Description: Iaido refers to a specific style of kenjutsu that is concerned with the smooth, controlled movements of drawing the sword from its scabbard, striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword in the scabbard. The linear motion and force applied to draw the sword from its scabbard result in much faster slashes than ones realized with the sword already drawn. This is explicitly used by Cypher simply due to their mastery of weapon based combat which allows them to literally stop opponents from preforming equal rank ninjutsu if they are within a set amount of of the opponent and use this technique. If the opponent doesn't stop however they will sustain damage thus interrupting them from completing their technique & causing them to waste the chakra used in the technique requiring hand-seals. Iaido is very specific in it's timing and proximity to determine the exact speed at which an Iaido technique can intercept hand seals at a set speed, Iaido techniques are by definition Contact range, any time an Iaido technique has any rage above Contact (Short, Mid & or Long) it means it involves the use of Displacement Aura to extend the range. If the Cypher lacks that type of Displacement Aura then the rage is dropped back down to Close or whatever the max range they can get when utilizing displacement aura.

This technique is a powerful C-rank technique simply due to the speed in which it is preformed as it can slice a person moving at C-rank speed as if it was nothing. In addition when the user has speed tiers the damage is increased by 1-rank above the user's speed tiers, if they have reaction tiers above C-rank the speed of the opponent they can slice is increased to be equivalent with their reaction tiers.

Description: This is an advanced chakra flow technique which focuses on Heat Release's conductivity through materials rather than heating unlike most other Heat Release chakra flow techniques. The result is that upon impacting something it causes a repeater effect in which the physical damage sustained is converted into Heat Release physical damage while conducting through whatever made contact with it as long as said object does not possess an A-rank or above resistance to heat or isn't made of heat resistant materials. This technique can likewise be considered to be counter-weaponry as the heat coursing through said weapons is erratic causing those which aren't made with A-rank or above heat conductive materials to be destroyed in the process of conducting said heat through them. A skilled user however has an innate understanding of heat and thus is able to utilize weapons with a reduced capability of conducting heat without having them subject to destruction due to the erratic flow of the heat.

As a result often victims are swept up in the user's kata being unable to counter-act simply due to the force of impact rag dolling them through the air unless they possess strength tiers at least Equal-rank- (I.e D-rank technique requires D- Strength) if no strength tier check is specified within the technique. This requires a Dakar to first crouch before kicking off the ground resulting in a harsh cracking sound which causes those within a ten feet of the user to be deafened for 4 posts (total) with those with sensitive hearing being deafened for double the duration. The user bursts forward like a rocket at B-rank speeds leaving an imprint of their foot on the surface they kicked off of.

Description: The Eight Gates are eight specific tenketsu on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By undergoing intense training, one can learn how to open these gates allowing the user to surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own body. By learning this fighting style the user becomes more knowledgeable about their limits in combat, and eventually learn how to lengthen the amount of time they are able to maintain their gates active. The starting length of the Eight Gates technique is dependent on the user's Endurance Tiers as the chakra flowing through their body upon the release of this technique is stressful but those who possess high enough endurance can endure said pain longer than those without. Through retraining this specific technique, the user can extend this duration by 5 Posts (Total) each time, and depending on the user's rank their max limit varies. Likewise this technique serves as both a gate way and a means for the user to partially bypass their max technique limit, this is due to upon retraining this technique to a certain rank the user is able to utilize a specific gate (and those below it) even if they haven't learned the technique and thus added it to their technique limit. This comes at the drawback of halving the activation time & doubling the recoil upon deactivation, however to some the risks are well worth the rewards.

This grants the user B-rank Tiers according to their Race (Human = Speed, Defense & Endurance, Nova = Samurai Lvl Speed & Strength, Zireh = Speed, Barrier & Reaction). While active due to the pain of activation the user is broken out of a D-rank genjutsu, including those which are normally incapable of being broken out of through pain. Description: A technique designed for protection against rapid-fire attacks of various types that they would be otherwise unable to block. The user makes use of abrupt, fluid movements to shift their positioning just enough to avoid an attack, wasting minimal movement and positioning themselves for quick response. The movement resembles a leaf fluttering in the wind difficult to catch while landing itself in plain sight yet effortlessly moving away when need be It is flexible enough to adjust for 'trick' attacks (such as things which manipulate range), but obviously less useful as a defense against area effects. This economy of motion allows them to react to attacks faster than they normally could, assuming they are still capable of perceiving them. This technique is only effective however in reacting to incoming physical techniques using the user's sensory abilities and natural speed to dodge attacks. Meaning in short if they are incapable of tracking movement of a certain speed or having the speed necessary to dodge what they are able to track then this technique is ineffective.

Often at higher tiers the a loud shock-wave is released from the point of impact which shows how deadly this simple technique can be with the right amount of force trailing behind it.
