Chakra Based Water Release Techniques- Ninjutsu:
Name: Water Release: Bullet Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Offensive Range: Long
Description: The user makes hand seals before spitting out a small bullet of water the size of an orange which flies through the air, up to 20 feet, at swift release speeds to impact an opponent to deal D-rank Water Release damage and potentially knock them off their feet if they lack D-rank strength to anchor themselves in place. This technique is very versatile due to it's low rank allowing it to be used in various situations whether as a standalone technique or in combinations.
Name: Water Release: Water Characters Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Contact (Surface), Varies (Water Medium)
Description: This technique allows one to send messages through water. By throwing water on a surface, even a vertical one, the water will rearrange itself into a readable message, which will fade after a while. The users skill determines how long this message can last, whereas the amount of chakra put into this technique determines the length of the message capable of being left. Rank - Duration - Chakra Price (Word Count of Message) D - 10 P.T - D (25) C (Low) - 20 P.T - 2 D (50) C (High) - 40 P.T - 3 D (75) Elite C - 80 P.T or 1 Topic - 4 D (100) Above C - 2 Topics - 5 D (125)
Name: Water Release: Shark Tooth Bullet Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Offensive Range: Mid
Description: The user makes hand signs before spitting out a small bullet of water shaped like a shark tooth which moves at swift release speeds to cover up to 10ft before dispersing. The bullet is the size of a great white shark's actual tooth and costs a D-rank amount of chakra to produce, and despite the low damage it all possesses D-rank defense piercing. It is a great technique for a novice water use to learn as they begin to learn how to manipulate their water affinity.
Name: Water Release: Hiding in Mist Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Supplementary Range: AOE
Description: The user makes hand signs before either expelling or drawing from a water source a mist which fills an area surrounding a 40ft radius around themselves. Due to being mixed in with the user's chakra it conceals the area hampering normal vision in addition to method of chakra sensory with victims only being able to detect the users chakra signature uniformly through the mist. It is incapable of fooling Dojutsu with X-ray vision however those with chakra vision such as the Itsugan have their advantages cancelled. Those with enhanced senses or a D-rank area dispersal technique and either get around the loss of vision or disperse the mist to restore sight.
Name: Water Release: Mouth Shot Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Offensive Range: Short
Description: A technique where the user spits out a single senbon-shaped droplet of water with high velocity which is hard to avoid over a distance of 5ft. Once the droplet hits anything, it forcefully bursts and hurts the target dealing D-rank water release chakra based damage. While the technique lacks the force to seriously endanger somebody, it can be used to weaken enemies while they are distracted. Depending on the user's skill level the speed at which the water droplet is launched at varies . Rank - Speed of Water Droplet (Dodging Requirement with D-rank Speed) D - D- C (Low) - D (Requires D-rank Reaction to Avoid) C (High) - D+ (Requires Time-Slowing Dojutsu or D-rank Reaction to Avoid) C (Elite) - D++ (Requires Time-Slowing Dojutsu & D-rank Reaction to Avoid)
Name: Water Release: Water Shuriken Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D-rank (D-rank Chakra Price per Shuriken) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Contact (Diverted Projectiles), Short (Ejection)-Mid (Thrown)
Description: After making hand seals and ending with Ox the user expels an orb of water which the hold in their palm. This orb can generate a multitude of shuriken comprised of water each capable of dealing D-rank Water Release chakra damage and due to being made of water are unable to be destroyed by normal projectiles which are not infused with chakra despite being able to divert them off course if they collide with each other. After being produced they are capable of being thrown at an opponent or can be ejected from the orb at Swift Release speeds, however they can only reach up to 5 feet through this method while if they are thrown they can reach up to 10 feet before dissipating. Rank - Type of Projectile Capable of Diverting (Distance Diverted) D - Basic Senbon (4 ft) C (Low) - Basic Shuriken (3 ft) C (High) - Basic Kunai (2 ft) Elite C & Above - Standard Senbon (1 ft)
Name: Water Release: Archerfish Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Short
Description: This is a basic water release technique, which after making hand seals the user simply creates a jet of water meant for extinguishing non technique based fires (materia). This jet of water can be extended depending on the amount of chakra put into it however it is not meant for combat instead the water is useful for clearing an area or object currently set ablaze. This technique can also be used to put out D-rank Fire Release ninjutsu but not much else. Chakra Price (Extension Distance) - Rank (Type of Fire Materia) D (5 ft) - D (Flammable Solids) 2 D (6 ft) - C (Flammable Liquids) 3 D (7 ft) - B (Flammable Gases) 4 D (8 ft) - A (Flammable Metals) 5 D (9 ft) - S (Electrical Fire)
Name: Water Release: Wild Water Wave Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank (Chakra Price Varies) Class: Offensive Range: Short-Mid
Description: This is a basic Water Release technique which has many variations. After preforming the necessary hand seals water gushes from the user's mouth like a waterfall extending over a distance of 15ft and washes away the enemy at Bullet Release speeds. One can freely control the power of this technique with the amount chakra one releases while holding the Ox hand seal while expelling water outward each post (total). Chakra Price each P.T - Water Release Damage D - D 3 D - C C - B B - A A - S
Name: Water Release: Water Bullet Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Long
Description: This is a highly versatile Water Release technique which has many advanced variations being built off from the Water Release: Bullet Technique. After kneading chakra in their stomach while preforming hand seals, the user expels a large quantity of water in the form of a powerful torrent towards their intended target. The water covers a distance of up to 40ft at bullet release speeds impacting a target to deal C-rank water release chakra based damage. This technique acts like a gateway for several other water techniques depending on the user's skill level. Rank - Water Release Technique Unlocked D - Water Mass Crumbling Bullet C (Low) - Water Shark Bullet C (High) - Water Dragon Bullet C (Elite) - Water Fang Bullet
Name: Water Release: Water Colliding Wave Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Offensive Range: AOE
Description: The user makes hand signs making a spiraling vortex of water up to 40ft in front of them which reaches 20ft into the air. The vortex then proceeds to explode from the top in the form of a wave to cover an 80ft radius around the initial vortex dealing C-rank water release chakra damage to those it impacts while knocking them off their feet unless they possess C-rank strength to root themselves in the ground. If hit by the initial vortex they are knocked into the air sustaining damage and upon the vortex exploding they sustain a second count of C-rank water release damage as they are buried underwater. The user can also control the direction the wave goes with hand movements allowing for a more fluid control of the expanding water. While not necessary to learn to make use of it's advanced variants this technique is the most basic method of producing vast quantities of water to change the terrain. In exchange for holding the Ox hand seal rather than guiding the water with hand movements the user can pour an additional amount of chakra each P.T to increase the amount of chakra produced by this technique. Rank of User - Speed of Vortex (Wave) - Chakra each P.T (Water Materia Produced each P.T) D - C- - C (C) C (Low) - C - 4 D (C) C (High) - C+ - 2 D (C) C (Elite)+ - C++ - D (C)
Name: Water Release: Hiding in Water Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self, Contact (Water Source)
Description: The user makes hand signs before melding with water to be undetected by the enemy unless they possess a C-rank chakra sensory technique. This technique is usable even in water as shallow as a puddle, as long as there is at least a D-rank source of water (D-rank Water Materia or from a D-rank Water Release technique), then this technique is useable. However it is only with an adequate source of water that the user can likewise conceal the water they melded with as well otherwise all that is visible is the water they are hiding within. This prevents opponents from detecting themselves with C-rank sensory techniques or below in addition to eye-sight & chakra vision. However due to incorporating water the user can still be detected by the Bakufukogan, depending on the user's skill level the water source needed to hide oneself more effectively varies. Rank - Water Source Req. to completely conceal self & water source D - S C - A B - B A - C S - D
