| Analysis was Akira's speciality, and his commanders were aware of this. He was precise, and liked the detail. But not like this! It had been 2 hours, and already Akira was... bored. He was going over so many logs, coming and going prisoners, transfers both between wings, and between villages. Who was in the prison at the time of the attack, who was in transit, where they were in transit, where they were going, etcetera etcetera. It was boring. But it was at least a job he was good at.
There was a lot of missing. That much alone was a fact. There was so many bodies still washing up among debris, but there was also a lot of escaped convicts. And keeping a list of this, to make additions to the bingo books if necessary. He sighed going over the record of recent transfers from Dipugakure and Kohaigakure, and back. There was a prison trade between gang members. Neither group were accounted for. Which... left several possibilities. They either were on the road when the attack happened, they were ambushed by other missing nin that weren't yet caught, or.... honestly a lot. But as he scribbled the last name down he sat back, rubbing the bridge of his nose and taking the glasses from his face. Just another day of work after a village wide shake up.

| Roark, or rather Banjo with Roark strapped to his back, stepped through what was left of the entrance to Dipugakure's prison. He followed some other workers, an assorted bunch from the various villages of the Republic. The mood was somber, not just here, but everywhere throughout the allied villages. Even those that weren't hit as hard like Kohai and Mazou were still stressed with lack of supplies and even hands as the more damaged villages demanded a labor force they simply...didn't have anymore. Roark had found it odd that his own village had been calling for volunteers to transfer to Dipugakure for a short time, simply long enough to aid in reconstruction. After all, the Sanbi had done a number on Nazogakure. Truth be told though, he was willing to do anything just to get out and away from the destruction. At least here he didn't recognize street corners he played on as a child, or mom and pop shops being torn down after they were deemed structurally unsound. It hit different when you had memories.
As Banjo neared the front of the line, a stuffy type with glasses and a clipboard was ticking off names and giving assignments to the workers. When it was Banjo's turn, the Blango stepped forward, his left pinky rooting around in his oversized nostril and regarded Mr. Clipboard with a bored glance. To Clipboard's credit, he simply cocked an eyebrow in question before returning to his trademark tool. Ah yes, the...pair from Nazogakure, how nice to have you. They need help in Logistics and Accounting. Clipboard seemed as surprised as Roark upon reading their placement. Logistics and Accounting, what in the sam hell are we s'posed to do there? Roark thought through his mental link with Banjo. The Blango simply shrugged though, meandering off in the direction that Clipboard indicated.
Stepping through the double doors, Banjo looked around at several people hunched over sheets and data. Try the one dead ahead, the frazzled looking guy. Banjo huffed and lumbered over on all fours before standing on his hind feet and putting his arms up across the desk in front of Akira. He stared at the younger shinobi, somehow unnerving...but maybe a little cute? Probably not though.

| Akira looked up from his work, over the upper rim of his thin framed glasses. And... what the hell was he seeing?! He leaned forwards at the desk, hands clasped in front of him, and observing everything. Albeit he was sure it would be an awkward moment of silence. He didn't need to know much, just what the hell was going on. After said moment, he gave a low hum and shrugged, clearly rather interested in what he was seeing. "Interesting duo." He said and stood up, reaching a hand out though pausing part way as he wasn't completely sure who he was working with. "... My name is Akira. I'm a native of this village and I guess I shall be working with you both today." There was a slight grin to his feminine features as he said that. "Now, I don't know your specialities, but perhaps this forwards fronting friend can help." He picked up a sheet from the desk and held it out. "I've completed much of the cataloguing, but there is a few tasks we shall be undertaking at the local holding cells." He took a slow pace to begin with as he headed out and towards the prison blocks. "I also don't like to keep people waiting, I'm the type to want to keep active at all times. Physically or mentally, I'm running a marathon. It's been my job in my old genin cell to run analysis, it's become a speciality. I can pick out small details. It's how I could recognise that I am speaking both to a Hokkai beast, it's the intelligence behind the eyes and the protectiveness of the sling that gives it away. Speaking of, a weaponkin, no? I fought against one in the exams a few months back, so whilst my exposure is less, I can still recognise." He uttered a little giggle. Showing off for the first time since the attack, it was a delightful manner of unwinding. At the prison Akira waved his Logistics ID and the Chuunin out front allowed them both through. The entire place was abandoned at this point, walls having been torn down during the attack. Though from outside or inside, that was Akira's task for the day. "Now, I believe Hokkai Fauna have accute senses? Perhaps more than myself that would be." He pointed with a pen towards an open cell door three rooms down. "If you could be so kind, there is a disguised hole in that cell that we haven't found the exit for, if there is one. Could I ask if you might see if the hole does lead to the outdoors? The occupant is unaccounted for, we need to know if he's hiding in the hole, escaped in the chaos through the door, or if he was in the hole during the fighting. I will be with you shortly while I get my bearings." (OK, I've not given myself another task here so then we can both be on 1 completion. Do with the end result what you want / lead it in to a second task for us ) - Relevant:
I sped up the usage of it because it's CD use only and it makes sense that he would pick up things over the time meeting and moving across streets. It won't go any further than this CD part.

