| Ka trekked through the marshes with his team, crossbow out and loaded just to be sure they wouldn't be ambushed during their planning. His eyes darting everywhere, while he would spin around every now and then to be sure that he could see all around. The chain on his katana would jangle as it dragged through mud as the blade rested on his hip, while the rest of his gear was secured in his sling back pack, along with a glowing blue egg within it. As they moved, he spotted a grouping of fallen trees and motioned for the group to gather near the base of the trees. Okay so our mission is clear. Who do you guys want to go after first? |

| King would land with a soft crunch on one of the fallen trees, he hated swamps, and watery conditions in general it meant he actually had to try hard so he didn't sink into the ground. He would look back and Wolf would land next to him her body tense and alert, he would smile before rubbing her side causing her to relax a bit but at the same time give him a reproachful glare. My love this is serious. the message was passed not mentally but on an instinctual level they had been with each other long enough to develop communication that needed no cues nor words, and he would smile faintly before turning his head to regard his current teammate.
One of those Shogunate pricks would be perfect. I would absolutely love to tear them apart. King said while waiting for the third member of their group to not only arrive but comment as well. He wasn't looking forward to attacking the main village teams yet, the least risky path would be to reduce the amount of weaker opponents and let the strong one's kill each other off. |

| Cyrus had followed the two to the meeting point, albeit much slower as he had taken time to send out green chimera ants across the swamp to surround them and scout for anyone else in the area. They would find their own place to burrow down and send out vibrations, completely mapping the area and alerting Laxus should another team try to attack his own. Stepping onto a fallen log, Laxus hoisted himself up and out of the muck that tried to cling to his shoes. Wiping the mud on the log, he looked at his teammates and gave them a nod, Laxus Shinto. I have scouts out in the swamp, they'll let me know if anyone is trying to sneak up on us long before they get near so we should be safe to speak freely here. While Laxus had stayed back to direct his ants, he had had plenty of time to think about their best course of action, of course it wasn't his decision by any means, but he'd much rather play it safe this round and live to see the next. I don't know about you two, but many of these shinobi I've got little intel on. I'm thinking we lay low, take down some of the obvious weaker teams and we'll see who establishes themselves as the dominant ones for the next round. Of course we could always take those reins and try to take down some of the more talented groups from the get go, higher risk but better reward I suppose. He shook his head, ripping a small branch from the dead tree he stood on before squatting down and drawing shapes in the murky muck beneath him, I don't know, I'm all for democracy so we'll leave it to a vote if that's alright with the two of ya. | |

| Ka had seen Laxus send out his ants as they moved towards the tree's and nodded as they arrived at the tree. It would appear that his other team mate with the pet wolf had the courage to suggest going after the shogunate's dogs, could certainly be a plus with showing their dominance within these exams, however if they were to fail in this endeavour they would be branded as failures if they didn't die. Laxus would however chime in stating he had intel on a few other people in the exams, better to help with the decision making. Okay, well then lets hear what you know about these people. Weakest strongest, everything. He said climbing up on the log with the rest of his team while keeping his crossbow out at the ready. Sure buddy's ants could keep an eye out, but they wouldn't be able to react as quickly as he could. I would honestly suggest we go after the weaker teams first, waste less energy while all the stronger teams duke it out. Then when they are all tired, we can sweep in and file down the numbers even quicker. |

| On one of the massive trees there was a shinobi with a shigakure forehead protector standing and watching the three, he was about 30 feet away but due to the height of the tree he could see clearly and was waiting for the signal from his allies to spring their trap. They had decided a quick ambush strategy would be their easiest chance of success, and he would look up briefly to see the three white clouds which were in the sky concealing his second and third teammates. The third teammate would look down from the cloud he was riding on before signalling to the second teammate thus causing his cloud to vanish and that teammate to begin to drop to the ground. He would drop in mid air his chakra skates clicking as they became active and he would blur through hand seals before releasing a Great Fireball Jutsu to start things up. Seeing the signal the one on the tree would follow that up with four Wind Release: Spiraling Wind Balls the techniques colliding and causing the fireball to enlarge drastically before hurtling towards the group at Vacuum Release speed. - Spoiler:

They can be launched in rapid succession, one at Academy Student rank, 2 at genin rank, 4 at chunin/T.Jonin 8 At Jonin/Hunter Nin/Med Nin and finally 16 at Head Nin/Sannin rank each dealing the same amount of damage and being at the same speed.

