Vendetta had arrived in Sheol for about a week now along with her apprentice Judal and her potential second apprentice Jean, she knew that calling them apprentices were the functional title as she yet lacked the ability to preform baptisms to fully purge them of their sin. Thankfully however the two of them were children and thus considered innocents until they reached their respective ages of adulthood therefore she was able to save them and teach them the word of Kami without much issue. Currently she had sent word out to the two of them to meet her on the training ground so that they could train together as a team as she knew that eventually she would be taking them on missions to smite evil once they were adequately prepared, to that extent she had been reading up on both of them browsing through the library so that she could procure some scrolls she thought would be helpful for them to learn in addition to her own knowledge of the Holy Arts and the blessed scrolls which kept their knowledge.

She was looking forward to teaching them as she always did when it came to teaching people about Kami and would be a fair teacher not unlike her own being patient enough to realize not everyone progressed extremely fast while likewise being knowledgeable enough to push them when they had to be pushed to produce the best result possible.

Judal was holding a small knapsack full of the things that he needed the most. He was wearing a monk attire as he walked barefooted towards the training grounds that his sensei wanted to meet him. Judal had to speed it up pretty quickly this was going to be his first training with Vendetta and he didn’t want to be late. He was also excited on the techniques that he was going to learn . “Vendetta!” Judal would say as the 5’0 genin made his way over to Vendetta with a smile. Afterwards that smile would be exchanged for a more serious expression as he placed his hands together and closed his eyes. After a few moments, he opened his eyes and had his usual look once more. “Alright, I’m ready. Who are we waiting for?”

Vendetta would turn her head so as to regard her first apprentice Judal she would smile politely before answering his question, they would have to wait of course for Jean to get anything started but she could educate him in the meantime on certain things before she taught them both. We are waiting on Jean, he's my second apprentice. Vendetta said before motioning for Judal to follow her and sit on the arena floor once he did she would begin. Since Jean is late I will have to repeat this a second time after we pray but since you showed up on time I shall begin my instruction now. Kami in His infinite wisdom has seen what the damned can wrought on the mortal plane and has blessed his followers with the ability to call down his aid in the form of techniques. These techniques were passed down from generation to generation being known as Holy Arts having been kept a secret amongst those in the "Church" until now. The reason was to prevent the Maleficarum and Embodiments of Evil from knowing too much of their existence even no the average Acolyte would know nothing however most Acolyte Demons can recognized and rightly fear those who practice the Holy Arts. There are seven Holy Arts each one founded on the abilities of the Seven Archangels who are the highest enforcers of Kami's will. To us they are known as Monk, Paladin, Exorcist, Bishop, Prophet, Cleric and finally Savior Arts. This is what I will be teaching you in addition to utilizing them with your normal abilities as a shinobi I have made efforts to procure elemental techniques for you to learn alongside them. she said pulling out four scrolls from the pouches on her flak jacket with the Kanji for Earth, Lightning and Wind while the last had Archery on it being for her though she would teach either of them if they caught an interest with it.

Judal blinked twice as he wondered who the other apprentice was. “Oh so you mean that other person, or was it somebody else that I haven’t met before?” Judal was quiet for a moment as he sat in a passive position. He listened to Vendetta’s words, eyeing the scrolls and thinking about what he could be capable of. “I’ll try not to disappoint. The scrolls look cool but the holy arts seem like something of a trump card. How are we suppose find out which holy arts that we are compatible with the most? To rephrase, which holy art or arts would be good for me to learn?” That was an interesting question for Judal, finding out what worked for him and how well he could make it work for him. “Also, we are keeping our abilities a secret if we know any holy arts? “

