Personality: Rii is a level headed person. She keeps her cool and doesn't let her temper show, even when it is raging. She knows how to get her way and how to manipulate. She is quite aware of how most people think and view her and she uses this knowledge to her advantage when she can. She is cold and efficient in battle, stopping niether to talk or to rest until her goal is complete. Rii is quiet, not out of shyness but rather, she is introverted and keeps her thoughts to herself. In social situations this often puts her on the edge of a group, but she'll still chime in occasionally. Rii prefers keeping a small group of close friends rather than a large group of friends. Even though at first glance she seems anti-social, Rii is actually very depending on her interaction with people, and if she remains away from her friends and others she tends to become depressed. She also seems quiet become she is observative. She tends to keep tabs on everyone around her and hears everything that is said within hearing distance. She gathers information about individuals and other matters this way. She doesn't do this by choice, rather it's natural for her, almost like an involuntary habit when she is around other people. Rii's take on life is one of indifference. She doesn't believe in a higher power but she doesn't believe that it isn't possible one exists. She is uncaring of where her race came from and where it is going. All Rii cares about is her current life and when death comes she will embrace it and accept it as a part of life. Because of this she tends to be less fearful than other people, depending on the situation. The only thing that can truly cause Rii to fear something, is a situation where her friends are in danger and she can do nothing to help them. Threatening Rii with her own death will do next to nothing. Becoming a ninja was the last thing Rii wanted to do with her life. She would much rather spend her time as a civillian. Sadly she came from a line of Shinto that were known for their exploits, some of them weren't exactly respected though. Her goal as a Kunoichi is not to gain prestige and power, but rather, it is to live. That may sound bland at first glance, but it has a much deeper meaning than one may think. Basically, Rii goes with what happens. She adjusts her goals and perspective based on the changes around her, and as such she doesn't take any particular path in life. In her Academy days, Rii seemed much more happy and lighthearted than she actually was. She put on this visage for the sake of other people. She seems as an innocent child, so innocent in fact, that some may have trouble distinguishing if she was a kunoichi or just a civilian. Rii didn't inherit much from her ancestor, Sayaka Shishuin, but she did inherit one thing in particular. She inherited Sayaka's bright green eyes. Rii's eyes are an even lighter and deeper green than Sayaka's though. Age 14-18 - Spoiler:
Upon reaching her teen years, Rii came to accept herself more. She began wearing clothes that she actually liked and did her hair the way she wanted it. She became more independent and dressed in darker colors. Her clothing and hair wasn't the only thing that changed. She started looking much less innocent, she filled in much more, and grew in height quite a bit, although she remained a short girl. Age 19+ - Spoiler:
Reaching pretty much full maturity Ririko's appearance stopped changing around this age due to her being a nova. Dressing still in all black, the biggest physical change to her appearance was her hair which she cut shorter. Overall though, the most different thing wasn't really a physical detail, but rather was her general visage. Some could consider it a bit darker than when she was younger, but its honestly more so due to her experience as a Kunoichi up to this point. History: - Pre-Academy:
Rii was born from a long line of Kunoichi. This line began with a woman named Sayaka Shishuin, most well known for her time spent as the Gobi Jinchuriki. Sayaka met a man named Benitora Yamada and they had a child together. This child's name was Kari Yamada and was born into the Shinto clan which Sayaka and Benitora both joined.
Kari Yamada was a kunoichi as well and lived her life as one. She eventually found a man and settled down with him, bearing two children. These children were twins. One of the twins a male the other a female. The female's name was Tora Shinto, taking on the name of the clan that Sayaka had joined. Tora was a member of the Shishuspaida branch of the Shinto, like Kari and Sayaka before her. Tora wasn't as gifted as Kari and Sayaka though, and she retired to the life of a civilian when she was only in her twenties. Tora fell in love with a man from Hakagakure and married him. The couple had two children, twins, both female. One of these was indeed Ririko (Rii).
Rii was born along with a sister. Both seemed to be healthy babies at first glance, but it was soon discovered that Rii's sister was infected with a fever upon birth. They tried all they could but the girl could not be saved... she died just after she was named. Her name was Rue.
Ririko grew up an only child, and as her ancestors before her she was a shinto, gifted with the Shishuspaida which used her body as a home. On the outside she looked like a normal girl, but on the inside she was much different from any other little girl. It took her parents a long time to get over grieving their loss of Rue, but they still had one child to take care of. Even now, mentioning Rue would bring tears to their eyes.
Rii, mature for her age, knew of her family history by the age of 9. She felt the necessity to join the academy for the sake of her family name. She honestly had no desire to be a kunoichi, but she was expected to be the heir to the Shishuspaida branch, a job that Tora, Rii's mother, hadn't done very well. It was time for a new head of the branch to rise up, and Rii was the most promising young one in the branch. The Shogunate Shinobi Academy was introduced to the world, and Rii decided to join it.

