Today we learn if a god can bleed (Carmen vs. The Shinigami)

Walking into the temple Carmen would have to admit it was big. It gave a lot of space for her to do combat with the Shinigami, honestly though. If she was going to fight it seriously she might need more space. With the techniques she possessed, the whole world might be wrapped up into the battle. That was another thought, now she would need to make one preparation. Creating a ball of black fire, she would add in a little life force then hurl the ball of blaze through the roof, high into the sky. Once it would reach an acceptable height, the life force in it would explode, creating a massive ball of blaze in the sky, one masked under the veil of frozen wind engulfing this area.

That would be all she needed to prepare, now it was time for her to call upon her opponent, she figured it would come regardless considering, with all the souls it has in its possession, the souls of two are missing. Two which Carmen had claimed for herself, the Shinigami might be a little pissed about that, but that was another ploy she made to prepare for this battle. SHINIGAMI!!! WHERE ARE YOU!!! She was trying to get its attention in anyway, but the Shinigami couldn't expect her to pray to it. Rather if it didn't show up, she would burn this place to the ground, allowing nobody to pray within this place ever again. COME OUT OR YOU WILL NEVER SEE THESE SOULS AGAIN!! Instigating a deity wasn't the best idea, but this was Carmen we were talking about, she took over the western part of the Land of Beginnings, so she would do anything.

"Heh... The shinigami will never answer your calls, stupid child," said a voice from behind one of the temple doors. The one to the far right opened and two men wearing similar clothes walked out. One was built like a bear while the other was smaller and looked to be more frail. The larger of the two had a black dot upon his forehead, the smaller of which had a red dot. "Leave this Temple at once. Wickedness is not allowed within these halls,"' said the larger of the two as he stepped forward, standing fifteen feet away from Carmen. It seemed she would have an obstacle to get around.

Hmm that damn deity was taking its sweet time bringing itself before Carmen, maybe the title God of Death was just for show. That is what Carmen thought until she heard a voice, a voice which got her hopes up until they were quickly shattered as apparently monks appeared. Carmen did not call them, rather she called the one they worshiped. It would make sense though that the Shinigami wouldn't appear, hell when it was summoned into this world it would usually take two souls along with it. Right, that thing requires sacrifices. As she spoke her bones would begin to emerge from her body, slowing forming around her in the form of an elegant obsidian armor coupled with a pair of bat wings.

Luckily two sacrifices showed up. She would scream as her wings would light ablaze with black flames. A large smile came across her face, she was already pissy about the cold, and now these two wanted to play with her emotions. Carmen would test how smart the two would be in the afterlife as she burst forward at SS-rank speeds then grab the two men's faces with SS-rank strength. Once grabbed she would slam them both into the ground, then pull upwards ripping their souls from their bodies then putting them into her own. One thing was certain when Carmen fought, that is when people die by her, their souls don't go to the Shinigami, they belong solely to her.

The first and the second were just apparitions, basic clones in actuality of the real priest who was hiding behind one of the altars, he had used them to try and convince the woman to abandon her pursuit of the Shinigami however, the fact that she remained adamant made him preform the hand seals for the Shiki Fuin. Summoning the avatar of the Shinigami into the world. However during this process instead of the Shinigami simply manifesting the priest's soul was instantly devoured and the Shinigami would shrink in size until it was the size of a medium(XL) sized creature. It's thoughts of course was that it could finally confront the insect who had dared try to lay claim on the souls of the living, did they not know that the reasons souls were kept by the Shinigami was to perserve the balance of the living universe. But no, of course not, humans were inherently selfish and they wished to rule the world, and thus what was meant to be his was now being preyed on by another who knew not of the ramifications of what she was doing.

Now manifesting into the physical plane the Avatar of the Shinigami is a translucent gaunt spectre with a demonic visage. It is much larger than an average human, possessing long, shaggy white hair, from which two red horns protrude, and dark greyish blue-coloured skin. It is draped in a large white garments and carries a set of prayer beads. It had it's signature tanto in it's mouth however upon seeing Carmen and placing it in it's left hand before smiling savagely revealing it's numerous sharp teeth before licking it's lips with it's serpentine tongue. It would study her for a single moment before moving its free hand before opening it causing a hundred of dart sized arrows to manifest before all shooting forward convering on Carmens location at Blinding Light Speed. Carmen would die today, "immortality" was a concept, that mortals did not deserve no in actuality have, The Shinigami was the master of death in all its forms and it's Avatar intended on showing her the difference in their power.

Clones eh, Carmen couldn't say that she was more than displeased with the way her time in this temple was going. Due to them being clones, her attempt at gaining two more souls would be for naught, however that is when a striking feeling started to arise, no not striking, it was as if the souls inside her were screaming to be released from her and cross over to the world of the dead. Carmen knew very well what that meant, whoever created these clones, summoned the Shinigami into this world. That was good, it would save Carmen time in hunting every monk down in this temple until she found one which can summon it. But at the same time, with the plans Carmen had for this mighty god, it would be better if it wasn't summoned.

So we finally meet.

It was before her, the Grim Reaper, the God of Death, many titles came to this being who only came to this plane to take the souls of the departed. Something was different though, it seemed it wasn't being tethered by a host? That must have been Carmen's fault, she directly defied the natural order and then went as far as to interfere directly with what the Shinigami did. Adding insult to injury, she further learned how to make use of this power, a power that only souls can provide. All that power was going to be released at the Shinigami in order to cause its destruction. Shame this battle was not being made public, the scale of a battle such as this, is going to be biblical.

Let us have some fun.