Vendetta would nod to his first question before listening to the others making her think of the similarities between herself and Judal when she had first begun to become one of the righteous individuals working to exterminate evil. She had been lost unable to decide which of them she should learn and instead had focused on trying to learn each of them, it was still her end goal to master each one and perhaps she could gain access to Savior Arts the Holy Arts created through knowledge of the most powerful Archangel Michael. That is what I am here for, luckily for you I have on my person scrolls for each of the Holy Art styles but before that I will explain each one to you so that you can have a basic understanding of which one you might wish to utilize. But yes the Holy Arts are our trump card against Maleficarum and the Embodiments of Evil as some aren't even able to affect those who haven't been tainted by sin. It is for that reason I'd suggest not telling others about the Holy Arts until they have sworn their vows to join the "Church" for instance you are my apprentice and have been sworn into the "Church" so it is fine but telling others especially those with "Sin" is forbidden. The only time it is fine is if their is no other option and it must be minimalistic details as word can not spread about our abilities lest they try and counter it to that extent when you do us them make sure to exterminate every single enemy that has seen it none shall bear witness to Kami's power with the taint of sin and live to tell the tale. she said pausing to see whether he understood what she was trying to say and if he had any more questions before she would begin explaining each one to him.

The Holy Arts are divided into 3, Purification, Blessings & Judgment. These aren't official classifications but it's a simple way to tell the difference between them. Purification essentially means those Holy Arts which aim to rid the mortal shell of the Taint of Sin this can be done peacefully and painfully depending on how much "Sin" is within the target it also serves to heal us and replenish our allies power by reinforcing their faith in Kami. Cleric & Prophet are both members of that specific classification. Blessing essentially means those Holy arts which aim to fortify one's body and allies against corruption, restricting and creating sanctified areas where things with "Sin" can not step forth into lest risking their own demise or even simply being unable to enter at all. Monk & Bishop are both members of that specific classification. Finally Judgment deals with inflicting damage based on the amount of "Sin" within a target, punishing them for it and causing them intense pain and suffering in accordance to their taint Judgement varies however the strongest ones typically only affect those with "Sin" whereas the other two classifications can affect indiscriminately. Paladin, Exorcist & Savior are the members of this classification, any questions so far?

This was a lot of information to take in for Judal but he did his best to keep up with everything. “This church, can I get bit more information about it. I know that you and me and your other apprentice is now part of it but where exactly is it located? Is somewhere close to Hakagure? Or maybe there’s a temple in each area where we can pray and stuff? Find rumors and etc? “ Maybe this was a product of a child’s curiosity and imagination, but Judal always had the tendency to ask questions. “Also, as ninja, wouldn’t it be hard to judge other ninja in terms of good and evil? I mean, some missions could be seen as good from their perspective or point of view, and evil in others. What does that mean for us when it comes to ninja from our village or any other village? Are they seen as sinful?

Vendetta would nod before deciding to try and answer his questions the best way possible so that he wouldn't remain out of the loop for now sure she would serve as the go between separating the "Church" from her apprentice until at least he is ready to graduate from her apprenticeship to become a Missionary like herself. The "Church" is the congregation of Kami's devout worshippers. The main base is at the Temple of Kami which is within the ASC's territory on the Origin Continent however multiple satellite bases are scattered throughout the world as various missionaries set out to spread his word to the masses and exterminate evil. For now, I will act to give you missions and direct you where you have to go once you are deemed ready however you will become a full fledged missionary and be given the locations of certain bases which you are assigned to report to likewise you can go out and recruit to create your own if you are blessed enough to commune with Kami's word. Vendetta said before his second question caused her to pause as she tried to let him understand the difference between those who are tainted by sin and those who aren't.

Shinobi are...on the borderline of Good and Evil but that isn't what determines what is "Sinful" or not, Kami with His infinite wisdom has granted the members of the "Church" as well as all of those who worship him a strict set of 10 Vows of Righteousness as long as one adheres to them and does not break them not even once they will be free of sin. Those who break them are gradually tainted by "Sin" but there are various levels as you see "Sinners" can be saved and brought to salvation so can Blasphemers and the Corrupted however Maleficars are best exterminated as it is very difficult to redeem their Soul while Embodiments of Evil are permanently damned there is no salvation for them. Vendetta said pulling out a small book before giving it to Judal. This book contains the most important verses within the Bible the holy book of Kami's word written down by His prophets. Inside you will find the vows of righteousness as well as other powerful scriptures which will help you throughout battle and against being tainted by Sin. This is something you must read constantly do not simply memorize it no understand it, take it in let it become part of your very being.

