There was about five minutes to go and a pair of sharp blue eyes, almost glowing, focused upon the clock as the hands ticked round, bringing her students closer tick by tick. It was another day of teaching and Isis gave a yawn, she had almost slept in today and thus she was still rather tired, thank goodness she could flit through walls to get here even quicker than usual. As the first student walked in, Isis spoke up. "As you walk in the door, take a seat and then tell me your name and village, the class will start once I know everyone's names and the like." Isis called out, her voice was a blade in the relative silence and soon she started to receive names and classes.

Yvette walked in silently frowning which was hidden under her scarf when the instructor said to state name and village, it drew attention to herself though, she was sure her mundane name and small appearance would have those would were trying to figure out people overlook her. Yvette Ocelot, Ibaragakure. she said her voice loud enough for at least the instructor to hear but she wanted to convey that she didn't speak often, it was better to be silent anyways, talking was something of a privileged not something expected like most saw it was.

Yve-Chan!!!!! Zelana said bursting through the door and launching herself in a flying glomp to tackle her friend off her seat. If successful she would cling to her for a couple of moments before remember she was in a class and would jump off of her. If she wasn't successful then she would crash into the desk with a hard clang and would remain there for about 20 seconds groaning in pain before springing up and waving wildly as she realized she was in a classroom. Sorry sorry Sensei! I'm Zelana Yaju, from Hakagakure heh. she said before taking the seat nearest to Yvette.

Akuchi walked into the room looking around for moment before finding a seat, he was just let out off the medical area but felt good as new. Akuchi Tamanegi, Samuigakure He said leaning back in his desk as he waited for class to start. He could not help but remember the fight he had with the ibwa from his village getting hurt like that was a near death experience, something he did not want to happen again.

Ugh, third class of the day...so...tired... Cyrus muttered as he walked into the classroom. He looked at the teacher and nodded in respect, How's it goin? Cyrus Taki, Ibaragakure. With that, he looked around the room at the empty seats before spotting another Ibaragakure girl from when they had arrived. With a sigh, Cyrus climbed the stairs to where the girl sat and took a seat across the row from her with a simple nod of acknowledgment. He then took out a binder and pencil and began doodling on the desk in front of him, bored and tired as usual.

As everyone rhymed off their names and classes and there was a weird reunion between two people but Isis just shrugged it off before waiting for everyone to take their seats. "So we've got a pretty mixed bag with us today." The Hybrid nodded, stroking her cheek for a moment before she moved her hair out of her face and then crossing her arms over her chest. "So, you're all here for Genjutsu!" She called out as she looked at them all, wondering just what style of Genjutsu they would use. "So then, I won't bother treating you like absolute beginners by asking about the five senses that genjutsu affect or the three ways of breaking out of genjutsu. Instead I will ask which species of the three races; Human, Nova and Zireh, specialise in Genjutsu or Mental based techniques?" She asked, waiting for a hand to go up in response.

Akuchi shook his head trying to think but he could not think off the answer, genjustu was not his main focus so he was not that ashamed he was here to learn so he simply blurted out a answer hoping for the best. Human's, i think ronin's are pretty good at that kinda stuff. He said looking at the teacher too see if he was right or wrong hopefully he was not completely wrong.

The problem for Cyrus, as well as everyone else, was that where he failed at being a strong fighter, he excelled at being book smart. Anything the kid read was immediately saved and stored, and Chyrus read a lot. Of course a long with being a smart kid, came being a smart ass unfortunately. Eh, wrong. The question is, in a way, a trick. No one race excels at genjutsu. A better question would be which class. For the humans, it'd be the ronin, like you said. So good for you, you get a third of a point or something. For Nova it's Dakar, their fabrication techniques are some of the most powerful mental techniques known to the shinobi world. Finally we have the Entity of the Zireh race. Their mental progress is so advanced it can actually physically harm you. Which is the best is mostly left up for debate, being personal preference.. Cyrus looked around the room, finally finishing his rant. He looked at the other kids who simply stared back at him before shrugging, Or at least, that's what I've read.. With that he put his head down on the desk and apparently fell asleep.