Completely serious, normally Carmen had no interest in her opponents, they were pathetic, weak, unable to damage her more or less kill her. This was no time to think about that as this being started with a rain of arrows. No, that is not what she wanted. Taking a step back and flying backwards at S-rank speeds, on her right arm over the black bones which made up her armor, the image of a turquoise serpent would appear. This would allow the arrows to follow behind her, the distance between them remaining unchanged due to their equal speeds. This was only done to prepare, as once the serpent appeared on her arm, she would spin around throwing a punch releasing a power only capable under the conditions which she created. From her arm a large turquoise colored flaming serpent would be released, standing about the size of a Large (L) creature. Heading directly for the arrows, the serpent would be moving at SS-ranks and directly collide with the arrows, creating a massive explosion of raw energy. From the smoke, the serpent would continue towards the Shinigami, attempting not to bite it, but pierce its own body through the Shinigami's body, this would have to be done with the serpent reducing its size to that of a Medium (L) creature, but its power not reducing. Once this serpent would pierce, it would perform a most cruel fate to the mortals, expelling pieces of their souls. In case of this being, who was filled with souls, Carmen would be able to steal more energy while this battle continued.

The Shinigami would smile savagely, as a hundred, no two hundred more arrows would be released from its palm all of them converging onto a single point, the Turquoise Serpent expending each arrow in order to rip through it. It noticed how this blashphemer had realized the gravity of the situation yet...did nothing to show her surprise by it. She apparently did not fear her predicament, understandable It would make her know fear it had nothing to say of course but it would drag this out, in order to not simply kill her rather to break Carmen, physically, emotionally and of course spiritually so that when it came time to claim her wretched soul she would go willingly. It's smile would of course vanish before it would completely vanish it's presence gone as it would move at the speeds inconceivable to most mortals in order to close the distance between it and Carmen.

Echoing Flash was..quite unique in comparison to those speeds which tried to mimic it, in fact, the tiers Samurai had in comparison to the rest all were unique, they had their own use they had their own effects but most didn't seem to realize the difference between them and things that attempted to mimic them. Echoing Flash's effect was speed in essence, speed so fast that the actual movement is never quite seen rather the afterimage of exactly what happened is what one is able to percieve. In this case speed so fast that a simple Heel Kick, the most basic of techniques a samurai could learn is turned into something which could instantly kill someone if hit in a vital area such as the head or chest. Why? Simply due to impact velocity the kick which was typically used to open up defenses, knock back and the like is turned into something which is capable of instantly fracturing every single bone directly hit as well as those immediately around the point of impact.

But was that the true attack, perhaps, perhaps not perhaps it was just an opener trying to see whether or not it would land to follow up with another attack, perhaps it wasn't at all. Or maybe it was just the Avatar of the Shinigami attempting to make sure Carmen wasn't too far away from it not to fall under the effects of it's Bushido something which nerfed a victims defensive tiers by simply coming within radius of a Reaper. Wasn't the Shinigami called the Death God, the Grim...Reaper or was it because it didn't have a Scythe? That of course was easily fixed especially since Death would shift from a simple tanto into a wicked scythe at Echoing Flash Speeds. Though, Carmen should see that in one of the afterimages, assuming she had the capability to detect that after the heel kick the Shinigami had extended it's sword arm after the first attack in an attempt to unleash a strike of Disgrace. Or rather..thanks to the speed at which it was dealt and the fact that the Shinigami's eye's glowed white a Decapitating Strike not seeing Carmen even worth the effort to actually stop after unleashing two strikes.

How many more arrows would be released until the Shinigami would realize combating the serpent with such an attack was futile. However the amount of arrows was becoming more than the serpent could handle. Carmen could not let that happen, the serpent was part of her plan after all. Its power was the one which would allow Carmen to continue her soul usage. Before Carmen could begin to address her ever weakening serpent which finally gave into power of the arrows, another attack would begin. One which came at speeds only most dreamed of, this damn deity, it had some tricks up its sleeves. However Carmen did learn something, through her battles, that speed wasn't enough to win a battle, however speeds as high as Echoing Flash was a different story.

It was to late, this speed was to much, and the kick would land, proceeding to push Carmen back with the entire force of this being's speed. But was that it, no, with Carmen's healing if not all, a majority of the damage would be healed, however the continuing would not be on Carmen's part. Further strikes would be released at Carmen, her body being cut to shreds under the force. Was Carmen to early to attempt waging war on the gods? Or was she still not using all her power to fully combat this god. The latter or the former, which as true, neither was a point to focus on as bringing focus back to Carmen, the wounds inflicted would seem nonexistent. The latter was the truth, Carmen was being cautious of her soul limit, something she never did when making use of either chakra or blood limits. That was her downfall, she was not one to question her limit, she was one to go all out and finish those who dare stand before her off with all of her power.

Strong..I shouldn't have expected anything less. Let us do this battle in my playing field.

The reason for her lack of injuries, further the reason why she was still living after such impacts, was that this world was now under her control. Chakra, physical, mental, natural, it all meant nothing before her now as it would all return to nothing, out of all people the Shinigami would appreciate such a technique, one that brought only death to the world. Her serpent was dead, she liked that thing, her own speed was outmatched, her very existence was being threatened. Carmen had never felt such a thing before, rather than bringing her fear, only excitement rose. She was going to change this world and no deity would stand before, actually just like all other things, they will be burned to nothing in her wake.

Allow me to show you hell. Phoenix Song - Hell's Glory.

