Arrival: A New Life

Ka would arrive in a small village just after the sun would set over the horizon, watching as the street lights would illuminate the streets below them. The inhabitants of the village going on with their night life as he wandered into a convenience store, he was in need of purchasing some hair dye so that he would not be as recognizable as he was before. There wasn't any hassle of course as he made his purchase as it was more then obvious that he was packin' some serious heat. His hip jangled as his swords bounced off his hip, their sheathes bouncing off the massive blade, yeah people should know that he isn't meant to be messed around with while he was around. So he would make his way towards the closest Inn, in hopes to get some time to alter his appearance as well as resting his body for his next journey towards the main village within this lawless country. The sounds of carnal activities coming from the rooms as he moved past the individual doors made Ka realize exactly how cheap and easy it was for him to use a room for a couple of hours, at least Ka didn't have to worry about people overhearing him or peeking into his room.

Once in his room Ka would undress from the clothes he had left wearing back in Dipugakure, and would shower off the dirt and sand that was clinging to his body. Thank the gods he didn't have sweat glands or anything that would give him body odour, because he was certain that he would be smelling pretty ripe around this time. While showering Ka couldn't help but think about the choices he had made, and how they had brought him to this disease ridden motel. To be perfectly honest, Ka didn't regret a single moment.... Well other then trying to make things work out with his team a bit more. After the shower Ka had decided to start dying his hair, choosing to go with a darker colour like black so that he could blend into other areas a bit better. As he let the dye do it magic on his hair Ka would pull out a stack of papers from his bag and begin writing his own "Declaration of Independence" to the world, announcing he was now available for hire. "It's going to be a good day" He said pleased with his work, and ready for whatever tasks would be brought before him.

A tall cloaked man would walk into the run down hotel, as part of the deal he had with the own of this not so fine establishment anytime someone new and young arrives their information was relayed back to him. This time it was a boy seemingly on the run, or undercover otherwise what else would he be doing in the Land of Madness. Ultimately it didn't matter what he was up to, he would be a fine specimen to take back to Tellarossa-sama. The cloaked individual would find his way through the building and end up stopping right outside the door where he knew his target was. He had no idea who the boy was or what he could do but it was unimportant he was the strongest of Telarossa-sama's elite guard and thus there would be no way he would be failing such an easy assignment. He would proceed to knock on the door, which thankfully had no peep hole so upon being prompted the boy would have to open the door to see who it was. "Room Service." Would be the reply if prompted with the individual cracking his neck hopefully this could be done quickly so he can move on to another target. He had to deliver 20 juvenile samples, and 10 adult samples this would make his 17th, just 3 more to go and he could begin his adult quota. Truthfully he was looking forward to those, he didn't need them to be alive unlike the juvenile ones and it was much easier for him to kill things than to kidnap them.

Ka had just finished washing the dye out of his freshly cut hair when he heard a knock on his door followed by a voice stating they were room service, funny he hadn't ordered anything nor was he going to be in the room for much longer then he was right now, maybe less then an hour. So he would make his way towards the door, listening for any clue on if this person was who they said they were. Then again he could just completely ignore the person all together and get himself out of there, which did seem to be the best plan. So he would stop moving a few feet away from the door and start getting himself dressed, he didn't need some room attendant bothering him right now. "Your not needed right now. Come back in an hour" He said as he put on his new cloak and boots, you'd think even a flea bag motel like this would at least inform their staff on check out times.

The cloaked individual would take a step back and slide into a better stance before leaping forward and hitting the door having ascertained that his target was at least in it's path if not in directly front of it. The door would be knocked off it's hinges and would hurtle toward's Ka's body at Vacuum Release speeds with the individual walking into the room calmly trying to take advantage of the momentary shock which probably would have come from suddenly being attacked. "It doesn't matter if you want it or not trash. Now then, it would save you a lot of pain if you simply come with me quietly. Or you can resist but it will only end up in me beating you to near death, resistance is futile. By the way what is your name perhaps if your on the list I'll try to make the beat-down as quick as possible so as not to prolong you pain, should you resist that is." he would say the cloak and hook obscuring his features but overall he maintained his bored tone.