The true danger of this technique lies in the detonation as it releases 4 Great Fireballs outward with them likewise detonating when impacting a target increasing the target area of effect.

| No one from my village is here so, I'm clueless about that, King Hokkai, this is Wolf. King said with a nod to Wolf before they were suddenly confronted with a massive fireball heading straight towards them, Wolf would immediately fuse with King while he moved in hands in a circle before throwing out his fist, in order to collide with the fireball. Assuming none of his allies decided to get to it first he would intervene fizzling out the fireball before setting up his ring so he could see exactly where the ambush stemmed from. One is in the sky, one with chakra skates, where are the second and third ones..found one, he's in the tree about 30-40 feet away. I can't handle aerial combat but judging by their appearances these are the Shigakure team. Meaning the last one has to be around here somewhere Wolf King said having to turn his head to see behind him to spot the third person his body was tense and ready for action however, it was now or never. I can handle the one in the trees if someone get's the Kukinorite.- Spoiler:

Description: An awesome jutsu which shows the bond between man and animal. The animal lends their partner their power and together they become one. In this transformation the user has pronounced animal features however it is blended with humanoid features as well with King gaining wolf ears, horns, tufts of fur on his shoulders and waist and his outfit completely changes as well. They bear resemblance to the animal they chose to fuse with, in King's case however he retains a human look other than those traits gained. Due to the much deeper merge between Wolf and King unlike the original it requires a total of a C-rank of blood between the two of them to initiate. In this form they are much stronger gaining all the B-rank tiers also they gain an ability depending on the animal, Wolf is a Zinogre and thus when the two of them merged King gains a Nen Limit equal to Wolf's jutsu limit which can only be harnessed however when using Eight Gates of the Wolf King.

This technique can likewise be used to counter chakra techniques impacting the opposing technique as long as it is A-rank and below and causing it to fizzle out due to strength of the Fang Fist's damage.

Description: Ring is the physical manifestation of King's senses working in conjunction to create an arena of sorts in which they can showcase their sensory medium. Ring is only accessible when they are Wolf King and it creates a field radius which utilizes their hearing, smell, eye sight, touch and taste all at once in sync with their Reaction Tier to grant them sensory techniques based on a "weight" system. There are Heavy-weight, Cruiser-weight, Middle-weight, Welter-weight, Light-weight, Feather-weight, Bantam-Weight & Fly-Weight. Each with their own combinations of sensory. Regardless they all have a radius of 5 feet without any reaction tiers while adding 5 feet each tier of reaction tiers capping out at S-rank with a ring having a 30 foot radius. "Weights" can not be active at the same time rather they go one at a time being able to be interchanged one specifically selected this allows Wolf King to switch through weight classes at will just at different speeds according to the rank of the Weight.

Description: Fly-Weight is the most basic Ring type and focuses on sight Wolf King focuses on utilizing the enhanced attributes obtained with the combination, one of the big disadvantages of the human eye is it's telescope vision and such the peripheral suffers, the reasoning is evolution of course. Human's were originally predators and such they only needed to see in front of them at distances to chase prey, while in Fly-Weight however while falling within the radius of Wolf King's field of view he is able to see just as easily when looking forward having learned how to utilize a different part of his eyes to see. Due to the limitations of the human eye and the fact that Wolf King doesn't have a dojutsu he still suffers the basic limits of the human eye when distinguishing color and shapes however it is this increased ability to rely on it which allows him to excel in night-time combat (low but not absence of light). Excluding head rotation in night-time conditions King's eyes can read movement is 95° away from the nose, 75° downward, 60° toward the nose, and 60° upward, allowing him to have an almost 180-degree forward-facing horizontal field of view and when including eyeball rotation of about 90° (head rotation excluded, peripheral vision included), horizontal field of view is as high as 270°. Meaning when facing forward in night-time conditions King is able to see movement clearly in a 270 radius around his body having a 90 degree blind spot, when head rotation is included this blind spot shrinks to a 15 degree radius from directly behind his head.