A blood curdling screech would echo throughout this area, filling the temple for a couple of seconds before it would end. "The End," that is a nice term for how this would begin. 50ft in diameter, the icy plains would light ablaze under the influence of hellfire. Next, the bones of the dead would begin to emerge, all those souls the Shinigami possessed, the ones of the evil, cruel, and destructive would emerge, gripping all those who are within their reach. Within the diameter, several mountains would raise from the ground, emerging from the flames and slowly making their way to the sky. That would complete the sequence, which would cause the flames to spread to 70ft and a specific number of seven volcanoes which would be completely risen. Once completely risen, the volcanoes would erupt releasing massive amounts of molten lava and flaming rocks onto the temple. As the creation process occurred Carmen would slowly lift off the ground using her wings as she would await the Shinigami, it would have to watch itself. As if it strayed to close to the ground, it would be dragged down into the world, allowing Carmen to end this. The temple would not last long, just like this land, it would become Hell itself.

The Shinigami would simply look around its free hand moving rapidly as a thread would extend from it before wrapping around it to make a circle it would point it downward and the scenery would begin to be inhaled into the gaping hole within the Shinigami's palm. Upon doing such the gaping maw would close and the Shinigami would extending it's finger tips three coffins materializing in front of it comprised of order release it would open it's mouth before pulling out three Souls, one having a hole in the shoulder, one being surrounded by numerous tiny spheres of light and the other being the only female one out of the three, and pressing them into the coffins before blurring away once more all of this occuring at Echoing Flash Speeds. The coffins would solidify seeing as they were all spectral before and would rumble a bit before each coffin would burst open revealing a figure within them.

The Shinigami itself however would take off into the sky moving at Echoing Flash speeds easily breaking the sound barrier and entering the atmosphere, the reasoning of course was to observe the battle. As while it could defeat Carmen on it's own it wanted to draw it out and subject her to the futility of this battle. It would however still be aware of what was going on thanks to the figures within the coffins having ressurected them for the sole purpose of fighting Carmen mainly to cause her to waste energy on them while it watched out of amusement. Back down on the surface however things were just getting interesting as the figures within each of the coffins would regain their old appearances and step out of the coffins at the same time.

The first coffin was jet black comprised of Obsidian and when the figure emerged magma would pour out of the coffin spilling onto the ground and they emerged. They had snow white hair but one could easily see that it was bleached as his roots were a vibrant red and he had piercing yellow eyes. He was clad in the Shijimakage robes but the most identifiable feature on his body were the two scars on his face. One being on the bridge of his nose and the other below his right eye recieved in his battle against the Tetakage the only evidence that he had infact fought against a powerful opponent. He would straighten up his facial expression dour as he knew why he was here and why he had been given another chance to walk among the living, his only goal right now was to kill Carmen. He was Cyrus of the Obsidian Forest, the 5th Shijimakage and Jinchuriki of Son Goku though while the Bijuu itself was no longer present in it's body the capabilities still remained and thus everything he could do while living save for Tailed Cloak Transformations and Full Bijuu Mode was still present.

The second coffin was a metallic grey and the figure within would step out being clad in Gurēkage robes with a tanned complexion and an eye-patch over his left eye. Upon emerging he would look around before smiling happily seeing as he was on a battlefield and he was about to fight a hot chick. It was like heaven, if that existed anyways did it? Maybe maybe not who knew..probably all of the corpses did but that wasn't important at the moment. He was Sangil the Super Pervert, the 5th Gurēkage and he was back with the sole purpose of combating Carmen on behalf of the Avatar of the Shinigami. All of his capabilities remained which was fun as it seemed even in death his hive followed and his skin could be seen rippling as they moved within him.

The third coffin was pure white, like snow and would freeze over before crumbling when the figure stepped out of it. Her fiery red hair contrasting sharply with her pale complexion with a faint blue blush on her cheeks her gaze was impassive as she looked around at the scenery before resigning herself to the fact that she couldn't rest eternally with her love. It was back to the battlefield and she would adjust her Abisukage robes a bit before assuming a fighting position as he was out of her element but was determined to fulfill the role she had been summoned for, namely to destroy Carmen. She was Tayuya of the Tranquil Ocean, the 6th Abisukage and it would seem that she too had retained her capabilities from when she was alive though it remained to be seen how exactly she would work together with two individuals that she had infact been enemies with during her time spent alive.

In the sky Carmen would watch, with her technique active, she knew this battle would take a different dynamic all together. Watching closely, the Shinigami would begin to do something, a thread? Which would turn into a circle then begin to pull this plane into itself. This being had a bag of tricks now didn't it, claiming techniques from multiple races, it probably came from possessing multiple souls. Shame Carmen didn't think of that, it is something she would have to address after this battle, well that is if she made it out alive. The reality which was known now was Carmen's hell, and the Shinigami made a fair attempt at destroying it. But that was the exact point, the reality which now existed was Carmen's Hell, it laid waste to the reality which formally existed turning not only the temple but this land into a fiery plane of death. While Carmen's genjutsus became reality, all others became illusions, this attempt to drag the reality into itself, would be nothing but an illusion, the flames which Carmen created roaring wildly.

What came next caught Carmen's attention. Being an immortal Carmen studied the various types which existed, one in particular which involved stealing a soul from the Shinigami. She did consider learning it but she decided to rob the Shinigami of souls in her own way. Impure World Reincarnation, that was the technique of the Shinigami, that is what Carmen thought. Unlike the last technique, this one would not fade, it would seem the Shinigami was finally using the souls it possessed. It was good but this could become dangerous, as Carmen would have to go against multiple opponents. Actually maybe it wasn't that bad considering this hell she created would continue to brew on. Thus unless these new beings were capable of flight, they would just be dragged down into the depths of hell.

Now who were the ones to arrive, three blasts from the past. None of which looked familiar to Carmen, which she was actually happy about. Bringing people back to life, the Shinigami could have called back Carmen's grandmother or worse, her great grandfather. Though knowing them, they probably would not have taken being brought back to life to kindly and would have struck out at the Shinigami. Taking a closer look, all these beings possessed kage robes, which would have her begin to laugh. She recolonized one specifically which the former Kage of Shigakure would be embarrassed that his village was taken over by Carmen. It wouldn't be his fault directly but his village must have had some weak shinobi to just allow her to do so.

