The Stadium:

Due to the events of the previous matches a good patch of the arena was filled with multiple rocks making it bumpy while the entire arena was damp. Otherwise the scenery was the same as earlier and the crowd would cheer for the various competitors who had made it to this stage in the exams. This was the fifth match after the results of the first, second, third & fourth had both concluded and the participants had left the fighting area the proctor would signal for the next two to enter. He would wait for both participants to enter before he explained the rules to them. "You know the rules I see no need to repeat them." The proctor said while cracking his neck and stepping backward and cupping his hands around his mouth "Alright...you may begin."

Jazz would walk down the steps with both of her hands placed at the back of her head while chewing on some bubblegum she had managed to procure from one of the members of her clan since she was sort of hungry but couldn't eat anything substantial since she had to fight. Once she got down she would pause as if thinking to herself before removing her right hand and putting it down while keeping the left hand at the back of her neck. She had used the former all through the last match it was only fair that her other arm got exercise as well, truthfully she didn't care to show off it wasn't in her nature she was only doing so to give her a reputation.

It was also why she had been dead set on not revealing her skill set throughout the entire last match, sure she could of fought Cherish and ended it much quicker without physical exertion on her part but that would force her to bring out her puppets into the open and she was saving them for the finals. One would think it was odd seeing that she was a puppeteer and didn't use her puppets at all nor showed them off but she wanted to show all aspects of what she could do. The tactical foresight she attempted to showcase in her first match, and seeing as her opponent seemed to be a good weapon user & a capable physical combatant she wanted to show yet another side of herself. She would yawn a bit while she waited for her opponent, as it was the fellow rookie team 10 had 1 more member in the finals than her own team. This sort of upset her but at the same time she just realized that she'll have to just equalize it by defeating him and one up them by beating Summer if she beat the shark kid.

Omito walked back into the stadium's battle arena with hi hands in his pockets. His finger was still hurting after his last match, where he had to break it to get out of a genjutsu. The boy had to fight the girl who beat his team mate in the previous match, her name was Jazz. She too was a rookie, but Omito had a feeling she was one of the stronger ones out there. Once he reached the middle of the arena, he noticed how the ground was a little wet from the fight with the shark guy named Fang. Omito really wish he had a chance to fight Fang instead of Jazz, after all, Cherish loss to Jazz and Omito thought Cherish was stronger than him. The boy's light sea green eyes would stare across to the girl, showing no emotion. He knew he had to try his best. He had to do it for Cherish.

He would slowly pull his hands out of his pockets, and would turn his head side to side, trying to loosen up his neck. Omito would then get into a fighting stance as he watched her put one arm behind her back. He was going to force her to use two, no way in Hell was she going to embarrass him like that.

Jazz would use her index finger to tap the bar code on her right wrist and sure enough a smoke bomb would appear in her hand which she would promptly squeeze with D-rank strength in order to trigger it which would disperse the smoke cloud in a 5ft radius around her. Using the smoke bomb as cover snake would appear before her as she took him out of her digitized storage and she would proceed to wind up the dial near his neck since his tongue had been used in the earlier match she figured now would be the best time to do so. It wasn't like she wasn't taking her opponent seriously, she was she just wanted to wind her puppet while others couldn't see what she was doing. It wasn't as if she smoke cloud hampered her own ability to see anyways thanks to her barrier still being active around her body.

Hey would it be asking too much if I said not to forfeit too soon? Jazz asked she wasn't saying it like she was boasting but rather in her cutesy age appropriate one as if she actually was just a little girl who just so happened to be really skilled.

Once the proctor said go, the girl he was fighting didn't take any time starting. Omito watched her crush smoke bomb, and it covered his vision of her. The boy knew he could use her own smoke bomb to his advantage. He would quickly throw two kunai backed with C-rank strength towards the cloud of smoke, once they reached Jazz, the two kunai would explode since they had explosive tags wrapped around them, "Sounds like a reasonable thing to ask for to me." He gave a little laugh after before getting back into the fight. By this time Omito would be invisible, and was flying at B-rank speeds, 20 feet over Jazz. Once he got over her, he would throw 5 kunai down towards her backed with C-rank strength. He would continue to fly passed her until he landed on the ground 20 feet behind her. He would turn back visible, his light sea green eyes watched to see if anything hit.

