OOC: A Prickly Situation/ Leaders of the future Amon/Tetsu/Cacaoo

Amon was doing his usual routine of seeing the world. The world holds vast wonders that was yet to be discovered, and so far his curiousity has led him to the Thorn forrest. This was due to a strange letter that spoke of the leaders of the future. "A chunin exam exercise huh? I guess i should go meet my fellow ninja." Amon then begins his scouting of the competition.

Thorn Forest. Tetsu's own home terrain. That was where these people had decided to enter. Tetsu had been here a few times. He heard his forest fire from the genin exams had managed to nearly reach here. It wasn't long before he heard someone arrive, walking down along the ground below. His nose twitched a bit as he smiled, getting a good sniff of the guy's scent from high above in the trees. He watched the guy walking around and decided to follow in silence, using the tree branches and plant life as cover to keep himself concealed.

A training exercise? In enemy territory? How troublesome. Though she supposed there was a value to scouting it out, she also knew the dangers of fighting in unfamiliar territory... and the advantages of home ground. This wasn't going to be fun at all, but it would certainly be interesting. What was more, there seemed to be so much cover! Certainly different than back home, where silence and slinking through the shadows, outside of the range of peripheral vision, sufficed for 'hiding'. Oh, yes. It was certainly going to be interesting.

Taking advantage of the abundant foilage, Hisoka took the opportunity to get used to the feeling of passing from tree to tree, careful to move silently as she did - finding the resistance limbs gave, the pressure that was needed to land smoothly without disturbing her environment. Even with the poor lighting, Hisoka was undeterred. In fact, she hardly noticed at all, her eyes accustomed to a far darker environment. Fun, fun. Now, of course, she just had to find her rivals... before they found her.

You'd best hope they're incompetent then, girl. Someone as weak as you wouldn't stand a chance otherwise, a voice chimed in her head. Of course he'd decide to choose now, of all times, to bother her. Yeah, yeah. Please be quiet and let me concentrate here.

Amon then starts to get bored. "Well then, its about that time. I wanted to try this out for the longest. The best defense is always an offense. * Amon then constructs a flute and begins to play. The tune was pretty beautiful, the melody filled the area.

Tetsu watched the guy, still hiding within the plant life in the trees above. He watched for a moment when the guy ended up creating a grey flute out of nothing, moving to put his lips up to it to play. Tetsu wasn't sure what it was, but he did learn a little about Entity during his time in the Academy. They could create structures out of nothing. They had some of the lowest rankings in Taijutsu, but also had immunity to it. That would be a problem in his case. But they were strongest in Genjutsu and Fuinjutsu. He wasn't sure if this guy was like any normal Entity, but he knew he had to act before the man could set up anything.

Within a split second Tetsu acted. He made a short series of hand seals and touched the branch he stood on. He didn't need contact with the ground, but he just felt like doing it. Then, just a second after the first note left the flute, a tendril of flesh shot from the ground from right below Amon. It would rush up, attempting to pierce him from below, right through the center of his body.

Where the hell were they? Hisoka realized she had stumbled onto a problem. If she knew the general location of where someone was, she could... probably... track them, but at the moment, she didn't. Apparently she had entered from a very different part of the forest than the others, but that wasn't terribly relevant. What was relevant that she would have to track them down the old fashioned way. In a freaking forest.

Great.

Playing a flute was apparently quick, this wasnt no kind of orchestra that Amon was pulling, so on one note , he created a mirage of himself playing the flute as the real him plased into the ground away from the mirage along with his flute. Most energy constructs are the same color, so it was believable, Using this to register the mirage as the real him. "Now we wait" The tendirls came from under the floor and hit the mirage fom down under, Apparent... the music stopped and the mirage looked down. "Phantom jutsu.... ghost body..... your attacks wont work on me. " The phantom amon then creates a giant blade and begins to look around to where the tendrils lead. "Ahh... so are you going to fight me now?" The mirage then runs toward the ninja, extending the blade even further.

Amon decided to stay hidden, as the the mirage took the attention off of him. Holding his shoulder, he was apparently hurt by the last attack. "Tch."

Since Tetsu had been watching him since the beginning. He had seen the real Amon slip through the ground. This type of genjutsu didn't seem to hide the user of it and Tetsu had an aerial view. He sighed, watching his own jutsu seem to phase through what he thought was a clone. He bit his lip, knowing he was caught in some genjutsu. But he didn't worry about it too much. Instead, he closed his eyes for a moment before jumping out of the tree. Flesh wings sprouted from his back and he flapped them, catching the air and then rose up into the sky at bullet release speeds, out of sight and high above the tree line.