So this is what your doing? Bringing in relics to do your dirty work. Shame that they returned from death just to enter Hell itself.

The Shinigami would notice how it's technique didn't work, apparently this self proclaimed immortal had dared to utilize Souls in it's technique, of course when faced with the Shinigami the one true weilder of mortal souls Carmen simply did not understand what she was getting into. The Shinigami would utilize the attack once more this time however spending a soul price in addition to the actual price in order to suck away the landscape. It would follow up by making a co-ordinate zone in order to restore said landscape to it's original condition it's temple being spotless once again. Only then would the coffins open the Shinigami having withheld their entrance due to the set back, namely the world being warped.

It would then fall back watching of course ready to intervene if Carmen tried to alter reality once more as it had more than enough souls to outlast her. She would fight the summoned souls the way the Shinigami wanted her to, or it would turn into a war of attriution which she could not phathom winning. It was something to be humored, if the Shinigami even had a sense of humor or maybe it did seeing as it was essentially forcing Carmen to play with it's toys for it's amusement a loss meaning her death her victory meaning a chance to get to fight it for real. Of course nothing was said it was only inferred but it didn't like to utilize the Souls in it's body for no reason to think a former mortal would actually force it to do such it was...amusing.

Awakening in a temple was not how Sangil thought his afterlife was going to be, no not at all honestly the past century and a half was quite fun, sure he died like a horse who had outlived it's purpose and was killed along with the few members of his family who couldn't escape but he had seen each and everyone of them again. Thankfully there was no Heaven or Hell everyone just ended up in the same place and if you didn't like someone you had the option of just not interacting with them or seeing them and vice versa, the wonders of life and death. Hmm well I guess I got to kill this guy, oh hey it's you guys. Hey Cy what's up no hard feelings about trying to take over your village right? Oh and you, Tayuya if I had known you were this beautiful in person.. well lets just say I would of made more of an effort to find exactly where you disappeared to during the war. Sangil said with a large smile having not found this situation to be all that serious, maybe it was because he wasn't really serious unless he had to be even during the war he was usually rotating between wives while Teresa berated him on leading the war effort.

He would fall to the ground just a bit before his Green ants would converge and make a barrier which he would stand on moving into a crouch as he observed his opponent. This Carmen was powerful, his ants could agree so what exactly was the method of combat to be done. Hmm this time maybe he'll go about this more stealthy perhaps and would make hand seals as the platform he was standing on would vanish along with his body. He would move to a new platform made by his now invisible green ants wondering if his opponent was capable of sensory techniques, and if she was exactly how good was she at sensing people perhaps she could unlike most...actually detect him. Or not it would just make this much easier for him. Let the games begin.

The three people who appeared were nothing but relics before Carmen, however they were still souls, souls which could be taken from their bodies and given to Carmen. That might be enough to tip this battle back in Carmen's favor, well not really, that would be saying that Carmen lost control. Actually even though her world was taken from her, it was actually for the worse. The reasoning, while she was able to make her illusions real, she wasn't able to use the enhancements she made along with them. Now that the the world was gone, she would use everything she created, that world was a cripple rather than a blessing.

Phoenix Song..

As she spoke one of the people would have disappeared, a hidden shinobi, that was an inconvenience. But if she couldn't see them, they could hear her, and that was all she needed. Now it was time to test their resistance to genjutsu, then break through it. Releasing the screech, this is something Carmen should have done when she made the illusions real. To think that she actually cared if the planet existed, no wonder really, she can't rule over what isn't there after all. But keeping it an illusion was more than enough as the sun started to inch its way closer to the world, moving closer at Blinding Light speeds. To Carmen, no to all, the sun was going to crash against this world and turn it into nothing. She should have used this when turning illusions real, however that is the thing. Was this illusion real or not, the sun was still off in the distance, not colliding with the earth until 2 posts later.

Sun's Impact.

Once that was done, she would turn her attention to the three, no two, since one could turn invisible. Dive bombing from the sky at A-rank speeds, she would attack the male, grabbing his head as she stopped and ripping out his soul, then putting it into herself. Now came the kicker, she would not let the body go unused, it was valuable since the Shinigami decided to bring this person back. After ripping out the soul, Carmen would press her hand against the body then seal it away. Since the body was still the person's, Cyrus', even though the soul was ripped out the body should retain all of his abilities and the luxury of being summoned by the Reincarnation technique. The Undead Army was about to arise, let us call this Carmen's make shift Reincarnation, basically Carmen was testing if the Shinigami could take down its own Reincarnation, however she had two left to claim, as she stood in the position Cyrus once did.

Cyrus stepped from his coffin and inspected his new body, holding a pale white hand out in front of himself. How...odd. He muttered to himself before hearing an all too familiar voice. He turned towards the location of the voice and frowned, Sangil Shinto, of course. Cyrus had been enjoying the after life, of course it was only when he was brought back to the land of the living that he found himself in hell. Sangil Shinto, truly a pleasure to see you again, in the 'I could've spent all of eternity not laying my eyes on you' kind of way. Cyrus's frown grew more intense as Sangil simply vanished. Cyrus didn't even bother trying to locate him, he wasn't a tracker and Sangil was possibly the greatest illusionist the world had ever seen. Besides, Sangil, for once wasn't Cyrus's target.