| Laxus continued drawing with the stick before a bubble formed in the muck and exploded, expelling a foul smell. Covering his mouth in disgust, he shook his head, Gah that's disgusting. Without saying a word or giving any real indication, Laxus would begin to expel a rose scent from his body, not that anyone would be able to tell it was coming from him unless they could see chakra. Mmm that's much better. He mumbled to himself blissfully, closing his eyes to enjoy the smell before suddenly opening them in surprise. Above us! He said, standing as the echolocation reports from his green ants came in. One of his teammates, King Hokkai as he called himself, reacted faster than Laxus could himself and rid the sky of the raining fire. We've got a fire user Ariagnae, keep your soldiers ready. Laxus said in his hive mind to the Black Ant Queen. Got it, stay alive.Laxus smiled as he formed a hand seal and suddenly plants of bones would erupt from the swamp all around him, growing from fallen trees and simply straight out of the mud and murk that surrounded them. No promises. He said before unsheathing his blood red katana. The Kukinorite is mine. Laxus said before pushing off from his log and heading straight for the man in the air. As he flew towards the Kukinorite, black Flame ants gathered in his mouth and Laxus released a gout of black flames towards him, his katana ready to slice him in half with the fire distracting him. - Spoiler:

Description: Laxus will direct Black Chimera Ants into his mouth which will then begin releasing their blaze release chakra. Exhaling, Laxus will let loose a gout of blaze release flames that deal B-rank damage and leave burns that deal D-rank damage per post until treated by a healing technique B-rank or above. These flames cannot be put out by water like normal flames.
- Flame: A Flame Type has expanded on the ability to generate flames around there body causing the flames to now deal damage equal to 2-ranks above the hive's rank, on the other hand they have now gained a weakness to Water techniques as when water techniques are used on them they sustain 1-rank above in damage, likewise they now are able to fuel Blaze release techniques with the flames they generate. They receive a 1-rank boost when used in conjunction with offensive techniques but receive a 1-rank penalty when used in conjunction with supplementary techniques.

Description: The Tenmestu Styles signature speed as the most famous members often use this in comparison to the other techniques. The user actually breaks the sound barrier upon use of this attack, their bodies are not even visible the only thing seen being a cloud of steam formed from them moving in the air formed by the vacuum left by the user.

Description: This technique was developed due to the need of storing the various seeds produced by the user of the Bone Forest Technique. This transfers the seeds into a garden like alternate dimension which allows the user to store and summon their Bone Flowers with only a D-rank chakra cost no matter what the seeds are as long as they are of the flower type of plant as trees, ferns, grass and vines can not be stored in this garden. In addition when stored in the Bone Flower Garden the flowers/seeds do not require nourishment as they are "frozen" in time like most other storage seals. This allows the user to create multiple amounts of seeds/flowers over a period of time stocking up for when they would need them in battle. The Garden however can get full but with each rank up +5 more of each flower type will be added.

Description: This is a separate garden that now allows Laxus to store bone tree plant types. This technique creates a pocket dimension that, when sealed, transfers the trees into the dimension in which it enters stasis. All trees, no matter what stage of growth they're at, are sealed at that same growth stage and do not require nutrients to survive while in the pocket dimension. This allows the user to create multiple amounts of seeds/trees over a period of time stocking up for when they would need them in battle.

| It was if these guys weren't even trying to use a little bit of stealth when trying to ambush them, Ka's eyes were already locked onto the clouds forming above. In the blink of an eye he was resting his crossbow in his arms as his hands blurred through a set of handseals. As the first cloud dispersed revealing their first enemy, a clone had appeared next to Ka, and without a seconds hesitation they had both disapeared. Ka took off into the tree's watching the other trees, looking for the enemy that fired the wind balls. Meanwhile The clone would jump towards one of the still standing tree's at SS rank speed in order to evade the blast before dropping his crossbow and jumping towards the final cloud hovering above. As he neared the guy at SS rank speed, The clone placed his hand on his Katana hilt, then at S rank speed removed the blade enfused with his displacement aura and swung at the cloud hoping to get at the final enemy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - Spoiler:

Description: This technique creates clones of the user. However, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original.

