The Stadium:

Due to the events of the previous matches the ground was dry, with cracks but otherwise the scenery was the same as earlier and the crowd would cheer for the various competitors who had made it to this stage in the exams. This was the final match of the Chunin Examinations being hosted by Kohaigakure and the first one after the Dobutsu War, the stadium was packed the crowds were cheering and this proctor wanted to crawl into his bed with his hunter nin fuck buddy and have tons of sex before passing out into blissful sleep. But no he was stuck here, hosting the exams sure he had enjoyed some of the fights but this final better be amazing otherwise he'd be pretty annoyed.

The crowd would become quiet as the Himeikage stood up to speak. "All of the competitors have shown their skill, and now it is down to just two the best out of this years crop of genin both Rookies this is their first ever chunin exams and yet they made it to the finals. Our future is bright don't you think?" She said prompting cheers from the crowd before they once again quieted down when she started speaking again. "From Team 10 lead by ex-council member & the leader of the Bachiatari Reiver Ogura. Summer has shown massive potential despite born from Civilians and was promoted early from the academy due to the war a testament to her dedication towards the shinobi arts. Since the start of these exams each of her conflicts have been ended in one blow.  Summer "Death Touch" Osuna." the Kage bestowing an moniker on the young genin while those who had bet on her would cheer though oddly enough the loudest cheers came from a couple both of which who look very similar to, oh wait they were Summer's parents makes sense.

"From Team 7 lead by the now diseased Roxas Kukinorite. Jazz is the heir apparent to the Kukinorite Clan and is less than a year old currently the youngest registered shinobi in history. Throughout her matches she has demonstrated her superiority over her opponents in fact during these finals she has further restricted herself to defeating each of her opponents with one hand. Jazz D. "Peerless Prodigy" Kukinorite. she said cheers echoing from the stands the loudest section coming from the Kukinorite clan booth which seemed like the entire clan had come out to spectate the heir's participating.

"Perhaps it was ordained by Susanoo as these two genin are the students of the council members who fought one of which Reiver killing Roxas and handing his head to the Shogunate to secure the cease-fire treaty. However since Reiver has escaped justice, perhaps this will be a bout to settle a score? Who knows, but it should be interesting, oh and if you don't like your new titles use your actions in this match to change it." she ended with the cheers beginning a new as she took her seat while the proctor would sigh and the obvious pandering to build hype.

"Alright, you both know that was just for theatrics, if you two try killing each other over some death match between your sensei I'm breaking it up and disqualifying the both of you. Settle your grudges if there are any outside of the exams like actual shinobi." The proctor said loud enough that only they would be able to hear him before clapping his hands once they were both ready and backing up. HAJIME! He said signaling the match to begin while body flickering away.

Her hands weren't shaking anymore. No blood covered them, no blood covered her apart from her shoulder. However she had torn the hem of her dress off in a long strip and wrapped it around her shoulder tightly before turning it to diamond with Glimmer, her armour over the top locking with it and preventing any blood from seeping out. She rolled her shoulder and got a grimace of pain from it but the pain vanished quickly, pushed into her normal Nagamaki for later use. Still she stared at her hands, knowing that she'd have to go and fight soon, another fight, against the person that had defeated her entire team. "Can I actually win this..." She wondered aloud, checking each of her weapons were secure and loosened for easy drawing before getting to her feet and walking into the arena.

The noise was the first thing to strike her, it was almost overwhelming. Her eye, singular, the other covered by her hair this time, brushed carefully to obscure the Kyougan entirely from sight, although her eye was closed anyway. She noted the few people she knew of as well as her parents, making sure to give them a reassuring smile. She wasn't going to lose, or at the very least she was going to give her absolute all in this fight. She drew Glimmer and held the sword above her head, letting it catch the light for a moment, shining brightly, a beam of purity before she dropped it down, holding it by her side, the tip scoring the ground and leaving a glittering trail of Diamond behind her as she walked up to her opponent, giving the young girl a bow.

