Ka's Training

It seemed like yet another boring day in the domed village under the ocean for Ka Jiko, except for the fact that he was way beyond restless at six in the morning. He needed to do something to cure his boredom yet alas there was no one in the village that could help him alleviate him at the moment. So he decided that he would go to the training grounds and get some training done, because of course he couldn't produce an elemental affinity, that would mean he would have to come up with a pure chakra jutsu. You see the thing is he really had no clue on how to do such a thing, but Ka wouldn't let a silly thing such as being elementless slow him down from becoming the strongest in the village, or possibly the world. So he started to make his way towards the training dome of the village in order to train, but what? He still didn't know. It took him around ten minutes to get to the grounds after getting lost a couple times. Since the forced move from his first home, he still didn't know his way completely around the village. It truly was an inconvenience at time, but in order to keep this pseudo peace amongst the villages it had to be done. He just didn't really understand as to why the clans had to stay in one village, why couldn't they roam the world and show the world that they shouldn't be hoarded or controlled by a single person. Once he arrived at the training grounds, Ka could see several children running around playing games, made him chuckle a bit at their innocence. In probably less then a year they would be thrown into the academy on the west continent, and if they were lucky become a ninja. Then again they could go the civilian route, one he almost wished he'd taken years ago. He was about to go and do his own thing when he noticed one of the kids produce a jutsu that resembled a ball of flame showing off most likely, which gave him an idea. What if he could form a ball of chakra for a similar affect, could prove to be very useful. So moved himself away from the children playing in order to keep them safe from his training, well that and he didn't want them distracting him from his training. With the idea of a jutsu in his head, Ka walked to a secluded area and sat down in a shaded spot. Meditation was always a good chakra training for him, helped him mold his chakra when he was a mere academy student, helped him pass the exams. But ever since then he had always focused more on developing his body. So after a few moments of meditation, the jiko felt that he had collected enough chakra that he could preform the jutsu currently invading his mind. So he placed his hand out in front of him and started to attempt to form his chakra to his palm, only to see his hand glowing from the chakra placed there. However he felt as though the chakra was too wide spread to do what he wanted, he had to find a way to pinpoint that energy. Then a crazy idea struck his mind and a grin came across his face, suddenly his free hand reached for a kunai and etched a spiral into his palm. Being a cypher allowed him to do such things without hesitation, which proved to be more then useful in his past. With an outline of what do do, Ka began to mold his chakra around his palm yet again. This time he could see his chakra forming above his hand, hardly taking shape just yet, but it was progress none the less. Now all he had to do was try and shape the chakra then increase the chakra flow within it, easier said then done I suppose. Almost instinctively Ka dropped the kunai and placed his free hand over his chakra blob, trying to shape it, however the chakra was rather uncooperative at the moment. And after several attempts of shaping the chakra, Ka was getting irritated and slammed his hands together with the chakra being held inside of them. He could feel the power in his hands, it didn't quite feel strong enough to his liking just yet. So he closed his eyes and began to flow chakra from both palms into the chakra already being held in there. It seemed to be moving in every which direction and it was almost like it was looking for a way out of his hands. He was happy to oblige, and pulled his hands apart. Much to his pleasure, the Jiko could see the ball of constantly moving chakra sitting in his palm. Now a new problem had arisen, what to do with this chakra ball now sitting in his hand. He knew he had to get ride of it fast, but he had to make sure no one else would be hurt by him. Without even thinking, he got up with it in his palm and ran towards a set of training dummies, thrusting the ball into the body of one. The chakra ball exploded on the dummies sending dust and debris in every direction. Okay obviously some tweaks were needed before he could use this jutsu in public.

Description: The Rasengan does not require any hand seals to use, relying only on the chakra control of the user. Once it is complete, it becomes self-sustaining, which does not give the Rasengan a definite limit like the Chidori. The compacted nature and moving speed of the chakra allows the Rasengan to grind into whatever it comes in contact with to inflict major damage. This tends to launch the target backward after being hit or, if the target is lying on the ground or being launched to the ground, the destructive force is enough to form a crater. When it slams into an opponent it has the added ability to knock them flying however when pressed against a solid structure preventing the knock back effect this technique can grind through S-rank defensive structures with ease.

