| This is a master list of all of the Wind Release techniques currently made on the forum which have also been updated to the current standard & are available for everyone to learn. They are arranged in sections in regards to damage type & technique type and it will always been in ascending order from the lowest rank (D) at the top to the highest rank (Z) at the bottom of the spoiler tag. *Note: These are just the official NB converted versions of canon techniques & any custom techniques created by members which are not signatured. However to avoid confusion the canon techniques will be listed, and any custom techniques which someone has not signatured will also be noted in it's own list. Chakra Based Wind Release Techniques- Ninjutsu:
Name: Wind Release: Bullet Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D Class: Offensive Range: Long
Description: The user makes hand seals before spitting out a small bullet of wind the size of an orange which flies through the air, up to 20 feet, at swift release speeds to impact an opponent to deal D-rank Wind Release damage and can knock-back incoming projectiles, such as kunai or shuriken, carrying them along their distance if they aren't backed by D-rank Strength whereas if they are they are merely halted in place. This technique is very versatile due to it's low rank allowing it to be used in various situations whether as a standalone technique or in combinations.
Name: Wind Release: Breakthrough Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Short (Distance), Mid (Knock-back)
Description: This is a relatively weak and simple technique that creates a sudden gust of wind, but its scale varies greatly depending on the user. If used by a superior shinobi, it has enough destructive power to knock a person without D-rank strength to hold themselves in place flying ten feet. The wind from the gust can blow away all things in the user's line of sight, dealing damage up to 5 feet away though when utilized with Battle Fan equivalent in size to the body (Humanoid) the scale of this technique can potentially be increased (1.5x). Additionally the user can combine this technique with shuriken with the gust of wind which moves at swift release speeds being used in sync with numerous shuriken propelling them faster by 1 Tier Level and any thrown projectiles moving at D-rank and below speeds are just consumed into wind blast and carried along making this technique more dangerous. With enhanced skill the types of thrown projectiles consumed into the wind blast can be expanded upon. Description: After making hand seals ending with Dog, the user launches sharp wind currents in the form of a net to slice their target apart at swift release speeds. The sharp winds can cover a distance of up to 5 ft, though when utilized with Battle Fan equivalent in size to the body (Humanoid) the scale of this technique can potentially be increased (1.5x). Upon impacting a target they are dealt D-rank wind release slicing damage and depending on the user's skill the size of the net (D-rank Wind Materia) is capable of encasing a target causing them to briefly halt their movements unless they wish to sustain more grievous injuries. However those with either C-rank Endurance Tiers or D-rank Chakra Tiers can ignore the added effect. Description: This technique crease a breeze across the area (40 ft radius, 80 ft diameter) which doesn't deal any damage however is potent against area concealment such as smoke bombs and fog or mist etc. This technique disperses AOE concealment techniques D-rank and below when used clearing the area at swift release speeds. Furthermore it can blow away visibility hazards D-rank & below in a 20 ft radius around the user when preformed with a Battle Fan. Description: After making hand seals ending with Dog, the user produces a stream of wind from their mouth which stretches over 20 ft. The stream is conical initially only being 1 ft wide but ending up being 5 ft wide at it's maximum distance and deals D-rank Wind Release damage to a victim. However this technique is specifically geared at countering the use of clone techniques and with increased skill it only requires contact to dispel several clones in an instant. Description: This bold move is favored by as by freely manipulating the gale brought forth after making hand seals, the user is able to focus the air current into making a slicing crescent which moves at D-rank speeds. This is capable of slicing through up to D-rank Defenses while travelling up to 20 feet before losing it's momentum, though if a Battle Fan equivalent in size to the body (Humanoid) is used it's scale can be increased (1.5). In the absence of a battle fan this technique requires a 1 P.T activation time to gather the necessary wind for it's use. Furthermore victims cut are dealt D-rank Wind Release slicing damage and with enhanced skill alongside a battle fan this technique can become more efficient & deadly. Name: Wind Release: Body Replacement Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C Class: Supplementary Range: Short
Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach using the Body Flicker Technique, the moment an attack hits. This technique differs with the normal body replacement technique in that unlike the original which is used to replace with solid objects this technique can be used to body replace with particulate (sand, dust, smoke etc) in the air allowing it's use to be much more diverse than the original technique. When used during poor visibility (sandstorms, smoke clouds, dust in the air etc) this technique excels due to the numerous area's the user can body replace to using it.