| This will work better if I do the talking. Roark said through their mental connection. Banjo grunted and drew Roark in his shotgun form. He grabbed the Weaponkin by the barrel, pointed away from Akira, and placed Roark on the desk top. No not on the- Roark started, but sighed. Well, wasn't much he could do about it now. He transformed there on the desk, reverting to his more human-like appearance. Which meant that what had once been a shotgun on the desk, suddenly became a grown man sitting with his back to Akira, duster flaps pooling around him and draping over the sides of the workspace. He hopped down, straightening his jacket and mumbling a few curses towards his larger partner. Then, Roark turned to Akira, Right then, good guess. I'm Roark, this is Banjo, you can ignore him mostly. We're of the same type, workers not talkers. Specially this one. Roark said, hooking his thumb towards Banjo. Roark followed Akira through the doorway leading deeper into the complex. He took in the destruction of the prison and frowned. It seems people are always worryin about things like homes and hospitals during these natural disasters...if you can even call what happened that. No one ever seems to be thinkin bout the prisons though. He shook his head and spit, Just problems on problems. When they arrived to the cell Akira had indicated, Roark stepped inside and Banjo followed behind. It was a tight cell and the Medium(S) monkey combined with the rather tall humanoid made for a very cozy fit. Roark nodded towards the bunk, so Banjo began sniffing the bed, trying to get a scent for the inmate that had been here. As for the hole, the torn corners of a poster framed it rather pleasantly and Roark had to wonder how on earth this had been kept hidden for so long...by a poster, but he wasn't going to judge. The shinobi looked into the hole, doing a quick mental measurement of the hole, himself, and then looking back at Banjo. So, bad news, he called to Akira, neither of us is gonna fit down this thing. Good news is though, He started, waving Banjo over who proceeded to sniff the hole entrance. His large, monkey head could fit through and he crammed it in, trying to locate the scent. The blango pulled out and nodded, indicating that the escaped convict had used this tunnel. Roark nodded and placed his arm down the hole, transforming it into the barrel of a shotgun, I think he's still in the prison. Roark fired a spray of pellets, they wouldn't kill or even maim, but they'd certainly hurt. Then, as if on cue, a yelp and string of curses came back from deeper down the hole. Yep, he's still in there. Probably haven't found the exit to this hole because it got caved in by the attack and now the damn fool is stuck. You damn bastards, shooting fish in a barrel! Get me outta here, I'm stuck. A voice called back to them. Roark smiled and raised an eyebrow towards Akira, How ya wanna play this? Banj and I can get him out, but it'll probably do more damage to the wall.- Spoiler:
Name: Spectrum Hojutsu: Birdshot Classification: Hojutsu Rank: C Class: Offensive Range: Short
Description: The Birdshot line of Spectrum Hojutsu techniques is sometimes referred to as the Buckshot's little brother. While it covers a smaller range with smaller pellets, Birdshot is excellent at dealing massive damage to single, smaller targets. With this type of technique, the user fires a large number of small shots made of a condensed element. The number of shots fired depends on the user's rank, with each shot dealing a D-rank amount of damage and moving at B-rank speeds (due to their smaller size) up to 10 feet, with the spread being as wide as 2 feet. The trick to this technique, is that the closer the target, the more birdshot pellets are likely to strike it, resulting in more damage to the target. User's Rank - Number of Pellets Fired in Each Shot - Target Size D - 2 - Tiny C - 4 - Small B - 6 - Humanoid A - 8 - Medium (S) S - 10 - Medium (M)
Name: Beast Brain Classification: Taijutsu Rank: D Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: This is a Hokkai Technique that can be learned by both a Hokkai Shinobi and a Hokkai Pet. After decades of training closely with pets, the Hokkai have developed a way to naturally enhance their senses for short periods of time. This has made the Hokkai fantastic trackers and sensory shinobi, as few enemies are able to hide from a properly trained Hokkai. For a target to successfully hide from a Hokkai, they need to use a hiding technique that hides their scent/sound/appearance/etc. at least two ranks lower than the sense level of the Hokkai. However, targets who have been marked by Dynamic Marking are easier to track and find, meaning the target needs a hiding technique at least one rank lower than the sense level of the Hokkai. | Akira looked over as he was called, tossing the clip board aside, because honestly who cared in this place, and made his way over. Without saying a word he waved his hand and the general workers nearby cleared away from the cell. "So... he's stuck in there huh?" He directed at thin air seemingly rather than Roark or Banjo, "Kame-e, you wanna... yes I'm asking if you'll... Ok don't look at me like that Mx!" Whoever he was talking to, only the Ibwa would see, as one of his spirits was being fighty against his asks. "Geez, fine fine," He sighed and stood up straight, flicking his hand across his face in an odd flourish, before holding his hand out flat. For a split second an orb shimmered in the base of his hand, before Akira flicked his wrist and it was gone. "How about you Kaen?" Once again there was nothing seemingly there, but the smile Akira formed showed that he seemed to have heard something right. "Alright, he's about half way in, thankfully the walls haven't collapsed." He put his hand to his chin and thought it out. "Hang on a second. Kaen?" Once more his hand flourished out, only this time the shimmering orb seemed to remain in his palm, until he pressed his hand to his chest. A close observer would see his eyes taking on a more fox-like look, as did his shadow suddenly sprout several tails that waved behind him. Even as he spoke, there was a feminine undertone that clearly wasn't his natural voice. "If you have the power to get through the wall, this is only a civilian cell so I'm sure that should be no problem for you. Structural damage is negligent to increase. He might get a little more dusty, but there should be no danger to his life." As he stepped back there was a whole different way to how he stood and walked. "I'll leave the power to you. But we need him out."

