Team 9/ Team Mellow Beaches and Playful Bits [Team/Squad training]

Kisuke could be seen sitting under a tree in the north dome that was within Dipu, reading the report that was about the new member that was to fill the final space in his team. Seemed to be a bit of an issue with his last team captain, not to mention the local public bath houses. A tendancy for the perverted, yet well versed in combat with his yo-yo's. Odd choice of weapon if you asked him, but whatever he was comfortable in combat with should be okay for the time being. You see he was reading Colt's report because today was the day that he would introduce the boy to the squad, and see how they would work together  as a team. He had already sent  a message to each of the team member to meet him here, now all he had to do was wait for them all to show up.

"Kisuke-Sensei!" Nyen would shout across the field as she ran to him, waving. Nyen had woken up extremly excited for the days events. Since her previous training Nyen had spent a few sleepless night thinking about how she was in the way so much during the sparring but after a while she began to focus on more how she had been able to land the final blow, showing her that she did have potential. She also thought about how Kisuke and R'tari had saved her. She knew she could count on them and if she was in trouble she knew they would come to her aid. She didn't want to be the third wheel always being protected by her higher ranked teammates so she promised herself she would work harder on her perception, and had given herself a bolt of optimism. As she came up to Kisuke's side to read the papers she was holding she furrowed her brows, hoping what she was seeing wasn't what she thought it was. Maybe she needed glasses. Oh no.... Looking over Kisukes shoulder (or him arm rather as Nyen was quite short) She could see the photo of the boy she had met walking home from the bath house. The ONE day i don't wear underwear.She realised there was probably a shade pink rising in her cheeks thinking back on that embarasing meet of chance. She quickly calmed herself down and quietly asked"Sensei, If you are thinking of having this boy join our group I would suggest reconsidering..." she said, adding a quiet "Sensei" and a nod of her head in his direction for extra measure.

R'tari would arrive some moments after Nyen did seeing her rush over to their sensei would cause him to smile before he jogged over to see what the fuss was about. He would catch a couple of words however causing him to peek at the paper as well before noticing it was about Colt. Hello Sensei, Nyen-chan. Um... don't worry about Colt I used to teach him in the academy sure he's a pervert but I have an anti-pervert technique I use to motivate him if things get to difficult. He responds better to female instruction.. R'tari said rubbing his temples as he thought that Colt had been on another squad, but was sure his habits had lead to a disagreement of sorts. I guess I have to revert to that personality...err please don't judge me, but he finds it creepy and tends to perv on people less when I act a certain way, maybe when he learns to turn down his perverseness I'll go back to my usual personality. Unless Sensei has a better idea? he said finally calming down enough due to having stopped the potential migraine that seemingly formed at the mention of Colt.

Hopefully the boy had grown up a little since his Academy Days, if not well R'tari wasn't one for confrontation but he would have to grow up or at least hide his perverted tendencies better so that it didn't ruin the team dynamic.

Last to arrive was Colt, and this time it wasn't due to peaking on the women at the bath house. No today he was late because of his two escorts making sure he didn't escape their custody. Two Chuunin stood on either side of Colt as his detention officers escorting him from his probationary officer. Colt was trying to think of a way to escape when he saw his team up ahead and spotted two very familiar people. One was his former sensei R'tari . R'tari had kicked the shit out of him in training, though it was so long ago the places he had kicked ached with ghost pains. He liked R'tari though, he was the only one who didn't care what Colt did in his free time. And then there was the second person there. Once he saw her dark skin and that familiar silhouette all thought of escape left his mind and he waved to them both.

"Rtari Sensei! Bareback NeNe-chan! I can't believe you are my new teammates!" he called out to them and began running ahead to them, baffling his escort somewhat but once he was within range of his new sensei they left. Honestly, Colt had a bit of an infatuation with Nyen. He loved her spicy attitude and she was one of the few dark skinned people outside of his clan here in Dipu. As he came to a stop a few feet from them he winked at her and said, "You know my offer to go and grab a bite to eat together is still on the table."

He would then turn and bow slightly to R'tari and try to pat him on the shoulder. "It has been way too long. How have things been? You know I've gotten a little stronger since our last training. Maybe this time I'll be able to wipe the floor with you."
Colt gave no words or even acknowledgement to the new sensei. He had yet to form an opinion on the guy.

