Ka Retrieval Mission [Gorge Of Beginnings (Lower)]

To say that Ka was unable to the pain from the collision of their techniques was a flat out lie, even with the exoskeleton protecting him from Jazz's base technique, the pain accumulated throughout the fight was wearing him down along with his displacement rage slowly chipping away at his body. He had put his body through far too much strain fighting Jazz, but then again he had always been even since he became a genin and this was how their relationship would always be, struggle and pain. However this time Ka would put all of his emotions into this attack as he put nearly all of his chakra into his rasengan, he wasn't going to be beat by Jazz this time, this time he would make her seem him as an equal. The two techniques would collide in a marvelous explosion that seemed to make the world around the two pause for the briefest of moments, it was something that Ka really could not explain but in the mass of destruction going on around him Ka was able to make out the shape of Jazz standing before him. An expression on her face that was certainly odd to see on Jazz, but one that he recognized quite well. He was able to instantly recognize the pain of losing a friend that was smeared all over her face. "She's finally growing up Jasmine, you trained a fine shinobi Roxas you bastard" Was all he would think as he made one final push to bring Jazz down.

"Jazz!!!!!!!"

Chirping, Grinding and then suddenly a pause where everything just got silent as the two techniques fizzled out. Jazz would keep her hand out if only to try and reach for him and drag him to her however a loud boom would go off as the rebound kicked in her body flying back with enough speed to break the sound barrier. Seeing as she was coming down from above she would be knocked back and leave an indent in the gorge wall as she smashed into it, a small crater forming roughing her body around but thankfully her defense tiers made sure that such an impact wasn't fatal. Truthfully she didn't even feel it, it was just jarring and her held out hand would fall limply downward as her vision began to fail her. "No. not yet I have to... I have.." she muttered before everything went black as she was gradually slipping into unconciousness from a combination of acute fatigue and the pain from her injuries. There she was easily about 80 or so feet from the bottom of the gorge embedded in a wall and too bleary to see the other outcome of the clash between their attacks. Even her sensory radius couldn't stretch that far, especially since she narrowed it down to 25 ft so she could focus it more.

Her eyes, she was too tired to open her eyes, so she would have to rely on her barrier and electrolocation to keep being aware of her surroundings. She didn't want to move, she honestly didn't think she could move if she wanted to she was just so tired, but if she was pressed to move she knew she could force it. She'd move much slower than she was normally capable of but she knew she could if she absolutely had to, for now though she would rest and hope that Ka was in as bad of a shape as she was because she didn't think she could fight anymore.

Jazz:

Ka was broken at this point in the evening, physically he was ready to pass out from the whole ordeal, mentally he felt like he had just taken a major test in the academy, and energy wise....... Well let's just say that it was good that the fight had ended when it did, or else Ka would be lifeless in the river by now. The explosion had sent Ka flying backwards at the speed of sound right back into the river with arather impressive splash into the river. a massive wave had crashed over the rocky shore as Ka would resurface on body of water. As his body stay afloat on the river's surface almost motionless as the water seemed to calm down, Ka could slowly put his hand back into his pocket to retrieve the paper he had placed in their earlier. "I'm no....... Down that easy" He would say slipping in and out of consciousness as his body would start to float above the water, moving just slower the walking speed towards Jazz who was embedded into the wall of the gorge. He had complete his task as her team mate by helping her learn to live with her feelings and emotions instead of suppressing them like she was previously accustomed to, now she was to be given he reward for earning his respect properly from her.

He would reach Jazz after a couple minutes of slowly levitating towards her, his body beaten and bruised while his clothes tattered from the damage of the explosions they had been a part of. Slowly reaching out his hand to place the piece of paper in her own. "When you're ready, go there with an open mind" He would say before his body would fall to the ground, Ka had lost the battle within his body was would pass out before hitting the ground.

Jazz would feel him approach her body protesting, and actually trembling a bit as she didn't know whether he was going to renew the fighting when it was obvious both of them were spent. She didn't want to fight anymore, she was tired and honestly if he felt this strongly about it she would let him go for now, so she could recuperate and bring him back another time. But to fight again she knew if they kept at it, both of them wouldn't be going back that was for sure and truthfully she didn't want to die here, she hadn't accomplished her dreams nor claimed her birthright or gotten revenge on her mother. But when he spoke to her and placed something in her hand, it was all her energy put into storing the paper into her digitized storage before the strain of manipulating her chakra would cause her to slump into unconsciousness as well. There she would remain head bowed still embedded in the wall oblivious to the body hitting the ground below, she didn't know what he gave her but she knew she had failed. He could still move she's lose consciousness knowing that by the time she woke up he'd probably be long gone.