I'm not sure why the Shinigami chose us, but the faster we deal with you the faster I can go back so let's get this over with. He said to Carmen as the woman released a blood curdling scream and dropped towards Cyrus at rather impressive speeds. However, as impressive as her speeds were, Cyrus had been a Kage and he wasn't in the mood to play around. Carmen would find herself simply swinging at air as Cyrus appeared about 20 feet away behind her. However, he now had a miniature volcano extending from his back. Boiling magma dripped from the top, dropping to the floor and burning through like an acid eating away at the stone. He wasn't worried about harming his allies as they were just like him, undead. They would simply regenerate and live to fight again until the Shinigami no longer needed its puppets. Cyrus breathed in deeply before punching the ground beneath him. Seconds later the ground around him in a 50 foot radius would erupt in a massive pillar of magma. Swallowing anyone and anything foolish enough to be caught in its path at echoing flash speeds.

Filling in. Tayuya reporting for deceased duty. Our somewhat young and beautiful kage of the village once known as Dipugakure took her few steps out from the coffin, immediately darting off to the right hand side in order to move away from any immediate danger and assess the confusing situation. She'd let out a short sigh, a trait subconsciously picked up from her former husband upon realization of what she appears to have been dragged into. [i]Why did it have to be these two. They were suppose to form a battle team...unlikely, Cyrus just unleashed a bomb without so much as a glance. "After our standings in war, I don't believe your efforts in finding me would have been appreciated, Sangil Shinto." Death was pleasant, this however was nothing but a terrible dream. Obviously, it would be a bit distorting to awaken after who knows how many years, only to find the world had become masses of single units who dared challenge gods.

With one invisible, the foe attempting its move and the disgusting Shigakure kage doing his little show pony crap, Tayuya had time to remove her bracelet, the air instantly cooling down, though still no hindering his lava flames. With a deep exhale she'd drop to a readied position, wishing to observe before making any serious moves. Now as for this sun, the air was cooling around them, that in turn with the incoming sun, plus the roof over the head from the untouched temple (which may have just been destroyed by a certain someone) made realizing the genjutsu, if one were to be caught within it, unnoticeable at this point in time. As such, there was no action to be taking in that consideration at this current point in time. I don't wanna go rushing in like a crazy person, and neither do any of the others obviously, but if they were to succeed, perhaps they'd best begin their combinations coming next turn. For now the effectiveness of the Lava crater will determine the level required.

Sangil would smirk at his allies comments before realizing something and smacking his forehead, they were immortal undead zombies with unlimited chakra, blood and regen how silly of him, time to promptly rectify such a mistake. Mode Activate:FuryHazeSupersonicDrain Sangil said with four of his princesses all chiming in as they jointly activated their Chimera Ant Princess Modes, after all seeing that apparently there was a sun of some sort dropping on them it was either go big or go home, and he wanted to grope Carmen at least once or twice before he went back to sweet sweet Tessa-hime. He would follow up suit unlocking the first to seventh gate before blue ants would appear in his hands with Sangil compacting them into a ball and when Carmen began to scream would promptly throw a fastball special moving at echoing flash speeds into her open mouth, which thanks to hidden touch was also invisible. If they hit the target the ants would revolve like a blade and slice her pretty face up, while some that entered her mouth would go splat, like insects do when they hit something at terminal velocity but see, these were special ants which liked to be in liquid form and could do all sorts of fun things. He would then repeat the baseball process with Cyrus and Tayuya however using Red Ants spitting out two balls in quick succession into his right and left hand before throwing them at the same time aimed at their kidney's they only needed one kidney anyways, besides they were immortal. It'll hurt like a bitch though.So true dear sister.

However stuffing her mouth was only one way to shut a bitch up, sure he liked to stuff their mouths with his **** but he'd settle for ants for now and get to the fun stuff later. You disgust me. Its! Your welcome. Sangil though to himself before casting the follow up causing Cyrus, Tayuya, Carmen and well himself to all go deaf. Hefty blood price of course but that was why it was good to be immortal.

Regardless of if it successful, Sangil would leap upward before making a new platform for himself about fifty feet in the air, so when Cyrus decided to go kaboom and rain fire and brimstone from below he was the one person with an umbrella. In the part of the state it wasn't raining at of course, he would scan the area to see exactly what the lovely Tayuya was doing and if she was clear of the danger he would rush over at echoing flash speeds and promptly attempt to grope her fine fine ass. Sangil now isn't the time to be perving.*Gasp* You of all princesses know there is never a time to not be a pervet.

Three souls entered this world, ones which should have perished with time ages ago. But naturally the Shinigami would play god and bring them back, just to fight her. Three people, Carmen currently had 4 hearts and the first one was nowhere near being exhausted. If that damn Shinigami wanted to play this game that way then Carmen would lay claim to these souls then use them to bring the Shinigami to its knees. First she during her screech, something would apparently fly into her mouth, no surprise that Sangil enjoyed shooting things into a woman's mouth. However Carmen was not on to damage her body, that included her face, thus when the blades ripped up her face, it would only heal to its original perfectly beautiful appearance. Now as for the bugs that entered her system, they would burn, everything that entered her body that was foreign would burn. Inside her body, it might take time but the bugs would begin to slowly set ablaze, one by one until their would be nothing left, this would also include the juices which the bugs turned into.

That was Carmen's body reacting normally, her body acting on her own was her charging towards Cyrus which resulted in her miss. Shame as apparently the next thing to happen would be the ground breaking apart, similar to what occurs when a volcano erupts. Seemed this one was a tailed beast in a past life. A thought came, Carmen should go hunt one of those things down, their power might not have been equal to a deity but it would weaken the other superpowers. That was going off topic, Carmen knew one thing that the only person in existence to wield souls other than the Shinigami was Carmen, then doing this again would be the best choice.

