Ka Retreval Arc. [Mt. Lucid (Interior)]

Why they were so hell-bent on clinging on to their insignificant lives was beyond them, but no matter how hard they struggled their lives will end here and this cave will be their tomb. Though it was quite annoying how they refused to be crushed like the cockroaches they were, it was admirable how they were able to keep alive this long, they truly were like cockroaches. Melinda getting bored of this game of cat and mouse would halt her Roga in mid spin, causing her fall backwards. Positioning herself properly she would use dashing forward to head down the cave for one of two reasons, she needed her weapon so that she could end the life of these losers so the moment she had caught wind of the weapon, which had a combination of her and Miguel’s scent, she headed towards it that and the mist had reappeared so she knew that she would need to head downwards to get out of its range. While she was heading downwards covering 15 feet in almost in an instant, she would use B rank worth of her chakra to replenish some stamina.

Miguel’s clone, however, would continue the assault and headed straight towards Calesto who was now charging towards them, the syrup he released would have little effect due to the scorch release chakra that enveloped it instantly evaporating the syrup that was aimed at him and Melinda. Liara’s attempt to rid her boyfriend’s body of Miguel’s bodily fluid was admirable but since he had pissed all over Calesto’s right side of his body that meant that some of his piss had landed on Calesto’s skin of course considering he was probably not wearing any gloves on his hand to protect him and he was pretty sure that Calesto wasn’t wearing a long sleeved shirt so there would be piss all over his arm, that was just an assumption anyways but hey there was no specification. Either way, the clone would match Calesto’s speed as he looked to collide with the runt. Letting out a roar, the clone relished the moment where it would drill a hole through his gut.

The real Miguel would follow his sister’s suit and made his way down towards the Melinda, albeit not covering the same amount of ground she was able to. In truth he had grown tired of his sister deliberately toying with their opponents, in fact, this was something that she generally did whenever she fought someone and it was because of this bad trait was why she had lost the leadership to Orion. Sadly he was her enabler as he never complained out loud about this which is probably why she continued doing shit like this. Though judging from the air of seriousness that she was now emitting maybe, this time, it’ll be different?

Thanks to the rubble collapsing on the second sub level, the Ceanataur was now free, hooray! Yeah right. Still in its shell, the creature would fall down to the third sublevel that was completely covered in sand. But in truth is they didn’t care much for the useless thing.

Below on the third sublevel, there would be a delex shifting through the sand having answering Miguel’s primal call, there had also been giant weapon stuck in the sand that had almost skewered it, but it seemed that luck was on its side. It would continue to shift through the sand, however, waiting for something interesting to happen.

Calesto would watch as Miguel would send a clone in their direction continuing with the spinning attack that he was almost certain would have made anyone throw up by this point, with the constant spinning and all. Like hell he was almost getting dizzy just watching the guy spin pretty much the entire fight, but none the less the Clone was making a b-line right for the merged couple at an incredible speed. The syrup seemed to evaporate off the spinning clone which honestly did not surprise him in the slightest, however one thing did happen that scared the ever loving shit out of him. Liara was currently in his body merged with him at the cellular level, and this guy was coming right at Cal's body with every intent to kill the two making him feel helpless to do anything about it while he was in the air. There was nothing he could do about evading the attack as he wasn't entirely sure that using the body replacement would work even though the two were joined, just as the duo would inch ever closer to the clone a new feeling started to wash over him, well maybe not new, but uncomfortably familiar feeling that he had felt before. Primal Rage.

If anyone was paying attention to Cal's body they would notice his eyes changing color to resemble that of a Midigron, His ears changing shape to a point while a bushy tail seemed to sprout out of the back of his pants. For some reason now his vision seemed to get worse as all the color around him seemed to fade away to a dull grey, while at the same time the beings around him the three targets seemed to be standing out in the darkened area by almost seeing their body heat from within them. Well all except for the mist girl. That's when Calesto would return a similar roar back to the clone who was about to make contact with him, only this time he would drive both his bone sword into the clone while at the same time pulling out the diamond Kunai Summer had given him prior to the fight, only to drive that into the clone as fast as he could (without lightweight tech from Liara is A rank, with liara's tech Ripping Discord). If Liara was truly merged with him she would feel his blood boil from the intense rage, and something else.......Hunger. "I WILL FEAST ON YOUR FUCKING ENTRAILS!"

Unlocked:

Due to the fact of liara being a cellular medic, her special condition with calesto allows her to monitor Calesto’s vitals and the condition of his body. Due to the fact that she sensed something going wrong and the fact that calesto blood pressure was rising. On the safe side, liara removed the light weight technique to restore calesto to normal levels. Basically, she took it off before calesto went off and experienced some really bad recoil, along with this being the second and last post of calesto’s sustained heal of recoil internal damage , c rank to be exact to be regained this turn. Liara was starting to be on her last legs, but she didn’t want to be too desperate. The bees that were heading towards the exit was actually not acknowledged and continued to try the old strategy of confusing the other users. The bee hive that was heading over to the turtle minotaur turned around and headed towards another exit, she needed a scout at least upon the way out. Two more swarms came about to rub off of the smell and spread out.