"Hey little one. Let's have a good fight, okay?" She said with a smile beneath her diamond helmet, drawing her Crystal Nagamaki with her left hand and pointing it at the ground as well, letting the weapons shine with the light of the arena. At this range Jazz was already within Summer's sensory radius but as a show of good faith Summer hopped back until she was just at the very, very edge of it, only close enough to cut with the very tip of her blades. She then set herself and reached up, placing the tip of each sword against their sheaths.

As soon as the go signal was given she then slammed each sword in with her B-Rank draw speed, invisible pockets of displaced air suddenly erupting around Jazz to attempt to pull her towards Summer and deeper into her Batto range. Of course if Jazz locked herself in place she'd end up ripped apart internally by the twinned C-Rank internal damage dealt to her. If she was pulled forwards, Summer's hands would have changed over, both onto Glimmer before she swung upwards, light glinting off the edge and angled towards Jazz's eyes before the hilt would try and hit her in the crotch to send her soaring backwards, of course such a blow would be counted as accidental with her aiming.

Jazz was coated in blood from the last match having not bothered to wash it off, it was Omito's blood she would walk in with a finger in her mouth savoring the taste a bit and all the while looking like some demented kid with a lollipop. Well if said lollipop was her blood coated finger, she wondered what his blood type was as she put both of her hands behind her head resting on her neck as she decided to step into the arena. The crowd was cheering but she didn't care about the crowd no her eyes had searched out for where she knew Lynx would be sitting her face wide and innocent until she saw the nod from her clan head causing her to smile happily. She saw her opponent and the smile would get even wider as she closed her eyes flashing all teeth and continued walking until stopping at the predetermined place. Despite her closed eyes she was very much aware, no she did this to sort of make a point which is why the first words she spoke upon stopping were these.

"Ara ara, Nee-san don't worry I'll use both of my hands for you but just to make it fair I won't use my eyes that should be a good enough handicap right?" Jazz said in response to Summer's comment, but before she could continue her talk the match had begin and her opponent had jumped back and she felt a pull on her body so she went with it while lifting both  of her legs. That coupled with her hands being on her neck would look as if she was on a swing Wee! She's exclaim in excitement as she was pulled closer to her opponent outwardly making a game of this while inwardly she was increasing her processing speed so everything slowed down so she could analyze exactly what her opponent was attempting to accomplish. Thanks to her eyes being closed she never did see the flash of light Jazz's doppelganger would come out of her body through her feet who would attempt to catch the hilt before it impacted it's body moving both of it's hands at B-rank speed backed with B-rank strength but if it failed it receive the blow instead of the original who's legs would be planted in the doppelganger's back.

The moment the blow hit the two of them would rocket backward the doppelganger screaming in agony as her crotch was hit while Jazz would then kick off her doppelgangers back to propel herself farther away. If it didn't hit Jazz would still kick off her doppelganger's back to propel herself away from Summer. During the moment of the attack Jazz had not been idle no, Gama would be revealed to those in the stand for the first time while Hebi & Nume would also make an appearance except this time not hidden under the cover of smoke. The first. Toad, appearing in front of the doppelganger while facing it's creator it's back towards her opponent, which was in front of Jazz upon being unsealed Jazz was cautious the reasoning was simple if Summer's attack was was in fact fast enough to outspeed her unsealing which considering it was Geka Seido which she new by virtue of studying her fight during the prelims then Toad would be unsealed during the rocketing back effect from the doppelganger being hit by Summer's attack.