Description: An Upgraded Twinkle toes technique. He is even capable of controlling his rate of decent with this jutsu. Cuts down travel topic requirements by 1/4, it's not flight, just jumping really, really far.

In addition when the user has speed tiers the damage is increased by 1-rank above the user's speed tiers, if they have reaction tiers above C-rank the speed of the opponent they can slice is increased to be equivalent with their reaction tiers.

Description: Cypher naturally have better reaction speed and have inbuilt senses which allow them to detect small changes and point out things that seem out of the ordinary. This sense of battle grants them the ability to react to S-rank speeds even if they don't possess sped tiers and detect opponents who are being hidden by S-rank hiding techniques. In addition when they do possess speed tiers it gives them the ability to react to speeds up to 1 rank above their own.

The Kukinorite in the sky would blur through hand seals before using Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire in order to counter out the blast of flame however the blaze release technique would consume it becoming stronger. But that was exactly what he wanted, he would twist his body his skates causing a vortex to manifest around him to divert the flames overhead before churning them in order to throw them back at Laxus at crashing ground speeds. This would protect him while the flames were churning with his opponents own blazing flames while giving him ample time to turn the offensive technique right back on Laxus. - Spoiler:

This road has an advantage over the Wing, Bloody, and Sonia roads, but skilled enough riders have been seen to apply the windmill theory to just about anything instead of just wind. Its Infinity Atmosphere is the Infinity Shield.

Description: The user compresses a large amount of chakra built up inside their body and changes it into a dragon head-shaped fireball. The user then skilfully manipulates that great fire, and attacks their opponent the technique moving at crashing ground speeds. Even outside of the attack range, its power and reliability are stressed. The flames have a high temperature, as they can create an upward movement of air currents which in turn can give rise to large thunder clouds. A master of this technique can fire off several flames in succession and anyone caught in the technique could potentially be reduced to ashes being dealt B-rank damage with the chance of being set ablaze if they lack B-rank endurance tiers.

Description: This is a mixture of the user's flame and over road tricks in order to generate a wall of air which is then distorted to twist around the user's body surrounding them in flames while not burning them due to the spare between their outstretched legs and their body. This is a defensive technique which takes advantage of one's movement speed in conjunction with their use of the Flame and Over Road in order to combat offensive techniques that lack defense piercing up to A-rank in strength. Because they have not fused the roads this technique does damage to their body to preform dealing B-rank physical damage to them in addition the deflected technique is release at 1-rank lower than their speed tier.
The Shinobi in the treeline would go through hand signs before she vanished and would move from her position in the trees to another branch while going through hand seals once more, she would then utilize Wind Release: Vacuum Sphere. Each bullet would move at crashing ground speeds soundless and difficult to see due to being comprised of the very air itself all ten aimed at King's position. The kunochi however was completely invisible and upon launching her technique she would jump from her tree onto another tree pushing off at crashing ground speeds to land silently on a new branch. - Spoiler:

Description: This is a ninja escape technique that allows the user to control how light is reflected around their body with chakra inflections. The technique also erases the user's scent and shadow, and is usable on any terrain, making it ideal not only for covert maneuvers but also offensive strikes. Perceiving the user's position is possible only for ninja who are astute enough to observe minute variations within their surrounding environment, such as distortions of air currents in the immediate vicinity or distinguishing sounds, i.e. footsteps etc. The usefulness of this ability can be entirely negated by those with special vision or sensory skills, except for particularly adept users, who can completely erase even their chakra signature with it.