As she approached the third sub-level, Melinda would perform a quick summersault so that she would land on her to feet upon landing not using her full strength though as then she would have another collapse on her hand. She would also sustain D rank worth of physical damage due to the height she was falling from up that was the least as her curse mark would simply heal that minor damage away. “There we are my lovely.” She said with a grin as her green hues laid upon her weapon, she would also notice something shifting through the sand, however, she didn’t care much about it as it was basically useless to her cause at this time. “Whenever we actually need some assistance, we get useless shit like you two.” She spat angrily before kicking the Ceanataur back on its stomach as it somehow managed to land on its back and got stuck, she would then proceed to sit on its shell as she pondered her next move. She knew it would’ve been better to finish these blokes off now, but she had yet to see what they were capable of, well she knew they were capable of dodging but other than that they showed nothing… promising. “Mavis and Ananse should be dead by now so that leaves us, Kendell and Orion left. I wonder if the trash woke up as yet.” Melinda thought out loud as she looked at the Delex that was staring at her for some reason, fucking useless shit, it was as if the random creature gods wanted to spit in her face. As she was about to kick the Delex in the head, the smell of piss caught her nose. She had known the scent as it was her brothers but why was it lingering in the air? Her answer would immediately be answered as a piece of torn clothing would fall on her leg. Not worrying about that or the insects buzzing around as the only thing they would be finding in this cave would be death. Melinda waited on Miguel to make his way down to her, hopefully things would start to get interested, especially after hearing that very violent outburst.

Well wasn’t this an interesting development. Though he had somehow managed to get off his rocker during the fight this would change nothing as he wasn’t fast enough to stop Miguel’s clone from slamming into him, well not anymore since the technique was lifted from him. As such the clone would ram into Calesto’s chest at blinding light like a battering ram hitting a feeble door, shredding him with A rank strength thanks to his Scorching Armor he was currently coated in. The clone would look to use his superior strength to push Calesto into the nearby wall, grinding him into nothing. If Calesto had attempted to even use a replacement technique, the clone would ensure that it would quickly track him down to perform the same maneuver again.

Though it had taken awhile, Miguel had finally arrived on the third sub-level. Landing on all fours, he would also receive damage due to the length of the drop, however he would also shrug it off thanks to his curse mark. Miguel would left out a sigh seeing that his sister was just sitting around doing nothing. This was mainly the reason she had lost the leadership to Orion, but of course this would never be something he’d say out loud since he didn’t want to piss her off. Though pissing her off would probably be a good thing to do at this point. Cracking his neck, he would analyze the creatures that had assembled thanks to his primal call, not bad but he knew that Melinda saw them as useless. But considering majority of their fight was done in midair like they were all in dbz or some shit so of course they were useless. Though he wanted to ask what the plan was now, he knew that it would be best to wait, especially after that outburst from the kid. Ninja must have lost a screw or something. Leading the boy to them would enable them to deliver the finishing blow that was if he survived the clone’s assault that is.

Stuck on its back the Ceanataur would fall into depression. Why did he answer that call was beyond him, now they he was stuck on his back unable to get up, all he wanted to do was go home back to his wife and kids. Thankfully the scary looking woman would flip him over although it was with a kick that could’ve hurt him and proceed to take him as some sort of chair. Letting out a sigh he hoped that someone would take him out of his misery soon.

The Delex would reciprocate the feelings of the Ceanataur due to the woman who seemed to have summon him was an ultra bitch. He had half a mind to leave right now but due to technical reasons he was inclined to help atleast the giant dude seemed cool.  

Miguel and Melinda:

Miguel Clone:

Armen headed towards the cave after splitting up with the rest of the reinforcements. He did his best to stay focused but all that did was raise his anxiety level. What kind of foe could’ve done that to the poor lady that he had last saw? This wasn’t one of his playground school fights. In fact, he hasn’t been in a situation this serious since he fought alongside Decimus and Himiko to become members of team 6.  They were forced to use lethal force or else they could have been three casualties. At least that’s what his sensei had them believe. This situation wasn’t the same, but the feeling was similar. If he wanted to get back alive, he would have to be spot on. He would have to do whatever he could, maybe even display capabilities beyond his rank, but what he couldn’t do is choke.

It wasn’t long before he arrived at the entrance of the cave. Before going in he would assess the area. It was still dark out and the moon light would illuminate the cave, from what he can see from the outside. Although the cave itself was still a bit dark.  So as a precaution Armen would channel chakra throughout his body and stomp the ground outside. As his foot hit the ground and explosion could be heard from inside the cave. Armen stood there shook as this has never happened when he used this technique before.  Clearly the explosion had to have been caused by a survivor from inside the cave, but if anything the explosion had masked the sound of his foot stomp incase the people he was after had super sensitive hearing. Masking himself wasn’t really the objective though, he mainly needed an extra sense on things, so he’d know which direction to go. As he bravely entered the cave he could hear rumbling and floor levels breaking as the sounds echoed throughout.  He would walk in until he was at the point that all he could hear coming from below threats being screamed out in the most terrifying tone of voice. “Welp, dat clearleh aint da guy im pose to be helpin out”, Armen would think to himself knowing at this point the battle still continues from below.  One last time he would close his eyes as a slight smell of piss would go by him, with the sound of bees.  He couldn’t help but have another thought of, “wat da hell is goin on down der”. As he remained with his eyes close he would send his thoughts out to his family, sensei, and Himiko as if they’d ever be able to receive them. “I love ya guys, if I culda said anytang befo I left. It’d be dat, I aint scared no mo”. As he would complete his thought he would charge forward kicking his right leg into the air to perform a cork screw. This he would do without really making much more noise than what was already going on down there.  During the cork screw he would rematerialize a few weapons into each hand and end the trick with a dive. Just as his body positioned for the dive he’d create a strong burst of wind chakra and activate an armor of his own, The wind release chakra mode.

