Basic Info

Clan Name: Shinto
Clan Location: Hakagakure
Clan Symbol:
Spoiler:
Each Symbol Represents a Bug (Six out of Six bugs have been listed.)

Kekkai Genkai

Clan Information: The Shinto clan members do not hold a kekkai genkai of their own but are usually characterized by their use of insects. The insects live in symbiosis within the body of the shinobi. At birth, members of this clan are offered to a special breed of insects as a nest, residing just under their host's skin. The clan members may also carry additional bugs in jars or gourds with them on missions. The insects can leave and enter their host's body through various pores. They feed on chakra as a food source, making them quite deadly. The relationship between the shinobi and the insects is mutually beneficial. The host grants the bugs shelter and allows them to feed off their chakra, their body becoming a living hive of tens of thousands of these bugs, and in return the bugs do the user's bidding, allowing the shinobi to perform ninjutsu-like techniques without the use of hand seals or chakra conversion.

[b]Equipment Name:[/b] (Insert First Name)'s Insect Jar
[b]Type of Equipment:[/b] Gourd
[b]Rank:[/b] D (Can get refitted every rank up to equal user's rank)
[b]How Many:[/b] 1
[b]Appearance:[/b] A flesh colored sack-like gourd which is made via the specially treated shed skin (or skin from a deceased) of a Shinto Clan member of the same lineage of it's eventual owner in order to act as a versatile external hive and is keyed to the the specific Shinto due to being comprised of their bloodline. It has a different appearance dependent on what type of insect is within it, due to each insect having it's own distinct type of chitin as the treatment entails lacquering the skin with a resin made out of insect chitin. If they consume chakra it remains still, but if they consume blood it throbs like as if it had a pulse. This gourd remains attached to the user's back via Van Der Wal forces similar to how insects are capable of clinging to walls and other surfaces.

[b]Special Ability:[/b] Like all Gourds it acts as a storage device, in this case it can be filled with Shinto Insects due in part to it's unique composition simulating an ideal external hive. It is structured in a way that  when sealed nothing can get out of it, however things can be added to it, whether chakra, blood, pulped plant life or other biological matter due to the funnel like mouth. This works to keep Shinto insects from escaping the gourd in particular if they are hostile to other insects stored within their host's body. It can store set amounts of Shinto insects as they have different sizes despite being microscopic in size however typically they have 2 Levels which determines how heavy it is as despite being extremely lightweight when filled it becomes slightly heavy due to their constant movement. The 1st Level is always Quarter (1/4th) the size of a Hive within a Host Body, whereas the 2nd Level is always Half (1/2) the size of a Hive within a Host Body. Additional Re-fittings cause this to scale up with the user's Rank as the hives of skilled Shinto are noticeably larger than unskilled Shinto. The main drawbacks to this equipment is that the Breeding Cycles of Shinto Insects within it take twice (2x) as long as they would while in a Host body.

Insects List
Shinto Clan Members are capable of integrating a Hive with each rank-up (D = 1, C = 2, B = 3, A = 4, S = 5, "Z" = 6 & "X" = 7), this is detailed in the first passive of each Shinto Insect Type however what this means is that when a Shinto Rank ups they can do one of three things:
1. Integrate an additional Hive of their starter Insect Type
2. Integrate a variant insect Hive
3. Integrate an advanced insect Hive
4. Develop a sub-species of a previously integrated Hive.
- In the first example it results in the size of their  primary Hive increasing as evident in the 1st Passive.
= In the second example it results in the size of their primary remaining the same size & them gaining a new hive which starts at the lowest hive size available.
- In the third example it results in the same as the second example except in the case of certain combinations in which the insects are hostile to one another, which results in one Hive being consumed by the other and the remaining hive starting at the second (or more depending on how many inferior hives were in the Host Body) lowest hive size.
= In the fourth example it results in the same as the second example except the Primary Hive's size increases, Sub-Species are identical to the normal type of Shinto Insect albeit having a single trait exaggerated such as wings, carapace, mandibles, poison or breeding speed which provides new effects which differentiate them from the original species. Sub-Species once created can not be altered further, and when they breed with the original species their offspring will always breed true as the original, this requires dedicated Shinto to ensure that their Sub-Species only breed with each other if they wish to preserve them.

Kikaichū *Very Common*
These are a species of small, beetle-like insects that live inside the body of a Shinto clan member and feed off of chakra. The female bugs can be left on a target and then they can be tracked by smell, or scout bugs can be sent out and return to tell the host information about the area making these bugs experts in tracking and espionage. About 50 percent of Shinto clan members have these insects living in their body from infancy

[b]Description:[/b] The Parasitic Destruction Insect Technique is a practice exclusive to the Shinto clan. When children are born into the clan, their bodies are offered to insects to be used as a nest. Over the years, as the child grows up, they are instructed in the secret techniques of the clan, and learn how the insects may serve them in combat. Most Shinto are inhabited by kikaichū, however, the clan does not limit themselves to the use of one type of insect. In regards to Kikaichu however depending on the skill level of the user the size of the hive within them varies, all Shinto use hives to determine how many insects they have available for techniques. The first hive introduced into a Shinto's body is known as the Primary Hive with each Shinto being able to intergate a new hive with every rank up for a 500 Word Weekly Training Topic. Techniques involving Shinto utilize additional costs in the number of insects which determines the power as well as size scope of the technique, due to the parasitic destruction insects being alive when killed in battle it lowers the effectiveness of techniques which use them and as a result limit the amount of techniques and Shinto is capable of using with that particular species of insect.

[b]Description:[/b] A Shinto clan member's Kikaichū have breeding cycles which allow the power of their jutsu to fluctuate. Usually their bugs have a stable growth which doesn't affect use of their techniques during the beginning of the match however as the match goes on in 10 posts (total) the Kikaichū undergo breeding which causes their techniques to go down 1-rank and this breeding cycle lasts for 2 posts (total) before going back to normal strength for 3 posts (total) after which due to the newer and stronger generation their jutsu techniques go up 1-rank which lasts for another 10 posts (total) before the whole breeding process happens over again. An Shinto clan member's Kikaichū are of two genders and they both have vital roles, males are usually less abundant than females (20:80 ratio) however they possess the ability to track the female members of their species. Female members of the species however possess no chakra tracking abilities and as such are used for the bulk of the techniques along with Male Kikaichu to maximize their effectiveness however every Shinto's hive is unique in the exact ratioing. Every breeding cycle there are always enough Females to ensure the next generation assuming the entire hive is not destroyed in addition due to the make up of Kikaichu prolonged battles results in the hive becoming stronger over time however this resets every new topic.

Name: Parasitic Destruction Insect - Kikaichu Effects
Classification: Kinjutsu
Rank: D-rank
Class: Passive
Range: Self

Description: A Shinto clan member's Parasitic Destruction Insects are resistant to genjutsu and have the ability to break the Shinto clan member out of it at differing speeds dependent on the Shinto clan members rank. The reason they are resistant is due to the complexity of the insect brain since they are governed by primal instinct rather than logic or reasoning like a human brain. Each insect feeds on a minuscule amount of chakra while inside of the Shinto clan members body. Although they technically don't use chakra to fuel for their techniques they tend to eat a bit of the user's chakra as compensation which is why they take 1-rank less amount of chakra as a normal ranked ninjustu would consume. However once they take that amount from the user the additional chakra absorbed from opponents can be paid back to the Shinto clan member resulting in an Shinto's chakra levels fluctuating. Kikaichu are capable of consuming ambient chakra from victims at varying levels depending on the amount in a technique this determines the rate as well as the speed of consumption.

