|  The unusual weather patterns of the Land of Malice never affected Mahougakure, so then why was it that a dense fog of smoke had blot out the sun. While the shinobi were still processing it Stonera was struck by something immediately causing a harsh crack to fill the air before a chunk of it was bathed in flames. Alarms would begin to blare as despite the sudden attack due to the dense smoke it was difficult for anyone to get an idea of what was attacking them. While the chaos unfolded yellow and blue eyes would blink as the only thing sharp eye-shinobi on Aerora would be able to spot before a massive depression would form as the sphere began to plummet downward as Matatabi used it as a springboard to get to Fira her form having fully coalesced from it's previous intangible state. She would cock her head to the side as a group of shinobi would surge out from Holyra presumably in search of her. The In'yōjikage was in a seething rage, who had dared attack his village as even the dangerous creatures within the Land of Malice had long since learned to never dare such a thing after his predecessors handily eliminated any threat that had tried to rear it's head against them. It would seem that it was his turn to remind them of their place, however his angry visage would be momentarily stunned as he beheld the form of the Nibi in the distance with his Zenraigan casually sitting on Fira while licking her paw her eyes mockingly staring straight at him through the dense fog. "No... how could it of gotten up here, only the Nanabi was said to be capable of flight?! We need to evacuate all of our civilians we are under attack by one of the nine!" he shouted before having to utilize an extremely powerful wind technique to disperse the smoke. - Matatabi:
Name: Nibi Bijūdama

Description: Matatabi points both of her tails above her head generating chakra over a period of time (2 Posts Total) before releasing a sphere, 10 feet in diameter, of condensed chakra which flies at Ripping Discord speeds to impact an opponent dealing SS-rank ambient chakra damage upon contact before exploding dealing SS-rank fire release damage around a 420ft blast radius. This technique is capable of flying 420ft before dispersing and often when used on fleeing opponents if they are within the same location even in a different topic it can occasionally detonate causing destruction felt even that far away. Matatabi can release this technique in a second way by eating the sphere before releasing a 20 foot wide beam which extends up to 840 feet away dealing S-rank ambient chakra based damage each post (total) while costing a constant drain to it's chakra reserves each of it's posts equal to it's original cost.

Description: Matatabi's smoke is notable for it's ability to smother things to unconsciousness this is due to it's power over wind as it sucks away the oxygen within the air replacing it with carbon-di-oxide, or when she's at half resiliency carbon monoxide, which causes those who breathe in the air to gradually lack oxygen before fainting. This passive only comes into effect when Matatabi utilizes her AOE techniques, a Smoke Release technique within a closed off environment or if the victim is trapped within a Smoke Release technique. Depending on their Endurance Tiers they have a set time limit before they suffocate and are knocked unconscious (carbon-di-oxide) or suffocate until they get knocked unconscious and promptly die (carbon monoxide). Those with breath holding techniques can extend the time limit.

Description: Matatabi has been influenced by her personality fusion with Neko and it has affected how she fights, she has seen the viability of being comprised of smoke however she does like utilizing physical combat. Although she is a chakra based entity like her 8 brethren, she is able to switch between her normal condensed chakra state, her smoke comprised intangible state, and a blend of the two which causes her to seem to be wreathed in flames albeit being Semi-Tangible, with all three being at will. While in her normal state she interacts in the Physical Plane like normal just like any of her siblings, however while she is intangible in addition to her complete immunity to ambient based physical techniques she likewise bolsters an innate resistance to those which are not strong against her Smoke Release chakra based form, however she is incapable of utilizing physical techniques in this form. Finally her third stage is combination of the two, retaining the physical immunity yet maintaining her ability to utilize physical techniques in exchange for losing the elemental physical resistance her fully intangible state possesses. The speed at which she can switch from one state to another is dependent on her speed tiers however that only in regards to switching back, when switching to her Smoke State it uses both her Speed+Reaction like a Tier Chain as she has trained herself to do it reflexively if being targeted by physical techniques as long as she doesn't know they are capable of also hitting intangible or semi-tangible targets.

Description: Matatabi has a remarkable ability to react to danger and it actually has become a sort of sensory for her, while being unable to sense malicious intent like Kurama can she can however sense when actual danger is coming her way. That coupled with her heat vision seeing left eye and her chakra vision seeing right eye grants her three different types of sensory. It is because of this technique that she is notoriously difficult to catch as she is prone to detecting approaching would be sealers often long before they notice she's there. Her danger sensory acts on her reaction tiers however can be bolstered depending on what the danger exactly is, due to it working hand in hand with her unique sensory visions.

Description: Matatabi exhales a dense stream of pitch-black smoke from her nostrils which rapidly expands at blinding light speeds over a radius of 1,400 ft, and can be likened by the uninformed to a strange weather phenomena. Not only does this cut off all vision it has the added effect of choking victims who breathe it in making it more difficult to breath which has the effect of increasing their stamina consumption in battle. This smoke is remarkably resistance to area clearing techniques of the wind variety as while it initially seems to disperse itself it quickly rolls back in before becoming empowered by the wind technique used to clear it requiring a follow-up area dispersal technique to take that rank into account as if they used a Combination Technique. Those within the smoke require either S-rank++ Reaction, a S-rank Reaction+Strength Tier Chain in order to see through it with vision, however an S-rank Sensory technique that doesn't rely on vision or X-ray Vision can see through this technique with ease. Those with dojutsu will suffer from their eyes watering with prolonged activation within the smoke which results in gradual stamina loss overtime unless they possess Endurance Tiers above S-rank.