If that’s the case I guess I should wait until I’m older then. Maybe when I get older, I would get stronger too. I wouldn’t want you to work too hard, but maybe our job takes away the chance of getting to relax and whatnot. “ Judal would say as he looks up to Vendetta with an earnest smile. Judal then proceeds to skim through the book and quickly looks back at Vendetta. “These vows, how many are you taking? They seem so hard to do for most people, but I think there is at least one vow that seems rather bearable and interesting. Well to me, because people who take this path aren’t like most people. I managed to learn that on my own….” Judal would say as he started to read the verse that interested him. “*My body is a temple*, does that mean I can’t eat junk food anymore? There’s this candy that I really like eating too, would that mean I would have to eat more healthily for now on? Also "Do not consort with Maleficars" if there is a stronger demon that I can’t manage to defeat by myself and I would have to do a strategic retreat , would that be considered as a sin?” One question was a bit silly and another was serious. After his questions were answered by Vendetta, Juda would put the small book in his chest pocket inside his clothes and sighed. “Can we start now? Vendetta would nod as Judal mentioned he'd prefer to wait until he'd get older she likewise had planned for that to happen as it was now he was young and did not know enough to truly allow him to florish in the name of Kami but as they spent more time together doing His work she was sure he had potential. Unfortunately we can not afford to relax Judal, every day Maleficarum and the Embodiments of Evil get one step closer to consuming the mortal plane in complete and utter "Sin" we are all that stands in their way. The 2nd Vow of righteousness dictates that you must not taint thy body with impure consumption, you can no longer drink alcohol nor smoke and most importantly you can not engage in sexual relations with those of the same sex as thyself. The 3rd Vow of righteousness however is more open to interpretation, we as missionaries have a duty to slay Maleficarum on sight to the best of your ability. Kami is not without mercy nor does he expect you to lay your life down unless you understand that by doing so you will indeed slay the Maleficar you are fighting, otherwise sacrificing yourself as a martyr will have no purpose if the Maleficar is allowed to remain alive in the process. Unless of your you preform the most noblest of sacrifices "No higher love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends". Vendetta said closing her eyes as she remembered her squad and Jared's sacrifice for her she was saddened but would steel herself and open her eyes once more to stare at Judal.

Indeed you are right he is more than just late, and such we should begin without him when he arrives he will have much to answer for wasting our time. Now then let me fully explain the arts to you deeper than what I originally said. I will go one by one and any questions you have please raise them each time I ask you so that you may understand each one thoroughly. First comes understanding then comes application I will not teach you until you understand exactly what you are doing do you understand? Vendetta said waiting until he confirmed before she would begin her explanation. The first Holy Art, Prophet Arts is based off of the Archangel, Gabriel's abilities and it was the first which started the creation of the "Church" as before Kami's worshippers were just that not organized and of course not a fighting force purging evil. Prophet's are able to view future events concerning Maleficarum and Embodiments of Evil, they are able to track their moves and motives, breech their minds to learn of their plans and in combat Prophets are deadly enough to be able to react to those with "Sin" by seeing glimpses of their future actions in real time. The more "Sin" their opponent possesses the easier it is for them and the more parallel futures they are able to glimpse. You see the future isn't linear no their are numerous parallel realities which can occur depending on the events occurring now in the present. Prophets use their future sight to identify which one is most likely to occur while their Prophecies always trigger upon the rise of a particularly powerful Embodiment of Evil who threatens the very balance of the world. Vendetta said looking into the air as she recalled knowledge she had received no more than just her all those who were connected with the "Church".

One of the reasons why we have begun spreading about, us missionaries, is because one of the Prophets at the temple of Kami gave a prophecy concerning Carmen Alexia Fushicho detailing how she would rise from being a powerful Embodiment of Evil into one of the Deities. It is she who is responsible for the rise of the Pandora Empire and until she is destroyed the threat will never truly end. Back to Prophets however their abilities are more than just viewing the future but rather they are capable of looking into the past of Maleficars & Embodiments of Evil that they slay, it is how we obtain missions and records of who are Maleficarum without even seeing them once. Prophets are the core of the "Church" as their duties are highly respected for information gathering and tactics concerning our war against Evil. Do you have any questions Judal?