Nume & Hebi would be opposite each other about 10ft apart but each just 5ft away from Summer in conjunction with Gama the three would make an equilateral triangle with Summer being the center Hebi on the right while Nume was on the left. Nume would be standing upright while Hebi was off the ground just like Gama was when it emerged from Jazz's Digitized Storage. Now that the scenery has been perfectly captured we'll revisit the action of Jazz using the moment Summer grabbed her swords for a swing. Jazz's right calf muscle would be clenched and her left foot would twitch both at B-rank speed, this would cause two things, Slug would emit a shockwave from her Piston Discharger which would serve to make Summer stumble and Hebi would launch out it's tongue which would shoot forward at S-rank speeds aimed at boring a hole straight through Summer's right shoulder. Of course the aim was off if Summer didn't manage to dodge it, it wouldn't go straight through the middle but was aimed to be more like cut to the side, a superficial flesh wound that would make her bleed, but that was the point she wasn't aiming to cripple her opponent. But was done essentially to discourage her from not only using that arm but attempting a follow up to pursue Jazz seeing as it had been shot out during the moment when Glimmer was being swung at Jazz.

Chunin Exam Finals [Summer "Death Touch" Osuna Vs Jazz D. "Peerless Prodigy" Kukinorite] Hydra_11

Meanwhile back with Jazz it was while she was being propelled away that her Shadow would manifest, Jazz having angled the kick so that she would end up in a back flip landing in a crouch while sliding back a couple of feet her hands still behind her head on her neck. The doppelganger would land in between where Jazz landed essentially putting Jazz about 30ft away from Summer her doppelganger ten feet away from her and ten feet away from Gama rolling on the floor in agony. Her smile would vanish her face becoming completely stoic as her shadow manifested and those who had a weak presence of mind would see the arena warp to become a wasteland of death with each of the Hydra heads mimicked her expression. Deadly silent and devoid of grins simply staring ahead at Summer while Snake regardless if it's strike was successful or not would have it's tongue retract back at A-rank speeds back into it's mouth as it landed on the ground essentially on his stomach while Gama would land on his feet. "Hm. I take it back, I'll use one eye so I'll match you. Jazz said her voice no longer cutesy but in a flat monotone opening her left eye to stare at Summer impassively.

"By the way, what's that above you." Jazz said pointing with her gaze since it would move upward, sure Summer could ignore her comment or she could look up as well it was really up to her.

To think Summer would stand idle with such things going on was ludicrous, she wouldn't even give Jazz enough time to land on the ground. Although we'll go through the multiple events before that moment first. Of course Vexos would immediately highlight the additional body in the way of her strike and unfortunately for Jazz, the strike coming in was brought forth using both hands, the standard draw for Geka Seido. Thus it would far outspeed her Crashing Ground speed even if it was backed with B-Rank strength, requiring A-Rank of the same in order to dodge it. So the hilt would crack roughly into the Doppleganger's crotch, dropping it to the ground. At much the same moment, the tongue would enter Summer's radius of sensory but would be too fast to do anything about and would crack through her armour and slice through her arm, causing as said a superficial wound.

The pain from it was slight and she immediately pushed it away into her nagamaki again, ridding herself of the pain but not the wound. However something would happen to Hebi's tongue as it cut Summer's arm in that it would take S-Rank shattering damage from her Defensive abilities, more than likely shattering the tongue into pieces. The Diamond Armour on Summer would probably alleviate a fair bit of the blow but it wouldn't be enough and so she used a tiny portion of chakra for something else. Utilising the materia of her armour it fashioned itself into a clone to her side, taking her Crystal Nagamaki and then planting the sheathed weapon on the Doppleganger's chest before simply launching the sheath down, sending it flying into the Doppleganger's chest at Crashing Ground speeds, although of course it was pretty much stunned from the Hilt Blow. If the Clone was Successful, Summer would activate Sheathing on her own, causing the sheath to appear back on the Nagamaki and the Clone would deliver a Heel Kick whilst the Doppleganger was essentially on the floor, tearing the weapon out of its body.

