Arrival [Gado/Eli]

With Gado traveling over, it's been quite some time since he's seen or interacted with other people in the sense of friendlies. Most people that Gado ran into had some sort of grudge towards something else that trickled down into a problem that he had to deal with himself, but it's how most problems and fights started. As a matter of fact, maybe the intimidation occurred with the fact that Gado was wearing his bone armor exoskeleton, having a bit of a look that seemed out of the ordinary for some people.

"This must be the place."

Finally arriving at Nazogakure through the use of his own tracking skills, he started on fully focusing on the reason he arrived at the village in the first place. He was sure his team member passed through here, the smell was enough for him as it is.

This was probably around mid day when Elias finally finished his training. Today's training was a bit different than usual in a sense that he didn't really train physically. He didn't have to run or do an insurmountable amount of push ups, rather he had to sit for hours mastering symbols and seals. Fortunately for him, drawing seals and symbols came naturally to his family being that his great grandfather was one of the most powerful seal users in the world. At least that's what Eli was told since he isn't really allowed to know too much about his mother's side of the family. Apparently he just isnt "ready" or whatever that meant. Anyway, after completing his training for the day he would hurry off on the path towards his house when today, unlike every other day he'd run into a foreigner. Normally, Foreigners aren't as easy to spot and are usually detected by others through the attention they grab from shinobi escorts, being helplessly lost, or some sort of symbol from different nations. But this foreigner walked around looking as if he was ready for a fight. He walked about with no escorts, suited and booted in such a strange bone like armor. So naturally Eli had to go fuck with this character. Absolutely no way around it he had to do what Eli do. " Oh shit fam.... Wat are thooooooossssssee???!!" He'd shout at Gado hoping to catch his attention and get an explanation in return.

With Gado sniffing around and things of the sort, he would have immediately sensed the vibrations of a particular individual that may have been a native to these lands. With his strange manner of speaking as if he was posing a question to Gado, the armored teen would walk a little closer, being just as confused about the answer itself, as well as outfit the boy was wearing.

"I could say the same about you. Anything could happen at any moment, I wouldn't want to be the kid that' s not wearing anything to protect themselves. "

Now that the curiosity section about what Gado was wearing was out of the way, he started to ask a question to the man.

"You live here right? Looks like I ended up in the village while tracking someone, my team member. Only two of us are active so i can't really say who the leader is, but we come from dipu."

A big smile came across Eli's face when the strange boy explained that the armor was a form of precaution. although that much was obvious to him, Eli still felt that he would've done better to just act normal and move about. When the stranger asked him if he lived her, he'd nod his head and point to his head band . " Ya man i live here. So Dipugakure huh? Why would your team mate come here?"

"I don't know, he's pretty strong, so I would think that he would be able to take care of himself. However, I don't think the problem relies in someone strength or how powerful they are to solve their problems. He did say that it was for personal reasons, and I was going to leave him alone, but I never left the village before either. So here I am...."

Forgetting that he didn't introduce himself, Gado felt like it would have been a good time to do so now.

"My name is Gado Kurogane, i'm sure you'll be seeing me in the chunin exams. Any ninja who have a dream that's worth a damn will be there, which means.... even if I am assuming this...you'll be there too. I'd rather us meet in peaceful circumstances first. I've been hearing many rumors of the children being born lately being more special than usual. Are you one of them?"

Eli would cross his arms curious at what the stranger had to say about his team mate. What would make a genin travel soo far. Was it a love interest? a personal vendetta perhaps? Or maybe this guy was just lying to him and he isn't here for his teammate at all. Either way, Eli would give him the benefit of the doubt . Besides, Gado didn't seem like the type. After introducing himself Gado then mentioned the chuunin exams along with some other things that triggered a chain of thoughts for Elias. " Special? I.. I dunno. What's dis chuunin exams that you mention? Is it not peaceful? Do you think that's where he went?"

Eli's curiosity would start getting the best of him. So he'd stick around hearing Gado out, "I'm Eli by the way."

"It's how we get promoted in the ninja world as genin in some cases. Or better yet, for genin, it's the most likely way in order to showcase your skills as a representation of your village, as well as moving foward in your career as a ninja. If you ever looked at the history books of the past or even talked to the few individuals that manage to outrank you, you would know about them too. "

He was surprised that he didn't.

"A series of tests that vary between type and other things of the sort, it's going to test everything."

Elias heard about what the chuunin exams were and based off of what he's being told that place sounds very nerve wrecking. One of the last exams that he had to take when he was younger was similar to these chuunin exams, but he ended up failing. On the day that he was supposed to be tested he bailed and went break dancing instead. " Sounds pretty tough. Are you ready for that kind of testing? I dont know if this village does things like that because I've never heard of it. " He'd then start playing with his dread locks before continuing. " I mean I dunno, I'd be super nervous. ..Hey, you said most people are special. Are you like most people?"

"Am I ready for something like that? Depends really, id have to impress someone enough or beat everyone else if i'm supposed to make it to the top. Even when it comes to failing, you only have a few chances to succeed, so there is also the problems with that, not everyone might be able to make it to the top off the bat, could be troublesome."

Folding his arms, Gado would shrug at Eli's comment.

"Children of high promise. People with special skills paring up and creating something out of the ordinary in terms of offspring, LEGACIES. To determine if someone is one, well.....adults might say that won't make you any more special than anyone else if it comes down to skill, but only the person themselves would know if that's the case. If it really boils down to me, I'd like to think I am. Maybe you are too, the average looking is the people I worry about the most. You have a bit of a dirt smell....but its ....."

Gado sniffs in Eli's direction again.

"Refined? Not sure.."

Elias' eyes widened as Gado began to sniff in his direction. This was soo strange to him since he wasn't really use to Kurogane members and how they use their keen senses. As he did this, he'd wonder if sniffing was how Praise got around during their training session. He'd think this because he knew she couldn't see, he wasn't speaking the entire time so hearing couldn't be it, he doesnt imagine that he was close enough to taste. neither. " Yea bruh... I'd say you're really SPECIAL. I mean who does that bruh?!" He'd then start sniffing himself. "And i smell fine, dude." Elias didn't really understand that the dirt that Gado was smelling was possibly his detection of Eli's earth affinity. Granted he'd be unfamiliar with senses that strong, especially since he hadn't used earth release all that much today . " I got it! Imma call you, Boner! Yea man you're definitely a Boner. So can you make more of them things? whats your special skills?"

"I said dirt, I didn't say that you stunk or anything. It could be a million reasons why you smell like that, could be because of the area in itself. I only arrived here about an hour ago, so don't take offense to what I just said. I don't go around hurting peoples feelings..."

At the very least, Gado wanted to avoid any sort of negative connotation with people that lived here. If Gado was to search for his friend in peace, the least he could do was avoid making enemies along the way.

"Boner? No, that's pretty lewd to be calling me that. Sure, maybe good guess... it's bone. But look at the texture, is that all there is to it?"

It was psionic calllite, but Gado wasn't sure if the man knew the difference anyway.

"I started making a few things, but I won't hear the end of it if I made something and gave it away for free. I guess the team needs the funds, even more now that there is only two of us. "

Elias laughed at the man's reaction to the nickname he gave him. He also found it amusing how polite he is for a man ready for confrontation." What you mean you don't go around hurting people's feelings? You gotta! Keeps people from getting soft. Ya see , kids use to pick on me all the time as a git. They use to call me , The Failed Legacy or The Failure for short. So ya know what my pops taught me ?" He'd wait a few moments as if he was actually waiting for a response, when he'd just answer his own question. " Pops taught me to roost der asses. Let em know you can pop off. Let em know you wild matara" He'd playfully shove Gado and then start squirming like a wild child on the ground, shaking his head viciously and he rises back to his feet. Once one he got back onto his feet he would go on to "ju ju'ing on that beat" while speaking to Gado. " Life too short to not clap back, Bones! By the way i just felt that armor on the push there. Feels the same to me, whats it made of?" He'd then "hit the folks dont stop..dont stop".

