Zero approached the Minarai Castle where he had been instructed to go to receive a gift from Carmen just as the guy he trained with had. He was definitely nervous, but now he would be able to have a piece of Carmen with him at all times. Though he was nervous, obtaining a gift from the Goddess that ruled Pandora made him more excited. When he reached the doors of the building he hesitated only for a moment before knocking lightly and attempting to push the doors open.

Minarai Castle, the place where the champions of Pandora would be born and it seemed today it was time for another solider to be inducted in the God Queen Carmen’s army of the undead warriors. As Zero pushed against the doors to open, they would make a loud eerie creak before revealing the pitch black room, with two glowing red eyes, one situated on the roof while the other was seemingly sitting in the middle of the room. “Come.” A soft voice beckoned the young boy to enter the room. In normal circumstances no one would be stupid enough to enter such a room and expect to live but this as Minarai castle and majority of the people here just loves scaring little children.

Zero's eyes widened as he walked into the room. his eyes had to adjust at first but as soon as he saw the glowing eyes his face went pale. With eyes bulging and legs shaking from fright, he slightly stumbled in a good ten feet before stopping, staring at the eyes in the center of the room. He wasn't sure what to do or say, he was somewhat mute from fear. If he hadn't of gotten some control over himself he would have probably pissed himself like he has done in the past.

The moment he stepped into the room the door would shut behind him, which would block of any chance of escaping. “Welcome young Zero Ibwa. We have heard your desire to give your life over to the God Queen and we’ve come to honor that.” A voice said as it echoed throughout the room, however it wasn’t from the person who had been sitting in the middle of room and was from the being crawling around in the ceiling. When it had finished speaking however panels before the young boy’s feet would illuminate showing various creatures. “Take your choice from the monsters before, each is powerful in its own right but which would suit you best I wonder?” The voice stated once more as it crawled closer to the young boy. “What will it be Zero-chan?”

Zero's back straightened out at the mention of Carmen's title, God Queen. This was it, finally his chance to begin truly serving his new God. Zero looked down at the panels, his legs feeling like jelly. He had decided on the werewolf, a physical powerhouse. He went to step toward it when his legs suddenly made him stumble. He managed to catch himself on a tile, little did he realize he had landed on the wrong one. When he gathered himself he would stand fully and look at the tile he band stumbled upon. It was weird, difficult to completely make it out. Some were obvious, but what was this thing that seemed to be covered in some weird cloth?

It had seemed that just the mere mention of serving the God Queen strengthened the young boy’s resolve, which was good as these were the type of people Carmen wanted for her army, people who were loyal and would put their lives on the line for her case. “Ahh that’s your choice then?” The woman sitting in the middle of the room finally said as she watched the boy stumble forward before landing on a panel. “I haven’t seen someone chose the Mummy Curse Mark since the previous Old Warrior in the Mictlan.” She said as if reminiscing about someone she knew dearly. Shaking the thought out of her head however she would stand on her feet and strutted over the boy before standing before him. “Are you sure? There is no going back after this.” She warned as she looked down on him with her emerald eyes

Zero was too filled with fright now to answer. Especially with whatever this was so close to him. He merely looked up into its eyes and tried to form words. He attempted to say no, but it came out more of a whimper that sounded like, "uhhhhuuhuhhhh......." which could somewhat be heard more like an uh huh rather than an uhh uh uh. So the glowing eyed creature would mistake his no for a yes most likely.

Very well then.....bask in the splendor of the God Queen's gift. The voice said as his body was wrapped in bandages upon feeling something brush against his skin, the pain would be excruciating but no one said it wouldn't hurt when your body was completely changed into something new and strange. After a couple of moments the pain would subside and he would be covered in bandages the voice becoming silent as it waited for his reaction as to what he had become.

Sometime after the pain Zero snapped out of his brief unconsciousness, finding himself sprawled out on the ground. Last time this happened he turned into a skeleton. He quickly looked at his hands but realized he couldn't see at all in this darkness. Out of fear of what happened he stumbled on his hands and knees, running away from the creatures in the dark and opened the door, running out into the night where he could see himself. Terror filled him as he had become a Mummy.