"Screw it. Might as well use them if I'm going to have to hunt anyway. Frazzle, Rass, you're up..." Making a small knick on her left thumb with a kunai, Hisoka rolled up her sleeve and drew a line of blood up the symbols trailing along her arm there, infusing it with chakra as she did. Two snakes twirled along her arm before dropping lightly to the tree branch she was resting on.

"Frazzle, I'd like you to find any Shinobi you can and keep an eye on them. Coordinate with Rass. Once you find someone, Rass, don't engage: Instead, come back and tell me."

"I have to work with Rass? Booring. I can find them by myself, you'll sssee."

"Ssshut up and get to work."

Settling back to wait as the two snakes slithered off in search of prey, Hisoka pondered how exactly she was going to deal with someone once she managed to find them, though her senses remained on high alert on the off chance that someone stumbled upon her first.

Amon rubs his shoulder then gets out of the floor. "Ketsugogan!" Upon activating the ketsugogan, he immediately began searching for a human brain pattern, so far he only picked up two. One that was faint because of the high elevation, and another that was on floor level. Amon then decided to chase the one that was on the ground while the mirage paid attention to the one that was in the air. The mirage then constructed a gattling gun and began shooting upwards around the area in which amon relayed the area of the specific brain pattern. Hit or miss, the Mirage was doing its job.. and even if the genjutsu constructs did connect and not do physical damage, it would do mental damage instead, so the danger was real either way.

The Real amon began playing his flute once more as he was moving in a specific range towards the other brain pattern. His movements made no sound for he hovered mostly.

Mirage Clone - Post Count 3

Tetsu put on a burst of speed as he flew up, his adrenaline rushing. He was now over two hundred feet in the air. Then his senses kicked in, something was coming at him. Changing direction mid air, he would disappear from view of the mirage and avoid the bullets. If the mirage kept track, it would end up shooting the trees, as the forest was nothing but an obstacle for projectiles. He looked down at the ground from far above, still going up higher and higher till he was a little over three hundred feet in the air and grew a second pair of arms. Then, he made an array of hand seals and a large volume of water turned the sky dark, casting a shadow over a 50 meter radius, falling down toward the forest floor at crashing ground (B) speed. Tetsu then followed it up with more seals, forming two clones of water which glided around in the sky, one following the crashing water from behind.

[OOC: Amon, you didn't read any of my posts at all, did you?]

Slithering through the dark of the forest, the two snakes scouted in increasingly widening arcs, their keen senses sorting out the distractions from potential targets. It wasn't surprising that Rass would be the one to hear the sound of a cascade of water ripping through the air towards the ground somewhere in the distance. Taking this as a sign, the snake slithered back at full speed to inform it's summoner even as it informed Razzle of the discovery and sent the older snake to investigate.

"... So, one of them uses water... and one uses sound? That's not going to be fun at all."

Still, forewarned was forearmed. She just had to wait for Razzle to report back the enemy's exact locations and then she could make a move. The sound fellow would probably prove problematic, but she had a trick or two that could travel farther than mere sound, if it came down to it.

Little did the snakes know once they came close in range, they would start to lose their way upon entering the area. Amon had already set up a jutsu to keep his tracks covered, and to buy time as well. He was a few feet away from the brain pattern that was floor bound, so that led the the jutsu to range close to the middle of the forest. The same would go for the water clone, that was closing in on the area that would step into the genjutsu covered area by accident. As for the attack above amon was sensing a spike in a brain wave pattern. Massive accessing of a persons chaka combined with the information of the chosen technique. Amon understood this well and predicted an aggressive jutsu, he quickly places his hands on the ground to encase himself in a double layered barrier along with a rule. That rule was Admitting the most embarrassing thing he can say to a women. As the barrier encases himself, the absolute rule ensured the durability of the barrier. The water rained hard, it sounded like falling boulders. When it subsided he took a deep breath

Meanwhile, the mirage grew in power and constructed a giant fly swatter and extended it with amazing speed towards the airborne opponent.

Tetsu watched as the flyswatter didn't have much leeway within the forest. Easily being out of reach as he continued flying to the side. Now it was his clones turn. The clone that fell onto the large lake made hand seals and pressed its arm inside of the water, using part of the exploding water colliding wave as water and catching everything within the water in a giant water prison and making them immobile. Since this was chakra based, even an Entity couldn't get out. The wail would not reach the clones ears, as the water would block it out.

The other water clone up by Tetsu made hand seals and used the water prison as a water source to shoot water like tendril drills out and pierce Amon, having been able to locate him by the sound of the music apart from the mirage. This too was chakra based so Amon would not be able to phase through it.

