Xan would read up on the target and would smile faintly, a blade user like himself, perfect a true test of his skills this mission would most likely be, he would nod a quick thank you to the Receptionist before he made his way out of the office. He would climb down the steps before stepping out into the cold frigid air and would head home first to gather all of his tools and after a couple of minutes would head out dressed in his white T. Jonin Flak Jacket armed to the teeth in supplies. He could of been more prepared but in all honest he relied more so on certain weaponry so what honestly was the point. He would walk to the gates giving the Chunin who was guarding it a wave, before stepping out into the white snow and taking in the area. The mountains which surrounded his village was in view, which wasn't that much of a background but it was a hidden village after all, couldn't exactly be in the open.
He would move at a steady pace not caring for the cold seeing as it didn't affect him all that much thanks to his heritage and he would gradually make his way up the mountain taking care to go at an even pace so he wasn't tired. There was no point in rushing anyways, the mission had said his target was in the Land of Glaciers which was a big area of course but if they had been spotted in a specific part of the land then it would of stated it. That being said it was best to thread carefully in care his target popped up that way he was prepared for combat. Seeing as he was unable to channel chakra, it honestly sucked climbing anyways, perhaps that was one of the only drawbacks not being able to "cheat" by using chakra to stick to surfaces but he was over that already. Besides mountain climbing helped with his training and doing this was easier than it seemed, well at least going up was, descent was always dangerous it had to be...after all life wasn't exactly fair.
Sure enough he would make his way down the mountain side without any problems, and he would walk down heading north seeing as that was where the bulk of the tundra lay and thus most of the Land of Glaciers which was not marked down on a map. He was hardly cold, with his gloves and flak jacket keeping him warm not to mention many years of being used to the cold making this a simple nice stroll for him. His opponent however was on his mind, someone who fought similar to himself using a sword instead of jutsu, it was perfect honestly perhaps it was his samurai blood crying out for the challenge who knew. He would keep his breath steady and keep walking as he planned in his head, the mission was a bounty, though it wasn't exactly specific with the dead or alive nature of the target. He would try to take them alive if they were a true shinobi like himself however if they disappointed him or he was in danger of dying he would no longer hold back but would limit himself so he could bring their head as proof of the kill.