Summer in the meanwhile had something else to do. She dropped one hand from Glimmer during the draw and turned, grabbing hold of the normal Nagamaki and then swinging them both behind her, launching her, just across the surface of the ground, at Vacuum Release speeds. Once she was under Jazz, who at this point due to speed differences would have still been in the air, she swung both of her swords towards the ground, the echoing blast launching her straight towards Jazz's stomach at Vacuum Release speeds, her knee extended to take full advantage of her Geka Style Shattering Defense to ram into and pierce through Jazz's stomach as well as launching her into the air. If it was successful, she would launch upwards again with them, soaring towards Jazz's location, rotating in midair to launch the sheath at the younger girl with her hands, moving at Crashing Ground speeds but with Jazz still within Summer's Batto Distance it would require S-Rank speed alongside B-Rank reaction to dodge or A-Rank speed and strength with B-Rank reaction. Once again, if landed, Summer would trigger Sheathing to pull Jazz to her and then Heel Kick her off the sword into the ground far below.

Summer's brutality admittedly was not unfounded. She had at least expected the girl to get cleaned up, to wash the blood of Summer's friend from her body but she hadn't, she was taunting it, gloating. She was fighting handicapped to rouse Summer's ire and it was working but Summer wasn't going to go berserk like Ka did, she was more controlled than that... More Cold. The darker side of Summer's personality, the one that she wasn't wanting to admit was a thing just yet was showing itself. As she got hurt, as she was enraged and bloodied, as she tried to kill and maim she found that she enjoyed it. Her rage was almost fun but she couldn't smile, not in a fight like this, not in a fight where her pride and that of her friend's mattered.

Once touch, superficial as it might be was enough, the moment the would was inflicted Summer would more than likely feel blistering pain as the cocktail of substances would come in contact with her body from Snake's mechanism. The diamond armor wouldn't even diminish the blow at all if not the piercing power then the liquids imbued in the wood would no doubt make short of the armor's protection, it was likely Summer had never faced a poison user in her lifetime. The most dangerous was of course the corrosion effect from none other than Cherish's own blood, the Grass Cutter mechanism getting quite a lot of Summer's teammates blood during the time that it had been poised to pierce the girls leg, if the injury wasn't gruesome enough than the fact that with all that alcohol coursing through her body she bled like a tap. But no the important thing was exactly what that meant here and now for Summer, said superficial wound would cut her enough to draw blood but then it would spread to corrode through her shoulder, sure Summer could choose to ignore the obvious blistering pain as her shoulder literally was exposed to an incredibly toxic substance but that was folly and she would sure completely lose her arm. Unless of course she chose to use a brief window of time to cut off the flesh on her wounded shoulder to head the corrosion wounding herself temporarily to avoid being maimed permanently. This was Jazz gave her a chose, as she was sure the proctor would see  otherwise with such an attack she could of chosen less of a mercy, like an arm or a leg, the choice was simple stop the pursuit to deal with the arm and thus bleed out more profusely or pursue to not miss her window and have her right arm melt off at the shoulder.

Snake:

Cherish's Blood for reference:

Summer's strike back against Hebi's tongue mechanism though, was amusing simply due to the fact that she would see her weapon smash into the tongue mechanism and fail to break it, her beloved puppet was much too sturdy for an attack of that level to phase it a testament of exactly how much care she put into her creations. Nume would be put back into Digitized Storage once her attack failed, whereas Jazz who had no doubt pushed off her doppelganger's back with B-rank speed would have undoubtedly clenched her feet upon kickoff impact it was simply done to gain enough force to kick off with strength not really something thought about in normal situations, but Jazz she thought about everything. So if the threat of her arm melting off didn't stop Summer from pursuing Jazz then the threat of 80 needles hurtling towards her lower torso moving at S-rank speed with A-rank piercing would be the second thing to make her reconsider. Oh sure individually they didn't do much damage just a D-rank worth of damage and stung like a bitch, but that wasn't the main goal, the main goal was bloodletting which every 10 of these hairs could cause a victim to lose 1 D-rank of blood, 80 would compound it to 8 D-ranks, adding in the additional threat of bleeding out from the shoulder wound, assuming she did the smart thing and cut into her flesh to avoid it being corroded off would put her in a pretty precarious situation.