Description: A Shinto Clan member who possesses Kikaichu within their body are able to incorporate additional hives dependent on their age the process is rather uncomfortable however despite that it is something every Kikaichu using Shinto Clan member must endure when they wish to add additional hives. With each additional hive added at Max rank the amount of Kikaichu within said hive is reduced in comparison to the primary, this is due to the limited amount of space within a Shinto Clan members body. However it is a blessing in disguise as due to the insects filling the Shinto Clan members body sustains injuries such as slashes or stabs the Kikaichu can instead bleed out of the wound along with the blood reducing the blood loss from techniques. This is based on the Shinto Clan members endurance tiers and the amount of Kikaichu they can afford to expend when taking an injury.

Variant Kikaichu Breeds
(In order to obtain the variant breeds one must first gain Clan Head Approval. After which they must write a 750 word weekly training topic in order to fully gain control over their new hive.)

Rhino Kikaichu
These are a unique species of Kikaichu which possess a prominent horn and possess a more armored exoskeleton in comparison to the normal Kikaichu. They feed off of chakra just like Kikaichu however their males have lost their female tracking ability. Both genders have the ability to fly and the females have the ability to inject a deadly virus into their victims which infects them with the chakra loss virus.

Scarab Kikaichu
These are a unique species of Kikaichu which have powerful mandibles which allows them to easily tear flesh off of their victims. The reason for this is due to their primary food source which unlike normal Kikaichu is dead/rotting flesh however they are also able to consume living flesh if the need arises. Both genders have the ability to fly and have the ability to detect rotting/dead matter in an area. On the other hand only males possess the chakra sensitive while females have the ability to detect life signatures.

Locust Kikaichu
These are a unique species of Kikaichu which have thin exoskeletons which allow them to move much faster than the normal Kikaichu. Their primary diet consists of plant life however they are able to feed off of chakra when their is a lack of plants available. Each Locust Kikaichu consumes enough plant matter to equal its body weight and because of that fact they are very dangerous when not controlled carefully. The males are flightless and to compensate for that they are able to track the females across vast distances in addition to their natural chakra sensing.

[b]Description:[/b] This technique can only be granted by Sangil's direct influence on another Shinto Member creating a bastardized version of his signature Shinu technique for the clan member. Upon subsequent parentage, the clan member will find that their children will retain this trait as it is dominant over the original Kikaichu DNA. This technique further splits Kikaichu into three additional types some having gender differences others none upon receiving this augmentation any of the three new Kikaichu species can use the user's original Kikaichu techniques.

* Rhino Breed: This unique species of Kikaichu has a notable horn which they can use to impale opponents and are naturally slower than the other Kikaichu species lowering their speed by 1 Tier Level when utilized in Supplementary or Offensive techniques, however their speed is 2 Tier Levels higher when utilized in Defense techniques due to their naturally thick exoskeletons. The Rhino Breed has also lost the tracking abilities of the males during the modification.
- Breeding Cycle: The Rhino breeding cycle is the slowest of the three species, in 15 posts (total) they begin to breed causing all of the techniques using them to go down by 1-rank for 5 posts (total), after which they receive a +1 to the rank of their techniques for 15 posts (total) before it goes back to its normal strength for 15 posts (total) before another breeding cycle begins.
- Gender Differences: The Rhino Hive has an abundance of males in comparison to females (70: 30 ratio) however despite the small number females are much more deadlier than the males as their horns are in actuality a stinger which upon biting opponents enough injects them with the chakra loss virus. This virus incubates inside the opponents body for 1 topic (or 30 posts total) before manifesting in the next topic unless the user is able to get medical treatment using Delicate Illness extraction within the incubation period, or with the cure which can only be created by analyzing and studying the virus before using Delicate Illness extraction while injecting the afflicted with the cure which is extremely difficult (Req. Medical Kinjutsu) unless the user is a Medical Nin with Virus release.

D - 6,000
C - 12,000
B - 18,000
A - 24,000
S - 30,000

* Scarab Breed: This unique species of Kikaichu have powerful mandibles which allow them to tear flesh from opponents as this species primary food source is dead and/or rotting flesh however they are also able consume living flesh if the need arises. Because of this techniques using the Scarab Breed do not require chakra prices but instead use physical recoil. They are more eager when used alongside Offensive techniques moving at 2 Tier Levels higher, whereas they are slower when used with Supplementary & Defensive techniques moving at 1 Tier Level lower. The Scarab breed have also gained an additional sense when it comes to potential food sources as they can sense the location and position of dead matter within a topic.
- Breeding Cycle: The Scarab breeding cycle is the least stable of the three Kikaichu species, initially from the start of the topic Scarab breeds have a +1 to their techniques, however in 5 posts (total) they begin to breed causing all techniques that they are used in sync with to be lowered by 2 ranks for 3 posts (total), it then the techniques have no boosts or penalties for 10 posts (total). After which the techniques that use Scarab Kikaichu are increased by +1 for 5 posts (total) before the breeding cycle repeats.
- Gender Differences: The Scarab Hive has an equal amount of males and females (50:50) within the user's body this is mainly due to a male and female Scarab Kikaichu having little to no differences other than wing color, as males have lighter wings while females have darker wings. Both are able to track dead matter however only males are chakra sensing while females have compensated for that by also being able to track life signatures of opponents equal and below the rank of the user.

D - 5,000
C - 10,000
B - 20,000

S - 40,000

* Locust Breed: This unique breed of Kikaichu are the fastest out of the three species and feed almost exclusively on plant matter however they can also use chakra as sustenance when that is not available albeit the former being their preferred food source. They move 2 Tier Levels faster when utilized with supplementary techniques whereas due to their timidity they move 1-rank slower when used with Offensive or Defensive techniques. Because of this they are devastating to landscapes as if they are not reigned in by their user a Locust Kikaichu hive can devastate acres and acres of plant life as each eats equivalent to its body weight.
- Breeding Cycle: The Locust breeding cycle is the fastest out of the three species as in 3 posts (total) they under go breeding causing the techniques using them to drop by 1-rank for 3 posts (total). After which the techniques are raised by 1-rank above normal rank for another 3 posts (total) before going before returning to normal strength as the breeding cycle resets.
- Gender Differences: The Locust Hive has more females than males (90:10 ratio), this is due to the males being flightless however to compensate for that their sensing abilities have been specialized being able to naturally track the locations of females ants even across vasts distances at the cost of using the user's chakra up more quickly. It costs 1 D-rank each post to locate targets who have female Locust Kikaichu placed on them allowing the user to track them outside of the topic but within the same area. It costs 1 C-rank each post to locate targets who have female Locust Kikaichu placed on them allowing the user to track them outside of the topic within the same land. It costs 1 B-rank each post to locate targets who have female Locust Kikaichu placed on them allowing the user to track them outside of the topic within different lands.

