OOC: Fighting occurred due to encounter based on Kurogane politics and heir decision-making

Today was the day, Gado decided to go all out and ask for a letter of challenge against the other proposed heir potential for the Kurogane clan.  He had a feeling who he thought was the best, one of the tops of the high-tiered people or those of the legacy age. The children of miracles, some of the strongest genin that the ninja world has seen in a while. With such a high level of ninja at the disposal of the republic of five, they had a great future.  Gado was going to face one of those talented people, he's been working hard himself and believed that he had a chance.  His challenge had to be accepted by not only the person but the current head of the Kurogane clan to oversee the match and decide who would be able to take on the mantle of the heir.

Fortunately, this was contestable with them doing what's best for the clan. That translated to the strongest would be able to reign as the head of the Kurogane, any real member of the clan would want to at least try for that title if they believed that they could make it.  He was going to do his best, that's all he could do.

"Phew..."

Gado was there first, mostly shaking a bit while waiting for Praise to come. He already reinforced his bones in a way that would allow him to take some serious punishment for surprise attacks, the state of his armor was something Gado took pride in. Gado took pride in being able to protect people, his defenses and whatnot were some of the best things about him. More members were coming to the underground arena, they were sitting in the audience to watch the fight. However, Gado wanted to be careful to make sure he didn't get knocked out immediately. His parents and siblings were there, that would be crazy and embarrassing. Good thing he was fully fed and ate way more than his fill to be able to focus.  Also, with Gado armored up, he was trying to mentally prepare himself for punishment.

Praise had taken sometime off from her Guardian duties in order to head back to her mother's clan due to them informing her that she would need to be present for some reason or another. Initially she wasn't interested in even going but her mother had shown up at the Guardians of Malice compound and she actually begged her to return with her as it was only fair for her to at least try to participate in her birthright. What said birthright was, a challenge to see if one had what it took to become the clan heir of the Kurogane Clan, a battle against another potential clan member who showed the same promise that she possessed. It got her fighting blood pumping as she was eager to test her mettle against someone who not only was a member of her clan but also had received the honor of working for the Daimyo albeit his being in the Land of Graves.

As such when she walked into the designated area she was full of smiles, and when she saw him get prepared to fight before she arrived she would frown slightly but she understood the need to properly prepared before actually commencing the fight. "Let's have a good fight." Praise said holding out a fist for an air-fist bump, as the tight grip she kept on her sanity started to erode away as she activated her Geist State. She could feel that her opponent was powerful and she didn't want to disappoint the crowd, especially since this would only spread her name further amongst the clan circles but into the political field once she became the clan heir. It was a fight that she cared about solely due to the prestige associated with it not because she actually wanted to run the Kurogane Clan one day. She would assume a rough stance as she nodded towards Gado with an indication that she was ready to begin.

"Yeah, you too. Sorry about the whole armoring thing but it's pretty natural to see me this way.  Also, I met Diana a couple of days ago, we talked a lot about you. Even planned the surprise visit with her."

Gado returned the fistbump with a smile.

"I heard nothing but good things about you. Some of the best of our graduating class. I was never really jealous, but just this once. I want.... them to see that I can be great too! I'm also a legacy ya know?"

Taking a fighting stance as well,  they remained about 20 feet away from each other,  a good amount of space so that they could gather their bearing and not be on top of each other. Once the gong hit, the first thing that Gado did was clap his hands and touch his temple as he moved towards Praise.

Once he got to a reasonable distance as he moved at B-tier speeds and got within  3 feet of praise, Gado performed the dance of the clethra, ejecting a bone sword out of his palm. Once he did so, he slashed down towards Praise's midsection with some S-tier strength backing the attack to have a small test of strength with her.   In addition to the S-tier strength backing it, the bone sword would also have Gado's current resistances and do C-tier life release damage.  With the extension of the sword, it would be about 5 feet currently.

However, even with this, Gado considered it as going easy and feeling out his opponent. Regardless of how she handled it he would feel out her brain patterns and react if appropriately or gain some space with his B rank speed.

"Let's put on a show. I won't disrespect you by not showing you my actual strength, Praise San."

Praise would smile when Gado informed her that Diana was coming to surprise her at the Guardian Compound, she would make sure to pretend as if she didn't know about it rather than reveal that one of her mother's clan members had spoiled it for her. Still her eyes would end up sharpening as her opponent rushed towards her prompting her to match him in speed and mirror his movement using Shadow of the Dancing Leaf to match his body movement's perfectly. She would briefly speed up in order to rely on Dance of the Adler so she could slip to the side of his downward swing while moving above him. She would vault over his body using his shoulder as leverage while bullets comprised of bone would shoot out of the finger's touching him, namely those from the Distal Phalax of her left and right hands, resulting in six bullets racing towards Gado at Bullet Release speeds at point blank range. "Neither will I hold back against a worthy opponent such as you." she said as the madness infecting her brain would allow her to shrug off the intense pain from that particular technique. This was she would be able to follow-up with shooting out bone spikes from her back courtesy of the Dance of Adler in order to try and test his defenses knowing that her particular bones were capable of packing quite the punch upon emerging from her body. She would land about ten feet away with her guard up in case she wasn't able to knock him off balance from her attack.