Toad:

Those two things would essentially give Jazz the opportunity to land safely, if not then it was a simple thing to pop out a second doppelganger to receive the follow up hit, it was a common misconception that Geka Seido swung fast, sure they did but the outspeeding factor had more to deal with the spacing between a Geka Seido user and their fleeing or incoming opponent. As a result with Summer's unsheathing sure she could outspeed a fleeing opponent but it also meant that to Jazz who was moving at B-rank speeds and capable of processing things on par with time-slowing capabilities at that speed her swing was slow enough for her to calculate where it would impact and reply by spawning out another doppelganger to receive said hit instead of the original's stomach the doppelganger's back. Said doppelganger merely using it's own hands to shift the original out of the way who would land safely while Summer made short work of her copy. Her comment would stay the same as would the what's that above you, almost as if she had predicted the future.

Summer pulling her back towards her was likewise anticipated, after all both she and Summer knew that the latter's only way of winning would be in close combat and thus with Jazz's hands still at the back of her neck Summer would find numerous explosive tags fluttering down around her, no doubt the result of Jazz unsealing them from her digitized storage. There were 10, two in each direction, left, right, front, back, while one was up and the other was down each arranged within the radius of the other. It was on on purpose and thus when Summer pulled Jazz she would find right before impact her opponent completely unruffled by the chain of events as upon looking at the Summer in the air would easily calculate the distance that Jazz would end up needing to be for Summer to successfully "Heel Kick" her. Jazz's shadow would vanish, as would her serious facial expression as it would become bored as Jazz would simply teleport away higher into the air which upon emerging she would say the following words. "I forfeit proctor. I have this thing about 3 strikes and your dead, she's already reached that quota. Besides I think I've already shown off enough to earn my placement. Pity though...she didn't even get me to use either of my arms, & I was still holding back some of my vision. " Jazz said while sighing at the end keeping her arms in the same place with her eye closed as she spoke loud enough for the proctor to hear her and probably loud enough for most people in the stands as well.

Jazz:

She had shown her puppets, what they could do and the lethality of at all three, she's shown her poison making skill, as even if Summer had managed to save her arm the Snake Blood poison cycling through her system would of ensured her death due to paralysis within a couple of moments, that Jazz could easily stall for, or in the event of a true death match result in mutual death for the two of them. This of course wasn't counting the other two times she could of killed Summer during this match, the first being with Snake, she had aimed for her shoulder on purpose it was a flesh wound so that Summer could deal with it on the field while sparing the medics the time they'd need to treat her, if she had chosen some place else like say a part on her torso near a major organ it would be death or even shifted snake a few inches to aim for the center of the arm, Summer would be down an appendage maimed and by the time the medics got to her perhaps even worse. The technical second would be the explosive tag gambit, Jazz could of waited for the last possible moment the moment of the impact between Jazz's body and Summer's knee to activate the explosive tags to teleport away thus leaving her opponent trapped within enough explosive tags to deal more than an S-rank of explosive physical damage, SS- to be exact along the overlapping radius of 10 standard explosive tags. Did Summer have the body replacement technique, well she was a samurai so probably not if she did then she would escape her death, if she didn't then that would be death two, round that out with the poison and 3 strikes. Of course even in the other scenario she could of had Toad unload a lot more than 80 hair senbon at her if Summer had decided to save her arm rather than pursue Jazz, which would once again make 3 strikes albeit, 4 in total potentially put into play but that was neither here nor there.

"Perhaps we can play again next time Nee-san? Then you can tell me who did that adorable job of transplanting that Kyougan into your other eye socket." Jazz would say upon landing on the ground after forfeiting bending her knees a bit to cushion the landing while opening her second eye and revealing a little bit of info that she was sure would shock Summer, having lowered her voice so that only Summer herself and probably the proctor could hear. Either way, Jazz was done and would happily let Summer be declared the winner of the finals tournament.

