Sticky Situation (Mission)

Another mission for the same thing, the higher-ups were starting to work her nervous. All she wanted to do was relax from week to week and potentially work on her soon to be team of orphans if she had a choice, however those decisions hadn’t quite been up to her, she’d refused the mission the first time but it was soon return from someone she couldn’t decline. “Whatever, the sooner I get done the sooner I can get into a hot tube.” She stated to herself before entering the building that she’d currently be working at, hopefully they had a snack in the back or something of that sorts somewhere.

The moment Indra arrived she would be greeted by an overweight man in his forties listening to the radio while eating donuts. Paul wasn’t exactly what you would call a stellar employee, after his wife had left him and took the kids he had pretty much given up on life and now does the bare minimum when it comes to anything but eating and wallowing in self-pity. Luckily for him, the person that managed the hospital was his brother so he’d get away with slacking off but he knew Paul was suffering deep inside which is why he had asked for help to cover the night shift so Paul could go home. “Oh. You must be the replacement. There are 10 rooms here, you have to check if all the patients are in their rooms and also squash any disputes going on between them. Once they all get irritated you won’t be able to survive the night with all the screaming. Also, only people who are employed to the hospital should be allowed in at this time. I don’t know why anyone would even want to come in but make sure you keep the place secure. Any questions?” Paul was alright out the door the moment he asked this question so even if she did have any questions Paul was out, he had a poker game to get to. And so Indra was left alone. If she looked on the desk Paul was sitting on she would notice some keys, a schedule and a box of donuts.

Upon entering the building she would observe the overweighted man, he seemed as if he had a bit to say as he stuffed another donuts into his mouth while waiting for her. The moment His mouth open the scents of batter and eggs would slap her across the face followed by the smell of preserved strawberries, he wouldn’t have to worry a bit about if she heard him or not, she could smell every word that left his mouth after replacement. She held back the urge to spill her guts on the ground... well at least till he left.

“So hold down the fort, sound pretty easy.” she said walking over to where he once sat down, she would push the donuts off of the desk, before picking up the schedule and keys. She would begin to read the schedule before she took a second to observe the keys for anything special, she would then go on to investigate the desk to see if there was a list or something that could be used to identify any patients she might encounter or maybe even a guide to dealing with their scuffles.

She wouldn’t find anything but a packet of gum in the draw but upon reading the schedule she’d see the times when she would do her rounds to check on as well as the names of each patient. If she looked at the clock she would notice that it was time for her to do her rounds. To her left, she would notice a door that leads to a long hallway that housed the rooms of all ten patients. Once she went through the door and down the hall she would be greeted by the first patient, Amy, wandering around the hallways as the door to her room was open. “They’re out to get me….The aliens! They’re here!” Amy screamed at the top of her lungs the moment she saw Indra and began running off down the hallway while throwing anything she could find on the floor.

Indra would pull out a stick out of gum and threw it in her mouth, she began to read the schedule seeing that it was time to do the rounds “fuck, I can’t even get a second to take a damn break. she cursed under her breath. She followed the instructions to go towards the left then looked down at the paper as she heard a screams about aliens, she looked up creating a platform in front of Amy using it as a wall to block her front running towards the other patients ”amy, only your room is safe from the aliens” she stated in a matter to confuse her into running into her room.

Confused as to how a platform had magically appeared before her blocking her path, she would turn to see the person responsible and would immediately run to embrace her. "My guardian angel! You're finally here to protect me from the aliens! Thank you so much!" She said before grabbing her by the shoulders and started to kiss her on the cheeks repeatedly before clinging to her arm. Since Amy was cooperating with Indra it would be best to take her back to her room. The only problem was that once she arrived at Amy's room she would notice that it was already occupied by another patient, Dan. Dan had made himself home in Amy's room as he was always a bit jealous of how much nicer it was than his, which was a lie considering all their rooms looked the same and the only difference was their own personal belongings. He had also placed a chair under the doorknob to stop it from opening like in those movies he always watched and started to well, watch a movie at max volume.

Indra closed her eyes as the Amy put her dried lips all over her face, once she was done she would tug Amy along the hallway to her room, however once she got there she realized there was a bit of a problem since her door wouldn’t open and this old movie was playing really loudly. She would glance down to the schedule in her other hand and seen that Dan was a bit of an asshole at times “DAN, Your room is calling for you back!” she screamed at the top of her voice hoping it’d get his attention.

Due to Dan being hard of hearing he didn’t actually hear Indra calling out to him, in fact, he immediately fell asleep in Amy’s chair. Amy was still visibly flustered as she constantly screamed about being watched by aliens and all the commotion she was causing woke up the other inmates and now the entire hospital was filled with chattering and arguing. On top of that there was a constant knock on the front door so Indra had her hands full at the moment. Now, what would Indra do? There were a lot of things that needed her attention and surely there was trouble brewing.

Indra would close her eyes before trying to think up a solution to the mess that she gotten herself in by accepting this mission, she would place Amy inside a cube before going and barging her shoulder into the door. she would immediately place Dan in a smaller cube since he was a bit of an asshole. After which she would turn the tv off before making her way down to the other patients and putting the in cubes by themselves, she then made her way to the person who'd been knocking on the main door. "yes how many I help you?" she asked a she drew a platform in front of the door stopping whomever from just walking in.