[b]Description:[/b] A Shinto clan member's Ninhachi differ in behavior in their larva and adult stages. Unlike the other types of Shinto clan insects, excluding Shisupaidā, Ninhachi can actually exist outside of a host body in special incubation centers called hives for an indefinite amount of time. Usually hives consist of solely adult Ninhachi and can be summoned without the blood price by the host Shinto clan member. Hives can be made out of pretty much anything however hives made out of dead humans will retain their chakra and are the only type of hive able to sustain larvae. These types of hive require a fresh dead body which hasn't been drained of blood with the Shinto clan member placing their hands on the potential hive and causing Ninhachi to flood from their body to prepare it halving the Shinto clan members max hive until the next breeding cycle. It takes 10 posts (total) for a Ninhachi larvae to be old enough to molt after which they become dormant for 5 posts (total) before they molt and become an adult Ninhachi. Ninhachi do not possess breeding cycles in fact unless they possess a hive they will not breed at all leading inexperienced Ninhachi user's helpless if they do not have methods to facilitate the breeding of their insects. However in light of that Ninhachi breed much faster than the other insect types when hives are present. In addition the ratio between Larvae and Adult Ninhachi vary with every member of the Shinto clan.

Moth Ninhachi
These are a unique species of Ninhachi which possess large wings which gives them a moth like appearance. They have lost the ability to manipulate their size in exchange for perfecting the toxin that the base species possessed becoming able to even consume other toxins and convert them into nutrients for sustenance. Both gender's have the ability to release noxious vapor from their wings with the male variant causing hallucinations while the female, sensory loss.

Mosquito Ninhachi
These are a unique species of Ninhachi which have elongated needle like mouths and an overall smaller size in comparison to the other Ninhachi breed's causing them to resemble mosquito's in appearance. Their mouth's have a dual function being useful for both combat and feeding, staying true to their name they consume a diet of exclusively blood however this is only for females as the males and larvae feed on nectar and minerals found in water respectively. Both gender's have the ability of flight while males have the ability to emit extremely high frequency sounds which are undetectable yet register as sounds to opponents.

Wasp Ninhachi
These are a unique species of Ninhachi which possess thick exoskeletons and large powerful stingers. They are highly predatory and are notorious for killing Shishupaida when trying to rear their young. Wasp's are also gender dimorphic however the wasp hive contains one resident queen which is able to overide the genetics of all the worker's, the males are called Drones and specialize in fighting and killing other insect threats while feeding on they honey that the resident queen creates.

- Life Cycle: Like the normal species, Moth Ninhachi have different life stages the first being larvae which feed exclusively on soil however produce various poisons as waste products while the adults feed on poison however also possess the ability to feed on chakra given the opportunity. Likewise Moth Ninhachi larvae can only be sustained by hives and it takes them 5 posts (total) to become old enough to create a pupa where they will remain in stasis for 10 posts (total) before emerging as adult Moths.
- Gender Differences: The Moth Hive has an equal amount of males and females (50:50), however both have notable differences. The males have the ability to release the same hallucinogen that the normal Ninhachi have from their wings while moving through the air. On the other hand the females have the ability to release a different toxin variant, likewise while moving through the air, which causes sensory loss when victims are exposed to large doses of it.

D - 10,000
C - 20,000
B - 30,000
A - 40,000
S - 50,000

*Mosquito Breed: This unique species of Kikaichu resemble small mosquito and possess a long mouth in which they use to pierce victims in order to gain their primary nutrient source, namely blood. They are notoriously fast and due of their feeding habits they are used best in sync with offensive techniques moving 3 Tier Levels higher while moving at reduced speeds when used with Defensive (2 Tier Level Slower) or Supplementary (1 Tier Levels Slower) techniques.
- Life Cycle: The Mosquito Ninhachi have two different life stages the first being aquatic feeding on the minerals inside of their marine habitats, they spend the shortest time as larvae out of the three Ninhachi species with them becoming old enough to molt in a mere 3 posts (total). They are dormant during this molting phase for 1 post (total) after which they become adults 1 post (total) later the entire process taking 5 posts (total). Because of this fast growth stage the Mosquito Ninhachi larvae are not generally used for techniques with the bulk being comprised of the use of adults. Due to the aquatic nature of the mosquito Ninhachi they are only able to be kept in special hives which are comprised of water or in fresh corpses in which they absorb the nutrients that are cycling through the blood of the victims. In the later case they mature slower being old enough to molt in 5 posts (total) have a dormancy of 4 posts (total) and emerge as adults 1 post (total) after that.
- Gender Differences: The Mosquito Hive has an abundance of females (85:15), the females are actually the only ones that consume blood while the males prefer to consume nectar from plants. However the males have the ability to emit high frequency sounds which are picked up by human ears but not registered as sounds making them highly effective when used properly in conjunction with other techniques.

D - 10,000
C - 20,000
B - 30,000
A - 60,000
S - 90,000

* Wasp Breed: This unique breed of Ninhachi are the most durable out of the three species their exoskeletons being very thick but because of the thickness they are also rather slow however it is compensated by their powerful stingers which they use with much skill. When used in conjunction with Defensive Techniques they are capable of moving 3 Tier Levels higher while moving at reduced speeds when used with Supplementary (2 Tier Level Slower) or Defensive (1 Tier Levels Slower) techniques. The wasp breed is rather notorious for killing and then laying eggs inside of Shishupaida making a Ninhachi who has obtained this species incapable of housing those insects within their Host Body, only through external hives, which comes as a direct parallel to the original order of things in which Shishupaida prey on Ninhachi.
- Life Cycle: The Wasp Ninhachi are rather vicious even as larvae as adults will lay eggs inside of victims and upon hatching the eggs will each the victim from the inside out. The amount of time it spends in its larvae stage varies on the size of the host hive and it possesses benefits to this incubation period. When shishupaida are used the incubation time for the eggs to hatch is 2 posts (total) and it takes 1 post (total) to eat the shishupaida before they emerge, upon emerging they instantly molt into Wasp Ninhachi adults. When small sized creatures are used the incubation time for the egg to hatch is 4 posts (total) and it takes 2 posts (total) to eat the host hive before they emerge from inside the hives husk of a body. When small sized creatures are used the incubation time for the eggs to hatch is 6 posts (total) and it takes 3 posts (total) to eat the host hive before they emerge from inside the hive's husk of a body. When human sized creatures are used the incubation time for the eggs to hatch is 8 posts (total) and it takes 4 posts (total) to eat the host hive before they emerge, When medium sized creatures (S-XL) are used the incubation time for the eggs to hatch ranges from 10 to 40 posts (total) and it takes 5 to 20 posts (total) to eat the host hive before they emerge. When large sized creatures (S-XL) are used the incubation time for the eggs to hatch ranges from 50 to 80 posts (total) and it takes 25 to 40 posts (total) to eat the host hive before they emerge. Finally when colossus or titanic sized creatures are used the incubation time for the eggs to hatch is 100 or 200 posts (total) and it takes 50 or 100 posts (total) to eat the host hive before they emerge. The different sizes of Hives give rise to differing amount of Wasp Ninhachi, each Shisupaida used creates 5 Wasp Ninhachi, whereas each Shisupaida Variant used creates 2 Wasp Ninhachi, each Tiny host creates 1/4th the size of a D-rank Shinto Host Body, Small create 1/2th, Humanoid create as many Wasp Ninhachi as would be in a D-rank Shinto Host Body, Medium (S-XL) create 2x-3x, Large create 4x-5x, Colossus create 7x & Titanic create 9x as many Wasp Ninhachi as would be in a D-rank Shinto Host Body.
- Gender Differences: The Wasp Hive has an abundance of females (90:10) with 1 fertile queen who becomes such by actively eating the most eggs while simultaneously laying her own to ensure that her own offspring become born. Once this competition ends the other females are subjugated to worker roles and their genetics are over ridden by hormone secretions causing them to still remain fertile however any offspring they produce share the same genetics as the current Queen Wasp. This process is rather abnormal however it ensures that the strongest female becomes Queen and as such gets to create offspring. The Queen is the only one who doesn't lay eggs as she simply dwells within the Shinto clan member and creates unique secretions that resemble honey, as all female Wasp Ninhachi are able to mate and inject their eggs into hosts alongside a full body paralyzing agent which causes creatures to lose the ability to move while still remaining alive and able to feel pain. Male Wasp Ninhachi on the other hand are used to scout out future hives and feed off of the honey the Queen produces they do however possess toxin's in their stinger which specializes in fights with other insects of the Shinto clan causing techniques featuring Wasp Ninhachi to be treated as higher rank than they are normally..

