Another day, Another... (gobuhaio)

Castellan Gremory would scoff adjusting his position and causing his horse to start to trot before squeezing down on it's sides while using his free hand to yawn on it's stirrups causing it to turn before galloping forward heading straight towards Gobuana's position he would use this sudden charge to thrust his rapier straight at her torso. As he did so something else would come out of the forest a Horned Foal would come into the area having heard the familiar sound of hooves galloping through the forest and figured it was one of it's kin moving about. It would whinny with annoyance as it was disappointed by the fact that it wasn't a monster it heard but instead a normal horse with something on top of it. But it wouldn't charge at it as it was confused as to where they were galloping to.

Gobuhaio would give gobubunk the signal to try to launch his magic at the human once more, with gobubunk also in a tree it would be difficult for the horned foil to get at attack at him. Gobuana was in a different situation as at this point her only choice was to rearrange herself and the formation she was in, she’s use light step and climb to relocate her position to a closer location near them. Gobuhaio would wait as this should be a pretty interesting change of events

Castellan Gremony was a noble with many peers, but before a goblin he was death itself and Gobuana would find out as before she could fully escape with the rapier piercing her belly before she was flung from her tree down to the ground before, luckly her light steps would allow her to roll with the fall to avoid damage but now her belly was oozing blood from the puncture wound. As Castellan was about to gloat a ball of fire would come flying at his back before exploding on him and causing his horse to rear back in fright causing him to tumble off of it's back. Gah, these vermin can do magic?! Bastille! You shall not leave me here!" Castellan would exclaim with slight pain as his armor now had scorch marks on it before noticing his horse trying to run away and yelling at it causing it to halt in place. The Horned Foal would be startled and would turn it's head towards the source of the fireball and promptly charge at the tree he was in before it's horn would pierce into it causing it to get stuck and whinny pitifully as it was trying to get free.

with the horned foil stuck and the human off his high horse there was no real point in him believing he could win. the tree he stood one would shake a bit but due to light step he was able to keep his balance either way, he would look toward gobuhaio who ran out to gobuana which cause him to stay in the tree since he wasn't ordered to do anything. Gobuhaio fury was at a high but the way the situation looked for him was that he must get stronger "The next one won't leave you alive, Give me your equipment and i'll allow you to keep your life" he spoke to the human while looking down at his injuried ally, he'd gently plsce his hand on her check and rubbed her face softly.

Gobubunk was prepared to protect gobuhaio at any cost and would fire another fire ball if he decided to do anything other than what gobuhaio instructed, he'd fire another fireball at the human given the fact gobuhaio' life would be endangered.

Castellan Gremory would be suddenly approached by a goblin who seemed to be babbling at him in it's vermin-like language however he could not understand it and thus would scoff before getting up and readying is rapier to pierce the goblin's eyeball. However as he rushed forward another fireball would be launched at him causing him to be struck and topple over as a result as more searing pain washed over him due to the heat. The fire would once again startle the horse causing it to flee once more but this time Castellan Gremory wasn't able to order it not to leave him thus leaving him with less options. Meanwhile the Horned Foal was trying it's best to pry itself from the tree and would be able to do that turning and seeing three targets on the ground before running towards Gobuhaio with it's head lowered to try and spear him through with it's horn as it figured it could get him in addition trampling on Gobuana.

gobubunk was sure to get praised after tonight by his brother even more than so now that he was able to use the magic stone his brother gave him to fight he was more than the casual goblin. He would feel his tree shake, causing him to look down at the ground to see the horned foil pulling himself from the tree. "brother," gobubunk screamed out. both gobuana and gobuhaio would look behind them toward bunk right after the fireball hit the human, to see the foil rushing toward them. gobuana curled herself up to minimize the amount of damage she was dealt, while gobuhaio would use light step to jump out of the way of the foil halfway into it charging to him. this would instead hit the human on the floor rather than initial target, gobuhaio would follow behind the horned foil with his cub femur, he would then use the femur to smash the eye of the human like a watermelon, he would use observe to make sure his timing was precise.