Jazz would continue winding the key on Snake and when the incoming kunai approached her she would only raise an eyebrow as they detonated her eyes reflexively closing but other than the annoyance she was fine thanks to her defense tiers She would track him as he flew upward and when he pulled out 5 kunai she would lift Snake upand use him as a shield at B-rank speed, the thrown kunai only ending up embedded up to their tip in his torso due her own painstaking reinforcement of it's outer shell during her time as a genin. At that moment she would likewise make two doppelgangers which would emerge from her body each of them landing on the ground within the smoke cloud.

She knew he was outside of her minimized barrier radius and thus would revert it to the wide version sacrificing her anti concealment for a wider area of sensory. Sure enough she would locate him behind her and the doppelganger to her left would rush forward at B-rank speeds towards him while the one on Jazz's right would tap the originals left wrist. 2 kunai would emerge from it falling to the ground and the Doppelganger would kick them at B-rank speed launching them towards Omito's location stealing yet another technique from Rai. Since the smoke cloud hadn't been blown away and still lingered Jazz was capitalizing on her opponent not being able to see her in the smoke cloud. "Thanks for being so considerate." Jazz thought to herself hearing his reply.

The Left Doppelganger would rush forward after the kunai burst out of the smoke her left hand still holding the back of it's neck while a Sheathed Chokuto would be unsealed in front of her which she would grab with her right hand and sling it on her back as she got closer to where Omito was. It's shadow would manifest behind it as the Doppelganger seemingly got excited enough to fight each of the heads roaring while to those without a strong strength of mind would literally visualize the area being terraformed into a wasteland of death. Since the kunai had been launched at Omito it would attempt to capitalize on him dodging them in order to strike while he was still dodging and thus unsheathing Lyssa to attempt to slash Omito's torso at B-rank speed. "Thanks! Let's make this a fun fight then. The Doppelganger called out as she furthered Jazz's deception hoping to mislead Omito into thinking she was the original & had survived the blast in order to catch two of the kunai while dodging the rest, throw them faster at his location and then rush out of the smoke to attempt to engage him in close quarters combat.

It looked like Jazz wasn't trying to draw this fight out longer than she had too. His shuriken and kunai must have not done the trick because the girl came running out of the smoke cloud. Omito was about to engage and charge her, but he noticed the kunai coming his way, which he quickly countered with his own, causing the 4 kunai to fall to the ground, that way Jazz had no chance to catch them. By the time he threw the kunai Jazz was already in striking range, and she had some sword she was trying to slice him with. He then pulled out a kunai with reverse grip and blocked the attack, he would push with C-rank strength, trying to knock down the girl's sword, "Sure, let's make it fun."

Being this close it woud be hard to dodge another attack with her other arm being behind her neck. So Omito filled his mouth with chakra and spit out a ball of ectoplasm that was sent flying at Jazz's face at C-rank speeds. Immediately after doing that he would move back at B-rank speeds, trying to get a little more space as he saw the a clone run out from the smoke. So that was where the kunai came from.

"Ah, you blocked wrong, that is the incorrect way of blocking Lyssa." Jazz said in reply to his lets make it fun comment, as the kunai he had used in a reverse grip to block Lyssa would get sliced through and likewise since he had held it in a reverse grip it meant she'd slash his wrist to deal B-rank slicing damage. Her processing speed would accelerate as she would pivot on her heel while pulling her Chokuto back switching her stance since her slash had been a downward one and thus avoid his counter-attack while likewise attempting to force him to remain close to her lest he back up into Lyssa's blade. This was because when she twirled around him she would end up moving to his side during him spitting out the strange substance he had attempted to launch at her, and behind him when he moved back. A quick switch of her grip would have the Lyssa pointing behind her in a backstab which if Omito moved back he'd simply end up backing up into the blade tip which since she had in fact thrusted behind her at B-rank speed would seem as if she was 3 steps ahead of him the entire time. Which she was, thanks to her processing speed and his own mistake in thinking his flimsy kunai could block her well crafted sword.