It would seem that Kisuke would not have to introduce Colt to the rest of the team since they had already met at one point in the past, R'tari seemed to be okay with Colt, however Nyen seemed to be a bit uneasy about the whole thing. Guess he would find out later what exactly happened. R'tari attempted to reassure Nyen that Colt was. Good person despite being a pervert, but hey everyone has their kinks, Kisuke for one always had a little soft spot for some Zap and Tickle. Kisuke was about to speak up when Colt was seen running towards his new team, and the nickname he chose for Nyen pretty much answered the question he was going to ask her. He couldn't help but chuckle slightly at the name, and would stand up after Colt had said what his hello's to the team, and yet didn't introduce himself to Kisuke. "Well I guess that no introductions are needed for the rest of the team. I am Kisuke Mishura, your team Jounin. And now that the final spot has been filled on our team, let me ask you all a question, and please be honest....... Why do you three want to be shinobi?"

When Nyen R'tari coming across the field she was glad he had come just in time to maybe help her convince Kisuke that Colt would be a bad addition to the team but as R'tari explained how he used to train with him and had a way of maybe controlling him a bit, she felt a bit better. Not completely convinced that Colt could in fact be controlled at all, Nyen still decided to use her idea she had thought of the evening after they had met. As soon as she spotted Colt, some iron sand from her gourd flowed down her back under her white cotten shirt and pants, forming a kind of layer around her underwear so Colt would be undable to grab them. Colts new name for her caused her to roll her eyes. She hadn't been called Nene for years. It brought mixed feelings with it since the last time she had been called that was by her older brothers but she shrugged it off. Noticing Colts escorts she scoffed"HA. What did you get in trouble for THIS time huh? you're lucky there was no one around to catch you the last time we met you perv." She knew it was probably no use antagonizing him. He was who he was and it seemed that being arrested hadn't changed his personality. heck he was probably arrested more time than she knew. Finally getting to the point, Kisuke spoke and as Nyen thought about why she wanted to become a Shinobi she thought of all the innocent people she had seen hurt over the years. Even though she didn't really want to say her answer infront of colt, she had spent a long time thinking about it. She decided to speak first so she could say what she needed to say before she lost the feelings she had in this moment. "To be a clan leader you must be able to protect your clan. Right now i don't believe i can do that." Nyen lowered her gaze, not wanting to accidentally look at Colt and throw her off."It's obvious after our last training that i need more training. I kept getting in the way and had to be saved. When you're clan leader, if you need to be saved...You have no right being the savior. I want to help my clan return to the way it was. A strong clan. That's why i want  to become a Shinobi." Nyen kept her gaze low, slightly glancing at R'tari, interested it what he might say. R'tari had always seemed to have a calm yet oddly kind personality. Odd in the way that he was a bit more menacing once seen in training. His techniques were quick and well executed. She wondered how His persona he spoke of would influence that.

Yosh! My cute kohai still remembers me, I'm glad R'tari said with a grin reaching over to attempt to ruffle Colt's hair once he was pat he would notice that he was at least excited to be on the squad which would make things a lot easier to acclimate to each other. When their sensei spoke though R'tari's smile would vanish as he became more serious he understood the importance of what was being asked, their Nindo their end goal and an individual's own interpretation of what it meant to be a shinobi. He knew his but he was curious to his teammates own, sure he knew they were younger and maybe hadn't really thought about it but Nyen would surprise him. He didn't know she felt so bad about her own performance during the spar but he was thankful that she wasn't overconfident and could admit her flaws, it meant she would learn from them and grow. Becoming a clan leader though he didn't expect that it made him want to help her with her goal even more since his own was more mundane.

My reason... I want to become a Shinobi to protect those dear to me, but not only them but also guide the younger generation forward and help them achieve their own dreams. I want to become a Chunin Instructor and teach future generations what they'll need to survive out in the real world. I noticed..back when I was a genin that the standards had fallen since the Shogunate took over, but now that we are free from their influence and deliberate attempts to weaken us I was hoping I could be one of those who could really establish a new standard for academy training so that when they graduate they would be more skilled in general things. This way rather than just those from clans or with a history of shinobi in their family excelling the clanless ones could have a chance which will lead to an overall better crop of genin who upon growing would lead to a larger and more skilled crop of active shinobi & kunoichi. he said before blushing as he realized he had gotten really into what he was saying, sure he was thinking more so about others than himself but it was because he had already fought in a war before, he knew the deaths that had occurred due to faulty training or busy Jonin. He didn't want that to be repeated and now that the Allied Shinobi Nations were a thing, he could pool his own knowledge with other Instructors and give future shinobi more concrete lessons.

