Gado's Training Thread

With his recent promotion to guardian shinobi of the land of graves, Gado knew he had to change a lot of things in his daily routine, effective immediately. Well, not immediately, but today. First, he had to get his cooking done so he could prep his meals, as well as feeding his goldfish. He didn't have any other kinds of pets, and since it was a bit hard to find someone to hang out with all the time knowing that they would be more in their ways, he prioritized taking care of something. It was either that or a plant, or as a matter of fact, Gado did end up getting a bonsai plant after all.

"Now, I think it's about time that I start using these moments to practice some of the clone techniques."

Starting with invariant connection, Gado and the clones he created linked up together and started spinning around like a human whip. It went on for a while before he immediately started to feel sick, having to take a little break.

"Comeon, keep it together gado!!"

Things would change from this day on, and in his attempts at changing his routine, he would go to one of the places he normally would not think of approaching without a very good reason for it. He was also using his enhanced strength that he used as a form of movement and tried to control it by curving his heel whenever he propelled himself with strength, the curve was rather successful.

But today, Gado was not at the regular training grounds. He went to seek a tutor that would help him with a few things he struggled with.
The sole reason for his visit to the second division grounds was to find a person that can help him with not only his ninjutsu, but his taijutsu as well. The person's name was Joji, he was rather peculiar with how he taught people and if he charged.

Joji was not the kind of person who wished to seek beauty in battle or virtue in death, though he never really understood what they meant when they told him to not make the mistake of considering only his own life while having to defeat the people he had to face to get such a reputation. But as soon as he saw Gado, he saw a kid who just needed some polishing.

"Hey, try that yarrow thing that you mentioned."

Joji was also an alcoholic, but that was for another story. While watching Gado, he already saw the jutsu he used before in order to make his armor previously, but he wanted Gado to make his armor tougher. It was quite obvious that a Dance can't be done twice in the way that he wanted to to get the effects that he desired, but why not just make a dance that enhanced the other dances?

"Ok!"

With him doing the yarrow dance, Gado managed to make a second layer of his armor, which made Joji whistle.

"Try the falcon drop on the dummy.."

If there was anyone that could help him become more worthy of the role of a great tutor, it would be another person that he could help tutor and make sure that they turned out great after the training. Every new trainee could throw all the money in the world at him and they still wouldn't be able to cut it. They would be subpar at best and maybe that was ok in some instances, it wasn't as if they had talent. But Joji heard of the chunin exams and wondered if this Gado kid had any kind of fight left in him. If he was able to succeed and do well here, he figured that Gado can do well anywhere else. That and he would be able to put his name on something connected to Gado in the sense that he was able to make a good ninja out of him.

"Ok that's enough. Take a break man, you are learning all of this a bit fast and I have to tell ya, you are quite talented when it comes to taijutsu. You might have learned it a lot faster than most. "

It was funny that this guy managed to pick up on it, it was true that Gado was one of those people who valued the ethics of hard work and didn't want to give up, even if it was scary sometimes. This led Gado to believe that even when he was scared, he could be brave and be able to help others when they really needed it. The ability to pull through when it counted the most, that's what Gado wanted to be.

"Thank you, but I can keep going for a little while longer. Let's continue, I don't mind using my sleeping bag again.

With the training of nen fully completed, Gado decided to start to have a real focus on something that was a full representation of what he was capable of. He was an enhancer, which meant that the techniques that he was capable of were more akin to his current style. He was lucky that his legacy of birth allowed him to access a different kind Jutsu, or dojutsu for short. He had the eyes of a soulless, but that simply wasn't enough for him if he could only access one bit of the eyes. It made Gado a bit of a one-trick pony with only having access to one of the eys and people being able to figure out what he was able to do. With that being said, Gado trained his ninjutsu and nen abilities to be based on the concentration of his eye techniques.

"Ok, here we go!"

If anything, Gado was a genius of hard work. Maybe it was nothing mental like he had promised his parents of being a medical-nin that made a lot of money, but physical things were something that came easy and natural to him. In addition to that, the idea of working hard for someone like Gado wasn't as hard as he let it off to be. But still, the road of training his techniques was long and strenuous.

Even with a couple of days of training his eye techniques, Gado still felt like he had a long path to get to the certain stage he would figure acceptable."I'll reach it eventually as long as I continue this pace." But still, it would be nice if he had someone to train with. "

“So…”

Today was an interesting day: Along his travels, she found another Guardian that can use nen that goes by the name Kain, arrived in the dipu area, meet another band of traveling merchants that dealt with scrolls and he eventually found a temple that they were staying at. Kain was made to protect this group but he did say that he had a lot more information in regards to nen training and wanted to help Gado learn. With the divination and the methods to find out a person's current potential, Gado felt like he had a long way to go. Of course, he had claimed the temple as some sort of holy place, but she chose not to reside inside it. Gado had hoped that Kain didn’t elaborate too much due to the constant shaking he did whenever he mentioned that place.

