New World: Sweet Prince(pt.1)[Diana Only]

Magic, the foundation in which this village was built upon. When one thinks of magic, their mind might conjure up ideas of signs and wonders beyond explanation. Happenings that transcends how we understand the world. These same wonders have been said to bring joy to the hearts of youngsters and adults alike. The existence of magic has done miracles for this very society. Yet, in a village immersed in wonders; comfort and joy are scarce. Even with the help of magic the villagers work tirelessly to make ends meet. Shinobi are raised from their youth to be government pawns. A governmental structure that is long out dated. Much like Magic, we can see it but are left with many questions. Leading us more into dark than we can possibly comprehend. A reality which can best describe the life of young Diana Erlang. A young twelve year old shinobi from the village hidden with magic. As her name implies she's been gifted with amazing visual prowess, yet could not see how a village can make her entire heritage, "disappear". Strategically placing her among-st the many oblivious soldiers on the hamster wheel this faction creates.

Unknowingly, her guardian Zhao trains her, shelters her, and primes her into the perfect Erlang. All the while, she gets placed in squads and runs missions fulfilling the ASN's grand design. A design that plagues far beyond Mahougakure's reach. A structure that keeps everyone safe. A system that keeps us all enslaved. We may never break these chains, but every now and then, life hands us an olive branch. It may not be a key, it may not be a way out, but what it is; it's something different. For Diana Xanthia Erlang, today can quite possibly be the start of that "something different". But alas her fate and the course of her life is entirely up to her. But if she is daring then maybe and just maybe, a new world awaits.

A New World:

It must've been around 10am in the morning. Most breakfast shops have been open for about two hours now and the day is running like usual. But somewhere off in a corner an elderly woman is seen bent over on her rocking chair. She mutters the saddest words to herself as she appears to be completely distraught. Who knew where Diana was during this time, but it didnt take too long for the people nearby to get tired of her. Whatever she was going through, she'd be met with a pot full of freezing water being poured over her head. "Leave your driving away customers" is all that can be heard in the onslaught of aggressive speech that the store owner directed towards her. After all, a man had to make ends meet. She's stumble away shivering.

Objective:

“Now that isn’t very nice now is it?” A soft voice called out from behind. Today had been day two of her extensive training course with her guardian and it just so happened that she had decided to happen upon the incident that was currently taking place after making her way home. Coincidence? Probably. It was disappointing that she didn’t get there in time to stop the man from pouring the obviously freezing water on the poor old woman. Being the type of person she was, she couldn’t let such douchebaggery go after all the woman was defenseless and alone. Her initial reaction was to grip the hilt of her katana but quickly decided against drawing her weapon as she would’ve been in serious trouble if she had cut him down where he stood. Instead, she would move forward at bullet release speeds towards the man before slamming her fist into his face.

If he decided to do the smart thing and stay down, she would make her way over to the old woman. “Don’t worry ma’am it’ll be okay.” She said with a smile while covering her with the cloak she wore. It was a bit tattered due to a few close calls with Zhao’s sword but it should keep her warm.

She was moving steadily forward when Diana caught up to her. She was startled when Diana placed the cloak on her. The expressions on her face was a dead give away that she had expected to be attacked just then. Instead she received Diana's kindness which only allowed for tears to form down her eyes. For many reasons she was embarrassed. The mistreatment was shocking and her need for help might not be perceived as urgent to anyone else. So she kept a firm hold on Diana's cloak and walked herself to a nearby bench to rest her now aching back. She remained silent for a while until the sobbing stopped and she could compose herself enough to thank Diana by grabbing her hand and shaking it with both of hers. "Thank you darling. I'm s. sorry" She'd then reach into her pocket and humbly offered Diana a piece of candy. She looked worried that Diana would reject her offer and make her feel rejected. So she'd take back one of the candies and eat it herself. If she accepted the candy, she'd relax a bit and attempt talking to Diana.