Description: Rii's acid release has invaded her own body. All the parts of her body, where water would be for normal people, there is acid instead. This means even her blood is mostly acid. For anyone else this would kill them in a matter of seconds, but her body has changed to accommodate the acid. As such she is completely immune to her own acid, she could literally swim in it with no problem. In addition to this, the acid fortifies her immune system greatly. If her body detects any foreign object, such as a toxin or a disease, the acid will begin to dissolve the virus. This makes her resistant to diseases and poisons equivalent to her rank, unless they are created as a result of Venom or Virus Release. In this case it takes a set amount of time before they are broken down which is dependent on her Rank & Endurance Tiers. Description: Like Rii, all of her shishuspaida are totally immune to her acid. The shishuspaida live inside her, so they in turn have also adapted to the acid, going as far as taking it into their own bodies. As such, the shishuspaida possess the acid, of course when left alone this has no real ability, but once expounded upon, Rii's shishuspaida will be able to gain acid-related hive modifications in the future.

Description: Rii is exceptional in battle against genjutsu users, but not just because she is immune to genjutsu. If a genjutsu is used against her, she can use her opponents failing genjutsu against them by using it as a medium to bridge fabrication to them essentially adding her Fabrication to a genjutsu chain and rebounding it on them. This has numerous uses primarily due to her reserves allowing her to focus on overpowering typical mental threats and due to her Soulless and Dakar Heritage she has formidable mental defenses that come naturally to her.