Description: The Wind Clone is similar to those clones which possess more numbers in comparison to the Shadow Clone technique yet are far weaker than the original (one-tenth strength). The individual strength of a Wind Clone is based on the user's skill though they will always have more numbers (Double) than their shadow clone counterparts. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves and resemble the user identically until they are struck hard enough to revert. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control going a max of 20 ft away before reverting to wind. While incapable of being utilized underwater or underground, the distance they can travel otherwise is increased so long as there is airflow. This is because they have a ready source of wind to retain their form, now being able to get up to 40 ft away. Like other elemental clone techniques, if the wind clones are injured enough they will revert back wind materia. Name: Wind Release: Air Clone Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C (Each Clone is comprised of 1 C-rank of Wind Materia) Class: Supplementary Range: Short-Mid
Description: This particular clone is one of the other types of clones differing from those such as the Flame or the Shadow Clone technique in that the amount produced is less than normal (half of clone limit). After making hand seals the user expels wind from their mouth to form it into one or several identical clones each retaining a portion of the user's strength & being transparent. Unlike some other clones, ones generated by this method do not disappear when struck with sufficient force, but rather release a burst of air knocking whatever is within a 2 ft radius of the clone of their feet if they lack C-rank Strength to anchor themselves in place (or aren't backed by C-rank+ Str if a thrown projectile). The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control going a max of 10 ft away before reverting to wind. While not underwater or underground, the distance they can travel is increased simply because they have a ready source of wind to retain their form now being up to 20 ft away. This clone can be considered to be a bridge between illusory & tangible clones, this is because while standing still they are usually unable to be seen with the naked eye, however while they are moving if one possesses reaction tiers or certain degrees of enhanced vision they can appear as a blur due to their transparency. Description: A Wind Release technique where the user either increases the velocity of their projectiles, or by the user clasping their hands together, wind is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale, which has enough force to knock over a person if they lack C-rank Strength. When used in conjunction with shuriken or kunai, the tools become more lethal as their speed is increased while they are treated as if they have been backed by C-rank Strength. Description: Req. Wind Release: Cast Net to be learnt. This technique works similarly to it's parent technique, by wish the user creates a multitude of extremely sharp blades of wind to attack their opponent with dealing C-rank Wind Release Slicing Damage. This technique can cover a distance of up to 5 ft, up to a distance of 10 ft, though when utilized with a Battle Fan equal to the size of or bigger than the body (Humanoid-Medium S) the scale of this technique can potentially be increased (1.5x to 2x respectively). Name: Wind Release: Great Wind Protective Wall Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C (C-rank Chakra & C-rank Wind Materia) Class: Defensive Range: Contact (Wall) Short (Distance), Mid (Knock-back)
Description: The user after making hand seals and holding the Dog hand seal before creating a wall of wind at C-rank speeds that is capable of pushing opponents away. This wall is quite compact having a radius of 2 ft (4 ft diameter), and can be manifested up to 10 ft away from the user, since Wind isn't a defensive focused element it is only capable of sustaining damage from a single C-rank technique which is neutral to Wind Release. However the true defensive ability of this technique doesn't revolve around blocking but rather knock-back as things which come in contact with it (even if it is destroyed) are sent flying backward up to 20 ft depending on their composition. However, when utilized with a Battle Fan equal to the size of or bigger than the body (Humanoid-Medium S) the scale of this technique's knock-back can potentially be increased (1.5x to 2x respectively). In the case of thrown projectiles they are sent back at Bullet Release speeds making it a good counter for barrages of projectiles. Name: Wind Release: Air Current Wild Dance Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C (C-rank Chakra & C-rank Dust Materia) Class: Supplementary Range: Mid (Distance), Short (Radius)