A soft, barely audible sigh escaped his lips. In truth he didn’t want to be here and didn’t understand why he even needed to be here after all he wasn’t apart of Telarossa’s elite guard or apart of the INCO order but he had receive directives straight from him and he knew better than to disobey that man. But even though he didn’t want to be there he did enjoy that fight so at least he had some entertainment while he waited on them to conclude the fight since he had no intentions of interrupting their lovers quarrel. It was rather commendable the extent the small girl went to in order to bring back her friend and he had admired that, maybe if they weren’t enemies they could’ve been good friends. The boy however, he wasn’t so sure about. It seemed that all he cared for was power which is why he wanted to come to Pandora anyways which in the long run may cause conflicts between the two, though he’d probably avoid him to avoid such a confrontation. “Well, time to get going.” He muttered to himself as got up from the rather comfortable position he was in and headed towards the two fallen bodies.

“What a pain this is.” The young boy muttered as he stood before the two bodies. They weren’t dead, which was good since if he had arrived back at the village with a dead body he’d probably get scolded. “Tsk he looks damn heavy too.” He said before kicking his body hoping that would wake him up so he wouldn’t have to carry him. If that didn’t work he would then proceed to pick up his body.

Ka was currently going through all that had happened in his head when the new person showed up, his body lay motionless on the ground. Sure Jazz and himself had ended the fight in a draw, but the fact that he had broken the Brain charger only solidified his own small victory in the bout, his goal from the beginning was to bring the Old Jazz back and he had done so. So why was he feeling guilty over the events that passed? Something that he would have to spend the next portion of his life discovering for himself, however for the time being he was just going to have to try and make his own body move. With his barrier undone he was unable to move his body through his psionic magic, so maybe he would be given a moment to recover some of his stamina before the new person would make a move. Unlikely as the guy walked over to him, and kicked his body to try and wake him up. "I'm awake you idiot" He would say with a groan as he tried to get himself to sit up, but was unfortunately unable to due to the damage he had taken during the fight. "Awake, but unable to move unfortunately" He would say before the man would pick up his body in order to finish the travel back to Pandora territory.

[Ka exits]

Having heard that he was actually conscious he was relieved but it was quite obvious that he was unable to move on his own so that meant he had to carry him, which was a disappointment. Before he took him up from off the ground, he would kick him once more out of frustration of being dragged into this mess, but thankfully he wouldn’t have to be fighting any reinforcements but he kinda felt bad for leaving the girl there but she was the enemy so he shouldn’t be concerned, in fact he probably should just kill her right now so that she doesn’t come to haunt them in the near future but he wasn’t that kind of person. “See ya, kunoichi-chan. Hope you and your mouthy boyfriend here make up in the near future.” The young boy said with a smile before taking off. It was time to deliver the package to Telarossa-san.

Roxas had watched the fight from afar and it took all of Tekio's immense strength to stop him from interfering. He knew what was happening and had asked her to restrain him no matter what. This was something they needed to experience in order to grow. Rosa's had never been around due to too many duties leading the ASN. He had no true right to even be called a sense, much less interfere with their fight. Upon the collision of attacks he managed to break free of Tokio, delivering a quick Afterstrike to her gut to force her to let go. He then took off after the fight. Luckily they had stationed far enough away so that Yoshi wouldn't be spotted. By the time he got near ka was already gone. Yoshi and Tekio came crashing in behind him, his body almost indistinguishable compared to the beast lumbering along behind him. As he got to the gorge Roxas would jump atop Yoshi's head who would then raise Roxas up to the eighty feet easily. Roxas would jump against the wall and stick to it, grabbing hold of Jazz and carefully pulling her body from the rock face before jumping back on to Yoshi's massive head. Roxas would lay her flat, Tokio leaning over his shoulder. Tokio handed Roxas a bottle of water which he used to wash some of the dirt and any blood from her face while he checked her pulse. Once he was certain she was alive he would attempt to force her some water and bread to try and fuel her body and chakra to make sure she would be alright. "Come on Jazz. Don't die on me damnit." he would say hoping to see at least some sign of life in her. If she did wake for even a moment she would see greyish blue eyes hidden beneath a pure black cloak overlooking her. The voice would be oddly familiar but due to some alterations it would be just enough to question who was speaking. But only barely.