Because it uses air itself it is relatively difficult to see this wind blasts coming at night time which boosts the deadliness of the technique as it lacks a definite sound as well. The Arashi clan member would manifest two more clouds while jumping off of his own cloud at vacuum release speeds revealing that he had layered two where he was standing. | Wolf King would narrow his eyes as his opponent would suddenly vanish from his line of sight, he would scan the air before moving into action running forward towards the last place he had seen her moving at crashing ground speeds. As he ran he would jump into a run before beginning to spin using chakra flow to strengthen his body into a Tenga causing him to move through the air at vacuum release speeds as he intended to completely tear through the tree and possibly knock her off of it. To that extent he wouldn't notice the wind bullets which were bouncing off of the buzzsaw technique as he moved and he would drill through the tree before he stopped rolling only to clasp both of his hands on his ears and roar loud enough that only within the vicinity of the trees would be able to hear the powerful use of his lungs. Normally he wouldn't do something like that while allies were around however he had gauged the distance between them to hopefully be far enough for them to escape the deafening effect. He would use that window of shock to switch his Ring seeing as his opponent couldn't be seen so he needed to focus on other senses, for this specific use it would be hearing. | Having Ariagnae prepare the Burn ants ahead of time had paid off and possibly even saved Laxus's life as the Kukinorite redirected his technique and send it back at him, stronger than before. Ariagnae! He mentally shouted as he headed face first towards the fireball. On it. The ant queen muttered as black Burn ants leapt forward off of Laxus's skin and began chewing threw the fireball. By the time Laxus reached it, nearly two seconds after, they had left a large opening for him to pass through and directly attack his opponent as they finished devouring the delicious fire. Laxus had been moving at A-rank speeds the entire time and with his opponent staying in the same location, he was upon him in an instant leaving little to no room to react. The green ants in his arm began to vibrate as he aimed to deliver 12 non-lethal strikes to his Kukinorite foe, blurring through them faster than the eye could catch. If all went well he would continue past the Kukinorite and sheathe his sword in mid-air before most likely dropping down to the ground again. - Spoiler:

- Burn: A Burn Type black Chimera Ant has taken the ability to consume flames and expanded upon it, now in addition to being able to eat fire techniques 1-rank above the hive's rank they have now gained the ability to use said flames as fuel to boost their own techniques causing them to deal additional damage equal to the amount of fire techniques they have consumed in the the topic on the other hand they have lost the ability to sprout flames on their body. They receive a 1-rank boost when used in conjunction with supplementary techniques but receive a 1-rank penalty when used in conjunction with defensive techniques.

| Storm clouds eh? Ka thought to himself with a grin as he continued to move through the trees. This battle could prove to be more useful then he first suspected, so he moved behind a tree out of vision from the battle and started running up it at A rank speed. As Ka ran up the tree, he had folded up his crossbow and put it in his back pack, replacing it with his fuuma shuriken in his hand. He was about to run around the side of the tree again to start is attack when a bright orangish red flash seemed the light up around the tree followed by a rather loud and obnoxious roar. God damn dogs He thought as he swung around the tree and threw his shuriken at the head of the Ariashi foe. Then he went back behind the log and cleared his throat. Hey lightning bug, I want to see what you can really do. That is if your not a complete chicken shit He said, however as his lips moved no sound came out of it, but it did seem to make it's way to just behind his opponents ear, in hopes to throw him off gaurd. - Spoiler:

| The Kukinorite would be sliced up good however as his body parts would begin to fall to the ground a sealing array would appear on the sliced parts before glowing and creating an implosion which would begin to suck in everything in it's range before sealing it away into his now naked and sliced up body. This was a standard issue seal in the Shogunate when you got to a certain rank and was useful for making sure no one got your inventory when you perished in the field. - Spoiler:

Description: This technique is a fūinjutsu that the user places across their chest, and sets it to activate upon their death however it can also be activated at will as a final kamikaze attack. The technique releases four symbols from the user's body that then forms a large, black sphere 15 feet around them expanding at Vacuum release speeds. Anything caught inside the sphere's area is then drawn in and sealed within the user's corpse.
The Arashi clan use would turn as the voice appeared behind him while blurring through hand seals finishing just as he turned around and clapping them together the distinct sound of lightning emerging from the sky. The Arashi Clan member generated a massive tiger comprised of Lightning who would begin to run down from the sky snatching the fuma shuriken which would of killed it's master before bounding towards the source of the attack at vacuum release speeds, namely Ka. Meanwhile more white clouds would begin to form around him in preparation for another attack. He stayed in the sky as he was strategically speaking in a very good position that way he could overlook the entire battlefield. He already saw that one of his teammates at perished thankfully using that specific technique so that in the worst case scenario he could use his trump card. He would look up briefly as he saw the sky was already darkening due to the intense heat generated by his now deceased comrade's fire technique. - Spoiler:

Description: By manipulating lightning chakra into their hand, the user can make the lightning expand to create the form of a tiger the size of a medium (L) creature. The tiger remains connected to the user's hand, allowing them to control it during its attack and it runs at vacuum release speeds a single contact with the tiger electrocutes the victim dealing A-rank damage and through the use of chakra flow as long as the connection between the tiger and the user isn't broken it can be maintained without consuming chakra. This is done by first paying the initial chakra cost and retaining the bridge between the user and their creation.
The Kunoichi would avoid stumbling by thankfully leaping off the tree before her opponent could collide into it she would land however her hearing would be assaulted with a loud roar with the Kunoichi having to grit her teeth in pain to avoid screaming out. Her hearing would be gone and that was a problem as now she couldn't hear how much sound she was making so she revolved to stand still unless she needed to move on this new tree. She would go through hand seals again before using Wind Release: Vacuum Sphere once more, it was only a fluke that he dodged last time however this time she was sure to hit. | |

| Wolf King would smirk, as he heard the sounds of her hands going through hand seals to use whatever technique she was planning, that was the whole point of him switching into Bantam-Weight. He would jump before moving into another roll rocketing with a Tenga at her at Vacuum release speeds, heading straight towards her hopefully before she could finish her hand seals. If he didn't well that was the whole reason of using Tenga in the first place as it doubled as an offensive and defensive technique so anything she threw out he would most likely be able to brute force his way through it while if it was really high his Endurance tiers would mitigate some of the damage dealt to his body anyways. If that was that he would continue moving shredding through her body while keeping his revolution speed using his sense of hearing to guide him out of the way of obstacles.

| Hmm that could be nasty. Laxus muttered to himself as his blade cut through the Kukinorite multiple times and the image of himself being dragged into a black void and sealed away for eternity faded into the back of his mind. As he continued past the Kukinorite, he would kick off from the man's body, getting extra leverage to fly farther into the air and away from him. As Laxus sheathed Scarlet Rose, that's when the Kukinorite's body would reveal the cuts and break up into numerous fleshy chunks of blood and gore. It would be at that time the seal would activate as well and seal away anything in the surrounding area, which, thanks to Laxus's Reject technique, would not be Laxus himself. That was a close one. Ariagnae muttered in the hive mind. Yeah, yeah, but I've got it all under control now, don't I? Have some faith Queeny. Laxus said with a smirk as he scanned the area for his teammates who would be hopefully finishing up their foes as well. He wasn't sure if he should help or just let them do their business and not get in the way. Before he knew it, the distance his jump had given him would wear out and Laxus found himself falling back to the ground below. Channeling chakra into his feet, Laxus began running in the air and touched down vertically on the trunk of a tree, running down its spine and hitting the swamp below, not able to stop his speed. Tripping in the muck, Laxus tumbled and found himself sitting in his bone flower garden, covered in muck and grime, sitting up with his legs out in front of him. Oh come on! | Ka was peeking from around the tree, watching the lightning tiger come down from the sky and wnatch his shuriken and smiled. The shuriken was mainly thrown in order to get his opponent to waste even more chakra, but now this was getting fun. So as he watched the tiger make it's way towards him, slowly mind you, Ka went back into his bag and pulled out his bolt egg. Holding onto the egg in his left hand, he would hold it behind his back to hide it from view while he removed his katana from it's holster with his right.
Then he was off again at A rank speed towards the lightning tiger currently charging it's way towards him, grin still on his face as they came within inches from each other. That was when Ka brought out the egg he was hiding behind him, and moved it in front of him so the egg would make contact with the jutsu. Once they did, it was like the Tiger was almost sucked into the egg, leaving Ka unharmed from the attack as he continued on his path towards the Ariashi.