" Dat armor look dope though, but if you really can make mad bones like you say you can den im down to do some business. I don't really got much on me dis matara is a real certified G. Im gettin some mad cool ideas. N if u lookin for special folks ill introduce ya to dis baddie i kno. She mah teammate, she young but she thick." As he grows more excited about this idea his street lingo starts coming forth.

"Instead of talking, people usually just spar to see whose on top or whatnot. That's how some kids in dipu deal with the issues that they might have with one another, so I guess you can say that it's one of the more convenient problem solvers. But like I was saying, it's made of bone and its made of something else. But tell you what, it's a big secret.......... but if you can beat me in a spar, i'll tell you what it's made of. "

Gado was risking alot, but he still felt it was a good idea to gauge his strength against other genin from different places.

"If I win, i guess you tell me a secret and we can meet your friends after. "

Clapping and touching his head, Gado took a rather passive stance.

For a moment Gado made Eli think of a world where they just through hands instead of talking a lot. What a savage world that would be. Maybe that's why his mother's family line had a history of violence. He'd look at Gado take his stance and he'd chuckle. " Bro that's such a silly stance to take. What style is that? Either way fam i accept your challenge, ya made the stakes interesting enough. But we can't fight here though, people will think you're attacking me. come, follow me." He'd lead Gado back to his training grounds from earlier. After standing about 20ft away, he'd turn towards gado and shrug. He'd then proceed to lean with it and rock with it at C-rank speeds, signaling for Gado to make his first move.

Gado followed behind, agreeing with the notion.

"No one else should get hurt and caught up in what we are doing, so it's a good call on your part. Sorry....besides... i'm trying to be a doctor... it's against policy to cause unwanted injuries."

After arriving in the section they were supposed to be, Gado did a few hand signs at B rank speeds for the sake of blocking vision. He didn't know what or how good Eli was, or what he can do. However, the one Thing Gado did attempt to do was stun the genin by taking his vision away. After doing so, with the mist appearing and covering about 40 feet, Gado would lock in on Eli's brainwaves and rush forward about 15 feet before keeping track of his opponent's brain pattern and pulling out his own spine.

Being within 15 feet after his mad dash through the use of his Kaguya style, Gado attempted to capture the kid with his bone spine technique as he prepared something else from within his armor.

Elias continued dancing while Gado formed his hand seals. The dancing helped Elias calm his nerves a bit, especially since he offered Gado the first move. He hadn't the slightest clue as to how his opponent would start so it did come as a bit of a surprise when Gado would start off with a concealment based technique. A big smile came across his face as he thought of Kotone and how she likes to start her matches. Seems like she isn't the only one with the bright idea of taking away a target's vision. Because of his familiarity with this tactic , he knew at the very least that his opponent probably couldn't see either. At least not in the traditional sense; Gado must be using some different sort of sensing. Maybe it was by smell like he showed before. Either way, it was a calculated error on Gado's part to think that the lack of vision would deter Eli's ability to avoid capture.

With his earth born passive he'd know exactly where Gado was. Even so, Elias did give him the first move . So while he could've tried to stop Gado on his way over, he'd let him get within 15ft and do his move. From Eli's perspective he could hear a whole bunch of bone breaking and cracking which would only creep him out a bit. It wasn't long after that he would feel an alignment of bones start to wrap around his body. Eli would only giggle at the opportunity to learn about his opponent's tactic . He wouldn't have to worry soo much since Gado didn't really go for the slash so while his body was getting wrapped up, he'd turn the entire spinal cord into digital code. Once it became digitized and stored away he would point his palm in Gado's direction and send a paw print flying towards him at A-rank speeds, to push him back far with S-rank force. This would be interesting for Eli to witness, since his paw prints had no smell, sound, and supposedly they both couldn't see. " I think you're going easy on me , yea?"

With the feeling of the bone like spinal cord whip practically disappearing from his grasp, the act in itself would have alerted Gado to the strange tactic that this houdini ninja had going for them. Making things disappear like that could be a tough thing to deal with if all Gado wanted to do was to capture the man at first. But with this turn of events, all that meant was that Gado had to switch some things around. Gado knew nothing of Eli's sensory, still thinking that the young man was still being deterred by the smog.