Description: After making hand seals ending with Dog, the user creates and controls air currents from the palms of their hands at Bullet Release speeds over a distance of 20 ft. The technique is able to easily whip up loose dust in the area which forms a pocket of hampered visibility. This is typically performed to create a controllable dust storm due to it's radius (10 ft radius, 20 ft diameter). Those within the dust storm primarily suffer from decreased visibility negating the benefits of Reaction tiers below C-rank, while those with Dojutsu or enhanced vision can suffer from eye-irritation (-1 stamina each turn) if they linger within it without receiving medical attention (both), flushing out their eyes (enhanced vision), or temporarily deactivating their dojutsu (dojutsu only) until it clears. Description: This is a highly versatile Wind Release technique which has many advanced variations being built off from the Wind Release: Bullet Technique. After kneading chakra in their stomach while preforming hand seals, the user expels a large gust of wind in the form of a bullet towards their intended target. The gust covers a distance of up to 20 ft at bullet release speeds impacting a target to deal C-rank wind release chakra based slicing damage. This allows it to cut through other offensive techniques if they are weak or neutral to wind release. This technique acts like a gateway for several other fire techniques depending on the user's skill level. Rank - Wind Release Technique Unlocked D - Spiraling Wind Ball C (Low) - Vacuum Sphere C (High) - Wind Dragon Bullet C (Elite) - Whirlwind Fist
Name: Wind Release: Spiraling Wind Ball Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C (Optional Recurrent C-rank Price) Class: Offensive Range: Short-Mid, Contact (Diameter)
Description: After making hand seals, ending with Dog, this technique allows the user to breathe wind-infused chakra into the palm of their hand, shaping it into a small, whirlwind-like ball. Then the user will shoot it at their opponent, at bullet release speeds, causing it to reach up to 15 ft away before dispersing. This technique seems to be very fast and powerful, as it is capable of smashing through thick rock though only when used at close range. This is because the damage of this technique tapers of with distance being C-rank if within 5 ft, 3 D-rank if within 10 or just a D-rank at it's max range. They can be launched in rapid succession however, if one holds the Dog Seal after creating the first one at the cost of the chakra price per sphere released. Description: Req. Wind Release: Whirlwind to be learnt. After making hand seals ending with Dog, the user produces a powerful stream of wind from their mouth which stretches over 40 ft. The stream is conical initially only being 2 ft wide but ending up being 10 ft wide at it's maximum distance and deals C-rank Wind Release damage to a victim. However this technique is specifically geared at countering the use of clone techniques and with increased skill it only requires contact to dispel several clones in an instant. Name: Wind Release: Divine Wind Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C Class: Offensive, Supplementary Range: Contact (Width), Short (Height), Mid (Distance)
Description: After making hand seals finishing with Dog, the user releases a gust of wind that can form several small tornadoes which move outward at C-rank speeds. Each tornado produced by this technique has a fixed size, with their height being 5 ft, and their width being 1 ft at the base & 2 ft at the apex. Either way they are quite capable on their own dealing C-rank Wind Release damage upon striking a target. However when combined with a Fire Release: Running Fire that forms a circle (or other patterns) on ground level, this creates a massive flaming hurricane (B-rank Fire Release Defense Slicing Damage). If combined with a Fire Release: Running Fire that is airborne then it creates flaming tornadoes instead (B-rank Fire Release damage, C-rank Defense Slicing). Name: Wind Release: Air Bullets Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C (B-rank Chakra, Optional Recurrent Price) Class: Offensive Range: Self (Stockpile), Short-Long