Description: The Mutualistic Destruction Insect Technique is a practice exclusive to the Shinto clan. When children are born into the clan, their bodies are offered to insects to be used as a nest. Over the years, as the child grows up, they are instructed in the secret techniques of the clan, and learn how the insects may serve them in combat similar to the Shinto clan. Few Shinto are inhabited by Shishupaida, this is due to them being gained upon reaching a minimum of Chunin Rank. In regards to Shishupaida however depending on the skill level of the user the size of the hive within them varies, all Shinto use hives to determine how many insects they have available for techniques. The first hive introduced into a Shinto's body is known as the Primary Hive and other than that every additional Shishupaida hive is external this is likewise due to them wanting to set themselves apart from the rest of the Shinto clan. Techniques involving Shishupaida utilize additional costs in the number of insects which determines the power as well as size scope of the technique, due to the mutualistic destruction insects being alive when killed in battle it lowers the effectiveness of techniques which use them and as a result limit the amount of techniques an Shinto is capable of using with that particular species of insect. Description: A Shinto clan member's Shishupaida differ in behavior in their larva and adult stages. Unlike the other types of Shinto clan insects, excluding Ninhachi (Which they prey on), Shishupaida can actually exist outside of a host body in special incubation centers called hives for an indefinite amount of time. Usually hives consist of solely adult Shishupaida and can be summoned without the blood price by the host Shinto clan member. Unlike Ninhachi however these hives are made out of extremely dense web like cocoons spun by the adults however they can also be made around a food source, which are the only types of hives which can support Spiderlings. These types of hive require am immobilized/incapacitated living target which hasn't been drained of blood with the Shinto clan member placing their hands on the potential hive and causing Shishupaida to flood from their body to prepare it halving the Shinto clan members max hive until the next breeding cycle. This process takes a variable amount of time to fully create the hive for sustaining larvae and the number of larvae compatable hives a Shinto can make depend similar to the former on the Shinto's rank. A Shinto clan member's Shisupaidā have the ability to create webs which in addition to being extremely sticky can also have a varying amount of effects, the Sticky type costs fatigue to produce while the other variants cost equal-rank chakra however both are capable of dealing either Non-elemental or Elemental Hybrid based damage. Description: A Shinto clan member's Mutualistic Destruction Insects are resistant to genjutsu and have the ability to break the Shinto clan member out of it at differing speeds dependent on the Shinto clan members rank. The reason they are resistant is due to the complexity of the insect brain since they are governed by primal instinct rather than logic or reasoning like a human brain. The Spiderling form of Shishupaida feed on a minuscule amount of chakra while inside of the Shinto clan members body. Although they technically don't use chakra to fuel for their techniques they tend to eat a bit of the user's chakra as compensation which is why they take 1-rank less amount of chakra as a normal ranked ninjustu would consume. However once they take that amount from the user the additional chakra absorbed from opponents can be paid back to the Shinto clan member resulting in an Shinto's chakra levels fluctuating. Spiderlings are capable of consuming ambient chakra from victims at varying levels depending on the amount in a technique this determines the rate as well as the speed of consumption. On the other hand adult Shishupaida only consume flesh/Ninhachi and as a result techniques utilizing them always have a blood price however in the case of techniques which convert Spiderlings to adults to attack these techniques consume chakra equal to the rank of the technique. Description: A Shinto clan member's adult and in rare cases even Spiderlings have the ability to alter their size open exiting the hosts body. With size is proportional strength and according to rank the size in which the bugs can grow is affected. Like Ninhachi, Shishupaida spend a considerable amount of time in their juvenile forms (Spiderlings) because of that a Shinto clan member possessing these insects has a varying amount of techniques which are used to help them cope with the changes in their insects physiology. It takes 15 posts (total) for a Spiderling to be old enough to molt after which they become dormant for 5 posts (total) before they molt and become an adult Shishupaida. Shishupaida do not possess breeding cycles in fact unless they possess a hive they will not breed at all leading inexperienced Shishupaida user's helpless if they do not have methods to facilitate the breeding of their insects. However in light of that Shishupaida breed much faster than the other insect types when hives are present. In addition the ratio between Spiderlings and Adult Shishupaida vary with every member of the Shinto clan. Description: This technique can only be granted by Sangil's direct influence on another Shinto Member creating a bastardized version of his signature Shinu technique for the clan member. Upon subsequent parentage, the clan member will find that their children will retain this trait as it is dominant over the original Shishupaida DNA. This technique further splits Shishupaida into three additional types some having gender differences others none upon receiving this augmentation any of the three new Shishupaida species can use the user's original Shishupaida techniques.
* Widow Breed: This unique species of Shishupaida resemble black widows and have lost the ability to manipulate their size in battle, however they have instead specialized on creating a unique neurotoxin which literally permanently kills off the nerves in the afflicted target within 20 posts (total). Widow Shishupaida exclusively feed on male Widow Shishupaida as well as Kikaichu and even the advance breeds of the latter however they are very frail and aren't useful for prolonged combat with other insect types. Due to these characteristics they are best used in sync with Supplementary techniques receiving a +1 boost and due to their frailness they have a 1-rank penalty when used in conjunction with defensive techniques. - Life Cycle: Like the normal species, Widow Shishupaida have prolonged larval stage lifespans with them possessing the longest time until maturity out of the advanced Shishupaida breeds, it takes 40 posts (total) before they undergo molting to become adults however once they have reached adulthood they gain access to an additional toxin which is the lethal variant that kills opponents within 10 posts of coming in contact with it while permanently killing off their nerve endings within half the time period. - Gender Differences: The Widow Hive has an much larger amount of amount of males in proportion to females (85:15), and both have notable differences. The males do not possess the advanced variant of the toxin and possess the ability to spin toxic webs which contain the normal variant of the toxin that Widow Shishupaida possess. While the females possess the advanced variant and possess the ability to track the male variants of their species for better mating and hunting purposes. Description: This Dojutsu is obtained from birth and renders the users optic nerves fully functional in areas with a low concentration or absence of light. They perceive images in black and white and are sensitive to movement at night to give them a full visual representation of things around them. They are extremely sensitive to normal light conditions and high concentrations of light can permanently blind them.

Description: This is the next step after a Dakar has obtained an element in their core they use this technique to create a specific fighting style which combines both their Life Release with the Core Element to produce a unique Elemental Life Release Fighting Style which is capable of being utilized without hand seals in order to utilize the techniques under it in battle. Ririko has hybridized her Genetic Structure with Acid stripping the calcium out of the bone giving it a rubber like flexible consistency yet retaining Life Release's neutrality, her bones are a dull yellow and reek of the scent of vinegar.

However a Dakar's genetic structure is incomplete this is due to their Core being clear at birth, it is only upon the Dakar gaining an element that they are capable of utilizing chakra based life release for no cost with them learning a Fighting Style which entails combining their Life Release with their Core Element to give their bones the properties of said element. A Dakar can only choose a core element once in their lifetime which is done by surviving an elemental based technique after being hit by it.

The Soulless then touches, taps, pokes or stabs an opponent sending a localized shock-wave into the targets chakra pathway system in order cause them to expel chakra to forcibly lower their chakra reserves in a battle. this can be repeated over and over with advanced techniques causing targets to succumb to rapid chakra exhaustion often killing targets by emptying out their chakra reserves. This fighting style leaves no bruises or signs that the damage is being dealt other than the targets chakra reserves going down with each hit, and can be offset by replenishing one's chakra.