It was pretty obvious to gobuana that staying on the ground wasn't exactly the best choice for her right now thus she would climb into a tree relax on the branch while using sneak

hunter cell:

What a combination although somethings were a bit off, as Gobuhaio wasn't fast enough to completely dodge the incoming strike though luckily for him the damage he would of sustained would instead deplete from his plate sleeve as a deep line was gouged in it from the near miss. Castellan would be less fortunate as a grinding sound was heard before the noble yet out a high pitched yelp as he was bodily tossed to the ground with a puncture hole being added to his armor. Fortunately he was still alive but Gobuhaio was on the move and all Castellan had left was a single thrust which he would do as a way to stall. If Gobuhaio didn't care then they would both trade blows with Castellan's eye being popped out of it's socket a spurt of blood trailing after it while Gobuhaio would find his eye pierced by the tip of the rapier. However if Gobuhaio backed off then Castellan would have another chance to fully stand up and would run over to the Horned Foal before expertly mounting it instead of his now fled horse.

gobuhaio would open his eyes or believe he did before noticing that half his vision was impair, knowing that the horned foil was still around and about he would quickly change into the armor of the man he just killed and replaced his femur with his rapier. he would then turned around to the horned foil to gather its attention "Brother, gobuana, we are getting ready to leave. Gobuana get the food, brother help me take this thing down. so we can go" he commanded. Gobubunk would climb down from the tree in combination with sneak while holding his stick, then used light step and sneak to rush to the horned foil and thrust the stick in the other hole of the foil. with that gobuhaio would take advange of the moment to do the same and thrust the rapier through the eye of the foil. if that wasn't enough to kill the foil, it was enough for gobuana to use the trees to travel above the foil to grab the human and the bats, so that the group could attempt to leave to the cave.

Being that the foil shouldn't have enough health to deal with both of their attacks they would be leaving with both the human, the bats, the foil, and his femur. while leaving the area they would use sneak to return back to the base

The Goblins would manage to quickly use their new gains in order to slay the Horned Foal as it was once more stuck in another tree after rushing past the human corpse and suffice to say being stuck in that situation it isn't good a long lifespan. Once they got the food they would gradually head back to the cave with their new gains.

Being that gobusera and gobubunk had learned a new, the hunter squad went out in search to increase the food supply. gobuhaio would lead the squad East with sneak being as he wanted a large number of meat yet didn’t have the manpower to capture larger amounts, gobuana followed directly behind and felt a bit responsible for the eye gobuhaio had lost thus was willing to stay by his side no matter what. Gobubunk on the other felt that his brother was reckless to charge in head first despite having a helmet on. Nonetheless they traveled by using sneak and light step to ensure that they were quiet enough to not be seen, since they lacked manpower they must be quick to knock their opponent out and effective while doing it.’

It would be quite obvious that gobuana hadn’t given up on learning dual wield, as she carried along two femurs which belonged to two different monster but she Would swears that these were perfect for her And what she attempted to do. Gobubunk remained silent as he wanted to make sure he was able to get a drop on the monster before anyone else and only wanted to use his magic if it was absolutely called for.

There was a single armored tanuki minding it's business and eating grass while it continued to mind it's business it was unfortunate that it was being hunted by a bunch of sneaky goblins but it was the way the great forest was and the ones who weren't attentive would just get eaten. Either way the group would manage to get the drop on it though whether they decided to attack or not it's fate was essentially sealed so it really depended on how they wanted to go about this.

Spoiler:

being that its one beast that wasn't much of a challenge on its own "gobuana, try to work on your dual weapon fighting style with that beast" gobuhaio commanded softly, she would give a silent nod before leaping out from behind the shadow of the bushes and attempting to stick the eyes of the taniku with both of her blunt weapons. yet if she wasn't able to hit the tanuki with the other blunt weapon, she would then kick the tanuki into a tree, leaving little to no room for a retaliation if she fail.

being that her combination of attacks would more than likely do the job, she would climb into a tree and use the taniku that was left lying on the ground as bait for the next group of monsters. as long as she could prove her strength it would be worth the risk of doing of fighting.

Spoiler:

The armored tanuki would be blinded causing it to squeal in agony and reflexively pull away while curling into a ball, however when it was punted it would hit the tree and remain in it's curled up form despite being in agony. It was horrible it was just minding it's business and then the world went dark, how that happened it had no idea but it seemed as if this was it's life now. It's only defense now was it remain in it's curled up form as hopefully whatever attacked it couldn't penetrate it's armored shell.

gobuhaio and gobubunk's eyes widened as they watched her kick the field goal only to kick it against the tree only to hold back laughter, she would look over to them and give them an deep angry stare, before returning to wildly swing her blunt weapon into its shell to eventually kill it. once it died she would return to the area they hid in using sneak and would wait for a potential victim to come get a taste of the free meal they laid out for them.