Meanwhile in the smoke cloud, Jazz would continue winding Snake's mechanism before stopping and making a fist pump as she had finished winding up the key for Snake's sword of Kusanagi. It seemed like her ruse was done and thus she would place Snake back within her Digitized storage after her second doppelganger removed the kunai within it's torso and would turn to watch Omito deal with her first Doppelganger. [i]"First Blood goes to me" Jazz thought to herself as she saw her clone land a dangerous blow to Omito's wrist.

She said he blocked wrong at he found his kunai being cut through and the top part of his wrist being sliced open, "Damn!" Omito quickly dropped the kunai and put his left hand over his wrist. He was about to go backwards, but he saw Jazz behind him, so he flew directly up at B-rank speeds, avoiding the backstabbing move that was coming for him. As he was flying up he 2 ectoplasmic bombs would fall down from his hands at B-rank speeds. Each would create an explosion with a 30 foot diameter. Hopefully Jazz wasn't quick enough to move all the way out of the range of the attack. Blood dripped from his wrist, he had no idea how to stop the bleeding, so he was going to have to finish the fight quickly.

Techniques Used:

The Doppelganger would track his movement considering to her it was as if he was moving in slow motion and once he dodged her slash she would smirk, him flying was pretty interesting if only this wasn't the chunin exams she would of loved to cut him up and made him into a human puppet. "You'll bleed out soon, you know." Jazz said while looking upward as he flew above her and when he released the bombs comprised of the weird energy she would be engulfed as the spheres detonated only to end up reappearing behind him while attempting another B-rank speed slash this time aimed at his back. Considering he needed to continue to move upward to escape his own attacks range while she, being a doppelganger didn't she could afford to take such a risk namely attempting to cut him while he was moving upward before he reached the necessary 30ft to avoid being caught in his ectoplasm bomb.

Meanwhile Jazz knowing what that technique did from the last bout Omito was in would quickly back up at B-rank speed out of the smoke cloud so that she were out of the blast radius and thus safe though she left her doppelganger in the cloud to perish. They would be behind the smoke cloud though from a bird's eye view, which was possible since Omito & the other clone were in the air it would be possible to see the two of them. Which was what Jazz was banking on having left her other doppelganger in the smoke cloud in order to essentially trick Omito into thinking she had body replaced to that location and thus miss the fact that her Doppelganger had teleported behind him. If he had chakra vision though he would of seen the doppelganger become transparent as the ectoplasm bombs detonated keying him to the fact that she had teleported away, but Jazz figured due to him obviously being a Ronin that he didn't possess such methods of sensory.

So the girl managed to evade his attack, and he had no clue how she moved so fast, but there she was, aiming to slice him up in the air. Omito continued to fly up, however he spun at B-rank speeds, avoiding the sword that was coming for his back. After dodging the sword he continued to spin and tried striking her in the head with C-rank strength, trying to knock her out of the air. Blood continued to seep out of the wound, causing him to grit his teeth. He literally had nothing to clog it with, so he was going to have to just do his best until he felt like he couldn't continue.

The boy spotted another clone standing behind the cloud of smoke from earlier. He immediately threw 5 shuriken towards her, backed with C-rank strength. After doing this, he thought of an idea of how to stop the blood from his wound from coming. Omito ripped a sleeve off his shirt and tied it tightly around his wrist at B-rank speeds. He knew it wouldn't help for long, but he had to do everything he could. After doing this he flew towards Jazz at B-rank speeds, trying to go back to close range fighting.