PostSubject: Re: The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision)   The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision) Icon_minitime24th June 2021, 2:27 am

So with the light touch of the finger bullets, Gado was a little bit unprepared when the bullets attempted to go through his layers of armor. It was the first time that an attack went through a single layer, which made ado a little cautious. However, it would only stop there, the holes were rather small and the integrity of the armor as a whole was still intact. In addition to that, as praise was flipping upwards to impale Gado with the finishing of the dance of the Adler, Gado was anticipating the brainwaves of praise.   In addition to that, Gado had S rank strength due to the gluttony aspect of the deviljo, so he wasn't knocked off balance.

With the factors in place of keeping his footing and the anticipation of praise's brain patterns, what met her bones with dance of the adler was some of Gado's own. He preemptively used dance of the Larch along with dance of the yarrow to send in 9 double-layered bone spikes to meet with three that praise had in mind.  Even if praise's bones were able to break through the defenses that Gado had prepared, he just had to double up to make sure that at least his attacks were unbreakable for the time being. This meant that the array of bones that Gado sent withstood the bone-piercing nature of the Adler spikes by avoiding destruction, protecting the exoskeleton from Praise puncturing any holes, and piercing her body as well. Each bone did about a C-rank amount of C-rank life release slashing damage, now testing Praises own defenses.

"How about this! Tug Of War!"

Gado would dash at Praise as he pulled out his spinal cord, still keeping his bone sword from before.  With the dance of the vine and his strength with yarrow, Gado would close up the distance and swing the spinal cord whip with his strength backing it once he was 5 feet away, moving at S rank speeds due to the strength this time to whip the heck out of her with it.   Upon contact, the vine would also tie itself around  Praise to attempt to keep her tied up.

PostSubject: Re: The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision)   The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision) Icon_minitime25th June 2021, 12:55 am

It was fortunate that she had Fantom heritage as when her opponent launched his bone spikes in order to counter hers she was able to simply extend her vault higher into the air as if she had used a lot more force to push herself higher. In actuality she was making use of the levitation capabilities of her Fantom Gene so that she was out of the range of his Dance of Larch. The bone spikes she released wouldn't even get to clash against some of his before they were discarded from her body due to this.  She would then land on the ground as she had planned previously, before suddenly vanishing from Gado's sight, having activated another aspect of her Fantom Heritage. He likewise would be unable to hear her reply to his declaration as while invisible she would levitate towards him before throwing out a low sweep in order to knock him off his feet. She'd easily lose herself to her Transformation due to her aggression now being unchecked by her Geist Mode's continued activation.

While she was unaware that he was capable of tracking her brainwaves she could see him draw out his spinal cord as such she would float completely parallel to the ground on her side, feet first, minimizing the area that he could hit in preparation for the leg sweep. All the while her sanity levels continued to dip to the point that she wasn't capable of making coherent plans other than smash him hard and fast. As such even if she was struck by the whip she fully intended to just brute force it, relying on her Dance of the Birch to give her the defensive capabilities to tank the blow while relying on her levitation in addition to her current strength to whether any knock-back that would come from getting impacted by the whip, should Gado still be able to hit her despite not being able to see or hear her. Regardless of the outcome, but especially if she wasn't hit by the whip, she would continue her Dance of Thistle following up with her leg sweep with a spin before attempting to elbow the side of Gado's head while releasing some of her explosive slime. If it connected not only would it disorientate him but it would likewise cover the temple and side of his head, opposite of the hand that was holding his Dance of the Clematis: Vine, in her explosive slime.

Hahaha I love the color of your blood!" Praise had said in reply to him though her Inaudibility would make her words have no sound. This was because when Gado utilized the Dance of the Larch and then the Dance of the Clematis: Vine he would find that the wounds inflicted on his body would actually bleed far more than usual. This was due to the fact that shaped within her hand bones was a particular juinjutsu script, which had been launched at him and made contact with his body when she used her hand to vault over his body.

PostSubject: Re: The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision)   The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision) Icon_minitime25th June 2021, 4:39 am

"Ok, hide and seek is. I didn't think your name meant actual ghost powers praise, I thought it was a metaphor!"

So far, the attempted trade wasn't something that that praise trying to go for. But instead of being completely seen, she decided to use her heritage to turn inaudible and in a way, invisible as well. Something like that proved to be very difficult for the average person. But Gado had his own heritage to rely upon as well as his own talents. Not only was Gado using Praise's mental brainwaves, but he was also adjusting his eyes in order to sense the opponent's chakra. So as long as praise was an abled body with a chakra flow, Gado would be able to see that outline in real-time if there was nothing praise could do to mask her chakra signature. That was in combination with the natural chakra sense that a soulless had, so it only doubled up the efforts.

"So that's how it works...."