He wasn't suicidal in fact he was the one who had placed the Reverse Four Symbol seal on his teammates so that he could pass even if they failed in their attempts to overwhelm this squad. Indeed he was the mole and if he got away it would mean that their efforts were for naught. - Spoiler:

| Wolf King would keep going however while the fuinjutsu lit up he would keep moving seeing as it was expanding at the same speed he was moving it would result in him staying just out of the expanding range. Not to mention the implosion would be unable to pull him inward while he was not only moving at A-rank speed but being propelled by A-rank strength. Once they were a distance away Wolf King would stop before switching back into Fly-Weight and looking around the area to see exactly what was going on, Laxus's opponent wasn't in sight and it would seem that one of their opponents was fleeing that simply wouldn't do. He would begin to run towards the opponent, since they were running into the treeline meaning they were most likely running at him so he would attempt to cut them off while the others would probably end up chasing him for a pincer attack. At the very least Wolf King would hopefully scare him enough to herd him and slow him down a bit for either Ka or Laxus to catch up to and kill. |

| Laxus began scraping the mud and ooze off of his clothes and skin, using sticks, kunai knives, whatever would work really. This stuff is ridiculously clingy, got in my eyes too. He mumbled to himself as he worked. After several minutes he had finally scraped away a satisfactory amount, though much of the residual mud still clung to his damp clothing. Looking around, he couldn't spot his teammates or their opponents, so he asked Sylvia, Scouts have anything Sylvia? There was a pause before the green ant queen reported in, Two people are several hundred yards ahead of you, one of them seems to be fleeing. The vibrations won't extend past that. The third person is nowhere to be found within our range, possibly beyond the fleeing target or simply dead. Laxus nodded without responding before willing one of his sunflower bone plants to bend down and into a comfortable, chair-looking shape so he might lay on it. No point in rushing in head first I suppose. Might as well just wait it out until someone shows up. Keep me updated Sylvia. | |

His eyes locked on his opponent as he was catching up to him, sure he could just catch up to him right now but then his body would be slightly damaged from the speed. | Wolf King would escape the suicide seal just barely, and the Arashi Clan member would keep running only for a katana to impale him through the leg this would cause him to scream out in pain before stumbling. He would pull it out before channeling lighting release chakra into it before sprouting a Chidori in his other hand to cauterize the wound. He would be making a last stand and would turn to his pursuer with a determined look in his eyes. Proctors! Proctors I forfiet! Smart lad was he considering as they were on standby the whole time just pretty much waiting for someone to call them as they knew the fighting was going on by the were taking their sweet time in getting there upon showing up they would drop down before whisking the Chunin away. It would seem this team had managed to defeat there first opponents. Just one more to go before they were able to proceed to the other round. Now it was all a matter of finding which teams were left. | |

| Wolf King would chuckle as the Arashi Clan member made the right call, he would then jog over to where Laxus was while waiting for Ka to likewise regroup with the rest of the team before speaking. So that's one taken down with minimal effort on all our parts, meaning one more to go and all three of us go to the next round. So do you want to wait around for them to come to us or go hunting, honestly I would care either way but at least if they come to us we will be able to know they are coming thanks to Laxus's bugs already being in the area. Wolf King said deciding not to split back up into Wolf and King for the moment as he didn't know when they could be ambushed again. Sure he could handle things apart from Wolf but he wanted his teammates to think he needed to fuse before doing any real damage. Sure they were teammates for now but who knew what the next round meant and also there was the fact that either of them could decide to turn on him. He had said his peace now it was time to wait for one of the other two to say theirs so they could jointly figure out what they would do next. |