Shock is too strong of a word for Ka in this situation, he was half expecting someone to burst through his doo.... Oh right the door flying at Ka really fast, not so fast that he couldn't see the makeshift coming at him, but too fast to really do anything about it coming towards him. Well maybe there were a couple things hr could have done about it, but for the time being he wanted to know more about his attacker. So he would simply plant his feet to the floor, making his frame a bit more stable as the door would crash into his body. "Really? You have no idea who I am?" Ka said genuinely surprised that his attacker was not with the ASN, hunting him down in order to take him back to Dipu. "I'd prefer not to fight right now......" He said sitting back on the bed within his room. "So tell me why you require the services of the great Ka Jiko?"

The cloaked individual would stare at the trash in front of him but when he heard the trash's name things changed now he was worth more than simply an experiment for Telarossa-sama but instead the Goddess herself had told all of her Knights to seek out those with the potential for Nen, and the Jiko clan was one of them. "A Jiko, correction. You might not be the trash I took you as, instead of merely dragging you to my master I'll offer you something. What do you seek, so far away from your homeland? Power? Freedom? Such things will be made available to you if you join Pandora, we are in need of the services of a Jiko, it is fortunate that you were born one otherwise you would be added to the collection of those expendable captives." The man said trying to hook Ka into accepting by expanding upon what he meant.

"As I can see you are what, around a genin's age. So it is easy to see that you might have just run away no jonin in sight to come rescue you. Yet you must have a reason to flee, would you prefer to live in fear of hunter-nin pursuing you for the rest of your life or have a chance to be free of that. Free from the stifling rules of the shinobi and the fearful paranoia of a missing nin all the while gaining power from something as simple as this." he said pulling out a vial of some sort of liquid and holding it out to his side. "Or once again I could reiterate, you can refuse however it is not in your best interest to do so."

"You don't need to sell me on how important members of my clan are, let alone someone like myself. As to what your offering me those are inconsequential to what I desire, all I want to do is change the world" Ka would say as he put on a pair of black cargo shorts and his new boots, this guy was hard up on trying to convince him to join up with Pandora. Which he would be lying if the thought of more power didn't tip the scales a bit, but he wasn't completely sold on the matter yet. "Don't get me wrong your offer is tempting, I just want to know more about the people I'm getting into bed with" Could he really end up completing his personal tasks with this group, could he actually achieve greatness with them? "Let's go get a drink, your can  continue with your sales pitch while I find something to wash down whatever it is you got there" Ka would say as he got the rest of his new ensemble on his body, then would pick up his swords and duffle bag before walking towards the figure and the door. "That is if you don't plan on knocking me out to save time"

"What pray tell do you think Pandora does? We are changing the world on a daily basis, starting first with our faction and eventually when the Goddess wills it the entire world." The man said seeing that the kid had some goals, perhaps that was why he left his homeland. Still now that he confirmed that he was a Jiko the combat options were now much more than he had previously in regards to bringing him in. "We can get a drink, however if you try to run now that I know your a Jiko I can mangle all of your limbs without worrying about you dying from blood loss." the man said stepping back out of the apartment while gesturing for Ka to walk in front of him.

Ka would let out a laugh as his new escort would once again threaten him if he tried to run, it was kind of adorable how much this guy wanted him to come back to Pandora willingly. "I told you before, I don't intend of pissing you off. Just looking explore the free life before swapping one set of chains for another. Besides it will only be a quick drink before we should get moving, pretty sure the ASN will be on their way to find me pretty soon" He said leaving the motel in his new outfit that Jasmine had created for him, his new sword almost touching the ground while hanging off his back along with his umbrella. "Actually, do you mind leading the way? I don't know the area well, and I'm guessing you know the better place to get a drink. Again you don't have to worry about me running off, I'll be sticking by you until we get to your superiors" Ka said slowing down his pace as he walked through the streets so that he was walking beside the man tasked with bringing him back.

The cloaked man would scoff, didn't he realize he was getting an opportunity of a lifetime, unlike the other trash Telarossa-sama had instructed him to test something on a Jiko he encountered. Which mean three things, either he wasn't going to be dissected like the others, he was going to be dissected once whatever he drank failed to work, and finally he was going to be dissected once whatever he drank did in fact work. It was an experimental curse mark that Telarossa-sama had been working with, something that would allow one to be changed with the gift of the Goddess yet not requiring travelling to the temple first. He himself had gotten his curse mark the normal way but was eager to see exactly how it would work, he would even get to try the special container Telarossa-sama had gifted in just in case he did stumble upon a Psionic User or a Jiko. "Very well, follow me." He would say before walking down to the ground floor and then outside the run down village to a nearby bar. He would place a small sack of Xel and then turn to Ka while making a gesture. "Order what you want. The longer you stall, the more impatient I get, ask your questions." he said, knowing that now that they were at the bar his subordinates should be close by they always hung around this particular bar so it was only a matter of time before he spotted one of them.