Name: Water Release: Water Clone Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank (Each Water Clone is Comprised of 1 C-rank of Water) Class: Supplementary Range: Short-Mid (On Water Surface)
Description: The Water Clone Technique is similar to the Shadow Clone Technique except it creates clones out of water that have one-tenth of the original person's power which is dependent on the user's skill level to determine their power and the rank of techniques they can use. However due to this the number of clones that can be produced is double in comparison to the Shadow Clone technique when not on a water source and triple when on a water source. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves and resemble the user identically until they are struck hard enough to revert. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control going a max of 10 ft away before reverting to water. While on a water surface the distance they can travel is increased simply because they have a ready source of water to retain their form now being 20 ft away. Like other elemental clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert back water materia. Rank of User - Clone Tiers - Highest Rank Water Release Capable of Using D - 5-ranks Below - C C - 4-ranks Below - B B - 3-ranks Below - A A - 2-ranks Below - S S - 1-rank Below - SS
Name: Water Release: Water Army Water Demon Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank (C-rank Price + Optional Chakra Price) Class: Supplementary Range: Short-Mid
Description: This is a water release technique, which after making hand seals the user creates a large spiraling stream of water which moves at Bullet Release speeds. This jet of water can be guided mid-flight to strike at a target from multiple angles by holding the Tiger hand seal. Furthermore it can be extended depending on the amount of chakra put into it however it is not meant for combat instead the water is useful for clearing an area or object currently set ablaze or knocking an opponent back if they lack C-rank Strength to anchor themselves in place. This technique can also be used to put out C-rank Fire Release ninjutsu but not much else. Optional Chakra Price (Extension Distance) - Rank (Type of Fire Materia) D (11 ft) - D (Flammable Solids) 2 D (13 ft) - C (Flammable Liquids) 3 D (15 ft) - B (Flammable Gases) 4 D (17 ft) - A (Flammable Metals) 5 D (19 ft) - S (Electrical Fire)
Name: Water Release: Water Prison Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank (C-rank Chakra & C-rank Water Price) Class: Supplementary/Defensive Range: Short
Description: This technique is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water after making hand seals as long as they are within 10 ft of the user. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, which can be provided by expelling it from one's mouth or using a field containing at least a C-rank amount of water. Once trapped the target is unable to move or breathe while within it due to the heaviness of the water and due to the water encompassing the entire body it requires B-rank strength or a C-rank technique which expels chakra from every point in the body in order to escape it. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself to protect against incoming C-rank techniques including C-rank physical techniques or elemental techniques weak to water with piercing. It can also be stored in scrolls as traps and upon a victim being trapped within, a countdown dependent on the victims endurance tiers begins to see how long it takes to suffocate them, since the water is pressing down on their body breath holding techniques C-rank or below are ineffective. Water Clones can be used in preparation for this technique as well blocking an opponents attack and then trapping them in the sphere which forms at bullet release speeds or instantly if the victim makes physical contact with said water clone. Posts till Suffocation (total) - Endurance Tiers 5 - None 10 - D 15 - C 20 - B 25 - A 30 - S
Name: Water Release: Waterfall Basin Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank (C-rank Chakra & C-rank Water Price) Class: Supplementary Range: AOE
Description: Req. AOE Earth Release technique C-rank & Above. Cherish makes hand seals utilizing this technique which creates a waterfall by developing spring water in a place without water veins and manipulating the resulting water current to form a wave which carries away those unfortunate to not have C-rank strength to lock themselves in place down the water flow. This is a very convenient technique as it can be used for training or relaxation. On the other hand, because it changes the environment on a large scale, it also has the effect of hiding one's location from the enemy by confusing them and can be prepared in advance last for a set amount of topics depending on the user's skill level (D = 1 Topic, S = 5 Topics). The width of the water source, waterfall, and basin can be expended, dependent on the Earth Release technique first used to set it up. Earth Technique Rank - Size of Waterfall (sq ft) - Amount of Water Produced D - 40 - C C - 80 - 2 C (B) B - 120 - 3 C (A) A - 160 - 4 C S - 200 - 5 C
Name: Water Release: Body Replacement Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Offensive Range: Short
Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach using the Body Flicker Technique, the moment an attack hits. This technique differs with the normal body replacement technique in that unlike the original which is used to replace with solid objects this technique can be used to body replace with water allowing it's use to be much more diverse than the original technique. When used on large bodies of water this technique excels due to the numerous area's the user can body replace to using it.
Name: Water Release: Great Shark Tooth Bullet Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Offensive Range: Mid
Description: The user makes hand signs before spitting out small bullets of water shaped like shark teeth which move at bullet release speeds to cover up to 20ft before dispersing. Each bullet is the size of a megadolon's actual tooth and cost a C-rank amount of chakra to produce, and despite the low damage they all have C-rank defense piercing. Fang's version of this technique allows him to rapidly fire multiple bullets while holding the Ox hand seal with each additional Great Shark Tooth Bullet fired costing an additional C-rank of chakra.
Name: Water Release: Water Whip Classification: Ninjutsu (Kenjutsu) Rank: C-rank (Chakra Price Varies, Water Price Varies) Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Short-Mid
Description: The user creates a whip made of water that can wrap around the opponent or be used as an offensive weapon inflicting C-rank Water Release chakra damage. The user can also channel lightning chakra to shock anyone wrapped in it to increase is lethality and if the user has a whip or rope based weapon this technique can be used to encase them in order to convert their damage to Water Release Hybrid based damage. This technique is capable of being a set distance depending on the user's skill level however the durability of the whip and speed it lashes out at depends on the chakra price & materia used in it's formation. Rank of User - Max Distance in Ft - Chakra Price/Materia Price (Speed/Durability) D - 7 - D/D (D/D) C - 15 - C/C (C/C) B - 25 - B/B (B/B) A - 35 - A/A (A/A) S - 45 - S/S (S/S) *Note - Due to the fluctuating price it is very versatile in terms of it's formation for instance a whip produced with just a D-rank of chakra yet an S-rank of materia by an A-rank shinobi would be able to stretch up to reach up to 35ft only able to be destroyed by an A-rank technique yet only able to move on it's own at D-rank speed.
Name: Water Release: Surging Sea Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Short, Mid (Knock-Back)
Description: After kneading chakra in their stomach and converting it, the user expels a large surge of water from their mouth which rushes forward at Bullet Release speeds. Upon impacting a target they are dealt C-rank Water Release damage in addition to being knocked off their feet unless they possess Strength over C-rank an additional 15 ft. This is particularly useful when one needs to create space as with additional skill the exact strength required to anchor themselves in place increases. Rank - Str Req. D - C- C (Low) - C C (High) - C+ Elite C & Above - C++
Name: Water Release: Surfing Strike Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Short (On Land), Mid (On Water)
Description: After making hand seals before holding the Tiger hand seal the user creates water underneath their feet like a wave and then proceeds to ride it directly towards the opponent, sending crashing waves to attack them. The damage the waves deal is minimal only a D-rank of Water Release damage however this technique primarily functions as a movement technique. This is because while on land it can be used to move the user at Bullet Release speeds up to 10 ft while on Water it can be done up to 20 ft. The true strength of the user is it's ability to be tacked on to other water techniques in order to allow the user to shift their direction while benefiting from the enhanced speed of a more powerful water technique.