Ka was again feeling restless in the village deep within the sea, even though he had recently received a strange egg that he was to keep on him he had no idea what to do with it. So he carried it around in his sling back pack and decided to go do some personal training, well actually it was more or less an improvement of a jutsu he learned back in the academy. The bushin jutsu definatly had it's advantages, but they were only a subtle distraction, couldn't do any damage to opponents. However he knew there was a way to force chakra into them to make them more.... Tangible shall we say, this could prove to be very useful in Ka's goals in protecting this village and it's interests. He may have moved to the village recently due to the daimyo's orders, but his goals to change the world for the better mattered not for where he resides. That only changed the origin point. So as he made his way towards the training grounds, his mind was racing on ways it could be done. He only heard stories from a couple drunks in an alley about the jutsu, but the idea had stuck in his mind since then. So after finally arriving that the training dome Ka found himself a secluded spot and figured the best way to get this jutsu was to start with the basics. He did a set of hand seals and two bushin's appeared in front of him, so he reach out and touched the one only to see it disperse at his touch. A frown came across his face, don't know why? He knew what exactly would happen when he tried. So then he looked over at the second and watched his copy draw a kunai and lunge at him. He really didn't need to evade the blow, but it was just instinct that made him move out of the way of the false weapon. This drove the clone to continue it's assault, only allowing him to dodge. He really didn't mind, it gave him a chance to try and understand the jutsu itself. The clone seemed only capable of his physical attack even though they would work if they landed, maybe putting more chakra into them would work. The real question was how much of his chakra would be needed to simple allow it's attacks to do some damage. After a few minutes of evasion, Ka grew tired of the clone and when it thrust the blade towards him, Ka simply drove his own blade into the clones right eye. Don't really know why he would choose that spot, it just felt right. So after the clone dispersed into a cloud of smoke, he made the same set of hand seals this time pumping more chakra into them only to see four clone to appear this time. This confirmed that it wasn't just the chakra output in the jutsu, it was a completely different jutsu, which meant it would be a whole new set of seals to preform. Well maybe not completely different, probably had some of the same seals in it just in a different sequence thats all. So he dispersed the clone and reattempted the jutsu mixing up the order of the hand seals, this time seeing nothing. No clones, no cloud of smoke, nothing, so it meant it wasn't mixing the seals around. Oh this is going to be a pain He thought to himself, knowing it was just going to get more complex from here. So over the next hour and a half Ka had tried hundreds of combinations of hand seals and had come up with nothing each time. This was starting to infuriate him a bit, all this time and no results. He was about to give up when another memory came to mind. Something he learned way back in the academy, hearing about how some complex jutsu's used a combination of multiple hand seals in one seal itself. Maybe that was it? Maybe not. So he went over to a tree and sat down underneath it, no reason to remain standing until he had everything figured out. Once sitting down, he reached into his bag and pulled out his ninja hand book and opened the page revealing hand seals, instantly trying to come up with a combination seal that would help him master this damned jutsu already. Then something hit him, there has been one thing that happened almost every time he trained a new technique, his anger had gotten the better of him almost each time. Yet each time that happened he seemed to finally master, why did it have to be like that. Then again that could come to his advantage in the future, lets hope so. After another forty five minutes and more then half of his chakra depleted he felt that he may have finally come up with the right combination, so he stood up and made the hand seal and forced his chakra into the seal. Suddenly he was surrounded by a cloud of smoke and an exact copy of himself smiling at him before hey both collapsed on the ground. That was exhausting, lets just hope he remembers the seal, it would be a pain in the ass to do that all over again.

After just getting back to the village from a bounty mission, Ka was feeling restless, like he could have done more in the mission. So he decided that he would get some training done, he had to get better if he was to change the world. So once out of the hospital, he tightened all of his gear and crouched down to a staring position. He knew with his anatomy that he wouldn't be able to become physically stronger, but maybe he could be faster, much faster. He watched as a leaf started falling on the ground, eyes completely focused on it. It seemed like an eternity as it dropped, the anticipation was killing him, he couldn't wait to start.