To that end...I've tried to master Taijutsu the best I can, so that when I do become one I can teach all of my students the finer parts of my various styles. Everyone can have skill in taijutsu it is the one universal constant unlike ninjutsu or genjutsu. Having a solid base of taijutsu will help anyone out no matter how minor it is because...when one doesn't have chakra left, or weapons you always have your body. Knowing Taijutsu turns something everyone already has...into a weapon.

Colt didn't pay Kisuke much attention like usual but he did pay attention to Nyen. As he did his joy seemed to vanish with each word she spoke as a small realization came over him. He wasn't sure how he felt about this unique girl entirely yet, but one thing was sure... He would never be able to be with her even if he wanted to. Colts freedom of choice came because his elder brother was the heir. He had to follow the rules of the clan while Colt was free of all of it for the most part. And Nyen... She wasn't so lucky. From what he could tell from her words was that she was heir to her clan, meaning even if he made her fall head over hills for him they would not be able to be together. This made him both angry and sad. It hurt. So many other feelings became jumbled around him that he didn't even realize R'tari had begun to speak. All this was new to Colt. This feeling of heartbreak. He never even knew how hard he fell for this girl when they had only met once but now it became apparent. But what was he to do? Try for it and make his life happy? Or put some distance and allow her to achieve her goals while his heart got crushed? Love, what a cruel mistress.

Colt sat down on the ground and took out one of his yoyos from his jacket pocket. He began drawing random lines in the dirt when R'tari finished. "Colt Juryoku is the name, though I'm sure everyone here knows that." Colt wasn't sure what to say toward Kisuke's question. He didn't know what to say himself. But after a moment of silence something came to him. Even if his heart hurt from this decision he vowed to make it happen. As if on instinct. He wasn't sure why though. He could easily go out and find a more suitable girl. He wasn't sure why this slipped out of his mouth. "Why do I want to be a shinobi?" he looked up at R'tari, a few words of what the guy had said making it through to him. He would then look over once to Nyen before looking at Kisuke. "My only goal is to help NeNe achieve her goal. I'll help her grow strong enough to protect her clan and restore its power." Colt would then go back to drawing in the ground.

As Nyen listened to R'tari she would slow down her heart rate enough that she could look him in the eyes when he spoke. Listening to him get so passionate about helping others really solidified that her and R'tari were alike. She realised she really looked up to him, kind of as a father figure. Since her father's death she had felt a bit lost and since training with R'tari and Kisuke she found that she could count on them and trust them. Hearing R'taris answer made her proud to be his team mate, causing her to smile a bit. Maybe one day i'll be able to say i trained beside the great Shinobi R'tari. she thought to herself, her mind drifting into what could happen in the future. She's be a clan leader, R'tari would be a great teacher. Then she realized that it was Colts turn. She turned her face so she wasn't even facing Colt as he began, but as he sat on the ground she turned back a bit, interested in what he would say. Why would some one like him want to be a Shinobi?

When colt looked up into her eyes she didn't shift her gaze, looking down on him and trying to intimidate him. She wouldn't let Colt pick on her anymore if he was going to be in her team, But as he said his reason her eyes grew wider and a shade of pink flowed into her cheeks. She quickly turned away, crossing her arms and closing her eyes to try and say calm, grumbling "oh come on, take the question seriously." She had kept his gaze only a few seconds but she had seen something in his eyes. something different than the first time they met. She also realized that her iron sand was either too effective or that Colt hadn't tried anything on her yet, which surprised her a bit. "B...Besides, I'm not some baby that needs to be taken care of!" she would shout down at him, frustrated he had simply gone back to drawing.