“A few….” Judal always had questions, that’s just the way he was. “ I was wondering how kami felt about minor deity’s in general. Not to say that we need them to make our jobs easier, but the fact that if someone managed to achieve ascension to become a minor deity, but worked under Kami at the same time, wouldn’t that just make them an angel?” There were other things that were chewing at him as well. “Carmen Alexia Fushicho…. Fushicho….. hmmm, what a peculiar last name, clan? Well either way, the church has made it simple for us; we have to beat her in order to put an end to Pandora. Prophet arts are definitely something that we consider as useful to our cause, the future vents of evil. It would be interesting if they had the ability to predetermine someone’s future, if they had the potential to be something incredibly powerful and evil, but we caught them at an earlier time, wouldn’t that be a win for us if we converted them before it happened? Like me, so many bad things happened in my life and I felt lost before I met you, I wonder sometimes what would of happened to me if that wasn’t the case. “ Judal would then take a deep breath and give a final nod. “ Alright, I seem to have gotten the prophet arts down pact. I understand, what’s next sensei?

Minor Deities are...complex but that is a topic for another time but no Oni Angels are completely different from minor deities they were the first beings created by Kami and serve as extention of his will those who become minor deities steal their power from the Principle ones they are thieves hence why why are known as minor do not let that confuse you into thinking they are important as the scriptures tell us that while difficult they can be destroyed. Vendetta said before deciding to add one more thing so that Judal could understand something that most who saw Prophet's skills as useful. You must understand Prophets while powerful it is...difficult to perceive what one's future might be due to parallel futures, time is after all.. divergent. she said before nodding to put an end to that particular topic now it was time to get to the second of the Holy Arts.

The Second Holy Art is known as Monk Arts, drawn from the abilities of the Archangel, Uriel. Early on the "Church" realized that it couldn't deal with Maleficarum and the Embodiments of Evil yet they had nothing to truly use against them. So while they couldn't attack them they seeked Kami's guidance to learn how to bind them, restrict them and purify large areas that have been already blessed by Kami. These are known as Monk Arts, they involve mediums often using Materia that has already been blessed to set boundaries, despite being Purification based Monk Arts often can unleash the greatest amount of destruction across the largest area to those with "Sin". They can immobilize them, imprison them, prevent those possessed from escaping their hosts into a new body, restrict the entry of Acolyte Demon's into this plain as well as prevent those filled with Sin from breaching areas that are surrounded by the barriers created by Monks. Monks are what protect our bases with various blessings to ward off evil, in battle Monks are our protectors and those who need to first set up an area but once that is done can purge hundreds of Maleficars at once in a single swoop. Vendetta said with a smile as she remembered how a Monk had saved her life when she first began doing missionary work truly they were something to be feared with the right set up. Not really, I actually think that monk arts sounds pretty cool. Perhaps there is a few things that I would be able to do that could help you on missions and whatnot. “ Judal would think about all of the possible combinations that he could do with the monk arts. “Well, monks always have beads with them. Perhaps there could be this bead braces that I could use if I could get the church to create them for me. Each bead could have a seal or prayer inscribed on it to power up my holy arts or something, or give my regular jutsu the ability of having holy art properties. That sounds pretty cool……. What’s next!” Judal was honestly ready for some hands on training, but he decided to listen to all of the explanations first. “After this I want to do some hands on training, ok sensei?! Even though you have another apprentice, I want to be ahead of the curve!” Judal would say earnestly as he got a little jittery, looking forward to the lesson.”