The two would enter the shack, which seemed to be pretty empty for the most part. One drunk half asleep at a table, while another three buffoons were sitting at another table bragging about the amounts of women they have slept with. So for the most part Ka could tell there wouldn't be many issues with antone trying to start a fight, well unless his escort got impatient and decided to just knock Ka out. "Three shots of the hardest thing you got" He would say to the bartender who would then place three shot glasses out filled with an almost toxic looking concoction. Ka would hand one of the glasses to his escort before taking one of the other shots for himself. "The main thing I want to ask is, what is your leader like?" A decent question open to interpretation, Ka was just curious how this man thought of his own Faction leader, the self proclaimed God Queen of Pandora.

"Leader? I do not understand, if you my leader the one who will want me to capture you alive, then your talking about Telarossa-sama. He is brilliant, a pioneer of genetic modification and technological innovation, and the brightest mind within Pandora." The man would say pushing the drink back to Ka while placing the corked vial on the table. "Considering he is immortal not only does he have all the time in the world to invent new things but he spends his limitless time constantly pushing the limits of jutsu theory, no matter how obscure, no matter how forbidden, no matter the price. All of which for the betterment of Pandora." He said, going into a rant and completely missing the fact that Ka was asking for information of the Goddess Queen. It was because the Goddess Queen wasn't a leader no, she was their deity a mere leader, was something she was not especially not after she had taken on the Shinigami and emerged victorious from it. "Either way, coming under Telarossa-sama's service is far better than being a missing-nin. Not only will you have work but freedom to travel and operate in different lands, though of course considering what you are, you will be examined thoroughly. Is that all, will you drink this and so we can be on our way."

Ka would shrug as the man refused the drink offered to him, and looked at the capped vial placed on the table. Seemed that the man misunderstood the question he had asked, but Ka was not disappointed in hearing about this Tellarossa. Sounds like an accomplished individual to be a pioneer in such fascinating fields of science, ones that Ka himself was interested in, so perhaps it was a good idea to go along after all. "Well then, No time like the present to meet this guy you're so fond of" Ka would say picking up the vial off the table and was about to drink it's contents, when he would look at the man standing before him. "Pretty sure this is going to knock me out, isn't it?" He would ask, but without waiting for a reply Ka would tip the liquid into his mouth. It was gross of course, however not as disgusting as the swill the bartender was serving. Then again Ka really couldn't complain, since he couldn't get drunk off of it anyways.

The man would watch Ka drink the liquid and instead of answering his question he would just wait it was disgusting yes and after a shudder of the body Ka would become limp but before he could slide off the chair the man would unseal a barrel like container with seals around it from a scroll, uncap it and pick up Ka before stuffing him inside. He would then close it once more and it would glow faintly before he would heft the barrel with Ka still inside up and over his shoulder. The Vial contained the experimental Sorcerer's Seal, the container was to allow him to survive the change while protecting his body from external influence while he was being changed into something else. Sure when he regained consciousness not only would he mindly brainwashed into continuing to Telarossa's location it would have a delayed trigger before his body was fully changed into that of a Sorcerer. He would wait a while waiting for his subordinates to arrive while sitting at the bar. It was only a matter of time before they did.

-6 Hour Time Skip-

He was getting impatient, they were wasting his time and no where to be found and the moment he would get up to leave he would hear their voices in the distance causing him to frown and turn to their approaching voices. Fucking Trash, I have been waiting for six hours. Inside, is a delivery for Telarossa-sama, a Jiko male. I shouldn't have to stress the importance of him arriving into Pandora leave wait until tomorrow, the process is delicate and excessive movement will lower his chances of living through the transformation. Tomorrow afternoon, would be best, 24 hours would be enough time to being moving. Take it straight to him, take the usual path. I have other missions to get to but I shall complete them and I will meet you near the Gorge of Beginnings. He said to attract their attention and handing the container to the first to arrive.

After gathering information from Orion’s minion about their new mission, Melinda had led the Elite Guard to the small village situated in the south west of the Land of Madness. Even though the lackey had advised them that this mission was extremely important, she couldn’t help but devise some means of pissing Orion off. Instead of taking the normal route from Jikogakure to the Land of Madness, Melinda had purposely taken the route which led through Mt. Jurassic which was exactly why they had arrived so late. Oh course the others were bitching about why they had taken the longest route to get here but she didn’t care about whatever they had to say, they were nothing but weaklings anyways. Walking alongside her life partner a sly grin would appear on her lips the moment Orion had come to greet them.

“Six hours? I’m pretty sure we left out immediately after receiving our orders. Maybe you should use someone competent the next time. Assuming you’ll be in charge that long.” The green eyed woman said before climbing on to the barrel so that she could have a seat. Both her and her partner wore a cloak that covered their bodies entirely. The only things that were visable were her bright green eyes peering from under the hoodie. Her partner, who was about 7 feet tall, had a giant naginata strapped to his back and his crimson eyes peering from under his hoodie. “Why are we in such a hurry anyway? Is this ASN scum someone important? ”

A shadow momentarily blocked out the moon as Kendall quietly landed on a nearby light pole. "Heheh. Don't be like that Melinda. Its an offering to Telarossa-sama. You know if it is trash, if you fail then Telarossa will be the one angry. Now do you want that?" Kendall would cock his head toward Orion. He would jump down and attempt to romantically lean against Orion. Do you want me to blow this little motherfucker to smithereens for her insolence my dear Orion?" he would ask mockingly.

The robbed man entered the scene with a slow and eerie silence. Not bothering to say a word to any of those already there, nor explain his lateness. His face, much like every other part of his body, hidden away beneath the darkness of the cloak, making identifying him or describing what you'd be seeing next to impossible. Stood furthest from everyone, he continued on his vowel of silence, not uttering a word, nor making a sound. In fact, he didn't even attempt to acknowledge anyone else's presence. This was a job, once that was done, so was he. That's how Ananse was, mostly kept to himself, did his own thing. The rest of the group held more then enough of a personality to make up for his lack of one. Melinda was cocky, always wanted to be the boss and thought he was better than everyone, but rarely delivered on his loud bark. Kendall was just simply annoying, and strangely a total contradiction to herself in every way. Orion...well he was just a bit of an ass. At least these were his opinions of everyone, opinions he kept to himself.

"Of course a empty brained brute like you wouldn't understand our Master's goals. Oi, back off of my man, you contradiction!" Another cloaked figure would enter last quickly trying to squeeze herself between Kendall and Orion. What was under the cloak who knew but other than the high-pitched feminine voice and the slim waist and curves the cloak revealed she had to be female. If the first speaker lashed out as she was prone to she would try and hide behind Orion while snickering. "Besides, wouldn't want me to tell the boss why we are actually late now would we you brute." she would quickly whisper it but she knew the other individual wasn't hard of hearing. Blackmail was her kunai and she wielded it expertly.

The cloaked man would pull away from both of them while fixing the one sitting on the barrel with a harsh glare. "Your welcome to try and take leadership from me yet again. Perhaps you'll actually last more than five minutes this time. Until then, you do not question my orders trash. You obey them, as Tellarossa-sama intended." Orion would look all of them over before letting out a scoff, how unfortunate that he just had to be surrounded by wastes of space on a daily basis if not for Tellarossa-sama he would have killed them all already for aggravating him so much. They weren't incompetent sure but their personalities and habits were not befitting of the extentions of Tellarossa-sama's will that those Knights loyal to him should be. "Ensure you are not followed and if you are make sure they won't be following you ever again." he said before walking away at a brisk pace, he had more important things to do than to waste time with trash like them. Like for instance kill the ASN trash who had been covertly listening in on their conversation.

It was funny how these people had forgotten that she was once the leader of this steaming pile of Kirin shit that was considered a team and that she was technically the strongest, if you excluded Orion of course, but she would just leave them all to time. She’ll be the one to collect their bodies after they have their insignificant and meaningless lives snuffed out by whosoever wants this Jiko trash back, then we’ll see who’ll have the last laugh then. “As you wish, Orion-sama.” She said with a rather flat tone as she hoped off the top of the barrel. He too would get what was coming to him, so there was no need to get worked up about his comments, soon he’ll be the one stuck with the team of retards. “Let’s go Miguel-kun and take that thing with you, unless any of you wants to baby sit it?” She said turning to face the others, waiting for them to answer, why she had asked this question was beyond her as they all were as reliable as a chocolate teapot.

"Who are you calling a contradiction you dirty little whore! Don't make me ruin that smelly pussy of yours with a few feathers! Then again, it might just be an improvement," snapped Kendall before pouting when Orion pulled away. Kendall smirked and stuck his tongue out at Mavis before taking to the sky. "Not it! Carrying useless cargo is not my style," he would say before disappearing into the night.

