Roxas stood in the middle of an empty hallway holding up a map, flipping it from.side to side as he tried to read it.

Oi! How could you get lost in such a simple place!? Now wre are gonna be late for lunch! yelled Tekio inside of his head.

Roxas laughed as he lowered the map and spoke aloud, as if he was talking to himself. "Hey now. Just calm down. I'm sure we will get there soon. Haha."

Ugh. So useless.

Rainer exited the bathroom brushing his nearly dry hands on his pants. Placing his hands on the hilt of the blade his father gave him he began to make his way toward the lunch room. Which was this way...or was it this way...maybe. He was lost. Sighing he took a second to think. Konrad! He and Konrad split up and he went to the cafeteria. Things seemed a bit less hopeless, dragging his sword behind him he began to run toward his friend. A little bit after he'd started running he heard something, it was someones voice. Slowing down he decided to take a detour and walked toward the voice, his dragging blade making a rather loud scrapping sound against the ground giving the voice some type of warning.

Roxas popped a bubble from his gum then froze as he heard the scraping. "Hmm?" said Roxas curiously as he knew that sound anywhere, after all he was a swordsman as well. He leaned his head lazily toward the sound looking for the source of it. In reply to the sound though he would unsheathe his Odachi and gently scrape the ground in reply.

Rainer stopped for a second and looked back at the ground to see his blade was leaving light marks in its wake. As he stopped and wondered why his father would give him a sword almost twice his size he heard something, a slight scrapping in the ground. Another swordsman? Rainer continued forward slightly slower till he saw a boy with a sword. A sigh of relief escaped the young samurai's lips as he slowly raised a hand to greet his fellow swordsman.

Roxas blew another bubble and gavea two fingered wave with a flick of his wrist in reply to the swordsman's wave before resheathing his odachi back on his back. "Yo. Nice blade," said Roxas, staring at the boys weapon with quite a bit of interest. "What is its name?" In his eyes was a gentle smile but hidden in its depths was that of a hungry predator that had spotted its prey.

Rainer's eyes never left the boys blade admiring it's craftsmanship. As the blade was sheathed he found his eyes looking into the boy's, but the boy seemed to be fixated on his sword. Placing the over sized blade slightly behind him he answered the question. Dragon's Tooth. Yours? Rainer didn't trust this boy, to be honest Rainer didn't trust anyone yet. The only person he felt he could trust was his cousin Hukaji.

Roxas turned his eyes to the kids as he put the blade away. "Kuchibashi." Roxas turned his head slightly and smiled. "You a samurai or just a natural swordsman like me?" he asked, curiosity lingering in his words. Roxas had inherited his great grandfathers endless love for unique weaponry. Samurai were very interesting to him as they were capable of pulling out the hidden power of their weapons.

Rainer didn't know what to make of this guy. He knew he wanted to make friends, but he also knew that making friends with the wrong people wasn't the best idea. This guy seemed good enough and he had a sword, that was kind of a bonus. Samurai, you? he knew he'd just said he was a natural swordsman, but he wanted to know what he was exactly. It seemed a fair enough question.

Roxas's eyes glinted with interest as the boy gave the answer he wanted. "I'm a hybrid. Part yoroi and cypher. I've heard my Yoroi half are excellent with weapons. We can adapt to different kinds. While my cypher blood has been heard to be some of the greatest at mix physical fighting... But a samurai. They are said to be faster, stronger and even more durable than most normal beings. I've always wanted to test to see which was the better of the group" Roxas blew another bubble and rested his hand on a smaller hilt at his waist. "What do yah say? Let's see which is better. My blood or yours? Nothing serious though. Hahah. That'd just be dangerous. We can just use the back side of our blades that way we won't harm each other. So what do yah say?"

Rainer's eyes widened a bit as the boy seemed to be able to go on for hours. Then he looked around a bit then remembered instantly that Konrad was in the lunch room. He sighed and then looked at the boy wanting to test his blade. Alright...but I'm holding back. he had no choice but to hold back, without Konrad he lost half his strategy. Though this would be a good way to test his swordsman ship.