Shisupaidā *Uncommon*
These are a species of small winged spider-like insects that live inside the body of a Shinto Clan member and feed off of chakra just like Kikaichu However while in the body of the host they feed on Ninhachi until their are none left. Because of that the Shinto clan member will not be able to use techniques that require Ninhachi once these insects nest inside their bodies. They share the size manipulation abilities of Ninhachi as well as a unique additional ability of creating extremely strong webs that can be launched at opponents trapping them in place. About a 20 percent of the Shinto clan members have these insects living in their body due to the fact they are introduced into the Shinto's body when they become Chunin however if they originally had Ninhachi in their body the Ninhachi are all killed by the Shishupaida.

Few Shinto are inhabited by Shishupaida, this is due to them being gained upon reaching a minimum of B-Rank. In regards to Shishupaida however depending on the skill level of the user the size of the hive within them varies, all Shinto use hives to determine how many insects they have available for techniques. [b]Description:[/b] A Shinto clan member's Shishupaida differ in behavior in their larva and adult stages. Unlike the other types of Shinto clan insects, excluding Ninhachi (Which they prey on), Shishupaida can actually exist outside of a host body in special incubation centers called hives for an indefinite amount of time. Usually hives consist of solely adult Shishupaida and can be summoned without the blood price by the host Shinto clan member. Unlike Ninhachi however these hives are made out of extremely dense web like cocoons spun by the adults however they can also be made around a food source, which are the only types of hives which can support Spiderlings. These types of hive require am immobilized/incapacitated living target which hasn't been drained of blood with the Shinto clan member placing their hands on the potential hive and causing Shishupaida to flood from their body to prepare it halving the Shinto clan members max hive until the next breeding cycle. This process takes a variable amount of time to fully create the hive for sustaining larvae and the number of larvae compatable hives a Shinto can make depend similar to the former on the Shinto's rank. A Shinto clan member's Shisupaidā have the ability to create webs which in addition to being extremely sticky can also have a varying amount of effects, the Sticky type costs fatigue to produce while the other variants cost equal-rank chakra however both are capable of dealing either Non-elemental or Elemental Hybrid based damage. However only females can produce the other variants the males can only produce the sticky type, the strength of the Web initially only prevents it from snapping from D-rank and below strength tiers, it starts however an additional weekly 1000 Word Training topic can strengthen it up to S-rank levels (4 times re-training)

The reason they are immune is due to the complexity of the insect brain since they are governed by primal instinct rather than logic or reasoning like a human brain. The Spiderling form of Shishupaida feed on a minuscule amount of chakra while inside of the Shinto clan members body. Spiderlings are capable of consuming ambient chakra from victims at varying levels depending on the amount in a technique this determines the rate as well as the speed of consumption. On the other hand adult Shishupaida only consume flesh/Ninhachi and as a result techniques utilizing them always have a blood price however in the case of techniques which convert Spiderlings to adults to attack these techniques consume chakra equal to the rank of the technique.

[b]Description:[/b] A Shinto clan member's adult and in rare cases even Spiderlings have the ability to alter their size open exiting the hosts body. With size is proportional strength and according to rank the size in which the bugs can grow is affected. Like Ninhachi, Shishupaida spend a considerable amount of time in their juvenile forms (Spiderlings) because of that a Shinto clan member possessing these insects has a varying amount of techniques which are used to help them cope with the changes in their insects physiology. It takes 15 posts (total) for a Spiderling to be old enough to molt after which they become dormant for 5 posts (total) before they molt and become an adult Shishupaida. Shishupaida do not possess breeding cycles in fact unless they possess a hive they will not breed at all leading inexperienced Shishupaida user's helpless if they do not have methods to facilitate the breeding of their insects. However in light of that Shishupaida breed much faster than the other insect types when hives are present. In addition the ratio between Spiderlings and Adult Shishupaida vary with every member of the Shinto clan.

Variant Shishupaida Breeds
(Req. B-rank & Clan Head Approval. Each Req. 1000 Word Weekly Training to Master.)

Widow Shishupaida
These are a unique species of Shishupaida which are smaller in size and possess the ability to produce a deadly neurotoxin which permanently kills off the nerve ending in an afflicted victims body. In addition they have lost their ability to manipulate their size in battle and feed on Kikaichu killing all of them within a Shinto clan user's body if this hive is introduced later on. The males are able to spin an envenomed web with the deadly neurotoxin imbued in it while females possess the ability to track males and have an advanced variant of the neurotoxin.

Mantis Shishupaida
These are a unique species of Shishupaida which resemble eight legged Mantis and are highly predatory feeding on other insects most notably Locust Ninhachi, to small animals, flesh and even themselves. They are one of the faster types of Shinto Insects and possess the ability to shed their exoskeleton for cloaking techniques. Males have lost both the size augmentation and web spinning while females have only retained web spinning being able to make elemental webs which correspond with their hive's chakra natures.

Tick Shishupaida
These are a unique species of Shishupaida which possess thick exoskeletons and sharp legs which double as feeding organs due to them possessing undeveloped mandibles. There primary food sources are blood and chakra with both genders possessing parasites which assist with the consumption of these food supplies for their counterparts. They have retained the size augmentative abilities however they have lost the web spinning ability that normal Shishupaida possess.

[b]Description:[/b] This technique can only be granted by Sangil's direct influence on another Shinto Member creating a bastardized version of his signature Shinu technique for the clan member. Upon subsequent parentage, the clan member will find that their children will retain this trait as it is dominant over the original Shishupaida DNA. This technique further splits Shishupaida into three additional types some having gender differences others none upon receiving this augmentation any of the three new Shishupaida species can use the user's original Shishupaida techniques.