Jazz would initially not stir, though she was breathing faintly she was fine albeit the acute physical exhaustion, him checking her pulse would find that she actually lacked one yet seeing as she was still breathing it didn't mean she was dead or anything. Blood wise, even though her body was cut up, especially her shoulder other than a mass of writhing threads there wasn't any blood to be found on her though her clothing was caked in dirt and mud. She wouldn't open her eyes, or her mouth when she did wake up as she couldn't see but could feel someone giving her something and immediately take stock of her situation, a Tigrex and a man in a cloak didn't put her at ease not in the slightest. But she was resistant to poison and she needed the fuel so she would accept the offer of food if not to use the potential energy gained from the food. She would still remain prone, everything hurt and she wanted to rest enough to make sure that if she needed to she could cut and run with her lightning release armor. Or at the very least get some distances so she could summon her puppets and at least not make the potential fight a one sided slaughter. [i]Who is this person and his voice is familiar but more importantly why is he helping me. ASN? But if that's the case why didn't he get Ka, unless Ka's already gone...[i]

Roxas breathed a sigh of relief when she managed to get the stuff down. He was glad she was OK as can be and that him not interfering didn't leave her dead. He sat her head on his lap and stroked her hair as he looked at Tokio. "Go out and locate another ASN shinobi. Ten report back to me of their location. After we determine the area is safe we will go," he would say to Tokio who then took off. He would kiss Jazz's forehead. She was still tiny but slowly getting bigger and bigger each time he saw her. He wasn't sure if he could hear her or not, but just in case he wanted to reassure her that she was safe somehow. "He wants to make sure you're safe. He is always watching your progress and will continue too. One day you will meet him again. If you choose to take everything out on him then he will accept it. He knows he was never there for you, but he himself was alone most of his life. He was busy and afraid. Afraid that he wouldn't be good enough for you. And so... He decided that you would be better off on your own. But even so he will stay as your guardian angel."

Once Tekio returned she reported the location of the nearest ASN member and of any fauna in the surroundings. Roxas decided it would be best to leave before reinforcements came and as such he would jump down onto the only patch of grass he could find and lay her on it. He would then turn to the sky and cut his hand. Metallic Blood gushed out in a flood of heat and began to spiral down his arm. He was building up an intense amount of heat for something. Luckily only possibly three or four people even saw a glimpse of this technique so Jazz wouldn't be able to completely recognize the konagona. It would take a moment to charge though.

Jazz would have recoiled from the display of affection, only she was resting and didn't want to alert whoever this person was to her still being strong enough to flee. Still she heard his words, and it would leave her pondering them but she wouldn't reply feigning being too delirious to really hear him. The real danger was the Tigrex she was above, even if she could take advantage of this persons lowered guard and deliver a vicious shock to his body the Tigrex would just snap her up in it's jaws and that would be the end of that so no she would wait and take what he said at face value. She didn't know why the person was interested in protecting her, the only ones who showed any true affection for her was her Da and Lynx only after the brain charge. Her eyes had been opened though, she knew that she could remain on Lynx' good side as long as she continued to act the part but most importantly she needed to get to the Shogunate to her Da sure her clan was safe but it's safety was a lie until she was strong enough to make it reality. Her thoughts were just distractions from the immense pain she felt knowing that Ka was lost to her, but it was no matter she would bring him back eventually no matter how long it took she would just have to add it to the things she needed to accomplish before her life ended.

The intense heat would startle her and she would reflexively curl into a ball preparing to leap away if need be, if it was an attack she knew she would have to hope it wasn't enough to end her outright. She could use the pain from getting hurt to generate electricity and could use that to use her Lightning Armor to flee and most importantly move her arms to reach her Digitized Storage. "Never again...I won't be vulnerable like this...ever again." she thought to herself cursing her lack of physical conditioning, her body was young and thus it was weak, and even though Styx had trained constantly she was still unable to remove that inherent weakness.

(Jazz Exits)

Once the charge was complete Roxas would punch straight up into the sky. Leaving a beam of orange light that scarred part of the Rocky area. It went straight up into the sky, bright enough to be seen for miles. "There. That should work as a signal flare. The ASN should be able to locate her much faster and give her medical treatment. So let's go," he would say before turning his back to her and taking off his hood. Tekio would take off hers as well revealing her shark like features. All that could be seen of Roxas is his silver hair. He would then take off at crashing ground speeds with Tekio and Yoshi following behind.