He would fly down towards them at A+ speeds. On his way down he would place chakra and some blood on the weapons in hand. It was then he would see someone with a village head band that he’s familiar with get hit by what seemed to him as a large drill. Armen would use his futon shift technique to cause a second burst of wind to push him down ten feet closer for a better view. The person seemed enraged as the drill would drive him closer towards a wall. Armen would quickly line his shot and as he spoke he’d release the weapons in his hands. “Luk lyke ya need sum help der patnah!" As he said this one boomerang would be seen racing past the clones from behind heading down at S rank speed. At this point in time Armen was about 30ft in and roughly ten feet or a bit less, above Calesto. The clones seemed soo focused on the target as they moved S rank speeds into calesto that they probably wouldn’t be too concerned by weapons flying past them at the same speed, when they aren’t the target.  One thing that would tip the off about the boomerang is the loud whistling sound and the gust of wind that they can feel from the weapon as is zoomed pass about 8 ft behind them.  If they did somehow feel it pass by it could serve as a warning to Melinda and Miguel since the weapons were heading towards them.  But knowing does come at a price, rendering the clones immobile for a few moments. If he could, Armen would fly passed calesto and the clones towards Miguel and Melinda.  One boomerang would whistle loudly towards Miguel and Melinda at S rank speeds having traveled a total of 45ft from the 30ft that Armen had released it, giving it 15ft of extra coverage than needed for the weapon to get to the two of them. From 30ft away the two foes could tell that the weapon was 1 boomerang whistling towards them horizontally and aimed straight for their heads, due to a shift of wind. Two birds one stone as the expression goes, having already lined up his shot to make it possible.  Probably just a second after more small bursts of wind would come out of two kunais thrown as well. Those kunais however were not aimed at Melinda and Miguel, but rather at different walls of the third sublevel where Miguel and Melinda were.  These kunais were firmly stabbed into these walls distancing about 40ft from each other. If the two were the observant type they would notice a barrier was set up in the shape of a triangle covering a 80ft diameter leaving the two with only 20ft of room to move. Though it seemed like the barrier was in the shape of a triangle, the third point was hidden.  As seconds go by an observant eye would notice that the triangle barrier seemed unsure of its shape or what type of triangle to be since it seemed to be shifting. Where ever the third point was, Armen was sure to set up a trap so it wouldn’t be easily taken down. Armen using the speed granted to him, would keep himself at a dive and then turn off his wind release chakra mode to preserve his chakra but still be dive falling at A+ speed or a bit less.  He didn’t seem too worried about his fall or incoming attacks but he did stay on guard doing and completing some quick hand seals, hoping to land on the third sub level next post.

Calesto would let out another roar as the clone would collide with his body, only to disapear in a cloud of smoke, his body replaced with a boulder as he himself would appear twenty feet below his current location. Another scent would enter the battle field which seemed to only aggravate the kurogane further as he knew he would have to end up killing this poor soul as well, however not until he had dealt with the two pains in his ass from before. So as his body would show up entering the second sub level, Calesto would throw the diamond kunai towards Miguel at vacuum speeds as he sprouted another bone sword from the palm of his hand. He could hear the weapons the new comer had thrown towards the targets, which made him only briefly thankful for the interventions, however after these two were dealt with he would personally enjoy ripping the new guy to shreds.

This was starting to become more of a nuisance for Lira, she was losing Calesto with each passing second. "Calesto kun, please get a hold of yourself. "Liara would say this inside of Calesto, a voice that couldnt be heard from anyone but him, due to the fact that he didnt extend her lips out from calesto's body to speak. Hopefully she could reach out to the calesto she knows and cares for deeply. " Please, don't let the rage control you..." She tried, and at the same time,she had to deal with the clone. There was two bees that were unaccounted for, trying to throw off the clone, but this time, liara manipulated them at b rank speeds to surround the man as he continued to tail calesto. With him attempting to intercept the bees would converge and detonate , two swarm sets i order to create a b rank explosion to slow down the clone and damage it. On top of that, liara squeezed out her hand and there another Fuma shuriken.

Inside of calsesto, she continued to fight, and try tor reason with him. Cale wasn't well, she had to bring him to saftey if he couldn't control himself. She was almost done though, and then she wouldn't be useful to anyone.

Though they now had a greater advantage over Melinda and Miguel thanks to the introduction of the reinforcement, this fight was far from over. This time we’ll be starting with the happenings near Miguel’s shadow clone, Armen’s attempt save his fellow shinobi was commendable but futile, why? Because it would’ve been near impossible for him to be witnessing anything that was going on as there was a mist covering the entire second sub level, so the fact that he mentioned witnessing Miguel’s clone attempting to drill a hole in Calesto and that he had managed to pick out Calesto’s headband through the mist must have been him suffering from some sort of hallucination or some side effects from sea sickness he probably experienced on the boat trip over here. Also the moment he was within 10ft of the second sublevel, as he stated, he would already be within the thick of the mist as such was improbable that he was able to pick out Miguel and throw his boomerang past him as he had no idea where the clone was since he was relying on sight as such his thrown weapons, both boomerang and kunais would miss their intended targets completely, possibly just hitting some falling rubble, thus not being able to fulfill their intended purposes making his blind dive into the fight not only a waste of time but also a waste of chakra and probably managed to trap himself and his allies in the barrier he was trying to create and possibly getting hit by the explosion caused by Liara.  