Description: The Dakar gazes upon their target resulting in the victim now sustaining double the amount of pain from any technique which harms them. This doesn't amplify the damage they sustain rather it simply amplifies the amount of pain they feel often resulting in higher amounts of pain causing victims intense agony, ceasing up or being paralyzed due to pain or even causing them to faint or be knocked unconcious. Those with pain resistance take 1-rank below as much pain while those with a high pain tolerance (Cypher) take 2-ranks below as much pain. Those with Pain Immunity are immune to this Fabrication. This technique can likewise be used on oneself if one is able to gaze into a reflective surface as a crude way to break through genjutsu without sustaining much injury. Description: This is a frightening Fabrication technique with has been used by the more powerful of Dakar however was thought to be lost throughout the ages. This technique can only be used when the opponent is under the effects of Cripple Stage 1 or Cripple Stage 2 or any of the advanced versions of the technique. Upon being used one of the opponent limbs which are affected is literally crushed into numerous fragments by the mental force projected by the technique rendering it completely unusable unless being healed by a medical technique S-rank or above. If not healed the victim, if they possess blood, sustains internal bleeding causing them to lose a 5 D-ranks of Blood each post (total) if the crushed limb isn't treated or blood flow to it isn't cut off.

Description: A secret technique exclusive to the Shinto clan, where hundreds of shisupaida are gathered in one place to take on the appearance of the user or anyone else the user wishes. Using the webs generated by their adult arachnids they mold it into a clone which looks exactly like they Shinto clan member when using the Transformation technique in conjunction with it. The process of creating this technique is rather brief as the Shisupaida swarm around an area to produce the clone at speeds dependent on their swarm tactics. As a result it can be performed completely independently of the user by Shisupaida stationed somewhere else in order to catch opponents off guard. This clone can use only physical techniques or techniques which specifically involve Web Clones while moving at speeds dependent on the Swarm Tactics and after sustaining damage equal to a C-rank they dissolve back into a C rank worth of web materia, which can be used to bind an opponent preventing their movement unless they have either C-rank+ or higher strength, or the web is burned by a C-rank or above fire technique resulting in the immobilized victim being set ablaze if they lack C-rank Endurance Tiers causing them to sustain Fire Release damage 1-rank below the rank of the Fire technique used for 3 P.T. Description: The user creates a cocoon around themselves, at bullet release speeds, most likely to spy or hide from the enemy at the cost of immobilizing their body while this technique is active. While wrapped inside of this Cocoon the user's breeding cycle is cut in half causing their Shisupaida techniques to go down for 4 posts (total) before returning to normal strength while the user is unable to be detected by opponents unless they have the Zenraigan or a chakra sensory technique which detects concealment techniques C-rank or above. The entire growth cycle is cut in half including the time required for a Spiderlings to molt into Adults as well as their dormancy period (8 posts total). This technique has a 3 post (total) cooldown before it can be used again and upon being activated the user is unable to end up prematurely until the cooldown is up.

Description: A secret technique exclusive to the Shisupaida using branch of the Shinto clan after mimicking the Kikaichu user's seeing that it was quite useful in combat, where the user flings out multiple Shisupaida which emerge from the user's body in clumps before converging on a target. When utilized along with shuriken however the Shisupaida surround the projectile travelling along with it and upon the projectile being embedded in a target rapidly begin to drain the chakra of the victim depending on how big the shuriken is using the Shisupaida Swarm system. Three-Point = Scouting Swarm Tactics (50 Spiderlings), Four-Point/Square = Hazer Swarm Tactics (100 Spiderlings), Fuma Shuriken = Defensive Swarm Tactics (500 Spiderlings), Giant Three-Point/Four-Point/Square Shuriken = Offensive Swarm Tactics (1000 Spiderlings), Giant Fuma Shuriken = Cluster Swarm Tactics (5000 Spiderlings). When used in the line of sight the Shinto is capable of distinguishing allies from opponents however when not the Spiderlings will attack anything they can get their mandibles in. Description: The user creates a seal that takes the appearance of a triangle in the palm of their hand. Within the triangle, the kanji for “Paralyze” will appear, completing the creation of the curse. When placed upon its target, which can only be human sized, this curse will completely paralyze their body, as long as they possess D-rank or lower strength tier. One can break free of this curse by releasing a strong amount of chakra in the form of a C-rank amount. This is the most basic building block of any juinjutsu specialists technique list and is always the first technique any budding juinjutsu master learns as it helps with more complex curses. Every Paralysis Curse can be further modified by the use of Curse Modifiers, the amount of Curse Modifiers slots this curse can have is 4 before the max limit is reached and it can no longer be modified. Curse Modifiers can only be equal rank or lower than the Paralysis Curse they are trying to modify, in addition, adding modifiers does not alter the final curse's rank.