Name: Water Release: Water Mass Crumbling Bullet Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Offensive Range: Contact (Radius), Short (Range), Mid (Height)
Description: The user makes hand seals before stopping on Ox and spitting out a globule of water which shoots upward into the air before hanging there as it gets larger over time. After a set amount of time it reaches it's maximum size before plummeting downward at Bullet Release speeds to deal C-rank Water Release damage over the radius of the falling water bullet. This technique is quite useful for advanced set ups as often times it can be worked into an attack so long as the victim is distracted by something else, as a result if they lack C-rank Reaction or a moisture sensory technique C-rank or above this technique is not required to be placed in hand seals until it is triggered (Water Bullet falling down). Swell P.T - Radius of Water Bullet 1 - 1 ft (2 ft Diameter) 2 - 2 ft (4 ft Diameter) 3 - 3 ft (6 ft Diameter) 4 - 4 ft (8 ft Diameter) 5 - 5 ft (10 ft Diameter)
Name: Water Release: Starch Syrup Capturing Field Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank (Chakra Price Varies) Class: Supplementary Range: Long
Description: The user spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope of 40 feet filling the area at bullet release speeds. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility if they do not possess Strength above C-rank. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield with the liquid eventually receding into the ground after 20 posts (total) in normal humidity, 10 posts (total) in dry or intensely hot conditions and 40 posts (total) in humid or rainy conditions. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channeling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand. The syrup can be manipulated later on for use as a source of water for other water techniques. Chakra Used - Size of Capture Field- Amount of Syrup Produced C - 40 - 1 C-rank B - 60 - 2 C-ranks (1 B-rank) A - 80 - 4 C-ranks (2 B-ranks or 1 A-rank) S - 100 - 6 C-ranks (4 B-ranks, 2 A-ranks or 1 S-rank)
Name: Water Release: Water Pillar Thrust Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank (C-rank Chakra Price, Variable Materia Price) Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Short (Distance & Height)
Description: Req. Water Heaven's Convergence. The user uses their mastery of the Water Release to materialize a small body of water to rise up beneath an opponent within 10 feet to thrust them into the air at Bullet Release speeds. The amount of feet they are thrust upward is dependent on the water materia used to fuel this technique though either way this technique is geared towards dealing damage (C-rank) and leaving an opponent vulnerable to a follow up attack if they lack a C-rank air movement technique. Water Materia - Thrust Height D - 5 ft C - 10 ft B - 15 ft A - 20 ft S - 25 ft
Name: Water Release: Bullet Orca Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank (B-rank Chakra Price, B-rank Materia Price) Class: Offensive Range: Short (Radius), Mid (Distance)
Description: After the user makes hand seals they release a water bullet in the shape of an Orca which bursts forward at Crashing Ground speeds before colliding with an opponent up to 30 ft away. This deals B-rank Water Release damage as it explodes into a large volume of water filling a radius of 15 ft. This sends a huge surge of water crashing down onto the enemy, which with the intensity of the waves produced, restricts their movements due to sweeping them off their feet if they are within it's radius if they are unable to lock themselves in place. Rank - Strength Req. to Resist Knock-Back C-rank & Below - B- B-rank (Low) - B B-rank (High) - B+ Elite B-rank - B++
Name: Water Release: Drizzle Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank (B-rank Chakra Price, Variable Materia Price) Class: Offensive Range: Short (Distance), Contact (Water Spheres)
Description: Req. Water Heavens Convergence. The user condenses the water vapor in the air to fire multiple blasts of water at the target each falling downward at crashing ground speeds. This technique is notable for each water blast dealing C-rank Water Release damage and the amount capable of raining down on the opponent being based on the available materia in the air. Each water blast has a radius of half a foot, and fall within a 3 ft radius up to 15 ft away from the user making it useful for catching opponents off guard. Water Materia - No. of Water Blasts D - 2 C - 4 B - 6 A - 8 S - 10
Name: Water Release: Starch Syrup Binding Rope Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Contact (Binding), Short-Mid (Distance)
Description: Req. Starch Syrup Capture Field to be learnt. After kneading chakra in the stomach and converting it to high-viscosity water, the user spits it out, in the form of ropes that restrains the target's movement but does little else. Because of the viscosity of the water, it is even more difficult for them to escape its confines. The binding rope is shot out at Crashing Ground speeds and can reach up to either 15 or 30 ft away, depending on how close the victim is to the user the binding is stronger or weaker however in either case the victim requires strength higher than B-rank to escape it. Rank - Distance (Short/Mid) - Binding Escape Req. Elite D & Below - 1/3 - B+/+B-rank Chakra Expulsion Technique C (Low) - 5/10 - B++/+B-rank Chakra Expulsion Technique C (High) - 10/20 - A-/+A-rank Chakra Expulsion Tech Elite C - 15/30 - A/+A-rank Chakra Expulsion Tech
Name: Water Release: Water Trumpet Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Mid
Description:Req. Wild Water Wave to be learnt. The user makes hand seals before initiating this technique which can serve as a pseudo-air movement technique in a pinch. This is because the user launches a large jet of water from their mouth through their cupped hand at Crashing Ground speeds. This gives the appearance of playing a trumpet, hence the name, while dealing B-rank Water Release damage to an opponent it strikes. The strength of the jet is enough to actually push the user back if they aren't braced against the ground and the addition of the Ox hand seal allows one to continuously push out water albeit for a C-rank chakra cost each post (total). While in the hands of a master capable of reducing the hand seals a technique requires, it can be made to seem like the hand seals of this technique are identical to the Wild Water Wave. Name: Water Release: Gunshot Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Offensive Range: Long (Fall Distance), Mid (Projection Distance)
Description: After kneading and converting their chakra into water, the user will shoot a bullet of water at a target each capable of moving at Crashing Ground speeds up to 30 ft away from the user (horizontal distance). The size is dependent on either how much water the user can store in their body or their skill level. The true danger of this technique lies in utilizing the force of gravity to amplify speed of this technique thus when utilized by creatures of great size or from a great height it's true prowess is capable of being shown. Regardless of it's speed it deals B-rank Water Release chakra based damage upon colliding with the opponent. Rank (Size) - Size of Gunshot - Distance Falling (Speed Boost) D (Medium S & Below) - 1 ft Radius - 10 ft (+1 Tier Levels) C (Medium M) - 2 ft Radius - 20 ft (+2 Tier Levels) B (Medium L) - 3 ft Radius - 40 ft (+3 Tier Levels) A (Medium XL) - 4 ft Radius - 80 ft (+4 Tier Levels) S (Large S & Above) - 5 ft Radius - 160 ft (+5 Tier Levels)
Name: Water Release: Running Water Whip Classification: Ninjutsu (Kenjutsu) Rank: B-rank (Chakra Price Varies) Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Short-Mid, Long (Knockback)
Description: Req. Water Release: Water Whip. The user kneads chakra in her mouth, then places her hand on her mouth and expels water in the form of a whip which she uses to lash her opponent, sending them flying backwards. Depending on the durability of the original water whip the amount of knock-back this technique deals upon impacting a target varies, however depending on how much additional chakra is infused in the whip it douses a victim causing them to be wet making them more vulnerable to techniques which can be conducted through water (Lightning, Flux etc), with the damage those technique deal dealing damage to their internal organs (bypassing) so long as they were already doused. This can be used to great effect by the wielder of the whip for various set ups in combat with victims being forced dry themselves via heat, wind or a B-rank or above drying technique. Chakra Price - Whip Wetness (Drying Req) - Knock-back (Original Whip Durability) D - D - 20ft (D) C - C - 40ft (C) B - B - 60ft (B) A - A - 80ft (A) S - S - 100ft (S)
Name: Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank (B-rank Chakra & Variable Water Price) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Long
Description: The Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique shapes a large amount of water into a giant, powerful dragon, which hits the opponent with formidable might, dealing B-rank water release physical damage. The ideal place to use it is near a body of water (Minimum = B-rank amount of Water Materia), but if the user's skill allows it, it is possible to use it even in a place where there is none. The amount of water used will be in proportion with the user's skill in Water Release Nature Transformation, and their own personal skill determines how much additional water materia that can be funnelled into this technique to boost the either the scale at which it is preformed, speed it moves while travelling to a target (2x = 1-rank Faster) or damage dealt upon smashing into a target at bullet release speeds. This technique allows the user to preform the technique with the use of additional materia (external construct) to bolster it's power however the drawback is the time it takes to utilize this technique this way due to requiring the Hand Seal String: Water Dragon Bullet to learn this specific technique. Water Affinity (Rank) - Water Materia Required (Max. Water Materia Capable of Being Added) - Water Materia Used (Multiplier) Unnatural - A (2 B-rank) - S-rank (2x) Base - B (3 B-ranks) - S-rank (3x) High - C (4 B-ranks) - S-rank+ (4x) Very High - D (5 B-ranks) - SS-rank- (5x) Ghost Water with a Very High Water Affinity - None (6 B-ranks) - SS-rank (6x)
Name: Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank (Chakra Cost Varies) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: AOE
Description: After making hand seals, the user spits out a great volume of water from their mouth, swallowing up and crushing the enemy with the advancing surge causing victims who are unable to lock themselves in place with B-rank strength tiers to be carried along with the incoming water being churned underwater to deal blunt B-rank chakra damage to their internal organs if they are submerged under it. The user can ride the wave, allowing them to move at high speeds of Crashing Ground, and attack the enemy, now swept off their feet, without fear of counter-attacks depending on the amount of water used. The amount of water created is proportional to the amount of chakra used; when used with large amounts of chakra it is possible for the user to create copious amounts of water to flood the area, regardless however it still moves at the same speed regardless of the amount of chakra put into it. Afterwards, the excess water can be used for additional Water Release techniques. Chakra Used - Area of Effect (radius) - Amount of Water Produced C - 80 - 1 B-rank B - 120 - 2 B-ranks (1 A-rank) A - 160 - 4 B-ranks (2 A-ranks or 1 S-rank) S- 200 - 8 B-ranks (4 A-ranks, 2 S-ranks or 1 SS-rank)
Name: Water Release: Water Shark Bullet Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank (C-rank Chakra & C-rank Water Price) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Mid
Description: Req. B-rank+ AOE Water Source. The user shapes water into the form of a large shark and thrusting their hand forward, sends it hurtling towards the opponent at crashing ground speeds, resulting in a powerful impact inflicting B-rank Water Release Chakra damage. The user can also ride inside the water shark to dramatically increase their swimming speed to equal the speed of the shark, otherwise it travels up to 30 ft away from the user. This technique acts like a gateway for several other shark themed water release techniques depending on the user's skill level. Rank - Water Release Technique Unlocked C (Elite) - Five Feeding Sharks B (Low) - Shark Bullet Implosion B (High) - Five Gluttonous Sharks B (Elite)+ - A Hundred Feeding Sharks
Name: Water Release: Five Feeding Sharks Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank (B-rank Chakra & 5 C-ranks Water Price) Class: Supplementary, Offensive Range: Contact (Water Surface), Varies (Within Water)
Description: The user puts their hand on the surface of a body of water and from the tips of five fingers, chakra is released into the water, changing it into the form of five ferocious sharks. The sharks circle the target with swift release speed, creating a raging stream that takes away their prey's freedom of movement unless they have C-rank strength or C-rank speed while swimming and their sharp teeth tear into the enemy with each consecutive attack inflicting C-rank damage each post (total). For an additional chakra price equal to half the total (C) these sharks can regenerate from surrounding water, making them difficult to destroy as long as enough water fills the area to comprise one shark (1 C-rank of Water Per Shark). This price can be lowered further depending on the amount of water on the field as if there is at least 5 B-ranks of water the price to regenerate the sharks is 1 D-rank. With increased mastery of this technique the sharks swim speed is increased making this a powerful technique in the hands of a master. Name: Water Release: Water Fang Bullet Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank (B-rank Chakra & up to 5 B-rank Water Price) Class: Offensive Range: Short, Mid (On Water Source)
Description: A technique that deals damage to the enemy with a liquid mass brought forth from underwater after the user makes hand seals. Its power to kill and maim is augmented by adding a spinning motion to the compactly pressured water allowing it to reach up to 15 ft. During fights on water, taking advantage of its characteristic ability to attack from anywhere in a 360 degrees radius (up to 30 ft away from the user), in conjunction with other techniques for distraction, confusion and so forth, this technique has an extensive array of applications. It is shown that the technique can be used as a collective attack, increasing its size and penetration power, or as separate attacks which improves it's ability to catch opponents off guard. What this means is that they can be combined together with each additional Water Fang Bullet increasing the scale of the technique by .5x and giving the collective mass 1 Tier Level higher in penetration power. On the other hand when utilized in succession opponents require B-rank Reaction Tiers without any additional distractions or a Time-slowing Dojutsu + B-rank Reaction Tiers in order to avoid the first Water Fang Bullet, with each additional bullet emerging the victim requires 1 Tier Level higher in speed to avoid them. The defense piercing capabilities for each Fang is set at B-rank Water Release chakra based damage and they move at Crashing ground speed. No. of Water Fang Bullets Per Price - Rank - Stacked Water Fang Bullets (Scale) 1 - D - 1 (1x) 2 - C - 2 (1.5x) 3 - B - 3 (2x) 4 - A - 4 (2.5x) 5 - S - 5 (3x)
Name: Water Release: Rising Water Slicer Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Offensive Range: Long (Horizontal Distance), Short/Mid (Vertical Distance), Contact (Jet Width)
Description: This technique will create a fast jet of water with a width of 3ft running through the ground that is powerful enough to slice through solid rock to deal B-rank water release slicing chakra based damage up to 60 ft away. This makes it a powerful subterranean combat deterrent as victims up to 30ft underground can be cut by the water jet. However, it can easily be avoided by jumping upwards if one possesses a time-slowing dojutsu in an area not currently covered by water. When an area is covered by water the water blades are more difficult to detect requiring B-rank Reaction Tiers or the Bakufukogan to see the moving water currents to determine where the water jet is prior to emerging from underneath the water surface. Alternatively the water blades can also be sent above ground level to strike down jumping targets extending up to 15ft into the air, only covering half the distance the normal use does. Jumping victims require either B-rank Reaction Tiers/Time-Slowing Dojutsu & a B-rank or above Air movement technique to avoid being sliced up by this technique. If the area is currently covered in water then it requires either the Raidengan (Time-Slowing Dojutsu + Reaction Tiers) or the Bakufukogan to notice the moving water currents prior to emerging from the water surface.
Name: Water Release: Water Formation Wall Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank (B-rank Chakra & B-rank Water Price) Class: Defensive/Offensive Range: Short-Mid (Without Water Source), Mid-Long (On Water Source)
Description: Optional B-rank or Higher AOE Water Source to augment range. A technique that creates a wall of water around the user to defend against attacks incoming in a 270 degree radius. This can either be done either by using a pre-existing source, or if the user is skilled enough, from thin air. In the case of the latter it results in the user expelling a torrent of water which spreads outward 15 ft (radius) after hitting the ground with the pressure of the impact causing the water to reach 30 ft in the air at crashing ground speeds to protect the user. In the case of the latter it's is much larger spreading outward 30 ft (radius) while reaching 60 ft in the air. While mainly used as a defensive tactic, it can be used in an offensive manner by directly aiming below the opponent to have the water rise up and strike them knocking them off their feet unless they possess either B-rank Strength + a B-rank Swimming Technique or B-rank+ Strength and dealing C-rank Water Release Damage to them. Due to being primarily a defensive technique it is capable of blocking incoming B-rank techniques which are neutral against water release and do not have piercing however due to the strength of the torrent it is more effective at combating B-rank and below physical techniques, washing away projectiles and incoming strikes even if they possess defense piercing so long as they are not strong against water release.
Name: Water Release: Shark Bullet Implosion Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank (C-rank Chakra Price to Implode Shark) Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Self (Water Shark Bullet), Contact (Implosion Radius)
Description: This is an add-on technique to the Water Shark Bullet Technique which allows a user to detonate their ninjutsu resulting in an implosion which drags victims within 3 ft of a Water Shark Bullet in before crushing them with water pressure. Due to imploding victims require B-rank Strength to swim out out of the implosion, however if they have been swallowed by a Water Shark Bullet they will require more strength to escape. Upon imploding victims are dealt B-rank Water Release Chakra Damage and depending on the skill of the user each Water Shark Bullet is capable of swallowing larger targets before imploding. Rank - Size Capable of Being Swallowed C (Elite) - Small B (Low) - Humanoid B (High) - Medium (S) B (Elite) - Medium (M)
Name: Water Release: Starch Syrup Capturing Pond Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank (Chakra Price Varies) Class: Supplementary Range: AOE
Description: The user spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope of 40 feet filling the area at crashing ground speeds. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility if they do not possess Strength above B-rank. Chakra Used - Size of Capture Pond - Amount of Syrup Produced C - 40 - 1 B-rank B - 80 - 2 B-ranks (1 A-rank) A - 120 - 4 B-ranks (2 A-ranks or 1 S-rank) S - 160 - 6 B-ranks (4 A-ranks, 2 S-ranks or 1 SS-rank)
Name: Water Release: Tearing Torrent Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank (Variable Chakra Price) Class: Offensive/Defensive Range: Contact (Impact), Short (Humid Conditions) Mid (Knock-back)
Description: This technique creates water that spirals in the user's hand which fires at a high speed towards the enemy after making contact with them. If utilize during humid conditions (Fog, Rain etc), it can also be able to be conjured from the surrounding area in the form of a torrential wave up to 15 ft away from the user. Upon impacting a victim they are dealt C-rank damage and are swept off their feet by the deluge of water at Crashing Ground speeds, which extends outward up to 30 ft away. It can be used defensively to great effect against incoming physical projectiles as so long as they are not strong against water release they will be swept away at varying levels depending on how much strength is backing them (speed they are moving through the air). Chakra Price (Additional Knock-Back) - Strength Backing Projectiles - Distance Swept Away D (None) - None - 30 ft C (+5 ft) - D - 20 ft B (+10 ft) - C - 10 ft A (+15 ft) - B - 5 ft S (+20 ft) - B with Piercing - 1 ft
Name: Water Release: Stormy Blockade Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-Rank Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Short (Radius), Mid (Height)
Description: After making hand seals culminating in placing ones palms on the ground this technique makes use of the water in the user's area to drag as much as possible from their surroundings to create a great rush of water, dropping on to the opponent as if from the sky. Alternatively, the technique can be used behind the user to create a rush of water along the ground moving at crashing ground speed. The water first collates at a certain height dependent upon the users rank and gaining a larger height and thus drop force, as the user gains strength, knocking airborne targets out of the sky unless they possess B-rank strength tiers for their method of flight, and fills around the user from a 15 ft radius. The amount of water created is also dependent upon the amount of chakra the user puts in to the technique on creation, and can be extended in to chakra being paid each post (total) basis to keep up the water generation. This technique can be ended at any time by taking ones hands off the ground or whatever surface they make contact with to initiate this technique. Rank - Maximum Height - Water Produced D - 10 - 1C C - 20 - 2C B - 30 - 3C A - 40 - 4C S - 50 - 5C
Name: Water Release: Tornado of Water Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank (B-rank Water price & B-rank Chakra Price) Class: Defensive/Offensive Range: Contact (Interception), Short (Vortex), Mid (Knockback)
Description: The user makes hand seals, if water isn't available to facilitate this technique it costs double the chakra price to first produce the water and then shape it into the technique. This is a technique that utilizes water to create a spinning water vortex in a 15 ft radius around the user which moves at crashing ground speeds. The water vortex acts both as a barrier and an attack mechanism as incoming projectiles and physical objects not backed by B-rank strength are launched in various directions moving at crashing ground speed over a distance of 30 ft. Offensively this can be used to quickly interrupt physical attacks as impact with it deals B-rank water release damage, it is capable of blocking B-rank physical techniques without defense piercing as long as they aren't strong against Water. The power of the vortex is enough to knock an opponent unconscious if they do not possess B-rank chakra tiers or A-rank endurance tiers making it a skilled counter against physical specialists. Rank - No. Projectiles Deflected (At Once) - Interception Distance Below B - 5 - 1 ft B (Low) - 10 - 2 ft B (High) - 15 - 3 ft Elite B - 20 - 4 ft Above B - 25 - 5 ft
Name: Water Release: Great Waterfall Flow Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank (B-rank Chakra, Optional B-rank of Water) Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Long
Description: Req. AOE Water Release technique or Water Source C-rank & Above active on the field. The user makes hand seals and then taps her foot on a surface of water and by mixing said source of water with chakra, the user can create a whirlpool of differentiating sizes (moving at crashing ground speeds) in order to drown their opponent as the churning force of the water negates the use of breath holding techniques B-rank and below. This technique can be used in two ways, the first being if used on a normal surface of water such as a pond or a lake in which the water materia already present is used, while the second being used on a surface of water which isn't comprised of water materia like a Water Release AOE technique. The whirlpool effect is used to change the area, constantly churning those who are trapped within it, when used on a normal water surface victims who are trapped in it are unable to escape unless they possess B-rank strength due to the churning suction of the whirlpool.
The user can also utilize this technique alongside the Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave and it's advanced variant Water Release: Great Exploding Colliding wave. Due to being swept up in the water produced by either victims require either, a B-rank Strength+Speed tier chain to swim to the surface/B-rank water movement technique (Exploding Water Colliding Wave); or an A-rank Strength+Speed tier chain/A-rank water movement technique (Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave). Depending on their Endurance Tiers if they are unable to escape they will eventually drown leading to unconsciousness and even death. Name: Water Release: Shadow Clone Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank (Each Clone contains A-rank of Water Materia) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Self (Water), Varies
Description: Req. Shadow Clone Technique & Water Release: Water Clone to be learnt Similar to the Clone Technique, this technique creates clones of the user albeit out of water. However, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually revert into water after one or two solid blows, though even then it may not be enough as each clone has the tiers of the user and thus things which the original would brush off the clones can do the same. However unlike the original technique if these Water Release: Shadow Clones are dispersed by physical techniques they will split apart forming three Water Clones for each Water Release: Shadow Clone that is "dispelled". The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original including any gear on the originals person, likewise due to ones clones mirroring the original it is very difficult to tell the difference. Even with X-ray Vision, or Chakra Sensory as only X-ray Vision + A-rank or Above Chakra sensory can accurately distinguish a clone from the original due to how closely they are copied. Unlike the original technique this technique is more focused for combat and thus they do not transmit information to the user however this technique is not required to be placed in spoiler tags unless an opponent can distinguish them from a normal shadow clone.
Name: Water Release: Water Hail Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Short (Radius), Mid (Distance)
Description: After making hand seals the user cups their hands together and stretches their arms outward at the target. They will then unleash a large barrage of water bullets each of them moving at Vacuum Release. The bullets are very potent for penetrating defenses, able to effortlessly demolish large and sturdy structures to deal A-rank Water Release Piercing however each bullet doesn't deal that much damage individually (D). As a result this is a technique geared more towards the destruction of structures and equipment (penetrating those A-rank or below) rather than killing ones opponents. Rank - No. of Water Hail (Total Damage if all hit) D - 3 (3 D) C - 6 (C) B - 12 (B) A - 18 (1 C & 1 B) S - 24 (A)
Name: Water Release: Water Droplet Spear Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank (A-rank Chakra Price, Variable Materia Price) Class: Offensive Range: Mid (Distance), Short (Radius), Contact (Water Spears)
Description: Req. Water Heavens Convergence & Water Release: Drizzle. The use condenses the water vapor in the air to attack their opponents with multiple water orbs which converge on top of them in the form of multiple spears. This technique is notable for each water spear dealing B-rank Water Release piercing damage and the amount capable of raining down on the opponent being based on the available materia in the air. Each water orb is created up to 40 ft away from the user before elongating up to 4 ft to strike an opponent within a 20 ft radius of it's origin. This allows for flexible tactics which are able to catch opponents off guard or herd them into the range of other techniques without them noticing. Water Materia - No. of Water Spears B - 1 A - 2 S - 4 SS - 6 SSS - 8
Name: Water Release: Starch Syrup Gunshot Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank Class: Offensive Range: Long (Fall Distance), Mid (Projection Distance)
Description: Req. Starch Syrup Capture Field & Water Release: Gunshot to be learned. After kneading and converting their chakra into highly viscous water, the user will shoot a bullet of syrup at a target each capable of moving at Vacuum Release speeds up to 40 ft away from the user (horizontal distance). The size is dependent on either how much syrup the user can store in their body or their skill level. The true danger of this technique lies in utilizing the force of gravity to amplify speed of this technique thus when utilized by creatures of great size or from a great height it's true prowess is capable of being shown. Regardless of it's speed it deals A-rank Water Release chakra based damage upon colliding with the opponent while restricting their movements if they lack strength above A-rank. Rank (Size) - Size of Syrup Gunshot - Distance Falling (Speed Boost) D (Medium S & Below) - 1 ft Radius - 10 ft (+1 Tier Levels) C (Medium M) - 2 ft Radius - 20 ft (+2 Tier Levels) B (Medium L) - 3 ft Radius - 40 ft (+3 Tier Levels) A (Medium XL) - 4 ft Radius - 80 ft (+4 Tier Levels) S (Large S & Above) - 5 ft Radius - 160 ft (+5 Tier Levels)
Name: Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Triple Step Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank (A-rank Chakra Price + Variable Materia) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Long
Description: Req. Water Dragon Bullet. This is an advanced version of the Water Dragon Bullet Technique which launches up to three Water Dragon Bullets at the opponent instead of one. In essence it mirrors the Fire Release: Dragon Flame Release Song technique in which the Dragon Bullets fired still deal the same amount of damage as the original technique while likewise moving at the same speed. What this technique does allow however is the ability to utilize one price to fire more than one bullet allowing chakra & materia to be conserved towards improving ones Water Dragon Bullet(s). In everything else this technique is similar to the original thus requiring a true master of Water Release ninjutsu to bring out it's true power. Rank (Water Dragon Bullets) - Max Water Materia Capable of Being Added D (1) - 1 A C (2) - 2 A B (2) - 3 A A (3) - 4 A S (3) - 5 A
Name: Water Release: Snake's Mouth Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Long (Distance), Mid (Height), Short (Mouth), Contact (Knock-Back)
Description: After making hand seals, the user generates a spinning column of water which takes the form of a snake with a gaping jaw at Vacuum Release speeds. This construct is decently stable as it is only capable of being disrupted if it sustains A-rank damage that is strong against Water Release or possesses Defense piercing. This snake can twist and follow its targets up to 80 ft away from the user and swallow them dealing A-rank Water Release damage to them. After it has swallowed them, it's insides turn into a river that carries the targets away down it's entire length (40 ft). Due to the way the Snake is capable of being moved this can be positioned in the air after swallowing an opponent sending them crashing downward at Vacuum Release speeds to collide with the ground to deal additional falling damage to them, or merely positioned horizontally to move them to a more favorable position for a follow up or some other tactic. Rank of User (Size Capable of Swallowing) - Height in Air (Fall Damage Dealt) D (Tiny) - 5 ft (None) C (Small) - 10 ft (D) B (Humanoid) - 20 ft (3 D) A (Medium S) - 30 ft (C) S (Medium M) - 40 (B)
Name: Water Release: Water Attacking Gorgon Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank Class: Offensive Range: Contact (Trigger), Short (Extension), Mid (Distance)
Description: This technique will summon a large amount of water that will then be used to strike at the opponent in several versatile ways at Vacuum Release speeds. Typically it is known to transform it into a serpentine mass with a gaping mouth to attack dealing A-rank Water Release damage to an opponent. The water used will be stationary till it is sent offensively toward the opponent up to 40 ft away, however it has a unique effect if it is combated with a physical technique A-rank or below. This is because when the water is destroyed rather than disrupting the technique it reforms albeit with an additional serpentine extension which can reach up to 20 ft away from the main body. This can be used as a suitable counter against an opponent reliant on physical techniques or A-rank chakra flow techniques that are not strong against Water Release as each time they are destroyed more extensions sprout out from the main body. While the extensions are weaker than the main body they can be coordinated to strike at an opponent's blind spot from multiple directions forcing them to use either 1 Tier Level higher in Speed or Reaction than what they used to dodge previously to avoid being hit. Rank - Max no. of Extensions (Extension Damage) D - 1 (None, 4 ft Knock-back only) C - 2 (D) B - 3 (3 D) A - 4 (C) S - 5 (B)
Name: Water Release: Great Water Mass Bullet Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank Class: Offensive Range: Contact (Radius), Short (Range), Mid (Height)
Description: Req. Water Mass Crumbling Bullet to be learned. The user makes hand seals before stopping on Ox and spitting out multiple globules of water which either shoot upward into the air or remain in front of the user before hanging there as they get larger over time. After a set amount of time they reach their maximum size before plummeting downward at Vacuum Release speeds to deal A-rank Water Release damage over the radius of each massive water bullet. This technique is quite useful for advanced set ups as often times it can be worked into an attack so long as the victim is distracted by something else, as a result if they lack A-rank Reaction or a moisture sensory technique A-rank or above this technique is not required to be placed in hand seals until it is triggered (Water Bullet falling down). If used in the alternate way they are obvious and thus this technique is placed in spoiler tags, but in comparison certain water bullets can be delayed rather than released all at once to trip up opponents. Rank (No. of Bullets) -Delay/Swell P.T - Radius of Water Bullet D (1) - 1 - 1 ft (2 ft Diameter) C (2) - 2 - 2 ft (4 ft Diameter) B (3) - 3 - 3 ft (6 ft Diameter) A (4) - 4 - 4 ft (8 ft Diameter) S (5) - 5 - 5 ft (10 ft Diameter)
Name: Water Release: Water Formation Pillar Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank (A-rank Chakra & A-rank Water Price) Class: Defensive/Offensive Range: Mid-Long (Without Water Source), Long-AOE (On Water Source)
Description: Optional A-rank or Higher AOE Water Source to augment range. A defensive technique where chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into water and then expelled from the mouth in a dense, curved torrent, near-instantaneously (Vacuum Release) creating a circular barricade that can be used to intercept incoming attacks. The barricade is particularly powerful in the hands of someone with a potent Water Affinity seeing as is capable of overwhelming & extinguishing Fire Release techniques that are being fueled by flammable materials so long as they are on par with this techniques rank. This technique can likewise wash away incoming opponents if they are unable to brace themselves with strength above A-rank. Affinity - Flames capable of extinguishing Unnatural - Fire Release Natural - Fire Release bolstered by gaseous flammable materials (i.e. Wind) High - Fire Release bolstered by solid flammable materials (i.e. Nature) Very High - Fire Release bolster by liquid flammable materials (i.e Oil)
Name: Water Release: Water Blade Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank (A-rank Chakra Price, Optional Materia Price) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: AOE (Ground Water Supply), Mid (Height), Contact (Width)
Description: Req. Source of Groundwater. The user makes hand seals and then forms a hand seal unique to this technique which involves holding their pinky & index finger straight and making a corkscrew motion to initiate this technique. This raises a column of underground water from beneath their feet, which takes the shape of a high-pressured water blade at vacuum release speeds. If one were to take a direct hit from the blade, it would cut clean through flesh and bone due to inflicting A-rank Water Release chakra based slicing damage. This technique is perfect for digging through bedrock without creating igniting sparks. Furthermore using hydrated calcium and weathered shards of volcanic rock from the underground water, the shape of this technique can also take the form of other types of blades, increasing the ability to cut through objects normally unable to be breached by water. Rank (Type of Substance) - Object Capable of being cut through D (Calcium) - Sandstone C (Metal Filings) - Earth B (Volcanic Rock) - Steel A (Sand) - Crystal S (Glass) - Diamond
Name: Water Release: Running Water Spear Classification: Ninjutsu (Kenjutsu) Rank: A-rank Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Contact (Water Whip), Short (Water Source Proximity to Victim), Long (Knockback)
Description: Req. Water Release: Running Water Whip. This technique can be utilized after either striking an opponent with other water release techniques previously or so long as their is an existing body of water on the field. Essentially the user either uses their Running Water Whip to make contact with a pool of water or makes hand seals ending in ox which causes the remaining water in the area, within up to 20 ft of the victim) to surge into a spear which pierces the opponent while likewise knocking them back. The speed at which the water is able to coalesce into a spear is Vacuum Release upon which the victim is struck suffering A-rank Water Release piercing damage before being knocked 80 ft away sustaining additional physical damage if they collide with anything during their flight. The use of this technique is such that with an active Running Water Whip on the field this technique does not require hand seals as it uses shape manipulation through advanced chakra control to bring about it's effects.
Name: Water Release: Torrent Bullet Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank (A-rank Chakra Price, Variable Activation Time) Class: Offensive/Defensive Range: Contact (Radius), Short (Humid Conditions) Mid (Height), Long (Distance)
Description: Req. Water Release: Tearing Torrent to be learned. The user make hand seals ending with Ox before creating water which spirals in both of the user's hands before coalescing into a large vortex of water. Upon making the hand seals one can delay the formation of this technique in order to build it's power before it's use. After the appropriate amount of time this technique is then sent forth at their opponent moving at Vacuum Release speeds with the vortex reaching 40 ft in the air and having a 8 ft diameter. If utilized during humid conditions (Fog, Rain etc), it can also be able to be conjured from the surrounding area up to 20 ft away from the user making it useful to intercepting the movement of a victim who lacks chakra sensory. As a result if used in the second manner this technique is not required to be placed in spoiler tags unless the victim possesses either an A-rank Moisture or Chakra Sensory technique or possesses chakra vision or the Bakufukogan. It can be used defensively to great effect against incoming physical projectiles as so long as they are not strong against water release they will be swept into the vortex inflicting their damage upon victims trapped within it's confines at varying levels depending on how much strength was originally backing them. Description: Req. Water Release: Running Water Whip & Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet to be learned & an A-rank or above Water Source on field. After preforming hand seals ending with Ox and clenching one's dominant hand so that the fingers point inward yet a fist isn't made, this technique creates an orb of water from which many sharp whips of water emerge that can be directed towards and impale a target or multiple targets. The whips can also change direction in mid-trajectory, bending to seek out the targets as long as the user keeps their hand within the orb. By moving each finger one of the produced whips formed launch forward allowing some to be kept in reserve until the right moment, though all can be launched at once if brute force is needed. This allows the user to fluidly manipulate them in combat though at the drawback of being unable to make additional hand seals. This technique shines however when used as a medium for the powerful water technique, Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique as using the water materia provided it is possible to produce more than one Dragon Bullet for one price depending on the user's skill level. Name: Water Release: Water Dragon Whirlpool Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A (18 D-ranks, 4 C-ranks, 2 B-ranks or 1 A-rank Chakra Price) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Long
Description: Req. Great Waterfall Flow & Water Dragon Bullet to be learned & an AOE B-rank or above Water Release technique to be active on the field. The user creates a barrage of water bullets and shoots the opponent in successive hits which spins the opponent around to disorientate them. Then using shape manipulation while clapping her hands together creates a whirlpool from the water spilling off the victim's body and which envelops the opponent and drags them below to drown them underwater. This technique can be utilized in multiple ways but it's main consistency is how it can be formed almost seamlessly from another technique, in fact this technique doesn't necessary have a price it can only be initiated however if the opponent is either hit by all three bullets or hit by at least one while being in proximity of the others (within the center of them). The one which requires 16 D-ranks stems from Water Release: Bullet, the one which requires 4 C-ranks stems from Water Release: Water Bullet. The one which requires 2 B-ranks stems from two uses of Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet while the last which requires 1 A-rank is simply preformed by utilizing Water Release: Water Dragon Whip with 3 to 5 Dragon Bullets. The churning force of the water negates the use of breath holding techniques A-rank and below & the repetitive blows from the water bullets each deal their individual counts of damage.