The clone had regrettably missed its target as Calesto opted to body replace instead of facing his death like man, s stated previously the clone had wished to hunt Calesto down like the dog he was if he had tried to body replace and would’ve done so too that was until of course someone else had joined the fray. Unfortunately for Armen the clone didn’t need to see through the mist as it was able to pick out his putrid scent, so the clone would halt the Roga mid spin and decided to change his target to Armen. The clone would head towards the new guy at Vacuum release speeds looking not only to rip him to shreds. Since the bees were trailing him, he would ensure whatever they had plan would affect Arm as well, as such as they detonated Armen would be hit with a B rank explosion and quite possibly by the Miguel clone as well due to the explosion pushing him faster.  Not only that, he was now possibly trapped thanks to Liara’s explosion.

This was getting old, Melinda thought as she sitting on the back of the crab thing. She had been recovering her stamina for quite some time, but it was high time shit started getting wrecked especially since they had some reinforcements here. Sacrificing A rank worth of chakra to recover some more stamina, Melinda would hop off the back of the crab and did a little stretch. What she should do right now is to go all out, but she wasn’t going to give them that pleasure until the provided themselves worth of dodging this. “Oye, Miguel we’re doing that, best that you take your original form.”  She ordered tossing Miguel the weapon so he could put it back in its holster. Her green hues would land upon the kid popping out of the mist and his timing couldn’t have been more perfect. Enveloping herself in lighting, launching herself into the air at crashing ground speeds Melinda would start spinning a ferocious spin as she waited for her “brother” to join her.

“Finally, I was getting tired of this cat and mouse game.” Miguel said in a language that was only understood by Melinda and the animals that were basically spectating. Miguel would undone his transformation and donned his true form, a Midogaron, he wasn’t your average sized Midogaron however as he was perhaps three times the size of his species, which was all thanks to the God Queen herself. Coating himself with scorch release, Miguel would roll a ferocious roll towards Melinda. The two would combine together creating a lighting clad buzz saw surrounding by a scorching miasma. The combined technique would traveling towards Calesto at Vacuum release speeds and should signal the end of the boy, unless he had some means of blocking such an attack, which they doubted or some means of avoiding the attack in midair, which judging by what she’d seen earlier he had no means of maneuvering in midair.

Let’s break this down. Our man, Armenezra came in hot and brave, but may have been a bit delusional.  He believed he saw some things that wasn’t quite so. I mean being in a hidden mist your paranoia will definitely be on high. Many shadows he’d perceive passing by was probably light tricks messing with him. He couldn’t explain it but definitely the mist had completely messed up his visual perception, but not his hearing and not his throwing. It was true that he wouldn’t be able to line the shots to hit any target yet alone multiple targets. Fortunately, for this young-ling hitting the target wasn’t his goal, his only real goal was to release his weapons and have them go the distance, all the things which not being able to see didn’t have an effect on.  So let’s begin this break down.


1) As mentioned in my post earlier Armen came into the cave hearing the battle from below the entrance, of screaming caused by Calesto entering his second transformation.  He would enter the mist flying downward at over A+ speeds. Flying not falling, the difference not so important for this bullet point. Once ten feet into the second sub level, Armen could not see but Calesto got hit, Armen would not see that, but calesto would substitute and Miguels clone would go after Armen with Vaccum speeds. Armen at the time was moving faster than vacuum speeds when he released his weapons, but here is the point. By the time that Miguels clone would change its target to Armen and charge him at vacuum speeds Armen was already well in process of releasing his weapons at S rank speeds. Miguels clones would catch up to Armen, and the second Armen’s arm would swing, the clone would most likely be within 10ft of Armen who is racing down at A+ speed.  Once in ten feet the clone would be frozen still as it fell into his Genjutsu Whistling Winds.  The weapons would not hit the clone but it would race down with Armen as the clone’s petrified body would free fall.

2) During this time Armen wouldn’t even notice the clone falling but Calesto would be going on ahead and Liara’s bees would cause B rank explosion. Fortunately, again, Armen’s kunai’s weren’t able to hit designated targets but it wouldn’t have stopped it from being able to go the distance, but much like mentioned in Xiao’s post the aim would be off meaning that what was meant to be a even 40 /40 distance due to hitting rubble they made it 30/50. Still good enough since Armen had already paid the set-up fee in chakra and much like in Xiao’s post, he acknowledged that the barriers are up. But his understanding of what the barrier does is whats off. See Armen’s patented shielded fighting style makes it that the shape of the barrier capable of change and the reason for that is that the way the barrier is set up is through weapons. The weapons are the markings and the third mark is always in his pocket. So when the explosion happened, the petrified clone would be destroyed because it wouldn’t be able to use its spin move to protect itself or harm Armen, not that it would do to the barrier’s ability. So the clone is definitely destroyed since being in closer proximity to Armen secures its trapping in the Genjutsu and the explosion seals its fate. Because of barrier’s ability Armen does not suffer damage from the explosion.  Any ruble closing in to trap Armen would fail because during this time Armen was moving faster than falling ruble.

3) As promised Armen would be at the third sublevel by this post but long before Armen and Calesto would get there his boomerangs would. Now as far as his boomerangs hitting the opponents, that’s a definite improbability.  The boomerangs were meant to go their full 45ft, but because they couldn’t be angled to face the opponents head, the weapons landed off 15 feet from what he intended. Meaning his weapon was not on target and physically wouldn’t be any threat to Miguel and Melinda. But as mentioned before, hitting the target was never the plan. The plan was just to release the weapons so they can go their distance, and if lucky hit the target. The weapon took 10ft at S rank speed to enter the third sub level (35). The weapon traveled 15ft into the third sub level(20ft), 5 ft passed the targets (15ft remaining), then the weapon hits ruble (0ft remaining).  Meaning that Miguel and Melinda would be in a 5ft radius of the weapon.