Yvette blanched before leaning out of the way of the tackle and cringing when she heard the clang as Zelana slammed into the desk almost knocking her out of her seat. She would stare at her room mate with loathing as she had completely ruined her cover and now she would attract attention. She gave a small nod at the other boy from Ibaragakure out of courtesy before waiting for Zelana to move and covering her face with her hands as she tried to calm herself down. Once she was calm she would remove them and stare at the teacher listening for responses, and due to the fact she was biased she was leaning more towards Entity being the best at genjutsu, mental techniques would be Dakar as Fabrication was something nasty, and considering Entity were able to break out of Haki infused Genjutsu Ronin was at a low when faced against them.

PostSubject: Re: Genjutsu 101 - Class D   Genjutsu 101 - Class D Icon_minitime5th October 2013, 5:27 pm

A soft chuckle left Isis's mouth as first the Samui boy spoke up and he was actually correct in his answer about humans. However then the boy from Ibara, Cyrus or something, started up his rant. Isis rose from her spot and floated over to stare into his face, her eyes flaring up with just a tinge of anger. "It would app.ear that someone did not listen to my question quite correctly, Cyrus Taki." Her voice had a slightly dangerous tone in it. "If you listened properly instead of trying to assert your knowledge that is straight from the textbook then you would have heard that I said 'Which species of each race; Human, Nova and Zireh, specialise in genjutsu or mental based techniques.' Understand? I do hope that you aren't just booksmart or else you will never pass this class." She shook her head and then stood up, going back to her desk. "However, he is right. Ronin have Haki, a powerful ability that means their genjutsu is extremely difficult to counter as well as that they are able to combat Dakar with genjutsu, removing their resistance. Dakar themselves have Fabrication, manifesting thoughts into reality to give effects and Entity have Mind Lock, a frightening ability that causes their genjutsu to become physical." She crossed her arms over her chest and then took a breath. "So then, who would like to come up and give a demonstration of a genjutsu on the class? You must name it and give a description of what it does and no Mind Lock or Fabrication, please."

Cyrus picked his head up from the desk as Isis approached, So now students are scolded for studying?  Now that seems like a bit of a contradiction.  Tell you what, you pass me for the class and you won't hear a peep out of me for the rest of the time we're here.  With that, Cyrus promptly placed his head back down on the desk, signaling the conversation was over and the request he had just presented was more of a statement than anything else. He wasn't trying to be rude, he just really didn't want to be here. Genjutsu wasn't even one of his specialties, sure he had plans to maybe dabble in it later and he'd need to know the properties of mental based techniques so he could create jutsu to heal them. These were all things he could learn from a book though, or even just experience, not some useless class.

Zelana looked at the argument between Cyrus and Sensei and would quietly sit in her seat actually not liking the class anymore because people were fighting, she just wanted everyone to get along and stuff but apparently Sensei was scolding him and he was well not being really nice.

A small bark of laughter came from Isis and she shook her head as she turned back to face Cyrus. "Listen here, I'll pass you in this class if I pass you in this class. You don't get to make any demands or offers. And I'm not scolding you for studying, it's just the fact that this class will require use of genjutsu, not just the theory. That and you had failed the question by believing I was wrong. Nevertheless, would you care to come up and show the class a genjutsu Cyrus?" It wasn't too much of a request but it was phrased as more of a command for Cyrus to get up and show the class how it was done, if he was so smart in the books then he should easily be able to show them how to do this.

Cyrus sighed, this was going to be a very long class and all he wanted to do was sleep. Picking his head up, he looked at Isis before replying, Sorry Sensei, but no can do. I don't have any genjutsu to demonstrate...that's sort of why I took the class...to learn genjutsu. Cyrus, to his credit, wasn't even trying to be a smart ass this time. It was simply plainly obvious that someone teaching Genjutsu 101 shouldn't expect all of their students to already know genjutsu. The whole point was to learn genjutsu from this class. Granted some might be farther ahead than others, considering genjutsu wasn't exactly Cyrus's specialty, but it shouldn't be unheard of in a beginner genjutsu class that someone doesn't have a genjutsu technique yet.