With the pawprint being sent out at Gado, he knew of the activity due to the brain patterns he was receiving from Eli, but what really saved him was the misjudgment of how far the paws were aiming at him.

"Fine, i'll turn it up a bit."

Ejecting a bone sword from his hand as he moved clocer to be within 2 feet of Eli, Gado would then swing down at Eli with a bone hilt sword to inflict C rank life release physical damage at B rank speeds to Eli's midsection

Elias found it weird that after releasing his paw-print that Gado didn't go flying. It was at that moment that he realized that his move couldn't reach. Upon his realization he'd slap his forehead and laugh; then jump in shock as he realized that the sound of the smacking might give away his position. Much like he figured, Gado started making his way towards him, and so he decided to just take a more gutsy approach to the incoming attacker. He'd play along, moving slowly to determine how well , Gado can track him. To his suspicion it was probably not by sound, it was unlikely that he'd possess such acute senses at his rank to hear Elias' movements. Yet he was still coming and so Elias would begin to flow chakra into his hand away until sparks began to fly from it. Even with clear vision these sparks wouldn't draw much attention unless one was staring at him looking for small details, but with this hidden mist technique his opponent wouldn't see a thing.

Finally once his opponent came into range he would know, and in a gutsy gamble he'd allow himself to take the full hit . It was risky, one mishap and Elias would be down on his luck but to his pleasure things would work as planned. As Gado's weapon came slashing down on his mid section, he'd lower his upper body into a bow; following the momentum as if he was about to drop. To Gado's misfortune, his upper body would straighten back up as he took a horse- stance position with his arms lowered towards his inner thigh. At that moment his eyes would widen and he would scream something he saw on TV while sticking his tongue out, " C'MMMMOOOOOOOONNNNNNNN!" Once he shouted that he would shift the ground under himself and Gado at S-rank speeds to clash the two into each other. Gado's chest would collide with the spark hammer in his hand. "Signature Move: SPARK HAMMER BLITZ!"

If successful he'd deal C-rank lightning release chakra damage to Gado. If Gado cannot handle C-rank chakra damage then the battle is over but no death occurs, just mild damage.

With the ground suddenly being shifted and the ground being shifted as he was punched in the stomach, Gado didn't really have much of a response to it. He was going to actually let it happen since he thought he could handle whatever the man could dish out. However, much to Gado' miscalculation, he forgot to put the added resistance to the armor and ended up getting punched in the stomach pretty hard and breaking through, hitting Gado with the spark hammer and the electric strike going through Gado like a shock of lightning to his senses.

"First blood huh? *cough* Alright......I didn't want to do this Eli..."

It was painful, more painful than he could possibly imagine. However, Gado wasn't going to give up too easily, even with him spitting out blood quite a bit from taking that lightning damage head-on. It wa at times like this that he cursed his vulnerability. His armor broke, But Gado immediately repaired it and even added an extra resistance to it by paying an A rank amount of Psionic Chakra. He learned his lesson the first time, and now, Eli would soon learn his. Being so close in proximity still, Eli might of not even guessed that Gado could do something after taking considerable damage.

However, Eli opted out for the physical contact strike when even being a bit far away could have done the trick. Gado took advantage of this with 6 long bones appearing from his body and armor, all at once. Gado focused on three particular spots, both of the thighs of each leg that Eli had, and even the shoulder with the fist that Eli tried to hit him with. Gado knew nothing of the lodestone armor, but what he was trying to do was give a focused pierce in a particular spot since they all came as a unified strike.

Each bone from the dance of the larch was 10 feet long as they ignited from Gado's body instantaneously at B rank speeds without warning, with Gado trying to do damage but avoid vital spots. With each spot, a unified strike of two bones would deal a total of B rank life release physical to that spot.

"You're strong, but this might be it Mr. Earthbender."

-Took C rank lightning damage, Cant be soaking those like that.
-Went through and damaged the armor a bit, recast dance armor to repair and paid A rank psionic to add resistance.
- Dance of the larch has no telling points, all ignited a B rank speeds. I figured since its instantaneous, each focus point can be treated as a unified strike if i had the bones to spare, with that section being hit all at once.