4) So a few things happen here, by flying passed the opponents or from the time they’re within the 5ft radius of the boomerangs, they’re within 5ft range for the Whistling Wind technique to trigger.  Had the opponents moved this may have been different, but the opponents didn’t move until they’ve caught sight of Calesto but the weapons came in way faster and would show up way sooner than calesto could being that after body replacement he came in at D rank speeds entering the second sub level (check his post) and the weapons were traveling at S rank speeds.  Not only did Miguel and Melinda find themselves in a Genjutsu, instantly a giant eight-foot-tall angel with massive wings would cover the two protecting them from Calesto’s diamond kunai, but rendering them even more immobile than before. For one whole post they are immune to all attacks, but they cannot move, they’re immobilized by both the genjutsu and the saving grace technique. This affect was triggered because they both were in 30ft of Armen’s weapons and Armen had completed his hand seals from last post. By the way LawngDee and PhatDee traveled the same direction. Phat Dee was the one with the Saving grace set up.

5) Armen would enter the third sub level to find them there saved, but immobilized within a genjutsu. He would use futon shift to push him towards the wall 10 ft and land standing foot planted on the wall looking up and straight at Miguel and Melinda. He kept his guard up for whatever comes, but he knew that those were Miguel and Melinda for sure because nothing happened prior to block the weapons besides maybe some ruble which did knock their target off a bit as Armen had noticed. Good thing he had placed ranged based effects on the weapons knowing that even being a good shot, that he often misses or gets blocked, especially if he can’t see. He would use futon shift in order to call back his LawngDee as now he knows the fate of his Phat Dee. As Calesto would come into the fight on the third sublevel, only the centaur would attempt to blow flames at him.   Aye, watch out! Armen would warn him about the flames. Whenever Calesto was safe he would explain the plan to him. Luk hur, ya gots only one shot at takin dem out ya hurd. I no exactly how long dis barrier gunna last so wen I tell ya, ya got to strike. Naw I dun placed dem under a genjutsu and dey can’t move either way to use a jutsu to break outta it, but regardless ya need to strike fatal, cause a brutha tryna see his family, aint no room fo mistakes.” Armen stayed on guard with his LawngDee ready. By the end of Xaoi’s post he will have given calesto the trigger to go and claim his kill.  This means Melinda and Miguel never got to do a move.

Calesto would let out a roar when his nose picked up the scent of a Midogaron on the battlefield, becoming infuriated that he hadn't picked up the scent before now, his sense of smell was usually on point with these kinds of things. So now fueled with even more rage the boy would place his foot on a falling rock and push off with Vacuum speeds, running from falling stone to falling stone until the two were within range. Although their proximity was tiring out the boy, he started to transfer some of his chakra to Liara just in case he wasn't going to last much longer in this fight. He could feel his body starting to break down from the transformation that he was in, so he would have to make these next few moves count. So when the four fighters would get closer to each other, Calesto would preform the same counter attacks that he had done before. Bones would shoot out of his body in hopes to pierce the skin of the two's spinning attack, his blood lust was now starting to peak as he now wanted to skin Miguel alive and were his pelt as a new coat. At this point Cal would pop out another bone sword out of his free hand and begin another Camellia strike on the two who would hopefully be struck by his protruding out of his body, aiming the blade tips at the eyes of his opponents dealing eight strike at Vacuum speed (Two bone swords out, so double the damage).  He hoped that this attack chain would work on the opponent. It was then that the new guy would speak up loud enough that everyone in the cave would be able to hear his plan about trapping the two in a barrier. Just what kind of fool would just outright say his plan like that?  Then again he thought it was weird that the duo had seemed to be unphased by the daimond Kunai that had struck them, he just hoped that Summer's tool wasn't a complete waste.

It was really hard to assess the current situation right now, involving the losing feeling of Calesto’s mental capabilities due to the man being somewhat enraged after the transformation. Ontop of that, they seemed to have a new ally, but Her actions really ruined whatever that Ally had in store. Howe could of this happened?” …..how could I have messed up so bad?” Which definitely made Liara quite upset. She had to do something, even though it meant that it would hurt her in the process. Following claesto’s lead, she would also bring out her legs in order to do some sort of tornado like movement, as well as bringing out her arms and striking in unison with Calesto. The pain was quite endurable and it felt as if she haven’t received damage like this for while because she was hiding inside of Calesti tgis entire time. “So this is how he feels every time he uses those techniques? It must be unbearable for him at times. “What kind of decent human being could say that they have gotten so used to pain, pain is never going to feel good in the end. “Liara felt bad for him, but she had to focus on the fight. IN the meantime while Liara was carrying out a frontal assault along with calesto, she had decided to rsk it all and send out 20 swarms, composed of abut 10,000 ninachi , for each swarm, there was an equal swarm of larve that the adults were carrying, to cover them. Afterwards, the adult wold make their way back to liara as soon as he dropoff was finished. The larve swarms would converge on the bodies at b rank speeds, there would be a total of 2500 of larve on Miguel and Melinda. The assaults in the front were powerful, but they were only a distraction a liara used the forbidden chart of armens technique to prevent the ninachi from being destroyed while she simultaneously performed the assault. In the meantime, the ninachi inside the body would start to sip on the chakra of both siblings, 1 b and d rank amount of chakra In the meantime. The ninachi were free to do their job as they latched on.