Description: After making hand seals ending with Dog, the user gathers chakra over time (3 P.T) before making the Bird Hand seal in order to initiate the barrage. This technique shoots multiple tiny bullets of air at the victim with intense speed C++) over varying distances of either 10 (No Stockpile), 15 (1 Stockpile) or 30 ft (Over 2 Stockpiles). The bullets also have great power, enough to subdue a whole group of shinobi due to their number with each bullet dealing C-rank Wind Release damage. Depending on the user's skill the time the amount of bullet released varies however the one constant is that this technique is very quick and can be used to overwhelm multiple opponents at once. Due to how this technique is forms it can be stockpiled in advance with it not being required to be placed in spoiler tags at the cost of a recurrent C-rank Chakra Price each time the activation time is fulfilled without initiating it. Name: Wind Release: Sword of the Wind Count Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C (C-rank Chakra, B-rank Wind Materia) Class: Offensive Range: Contact (Thickness), Short (Width), Mid (Distance)
Description: Req. Wind Release: True Typhoon Style. Through a mere hand motion, the user releases a sharp wave of compressed wind from their hand. The wave is 2 ft thick and is in the shape of a crescent with a diameter of 10 ft and it can travel up to 20 ft away from the user before dispersing. Due to the properties of this technique, the expelled blasts are capable of piercing into and potentially through an opponent's flesh due to possessing B-rank Wind Release slicing damage. An ultimate defense technique; as using hand gestures, the user is able to create a protective barrier of wind capable of repelling any incoming attack they perceive, back on the original user with equal or greater force. Using this technique, the user displays the ability to not only repel projectiles, but ambient chakra-based attacks. This is done at varying speeds with the only constant being that it is done at the samurai level and that this technique is incapable of blocking elemental techniques (unless they are weak to wind) that are the same rank as the chakra price put into it. However when it comes to deflecting thrown projectiles this technique is unrivaled by any other equivalent in rank. This is because when it comes to them, they are deflected up to a set distance away from the user at a farther distance than opponents or chakra based techniques are. For those that come in direct constact with the barrier they are knocked back up to the maximum distance the wind barrier reaches despite sustaining no damage, however a skilled user can time the use of this technique in such a way that they can deflect projectiles into opponents in order to cause them injury. To reach higher speeds, the user can have their clones perform the technique on them by propelling them from their feet allowing them to utilize Mid Distances in calculating the distance they can cover in 1 P.T. Similar to the latter method this technique can also be used on an ally to increase their speed. With additional skill this technique can linger for a longer duration, whereas when utilized alongside clones one has a duration modifier based on how many clones were used (albeit automatically dispelling any clones used to assist with this technique upon launch). Description: Req. Shadow Clone Technique & Wind Release: Wind Clone to be learnt. Similar to the Clone Technique, this technique creates clones of the user albeit out of Wind. However, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually revert into wind after one or two solid blows, though even then it may not be enough as each clone has the tiers of the user and thus things which the original would brush off the clones can do the same. However unlike the original technique if these Wind Release: Shadow Clones are dispersed by physical techniques they can reform themselves at Vacuum Release speed.The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original including any gear on the originals person, likewise due to ones clones mirroring the original it is very difficult to tell the difference. Even with X-ray Vision, or Chakra Sensory as only X-ray Vision + A-rank or Above Chakra sensory can accurately distinguish a clone from the original due to how closely they are copied. Unlike the original technique this technique is more focused for combat and thus they do not transmit information to the user however this technique is not required to be placed in spoiler tags unless an opponent can distinguish them from a normal shadow clone.

Description: Req. True Typhoon Style & Wind Release: Consecutive Bursting Intense Winds to be learnt. After forming the necessary hand seals, starting with Bird & ending with Dog, the user manifests a truly apocalyptic tornado which is capable of dwarfing most creatures in the world, at Echoing Flash Speeds. The tornado is formed around the user, with only a 8 ft radius pocket containing the user being devoid of the churning winds. When it is initially formed it sucks in wind from the environment to create itself towering at 160 ft in height and like all tornadoes being wider at the apex (80 ft Radius) than at it's base (10 ft Radius). However this technique's true focus is in combating threats larger than the user, most notably other constructs of chakra as when it has formed the churning wind sucks in everything which lacks SSS-rank+ Strength to anchor themselves to the ground, or aerial threats which lack a SSS-rank Strength+Speed Tier Chain (or SSS++ Strength) to resist it's pull. Once objects larger than it, are pulled in the winds are augmented in size increasing to the size of the object while whirling them around inside of it immobilizing them if they lack either the strength (Z-) to fly within it or lack a Z-rank Air Movement Technique. Once enough momentum has been built up the trapped objects are launched out of the tornado backed by the full Z-rank force of the technique an additional 320 ft in the air and will eventually crash into the ground. Depending on the victim's weight the amount of fall damage they sustain upon their landing is monumental (those constructs which do not have WL included in description will use WL defined in this techniques chart) often being enough to destroy them completely. The tornado is centered on the user's position and the immediate space outside of the "Eye" is the most vicious capable of inflicting SSS-rank Wind Release Defense Slicing damage on those who attempt to breech through it to attack it's one weak spot. This is because the concentration necessary to utilize this technique will be broken immediately if the user sustains any sort of injury (after it has formed). Description: This is a unique genjutsu fighting style which branches away from the original method of utilizing a genjutsu technique by incorporating the Wind Release Nature Transformation. The Gale Illusion Style is a hybrid of auditory and olfactory genjutsu which in addition to being able to be triggered by layering genjutsu within a Wind Release (G. Wind & Air count as well) technique can have it's trigger requirements met upon the sound or smell of a breeze, scents carried on the wind or gales. Due to being elemental in nature like other elemental genjutsu types it overpowers ambient genjutsu when put against it however it suffers from the same elemental weaknesses and strengths as normal wind. When layering a Gale Illusion inside of a Wind Release technique the genjutsu are only required to be placed in spoilers if the opponent has a chakra sensory technique which allows one to analyze the amount of chakra put into a technique or possesses genjutsu detection equal to the rank of the genjutsu being layered. Upon contact with such a technique this type of genjutsu is called a chakra trigger which can only be Kai'd out of if an individual has Endurance Tiers equal to the rank of the Wind Release technique which struck them. While this style is not required to unlock access to Gale Illusions (Wind Release Genjutsu), it is required to get the styles benefits.

Hidden Village Exclusives (Kohai)Because Kohaigakure (The Village Hidden in within Ruins) specializes in Wind Release it like it's other Hidden Village counterparts has access to techniques which are unable to be learned anywhere else & have signatured even some of the techniques in Canon. While this does not mean they are unable to be learned it does mean that they are only taught in Kohaigakure either usually at a certain rank, and Kohai Nin are expressly forbidden to teach them to Non-Kohaigakure shinobi. Description: A technique only available to those within the Support & Logistics Department of the Medical Corps, however it can be taught to a Chunin or rarely Genin that is an apprentice to a Medic-Nin. After making hand seals and slamming their palms on the ground, the user creates a dome-shaped sandstorm, up to 20 ft away from themselves, which surrounds the opponent at Vacuum Release speeds and hinders them from escaping. The amount of sand utilized in the construction of the dome not only determines the size but likewise the rank of technique required to penetrate the dome & the rank of physical techniques unable to harm it's inner walls (physical negation). At the cost of being immobilized themselves the user can move the dome in an orbit around themselves (while spinning it around it's axis) in order to simulate movement preventing the victim inside from reaching anywhere but the middle of the dome so long as the victim's movements does not exceed their hand movements (Speed Tier & can factor in Hand Seal Specialist). During the technique's execution, the used sand particles collide against each other, thus creating electro-magnetic waves which place the trapped person under a "never-ending" genjutsu in the form of characterless beings attacking with kunai.