Ah he's grown up a bit, I thought he was going to say he wanted to be a Super Pervert or something, that's good. R'tari thought to himself nodding before a bright smile came across his face. Yosh! Colt I am moved by your most youthful ambition and will help Nyen achieve her goal as well! he said loudly moving to pull Colt into a manly embrace and promptly swing him around like a rag doll. Nyen, we know you are not a baby but as teammates we should strive to help each other no matter the ambition, well with a few exceptions of course. he would say after he finish his manly hug with Colt putting him down and flashing Nyen a smile with a thumbs up his teeth causing some of the light to reflect off of it into her eyes if she looked at him.

Hm... we will all have to collectively get stronger to make her dream happen, lots of training, hard work and dedication, but I know we will pull though. Ah..but of course, Sensei? What is your own nindo, your aspiration for becoming a shinobi? he said rubbing his chin before looking towards Kisuke wondering what is own was, or rather even more so what prompted such a question.

Colt was about to retort angrily to Nyen when the hairs on his back stood on end. His fight or flight response triggered and before he could even wonder why R'tari embraced him, pulling him into a massive hug. Colt screamed out in reaction, his mind feeling shattered almost. "DONT TOUCH ME!" he would yell at R'tari before sparks flew from Colts body and an electrical pulse resounded from his body electrocuting anyone within a ten foot radius of him. Unless R'tari was fast enough to remove himself or had the necessary defenses he would find the shock the most painful, so much so that his nerves would be in such a condition that he would have little to no mobility in any part of his body. Meanwhile, Colt would black out for a second as the pain of his own technique rebounded on him both physically and mentally.

Spoiler:

Kisuke could not help but be surprised by the responces his entire team had given to his question, and they would all attain their goals if he had anything to do with it. Nyen wanted nothing more then to be a strong leader for her clan, yet seemed determined to do it without the help of other; something he would have to work on with her about. Sure she may have been killed once or twice during their last training session, but what did she expect to finish Kisuke off with one action. His attention was drawn to Colt as she spoke of her clan and couldn't help but feel sorry for the perv, lost his love before it was ever given a chance to blossom. R'tari gave yet another inspiring answer to his question, wanted to become an academy instructor and help the ASN become a strong faction once again. And finally Colt would respond in a manner that Kisuke had half expected to hear, to help "NeNe" out with ever fibre of his being it would seem. If this was a trick on the girl to get her to fall for him Kisuke would have to have a talk with the boy, and also to remember that move.

It would seem that both Nyen and R'tari would both be shocked by the words that came out of Colt's mouth, Nyen would half ass shun him for saying that, meanwhile R'tari would embrace him in a brotherly manner proud of Colt. Kisuke could hear the sparks start to shoot out of Colt's body, and would instantly grab both R'tari and Nyen by the collar of their shirts at vacuum release speed. Then just before Colt's body would unleash it's wave of electro-homophobia, he would secure the other two within his grasp and leap backwards about thirty feet at the same speed (A rank) in order to keep them safe.

Watching the way R'tari acted around Colt had given R'tari a kind of whiplash. Though she knew it was just a front, his new persona was so opposite of his usual calm and collected demeaner and was quite convincibg. As she saw R'tari get closer to Colt, she saw Colts face darken. It worried her a bit as he seemed very uncomfortable with his proximity to R'tari. She remembered how R'tari had said this persona was a way of cobtrolling Colt but she didn't want it to be like this. She was about to tell him to leave him alone when she felt a tug at her collar abd before she realised it, they were in the air. Looking back at Colt she saw the sparks of lightning starting to form and finally a wave of lightning radiated from him. As they landed she could see Colts eyes were now closed. She almost felt sorry as she looked at him paralized across the field. He hadn't pulled anything on her yet and he obviously didn't like R'tarI that much. Thinking back she realised she hadn't been a very good team mate to Colt so far, asking Kisuke to not allow him to join.

If he was going to be her team mate she woukd have to be nice. Otherwise this would just be a horribke experience for everyone. She promised herself and partially Colt that she wouldn't waste her time bickering with him.

I will be more wary in the future, thank you Kisuke sensei.A R'tari said his voice losing it''s upbeat quality and becoming a lot more somber. Having honestly forgot that Colt didn't like to be touched, well didn't like to be touched wasn't it more like physically couldn't be touched without having a serious form of backlash. h.. I forgot about your aversion to men, sorry Colt. he said once he managed to free himself from Kisuke's grip and make his way back over to Colt, it was a pity he didn't know the mystical healing palm technique otherwise he could of potentially healed him. Instead he would look rather glum at the situation being unable to really do anything about it. But he would take care to avoid touching Colt if he could help it, it did mean spars were going to be a lot more difficult he did wonder if it extended past just him but included his clones as well since they were in his likeness. What if he used that technique before using the clone technique would that still count as male even though the clones weren't male at all and were completely and physically 100% female copies of the original. It left much to ponder on really he would have to test said theory at some point, maybe another day or something.