They couldn't hear, didn't matter, as when the eruption occurred and engulfed Carmen, flames would follow. Her flames which rendered the lava useless. It was like a pulse released from the world itself returned to Carmen's Hell. The plains roared with fire, the dead rose from the ground, attempting to latch onto anyone they could get their hands on, moving at Blinding Light speeds. Volcanoes rose, erupting one by one under Carmen's command for them to enter this plane. And that was it, this world simply burned under the influence of Carmen, and even though these puppets were basically immortal, they were not above the wrath of Hell itself. An invisible force, Sangil, a frozen mistress, Tayuya, and a magma born, Cyrus, now they all meant nothing and they would know the difference between the past and the present, their power was obsolete.

Cyrus dropped to the ground as pain shot up his spine, he coughed out blood but stood up once again. The pain and damage to his organ already returning back to normal, What the hel- He began to say before noticing that the sun, which had originally been closing in on the temple and about to impact the entire freaking planet...was back where it was supposed to be. That was...odd. A genjutsu then, should've known. I guess sometimes I really miss that giant monkey. Cyrus thought to himself. When he was alive he would have never fallen for such a petty trick, not when Son Goku had his back. Cyrus looked around at his lava hell, the world exploding all around him and yet...he heard nothing. It was silent, as if he was watching a very old film.

He watched the girl, their target, open her mouth to scream once again, but he heard nothing. He looked over at Tayuya, her mouth was moving but nothing came out. An odd trick indeed. Cyrus said aloud, wondering if any of them would hear him. The girl, Carmen, was simply standing just outside of the erupting pillars of lava that surrounded Cyrus. She seemed to be waiting for something to happen. Cyrus looked up to the gaping hole in the ceiling before concentrating lightning chakra into the palm of his hand and launching it into the air. It shot through the hole in the ceiling and into the sky above. Outside the winds would begin to swirl and cumulonimbus clouds would begin to generate, seemingly out of nowhere.

The pain was unexpected to a degree, causing the brave young woman to falter over for a moment before steadily regaining her kage-like composure, her eyes no doubt displaying her annoyance of the situation, more so when she Sangil decided to amuse himself at the discomfort of others. Fucking Pervert. Of course, exposure to her body was of course a dangerous act indeed, with frozen touch and all that junk. Regardless, she'd swipe at her back, speaking her mind but only for the words to fall on empty ears. "Even in death your a pain in the ass." Muted, Deaf, in no way was this an effective means of teamwork foundation, however they were hardly a productive team, all seeming to do their own thing. Nether the less, I can build onto this If i must. With Cyrus making his little storm clouds, which would combine with the snowstorm clouds which are already starting to settle into place, it would effectively speed up the process to a degree. Without further a due, I give snow, only a light fall at this point though.

The genjutsu's don't appear to be working, with the sound issue, so props to Sangil on that one, but he still doesn't have the right to touch my wif...me? Anyway, yeah, with the snowfall, Tayuya had already made her move, putting a nice time limit on this game which, even if it can't kill, it will at the very least put an end to any considerations. Plus an added glass dome where the snow will continue to fall through as they are a Toketsu technique, with the only gap being where Cyrus was doing his little thing. That glass dome however, only being used as a visual cover so that Carmen couldn't possibly see the Castle being formed around the temple which would freeze her up immediately, with all hope anyway. Of course, people may this this is easy counteracted with heating techniques, but if you pool all of the temperature manipulations together, it doesn't sit as an easy task.

Sangil would only smile as she was talking but he was hearing nothing at all, either way that wasn't important what was important was the Carmen was about to do something again, but thankfully he was able to pull off his deafening technique on her and as she rushed towards Cyrus almost got engulfed in Lava he would instead run through another set of hand seals using the mental connection from her being hit by his ants to trigger a second genjutsu his favorite actually, Bringer of Darkness and using Haki to lock it in place so she couldn't dispel it through Kai. With that Sangil would leap upwards at echoing flash speeds before stepping on platforms of his ants five times in rapid succession until he was high enough to escape whatever sort of dome Tayuya was attempting to make was occurring the ants from the platforms he made returning to his body when he leaped off of them out of what used to be a roof top. He was confused however by Carmen's actions whether it was a genjutsu trigger he was missing or not she was doing something, though Tayuya and Cyrus were likewise doing things as well.

He would watch as the clouds be set up in addition to the dome of ice and would promptly crouch to overlook the entire area, though it was getting cold and thus he would rub his arms to warm up a bit. Unfortunately he didn't have his trusty Crimson Mode activated which he figured he should. Then again it wasn't like he could die from hypothermia or anything like that so he was fine. He would rip off a piece of his clothing before using the transformation technique to turn it into a sword identical to basilisk, obviously it wasn't basilisk and couldn't cut like it but that wasn't the point, he needed a sword for his techniques and damn it he'd make one. He would then coat the "sword" with green ants which would promptly vibrate in order to give it additional durability and cutting power so it didn't end up turning back into a normal piece of cloth with a single hit.

Cute, the difference between them must have really been there. But this was probably due to Carmen's abuse of genjutsu to alter their way of thinking which brought this about. She should stick with that as a tactic in future battles, even though when activating Tamoanchan it was already extremely difficult to tell the difference other than the obvious damage which was being done to those within it the new plane of reality. What occurred in this new reality, was Hell, that was all which truly existed. What no longer existed, was everything else brought into this plane of existence.

That would include the clouds which Cyrus was now creating. While they would be seen, they were nothing but mere illusions, thus rendering everything the clouds would do, nothing but mere illusions. Following would be Tayuya, first, Carmen really needed to kill her, she hated the cold and a Toketsu being before her simply had to die, that was all there was to it. As for the icy prison which was essentially being created, again it was seen but not felt as it was rendered an illusion as well. Same with Sangil, his attempt at a genjutsu would prove, well it was just an illusion to begin with, so it was an illusion illusion, if that was a thing, hell its a thing now.