Ah, an aerial finish just like Cherish. The doppelganger said as Omito had in fact dodged her downward slash right, but she had planned for this, above her while he was occupied with the immediate threat namely the fact that a B-rank slash was incoming the Reaper Scythe of War would manifest, Removing right hand from her neck she would move it behind her back from her failed slash to grab it with her right hand hand and pull it down using her chakra sense to essentially gauge the distance between her and Omito so that he was inbetween her and the scythe blade. Once again to her Omito was moving in..slow motion and she would reverse the grip of Lyssa in her left hand to thrust out in a last ditch stab trying to coax Omito into moving up and into the scythe blade but she would willingly take the kick to her head if he didn't take the bait knowing that not only did the blow not really phase her, thanks to her defense tiers, but the moment it connected and knocked her away Omito would be sealing his own fate as the scythe blade would impact his back propelled by not only the doppelganger's strength but likewise the strength that Omito put into his hit to knock her away.

This would likewise prevent him from noticing the other Jazz, who unknown to him was the original and thus launching shuriken at her since he was very much still under the threat of being sliced up and wouldn't have time to throw shuriken nor stem the bleeding. The original Jazz would actually sit down her left hand still at the back of her neck as she make motions as if she were conducting an orchestra watching him fight her doppelganger rather amused.

Omito noticed that Jazz was trying to strike again with her sword, so when she tried stabbing him he would twist his body at B-rank speeds, avoiding the attack. Once he was going in for his kick to knock the girl down, he stopped quickly as he saw something appear above him. He knew the scythe would come down on him if he knocked the girl down, so his leg changed directions, trying to knock Jazz higher into the sky so the scythe would follow with her. Unfortunately he was at a tough angle to make the kick connect so right before his foot got to her chin the scythe hit him in his left shoulder, knocking him towards the ground. He gritted his teeth because he knew that it was over, but he wanted to get at least one more hit in, so as he was falling he threw a kunai into he sky towards Jazz's back which would explode once it reached her due to the explosive tag wrapped around it.

The boy hit the ground, which was more so dust because of the explosion that softened it up. Blood came from his wrist and now his shoulder too. He felt light headed. He saw the blood on the ground and noticed he was laying in a puddle of it. It must have dropped from my wrist when we were in the air. His light sea green eyes looked upwards towards the night sky, he might of loss, but he was proud of himself and was going to take his loss with dignity, "I forfeit." He gave a slight smile under his mask as he layed there, he at least managed to make her use two hands. He knew he gave it his best and that was all that mattered. Omito would then call out to Jazz as he winced in pain, "Good fight.... I'm sorry that I couldn't keep my promise of not forfeiting so fast. Next time though I'll be the winner." The boy then closed his eyes, the pain was starting to be too much to handle because his adrenaline was running off. He wondered if he left a good enough mark to be categorized as a Chunin.

The moment the War scythe it, both it and Lyssa would be sealed back into Digitized storage with the doppelganger vanishing as well. When Omito landed on the ground Jazz would promptly walk over before kneeling next to him in the puddle of blood and placing both of her hands down on the ground so it was as if she was leaning over him. "You did good, that was pretty fun. So don't go into the light okay you gotta stay awake." Jazz said with a grin though she was quite serious knowing that she had done enough damage to risk his life, not that she cared for it but she didn't want to end up getting disqualified or anything. Though she was masking her want to stain her body with his blood with concern for an opponent that she had fought and thus would wait for the proctor's to call the match and carry him out.

The proctor would body flicker next to Omito after the two genin exchanged their words before depositing him with a medic nin who would take him to the medical bay in order to get her injuries treated. "Omito Fantom has forfeited. Jazz D. Kukinorite is the winner of this match, please proceed back to the stands so the next match can begin." The proctor said while staring at the girl waiting for her to proceed back up the steps. "Will the next match proceed." he said once she left wanting to get this over with, just two more fights to go and then he could take a well earned nap.