Then it the leaf finally touched the ground, and with all his might pushed off with his lead foot in order to launch himself from his position, and down the street. He wasn't all that fast to start with, non ninja could probably keep up with him if they tried. A small dust trail started to form behind his foot steps, yet as he moved through the streets, the world seemed to slow down a bit. Odd. Not really paying attention it at the moment, he was more or less focused on weaving between villagers in order not to run into anyone. After some quick maneuvering, Ka had decided it was time for him to get a little bit more altitude, and more obsticles. So he jumped up onto a wall and ran up it until he reached the roof, thats when he made a set of hand seals and two shadow clones had appeared in front of him before disappearing in the distance. He had set them off in various locations in order to test his speed and reflexes as he ran.

With the shadow clones set for their duty, Ka crouched down yet again and looked around. More then three dozen roof tops between him and from what he could tell was his first clone in the distance. With his path set in mind, Ka launched himself off the roof with a twinge in his legs. Wasn't really something he was expecting, but it soon subsided as he jumped over the first gap. However that twinge in his leg was able to impose on his balance at bit, which caused him to clip his toes on the edge of the roof. That made him lose his balance, and fall face first on the roof. It was good that his body was unable to feel pain, or else he would be cursing up a storm. So he stood up and brushed himself off from any dirt, and took off yet again. The next couple of roof tops were a lot easier to maneuver over, that was until he was passing over the third gap when he notice half a dozen kunai flying towards him. So this was the first obstacle that his clones came up with, childs play. Ka watched as the kunai neared him, and placed his hands on his katana. Then once sure the blades were close enough, Ka pulled out the blade deflecting all six in one swipe. He rolled onto the next roof and slid the katana back in its scabbard, it would appear as soon as the blade was back in it's home, the six kunai hit the ground behind him.

Right about now Ka would usually turn around to see his work, but this time he would simply continue running forwards. He couldn't be bothered, he was like a man possessed, he was on a mission to change. He continued running until he ran out of roof top to leap across, and thats when he was brought his second obstacle by his clone. About a block away he noticed a rather large wardrobe being hoisted up onto an upper balcony, and was about to brush it off when he noticed a clone throwing a kunai towards the rope carrying the large piece of bedroom furniture. And to make matters worse, a group of elderly women were just under it, now he didn't curse when he hit the roof face first, but a loud "Shit!!" Was heard just before Ka disappeared leaving a single foot print where he once stood.

The ground seemed to crumble as his feet touched the ground, leaving a trail of dust and debris in his wake. Why would the clone do that, were they crazy or what. The wardrobe fell slowly towards the ground in Ka's eyes at least while he rocketed towards the group of old women, from the rate of free fall he could tell that he would just be able to get to the women before utter doom. he was able to do just that, and once there Ka shoved them out of the way. Thank goodness for that, that wardrobe would have had a new paint job if he hadn't intervened. With the women now safe, Ka spun around until he seen the clone that threw the kunai, and watched it wave before taking off.

"God dammit, what the hell are they thinking" He said to himself before helping the women up to their feet. Most of them were grateful for his help, however there was one who had decided to scold him for just shoving them. He let the old wind bag vent, which lasted about thirty minutes, and after that moment Ka swore to himself to die before he gets that old.

Once he was free'd from the women, Ka leapt back up to the roof tops and looked around for either of his clones, they would give him a sense of direction for the time being. With no sign of them anywhere, he decided it would be best to keep moving instead of loitering the area. Off again, leaving indents in the roof tiles, Ka rocketed east in hopes he could find one of them before they could do some damage to people. Sure he could just dispel the clones, but where was the fun in that.