Gado thought this to himself as he noticed Praise's ability to be able to levitate and not even touch the ground. At the very least, he would be able to still follow praise's taijutsu movements more carefully and not be taken off guard due to her invisibility and reacted accordingly.  He still went for it, pulling out his spinal cord and attempting to wrap it around praise who seemed determined to tank the hit. He could of put more power into it with his strength, but then the default damage was more than satisfactory due to the fact that  Gado's main goal was to entrap praise and make it a pain in the ass to break out of it from the technique combo from before.  With her flying parallel to the ground, it might have been a pain to make adjustments if he was sensing the brainwaves alone.

But since he was, Gado did the force curve movement in order to spin on his heel similar to a Kurogane dance while maintaining the strength of his swing to adjust his body and wrap the spinal cord around praise's body.  With the fact that it was 15 feet long and had 1 foot of thickness, praise was 5'4 (current height data, correct me if incorrect) and the length was more than enough to wrap around her whole body.  Even if praise's own dance of the birch shielded her from the slices that came from contact with the whip. PRaise was unable to utilize hand seals or movement-based techniques as she was telekinetically moved with S rank force backward to crash into the round  10 feet away repeated at S rank speeds in an up and down motion.

With how reinforced the vine bone was due to the dance of the yarrow, it would withstand the impacts to the ground as Praise would make contact with the sharp edges of the vine with each slam with S rank force, actually dealing s-rank mental damage each time instead of physical.

But if praise attempted to phase through it, Gado would only use his DUNKED in order to maintain control of the whip to wrap around praise to do the same above as he dashed back to about 10 feet away or within the reasonable limits of his technique and force curved to garner control of his strength. In case she couldn't keep phasing forever, manipulation of the whip in such a faction was an additional reflex with this fighting style.

"hold on now, it's time for a hero's comeback, praise san! No blood till the climax!"

PostSubject: Re: The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision)   The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision) Icon_minitime25th June 2021, 3:56 pm

Praise was deep in the haze of madness however as she was hit by the whip and wrapped up in it she would suddenly gain clarity as her body received a new surge of strength. While she couldn't make hand seals due to the wrapping she was able to move her hands upward in order protect her face and her upper chest, namely her vitals before she was completely bound. Her sanity would be restored as her body changed from her second transformation into the very transformation that was highly valued within her mother's clan, as such she was able to think and upon being encased she would use one of the element seals that were etched in her hands in order to seal away the Dance of the Clematis before it could do any more damage to her. This would have the effect of not only leaving her free to do what she wanted to do, but likewise deprive him of a means to deal with her.

As such, she would use her newly boosted speed and strength to deliver her leg sweep depositing some explosive slime, then spinning into an elbow and also depositing more explosive slime. If he didn't tense his body and thus being knocked back, she'd follow-up with her Organic Weapon while levitating away from him at A. She'd put in enough stamina so that the heated knock-back would be enough to not only detonate the explosive slime she had placed on him but cause said detonation to be larger than normal. This would not only scour away the top layer of Gado's bone armor but leave him open for her follow up Dance of Willow to pop out her bones and close in while the window of opportunity was available. She would spin once more waiting until she was close enough (moving at S- speed) before popping them out so that they could pierce through the hopefully weakened armor all the while using the Mystical Palm technique in order heal her self-inflicted injuries.

PostSubject: Re: The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision)   The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision) Icon_minitime27th June 2021, 3:26 am

"Wow... you are a genius Praise...that's what heir transformation looks like?"

After realizing that the bleeding that he was experiencing from his body wasn't stopping, Gado was sure that it wasn't from the wounds he created from using his Kaguya dances. It never happened before either perhaps it was when praise first attacked hum? either way, Gado went through a bit of blood loss before ultimately figuring out that it was a juinjutsu that was hindering his efforts of survival, using a c-rank amount of chakra from expelling it.  It looks like his armor can't stop juinjutsu from operating if it lacked the resistance for it. Even if it was painful, it was a good lesson and Gado was going to be more attentive and careful next time too. The current problem was the fact that praise managed to seal away the bones that she had wrapped around her, but Gado can immediately notice that something was gone after she had the bones confirmed to wrap around her and for them to disappear in "thin air" before he had DUNKED control.  But if there was one thing that Praise didn't know, it was that his telekinesis covered his psionic bone, including the one that he was wearing as armor right now.

With its psionic-based bones that were not only inside but outside of his body, the manipulation of such things with his S-rank control speed as a natural bodily movement that doubled as an air movement technique was easy for Gado to achieve. With praise not only being sensed but coming towards Gado, Gado's control speed was a lot faster than her newly transformed speed. But before that even got addressed as she tried to close in on Gado from the time she sealed away the clematis dance vine, 3 of the 9 bones that were made from failed larch counter suddenly detonated.

Since he didn't utilize the bones for what he wanted, he still kept them around for another purpose to either spin rapidly when praise got close, or turn his bones into surprise explosions.  It was a 40 feet explosion that happened at S-rank speed due to his mental control, and the damage itself was matching the mental control.  With three bones, that was three separate counts of S-rank mental damage that praise had to deal with.  There was also no real telling sign for praise to observe from his bones, so it was a difficult technique to evolve. As for Gado, he didn't need to do much since he was armored up and had the resistances of his mental defenses available.