"What power... Finesse won't be an option." Frazzle mused as it watched, only it's eyes above ground level and concealed among fallen leaves, as the sound-using entity and water-using, winged ninja performed some kind of elaborate, extremely destructive flurry of ninjutsu. Still, something like that had to be exhausting, and while it was doubtlessly an intimidating array of powers, it also marked an opportunity. Calling upon Rass, he lurked and waited for his sister and summoner to arrive.

"Get ready, Rass," Hisoka murmured quietly as the snake slithered up her arm, hissing softly before beginning to formulate chakra. Silent as a ghost, she crossed the gap at an incredible rate, moving quickly enough that it would be nearly impossible to follow with the naked eye. With a mixture of speed and silence, she hopefully would be able to manage to get the drop on her opponents.

Amon was pierced by the tentacles and died, his genjutsu dispersed. What tuned out to be an exercise left for an unfortunate end for this young ninja.

Tetsu's water clone released the water around Amon and let it flow back to normal to complete the form of the miniature ocean, their opponent dead. The clone stayed on top of the water as the other one flew down toward its brethren. Tetsu followed behind, staying fifty feet above the water. He sighed and looked around, knowing his fight would attract some sort of attention. So, the clone that had used water prison before made a series of hand seals before a thick mist began to spread over the area in a one hundred meter radius.

After a short period of time, Hisoka reached the edge of a strangely shaped body of water. Even as she landed on a tree branch nearby, a rolling mist began spreading outwards from it. Luckily for Hisoka, she was familiar with both techniques through her summons, and had a basic understanding of the purposes of each. Someone had been slinging around a lot of water, a lot of chakra, and either intended to use this as an ambush or as an opportunity to hide until they could catch their breath and gain an advantageous position.

Either way, she couldn't afford to sit still... but she couldn't afford to rush, either. Focusing on her hearing, she stilled herself and waited. It didn't take long to hear the heavy beating of wings, too heavy to have been from an ordinary bird. It was likely she was dealing with someone with summoning capacity, like herself, with an unnaturally heavy flying pet, probably used to scout out targets in this heavy mist. That meant she would have to take it out first if she wanted to have a shot at the master.

Slipping a pair of shuriken into each hand, she released them with sharp snaps of her wrists, orchestrating their movements through the manipulated shuriken technique to entangle the origin of the beating sound of wings. Once she'd scouted it out, then she could worry about taking this thing apart properly. In the meantime, she allowed herself a tiny smile as Rass continued to prepare her ability. More than one person could take advantage of such an abundant source of water.

Tetsu was capable of catching his breath for a few minutes. Hidden within the mist he was mostly safe. However, he had a bad feeling. Before he could even plot out what he should do next, something triggered in his mind. It was his Sixth Sense, one of the things his clan was renowned for. Immediately he spun in mid air, bones sprouting from his hands, elbows, shoulders, knees and wings. These were long and few, but managed to catch onto the attacks sent at him.

Knocking the shuriken away, Tetsu felt the impact and spread out his wings, catching the air to hold him up as he read used his Sixth Sense's previous encounter as well as the angle of the strike and deflection off his bones to determine the direction he was attacked and immediately created his counter attack. Pointing his hands straight at the direction, ten thin bones of bullet shot from his fingers. Immediately after that he folded in his wings and came to a stop, standing on top of the water between his clones.

Hm... Interesting. As Hisoka's fingers danced lightly, forming the shuriken with their wires into a set of sorts, she finally encountered resistance. Hard resistance, like they had collided with steel or something, which was, to be honest, a little surprising. Fortunately(?) she hadn't known exactly where the target was, and the projectiles had taken a roundabout route of arriving. Though she didn't know this, this was pretty much the main factor keeping her alive at the moment, as she heard cannon-like collisions in the undergrowth somewhere in the distance. Apparently her opponent had taken the attack arriving from a certain direction to have meant her being in that direction... phew.

On the other hand, Hisoka herself had now learned the location of her opponent, giving her a touch of an advantage... if just a small one. Running a line of chakra along the wires connecting to her shuriken, she reinvigorated them, starting their movement up again as if they had never been parried in the first place. With a little tug of her fingers, they shot inwards towards their winged, stubbornly resilient target with what, she hoped, was sufficient penetrative force to get past whatever had blocked them the first time. The ceasing of the sound of wingbeats at this point was curiousity - had she managed to prevent them, or had her opponent somehow silenced himself and avoided her attack? In the mean time, Rass continued to prepare even further... when she was done and decided to act, things would not be pretty.