Preparing itself for its attack, the Delex nearest to the woman would wait until Miguel and Melinda had launched their attack so it could use their attack as cover so it could successfully hit them with its own but for some strange reason, they weren’t moving. “Hey they’re right there why aren’t you doing something?” The Delex called out to Melinda who was just standing there with a dumb look on her face.  Getting pissed at the dumb broad, the Delex would bite Melinda’s leg twice inflicting two counts of C rank damage to her. If that didn’t wake her up out of her dumb trance nothing would.

The second Delex that had answered Miguel’s call would reveal itself as it stuck its head from out of the sand. Shifting through the sand under the large creature, the Delex would notice that the animal that called for him was not moving at all, which was odd, to say the least. What was the point of calling out for assistance when you had no urge to fight in the first place? Confused about this entire ordeal, the animal would hear the cries of the other Delex that was in the area and witnessed it attacking the other woman. Talk about harsh. Then again based on what had happened after words it might have been necessary. Following the lead of its comrade, the Delex would bite Miguel twice as well inflicting two counts of C rank damage to him.

This was the Ceanataur’s time to play hero, well more like stall until everyone was back to their normal selves anyways. The Ceanataur was still in play here and while Miguel and Melinda’s attempt to rip Calesto into shreds had failed, the Ceanataur’s flame thrower attack was still active and thus Miguel and Melinda would be set ablaze unless they had C-rank Endurance/Defense Tiers or D-rank Chakra/Endurance+Defense Tier Chain. Regardless they would receive B rank fire release hybrid damage and Liara’s attempt to release the bugs would end in failure as they would be burnt to a crisp.

Snapping out of his trance thanks to the Delex, Miguel would look up to see the now burning Calesto heading towards him. Regrettably there wasn’t enough time to actually dodge the attack so it would hit on, in some sand. Thankfully he had the Body Replacement technique to save his ass in the event that something unforeseeable had happened, like a while ago, and he was able to successfully evade that technique that looked vaguely familiar to his move. Anyways, the moment attack had missed Miguel would fire a stream of piss towards the eyes Calesto which would require him to have B rank reaction to avoid the piss in his eyes that was coming towards him at Crashing ground. Successful or not, Miguel would create a second shadow clone, which would wait on Melinda’s command.

Why am I not moving?? Melinda thought to herself as she tried with all of her might to move her body but was unsuccessful. It was bad enough that she currently stuck in place with numerous kunai heading towards her to turn her in a shish kebab but she had to listen to that stupid sand fish mouthing off. If it wanted to do something why the hell didn’t it attack whosoever was attacking them? Oh, that’s right it’s a fucking useless sand fish! While she was busy being angry at the world, as usual, Melinda would feel a sharp in her leg causing her body to regain mobility and the kunais to disappear revealing the Calesto kid and some other kid that appeared out of nowhere. “That….was a genjutsu….” Melinda muttered under her breath as her right eye started twitching uncontrollably. She hated genjutsu, it was a cheap trick used by little shits who were weak, like that fucking bird brain Kendell. “I’m…going… to fucking kill you!” The sound of bones breaking would echo throughout the cave as Melinda’s body started convulsing violently.  Her skin would begin to melt away and form a puddle of blood and rotting flesh at her feet as her wolf-like features would force their way outside of humanoid form which would also cause her eyeballs and teeth to fall out of their respective sockets as they would be replaced by razor sharp teeth and glowing eyes.






“Keep the other kid busy.” Melinda ordered the others as her main target was Calesto and his friend that resided inside him. Launching herself towards the kid, she would perform the very same technique she had wished to do before getting trapped in the genjutsu to turn him into mulch.

What Happened?
    Armen’s trap was a success trapping Melinda and Miguel in a Genjutsu, and the Saving Grace technique. This technique protected both Melinda and Miguel, preventing them from taking any damage from any attacks done after my last post and prior to this post. If Calesto had come within range before this post and launched a series of attacks, then all his attacks would have been null. The crystal kunai that was meant to penetrate Miguel was blocked by the effects of saving grace.  The bites done by both Delex creatures were also blocked. In regards to the Centaur, because of the text there is a bit of confusion.

But you made clear what you meant in your summary for the centaur. So based off of that we will say that the centaur’s flames are headed towards Calesto and Liara, but not at Melinda and Miguel.

Calesto enraged, charges, skipping from rock to rock at Vacuum speeds. He would then send chakra to Liara and then the rest was based on them being within proximity of Miguel and Melinda. Must’ve been a precaution in the event that Armen’s plan would fail. But Armen’s plan didn’t fail and the opponents didn’t move, so the call on wither or not the attack continued is Calesto’s. However, if the attack does continue in the time that it started instead of being void, then it is blocked by the abilities of Saving Grace, keeping Miguel and Melinda safe. In reference to earlier the centaur’s flames are headed towards Calesto at undetermined speeds, but because it is a B rank technique we can assume that its moving at B rank speeds. Calesto at this time is moving at A rank speed, which depending on the situation the flames could be avoided even without Calesto having referenced it in his post.  Being as the centaur would be in a similar situation as the Delex creatures. I say this meaning that the centaur didn’t just attack. In reference to your post before the last one:

The centaur’s attack was in event that calesto would dodge, meaning that his situation was similar to the Delex creatures because they were all initially waiting for Melinda and Miguel to take the lead. And after noticing that they both were in capable would take actions upon themselves.  Though what I’m pointing out here might be confusing, I will take a final chance to clarify what I mean in regards to that.  The attack done by the centaur was supposed to be a follow up in the event that Calesto dodges Miguel and Melindas move, which due to past efforts, have not been able to. The attack was a follow up, but the initial attack never happened for the follow up to come through. So Calesto and the siblings didn’t come close to each other yet, meaning that there was nothing to dodge, and the centaur Is waiting for an opportunity to strike, doesn’t mean he struck yet. But that determination is best left for you guys to decide.