" This is embarrassing, but i lost my best friend today and its hard. My sweet prince is missing and I just can't find him and no one will help."

Diana couldn’t help but feel terrible as she watched the old woman sob uncontrollably. How could someone treat an elderly person so terribly she could never understand and this just made her want to go over there and impale him on her sword but again that would get her into trouble so she opted not to. She silently sat there and waited until the old woman was do sobbing as she honestly didn’t know what to do or say to make her feel better but she stuck around nonetheless as she knew her presence might be of some help. When she had offered her candy she would gratefully accept it before popping it into her mouth.

“You lost your best friend? Maybe I can help you look for him. Any last whereabouts? Or how he looks?” She said hoping she could make this woman’s day by finding her friend although she was really exhausted after being up early this morning to train.

Her eyes would grow wide when Diana volunteered to go look for her kitten. It was as if divine intervention had brought the two together. She'd wipe her eyes and respond excitingly, "Really? You'd do that for little old me? Thank you darling!" She'd reach into her purse and hand Diana a photo of her kitten. " I haven't the slightest clue other than the great tree in the center of the nearby park. Seymore loved that tree, but i checked yesterday and no sign of em. Can you give it one last look around for me. I'd go with you but my body wont keep up."

Objective Update: Find Seymore in 4 rounds or failure.

Diana would smile seeing the old woman in high spirits. Now all that was left was for her to actually find this cat, hopefully, it would be easy enough. Taking the picture she would head to the place where the cat was last seen before taking a quick look around the area. First, she would use her normal vision and search every nook and cranny of the area and if that had failed her she would activate her dojutsu and attempt to find her using electrolocation. She was a cat after all and would stick out like a sore thumb under her gaze.

Poor Diana she must've been searching for hours for this kitten or maybe not. Due to her electromagnetic vision she was able to locate seymore by just entering the park in which he was last found. But in a strange coincidence it was as if the little cat had been waiting for dis a all along. As if it knew that Diana was there to take it home and so it began to run off. Darting away at C-ranks speeds it cleared a lot of ground. Suddenly it would climb a very high tree out of Diana's reach. To retrieve seymore she'd have to be careful. Because of seymore cat like speed Diana would have to compete with its C-rank speed and reflexes. Now that she was able to locate seymore who is now in the high tree what will she do?

During this Praise had been ~~stal~~watching Diana and her escapades trying to find whatever it was that she was looking for. Initially she wanted to try and ask if she wanted to hang out but she saw her working and thought it would be nice to see her friend on a mission. Hence why she had spent the past half an hour tailing her around. Still when the cat climbed up the tree she decided it might be best to make this a two person mission and would reveal herself by walking to the tree and proceeding to start and climb it.

Oh? Looking to get away, are we? Not on my watch. She thought to herself as she watched the cat make a run from. Why was it running away? Who knew? But she was going to honor the old woman’s request whether the cat liked it or not. With that said, Diana would look to cut off the cat and stop it from even climbing that tree by moving at crashing ground speeds. Once she was able to get in front of the cat she would look to grab it, hoping it wouldn’t scratch her because scratches were the last thing she needed on her skin. Then again it would fit in with the slashes she had from her sword training.

The cat nearly made it to the top of the tree when it'd notice someone else climbing. It seems that there were more shinobi after this cat then expected. Who knew there would be this many people out to do charity. The cat would try to dart a little bit faster ahead when, Diana would body flicker in front of him. The sudden speed and appearance startled Seymore causing him to jump and lose his grip. Like mufasa from the lion king he'd flail his arms as he starts to free fall to the bottom. Somebody save the poor kitty.

She had no intention of startling the cat but then again having something suddenly pop up before you looking to scoop you up would be a bit terrifying so she understood. Regardless, before it hit ground she would Diana, would quickly move to grab the cat in the mid-air before landing softly on the ground below. “Now that we’ve gotten you back Seymore it’s time to return you to your owner. She’s been lonely without you.” She said with a smile before petting the cat. Hopefully, the cat would accept the fact that it was captured and come along peacefully and quietly.