One thing was certain though, Jazz had been steps ahead from the first match and had planned everything step by step to lead to this point, and would likewise explain if asked at a later date by a higher up or even Summer it wasn't as if she showed off all of what her puppets could do.

Hm. Okay. The Winner of the Chunin Exam Tournament is Summer Osuna, or should I refer to you as the "Death Touch" The Proctor said with a wry smirk as the crowd cheered, as per winning the tournament she would receive a bonus reward for showcasing her skills while those who had earned promotions would be shortly informed that they were to meet with the Kage of Kohaigakure personally to bestow them their promotions. Just like that, the examinations were over although the final fight wasn't as long and flashy like they had hoped it was fast paced and to those shinobi watching in the crowd it was more true to a battle between shinobi as most fights did not in fact last more than a couple of seconds to a minute at most. It was only among those of truly equal skill that fights were drawn out as even among Kage level opponents one mistake and just like that the match was over.

The pain in her arm was the first thing that went wrong, it wasn't like she expected. There was pain she could suppress but only to a certain point. The pain that lanced through her flesh was not something that she could ignore. The tongue was more than just a blade, she shouldn't have taken the cut but it was so fast, she couldn't have done anything. A scream of frustration and pain rent its way out of her mouth, her body seizing in agony from it but she held herself on her feet to continue with her motions. Her Diamond Clone however used the freed blade from its Sheathe Launch to carve the flesh from Summer's shoulder, ripping her arm open but not quite down to the bone. It removed the corroded flesh and Summer let out another scream, this one of pain entirely and she done her best to force the pain down. She had to keep fighting she had to win, she had to beat Jazz, to avenge her team, so show that she was worthy of Chunin.

Of course it probably would have helped that she didn't get impaled in the back. The needles entered her field of sensory but once again were far too fast for her to dodge. All of the needles landed and she staggered from the multiple impacts, her eyes bugging. Hideous amounts of pain radiated from her back and she dropped to her knees, lungs seizing, breath coming in choking sobs. Tears scorched her eyes and her cheeks but still she pushed herself to her feet, twisting her body, her natural effects kicked in and shattered the hairs, not that it mattered anymore. The pain almost overloaded her but she forced herself to stand and assess herself, the damage to her arm was serious but the damage to her back was minor, just absolutely agony.

Then Summer looked down. A deep mirror of red was spreading around her feet. She could make out her reflection in it as the ripples faded. She looked at her hands afterwards and saw how red they had been stained. It wasn't an opponent's blood, that was her own, it dripped down her arm, falling in fat crimson droplets from her elbow and wrist, sliding down the backs of her legs, soaking into her clothing. Her breath caught, her body shook and she stumbled forwards, arching her back and gritting her teeth. She wouldn't scream again, she could still fight, couldn't she? How light her head was wasn't helping and she knew that she was rapidly running out of blood, the liquid draining from her arm and her back but still she snapped her eyes up to look at Jazz. Her pink eyes glowed with rage and she made to step forwards before she saw the younger girl's lips moving, what was she saying? Was she mocking Summer because she couldn't dodge the strikes, is that what was happening? No, the words were different, they were... No.

"NO!" She roared, spittle flying from her lips and sweat dripping from her chin, mixing with the tears that crept from her one truly working eye. "YOU CANNOT FORFEIT! I... I LOST! I CAN'T BE... I can't... Handed victory..." Her voice turned from screaming to a mumble as the world swayed around her, the pain lancing into her mind, reminding her of every little wound that she had, the deep tiredness in her muscles, when had she become so weak? "Why did I lose so easily... Why did I win?" She asked, sniffling loudly and falling to her knees in the expanding pool of blood around her. She then flopped over onto her shoulder, the one that wasn't wounded thankfully and she caught sight of her parents but closed her eyes over before she could meet their eyes. They would disapprove of her... They would hate her for being so weak.... So would her team, she couldn't beat Jazz. "I lost...." She muttered to herself, trying to make sense of that fact, deluding herself from the forfeit, she couldn't have won... Not like this... This wasn't winning.