But if that didn't stop her in her tracks, manipulating his body with his S-rank telekinesis had him play keep-away by just being a bit faster than praise during those moments, doing erratic movements with the control of his mind to avoid the leg sweep and detonating 3 more bones to do 3 more sets of S-rank mental damage. These movements were only be possible with telekinesis, and with his inner and outer bones as the conduit, it was easy for Gado to perform. it was Gado's moment to transform into his second transformation.

"It's not as fancy as you, but it gets the job done!"

If praise continued for the second part of the dance of the thistle technique that involved the secondary backhand after facing 6 counts in total of C-rank mental damage, Gado would meet her head-on with his attack by using his enraged arts combo by intercepting the attack of -S-Rank speed at S-rank speeds with retaliation rake and Rashaom. With the back fist attempt they had to at least be within five feet from each other and gado's movement was through his telekensis at that time. But with Retaliation rake being able to intercept praise's attack before she connected to deposit slime on Gado and using rashaom as well, it was a total of two counts of spiritual S-rank damage in her midsection, with the rake+palm strike combo with rashaom itself knocking praise back 90 feet due to the ragdoll effect.

PostSubject: Re: The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision)   The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision) Icon_minitime2nd July 2021, 12:00 pm

This was truly a masterstroke, she hadn't predicted he was capable of detonating his bone but then again how could she have foreseen such an outcome it was truly interesting and her respect for her opponent had gone up. But the match was still young and though it seemed like there wasn't much she could do there was always one fallback she could rely on. [color:89cf=ccff00]"Reject." Praise would mutter to herself as she visualized the events of what would happen a few moments ahead and would adjust herself accordingly. Now with this future knowledge she was sure of a couple of things, the first being that he was capable of detecting her even though she was invisible, while this was a slight deterrent it was something she could adjust too, the second was that fighting him in melee wasn't a feasible way of dealing with him if she wasn't ready to commit to opening the Gates.

It was frustrating to someone like Praise who preferred to get up in someone's face and slug away but she could be tactical when the time called for it. The first change she made was that when she turned invisible she would drop to the ground into a crouch. The ground would promptly rumble as she made use of Dance of the Seedling Fern to counteract Gado pulling out his spinal chord and trying to wrap her up in it, this was her technique would burst from the ground with one of the bone spikes directly under her allowing her to merge with it as it rose into the sky along with it's brethren. If Gado himself wasn't careful he could be skewered by one of them and even if she did dodge, it was far more likely that his Dance of the Clemantis: Vine would wrap around one of the bone pillars between him and her rather than the specific one that Praise had entered. Finally assuming he did still manage to wrap her specific bone upon making contact with it Praise would promptly seal the Dance of the Clematis: Vine away with her palm partially emerging from the bone to do just that.

Her senses were altered and upon her sanity reaching the threshold she would snap back to her complete faculties no longer running on her instincts plus the foreknowledge from Reject. Now she would be completely aware of him, as while she was connected to her bones her displacement sensory would occupy the entire bone forest allowing her to not only pinpoint his location but keep track of his movements even the subtle ones. That her taste had to be reduced to do so wasn't much of a drawback as far as she was concerned and her Heir Transformation was currently concealed due to her body being concealed. From there she would wait while using Mushin to optimize her Geist Mode and see, and if Gado expelled the chakra in order to remove the two bleed curses she placed on him his body would erupt in burns as the second juinjutsu she placed on him had it's conditions activated.

Not only would this deal a bunch of damage to Gado, but depending on how much chakra he put out it could be quite nasty, especially when he would begin to gradually feel more intimidated by Praise as this battle went on. This wasn't natural but he would have no reason to know that seeing as it was also one of the juinjutsu that had been placed on him, and like the Bleed Curses until he removed them this would keep happening. Of course he could also expel more chakra to completely remove himself from the juinjutsu she had placed on him, though if he didn't remove the right ones first then he would only end up sustaining even more damage allowing Praise to repeatedly hurt him without even having to lift a finger. [i]"I wonder what he'll do now. Surely this isn't enough to take him out, but regardless he'll find it a lot harder to keep up with me in melee now that's for sure."[i] Praise thought to herself as the combination of blood loss and damage would make his physical exertion even more tiring.

PostSubject: Re: The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision)   The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision) Icon_minitime5th July 2021, 1:07 pm

Knowledge of the future was a strange thing, the numerous amount of information piling through your brain to give you a premonition of things to come from following the same course. It must have come as a surprise to  Praise who experienced this "probability" in her current reality, but it came off as a massive amount of brain activity through Gado's brain wave sensory that he's never experienced ed before. He didn't know what that was, but from how it came from such an experienced fighter and never happened for it, it did make him rather worrisome. So things did flow through differently in regards to the fight. He was also feeling fear towards praise and didn't know why. But because of the inherent fear, he tried to kill his fear by not holding anything back.

For starters, Gado did not remove the juinjutsu just yet and he did not pull out his spinal cord. He actually transformed immediately into his second transformation while using his dunked telekinesis to manipulate his fingers in order to formulate handsigns at S-rank speeds, flooding the area with clones.   First one appeared, then four more appeared, totaling five clones on the field in total. These seemingly Kurogane bone clones would suddenly appear and begin to be the ones to start the assault instead of Gado doing the previous actions in the alternative future praise seen. Right off the bat, Praise was getting Gado's best technique. This was also in addition to Gado using the first stage of his dojutsu to give him an extra edge, things he did not use at the beginning of combat with praise.  However, he wanted to be sure and maintain accuracy.

"Hey, heads up. This is what I got, my very best...Praise san!!! "

So with that being said, when Praise turned invisible and dropped into a crouch, not only was her brain waves still able to be sensed, she lit up like a Christmas tree with Gado's dojutsu active.  He didn't know what she was planning, but the clones were on the move, and with enraged arts, the next attempts would have been quite devastating. He also had vibration sensory to sense the gaps in the area that were safe to stand and using strength  and force curve to move, so simply knowing something was coming from the ground and preparing to overpower it with overwhelming force was the first and only method of Gado's juggernaut-like fighting style. There were five clones and one of them was the real gado, but it would be hard to tell which one was the real one.

The gado's started moving at S-rank+ strength while glowing with  Violent red and black aura with lighting streaks. Surprisingly, all of them were. Two of them launched with a charge to run from one side and one from the other to tackle Paise with great force in a pincer-like fashion, being able to pick out her location to destroy the bones in their path and tackle praise at the same time to deal S+ Spiritual damage to her body and send her in a rag doll motion of 50 feet in the air and putting her in an S+ Ragdoll motion.  Two other Gado's were thrown at the Ragdoll like praise to toss clones to deal spinning heel drops, one after the other to deal S+ spiritual damage.  As she falls, the last two Gado's in proper position would start the pinball motion to put Praise in an endless loop to ping pong the ragdoll praise amongst each other with an S+ spiritual blow one after the other.

This really was Gado's strongest combo, would praise be able to handle it?

Praise was set into alarm when Gado's actions started changing from her Reject as she hadn't ever experienced that technique being countered by an opponent to such a degree still things were already set in motion and her instincts responded to the challenge by throwing brute force of her own out. "Kaimon!. She uttered dropping her invisibility as now wasn't the time for stealth especially since she had only realized that her opponent's sensory abilities far outstripped her own. Thus when his clones emerged she had made brief contact with one of her bones to merge, which allowed her senses to expand so that as she returned to her faculties she would have her sensory capabilities magnified to the degree that she could briefly keep track of the various clones as they moved. Part of the reason why she wanted to establish her Dance of the Seedling Fern in the first place was because of her ability to modify her bones to place seals within them which she would do in a triangle formation in the bones around the one which she was in contact with. She would likewise spend chakra to establish a sensory barrier as she knew Gado's best bet of winning this fight was to overwhelm her as quickly as possible.

"Tch, Kyumon!." Praise said unlocking her second gate while being forced to jump out of her bone pillar into the air, as the two clones attempted to pincer her between them destroying one of the many bones of her Dance of the Seedling Fern in her place. Fortunately her preparations were useful as otherwise it was quite likely that she would of been blindsided by the two clones. Thanks to her strength in addition to being able to flit from bone to bone the distance she covered with her jump was magnified due to Gado moving with strength rather than speed it meant that his clones would be unable to change direction once they launched themselves allowing her to leap into the air to avoid their crushing attack. Both of those clones would actually freeze in place courtesy of her Sealed Binding Triangle Release.

"Fuck, Seimon!" While in the air Praise would unlock another one of her Gates as she needed the additional speed as she knew that at the moment she couldn't compete in a head to head Clash against Gado. Unfortunately for her she wouldn't get any breathing room as the thrown clones were quickly able to cover the distance to get to her with her being able to dodge the first, using Dance of the Alder as she was thankfully faster than it. Sure the velocity he was moving was technically faster than her (S++ Strength) but unlike the clone she could actually fly and thus was agile enough to make the needed corrections in the air that the clone was unable to do due to it's actual speed being far slower than hers. This allowed her to vault over it long enough for her to open another one of her gates with a "Shomon!" and release a shockwave to stun in it place. This would leave it vulnerable for her to chuck it in the path of the second clone that had been thrown for a spinning heel drop with her newly boosted strength. Considering upon the two colliding, the blow was enough to even destroy the one she had thrown at the other it left her with one less opponent to fight, meaning four of the five he had summoned were taken out of play with three of them permanently dealt with. The last of the four would be falling to the ground without any means of slowing said fall, assuming Gado didn't do anything to save it.

"Alright then, if you are going all out then so will I. Tomon!" she shouted, as her eyes went white and she would blur downward at SS- speeds to touch one of the bones that hadn't been destroyed by Gado and his clone's movements. Once her sensory was established once more it left her with a bunch more options being able to easily pinpoint Gado and his last remaining clones locations. As such she would be able to rush towards the two Gado's on the ground who were attempting to pinball her in-between them while ejecting a bone from both of her palms. She would envelop both of her hands in medical chakra before thrusting them at the two Gado using a deadly combination of Chakra Scalpel, Dance of the Cypress, and Dance of the Camellia. With her new speed she would be able to sway in-between their attacks, avoiding them and replying with stabs of her own while the afterimages she left from her attack would serve to throw them off a little bit, though due to Gado's sensory he would easily be able to tell who the original was. "Tank this if you can Gado!" she thought to herself while she engaged him in close combat.

Still due to the Dance of the Camellia causing thrusts from weird angles, the speed at which she was able to attack would still throw him off a bit. As not only could she attack faster than him, but the fact that Dance of the Cypress allowed her to deliver multiple attacks at once would be quite daunting, especially since he was relying on strength to match her speed and it was very likely that he would stumble if he attempted to dodge her strikes. If he didn't dodge though he would find that Praise's strength was enough to almost pierce through his bone armor while her Crashing Blast was being used to extend and retract the bones so that they could likewise pierce the second layer. Not that she really needed to do so to hurt him thanks to her chakra scalpels bypassing his pesky exoskeleton, but if she was lucky enough to breach both layers of defense then she'd take it. She wouldn't aim for vulnerable spots as she wasn't trying to kill him as this was still just a spar but instead she would go for joints first his knees, then shoulders knowing that she could cripple the clone but if she lucked out an hit the original then due to her juin she had placed on him this fight would further tip in her favor.

The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision) Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision)   The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision) Icon_minitime20th July 2021, 3:09 am

It was easy to believe that those who were moving with strength would be unable to control their speed or shift distances. However, with such a thing as strength being Gado's highest commodity, he already had a way out of controlling his speed while using the nature of the kurogane dances that he had available to him. So with force curve, it was a  simple taijutsu technique that Gado and his clones were used in order to turn on their feet and control their movements. If praise was counting on Gado and his clones having movements that were not under his control, she was mistaken. At the same time, Praise didn't know who was a clone and who wasn't due to the technique.

When praise leaped into the air in order to try to avoid the iron mountain leaning, the two Gado(s) used force curve to adjust their movements to a controlled value as if they were using speed moving at S-rank speeds. With it, they went right into clone shuriken with one of the gado's throwing the other one with S+ strength. It was fair to say that the bones that Praise made were already up 40 feet. But since praise had to activate the seal of reconciliation to activate the freeze to keep the "Gado's" in place, with her speed at A++ and Gado(s) S+ throw at S+ speeds. The clone shuriken throw could have gone off before the seal of reconciliation, with one of the clones closing in after being thrown and reaching as far as 30 feet per P.t (31, + adds 1 foot) from ground level.  Since this was a humanoid being thrown with S+ strength, the distance the "gado" could reach was x4 before the peak, but this would come into play later. The throw itself also maintained the rage arts conversion by paying rage this round. Currently, only one of the "gado's" was stunned. "

During the ariel combat between praise and the Gado's that were thrown at her, she was in for a surprise. The first Gado that was thrown at her was the real Gado, so when she activated her third gate and stunned Gado in place, there was an "oh shit" moment in gado's mind when he was stunned. The thing with status effects was that if he didn't have the responding tiers, he would be unable to defend himself from the effects. This particular stun was based on defense tiers and the stun itself was a complete ease of physical motion of the body without stopping life functions. However, this did not mean that this negated the person's ability to manipulate their chakra through the use of their soul orb if the only requirement was their mind being intact.  So when praise attempted to  throw Gado at the other one while being in close range in the air, all you heard was an explosion of Gado paying 2 c ranks of psionic release chakra to detonate 6 of his 9 bones of his bones  from dance of the larch at S rank speed. The explosions were at S-rank speeds and each explosion dealt an S-rank of mental damage while covering 40 feet.

"I couldn't ask for a better outcome, I forced you to use your gates on me. Am I finally on your level now? But this is it, it's now or never!!!"

In response, that was 2 B-ranks of nature damage that Gado experienced internally, but it wasn't going to kill him. As a matter of fact, this would be worth the trade-off even if all gado could do was act like a suicide bomber by using the 6 spikes as bombs that were leftover from the dance of the larch. 1 A rank of nature damage to Praise's 6 counts of S-rank mental damage, at some point her mind would break due to being overwhelmed with so much mental damage. However,  if this wasn't enough to stop praise from throwing him, Gado would move with the power of his mind (which is a life function so remained active) by using dunked as an S-rank air movement technique at S-rank speeds to adjust his  movement so he was out of the way  and avoiding Paise's grasp when the gado clone did the leg drop on praise, dealing the spiritual S+ damage at S-rank + speeds.   As praise was knocked down, she would have been in the knockback motion as she few right into the clone that was thrown upwards and reaching 62 feet in the air, taking another count of S+ spiritual damage and being grabbed for rage art empowered Falcon to drop to finish the battle.