Praise would hop down and throw up a hand to say hi to Diana though when she talked to the cat she would snicker. "Yo. I figured you didn't need any help?" she said as initially she wanted to try to move tp catch the cat but Doana was faster as usual sp it wasntnexactly necessary. Still she didn't exactly know where they were going to head after that so she figured she would just end up following her more.

After caught by Diana the cat just laid there sprawled out and non responsive. The cat was probably still in shock from the near fatal fall. Diana would speak to the cat as it shivered in her arms. After a few seconds of petting the cat would calm down and accept capture. Not a moment after Diana's Sta--friend would come forth not really explaining to anyone at how she ended up in this mix at all. The cat simply assumed that this was the plan all along. There was nothing really left to do but to hand the cat over to the lady who for some reason is now only a few feet away. Wait a minute, what's happening? The cat would jump out of Diana's hand because right about now she'd realize that she isn't feeling well at all. As a matter of fact, she is probably feeling very dizzy and about to pass out. Seymore would look on waiting for Diana to hit the ground before saying, " Ah yes, that took a long while to happen now didn't it?. The cat would then look towards Praise as if she was in on it as well. " No worries though, she wont die yet. But we have to bring her back soon." Seymore would then start to meow a bit and lick his paw as the old woman looked on at the two , " Seymore, I dont think she's in on it.""HAHA, WHAT? course she is...yea?"

Item Used:

Diana’s brow would furrow the moment she noticed that the cat went limp. She was certain she didn’t do anything to harm the cat so why was it unresponsive? While she was busy trying to figure out what was up with this cat, a familiar voice called out to her from behind. “Praise-chan? What are you doing here?” She asked a bit confused that her friend seemed to have known her whereabouts and what she was set out to do. Truthfully it didn’t matter as she was happy to see her friend again.

Once Diana was brought her up to speed on what had happened, she would make her way to the old lady, who was oddly a few feet away from her and the moment she was going to explain that her cat was a bit on the lifeless side, the cat suddenly sprung up and made its way to its owner. “W-What?” Diana muttered to herself as suddenly started feeling lightheaded. She tried to make her way to Praise hoping she would be able to explain what was happening but before she could she fell to the floor unconscious.

Praise would follow as she was actually pretty interested in whatever this mission was about. However when she noticed that Diana was becoming dizzy after the cat met up with its owner her mood would change and she would glare at the two of them. "I don't know what's going on but you better quit whatever you are doing to her right now. she said crossing her arms and prepping her bones to be manipulated just in case they refused.

Seymore held his gaze at Praise realizing that their mission had been compromised and now the two of them might be forced to dispose of this extra person. It is imperative that what they’re doing remains covert, but how did they miss her? This operation has been planned for days yet on the day of the execution here they have an unknown variable. The cat like grin on Seymore’s face began to fade as he slowly began to reach for his sword. It was then that the old lady would come between the two and hold her arms out. ”That’s enough, you two. Praise was what Diana called you, yes? Well it is obvious that your friend here has been tricked and is in the process of been taken away. I’m telling you this outright so that you can see that the trucks are over and done with. So you must believe us when we say your friend must come with us or she is at risk of dying.The old lady spoke with conviction but Seymore would only rebuttal with sass in his voice , ”She’ll be ok. We can fight right now hunty, I’ll snatch you bald!” ”Seymore! the old woman snapped at him and then reaches for her spray. She’d give him a hard look but when he decided to ignore her gaze she’d spray him twice causing Seymore to scream in agony as the misty waters touch his hairy skin. Seymore would then grab Diana then flew. The old lady would sigh and gesture for Diana to come with knowing full well that they’d be hell to pay for bringing in a fully conscious outsider.