The armored Tanuki would perish shortly after getting repeatedly attacked by Gobuana though it seemed as if she still wasn't capable in dual wielding maybe it just wasn't her thing after all. Either way the group would end up trying to hide in the bushes once more, sure enough as they waited something came out from the bushes opposite them namely a Black Wolf which would sniff the area before noticing the armored tanuki corpse on the ground. It would sniff the air before rearing back and letting out a howl to alert the other members of it's family that there was a fresh kill nearby before another Black Wolf would emerge from the bush right after it. The one that came after would go over to check out the fresh kill while the other one remained back to watch it's back, it seemed that something had gotten these Black Wolves a bit more paranoid than normal. Perhaps a sort of shift had occurred in the eastern part of forest recently which caused their species to sort of fall from grace as the most dangerous species within this section of the great forest.

a few days ago one of his underlings were attacked by a black pup, gobuhaio wasn't exactly fearful of his current situation but he wasn't in the mood to let these two black wolves leave alive. gobubunk would look over to gobuhaio and grab his shoulder, once gobuhaio looked over to gobubunk, bunk simply nodded his head and used light step and sneak to relocate himself closer to the black wolf eating. Gobuana on the other hand, would do the same thing as gobubunk but would position herself to be behind the eating.

Once, gobuana was in position she would dash forward with the combination of light step, sneak, and ambush to swing both of her blunt weapon into the eye of the black wolf keeping look out, but if she was able to gain the proper technique she would instead swing one of them. gobubunk would follow her attack since she would gain the attention of both of them with his sharpened stick, he would swing the stick into the eye of the one preparing to eat his factions food. gobuhaio would follow this be swiftly running out of the cover of the bush with his rapier and attempt to stab wolf who'd decided to keep look out in the neck. for the wolves at this point it was obvious the goblins had no plans of letting them escape.

The Black Wolves were caught off guard by the sudden attack with Gobuana once more being unable to grasp how to dual wield but it was fine as between her and Gobuhaio they would make short work of the Black Wolf who was keeping lookout with it letting out a whine but before it's companion could react it was stabbed in the eye. Still it wasn't enough to finish it and with it's pain it would swipe at Gobubunk's belly slashing him with it's claws and then taking off leaving the meal that it could have gotten now that it knew it was bait. There were less Black Wolves than there used to be and it knew that it's pups needed it so it wouldn't throw it's life away trying to stand it's ground against three opponents. They could try to track it but it seemed while it was running away frantically it knew this part of the forest better than they did and thus it would be difficult to accurately track it.

gobuana was a bit shocked looking at the damage gobubunk took yet words didn't exactly leave her mouth only the gasp of shook. "brother are you alright?" gobuhaio asked waiting on him to reply "just scratch, not serious" gobubunk replied. gobuhaio would move to the to carve the wolf's skin to give gobubunk a coat to cover his wound, at the same time gobuana woul try to carve his feet to make gloves for gobuhaio since he made sure both her and bunk had some.

Once the carving was complete if he was able to make an item for gobubunk, his brother would put it on and the group would continue to sneak through the forest but they would move at a slower pace since the forest sky got dark and it became harder for the group to see.

Gobuhaio managed to carve two things from the Black Wolf's corpse namely it's pelt as well as it's paws which he could see Gobuana repurposing as gloves. Still it was useful as the first carve was pristine, but due to him using the remainder the second carve wasn't as good still Gobuana appreciated it and would gladly accept something her leader gave her. The other Black Wolf would have managed to get away but it seemed this group of Goblins was still going strong.

gobuhaio would pass the pelt to gobubunk, which he would immediately place on his body. the gloves were put on gobuhaio by gobuana with a bright smile, despite being of lesser quality. well, it wasn't important to them the only thing truly important right now was collecting more food. with the black wolf's meat and the uncarved meat of the armored tanuki the group would look to make this area their hunting ground for the night, they would take to the same bush and hid, leaving the meat out in the open to attract more predators to come eat.

It would seem that the blood shed would attract more predators, even those which weren't native to this area in particular but typically roamed around all of the Great Forest. Even though these predators were rarely seen the slithering coils were quite unnerving to watch as two Night Vipers would slither from different sections of the clearing before staring at one another before wordlessly agreeing on who would get what. One of them would head towards the Armored Tanuki while the other would head towards the Black Wolf, both of their tongues flicking out in order to smell the air better before trying to get a free meal.

The goblins would watch sinisterly as their first bite of the bait was meant to be their last bite for the night, gobubunk would position himself behind the one eating the tanuki while gobuana positioned herself in front of the one eating the black wolf. gobuhaio on the otherhand positioned himself behind the one eating the black, he would signal gobubunk to attack the one eating the tanuki.

which he did by leap from the bushes and using his sharped stick to stab the eye of viper, gobuhaio would follow this by using his rapier to pierce into the head of the other viper, hoping to pin him down and prevent him from escaping the rather of gobuana who attempt to use both of her blunt weapons against the night viper eat the black wolf meat, but if she wasn't able to grasp the way of the dual weild she'd settle for hitting him with one.

Night Vipers were quite dangerous for several reasons however, it seemed that these Goblins were aware of that fact seeing as they would try their best to sneak up on them and they would attack in a surgical manner. However despite the fact that Gobubunk would pierce one of the night viper's eyes, and both Gobuhaio & Gobuana savagely attacked the other it seemed that their attacks weren't enough to finish them outright. In regards to the first one it would hiss in pain rearing back before launching itself at Gobubunk with it's fangs sinking into his newly gained Black Wolf Pelt and luckily for him it would hold out even as the Night Viper's venom leaked onto it before it pulled away. On the other hand the pinned Night Viper would flail causing it's tail to lash out and whip at Gobuana's side with the strength of the Night Viper enough to knock her a foot away causing her to tumble to the ground. Fortunately it was still barely kept in place thanks to Gobuhaio but sure enough it was strong enough to get free if it was just him holding it down.

It was almost a disaster for the two sidekicks gobuhaio, but luckily they were both wearing items gobuhaio had given them specifically. For gobuana he’d given her the old tier 1 sleeves he was wearing when getting revenge against that Noble he still hadn’t eaten the meat of, for gobubunk he was wearing the Pelt gobuhaio just made from the wolf, so she’d use that to migrate the damage done. They both would have shocked looks on their faces but the thought of how they would’ve died without gobuhaio crossed their mind.

Gobubunk would recover from failing to finish of his prey, but it wasn’t that much of a problem to him as his brother and gobuana had yet to finish off the other one, since the rule of the night made it difficult for prolonged battles like the day time. Gobubunk would change his strategy up, being that the night viper gobuhaio was holding down had its back turned to him, he would utilize sneak, ambush, and his newly gain pierce prof to thrust his stick into the tail of the viper making the strength between them and the snake being held down even.

Gobuana would see that it was her time for the vipers to take her serious, she would rush over to the snake which at the moment was in a situation which made guarding itself impossible, once she make it to the snake she’d utilized sneak and ambush since the snake had bigger problems. She would utilize her newly learned dual wield to give the snake another well deserved beating, if that wasn’t enough to kill it gobuhaio would pull the rapier out of its head then re-apply to the head.

With the other viper now dead they would turn to the remaining one and give an intense stare, it wasn’t like any of they were actually scared of the sole noddle meat. They were intrigued on what it tasted like and what they could get from the snakes body to use in combat.

The Night Viper was aware of Gobuhaio as not only had he stabbed it in the head, it's tongue could smell him and though it couldn't see him it would flail it's tail which would collide with him though he was protected by the Black Wolf pelt and thus he would be able to stab at it with his pointy stick. From there it was gobo piled by Gobuana and it wouldn't be able to get free despite it's thrashing body, causing it to sustain the hits from her and promptly go still. The goblins would turn to look at the other night viper only for it to be in the process of climbing the tree with it continuing to climb until it was on the branches and promptly staring back at them with malice. It would hiss at them not the slightest bit intimidated as it ate foolish goblins for lunch and it knew if it had been the one to ambush then it would of been the one to kill one of them before they even knew what had happened.