Shame, you all should have run.

Now for the explanation, Tamoanchan was Carmen's version of warping the reality of the world through the usage of her power, granted from the Underworld. It should be noted that Carmen literally changes this world's reality when it is activated and the singing of her Song was only a trigger to change reality. Since the Songs become the new reality they act as a trigger for the change, no longer the same as a genjutsu which requires one to fall prey to the trigger, no, when Carmen released the screech the world without a doubt changed for all, regardless if they were capable of hearing the Song or not. To put this in a better way, if a random person was to walk into this battle, this particular area would be Hell's Glory, the prior Temple's environment would no longer exist because now it doesn't exist.

Back to the good stuff, while Sangil decided to leave the ground the damage to him from the flames would not occur. But we had two who decided to stay on the ground. Beginning with Cyrus who didn't move, rather attempted to execute an attack, would be grabbed by the dead who would begin to drag him into the ground, where Carmen could easily prey upon his soul. Next would be Tayuya, the same would happen. From the ground, the dead would rise, latching onto her and beginning to pull her into the ground. Last would be Sangil, who was in the air, it was time to see how well he could fly. With the volcanoes risen they would erupt, releasing lava to engulf the area and molten rock which rained down onto this world. These former kage have entered a new world, a stronger world, the future was here and its name was Carmen.

Let us end this.

The Toketsu would begone first. Regardless if the dead held onto her or not, Carmen would lift off the ground then charge her way towards Tayuya at SS-rank speeds. Her palm opened, latched onto Tayuya's face then with a pull back, Carmen would rip out her soul then shove it into her own body. That would be the Toketsu, next for the former bijuu holder. The yonbi huh, Carmen might have to go hunt that specific bijuu down itself, its power over magma was quite impressive. If that power was brought under Carmen then she could have a lot more fun with the world, to the point of bringing a couple of calamities into this world.

Well, now that I have a proper grasp of this situation, i've come to realise how much I dislike Carmen and her techniques, as this has become an impossibility. Seems like this will be a game of cat and mouse for the most part until we get a bit of divine intervention from the soul scraper known as the Shinigami himself. From my understanding...we are in hell, there are arms and legs reaching up and grabing hold of me, dragging me down I believe, while Carmen rushes towards Tayuya at SS-Ranked speed to plunge my soul into her grasp. There is also erupting volcanoes and lava forming everywhere and everything I can possibly do is nothing more then an illusion. If I've missed something, just act as though I didn't see it and autohit, but I think I have everything I need to know. Now here is where my subtle details can play at least some part in my glorious escape from the ground floor of hell, as well as avoiding being put in a soul prison.

Even if they are considered Illusions, the cold should still effect Carmen without actually dealing damage to her body, more or less still inducing a mental level of bodily freezing...Just something to think about, though you may have dealt with the multiple freezing layers of techniques somewhere along the lines, I can't remember the post already. In any case, the first thing Tayuya did once been revived was move to distance herself from the main battle as much as the location would allow, so the distance between Carmen and Tayuya is somewhat in existence, though not as large as the original length as she moved closer to Kenji. What we do know is it is at least a minimum of 15 meters due to avoiding his technique. Now taking into consideration the concept of acceleration as there is no indication of an instant max speed tech, as well as that distance, Tayuya had at least a micro chance of laying down a defense, or rather an avoiding maneuver.

With the explanation out of the way, Tayuya would use the brief time she had to transform her own body into organic ice, using her ice control thingy to shatter herself and spread out at her natural speed which is Blinding light. Although Carmen is faster, taking into considering wind resistance/pressure whatever its called, Tayuya's small frost shard body which isn't capable of escaping fast enough would use the pressure as a result of her incredible speed, to whoosh around and continue moving on its merry way, like catching a speck of dirt in the bath tub, only you can't scope either. Her body would reform must like Sagnil, above all the shit going on to avoid melting away. Honestly a tornado might form with all this contrasting temperature currents around here, that would be fun. Wait, wouldn't their techniques deal mental damage instead then? Perhaps the best bet would be to do so much damage, that Carmen will go mental and transform into a potato. haha, that'd be cool. Oh and for future reference, Tayuya is holding up her body using small ice shards from the storm, giving the appearance of floating.

Oh and I just noticed the raining Lava, and all that other crap, which is why i will be adding in another paragraph for all that crap. Now, with all put together, they appear to deal SS-Rank damage when dragged into the ground, but As Tayuya has her endurance, she'd still be capable of functioning despite the pain, allowing her counter to take place. With the cold temperature effects used in combination with her frozen self, her body would be capable of taking the heat without melting, making everything else possible. The raining lava by itself would only deal A-Rank damage, but in small sums so broken up. Endurance and her body alone could withstand that with no problems, but for the sake of not having to cringe for nothing, Young Tayuya would use her own icy rain drops to cancel them out at the cost of shortening her available ammunition, ideally protecting Sagnil and Cyrus as well for whatever reason. As mentioned before Cyro ice is treated as S-Rank, so its all possible. I think?

It would seem his original method of utilizing a genjutsu on her had failed as a result he would be unable to provide the support route like he wished, it was...a pity. Either way it was time to fight, and thus he couldn't afford to hold back and longer. His green ants would crawl all over his body and would enshroud him before vibrating as he mimicked his fathers trademark technique Green Ant: Sound Release Armor. He would look up seeing that there was magma falling down from above and would easily dodge them by jumping to the sides and stepping on platforms formed by his green ants all the while remaining invisible to Carmen's detection. He would hop skip away and notice that Tayuya was doing her own thing to avoid being bbq'd kudos to her it seemed that Carmen was after her more than anyone else well it was time for Sangil to run interference then. Oxygenate. the Blue Princess said further bolstering her hives capabilities it was now all out offense no more fucking around.