Colt regained consciousness once his body smacked into the ground. Smoke coiled off of his body as he pushed himself to his feet, the smell of singed hair filling the air. He coughed slightly and held his head, sitting up partially so as to keep himself from collapsing. He hated that so much. Whenever a guy touched him they had a chance to escape but Colt never has a chance. This double edged weapon normally results in just him being hurt but he can't help it. He really needed to find a way to withstand the shock, maybe one of his teammates would be able to help him with that.

"Yeah how about you keep your distance from colt for now R'tari, not everybody is comfortable for your brand of lovin' yet" Kisuke said as he loosened his grip on bother R'tari and Nyen. He knew that Colt would act strangely around other men, but he never expected the boy to unconsciously try and fry everyone. Then again how was he supposed to react to something like this, hand to hand training was going to be difficult with Colt, well unless he could teach Colt through Nyen. She was looking worried about her new team mate and couldn't help but smile a bit. "If you are worried about him then go see how he is doing, sure your presence wouldn't bother him as much as R'tari's or my own" He said placing his hand on her shoulders in an attempt to reassure her that it was okay to be nice to the pervert of the squad, he was quite smitten with her so maybe she could help tone down his antics.

Nyen looked on a bit worried as colt fell to the ground. She listened to Kisuke, thinking it only logical she be the one to see if he was okay since she was the only female. She approached Colt cautiously, hearing him cough as he lifted himself up. "Are...are you okay? that looked like it hurt." she said, trying not to come off as too worried. His advance on her had made her wonder how serious he was. If she hadn't been in his team and instead had been replaced by some other girl, would he have said the same thing? she'd have to think about it later. "Does that happen every time? If you build up your endurance, maybe it won't hurt as much..." she suggested. She hoped maybe one day they would be able to figure out how to keep the electric explosions from happening she gingerly placed her hand making sure the same effect didn't happen to her when she touched him. when she realized she was standing there with her hand on Colt shoulder, they boy who had taken her underwear (or at least tried) in the middle of the street, she quickly withdrew, waving at the others to come back since Colt seemed to have recovered.

Indeed Sensei, training with him will be...interesting though I might have a solution...something we shall test later perhaps we can discuss it away from the other two so as not to clue Colt in the deception. R'tari whispered to Kisuke low enough to still appear conversational but enough that Colt or Nyen who were farther away couldn't hear the words he said. He would notice Nyen wave before walking back over maintaining some distance away from Colt but still being around. So Sensei, like I was saying before the well shocking took place. What is your own Nindo, your reason for being a Shinobi, clearly you asked us our own for reasons would you maybe share your own with us? he said turning to Kisuke and regarding him choosing a topic that could at least move the discussion past the awkwardness of what happened. He didn't say that to be mean as he saw the shock and it didn't seem to be that serious, sure it was potent enough to be a C-rank technique on it's own judging by the electric shock's voltage but he figured Colt could walk it off after a couple of moments, it wasn't as bad as it could of been.

Colt's head picked up as Nyen's hand gently touched his shoulder. He turned to look at her and smiled gently before getting back on his feet. "Thanks for the concern princess. But I'm fine. Something like that won't bring me down, I am your knight in shining armor after all." He pulled his hood up over his white hair to cover his hair which now stood up on end before following her over to the group. "So, what's on our agenda for today? It'll be good to stretch my legs after being in solitary confinement for so long." Colt would begin to stretch his legs as if preparing for a jog.