PRaise would still be in the knockback motion when the crash happened, due to the clone being able to use it's body as an attack while adding something else to the mix. With the falcon drop, it was basically a catch finisher that it was using to drop praise on her head.

"KU-RO-GA-NE!!! RAGE ARTS FALCON DROP!!!"

With praise being a tough opponent, Gado hoped this would be it as he watched from 62 feet above. The collateral damage from the fall was A-rank spiritual as well since it exceeded 40 feet. He took into account that praise might concede, so if she did, he would simply desummon the clones. Right now, the clone was at S+ strength and if she wanted to break free, she would need the strength that exceeds gado's or a grab escape technique that was higher than S+.  If praise was visibly unconscious to give up, and proctor shouted, he would still desummon the clone. The clone itself that was trying to piledrive their opponent into oblivion was also keeping an eye on praise and would make the same proper judgment.

PostSubject: Re: The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision)   The Hardest Shield Vs The Sharpest Spear (Kurogane Heir Decision) Icon_minitime20th July 2021, 12:15 pm

It was a good play, but unlike the first time Praise saw it with reject, she now knew that such a thing was a possibility after all she was a Kurogane and she knew exactly how superior bone clones were to shadow clones so if in her vision getting close to Gado would reveal he could detonate his bones to inflict severe damage upon her then she needed to figure out how to remove that from play. Thus if he had Dance of Kaguya active, she was ready for it just like if he used bone clones instead of any other type of clone in Praise's mind there was always the possibility that he could just blow up on her. It just so happened that she knew exactly what to do in that situation and would use her Life Element Seal while she was in contact with Gado during the Dance of the Alder the moment her displacement sensory picked up the tell tale pressure fluctuations of something about to detonate. He was stunned by her shockwave, and the whole process of Dance of the Alder involved her placing a hand on him to vault over him thus by being stunned it also meant he was currently in contact with her and a simple extension of a Dance of Cypress would split her palm open to reveal her already pre-etched trapezium.

As such she would be able to seal it away as it was in the process of blowing up, and even though psionic chakra was being used to detonate it, what it was detonating was Life Release which removed the threat, and also left Gado completely vulnerable to attacks since his potent defenses were now gone. Due to her new action she didn't want to risk throwing him and as such would instead spend some of her gluttony limit to send a wave of knock-back which would propel him into the clone delivering a heel drop.

"That was close... Tomon! But I think I've got the gist of fighting you now!" Praise shouted briefly opting to watch Gado plummet to the ground after the collision, as it was likely that he would end up getting stabbed by one of her many dance of the seedling fern bone pillars especially since now he no longer had his normal protection. Not to mention should he try to manifest them once more it would only end up triggering the Bleed Curses she had placed on him allowing her to win the fight without having to finish him directly. Then again that really wasn't her style, not for someone she had respect for as he gave as good as he got and consistently surprised her, so she would fly downward to touch one of her bones knowing that she was fast enough to merge with one of them at around the same time he would be close enough to either land on one of them if he was unlucky or merely pass by one of the many bone pillars. This would allow her to leap from the bone pillar she was in towards him as unless he diverted his remaining clones to finding and destroying the bone pillars which housed her bind formula then he would find himself immobilized. This would leave him open to her and hopefully cause him to be forced to use the two grounded clones to either protect himself or destroy the pillars.

This would give Praise a window of opportunity, she was faster than them, as such she would be able to get to Gado before them, not to mention they would have to scan the various bone pillars searching for the ones which had just a bit more chakra in them than the others, which would note whether or not she had placed a seal in it or not which meant it was also likely that she'd be able to get to the immobilized Gado before them as well. Which meant that his fate was sealed, as her Shadow of the Dancing Leaf allowed her to perfectly match his fall speed before kicking his sternum to launch him into the air in order to perform the Reverse Lotus. She wouldn't hit him with her full force knowing that it was enough to probably snap his ribcage but she was okay with fracturing some of his bones as she felt it was fair since if his bone detonation had hit her she would probably be in coma if she didn't get immediate medical treatment.

Still she didn't want to cripple him so she would deliver her punches and kicks at his limbs, more specifically; his forearms, biceps, thighs, shins with the last hit being aimed at his forehead while taking care to keep him within the boundaries of her barrier seal so he would be unable to move his body. The last hit would propel him to the ground which he would plummet with enough force to leave a small crater while Praise would hover in the air watching to see if he was able to get up. She didn't think he would be able to but she knew she didn't do enough damage to kill him, or even knock him out really but he would definitely not to in any shape to fight her anymore. She herself was exhausted as the reverse took a lot out of her and if not for the fact that she could levitate she probably would of fell to the ground as well. It didn't mean she still couldn't fight if she had to, but she definitely wouldn't be using that technique again. "This type of fight, I definitely couldn't of gotten from someone of the same rank within the Republic." she thought to herself realizing that those who were chosen to be Guardian shinobi clearly were a cut above the village shinobi. It made her glad she had chosen to become one as other than the M.I.A. Armenezra she hadn't run against any of her peers that could push her like this.

