[EVENT: Kokuo Attack] Not the Main Target

Kimaede was enjoying a little walk around the beachline of the main island. It was a nice day. Was being the keyword here. The water began to hiss softly and simmer with smaller bubbles, bodies of fish beginning to float up to the surface and bob, their corpses growing closer to the island. The water itself also seemed to start raging, the water that was softly lapping the sand now starting to claw further and further up as if it was trying to claim the beach below its surface.

The faunus stepped back, as a particular spot of the ocean raged. A set of four horns followed by a gleaming white body poked out with a surge and a splash of water, violently tearing up the surface as the creature honed in on the village with a gallop and shifting directions, picking its attack points. A sound from far off echoed, it wasn’t a sound she heard of before, but she knew it was something major enough to cover such a distance with such a volatile cracking sound.

Bells rang, a sound of alarm and to evacuate. Kimaede hopped on one foot over the other, jogging in place and looking around before starting off to the people nearest to her to get them out to safety. She was soft spoken, but it was hard to miss someone that was bright pink running over to them.

As airheaded as she was, she understood danger meant to get out of there. Kimaede would do everything she could to make sure people were not straying away from the evacuation points and gathering up with others to where they needed to go. The faunus would trail away from a group if she saw another shinobi, letting them continue redirecting and looking for anyone else lagging behind.

Event Information:

Kimaede Zakiyoshi, a fourteen year old who enjoys walks on the beach. This was the kind of luxury that the beautiful village of Dipugakure would offer. Unfortunately today that all changed. The beautiful shores of Dipugakure had become a graveyard for fish and other fauna caught within a random body of steam.

Kimaede was wise to take off the way she did and as she met up with people she’d lead them to safety.  While she did this, she’d see a group of academy students lead by a chuunin instructor guiding some of the civilians to the safe zones.  Everything seemed well in hand in this section but a Genin would appear near her and make a request.”Thanks for getting those people here. Can I ask a favor of you? See that group there? They’re some troublemakers and last thing we need is any troublemaking in a time like this. They’re young so we aren’t sure they understand the gravity of the situation. Can you help escort that large group of people? We’ll stay behind and gather those who are left behind.”

The steam was quickly approaching. What the Genin and his squad wanted to stay and do was very noble but also very dangerous. Kimaede  can choose to deny their favor and offer a different solution, but if she wanted she could instead do them the favor and trust that she’s best needed with the group.  She must decide how she thinks she can best serve in this catastrophe.

Kimaede had firm belief in her genin comrades that they were capable of helping with rescue. Kimaede herself was confident that even with the most mischievous kids, she could reason with them. She made her way to the kids that were pointed out by the genin and waved her arms at them to get their attention.

“We’re under an emergency evacuation right now, let’s get you to safety!”, she said. Hopefully they’d comply, who would try to play a prank when there’s a bijuu on a rampage right at their front door? Even if they were about to bolt, she grabbed two of them by the wrist and started marching away towards another group of shinobi for them to escort. If there were more than two and they decided to run, she'd track them down as soon as she handed off the two she had a current hold of.

It was an epic day for the Crimson Waves gang. They're group mainly consisted of two boys and a single girl; Mugen the hot head, Jin the cool one, and their leader Fu the smart one. However, two others, Bo and Toya, would occasionally tag along for fun. The group was known around their neighborhood for causing trouble and getting into mischief, but today they had a grand idea. To take over the beach! Today they would claim this shoreline as their turf. Some may have laughed at them and brushed them off as children but their ambition was pure.

So when all the hullabaloo started as they proudly embedded their little flag, they were pissed. Everyone seemed to be going into a panic over a little steam. "Wow! If this was all it took to send everyone off the edge we would have pulled a stunt like this ages ago," said Fu as she laughed causing Jin and Mugen to joined in soon after. However, the other two did not seem to have the same nerves as they were quite frightened and anxious about everything that was going on. So when Kimaede dashed over Bo and Toya would freeze and start to cry as they were dragged along by their wrists to safety. Where a genin would nod before taking them off her hands. However, the other three were quick on the uptake and had bolted just as Kimaede came into view. Each of them split up into three different directions; Fu headed further inland, Mugen ran along the water's edge, and Jin took a diagonal route between the two. The trio had simply ran in random directions without a clear hold of the situation concerning the village.

The beach was gradually becoming a bad place to be as the heated waves grew larger and crashed harder. Anyone close enough along the shore was in danger of being hit by these waves, badly burned, and dragged out by the receding waters. Such was the case for young Mugen, while running he tripped on a rock and fell face-first into the sand. As he began to pick himself up a shadow loomed over, grabbing his attention Mugen went wide-eyed as a big wave was making its way to him. Thus it was up to Kimaede to continue after the trio or leave them to whatever fates they had in order to seek out other duties. After all, there were plenty of people in need of help and actually wanted to be saved. A couple of bad apples falling from the tree would usually be good for the rest.