* Widow Breed: This unique species of Shishupaida resemble black widows and have lost the ability to manipulate their size in battle, however they have instead specialized on creating a unique neurotoxin which literally permanently kills off the nerves in the afflicted target within 20 posts (total). Widow Shishupaida exclusively feed on male Widow Shishupaida as well as Kikaichu and even the advance breeds of the latter however they are very frail and aren't useful for prolonged combat with other insect types. Due to these characteristics they are capable of moving 3 Tier Levels faster when used with Supplementary techniques, in comparison to moving 1 Tier Level slower when used with Offensive or Supplementary techniques.
- Life Cycle: Like the normal species, Widow Shishupaida have prolonged larval stage lifespans with them possessing the longest time until maturity out of the advanced Shishupaida breeds, it takes 40 posts (total) before they undergo molting to become adults however once they have reached adulthood they gain access to an additional toxin which is the lethal variant that kills opponents within 10 posts (each of affected individual's posts) of coming in contact with it while permanently killing off their nerve endings within half the time period.
- Gender Differences: The Widow Hive has an much larger amount of amount of males in proportion to females (85:15), and both have notable differences. The males do not possess the advanced variant of the toxin and possess the ability to spin toxic webs which contain the normal variant of the toxin that Widow Shishupaida possess. While the females possess the advanced variant and possess the ability to track the male variants of their species for better mating and hunting purposes.

B - 3,000 - Ninhachi (1-rank Higher)
A - 4,000 - Shisupaida (1-rank Higher)
S - 5,000 - Widow Shisupaida (Equal Rank)

* Mantis Breed: This unique species of Shishupaida resemble small Praying Mantis with eight legs instead of six and are extremely predatory and possess the most diverse feeding habits ranging from other insects, preferring Ninhachi with Locust type being the most preferred, to small animals and flesh and finally even themselves given the opportunity to face another hive. Due to these characteristics they are capable of moving 3 Tier Levels faster when used with Offensive techniques, in comparison to moving 1 Tier Level slower when used with Defensive or Supplementary techniques.
- Life Cycle: Mantis Shishupaida spend the shortest time in their juvenile forms spending an average of 15-35 posts (total) as them. The reason for this fluctuation scales directly with the strength of the molted adults as they have through a unique evolutionary process been able to control the overall formidably of young who have been allowed to spend more time as juveniles and survive. every 5 posts (total) juveniles are allowed to linger before molting into adults bolsters their movement speed by 1 tier level, capping out at 5 Tier Levels with the full 35 posts (total)..
- Gender Differences: The Mantis Hive has an abundance of males (65:35), the males possess the ability to quickly molt while remaining inside the discarded exo-skeleton for stealth based techniques which they consume the chakra of the user to facilitate, but have lost both the size augmentation and web spinning abilities of normal shishupaida. The female Mantis have only retained the ability to spin webs, as well as have gained the ability to create elemental versions of webs using in addition to the natural affinity of their hive but also an additional 2 versions which are resultant of crosses between their hives elemental affinities.

S - 15,000 - Mantis Shisupaida (Equal Rank)

*Tick Breed: This unique breed of Shishupaida are the most durable out of the three species their exoskeletons being very thick granting them protection, they do not possess well developed mandibles mainly because of their feeding habits which consists of blood and chakra. The way they absorb both of them is through their sharp legs which can be used to pierce skin and rapidly begin to drain out chakra along with the blood of the victim. They have retained the size augmentative abilities of the normal shishupaida but have lost the web spinning. Due to these characteristics they are capable of moving 3 Tier Levels faster when used with Defensive techniques, in comparison to moving 1 Tier Level slower when used with Offensive or Supplementary techniques.
- Life Cycle: The Tick Breed has the most balanced growth period in it's larval form with it totaling at 30 posts (total) before they molt into adults. Adults possess the abilities of their young however also possess small pouches on their body allowing them to carry up to 10 young on their body while moving. Because of that they are useful for depositing more of them on an opponents body before they detach or are killed so that the opponent is quickly overwhelmed with numbers.
- Gender Differences: The Tick Hive has a balanced amount of male and females (50:50) and they possess only one notable difference namely the disease that they host in their bodies as well as their diets. Male's consume chakra and possess a parasite in their body which targets the blood platelets in the victim's body causing them to bleed out more easily and wounds to heal slower (-1 rank to healing & regenerative techniques used on or by the victim). Females consume blood and possess a parasite in their body which targets the chakra coils in the victim's body causing them to use up more chakra when trying to preform techniques due to damaged chakra coils. Boton *Rare*
These are a species of extremely small flies. These flies are parasitic feeding on the blood of their hosts while inside of them however they do not mesh well with Shishupaida and will siphon large quantities of the hosts blood until they die if they have Shishupaida in their body or are attempting to store them inside of them after Boton have already taken up residence. Boton all possess parasites in their body and males and females are exactly the same in possession of said parasite which causes those bit to have the wounds unable to close naturally or through healing unless the parasite is removed from their blood stream. This results in victims bleeding to death from injuries sustained from Boton due to their food source they are unable to be stored in inorganic hives unless it is filled with blood to keep up their upkeep. About a 5 percent of the Shinto clan members have these insects living in their body due to the fact they are introduced into the Shinto's body when they become Chunin however if they originally had Shishupaida in their body the Host is instantly killed by the Boton.

[b]Description:[/b] A Shinto clan member's Boton do not differ in behavior in their larva and adult stages the only difference is that the larvae are aquatic and lack wings while the adult Boton resemble nano-sized flies. Unlike the other types of Shinto clan insects, Boton can actually exist outside of their host for finite amounts of time, these hives can be comprised of various storage objects like flasks, jugs or gourds, the only constant being that it has to be air tight with a porous lid for air flow and have enough blood in it to comfortably support their development. Once it has been gathered the user can deposit a set amount of Boton which live in the hives and instead of drawing on the user for sustenance draw on the hive thus freeing space within the Primary Hive. Likewise their breeding cycle can be triggered using hives for a more efficient use of the small quantities of Boton within the hives. Unlike normal bodies when Hives are not sealed within storage scrolls the Boton consume 1 D-rank each post (total) for maintenance however techniques from Boton in hives are always 1-rank stronger. When consuming blood in hives the blood does not replenish through new topics and must be replenished IC (Excluding Training topics) because of this the number of hives one can possess is only limited to the amount one can carry as well as the number one can consistently provide for. A Shinto clan member's Boton are of two genders and they both have vital roles, females are usually less abundant than males (30:70 ratio) and share the same sort of parasite and structure as a male the only difference being the food source of the two. Although they technically don't use stamina as fuel for their techniques they are somewhat stressful to use and thus lower the fatigue limit as compensation which is why they take 1-rank less amount of Fatigue as a normal ranked ninjustu would consume (Aka a B-rank Boton using Ninjutsu consumes -2 Fatigue). Female Boton consume the White Blood Cells in a targets body weakening their immune system while a Male Boton consumes the Red Blood Cells in a target's body lowering the amounts of oxygen the victim can get into their body within their plasma. Using that in sync with the parasite which targets blood platelets and the victims blood is siphoned from their body leaving just water and trace minerals making a lethal combination.

[b]Name:[/b] Mutualistic Destruction Insect - Boton Life-Cycle
[b]Classification:[/b] Kinjutsu
[b]Rank:[/b] D-rank
[b]Class:[/b] Passive
[b]Range:[/b] N/A

[b]Description:[/b] Boton have a flexible life-cycle, unless needed a Boton can remain in it's larval form it's entire life without ever becoming an adult, adults are the only one's who can breed however they too can at any point shed their wings and molt to return to their larval form. A Shinto Clan members Boton have a unique breeding cycle which isn't based on time period but on available food source. Boton under normal circumstance absorb tiny amounts of blood in the user's blood stream that it is counterbalanced by the naturally blood production in their body. However one can increase the Breeding Cycle of their Boton by upping the amount of blood they consume causing them to siphon a D-rank amount of blood each post (total) boosting the strength of Boton using techniques by 1. The Shinto clan member can further increase the consumption rate to siphoning a C-rank amount of blood each post (total) boosting the strength of Boton using techniques by 2. This boosted effect lasts as long as the siphoning is occurring however Boton are not suicidal and when the user gets dangerously low (C-rank of blood left) they stop siphoning and return to the usual amount while waiting for their host to recover. In addition the ratio between Larvae & Adult as well as Male & Female vary with every member of the Shinto clan.
"Insert Name" Larvae/Adult Ratio is = (Value:Value)
"Insert Name" Male/Female Ratio is = (Value:Value)

Variant Boton Breeds
(Req. B-rank & Clan Head Approval. Each Req. 1000 Word Weekly Training to Master.)

Glow Boton
These are a unique species of Boton which resemble tiny fireflies and have the unique ability to feed on energy sources through their energy absorbent "glower" while being protected thanks to their thick exoskeletons. Firefly Boton are able to siphon this energy out of materials for sustenance and can even drain the elements out of Energy Based chakra based techniques resulting in the techniques being converted back into ambient chakra.

Cicada Boton
These are a unique species of Boton which resemble tiny cicada and possess the ability to consume water. Males can consume fresh water while female Cicada Boton prefer to consume blood plasma due to it being rich with minerals. They possess highly developed mandibles and a powerful probscus used for piercing objects get to food.

Dragon Boton
This is a unique breed of Boton which were created specially due to the Shinto Clan's inability to compete against chakra intensive clans. Dragon Boton have dense exoskeletons which are lightweight but durable and powerful wings for high speed movement and their chitin is highly conductive to chakra. They are the second strongest insect type available to non clan leaders or clan heirs. A side effect is that they kill their host if they possess advanced versions of Jasasori Hives however they coexist with other Boton Hives.
Variant Shisupaida Passives (Copy only 1 out of the 3, each variant takes it's own technique slot):
Code:

[b]Name:[/b] Mutualistic Destruction Insect: Division
[b]Classification:[/b] Kinjutsu
[b]Rank:[/b] D-rank
[b]Class:[/b] Passive
[b]Range:[/b] Self

[b]Description:[/b] This technique can only be granted by Sangil's direct influence on another Shinto Member creating a bastardized version of his signature Shinu technique for the clan member. Upon subsequent parentage, the clan member will find that their children will retain this trait as it is dominant over the original Boton DNA. This technique further splits Boton into three additional types some having gender differences others none upon receiving this augmentation any of the three new Boton species can use the user's original Boton techniques.

* Glow Breed: This unique species of Boton resemble miniature Fireflies all of which are naturally more resilient than the other Boton types an energy absorbent "glower" near their rear end which can also be used as a light source in darkness and to track ultraviolet and infrared emissions of light and radiation. Due to these characteristics they are capable of moving 2 Tier Levels faster when used with Supplementary techniques, in comparison to moving at normal speed when used with Defensive or moving slower when used with Offensive techniques.
- Breeding Cycle: The Glow breeding cycle is dependent on food supply and eggs are only made through special techniques, and hatch in the next topic resulting in Larval forms which resemble extremely small glowworms. When fed an energy source equal to the rank of the hive they rapidly mature to their winged adult forms. Adults can be fed energy based chakra reducing the rank of the users energy based chakra techniques by 1 while increasing the power of Glow Boton techniques by 1 this can exchanged for an equal rank chakra price every 10 posts increasing the amount fed to a cap of -3 to elemental chakra based techniques and +3 to Glow Boton based techniques. Once even the basic version is triggered it lasts till the end of the topic.
- Gender differences: The Glow Hive has a 35:65 male to female ratio with females being more in abundance than males. While both are winged the only difference is on the food source consumed, male Glow Boton feed on energy sources that are physical or natural based while female Glow Boton feed on energy sources chakra or spiritual based. In their larval form they retain the ability to feed on energy sources however if that is unavailable they can feed on the blood of their host to undergo forced maturation. All male and female Glow Breed Boton are fertile.
[u]Shinto Skill Level (Rank) - Size of Hive (Glow Boton)[/u]
D - 5,000
C - 10,000
B - 20,000
A - 40,000
S - 60,000

* Cicada Breed: This unique breed of Boton resemble tiny Cicada with powerful mandibles and probiscus though they are rather slow hive due to conserving most of their strength for piercing objects however they are likewise powerful burrowers. Due to these characteristics they are capable of moving 2 Tier Levels faster when used with Offensive techniques, in comparison to moving at normal speed when used with Defensive or moving slower when used with Supplementary techniques.
- Breeding Cycle: The Cicada Breeding Cycle is only a small part in their lifespan, due to most of their lifespan being spent in their nymph stage which are wingless burrowers which feed primarily on tree sap however may also feed on saline solution if the former is unavailable. Breeding only occurs through specialized techniques and Cicada remain in their Nymph forms for 10 topics (Excluding OOC and Training topics) before shedding their exoskeleton and becoming the winged adults. Once they are adults breeding can be triggered through siphoning of blood plasma by females resulting in dehydration using the blood limit but can be replenished by drinking freshwater and saline solution in battle. Once triggered all Cicada Boton techniques receive a +1 while siphoning 1 D-rank of blood plasma each post (total), it can be increase to +2 and +3 while siphoning 1 C-rank and 1 B-rank of blood plasma each post (total) while ceasing once the hive has dropped to 1 B-rank of blood plasma the buffs only being effective when the siphoning is underway.
- Gender Differences: The Cicada Boton hive is dimorphic having a 40/60 ratio of males and females, with males feeding exclusively on fresh water while Females feed exclusively on blood plasma. They do so by piercing the body of a victim or food source and siphoning out their food through their probiscus. Males are able to create sounds of various pitches and intensity with many being able to even deafen those within the vicinity, females are able to track the males and both are capable of echolocation.

D - 10,000
C - 20,000
B - 30,000
A - 60,000
S - 90,000

* Dragon Breed: This unique breed was specially made by splicing the genetics of chakra sensitive insects and dragonfly species resulting one of the strongest insect types in the Shinto Clan. Dragon Boton are powerful fliers and have dense chakra conductive exoskeletons which allow them to be used as a medium to transmit chakra based techniques. Due to these characteristics they are capable of moving 2 Tier Levels faster when used with Offensive techniques, in comparison to moving at normal speed when used with Supplementary or moving 1 tier level slower when used with Defensive techniques.
- Breeding Cycle: The Dragon Hives breeding cycle is unique in that they breed constantly with no boosts to rank however constantly release a pheromone which inhibits the boosting effects of the Advanced Shinto Clan insects while completely stagnating the breeding cycles of the normal variants of Shinto Clan insects. Because of their pheromones when consumed by Chimera Ants their genetic information does not pass on to the Chimera Ant queen making them and Emperor Jasasori the only two completely save from the Chimera Ant breeding style.
- Gender Differences: Dragon Hives are dimorphic with a 25:75 male to female ratio with females consuming blood and larvae consuming chakra. Males however are only able to consume chakra rich blood (Blood Release) however in the absence of it can subsist on stamina. The commonality between all three is once they have fed, they are able to inform the hive which chakra natures exist in the target as well as denote which they have the highest proficiency in. All types of Dragon Boton are able to detect and track chakra as a whole and chakra signatures of specific individuals can be tracked even under concealment upon blood being sampled. Females retain the platelet destroying parasite of the original Boton species while Larvae contain a parasite which causes the victim to experience chakra leakage making hiding ones chakra signature impossible unless fixed by a med-nin identifying the parasite and removing it with Delicate Illness Extraction Technique. Victims of the larvae parasite suffer constant chakra drain equal to 1 D-rank each post (total) and pay an increased chakra price (Affinity lowered by 1 Level) when using techniques which require chakra.