| Banjo sniffed the air, clearly perturbed by something as Akira began talking to himself. He looked about the cell, unable to even understand himself what was bothering him before turning to Roark who simply watched Akira prattle on. Roark shrugged towards Banjo in a, "Don't ask, don't wanna know" sort of way. After all, he was a sentient shotgun who was frequently wielded by a tamed...mostly tamed...blango. He who lives in a glass should not throw stones and all that. If this Akira person wanted to talk to himself, Roark wasn't going to judge. Once Akira was done, satisfied and had given Roark permission to break some more of the wall, the man grinned, his yellow teeth shining like gold beneath his mustache. As long as you say I'm good to break stuff, don't need to tell me twice. Might wanna stand back here now though. He'd begin rolling up his sleeves while Banjo grunted and left the cell, hopefully trailing Akira. Focusing, Roark would unlock the first two gates, his speed and strength spiking to levels that would have no problem breaking through that wall. With his physical powers heightened, the man stepped up to the wall and began knocking on it, listening for not only a weaker point in the wall, but also for any clear structural support. He trusted Akira's analysis, but it never hurt to feel it out for yourself. One deep breath in and the man's fist suddenly cratered the wall, causing it to explode in a webbing of stone. Two more punches and the cell filled with dust and debris. There were sounds of a struggle, shouting, fits of coughing, and then Roark stepped out of the cell covered in a fine layer of dust. He dropped the prisoner to the ground, deactivating the gates. Lookie what I found and while I was in there finding him, I also stumbled across this here little treasure. Roark said, holding up a slip of paper, Looks like our fella here was part of a bigger plan. Might be some more of them hiding in the prison, though hopefully they weren't dumb enough to actually get stuck like him.Go to hell you son of a- The man spat but a swift kick to the temple from Roark knocked him out cold. Aw, poor guy tuckered himself out. - Jutsu:

| Mission 2: Get convict out - Complete Mission 3: Uncover escape plot - In progress / Complete within next round Mission 4: 'Escort' convicts out - Also in progress (we can just have this auto complete after last mission as I'll finish it off if you don't post something that does)
Akira was certainly curious about this sheet of paper, "Interesting," He muttered and snatched the paper right from Roark to look at. "Oh... right, sorry. Should've asked first," Even if he apologised he didn't actually look up, too busy just reading what it said. He must have read it over at least five times, ensuring he got all the detail from the writing he could. "Looks like someone higher up fucked up." He grumbled, clearly something pissed him off. With a deep breath he closed his eyes and reached his hands out, and in doing so created those whispy shimmers of light again. "Kaen, Annie, Kame-E, it's time to hunt," He grew an almost sadistic grin, waving his hand swiftly across as each began to more physically form. Going from right to left, the balls of air changed. The first turned purple, as flicks similar to fire formed behind it that swayed in unison with 6 other flicks, along with the same fox-like eyes Akira briefly sported on the front. The next turned more sharper in shape, turning green, forming a calf like skull formation, along with white specks of eyes and the shape of horns. And finally, the latter resembled almost a cat's head, with squinted eyes, in a dusty brown. And then with another flick going in reverse, their shapes changed again. The left most turned from brown orb, to a fully formed Kamaitachi, that wound it's way around Akira's shoulders like a scalf. The next turn in to a thick oxen creature, the size of a calf yet looking to have adult proportions, that stood studily in front of Akira. And finally, the purple orb became an elegant looking woman, sporting a multitude of tails that matched her deep purple hair. But most noticably, each one of them was slightly transparent. "Thank you my friends, there should be tunnels just like this in similar places. If you would be so kind," Each gave a nod, and floated away from the current cell directly through the walls. "Now, whilst they search for me, I think we could use that strength of yours. Would you mind hauling him out to the shinobi out front? I need to stay close enough for my spirit friends to communicate. It's rather good I had you here, or I might've missed the escape plot. That, and the fact an earth release user got locked up with non-chakra users in a prison they could break out of with some work."

| Roark simply watched without comment as shimmers of light danced in front of Akira. The guy looked pretty busy with his work, odd one that, but got things done as far as Roark could tell and he respected that. As the strange lights, though Roark now wondered if they were some sort of creatures, streaked off to do their master's bidding, Roark chuckled, Fancy trick that. Long as your friends there can find the rest, I can grab 'em. When Akira mentioned taking the one they had found to the guard Shinobi towards the front of the building, Roark turned to Banjo, You heard 'im, make yourself useful fuzz face. Drop our snoozin friend here off with his keepers and come on back for some more.
Banjo huffed but said nothing more, instead seizing the unconscious prisoner by the back of his jumpsuit and dragging him towards the area Akira had indicated. Oi, don't damage the goods. Roark called after, to which Banjo threw his hands up in annoyance, but picked the man up and tossed him over his furry shoulder. Right then, point me where you need me and I'll take care of the rest. The older genin said, rubbing his hands together in borderline gleeful anticipation. The trio would work the rest of the morning through a combination of searching, grabbing and hauling the prisoners from their hiding spots and back to the guards.

| All complete as of this: Mission 5: Find the ring leader
One by one they hunted each remaining member, albeit sadly finding the final one that was borderline gone. That one just took a little longer as he was still a criminal, but despite being of a clan about death, he wasn't one to needlessly cause fatal harm. Still, the man was escorted out with a little more care by medical staff. "My spirits are handy huh? Perfect scouts in mazes like this." As if on queue, it was the Kamaitachi that popped it's head from the ground. "How's the search Kame-e? ... Oh..." His mood quickly dropped and he sighed. "Well... the ring leader got in to a long series of tunnels. Tunnels that got flooded." He didn't think he needed to say anything more after that. "And that's not work for us honestly. I'm not fond of getting myself wet in filthy water." He waved off the prospect in his mind. Whether he was down there a couple more hours didn't matter much when he was already passed. There was however a brief glance to a nearby corner, and a grin. It was clear something was there that was unseen again. "Thank you both, Roark and Banjo. We uncovered an escape attempt that otherwise would have had these men marked as MIA."

| With a strange look of frustration on their face, a Chunin Instructor jogged into the room with Roark and Akira, giving them both a look and nodding. "Hey you two, we need you in the prison, keep it on the down low for now but there's some... Weird stuff going on. Should be nothing but just in case it turns out to be something bigger, we need all hands on deck." He paused at that and frowned. "I'm not one of those feckin' pirates that have been showing up here, it's just a saying!" He seemed almost more to himself to them, shaking his fist before he turned and jogged off, there were others to bother about this after all. - Akira and Roark:
