Clan Jutsu Training:
Requirement: 300 Words

Jutsu Training:
Requirement: 100 Words

Kyo would be sitting against a tree by himself, looking up at the clear sky that had no clouds. The one tree in the area casts a large shadow that gloomed over Kyo as he let the wind brush up against himself as directed his glare to the water in front of him. The smell of salt water ran through his nostril as he took each breath through his nose. He decided to get a little alone time, so he came to come chill near the water. He had no clue what Kirin was doing, but he went and told her that he was stepping out. Kyo knew it was the right decision to leave home. The place wasn't really like home anyways, he had a few friends of course, but the teen had no family there. He felt more attached to Kirin then the people he grew up with. It was weird how it was though because he hadn't known Kirin for too long, but he really just liked her. Kyo would smile when he thought of Kirin, her face just put him in a good mood, he really enjoyed being around her. The two had some romantic stuff going on, but it was still really informal, and it might stay that way. Kyo didn't like the idea of that though, he wanted to let her know how he felt about the two, but he knew he should give it some time for the two's bond to grow stronger. Kyo would grab a book that was in his item pouch and set it on the ground in front of where he was sitting. The book had the word Zakiyoshi typed out on it. That was his last name, and he shared that name with his parents, but that's all he wanted to share with them a name. They both died and left him alone. Kyo's eyes grew wide at the thought that just crossed his mind. They died and left him alone. Kyo realized how selfish he was being after 16 years of hate towards his deceased parents. They couldn't help dying, they didn't mean to. Kyo's palm rested on his forehead as tears streaked down his face. "I'm... I'm sorry. *Sniff* I didn't know better." This was the first time he really thought about his parents since he was around 5. He went 11 years, back then he really didn't think of it the way he did now. The boy wiped his tears with one arm as he looked down at the book again. Kyo would grab the book, opening it to the first page. The first page had a sticky note attached to it, "Kyo if you're reading this we have passed and are very sorry that you will have to grow through life's struggles without us. Although we are gone, we want you to know where you came from and that you are part of the Zakiyoshi Clan and that you have special abilities that can aid you during your shinobi life. If you want to become a shinobi continue reading if not, know that me and your mother loved you so much and don't read anymore than this note." Kyo's tears started again, dropping down onto the note and on the ground. If his parents didn't die he could of had parents that loved him. It just made him so sad that things could of been different, things could of been better. Kyo would wipe his tears away again, he had to stop crying, he was a shinobi who could stare death in the eye. He smiled after wiping the tears away, his family did love him though, it almost filled a open void in his soul that was now complete. Kyo ripped off the sticky note and continued reading, after a few pages he set the book down and would laugh as he stared at the water. He was part of a clan, a clan that he shared blood with and they were highly skilled in water jutsu and using sound based Genjutsu with their voice. It was funny because Kyo was working on those areas. Kyo touched the area on his body that he thought were birthmarks, they were gills. It seemed so unreal. The boy would towards the dock after he picked up the book. He'd drop all his stuff except his boxers and would jump in the water. The boy would hold his breath because he didn't know how his gills worked. Hopefully he really did have gills or else he could die. Soon he stopped holding his breath and his gills would rip open, hurting a little bit, but the he could breath! It was crazy, he could breath underwater! Kyo would climb back up the dock, his gills now opened, it was just a little crazy. He'd sit on the dock scratching his head. The teen would pick up all his stuff, and get dressed before walking towards the inn he stayed. He had to tell Kirin the good news. He sung aloud as he walked, he was freestyling a song about why he was so happy, using his great vocals. He'd stop and buy a rose from a flower shop to give to Kirin, and then he'd go inside to give it to her.