The results for Liara also varies on that determination. But in regards to my perspective, Liara used the dance as distraction to let out her 20 swarms, each swarm containing over 10,000 bugs. She sent the bugs towards me, using my coverage to protect the bugs from any damage.  The barrier Armen had used is the three sealed barrier. Its design is to prevent damage or the destruction of anything inside. Right now the seal is in the shape of an upside down triangle. Armen is located against a wall, only a few feet into the third sublevel according to the distance traveled (30ft (WRA +Futon Shift) +20ft (A rank speed)). Armen is about 10ft up from the bottom of the third sublevel. Part of his strategy was to protect everyone above his positioning, so depending on Calesto’s positioning he may have been protected as well.  By using Armen’s barrier as coverage it’s possible that the bugs may have been protected from the fire, but the protection wasn’t for the entire trip towards Miguel and Melinda or any of the creatures around them. But since they relied on the flames to dispose of the larvae and all the bugs, if the flames have failed to do so then the larvae would successfully make its mark. The saving grace technique prevents Melinda and Miguel from taking damage, but doesn’t prevent the larvae from making contact and taking chakra.  Wither or not chakra is taken is a determination left to you guys as well.

What Is Happening Now

     From his position Armen would notice the creatures as they made moves. The first creature would arrive and speak to the immobilized woman, and then attempt to bite her twice. The moment he saw the bite coming, he would place his boomerang in his mouth and grab from his pocket two hand full of kunais. He would then notice a second attempting to bite Miguel twice as well. Armen lined his shots and released ten kunai at A rank speeds each the moment  their second bites failed . As mentioned earlier attacks on Melinda and Miguel prior to this post had failed, but now the barrier ninjutsu has dropped. The kunai were positioned to hit five different targets two each. But he lined them up in a way that each kunai would hit multiple targets. The first two was at the Delex(2) closest to Melinda, aimed to hit the unsuspecting creature’s head unless the creature could react faster than A rank speed, If unsuccessful the first  kunai would go towards the other Delex(1) causing the same situation, as the second kunai would go towards the centaur’s head. Second series of kunai aimed at the Delex(1) closest to Miguel, same aim on the target and if it's a miss, the first one would then go to Miguel’s head and the second one to Melinda’s.  The third series was towards the centaur’s head, if unsuccessful the first would go towards Melinda’s head and the second to the delex(2)’s head. The fourth series was to Melinda’s head, and if unsuccessful it the first kunai would go to Miguel’s head and the second to the centaur’s eyes.  To be unsuccessful she would first need to wake up from the genjutsu that still has her immobilized for 3 more posts and have A rank reaction tiers.  The fifth and final series was at Miguel’s head, if unsuccessful then the first one would go to Melinda’s head, and the second one to delex(2) eye. To be unsuccessful he would need to first wake up from the genjutsu which immobilizes him for 3 more posts and then have A rank reaction tiers.  All weapons were at A rank speeds and Armen had lined them up and released them simultaneously.

Because he lined them up he knew that how they’d travel, giving him an advantage, running against the walls and launching himself forward at the right time to come in low at B rank speeds after every attack would have hit. Therefore, not giving unwanted protection to the enemies which he had just targeted. He would attempt to touch Miguel and Melinda’s possibly dead bodies, as if he was trying to place a seal on them of some kind, but do to his body positioning with his lead leg that bared the third seal, his two arms were exposed for a moment, to do this. And he would also give a signal for the others to do what it is that they had to do.  He would then use futon shift to push him back to the position he was before, and he would attempt to leave the third sublevel and enter the second  by his next post ;where he couldn’t see.

Please work!!" They were pretty much stuck in the genjutsu and Armen was cleaning house somewhat. Concerning the larve draining the chakra, it was a pretty clinching chakra drain that wasnt going to do anything on her own, but Liara was smarter than that, She was on her last Leg, but she was going to make everything count. In a last ditch effort, Liara would detonate the larva on the twins, most of the larva on the upper body smothering the twins face completely and down to their waist. Long story short, 2500 of larva on your body is alot of fucking bugs, they were smothered.

To detonate them, the combination explosion would of beenA and c rank damage easily for each, blowing up their brains and most of their upper body and whatnot wiped out from existence . With them together, it would be a combination of a B and S rank explosion. To escape the radius, liara switch with another hive that she sent off a while back that was heading off the exit way in the upper levels before armen even showed up while liara was trying to throw them off in the piss. With that combo, Liara and calesto would be safe because they would have to move the host body since she was in there. Also, those 500 ninachi adult swarm also exploded, adding a C rank to the combined explosion

It was a combination of C S and B of an explosion down there, and with armens seal and being close to armen, the barrier could negate the collapse and destruction of the upper part so that they could atleast take cover from the rocks. If this didnt kill them, nothing will. She made the switch, it was up to calesto to come to his senses and do soemthing, anything.

Calesto wouldn't have any time to get closer to the duo as his body had appeared back on the upper level of the cave system, which to be honest in his current state of mind infuriated the boy. Although he had deep feeling for his team mate Liara, what she had just done was rob him of his chance of victory and of disemboweling that Midogaron. To think that he had given her even more of his chakra just before her body replacement too, what the hell. He was extremely upset by this act of betrayal that he would let out a primal roar before he would throw the two bone swords towards the explosion. "Get Out, Get Out, Get Out, Get Out, GET OUT!!!" He would shout as he start to drive his own clawed hand into his stomach to try and forcibly remove Liara from his system, he was so close to killing those two and eating their flesh, he could almost taste it. However now he was more focused on getting Liara out of his body, but due to his own mental state and the transformation he had unlocked, Calesto would soon pass out from exhaustion. His body would hit the floor on the top level as he faded out of consciousness, his body reverting back to his original form.