Nevertheless, he assumed that he was in his own little world, trying to figure out his footings. Who would’ve think that he, herself was in worse position as he was not too long ago? Gado never really delves into her past, focusing on the scroll that he was borrowing that had a bit more information about nen that belonged to Kain. It seems that the guardian was pretty much happy with him sharing with another person and whatnot, making it a good thing for Gado. The wilderness lacked that sense of intellect for a long while and because of that, Kain was able to find some sort of meaning in the scrolls that the merchants were trying to protect. Permanent night, campfire going all it is missing was music. It was only words that suit this evening.

“To answer your question. I don’t know,” He's got a keen memory, but regarding the secrets of nen, not much. The crackling noise of paper being burned set the audible tone of the empty surrounding. “And besides, why do you think that some people consider delving more into nen is hell?” Hell…was a strong word. At least it was for Gado and he doesn’t entirely know why. He just felt that this was simple compared to the past He let out a sigh, staring back at the person in question before raising the scroll back up to read.

“They say that fire gives you a sense of nostalgia, maybe between reading and peering into it would you gain an understanding that works for you. ” the flicker of fire was enough to provide light at night and the stinging stench of smoke was enough to keep her occupied, that and the scroll. '

Gado listened to his words carefully, putting the book away once again. Of course, he will come back to it when everyone no longer interrupts him. The fire was flickering freely as winds failed to pick up. Kain made his response and it remains consistent as before. There was nothing out there. Nothing would come near me. Those were his words, but he added another line which he got hooked on.

Nothing that makes sense.

Gado had an idea on how to respond to it, but he chose not to. Talking negatively would do him no good and providing him an answer to his despair would only lock the door, so he chose to listen. His lone eye gazed at the fire, wondering if the fire really does spark nostalgia?

It didn’t.

Gado's mind eye closed briefly, letting out a long exhale with the warm air billowing through the cold. Even if it didn't help too much when it came to what he wanted to learn, the fire was soothing. "Oh, i think.... the fire is showing some words in the scroll.."

There were few things more inherently uncomfortable than a cold, lonely, disoriented sweat in the midst of a restful sleep. He had been awoken by more than his fair share of these throughout his days of joining the guards. This started to occur even more often, Gado wanted to understand it a little more through meditation. In fact, it all started when he focused on the welcoming approach line that was the introduction to all goalies. Of course, it was to stop people from turning into murderers and having internal arguments between them, but Gado thought there was more to it than that. It was about more than the training and mediation he was doing.

It's a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. Mental training is much more difficult to understand."

The dreams that came after each day that he trained, were not yet normal, thankfully - something so jarring never could be, except to the most exhausted and defeated of minds - but it was inching closer than his personal comfort would be willing to tolerate for much longer.

Whenever he made a mediation of battle for the approach of reception of the hermit, Gado's eyelids opened, suddenly his consciousness came back to him. His back and his chest would be soaked and the guardian style-covered sash clung to him like an insincere hug and he was immediately and acutely aware that the dream was over and he was now awake. These guys weren't the best, but they could also be far worse.

In some of his meditative states he would be in the midst of mundane tasks or going about his day and be tormented by dreadful and intrusive thoughts. Other times, it was a nightmare training, fighting the jagged corpses of his friends with resuscitated bodies and the simple purpose of taking his life. All their talents remained as he remembered them, and sometimes he woke up tired and vanquished.

"Perhaps it's just my imagination, but I should ask somebody."

He awoke just at one moment, groggy and disoriented, with nowhere close enough distance between him and the events of the dream. It was an endless list. At least the other terms took their toll and got over it.

There were dreams where he was running, screaming, sobbing, bleeding...dreams where the glory and the gore were all over him and no matter how fast he ran, no matter how fast his legs pumped, he could never escape it. These dreams ended the same way; with a beating, a beating of the chest and veins charged with adrenaline as he pulled in his bed, the chest rising to catch up. Of course, his body trembled for some time as the chemistry within him stabilized. But they passed by. These dreams stopped chasing him out of bed.

And once they finally stopped, Gado discovered he had experienced a real inner peace.

Through the time of his training, Gado had spent months and months on perfecting his techniques. Ths smoothness of his draws, the preciseness of his punches. There wasn't much time wasted when it came to gado's movements, at the very least, he kept by himself as he moved alone and trained alone. These kind of moments in his life was somewhat precious to him. However, they came with the fleeting desire that remained when he used to have someone to train him and guide him along the way. Those days were basically over, and it was up to Gado to find his own ninja way and master his own style. This took a while for him to get used to , as well as master. It took a bit of concentration for him to focus on his breathing, envisioning the opponent that he could be facing in order to properly utilize the taijutsu. However, in this little remote village that Gado found himself staying at for the time being, all that was really here was the peace and quiet, as well as the occasional bandits that Gado got to practice his skills on, that was basially a field day for Gado. A hefty meal for the people to be safe was a good deal for someone who wanted a remote place to practice his jutsu in peace. At this moment, Gado was busy practicing his taijutsu for quite some time while doing his breaks between mediation for welcoming approach. He wanted to be ready for the next thing that comes his way, the next obstacle or the next enemy that he might have to face in the end. The thought that practicing taijutsu while meditating at the same time.