Jasasori *Very Rare*
These are a species of extremely small, winged scorpion-like insects. About 4 percent of Shinto clan members have these insects living in their body from birth and they are the second rarest insects of the Shinto with only a select few of members possessing them at a time usually all related to each other. They also feed on chakra like the others however they possess the abilities of the Kikaichu as well as as gender dimorphism. The Male possess the ability to shoot acid at opponents while the females possess an ability which destroys their enemies' cells once they come in contact with them, causing excruciating pain in the process. Unlike the Male Jasasori, which are able to act somewhat independently of the user, the females can only be transferred on to a victim's body by direct physical contact, though only a mere touch from the user's skin is required as the bugs can circumvent most forms of clothing

Those who are lucky enough have one of the rarer breeds of insects which go by the name Jasasori which resemble nano-sized winged scorpions. In regards to Jasasori however depending on the skill level of the user the size of the hive within them varies, all Shinto use hives to determine how many insects they have available for techniques. The first hive introduced into a Shinto's body is known as the Primary Hive with each Shinto being able to intergate a new hive of the same species with every rank up for a 500 Word Weekly Training Topic. Techniques involving Jasasori utilize additional costs in the number of arachnids which determines the power as well as size scope of the technique, due to the parasitic destruction insects being alive when killed in battle it lowers the effectiveness of techniques which use them and as a result limit the amount of techniques and Shinto is capable of using with that particular species of insect.

[b]Description:[/b] An Shinto clan member's Jasasori have breeding cycles which allow the power of their techniques to fluctuate. Usually their bugs have a stable growth which doesn't affect use of their techniques during the beginning of the match however as the match goes on in 15 posts (total) the Jasasori undergo breeding which causes their techniques to go down 1-rank and this breeding cycle lasts for 2 posts (total) before going back to normal strength for 3 posts (total) after which due to the newer and stronger generation eat their parents which causes their techniques go up 1-rank which lasts for another 15 posts (total) before the whole breeding process happens over again. A Shinto clan member's Jasasori are of two genders and they both have vital roles, females are usually less abundant than males (40:60 ratio) and both have differing abilities. Females have no wings while the males while possessing wings are hampered by the short time period they can survive outside of a host body and thus they are used in combination with one another to maximize their effectiveness however every Shinto's hive is unique in the exact ratioing. Every breeding cycle there are always enough Females to ensure the next generation assuming the entire hive is not destroyed in addition due to the make up of Jasasori, prolonged battles results in the hive becoming stronger over time however this resets every new topic.

[b]Description:[/b] An Shinto clan member's Parasitic Destruction Arachnids are immune to genjutsu and have the ability to break the Shinto clan member out of it at differing speeds dependent on the Shinto clan members rank. The reason they are immune is due to the complexity of the insect brain since they are governed by primal instinct rather than logic or reasoning like a human brain. Each insect feeds on a minuscule amount of chakra while inside of the Shinto's body due to the antibodies within their blood. Although they technically don't use chakra to fuel for their techniques they tend to eat a bit of the user's chakra as compensation which is why they take 1-rank less amount of chakra as a normal ranked ninjustu would consume. The Jasasori are a special breed of insects used by select members of the Shinto clan as part of their Parasitic Destruction Arachnid Technique. These bugs are known to destroy their enemies' cells, causing excruciating pain in the process however this only applies to the females as they use the cells to gather energy to produce eggs, the males however are able to inject corrosive liquids with their acid being capable of corroding objects and works hand in hand to get rid of things which prevent the females from feasting on flesh. They likewise share the abilities of Kikaichu in terms of tracking and chakra sensory.

[b]Description:[/b] A Shinto Clan member who possesses Jasasori within their body are able to incorporate additional hives dependent on their age the process is rather uncomfortable however despite that it is something every Jasasori using Shinto Clan member must endure when they wish to add additional hives. With each additional hive added at Max rank the amount of Jasasori within said hive is reduced in comparison to the primary, this is due to the limited amount of space within a Shinto Clan members body. However it is a blessing in disguise as due to the Arachnid's filling the Shinto Clan members body sustains injuries such as slashes or stabs the Jasasori can instead bleed out of the wound along with the blood reducing the blood loss from techniques. This is based on the Shinto Clan members endurance tiers and the amount of Jasasori they can afford to expend when taking an injury.

Variant Jasasori Breeds
(In order to obtain the Variant breeds one must first obtain Clan Head Approval. After which they must write a 1000 word training topic to fully gain control over the Centipede or Millipede Jasasori while a 1500 word training topic to fully gain control over the Emperor Jasasori type.)

Centipede Jasasori
This is a unique species of Jasasori which resemble miniature wingless centipedes and use their unique venom claws to prey on anything organic other than themselves. They are the fastest variation of Jasasori and although being blind are able to track objects by means of vibrations. Females have retained the cellular destruction ability of normal female Jasasori and have a unique numbing venom. Males on the other hand have larger venom claws and specialize in hunting and killing other insect threats.

Millipede Jasasori
This is a unique species of Jasasori which consist of finned miniature millipedes which are amphibious in nature and possess thick exoskeletons and can curl into balls to further resist damage. They can freely breath in aquatic and non-toxic liquids such as blood & oil and both male and females feed exclusively on chakra.

Emperor Jasasori
This is a unique breed of Jasasori specially made for dealing with most types of Shinto Clan insects. They possess thick scales, powerful mandibles and claws with a powerful tail which secrets two deadly parasitic organisms that are gender specific along with a degenerative sequence which lies in their DNA which activates upon consumption by other insects. This is the strongest insect type available to the non clan leaders and clan heirs. A side effect of Emperor Jasasori is that they kill Shishupaida hives that are introduced into the host body however they coexist with other Jasasori types.
Variant Jasasori Passives (Only Copy 1 of the 3, each variant takes it's own tech slot):
Code:

[b]Name:[/b] Parasitic Destruction Arachnid: Division
[b]Classification:[/b] Kinjutsu
[b]Rank:[/b] D-rank
[b]Class:[/b] Passive
[b]Range:[/b] Self

[b]Description:[/b] This technique can only be granted by Sangil's direct influence on another Shinto Member creating a bastardized version of his signature Shinu technique for the clan member. Upon subsequent parentage, the clan member will find that their children will retain this trait as it is dominant over the original Jasasori DNA. This technique further splits Jasasori into three additional types some having gender differences others none upon receiving this augmentation any of the three new Jasasori species can use the user's original Jasasori techniques.