| Cyrus turned his head as Wolf King came trekking through the swamplands, he was laying along the large bone flower, his head propped up by his right arm. Well that wasn't so bad, though it's a shame about those seals they had. Their blood would've been quite useful for my garden. Laxus shrugged before turning towards the sky, his back resting against the flower and stem as he stared up at the clouds. What an interesting ability he has. Laxus thought silently, allowing his mind to wander while they waited for their other teammate to rejoin them. It appears to be a fusion of some sort, with that beast of his. Whatever it is, watch yourself. If he turns on us, we could be in trouble while he's like that. Ariagnae said before Sylvia added, She's right, I had some of my scouts observe both of them while they fought. They're formidable teammates...and deadly foes, tread lightly young master. Laxus closed his eyes, things were getting very interesting, very interesting indeed. With his eyes still closed he said, Well, I vote we wait. No point in wandering around this place when these guys seem to just drop in as they please. We have a good set up here anyway, my scouts will let us know of any danger and if we can draw the enemy into my garden..well...then the real fun starts. | Ka was about to go in for the knock out blow when the Ariashi boy called out to the proctors forfiting the match, which irritated the shit out of Ka.Coward!!! Ka shouted as they disappeared, then went to grab his Katana which was laying in the muck. After cleaning the blade off with a single swing, he placed it back in it's scabbard before he started to make his way back to his team. He could see them not that far away and could tell that they were planning on waiting it out while they waited for another ambush. It could be a while before we see another enemy, would your bugs be able to scout out for anything edible in this swamp. He was still a little ways away, but his voice would come from in between his two team mates as he walked back to them placing his egg back in his bag. As he trekked through the swamp Ka saw his fumma shuriken on the ground and let out a soft chuckle as he picked it up. Once to the duo Ka walked up to Laxus and slapped him upside the head. Guess that staying with your team isn't something your taught back in your village, but while we are working together we stick together. |

| It would seem that they were actually right to stay in the same place, or rather perhaps they were wrong either way it would seem that they would fall prey to a secondary ambush, unlike the first these three were far craftier and two hands would emerge from the ground while Ka attempted to slap Laxus on the head to pull him down below into the ground all the way up to his neck level moving at vacuum release speeds. Meanwhile where Wolf King was standing the earth would open up becoming something akin to jaws before attempting to swallow him alive as they burst out suddenly and would clamp shut at Vacuum Release speeds before falling back into the ground before the earth would become still yet again. The third member on the other hand was more deceptive, having made Earth clones and used the transformation technique to divert attention to them coming into the area Chimera ants were good lookouts but without any specialized sensing technique they would easily be fooled by a clone transformed to look like a team of three using earth release ninjutsu. Description: By cycling earth release chakra through his body and sinking into the ground Konrad is able to blend the vibrations he makes while moving in the ground with the earth itself becoming one with it and requiring opponents to have at least B-rank vibration sensory to detect him. When they lack vibration sensory while moving through the ground he is undetectable and while using Earth Release techniques the victim requires a sensory technique equal to his rank to detect them emerging from the ground. Similar to the original technique when digging into the ground their is no trace that the earth was disturbed and Konrad uses a mixture of magnetic and vibration sensory to detect opponents moving at crashing ground speeds and below. Due to being pure chakra flow, this technique likewise does not consume chakra to use, however this is only if the user has prior contact with the ground already, if not it consumes a B-rank chakra to initiate.

Description: This technique conceals the user underground and drags the object of their attack down into the earth, robbing them of their freedom. In addition, they can start another attack with the opponent robbed of their mobility unless they are able to break themselves free with brute strength of A-rank or above strength due to the earth encompassing their entire body. Usually it requires another person to dig them out of the ground in order to save them and it requires a reaction tier equal to the rank that said user is moving to detect the attack before it lands.

Description: The user quickly makes hand signs before making a lifting motion with her hands creating massive jaws which burst from the ground being formed from the earth itself which rise moving at Vacuum release speeds before "eating" the opponent and returning into the ground at a speed equal to her rank before burying the opponent deep within the earth causing them to die as a result of pressure and suffocation. In the case of undead opponents they will be trapped within the earth for all eternity or till death requiring S-rank strength or above in order to break free.

Transformation Technique

Classification: Ninjutsu

Class: Supplementary
Range: Varies
Description: The user creates clones of themselves which rise out of the ground looking like earthen statues before their form changes to resemble the original, these clones are hardy and can take physical punishment deflecting physical blows B-rank back onto the opponent and below off their body while crumbling if hit by an A-rank attack. These clones are able to use the physical techniques of their owner and when planted before hand they are difficult to tell apart from the original similar to all clone based techniques.