Vendetta smirked as she too found Monk's pretty cool, however due to his impatience to do some hands on training she decided that she would skip to the one she felt that he would find more useful, they could always go back to explaining the others at another time of course. He was after all a child and it was good enough that he had been patient enough to wait through some of the explanations as such she would address his concerns first and foremost. I can see you are eager so instead of explaining them all I'll explain the third one and after that we will get to some actual training if you like Judal. But speaking of beads yes you are right about them having beads along with them, they are prayer beads which have been blessed by Bishops. Bishop Arts are the third holy art created after noting the abilities of the Archangel Raphael. It deals with the writing, tattooing, inscribing or carving the scriptures into things in order to imbue them with Kami's might. Bishops are front line fighters capable of utilizing tools and holy objects that they have blessed thanks to the scriptures to deal damage to those with "Sin". The more "Sin" a target has the more damage Bishop Arts do to them. However Bishops are perhaps the only missionaries who constantly battle between being Righteous and being tainted by Sin, you see Bishops often utilize Sin in order to empower themselves in order to bypass the defenses of Evil in order to deal even more additional damage at the cost of hurting themselves due to their techniques attempting to purify the Bishops themselves. Vendetta said looking quite solemn in all honesty she leaned towards Bishop tendencies but that was mainly because being able to inscribe objects with the scriptures was useful but she was never one to indulge in sinful activity for power and in all honesty she didn't want Judal to do so either.

You must understand that Bishops while they get power they risk damning their Soul and as such must undergo purification ceremonies routinely if they are to try and make use of it, I wouldn't recommend it of course most Bishops rarely ever try that method unless we are attempting to dispose of a particularly strong Embodiment of Evil as the ability to bypass defenses as a formidable boon to those who strike at the very soul of the enemy. In all honestly I'd recommend becoming a Bishop as another way to cleanse you of "Sin" would be to have a joint prayer session with one who hasn't broken any of the Vow's of Righteousness, aka myself. The Bishop Monk combination ultimately is very powerful perhaps even more so for you a Kaironokuma as you utilize Iron Sand and Pulse Release do you not? I have known of Kaironokuma who can shape metal into various things yet if while shaping them you likewise inscribe the scriptures into them you can have a constant defense even more so if they are made out of the same metal you manipulate in battle. though I'd recommend you switch over to Silver as soon as possible blessed silver at best. Vendetta said before looking at Judal and then her eyes would glance at the scrolls she brought for him.

It had been little over a week since he had arrived at the West Continent and during that short time span a lot had changed. For one he was no longer a missing ninja as he had sworn allegiance to the Shogun and now was a Shogunate Shinobi. In reality he could’ve cared less about the Shogun but he needed a fresh start and Vendetta had presented him with that opportunity. The downside however was that now he was Vendetta’s “apprentice” which meant his quest for power had hit a snag in the road, he wasn’t too sure about how he and Vendetta would get along in the near future as he had and was still looking to walk the path that she detested so much and he had no interest in going on her demon hunting crusade with her. But he was indebted to her and his pride wouldn’t let him leave her be without repaying that said debt.

“I’m heading out La Croix, I’ll be back soon.” He said addressing the Amatsu which was currently zipping back and forth the room, since Jean had forbidden her from leaving the room and heading outside. Having pretending that he was some regular old ninja around Vendetta he had been hiding La Croix in his room and covering his hands with gloves whenever he was around her which was a complete hassle. Though he could’ve simply admitted he was a Mikaboshi he felt inclined to keep up his little charade from the day they met for some strange reason. But there was no way he could hide La Croix forever simply due to the fact that she was getting restless being stuck inside the room, he’ll think of something eventually.

Having finally arrived at the training grounds, Jean spotted both Vendetta and the boy she had always had tagging along with her having some discussion, which was most likely about how to stop the demons from taking over the world. Without interrupting their little talk he would stand silently and waited for them to acknowledge him.