Meanwhile not that far from Ka's current position, one of his clone stood below in an alley and listened to the footsteps crashing on the roof above. If the original wanted a challenge, then he would be given one. With that the clone made a hand seal and was covered in a cloud of smoke, and as the original Ka jumped over the alley he was tackled out of the air by a rather large canon ball. Which turned back into the clone as the two parted, and proceeded to deliver a sharp kick into the original's stomach. They seemed to really be taking advantage they none of them were capable of feeling pain, which Ka would use to his advantage and grab onto the foot trying to escape his reach. Once he had a hold of the clone, he swung his arms over his head, the proceeded to hurl the clone back into the alley, where it then disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Once the clone was dispersed, Ka was able to realize which direction the last remaining clone was situated. Seemed that it wanted to finish things off in the training dome, fitting however some people could still be injured. Perhaps this was a ploy to get him to think more tactilely in the field, then again it could just be a chance to brawl. So with that Ka took off like a wild banshee over the roof tops, he was like a possessed man, he had to stop the final clone before any harm came to anyone else in the village. So as he ran through the village several things ran through his head, but the most dominant one was just one question. How was this training going to help him change the world?

Well for starters; he would be able to respond to emergencies at a much faster rate, and be able to stop people from doing wrong on his watch. That and of course being exponentially faster in his travel times, with that and a few jutsu he has yet to come up with distance and time would just be a figment of his imagination. Oh the possibilities with this speed are endless, however he would have to be able to read the movements of his opponents just in case they were that fast. However that would have to be taken care of another time as he was sure to be at the entrance to the training dome by now.

Much to his relief, Ka was now passing through the entrance of the training grounds. However as soon as he stepped foot on the ground, he tripped over a wire carefully placed. This caused him to hit the ground, and hard too. He skid across the ground for about forty feet before flipping onto his back, wondering how in the hell he missed the wire. This clone was going to be slightly more difficult then the last, never fear citizens, the hero of this story wont be done in by a copy of himself. So he stood up and started brushing himself off when he noticed a nearby shrub rustle, followed by a familiar glint of light. Jumping out of the way of the Kunai, Ka retaliated in the same manor, only to hear the thump of his blade hitting the dirt.

"Shit" The Jiko heir said to himself as he dove behind a large rock, this was going to be slightly more challenging but not by much. Luckily his clone hadn't been training his speed as Ka was doing, not much of a challenge at all. He watched as his clone seemed to jump in slow motion from cover to cover, and though why not toy with him a bit. So he pulled out a shuriken from his pouch and threw it at the clone. Not right at the clone, just close enough to the fuckers face that he would be able to feel the wind being sliced around it.

The clone seemed none to pleased with this and threw a kunai at Ka, who seemed to almost walk away from blade laughing as he did so. Then an Idea hit him, a way to screw with him even more. As his grin grew, Ka cleared his throat started to laugh, only the sound was not coming from his lips, but from just behind the clone. Who in turned slashed behind him to try and attack the disembodied voice, and accidentally tripped on a stone landing on his back. "Your going to have to try a lot harder then that" his voice seemed to dance from ear to ear on the clone as it stood up.

"I'm serious, I'd have more of a challenge fighting MaxiPad" That got to the clones nerves as he stood up and and started wildly slashing at the air around it, then after a few seconds the clone stopped and looked around for Ka. After about half a minute of searching, Ka sighed and stepped out in the open. "Come on, can't get no better then this" Again his voice came from behind the clone, which ended in a slight chuckle to antagonize the clone even more. Which it did, and the clone came charging at him with a look to kill.

So in order to evade the rather slow moving clone, Ka figured jumping would be the best solution. So he crouched down and started gathering his displacement energy into his leg. Then just before the clone was within arms reach, Ka lifted off straight into the air at S rank speed and landed on the ceiling of the training dome grinning. His voice throwing trick would not work at this distance, which meant he would have to be tricky if he wanted to make this last for a while longer.

So from his heightened altitude Ka was able to get a better read out of the land, and was able to confirm that there were no innocents near by. with that another grin crossed his face as he started to run down the wall at C rank speeds, just fast enough for the clone to keep up with. As he ran Ka noticed the clone throwing more projectiles at him, so he Brought a hand up with a disc of displacement energy in front in order to deflect the blades as he ran.