Well at the very least the other Ibaragakure shinobi is attracting so much attention to himself that I'll pass through the radar unnoticed, then add in he's giving the village a bad name, awesome. Yvette thought to herself as her eyes went back and forth from Cyrus to their instructor as she smirked which luckily was hidden behind her scarf so it looked as if she was just staring blankly, she had learned rather early on not to smile with her eyes, it allowed her to look all stoic when in reality she was just as expressive, if not really quiet about it, as anyone else.

Zelana continued watching the exchange before clearing her throat to get attention and when it was acquired she would cast a genjutsu binding on Cyrus just because he could of been much more polite to sensei. Genjutsu Binding. she said happily and would hope that it landed so that she could remove it from Cyrus and they could move on with the lesson as genjutsu was rather important to her at the very least.

With his head still up off the desk, staring at sensei, Cyrus suddenly found the walls around him melt away. Next came images of the entire class on a beautiful beach, splashing in the waves, tanning in the warm sun, and building castles of light brown sand, all with smiles on their faces. To anyone looking at Cyrus, they would notice he had become very still, his look far and away, distant. After about a minute, Cyrus's brain finally realized what was going on and snapped out of the genjutsu. He silently scanned the room of faces, looking for the person that had pulled a trick on him, but unable to locate them. He wasn't mad, but he had taken the hint. There was no reason to continue his charade any longer, the less heat on him, the faster this class would go. Right then, I'm going to be quiet now.

Watching the genjutsu get activated, Isis gave a nod to Zelana. "There we go, Genjutsu Binding, a low level technique but in the right hands it can be extremely deadly, well done Zelana." Isis took a deep breath and tapped her chin for a few minutes. "So then, we all know the purposes of Genjutsu, we know how to break out of them which is obvious as no one asked and you more than likely know the five senses that activate genjutsu. Genjutsu itself is a rather odd technique, able to disrupt an opponent's chakra and nervous system as it does, which is one of the reasons it is so powerful, it uses the opponent's body against them. Certain Genjutsu to a much higher degree than others. Well then, your homework for today will be to create a genjutsu and then you will be made to show it to the class next time you come, have a good day everyone!" Isis smiled and then gave a loud cough, everyone hearing it would instantly find the world around them darkening into black before Isis's voice would ring, her mind stopping the usual figures from appearing. "An example, to give some inspiration..." She murmured before the genjutsu shattered, leaving everything normal.

Guess I can show you all one off my genjustu Akuchi said standing up and moving too the front off the class he gave a small sigh as he thought off which genjustu too use but quickly choose looking around. This one is called Black Dream, causes the target too be sucked up into a black hole then a void for as long as the gen last. Akuchi said releasing his chakra as  he started the genjustu.

Yvette watched, of course she couldn't see anything as one of the perks of her ancestry was her immunity to genjutsu, sure she could use it, no problem but it seemed she had paid for one immunity by losing another an odd mix despite being an Entity she was tangible. Regardless it allowed her to pick up Kenjutsu and for that she was actually quite grateful to her parents even if their genes were all weird. She would watch the class looking for their reactions so she could promptly mimic them, she herself had very few genjutsu she didn't honestly want to reveal any of hers.

Hmm yeah, that was cool sensei. Genjutsu technique for next class, got it. Cyrus said, packing up his stuff and heading down the stairs and out the door. As he passed Aku, who had, for reasons unknown to Cyrus, decided to show off, Cyrus simply mumbled, Dude, no one cares. With that, Cyrus continued down the stairs and out the door, class dismissed and what not. He stopped before walking out the door, Wait, class is dismissed, right? That's how these things work. You give the homework assignment and poof away so we can leave...right? Cyrus half closed his eyes, narrowing his gaze on Isis, the coy little biznatch.

"Quite right, Cyrus, class is dismissed." Isis gave a small smile at him and then waved her hand at everyone. "Off you go then, make a Genjutsu of your own and then you can show me it next time. I'll be seeing you in a while I believe." She gave a nod and then walked around her desk before sitting down over her chair with a soft sigh. She ran her fingers through her hair and then rested her head on the desk once everyone else had left, she had a bit of time to herself then before others came so she could afford to relax for a little while.
