak again. "Okay your done, you can put on your shirt now and be on your way." she said bypassing spending time to ask him exactly what he wanted and going along with his comment, he had nothing to lose so she would place the Chakra Isolation supplement on him just in case something happened so that she could show him that yes he actually did have something to lose but wouldn't entirely due to her foresight. The other two were merely add ons that she felt would assist him, the ability to adjust his senses would make him well suited for joining the non-combat specific orders while claw manifestation would assist him if he wanted to join the combat specific ones.

"Guahhhhh!!!!!" Baek fell to one knee as he grasped his shoulder, he was definitely in pain from the curse marks he received, was this the price of power? "..." Baek was annoyed that it hurt as much as it did, and he ended up putting his shirt back on to be on his way. Regardless of what his reason was and how people felt about it, it was his reason. Maybe it would change, maybe it wouldn't. Maybe he would find a reason, maybe someone would give him one? Who knew? "I should find my way out of here....." Baek would say as he made his way out and through the corridor.