"That's fine. I am as well," said Roxas as he withdrew his Odachi once more from his back and held it single handedly in his right hand. He watched the boys movements to see what he would do and allow him to prepare. "As long as we are holding back and.only using the backs of our blades we shouldn't have too much worry causing any harm. So a quick skirmish here in the hallway shouldn't be too bad."

Rainer pulled Dragon's Tooth across the ground from behind him, as it made its way to his front a gust of wind followed behind it. He than nodded in agreement with the boys words. This was going to be interesting. Flipping the blade over he let out a grunt. Just then his muscles began to expand and contract ever so slightly. He than let a slight sigh causing his muscles to stop. He then activated his swift release and charged his opponent with rage filled look in his eye. With his opponent close he used his strike of disgrace to slash the boys blade off balance, then he would, no matter if he missed the boys blade or not, slam Dragon's tooth into the floor of the hall and kick the boy.

Roxas's eyes narrowed as he watched each and every movement go through. His sword got knocked back, but his other hand moved quickly, unsheathing the blade at swift release speeds and using the back of his Kodachi to press back the kick while sliding back from its force. [color:7cd6=orange.]"Nice trick. Hope yah don't mind if I borrow it," said Roxas as he did the exact same combination as Rainer, hopefully throwing him off for a success as this nonsamurai seemed to have done exactly as him.

He was shocked by his opponents ability to copy his movements, but as soon as he could see he was able to mimic his movements he knew what to do. He allowed the blade to be slashed aside, and angled it so the blade would enter the nearby wall. He then ducked low and moved under the boy, the kick being just like his own meant he knew his way around it. He then ripped the blade from the wall and spun it toward the boy blunt side forward of course. To see if he could mimic everything he decided to use his natural speed instead of the samurai's swift release.

Roxas didn't need to copy the hokkais speed. It wouldn't even matter seeing as he had already copied the swift release. With a quick mid-air twist, Roxas barely managed to parry the blade with his Kodachi, falling back to his feet and pulling his blade from the ground. "Tenmetsu style, eh?" he said before he held the Odachi straight up and the Kodachi perpindicular to his waist and Odachi.

He watched the boy parry his attack. This meant he was able to keep what he's mimicked. His style was original in that it lacked originality. By copying adding Rainer's abilities to his own it expanded his deck of tricks. This meant he'd have to try something different every time, or just finish the battle in one blow, something he wouldn't see coming. Yet he knew he couldn't reveal all of his secrets. Not Tenmetsu, no. He saw no way to end this battle without giving away too much unnecessary information. So he placed his blade at his side and bowed slightly at his worthy opponent. Good Fight. He hoped his opponent would respect the fact he wanted to end the battle.

Roxas frowned but then smiled. He was just learning the dudes style before he could adapt and produce a correct counterattack. "Aww. That's a shame. And things were just getting fun. Hahah. You're pretty good. But if your really a samurai you should focus a bit more on kenjutsu rather than taijutsu. You samurai folk excel greatly.in that field. Much better than yah do in simple taijutsu. Hahah." Roxas sheathed his blades and then walked up to him holding out his hand. "the names Roxas by the way. Roxas Kukinorite."

He listened to the boys words and agreed with everyone. Though to be fair he already knew what he had to do, he knew even before he met the boy. Placing his blade in an upright position he was slightly reluctant to shake the boy's hand. Though the thought of fighting alongside a swordsman as skilled as him wasn't a bad thought. Extending his arm he grabbed Roxas' hand. You're skilled too. I'm Rainer Hokkai.

"It's a shame we had to cut this match short. Maybe next time we can showcase our true swordsmanship against each other. Well, see yah." Roxas said, giving a wave of his hand before walking down one end of the hall. From this little skirmish he could tell the academy would be fun.

Rainer nodded at Roxas and smirked. Having such a skilled opponent meant he'd have a goal, he knew from that bout that the odds at this time were in this guy's favor. H e couldn't wait to change those odds and learn as much Kenjutsu as he could handle. He then walked in the opposite direction of Konrad knowing he'd have some food waiting for him in the cafeteria.