“We all do things we desperately wish we could undo. Those regrets just become part of who we are, along with everything else. To spend time trying to change that, well, it's like chasing clouds.” Those words  had stuck with her the moment  they had left his lips. He had given her a reason to continue on with her miserable existence, yes if it wasn’t for him who knew what would’ve become of the young Melinda as she made her way from West Continent, alas, it seemed that this was her final gift to him. She was never afraid of death and dying all for the sake of him and Pandora was how she had envisioned her end, so she was satisfied. “I hope that kid arrived safely…” She thought to herself since by now she was incapable of speech. As the floors and walls crumbled around them, she would take the paw of the Midogaron that was blown closer towards her due to the explosion he himself was already dead as he was never too durable, to begin with, maybe if she had actually taken this fight seriously from the get go maybe they both wouldn’t be dead but what’s done was done. Well at least they both died for a cause, and she was sure Miguel was satisfied with that. The explosion would, of course, paint the walls of cavern blood red leaving nothing but what had seemed to be their lower bodies since the bugs had covered them completely down to their waist, so Armen’s attempt to seal them would work however  the only thing he would manage to seal was their blown off torsos. All that was left now was that they escaped this cavern and head home.

To their fortune, the young strategist has prevailed over their powerful foes. the moments of immobility had allowed them to become victims of onslaught of attacks. Armen's attempt to make contact with them was successful and although it may have seemed as if he was about to place seals, what he was really doing was trying to take away the attention of him digitizing their weapons and adding it to his storage. But this came at a cost, because of Armen's greed he wasn't able to see the telegraphed follow up by liara who would blow up the foes in front of him. Thanks to the barrier the explosion did nothing to harm most of Armen's body but like mentioned before, his positioning left his arms exposed. After digitizing the weapons Armen made his way to the second sublevel as mentioned earlier but a burst of adrenaline would take hold of him to fight to reach the top. He would  use futon shift to take him 10 ft up and then  take off at B rank speeds covering a total of 25ft being now 5ft into the first sublevel.  Armen is quickly making his way to the top, by the start of his next post he will be at the top with Cal who is unconscious and Liara who is tending to him. There he will discover his life changing lost. He would see his arms barely hanging on by a piece of flesh as they would be digitized as well before they fell to the ground. Weakened and in shock Armen would  fall to the ground outside the cave.  He was in a bit of trouble but even though the lost of his arms would devastate him, what he witnessed in there. How he facilitated taking the lives of the two victims would scare him. Death never felt so real. He fought hard so that he could go home, but never did he stop to think that going home, meant that someone else couldn't. A full clip, one shot was how his rhythm went but he never thought it would take a coward to pull the trigger. Because as he lies there in need of attention, tears in his eyes from the pain all he could think about is, did anyone really need to die today. But really what choice did he have? As he'd lie there trembling all he could get out is, "It wasn't mah fault"

It was over. It was finally over and Liara had nothing to fear any longer. However, she wasn't too sure herself. There was still the individual that helped them. It could of been for any reason, and she wasn't too sure who he was and what not. It scared her, the fact that calesto went all wild and the fact that they managed to successfully kill two people. Could she be happy about that? They had no choice, they wouldn't let her and calesto leave. She had no choice, and she was glad they were dead actually. They were scarily powerful, and they could of killed so many more of their friends. " .... i wonder if its a bad thing to feel relieved that they are dead. " Liara said this but she noticed that this was coming out of calesto's mouth. Oh snap, he's fully unconscious, thats the only reason why she is in full control right now..." I need to get him home..." Liara would say, but, she would then, look to the individual named armen and noticed his injuries.

"You! Thank you for your help! I really do appreciate it. Please kind sir, let me tend to your wounds. I need to stop the bleeding. I'm not that great, but i cant just leave you alone when you risked your life like that...." It might sound strange that a womans voice was coming out of calesto's mouth. And after cycling out about one more c rank of chakra from calesto, she used mystic healing palm on her larve swarm and they slithered over to armen's stubs at b rank speeds. 250 larve on each stub of armen's wounds, as the ninachi larve baton passed the mystic healig palm to heal each stub for C rank damage, and an overall of B rank damage to armen.

After that, liara set Calesto down safely as the ninachi returned to her as she ripped off a good chunk of her clothing to wrap some cloth around the wounds to hive immediate first aid. "This is the best i can do right now, i'm low on chakra. But we need to get out of here. "After that, liara went back to calesto and offered support. "If you are fine to walk, thats great. She would say as she started to head to the exit at Armen's pace

Armen was saved by a person that he hadn't even noticed in the fight. "Was it reinforcements" , he would wonder as the reality of being without arms would sink in. As if it wasn't bad enough that he had an up close and personal view of Melinda and Miguel being blown to in half. He didn't hear anything that Liara said to him he was almost lost in his own world as he thought at that moment he was going to bleed out. When Liara healed him and stubbed his arms, Armen would breathe heavily looking at the blood on the ground. Luckily the blood wasn't much but from the blood was a little shine shine off the ground. His heavy breathing would uncover a B rank Gem and he would digitize it by rolling onto it and getting back up. He would walk slowly , limbing with his eyes all bugged out in terror. He was very greatful for Liara and pleased that he was able to save his team mates, but at what cost?