His attack was a success! His spark hammer blitz had met its mark, blowing off Gado's armor in epic fashion. A big smile would come across Eli's face as he'd keep his hand on Gado's chest. He was expecting Gado to fall any minute now so that he could escort Gado to the hospital and then later brag about the epic win. But his plans immediately would have to change the moment he heard Gado's voice. A terrifying expression came across Eli's face as his opponent's voice would send shivers down his spine. In a calm and calculative manner, Gado spoke to Elias, but his shock would make it difficult for him to pay attention to the indicated retaliation in his opponent's voice.

"But..how? I feel him, my hand is right here, i hit him right in the chest, how the hell is he still?" He'd hear Gado, spit something out of his mouth which he could only assume is blood. Not even a minute after he'd hear the sound of bones breaking and reforming as Gado repaired his armor. This only left Eli to believe that his opponent was about to retaliate in a big way. Although, this may be a poor moment of judgement for Eli, his panic had left him to utilize the contact that he already establish with Gado to attempt to his him with a spark hammer again. This only made matters worst for Eli, as his eyes flew open at the notice that his opponent didnt even make a sound. It was as if his second attempt at spark hammer worked less than his first attempt. This was bad and not even a moment later, he would feel the contact of six bones hitting three different points in his body. As an immediate reaction to the contact, he'd use the hand on Gado's chest to release his paw-print to send Gado flying back with S-rank force.

At that moment, Elias would regain himself through a very strange child like giggle. The sound of which was like tickling a six year old. The mist technique covering the field would prevent Elias from knowing just how fortunate he really was. See, his opponent made a smart assessment to hit him with 6 bones with Life release elemental properties. Each bone would have dealt C-rank life release damage, and his opponent figured that if one strike wouldnt do the trick, then maybe multiple strikes in the same area would. Despite how smart it was that was not how Lodestone Armor worked. Being as each strike was still C-rank damage, regardless of hitting the same three areas simultaneously it would still be 6 seperate C-rank strikes total a greater amount of damage. Normally, that would take out any defense with stacking damage, but Lodestone armor simply brushes off C-rank damage allowing Elias to tank the counter attempt. This would render the damage that couldve been done to Elias and his armor to null.

As Gado flies back with S-rank force, Elias would bring forth a wall behind him. Upon hitting that wall with S-rank force, Gado would take S-rank physical damage, and to his "O'surprise" upon crashing into the lodestone wall, six Lodestone shards would come racing at him at A-rank speeds to deal 6 counts of A-rank earth release damage. Of course if Gado couldn't handle the barrage of attacks he'd only pass out for a few minutes. But if he could it would leave the opportunity for him to re-strategize his approach. " Earth bender huh? How you figure; I hit you with a lightning move."

Gado was sent flying back with S rank force due to being so close to Eli, and the nullification of the second attempt of Eli using his chakra in order to set up the lighting strike in order to hit Gado again. However, much to the surprise of Eli, it didn't work on Gado this time. Nothing happened as electricity was coursing around his armor. Gado was still sent back with that amount of force from the pawprint, but with the tracking of the brain activity, he sill knew where Eli was.

As Gado slid back one foot, he would regain his composure by doing another dance since it came with the grace of regaining his balance depending on the technique he did. Gado only went back one foot from Eli as the younger male was trying to set up the wall, with Gado doing dance of the willow at b rank speeds and stretching out another 10 foot of bone that this time, did C rank life physical damage that had defense piercing. These six attacks were aimed at all sections of the body, the thighs, arms, and stomach. Since he could see gado and was trying to figure that he would of slid back, he might not have anticipated that Gado wouldn't have continued to slide and complete the combo by crashing into the wall.

With this suprise attack in the hidden mist smog, not only would Eli not see it coming, but he was hoping that this time that it would work.

"Just a guess.....because you moved me somehow."

Gado said after in regards to the earth bending comment.

- two rulings so far, since paws dont do ragdoll, any air movement and balancing can regain footing. I can get a balancing equal to a dance with my dances as long as i do the tai. So by popping willow i auto get C rank balancing, so i only went back a foot. You might be anticipating the wall and etc and with the sliding since it doesn't do knockback and the original conception is that id slide back and crash into the wall, you are kinda normalizing my movement vibrations as something thats supposed to happen, probably. The immediate dance was met with willow to 6 spots of your body to do c rank life physical with defense piercing at B rank speeds.