* Centipede Breed: This unique species of Jasasori resemble miniature wingless centipedes all of which are naturally faster than the other Jasasori types and possess powerful venom claws in which they use to aid in preying on other animals due to their generalist feeding habits, they will try and eat anything organic if they are able to get their claws on it. Centipede Jasasori move faster when utilized with Offensive & Supplementary techniques while moving normally when used with Defensive techniques.
- Breeding Cycle: The Centipede breeding cycle is longer the original species occurring every 30 posts (total) in which the hatched young will emerge from their eggs and rapidly consume the adults in a survival of the fittest like process. Because the young are stronger than their parents the jutsu of the Jasasori clan member increased by 1 each time they go through a breeding cycle. This ability resets at the end each topic however, fitting with the drawn out combat style of the Jasasori.
- Gender differences: The Centipede Hive has a 40:60 male to female ratio with females being more in abundance than males. While both are wingless they have differing colors with females being dark brown while males are dark red. In addition their body types are different as both are blind and have an additional sensory organ on the base of their tails which is used to sense vibrations in the air in a manner similar to echolocation. Female Centipede Jasasori share the ability to eat victims on a cellular level and a possess a unique venom which results in numbing down the victims pain receptors which causes targets to be unable to feel the damage being done to their body until it is too late. Male Centipede Jasasori on the other hand have much larger jaws and venom claws which are specialized in combat with other insect types namely Kikaichu, Ninhachi & Shishupaida with techniques utilizing Centipede Jasasori being treated as higher rank than normal when pit against them.
[u]Shinto Skill Level (Rank) - Size of Hive (Centipede Jasasori) - Insect Types (Vs Centipede Jasasori)[/u]
D - 4,000 - Kikaichu (3-ranks Higher)
C - 8,000 - Ninhachi (2-ranks Higher)
B - 12,000 - Shishupaida (2-ranks Higher)
A - 16,000 - Variant Kikaichu & Ninhachi (1-rank Higher)
S - 20,000 - Variant Shishupaida (1-rank Higher)

* Millipede Breed: This unique breed of Jasasori resemble finned millipedes which are amphibious by nature and possess armored plates, because of this and the fact that they have multiple legs they are rather slow on land albeit moving far faster on land The Millipede Breed feeds exclusively on chakra and are the most peaceful out of the Shinto clan insects. Due to these characteristics they are capable of moving 2 Tier Levels faster (3 Tier Levels faster underwater) when used with Defensive techniques, while moving at normal speeds (1 Tier level faster underwater) when used with Supplementary techniques, however they move 1 Tier level slower (Normal speed underwater) when used with Offensive techniques.
- Breeding Cycle: The Millipede Breeding Cycle is different from the normal Shinto Clan Breeds in that it occurs every 20 posts (total) however the rank of techniques involving them stays stagnant with it only resulting in the production of more insects for the Shinto clan member to use. In addition contributing chakra towards the production (equal rank per post) rapidly speeds up this breeding process to produce double the normal amount produced via breeding. These additional Millipede Breed Jasasori are able to be stored in gourds over time and are consumed when the Shinto clan member wants to use techniques involving them. The maximum amount of Millipede Breed Jasasori able to be stored at once is based on rank (D = 1.5x, C = 2x, B = 2.5x, A = 3x & S = 4x times the current size of the hive).
- Gender Differences: The Millipede hive are asexual and all female being able to reproduce via Parthenogenesis upon consuming chakra from external sources. All of them are amphibious being able to breath in water and other relatively non-toxic liquids such as oil & blood and possess the ability to survive in high temperatures by curling up into balls the plating on their body extending and wrapping them in dense spheres allowing them to "swim" in dangerous substances like Acid, Boil or Lava. While in this form they are still capable of movement by rolling around which gives them their land based movement speed but they are still deemed slow in comparison to the other Shinto clan insect types.
[u]Shinto Skill Level (Rank) - Size of Hive (Millipede Jasasori)[/u]
D - 5,000
C - 10,000
B - 15,000
A - 20,000
S - 25,000

* Emperor Breed: This unique breed was specially made by splicing the genetics of multiple types of scorpions to produce the most powerful variant capable of dealing with even the most feared of Shinto Clan insects namely the Chimera Ants. They possess thick scales, powerful mandibles and claws with a powerful tail which secrets two deadly parasitic organisms that are gender specific along with a degenerative sequence which lies in their DNA resulting in them being unable to exist outside of a host for long periods of time. Both genders actively hunt and kill other organisms and feed on flesh, in addition they are rather proactive in their disputes with the other Shinto clan insects with techniques involving Emperor Jasasori being treated as higher rank when used against them and Chimera ants being unable to take in their genetic information lest triggering the degenerative DNA sequence which systematically kills all offspring which are produced that contain Emperor Breed genetics. Due to these characteristics they move 2 Tier levels faster when used with Offensive techniques while moving at normal speeds when used with Defensive or Supplementary techniques.
- Breeding Cycle: The Emperor Hive's breeding cycle is the longest out of all the breeding cycles of the Shinto Clan insects requiring 50 posts (total) before one breeding cycle is completed. The young are initially born weaker than the adults and require a new topic (Not including Training and OOC) before they mature. Until maturation they are rather sociable with their parents however they turn cannibalistic upon reaching adult age and consume them, due to being stronger than their predecessors they receive a +1 to techniques which utilize them in combat upon undergoing a full breeding cycle. This continues to stack through topics up capping out at 2-ranks higher however each requires a full breeding cycle to be completed and only manifests in a later topic. If a full breeding cycle is not able to be completed the process as a whole resets and the Emperor Breed Jasasori Hive returns to its original strength.
- Gender Differences: The Emperor Jasasori Hive has a 5:95 male to female ratio with females being in abundance while males are much more scarce, however both variants have the ability to release their digestive juices in jets the highly corrosive acid ranking up with the Hive and it aids them in eating their prey as they can only consume things in liquid form. The females (referred to as Empresses) possess wings and have the ability to inject opponents with parasites in which they share symbiosis with which gradually liquefy the insides of affected individuals over a period of 70 posts (total amount of posts the afflicted individual posts) which spans over topics if the parasite is not identified by a medical nin and removed by Delicate Illness extraction technique. The males (referred two as Emperors) are wingless and are the more deadly than the Empresses due to possessing a unique cocktail of toxins in its stinger which facilitates cell death and kills opponents with 20 posts (total amount of posts the affected individual posts). However the most dangerous aspect of the Emperor is due to the parasite which it has symbiosis with which upon injected into the victim via bite causes them to have leprosy which slowly kills them over a period of 5 topics. It is treatable within the first two topics (initial topic they contract it and the topic right after that) if a medical nin is able to isolate it from the victims cells via an S-rank or above medical technique and them preform delicate illness extraction technique to remove it from their blood stream and organ systems. If not treated by the 3rd topic it becomes unable to be treated and will eventually kill the opponents body. Powerful medical techniques or natural abilities which stimulate constant regeneration or cell division to heal from injuries will stave off the death of the afflicted victim at an equal rank chakra cost each post however their lifespan is halved as a result. This condition can be bypassed by techniques which switch bodies, souls, and other methods of attaining "immortality" by escaping from the afflicted body completely as even a cell afflicted will cause it to spread once again in its un-curable state.