Woah, this was a mega fuckup for Gado, but he still had one last trick up his sleeve. He already lost too much blood so that he was forced to use a C-rank chakra to deactivate the blood technique. He wasn't thinking, that was the problem. However, there was one thing that he didn't do just yet that he would be able to catch praise off guard for the final time.

"Not...without....hitting you at least...once!!!"

Sure, praise sealed away the outer bone that Gado had in store and his insides were being destroyed by seals that praise put on him. He even lost a ton of blood. But even with the SS knockback heading toward the clone, one thing that she would notice is that instead of getting knocked into the clone, gado would have teleported at that exact time that praise tried to knockback him into oblivion in order to gamble everything on the clone hitting praise at S+ spiritual damage in order to knock praise down into the clone that was thrown up to hit praise with another S+ spiritual damage and pile drive her for a S+ and A rank amount of spiritual damage. It Gado took up her prefieral vision and he did not use his substitution jutsu variant yet. This was his final trick, whether she knew that or not. It was now a race of who would get knocked out first while gado was dealing with the seals dealing the most damage and feeling like he was locked out of doing any more bone techniques. Or better yet, he was afraid to do so.

As he controlled his fall with S- rank speed and fall damage since he was not under a powerful knockback, the last two clones would be breaking off the bone pillars with S-rank strength in chunks and using his dojutsu to pinpoint the seals that were giving off chakra and throw the bone chunks at S+ strength in order to break apart the tags that were holding the seal

She didn't see his get out of jail free card yet, and being in limbo meant that Gado was temporarily off the field. Hopefully, this was enough to catch her since she thought she won and had nothing else prepared.

Now that was unexpected, Praise managed to knock him back only for him to just vanish forcing her to have to deal with the incoming clone with Spinning Heel Drop, as such she would be forced to cross her arms to block while unlocking her Fourth Gate and getting knocked back while the chakra she kept in her bones muted the damage she would of taken from the hit. Fortunately she still possessed a maxed sense of touch and thus would be aware of Gado's position resulting in her opening her fifth gate and halting herself in the air before she could reach the clone that would assuredly try to piledrive her. This would allow her to drift out of the way of the incoming clone while using a chakra scalpel to pop it due to outspending it. Her arms would shake despite her not being damaged by the attack as she recognixed that it was quite a powerful hit, but she would be able to recover from it and move in to deliver her Reverse Lotus as planned.

"That...was a tough...fight. But I'm a Fantom not a Kurogane, just wanted.... to fight the person who would also be in-line... for clan heir. If the elders still see fit to make me... heir well, they can eat a dick... You're more than strong... enough to be it in my place..." she panted while hovering in the air after landing the final hit to his forehead. She could still fight but right now she knew the only thing keeping her alert was the chakra surging in her body due to her Eight Gates. She had to figure out a way to fight without relying on them so much, maybe she needed to do more physical conditioning or something.

"That's impossible!!! She withstood that?!!!!!!!!!!"

Gado couldn't believe it, but he might as well play it up like some sort of cliched anime villain if he was going to go down. So when the lotus connected with Gado, it wasn't even if he had to fake it when it came to the pain and the damage he experienced. It was all out of tools and all out of things to soak the damage.

"PRAISE FANTOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

*BOOM!!!!!*

Gado has never been hit that hard in his entire life. He thought he knew what true pain and suffering were from almost drowning to death thanks to his old team member. However, nothing could have prepared him for something like this.  The clones dismissed themselves and after assessing the damage done to him, Gado knew that he accumulated too much damage to fight anymore.

"You win.....ahh.. its a bit hard to.... summoning Jutsu.... tiger..."

With a bit of mental stress, a tiger would be summoned to the field in order to help Gado stand up. It was a small tiger, but it was still boasting C-rank strength.

"Jesus, you look like hell. Why didn't you ask us for help again?"

"Kufufufufu..listen... when a man has to do things...  it has to be within their own power. I had something to prove against the very bes-argggughh.."

Half choking on the spit of the tiger spitting in his mouth, the tiger already started the healing process for some of his wounds in order to keep Gado alive.

"Sorry, this contract is still incomplete. I'm not looking down on you by not using it. "

Standing up and grabbing praise's arm in some kind of comradery handshake, he would smile and raise it up.

"Either way, we showed them what we got and you blew them out of the water with your skills. It was amazing. I'm not too sure what the elders will do, but either of us would be a fantastic pick to represent the clan. Besides, even if you are considered a fantom, the nose doesn't like, you're kin to me. Plus, after beating the heck out of each other, we're friends now.  Could make for a good Doki Doki one shot when I get time to draw. My hope was to invite Diana so she could come to celebrate with you in case I did lose,  I don't see her though. Sorry about that. As for me, I guess I'm a bachelor? hahaha....."

Even though Gado lost, he did his best. He had no regrets, so he also had no tears to shed in regards to it.
