Team 8 Mission Topic

Megumi was chewing bubblegum was she waited for her squad to arrive in the area, she knew she had gotten off on the wrong foot with them but it happened and she wasn't regretful for her treatment of them. To be completely honest she didn't want to be a squad jonin, she was more than happy simply serving as a normal jonin however they had said her skills would be good to pass on to another generation and so here she was, stuck with brats with no respect. So much additional work had been placed on her when she was supposed to be relaxing and what not, an A-rank every month or two and she'd live fine but nope, none of that now. Just...fucking D-ranks.

To think that Mariah would be the first here, this wasn't going to be fun. She had hoped that there would be someone else so that she could talk to them and not bother with Megumi but of course that was not the case. Floating over to Megumi, Mariah kept an amicable distance of about ten feet and she crossed her arms over her chest. "Sensei, do we truly have to complete simple D-Rank missions?" She asked softly, raising one of her black eyebrows as she hovered there, about a good few inches off of the ground. Mariah really didn't like this person but Megumi was her sensei and thus she would have to listen to her whether or not she liked it. So instead she decided she'd keep an emotional detachment from her, if Megumi wasn't going to care about Mariah then Mariah wasn't going to care a toss about her.

Raizen would be the second to arrive as he did so there'd be a slight buzzing before he would kinda appear sitting in one of the trees yo Mariah he'd say he decided not to wear a mask or his hoodie just his clan emblem black and whit shirt and pants his hair kinda shielded his crimson eyes he would see megumi but not Roxas so he'd sit and wait wondering if Mariah would come over but she was speaking to their.... Sensei so he'd keep his distance and wait for the assignment

Yep, as unfortunate as that is apparently there is a requirement for genin teams to do D-rank missions before they can do C-ranks, and to do those before they can do B-ranks. Honestly it's just a massive scam so the Shogunate has a constant source of revenue from all the numerous D-ranks which flood in and, it's a way for Civilians to benefit from having shinobi in their lands and escape doing shit for themselves. Megumi said with a sigh as she looked at Mariah before noticing Raizen had arrived as well, so that was two out of three now all that was left was the Kukinorite and they could get started. She would remember the scrolls she had in possession, she had picked one of each of the common D-ranks and would divy them up while using clones to monitor their individual progress before they would attempt the last mission as a group.

Roxas was a few minutes late. His skates rolling across the ground could be heard as he turned the corner backwards. He adjusted his movements and began heading to them while skating in reverse. His head seemed to be completely focused on a book he was reading. It was amazing he didn't end up running into something, but he seemed to move around as if he was looking where he was going.

And that's three, alright that's three, I'll be splitting you guys up with each of you being monitored by one of my shadow clones so that you can complete the missions with ease. I'll be doing one as well and when we are all done we will do the last one together, don't worry about pay at the end I'll divide it among you guys, depending on the amount of effort put out today so if you can try to treat these missions seriously.. Megumi said before making the cross hand seal with three shadow clones appearing out of puffs of smoke before walking next to each of her students.

Each of the Megumi's said before walking away expecting the students to follow so that she could debrief them all separately along the way, long story short though, Raizen was stuck with baby sitting, Mariah had building demolition, Roxas had grocery delivery and she had gardening..they should be grateful she took the worst one of the three. Either way when they got back they could go and organize the library together and maybe if they were nice she'd teach them something.

Roxas caught his scroll without looking up and followed behind one of the clones. He didn't say a word or even give much hint to his following besides the sound of his skates rolling across the ground. It was strange that he would be so silent lately when he was normally a talker.

So Raizen and Roxas had finally shown up... Mariah suddenly burst into laughter for a couple of seconds realising the team initials were a matching pair of R's and M's but that was quickly over and by with. The reason being that it was time for missions, hopefully which would be over bloody quickly so that Mariah could go off and do other, higher ranked and better missions. So with a sigh Mariah looked over her two squadmates. "See you two later," She then gave them a wave and turned.

Following off along behind her sensei, she would follow her until such a point where she was told what she had to do and then do so with the least amount of effort... Or most, depending if this mission actually ended up any good, she had a slightly odd feeling that it might just turn out so.

Roxas returned with some watermelon bread and was busily chewing down. He had already completed his mission and was returning to the meeting area to see who else was done. His mission hadn't been that bad. His abilities had been perfect for it actually. With a small yawn he looked around to see if anyone was around.