These people were just too much to handle. Much like the rest, he would leave, walking out to go and do his job like the rest of them, not even bothering to offer as much as a glance towards the barrel. Kendall wasn't wrong for once, it really is useless cargo, it will do nothing besides make it harder and despite knowing the others had ego's which far out way their strength, Ananse was by no count the strongest. So why disadvantage himself further, let one of the cocky fuckers take the tub and be done with it. Just as he had entered, he'd walk back out the door to his next destination without saying so much as a word. He had insects to catch in his web, and time was being wasted as they stood here. THe pursuit was no doubt about to start, as if this kid was some kind of prodigy or something. Even now, Ananse didn't know why so much fuss was being made about some genin failure, but who was he to question a job.

"Hmph, carrying that thing will ruin my delicate figure." Mavis said replying to Kendall's gesture with the one fingered salute. She would walk away just like the rest lingering only a bit longer to stare at Orion's retreating posterior before skipping away, she thought about going to a weapon store or something she knew her honeypot was craving something and it was only a matter of time before she would start to bitch about her cravings.

“Tsk of course. Useless shits.” Melinda growled. Miguel would simply shake his head before picking up the barrel that housed the trash inside. “The quicker we get this barrel of garbage back to Jikogakure the better.” She said signaling to Miguel that it was time for them to move. With a nod, he and his sister would move out of the area.

Summer wasn't expecting command, not like this. She had been thinking about it for so long now but she knew that she couldn't keep fretting like she had been. She was stronger than that, she wasn't going to break simply because she was leading. Opening her eye she reached up and adjusted the forehead protector that covered her other eye. She then got to her feet, looked over everyone else to make sure they were fine before getting off the boat and onto the docks. She scanned around and tracked with her sensory sphere, making sure there was nothing hiding nearby. She turned to the rest and nodded to them before waving them onwards and Jazz up to her side. "I want to apologise, Jazz. Just... Wasn't expecting command or something so important to be placed upon me. I understand the reasons entirely but I think it is only just sinking in. Being a chunin is almost scary. I still feel like a little girl and yet I've killed. I have blood on my hands and now I have multiple lives in them." She clenched her hands and nodded. "I won't let them down though."

With that she waved them on and started to walk into the town. They had a specific meeting point in order to find the Scout they were meeting and that was where they were heading just now. Summer made sure to continue scanning around as she walked. They may have been in a port but this was still the Land of Madness and she knew for a fact that cruel people lurked in locations like this. Her memories flicked back to the person that ambushed them when they had been trying to deliver a package. She remembered the flames that had leaped towards them and she shuddered. Her eye had been lost that day. "I hope we aren't too late..." Summer muttered quietly as they neared the meeting point.

Jazz would walk her hands in their typical place at the back of her neck though she was more tense than usual, they were close Ka was somewhere among this port. She wasn't scared albeit being in the bowels of the Land of Madness were bandit, merc and missing nin congregated no order just survival of the fittest and the strong ruled supreme. No she was focused, they would get in get Ka and get the heck out of dodge as quickly as they could and haul ass back to Dipugakure where his mother was waiting. Her musings were broken when Summer spoke to her causing her to smile grimly as she understood why Summer had been thinking in such away, she needed to convince the girl reassure her in some way she couldn't afford to leave the mission in the command of someone not emotionally sound.

"It's fine besides, the fact is we are children but we are also Shinobi and that makes us adults in the eyes of the world. The fact that your thinking about everyone is only proof that you are taking this seriously." Jazz said wanting so say something else however a rat would dart out from a corner and crawl up her leg with a scroll in it's mouth. She had immediately wanted to strike it dead but she recognized the symbol of Hakagakure and would take it from the animal which would then vanish in a small puff of smoke. "Wha- Oh no... Summer we have a problem." she would hand over the scroll to her her mind reeling from the information it contained.

Scroll:

"We have to get him! Pandora?! That baka is too stupid to survive in Pandora! Worse can you imagine what they could with his genetic material, they could potentially breed a whole new Jiko clan loyal to Pandora this isn't good." Jazz said her voice in a whisper yet she was clearly agitated by the state of events, her eyes would dart over looking at Calesto and Liara hoping they could at least get a wiff of his scent or something so they could find this inn and from there find who had kidnapped her teammate.