Sangil would rush slowing down to Ripping Discord straight at Carmen using the interval where Tayuya was escaping from Carmen's grasp to shift out of the way of the attempt at grabbing to knee Carmen in the chest. Of course she'd feel the impact and it would just be an illusion but for a brief instance Carmen wouldn't be able to realize that she had infact been struck simply because Sangil was undetectable by her and it was occurring at extremely high speeds. So while it didn't do any damage it would knock her flying at blinding light speeds with Sangil leaping off the platform stood on stepping on another to forcibly alter his trajectory when he past Carmen to deliver an ax-kick at Echoing Flash speeds which would form a Dragon exhaling a fireball depicting exactly how powerful the displacement of air from the attack was. Of course due to the nature of echoing flash the dragon effect was actually slower than the actual attack meaning the attack would hit before the dragon full finished materializing to exhale the "fireball". Likewise due to Carmen's effect it would still do "no damage" after all everything is an illusion apparently but it didn't mean Sangil couldn't knock Carmen around before she was able to register something affecting her. as a result Sangil was banking on that he would hit her before she herself realized she was hit and thus before the technique could turn reality into not reality she would be struck and it was only upon her realization of her being struck that the damage itself would be nullified due to it being an illusion thus resulting in her body being liquefied in one instance only to return to normal another instance.

Of course after the strike Sangil would back up not wanting to press his luck as repeated assaults was just setting himself up to get countered but for now, he would run interference and lock Carmen up as she was too low, and to not perceptive to even detect Sangil's attacks before they landed. As a result all Carmen could do was get slapped around thus allowing her actions in itself to be limited for the brief amount of time while Sangil was excecuting his attack sequence. Sure it wasn't a lot of time but it would be enough to by time for Tayuya, not to mention fulfill a sense of entertainment for Sangil himself.

That damn Toketsu, shattering herself then using the wind pressure from Carmen's run to "blow" herself away. It was actually a quite damn impressive maneuver, but Carmen hated the Toketsu so this only served to anger her. And what happened next, it was like something hit her, not just a normal blow either, it had some power behind it. Enough to blow Carmen away, then following that one blow was another one. An invisible force assaulting Carmen, which the axe-kick, unknown to Carmen, would send her flying into the ground. Now Carmen was getting mad, if this technique wasn't in play her bones would be broken, no, her body would be broken. This invisible force needed to be destroyed, the Toketsu would have to wait till later unless she foolishly got in the way.

It was time for a calamity shift. While Hell was in play, it wasn't an absolute "attack." There were still ways to completely avoid the damage, the most notable being floating or flying above the flames and out of the way of the falling flames. So it was time to erase that, Carmen needed to bring something into this world which couldn't be avoided by simply lifting off the ground. The time has come to truly burn, within the flames of Hell, Carmen "rested," her eyes closed as she enveloped herself in the flames sh created. The time has come to return to her original power, the line which gave rise to her Songs. Now this damn invisible force would have no place to go as Carmen's eyes shot open and she released another Song.

Fall.

She spoke afterword as the fire calmed, the dead returned to their own realm, and the volcanoes sunk into the ground. What would all this be replaced by, first a nest, a bird's nest, a phoenix nest to be specific. That fire calmed didn't remain for long, as it returned from the nest enveloping all those within it. This nest shared the same weakness as the flames of hell, one could float over them to avoid their grasp. But Carmen knew that as she stood up in the flames, the flames following the lead of their creator and shooting upward into the air in the form of a column of fire, completely engulfing all those within, damaging them slowly. But that wasn't it, Carmen was ensuring that all within would fell her wrath. Raining down into the now coiling flames, would be "meteors" to completely barrage all those within. Their speed was a little slow for this battle, but their numbers would continue until their time was up, thousands of meteors would rain down upon these few crushing their bodies. It would be in vain as essentially all their bodies could "regenerate," but it would give Carmen her time to attack all those brought back into this world, as some would be to busy dodging the "meteors."

Okay, so it seems we have a B-Rank's worth of fire shooting up at Crashing grounds from the ground ironically and we also seem to have lots of meteors raining from the sky at Blinding Light to deal A-Rank damage. How interesting, but she must be seriously underestimating the power of the wartime kages. Tayuya's ice itself was already considered enough to tank the damage, however collectively, it would shorten her number once more, not to mention this heat it melting it away. Fortunately Carmen didn't destroy the ice castle, nor dismiss the snowflakes and the mirrors, so the temperature boosts from all those collectively will be capable of withstanding once more. How jolly. The snow would pick up to a light blizzard, all the falling ice collecting to create a coned roof which would defend against the meteors as they'd drift off the side unable to break through. You might be considering using the piercing speed to increase their ability to break my defense, but don't forget meteors come from above the clouds, and hence must pass through those clouds, which are generating large sums of ice which would slow them down. (Noticed them with Heat Sensory from above).

Now for the bottom fire which is rising...Maybe I should just take that, but Toketsu's don't like heat, so it'd be very endearing. Oh, and Tayuya would be suprised to see the invisible attacks on Carmen, feeling slightly relieved that Sagnil still seemed to be around here, as Cyrus appears to have either died or dipped. Anyway, back to the fire pillar. Tayuya's idea to counter the scary flames is to simply blow on it. Only her blowing skills are top notch thanks to Colado as he taught her the technique, but long story short, a frozen glaze would mist itself down to counteract the flames. Here's to hoping our techniques can at least effect Carmen's, if not, and Tay notices one getting through, she'll just like...Body replace with one of the upper meteors so she can avoid majority of the damage. That should be a sufficient escape.