“Silver huh? I wonder when I’ll be able to make that? Hmmm… I guess the answer would come eventually. As for the bishop monk combination, that’s precisely what I’ll do if you recommend it for me. ” Judal would say as he looked down at the scrolls with an excited look. “Yes Sensei Vendetta, I’m ready to learn, steer me to the right path. I’ll use all that you teach me to defeat the Maleficarum and Embodiments of Evil. I might even learn something new, like pushing and pulling the iron sand and even the earth itself, but that can wait once I get past the basics first. You know, iron sand is very susceptible to poisons, but I wonder if I can soak holy water or something like that inside of my sand? That’s another good use of material to contemplate. Also, silver is effective against werewolves. I wonder if its especially effective against the other embodiment's of evil. i cant wait till you teach me how to make silver too! ” Judal would say as he turned his head and notice someone standing at a distance. “Ahh!! Sensei, it looks like he finally got of bed. “Judal would say, acknowledging Jean. “You sure missed a lot of information Jean, and that’s too bad because were doing hands on training now. So I hope you had a big breakfast!” Judal would say as he started to do some stretches, getting ready for the lesson. “But if you didn’t, candy bar?” Judal would say as be brought out a chocolate candy bar and offer Jean. “

Vendetta would turn to see that Jean had arrived, she was suspicious of him of course but he wasn't with Sin how did she know? She could see Sin after all she had sworn the Vow of Righteousness which allowed her to do so, he was still an innocent though she saw that he wasn't trusting like Judal was already was he doubting her intentions and she would need to be more persuasive if she wished to bring him over to her causes fully. As I was saying, Silver is ideal, if you can get into a habit of creating it and converting your iron sand into silver overtime and storing it for later use it can be a very effective technique. Do not think that because it's not something that is combat ready immediately that it is useless for the most powerful things in this world often require a certain degree of set up. Vendetta said with a small sigh before opening the scroll that she had labeled earth before reading it once more and handing it to Judal.

These are a series of earth release techniques all of which have to do with utilizing Earth Release chakra manipulation to affect the weight of either yourself or others since they all cover the same principles I decided to pick them up for you as they are very effective techniques despite not looking like so. Increase your weight and while you are slower you hit harder and resist knock back easier. Lighten it and you are faster, take additional knockback and your hits have less physical force behind them. Increase the weight of a target, now they move slower or if they don't have strength to move with the new weight of their body plummet to the ground immobilized by their own body, lighten targets and you can lift huge objects, assist your allies by helping them to move quicker to dodge and attack. Truly all three Earth Release techniques are extremely useful and it is to my understanding that the two of you both possess Earth Release correct? she said only taking a guess at Jean's as they hadn't spoken much but judging by his personality she pegged him from an earth user as well.

Jean couldn’t help but be amazed at the sight of Judal practically begging to be brainwashed by this woman, did he find her cause that noble? Or was he just blindly following her around? Personally Jean didn’t understood why she decided to take up the problems of the world unto her shoulders; in fact he found it quite stupid, but if they believed that they could single handled fight the war against demons and everything that embodied evil they should go right on ahead, just don’t expect him to throw his life away with them.

“Yeah, I have Earth.” He said flatly as if he wasn’t really interested in being there, which was the case. Taking the candy bar from Judal he would undo the wrapper and began chewing away. He wasn’t sure if Judal had the power to see in the future or not but he was quite right to assume that he didn’t have any breakfast this morning which was mainly due to the fact that he had trusted La Croix to go shopping for groceries but of course she found some way to mess that up as well, so now the house was barren, after this he’ll have to go do some missions to get some xel in his pockets.

Oh well, the sugar rush always wakes me up in the mornings. “ Judal would say as he got started on learning the earth style jutsu. “Well it definitely looks like something I could do if I put my mind to it. I contain earth chakra, just like jean. Hmm, fast opponents definitely seem to be a thing. The only problem that we would have involves initiating contact with them. There was this headhunter jutsu that I learned at the academy not too long ago. Maybe the pull-down when using it could be chained with the added weight, which also means that itll be much harder for the opponent to climb out of the ground, right? Besides putting a lot of weight behind your punches, that sounds like a good strategy too…If it works I mean…” Judal kept his enthusiasm up, already thinking about the possible combinations that he could have with the earth style jutsu vendetta provided.