Once again Gado finds a way to survive. Somehow despite the paw-prints generating S-rank force, Gado was capable of recomposing himself with a lesser balancing technique to only be moved one foot away and attempt another dance. This in itself, started to make Elias a bit annoyed making it seems like the push training that the Kaironokuma undergo every week where literal shit. He will later have to re-evaluate that whole fighting style when he gets the chance but for now, his opponent only moved one foot and stop. Despite what his opponent may had hoped he is capable of tracking up to S-rank speeds on the ground, so the immediate stop in front of him to use a dance at B-rank speed would be picked up before Gado even knew how he was going to retaliate.

The possible miscalculation may have been from Gado believing that Eli was using some form of vibration sensory, when in actuality his sensory was unique to him in a way that can't just be duplicated. His sensory was better described as Earth sensory which would be a weaker form of spatial sensory; allowing him to pick up and understand movements on the ground. Especially, abrupt stops. So when Gado manage to halt himself only a foot away, Eli having only a few moments ago experienced exactly what his opponent does at close range would avoid it happening twice. Since he had more than one way of making Gado move.

Using his spatial shift he'd send Gado slamming at S-rank speeds against the wall that he was supposed to in the first place. Of course through this method Gado wouldn't hit the wall hard enough to cause anything to happen to it, but at least there would be distance. Especially since he would change his positioning for the first time since this match started by shifting himself 20ft to the left of Gado at S-rank speeds. Elias' annoyance at a few of his techniques not working like they're supposed to wouldn't be seen but can maybe be felt if Gado had that capacity of mind reading. " Ya know....that's like the second time I've used push, and you ate two of my finishing moves, on top of that you keep making and breaking your bones like a maniac. Clearly you're a man that feels no pain or else you would be out like a light by now. But I'll tell you what.. I'm getting low, I can tell that I'm almost out of chakra... One final clash.... I know you can find me somehow.. Find me and come hit me with your best move!" Elias would weave hand seals and perform Lodestone Arena just in case Gado's armor was some sort of metal. Once performed he would just stand there waiting for Gado's final move with his arms stretched out. " Whatchu got? C'mon."

For once, Gado actually thought that he managed to get the man. However, it seemed that as soon as he stopped, he was spacial shifted again. That method of Moving Gado around was a bit of a pain in the ass, he didn't know what to do to protect himself against being moved. However, he could protect himself against being hurt, and it would have had to be enough for the time being. Being shifted 20 feet to the left in the shroud of smog made him wonder if the hidden mist jutsu was doing it's job? Maybe this meant that Gado needed to change something about himself to take things more seriously.

"Well....... i don't necessarily think that's going to matter anyway. I take you seriously, believe me, I do, but not fighting. Saving lives is.... more meaningful, so my lazy approach to this might annoy you a bit. For that, I apologize. But you gave me a bit of a new realization, maybe I should? You might just be one of the strongest genin I know, I don't think even a chunin can do what you can do. So for this, you have my respect."

Did he want to finish this? That's fine, they can finish this.

"You win, i'll get rid of the smog."

Performing the jutsu again, Gado got rid of the hidden mist.

Seeing everything being digitized didn't make much sense for Gado, but he figured it was what made Eli special in general. He was able to do things in such a way that made the other genin seem weak in comparison, it would be bad luck to have to fight someone like that in the future.

"To be honest, I'm a Kurogane but I never even transformed before. There is actually a lot about me that you don't know. But for starters, i'll make good on my promise. This is what makes me special... my bone is made of Psionic Calcite, i was born with it. Basically, psionic energy is infused in it. I'm not too sure what that means though, maybe it can resist mental stuff? Never tried..."

Thinking again, Gado paused for a moment.

"Oh, I just realized. No clue what happens after I make these bones, but I guess I could just pawn them, but with how hard they are and whatnot, it might be a bit of a waste if I can't get anything good.