Kisuke would watch Nyen scamper towards Colt in order to check on how he was doing, Meanwhile R'tari thought of an idea to help Colt with his training since having a male around him could prove to be problematic. He would nod toward's R'tari before he would make his way towards the duo who had waved them both over, Kisuke would however hang back for a minute watching his team react towards Colt's technique. It was a difficult task to try and come up with for sure, sure he guessed both R'tari and himself could transform into women for the duration of their training but what good would that do Colt if his own technique could put him out of commission. Then again he wasn't exactly sure if he could trust Nyen alone with Colt either, so maaybe supervised training for those two. Kisuke was deep in thought about this dilemma when he heard R'tari address him yet again, but this time asking why Kisuke became a ninja. "Wel I know my reason is somewhat immature, but it's still holds meaning to me. The reason why I became a ninja is so that I wouldn't have to witness any of my friends or comrades perish in a battle"

Nyen would quietly grumble "I'm not your princess..." before turning her attention to Kisuke. She found it interesting how Kisukes answer was much like hers, but with one difference. Instead of merely protecting a clan, Kisuke wanted to save everyone. Nyen felt a bit embarassed now that everyone had said their answers. she had gone first but now regretted it since her answer couldn't cmpare to others. Maybe she needed to focus on something more ambitious...

No. she said to herself. My clan needs me. I am the noble heir of the kaironokuma clan and I will give all my energy and devote all my time to keeping them safe. She felt better after thinking it over and now stood between colt and Kisuke but across from R'tari, wondering what would happen next.

I don't think your dream is immature Sensei.. I think that such a goal is what other shinobi should aspire to, as one can only get true strength through protecting one's precious people. This is because the shinobi life is hard, harsh and unforgiving, kill or be killed, I am not so naive to believe in peace but, if I could protect myself and those I hold dear then I think I've done enough. Isn't that the same goals that keeps a village together, we work together, bleed together because at the end of the day it's us against whoever is against us. R'tari said his voice being rather solemn as he completely understood that sort of goal, after all it was the loss of a teammate that opened his eyes to the real world and changed him from the overconfident Mikaboshi with no care in the world to the person he was now. He would then smile, as he was glad he was on this team and would resolve himself to protecting each of them with his life.

Colt began nodding off at all the words about protecting others. He wasn't really so focused on things like that, if anything he was more selfish, only caring about himself and his interests. Which just so happened to be getting a glimpse of Nyen's bottom. But he also knew he had to make a good impression on her if he wanted her to like him. Gah what was he to do? Peep? Don't? It was tearing him apart so much that he didn't even realize he was beginning to pull on his hood in differing directions out of frustration, leaning back and forth slightly fighting the urge to pull her clothing up or use his hentai tactics. He knew he met her bottomless, but would she still be that way or would she be wearing panties? Maybe she was more mature and already wore thongs. It was tearing him apart so much. All he wanted to know was the answer.

Kisuke would listen to R'tari as he would praise his goals for not wanting anyone to die, however his attention was more drawn to the fact that Colt was now trying to decide wheather to peek at Nyen or not. The girl was obviously having an inner conflict about her own goal, which to be a strong leader for her clan was a noble goal indeed. On that Kisuke would be happy to help her attain. So Kisuke would pull a black needle kunai out from his pouch and throw it with A rank speed in between Colt's legs, not close enough to his ball bag to cause any damage, but the blade would still tear the crotch out of his leans and underwear. He would stare at Colt as he threw the blade with the "Don't even think about it" look on his face. "Well first of all I believe some ground rules need to be set since the team is now whole, so you will all sit down" He said glaring at all three of them to try and intimidate them all into listening to him, as now he had to be a captain of a team.

"Now while I lay down these rules I want you three to focus on your breathing and my voice, close your eyes if you must. Listen to your breathing and try to make it as quiet as possible, you dont nessisarily have to slow down your breathing but more or less controlling how youe inhale and exhale" Why not train them to do something that could potentially save their lives in the future while he lectured them. "Rule number One: This is a team, and as such it is your duty to maintain it as such. I will intervene when necessary, but it is up to you three to settle any disputes. Number Two: Colt you are not to practice your Erojutsu on Nyen unless she says it is okay. And the moment she says no more then that is it. Other women out there, well if you get caught I can only pull your ass out of the fire so many times, so be careful. Rule Three: Be creative. If you have an idea for an attack please share, and we will try to make it work. Even yours Colt, I'd be interested to see how you plan an attack."

Jutsu Taught:

Nyen would concentrate on her breathing, being as quiet as possible. She thought it would be similar like her iron sand controlling, but it was quite different. it was the feeling of completely controlling you ribs as they moved up and down, just lightly enough to not be heard. While she did this she listened to Kisukes rules. Rule one would be interesting.