Taking those movements into account with the positioning of his feet, tried to use one of those movements with moving forward in order to advance on the stone wall that he was practicing his punches on. It take a while to rebuild the wooden poles, so Gado went out of his way to push forward and give the technique a more powerful blow. Since Gado was simply using his strength this time around, he would push forward and then utilize the power of his blow for a more devastating effect. After the prep time of leaning forward in order to give the stone a strong punch. After each punch that he threw, Gado did a small prayer as if he was meditating or giving thanks. He did this for quite some time, using the welcoming approach technique along with using his taijutsu to increase his skills and get stronger. He still believed that it was possible for him to be able to increase in strength by training the welcoming approach and possibly finding himself a teacher that would be able to show him how to harness that energy. It wasn't like all guardians were nen users, and he became one through special means.

"oh....mmm..." It was his first time and in a way, it was special. But everything happens for a reason.

Things were going pretty good for Gado and he figured that it was time for him to receive something akin to a well-deserved break. "Alright, so I'm finally giving myself something Akin to a day off, maybe that means I could have today geared a little more too, me receiving some "me time" and maybe even meet up with some people. "With that being said, Gado decided to visit the town that he was supposed to save those few days ago. The town was going a little down under, with those who were resisting the new status quo being treated less than friendly by the people that were running the place over there. It seemed like those individuals were at their limits, but at the very least, Gado was ready and willing to take on the enemies that were terrorizing the town. However, there were a few things that he had to do to talk things over with the women.

As soon as Gado walked into town, he didn't want to have the feeling of having to watch his back every ten seconds, so Gado went off to form up a bunch of shadow clones to keep watch as he did his meditation procedures with a welcoming approach. It took a lot of time and energy to maintain focus, and from the people who came to greet him in the town, it felt like good news. "Alright, now that I have that in place, I also have a good feeling as to who is still left in the town. " If he wasn't being attacked, he was sure that the bandits didn't bother coming back and figured that dealing with Gado was more trouble than it was worth. However, he still maintained a steady pace of walking about through the use of his shadow clones before he came across the local bar.

"Hello?" Walking inside of the bar, it seemed to be fewer people, more individuals who wanted to drink away all of their troubles and forget about the mess that was going on at the time being. They seemed pretty merry and waved at Gado as soon as one of his clones walked in. With that being said, it was more than enough of a confirmation that Gado managed to do his job correctly and nip the problems in the bud. It was official, he had demobilized the bandit group that has been terrorizing the town.

"Guess I don't have much to worry about when it comes to sneak attacks then. Phew, that's a big relief for me. " Continuing his training, Gado thought that sing the shadow clone Jutsu while training in his welcoming approach meditation might be the best way to achieve enlightenment at a fast pace. By doing this, he would be able to gain enough momentum with his training since the knowledge and the experience that his clones have experienced would then transferred to Gado. Perhaps he would do this a lot more often? With some time, Gado believed that he would finally figure out the secrets to this mysterious technique and have access to the benefits that it provides.

Gado sighed, he was finally back in the guardian's main living quarters. The constant times of traveling became a chore to him at times.

Still, though, it was nice to get out of his comfort zone for a while. He hadn't realized how much he missed his home while he was gone. Watching the genin from the academy that seemed to be the new generation was nice. Gado felt old, even though he was only 16 at the time. Everything seemed to go so smoothly, and he had some high hopes for the new members. The chunin exams were a difficult thing to pass, sadly he hardly remembered how difficult his exam was. Most of it involved running around and losing, with a few wins. However, some mental training by simulating his hardest accomplishments and failures seemed to be the next step of cultivation for Gado.

"With how things went in the chunin exams with all of those talented individuals, I was practically invisible huh?" It was a little difficult to think back at that time in such a way, but Gado still maintained a positive attitude. While doing his mental simulations, he had been in madness for almost the entire duration of his revamp of the chunin exams, only slipping into consciousness occasionally, and in brief periods. He had no idea what to do with himself at that point. He recalled nervousness, a little bit of laziness, and the thought that the friends that he did have, actually weren't as great as he thought.

He didn't even know where to go from being Jonin, did he want to be a Sannin? A Head nin? A hunter nin? Would the promotions have been that straightforward if he had gotten an offer from the main shinobi force and the guardian shinobi didn't mention him at all? What if nobody said anything to him at all?

"......................"

But Gado remained appreciative of the opportunity that he received. Being a ninja for the daiymo was something that not many other have even gotten the chance to have, so he felt some honor there and thought that there must be something special about him that maybe other people have overlooked. Taking that into consideration, Gado wanted to always do his best for his employer. In his eyes, only a few adults believed in him, and even if he never met the daiymo in person, he thought of them as an adult. He, or she.

"That individual seems like such a mystery, but if I manage to master all of the techniques that are assigned as the guardian's special techniques, they would take notice and possibly be impressed with me, right?" With the cultivation that Gado achieved, as well as doing his daily routine of simulating mentally all of the previous fights that he had to go through great lengths to make some headway in getting closer to victory, he felt himself becoming even stronger in the art of the hermit.