Good good, but before I begin. Look Jean if you want to leave then leave I am not forcing you to stay. Understand that I brought you here because I felt you had potential even if you are obviously mistrustful of me and my agenda. I am not stupid after all and anyone can see your discontentment plain as day. Vendetta said her face becoming serious as she folded her hands over her chest she would turn to Judal before making a hand motion to tell him to go somewhere else for the time begin but just in case he didn't understand that she would tell him directly. He was pretty fortunate that they all had the same element as it made it much more easier for him to learn techniques that he would actually need for Shadow, Thread and Dark release, of course they didn’t know that. Stuffing the remaining of the candy bar into his mouth he would toss the wrapper on the floor and got ready for training but it would seem that he had rubbed his sensei the wrong way, unintentionally of course…. Well no he had made his feelings known ever since he had met her so it was of course fully intentional.

Are you truly or are you just saying that. Vendetta thought to herself before sighing and looking at Jean with a slight disappointed look deciding to simply move past his obviously rude personality and try to work with him. She would end up showing him how to be more open, even though Vendetta wasn't the object of sharing but at the very least she knew enough to heard others out and was polite to those she met in life. Going through life with that sort of personality especially in the potential line of work that she was shaping her apprentices to be in, it wasn't good one needed allies and couldn't do everything by themselves. Or perhaps he was content with alienating everyone and being alone if so then it would be a lonely road ahead as well as a dangerous one.

Well unlike Judal who I have a rough estimate of his skill level I do not know yours, let us spar for a bit so I can see at least where you are at in terms of combat capability. Vendetta said slipping into a loose combat stance and beckoning Jean to show her his stuff. She wasn't like other jonin sensei of course who tended to end up beating up their genin to show them humility no she just wanted to see where he was at so she could help him get stronger, as slaying the forces of evil was no task for the weak.

Now that that was settled, Jean would raise his head with a smirk on his lips. He could tell that she didn’t believe his little act but she didn’t seem to want to pursue the matter any further, which made sense seeing that it would be a great waste of his and her time. The young Mikaboshi was content with walking the lonely road as he believed he truly didn’t need anyone besides La Croix since they were practically inseparable and when they were apart he felt a strange hallow feeling in his chest, though that was something he would never admit to the useless weapon.

“If you insist sensei.” He said nonchalantly before taking his fighting stance. Though this was only a spar to test his capabilities, Jean was feeling a bit uncomfortable about the whole ordeal mainly because this was his first fight without having La Croix at his side, and to make matters worse he would be unable to use any Mikaboshi related techniques and that had crippled his chances severely… Though he didn’t expect to beat Vendetta but it wouldn’t hurt to go all out and impress his lovely sensei.

Taking in a deep breath Jean would release a high –velocity wind stream containing dust particles to obscure his sensei’s vision. He would then create a bow from earth and fired three sky arrows into the cloud of dust and two vortex arrows in the air in an attempt to ambush her if she decided to jump up.

Judal continued to do what he was told and minded his own business, but he did peak over his shoulder a few times to see what was going on. Judal never seen Vendetta fight before, he really wondered how powerful she was. The first time that Judal met her, she mentioned a bow. “Would that mean that Vendetta and Jean had similar fighting styles? Well, maybe I should get back to training by myself. I wouldn’t want to get yelled at or anything. “Judal would say with a shrug as he continued to focus his earth chakra in increasing his weight.

Vendetta would nod as they begun Jean quickly decided to be more strategic about the spar rather than rushing in, a dust cloud would form quickly obscuring Vendetta's vision causing her to move forward seeing to close the distance between the two of them. The impacts of arrows on her skin would do nothing but simply alert her to Jean being a projectile user and because they were made of wind she wouldn't know he was specifically an archer. Instead she would keep quiet attempting to see what Jean would do against an opponent resistant to conventional damage who is moving in close to him.

Once she got close enough while moving at bullet release speeds she would take out the hammer part of Kabutowari before crouching down and tapping the ground with it resulting in a crater along with potentially knocking everyone, bar her off their feet. She would never use Kabutowari on her students of course it was just her method of determining where exactly Jean was since the dust was in the air. If he stumbled, then she'd be able to use that to hear him and thus use it to her own advantage. In order to locate where exactly he was.