It was at that moment that Ka knew that he would have to finish off this clone quick, and watched as the clone continued to throw kunai after kunai at him. So as he ran and deflected the blades, Ka examined his opponent and already knowing it's weak points threw a punch into the clones stomach before racing off to the other side of the training ground. Only to turn around and and sweep the legs out from under it, this made Ka laugh a bit as he stood over the clone and slammed his foot down on the clones throat. Doing that caused the clone to disperse in a cloud of smoke, and Ka laying leisurely on the ground. "I wonder what I will end up doing next time" He said with a chuckle.

Ka had been out for a midnight stroll alone in the domed village of Dipugakure, well not completely alone. A gift he had received recently had been following him around ever since he had arrived home, seemed like so long ago now that he thought about it. Getting side tracked with the concept of time, the gift was a flying carpet that seemed bonded with him, interacted with him in ways, strange for tapestry don't you think? So the two moved through the village looking for something to do, something to get the metaphorical blood pumping. It would a about an hour of walking when a daring thought crossed his mind. Should I give it a try? To be honest, Ka wasn't too comfortable with placing his life in the hands, or rather tassels of a rug, but what the hell you only live once. He was about to step onto the flying carpet when he heard the sounds of a fight happening not too far away, so he turned in the direction of the noise and took off running as fast as he could. Without skipping a beat the carpet was right beside Ka, which was quite surprising to say the least. It took them about a minute to reach the fight, which seemed to escalate into a full blown bar brawl. At least a dozen men were throwing fists, so with a nod to the carpet, Ka charged into the fray. One man saw him coming and threw a haymaker at Ka which he was more then ready to take care, and did just that by hitting several spots on his body stopping his movements and on the ground. Three more men saw what Ka had just done to their friend, and charged at him. So Ka pulled out three kunai and threw at the feet of his attackers, leaving them planted in their place screaming while Ka placed several strikes on their spines, dropping them to the ground. Four down, eight to go He though as the rest of the group came charging towards him. Thats when his carpet flew in under his feet and lifted him into the air above them. "Stop this useless fighting or all of you will feel pain" His words fell upon drunken deaf ears as they started shouting and throwing objects at him. So with a sigh he stepped off the carpet and landed on one man's shoulders, causing the man to hit the ground hard, knocking the man out. Three of the remaining seven men had pulled out knives and slashed at Ka, one got in a lucky shot and struck his arm. Sure he didn't feel it, but it none the less pissed him off. So after chopping with his hand at the base of two men's necks, Ka turned his attention to the one that hit him. To say he was on him like white on rice was an understatement, Ka had hit ninety percent of his pressure points, making sure not to kill him from the pain, just knock him out. The final four seemed enraged at this point, which was good, meant they weren't focused on their surroundings. So he focused his aura on his shoulders and charged at a wall on his left, bringing it down on top of the three men. One man, if you could call him that evaded the crumbling wall and threw a punch at Ka, who just as easily evaded it and grabbed the back collar of buddy's shirt, forcing him into a hunched over position. That was when Ka delivered a sharp uppercut, leaving the final person knocked out and topless. Proud of his work, Ka jumped on the carpet and flew towards the hospital. Sure these guys were assholes, but they were assholes of Dipu who deserved medical attention for their altercation with the Head of the Jiko clan. Once he had arrived at the hospital, Ka had informed them of what happened, and a squad of medical ninja ran out in order to gather the injured. Perhaps it would be best that he stay behind and wait for the group to recover from their injuries. So he sat in the reception area awaiting his victims arrival, his carpet sitting in the seat next to him trying to initiate a game of rock paper scissors. After about twenty minutes of perplexed looks from from the others in the reception area, his victims had finally arrive, saying that three dozen men had taken them out. That made Ka burst out in laughter, causing more looks going to him, inappropriate. Maybe next time he would show some restraint, ah who was he kidding, they were lucky he didn't decide to kill them for their insubordination. Then again, he wasn't all too keen on going missing-nin, at least not yet.