The user can also utilize this technique alongside their Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave and it's advanced variant Water Release: Great Exploding Colliding wave.Due to being swept up in the water produced by either victims require either, a A-rank Strength+Speed tier chain to swim to the surface/A-rank water movement technique (Exploding Water Colliding Wave); or an S-rank Strength+Speed tier chain/S-rank water movement technique (Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave). The stream stretches of long distances based on the users skill level however moves at Vacuum release speeds and rotates rapidly to give it high pressure cutting properties. This allows it to slice through solid objects even those which normally are good against it such as rocks created by earth release or trees created by nature release, making it a formidable tool in the arsenal of a Water release user in the event of elemental disadvantages. It can likewise be used offensively inflicting A-rank Water Release chakra based slicing damage to victims struck by it being capable of lopping of limbs or even bisecting opponents due to the highly pressurized water. Description: This technique is a larger version of the Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave and is formed once the user makes handseal before clapping their hands together. With it, the user spews out a massive amount of water which spew forth at Vacuum release speeds, covering an entire area with crushing, unavoidable waves causing victims who are unable to lock themselves in place with A-rank strength tiers to be carried along with the incoming water but if they are submerged underneath it they sustain A-rank Water Release chakra based damage. The user can ride the wave, allowing them to move at high speeds of Vacuum Release, and attack the enemy, now swept off their feet, without fear of counter-attacks depending on the amount of water used. The amount of water created is proportional to the amount of chakra used; when used with large amounts of chakra it is possible for the user to create copious amounts of water to flood the area, regardless however it still moves at the same speed regardless of the amount of chakra put into it. Upon finishing with a Ram Seal the water is then converged into an orb encompassing the water formerly used to flood the area into an orb dome (if done on land) of sorts with a radius of 80 ft (160 ft diameter). This results in a devastating ninjutsu capable extending water over a large scale, that surges and rise up 50 feet into the air. Then it streams down to the ground in one big whirling cascade with a 25 ft radius, much like a gigantic waterfall at Blinding Light speeds. In doing so, it resembles a huge wave, with tremendous power that can hollow out the ground due to dealing S-rank Water Release chakra based damage. What remains after this technique's utilization is reminiscent of no less than the aftermath of a natural disaster as it leaves a trough 100 ft long and 50 ft in both depth and width. This is a considerably advanced ninjutsu, and activating this technique requires a fair amount of chakra if the water produced is generated from the mouth. Description: Req. Water Release: Mist Rain & Water Release: Water Shark Bullet to be learnt. The Water Release: Great Shark Bullet Technique is a stronger version of the Water Release: Water Shark Bullet Technique empowered by water materia from the Mist Rain technique. The user creates a gigantic shark out of water (which reaches up to 60 ft in the air) and, by thrusting both hands forward, sends it to attack the opponent moving at Ripping Discord Speeds. This technique differs from the original, since this is able to absorb the chakra from an opponent's technique and in turn, use that chakra to grow larger and more powerful. Therefore, the stronger the opponent's technique is, the stronger this technique will get, however even without any boosts from the victim's chakra it is a powerful technique capable of dealing SS-rank water release damage upon impact while being able to cover up to 240 ft to leave a massive trough in the place hit 120 ft wide and possessing a depth of 60 ft. Everything within that impact is literally churned up by the violent waves of water this particular technique is especially useful when used to combat those with heavy chakra use like the Bijuu. Depending on the type of chakra absorbed by this technique it factors into it's strength; if the chakra is strong against water it doesn't increase the size or the strength and it's upper limit is dependent on the water materia available, if the chakra is neutral against water it only increases the size while if it's weak against water then it increases both size and strength. After making hand seals the user creates a massive orb of water (30 ft radius) over the course of 13 P.T, that once complete releases countless water sharks that rapidly assault the opponent at Ripping Discord Speeds. After making the hand seals during the activation time the user refrains from making the last hand seal (Ox) during which they are unable to use any techniques which use that hand seal lest they forcibly end this one (wasting their chakra price) Each water shark actually only deals B-rank Water Release Damage similar to a Water Shark Bullet however due to their numbers it can overwhelm multiple opponents or stack with one another do deal serious damage to a single opponent. If the orb is released underwater, the strength of the sharks is greatly enhanced and set numbers of them them can collide with a target to result in enormous implosions which deal Water Release damage equivalent to the amount of sharks involved. They can travel up to 120 ft away from the user if used out of a water source or 240 ft away from the user if used underwater. Each individual water shark is capable of being destroyed by a B-rank technique and possesses B-rank Strength allowing them to chew through objects they come in contact with often times they are capable of assisting one another in order to combat things more durable than they can chew through. Name: Water Release: Rain Tiger at Will Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: SSS (Variable Chakra Price) Class: Supplementary Range: AOE (Scope)
Description: The Rain Tiger at Will Technique is a contact-type perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra to change the very weather of a Place, Location or even an entire Hidden Village depending on how powerful it's user is. After making hand seals the rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the user's own chakra said clouds forming at Echoing Flash speeds. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the user's senses granting them SSS-rank Presence Sensory in combination with whatever senses they possess naturally. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone familiar to the user, the existence of the intruder can be detected. The detection of the rain, however, is not specific as the user can only know if someone has entered the vicinity of the rain but not where specifically they are unless they are within a set distance away from the user. Upon knowing an intruder has entered the rain's vicinity, they need someone who specializes in covering large areas to find the intruder's specific location. However so long as the rain continues to fall the user is made aware of everything within a set radius to pinpoint levels of accuracy rendering almost all concealment techniques moot so long as they are SSS-rank & below. The strength of this technique is such that the rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it or if the weather is changed forcibly by a SS-rank or higher AOE technique geared at changing the climate. Name: Water Release: Great Megalodon Bullet Technique Classification: Ninjutsu (Kinjutsu) Rank: Z (Z-rank Blood Price + Z-rank Chakra Price, Variable Water Price) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Mid (Height), Long (Width), AOE (Distance)
Description: Req. Water Release: Megalodon Bullet & Water Release: Great Shark Bulle to be learnt. The Water Release: Great Megalodon Bullet Technique is a stronger version of the Water Release: Water Megalodon Bullet technique empowered by chakra draining water materia similar to the methods employed by the Great Shark Bullet. The user creates a titanic megalodon out of water (which reaches up to 80 ft in the air) and, by thrusting both hands forward, sends it to attack the opponent moving at Echoing Flash Speeds. This technique differs from the original, since this is able to absorb the chakra from an opponent's technique and in turn, use that chakra to grow larger and more powerful. Therefore, the stronger the opponent's technique is, the stronger this technique will get, however even without any boosts from the victim's chakra it is a powerful technique capable of dealing Z-rank water release damage upon impact while being able to cover up to 320 ft to leave a massive trough in the place hit 160 ft wide and possessing a depth of 80 ft. Everything within that impact is literally churned up by the violent waves of water this particular technique is excellent when used to combat those with heavy chakra use like the Bijuu. Amount of Water Materia (Mist Rain) - Chakra Absorbed (Size Increase, Dmg Increase) S - A or Below (+5 to all ranges, +B-rank Dmg) SS - S (+10 to all ranges, +A-rank Dmg) SSS - SS (+15 to all ranges, +S-rank Dmg) 2 SSS - SSS (+20 to all ranges, +SS-rank Dmg) 3 SSS - SSS+ (+25 to all ranges, +SSS-rank Dmg) Z - Z (+30 to All ranges, +Z-rank Dmg) *Note: SSS-rank+ refers to SSS-rank techniques which are capable of destroying other SSS-rank techniques due to possessing defense piercing/slicing etc.

| Mental Based Water Release Techniques- Genjutsu:
Name: Tidal Illusion Style Classification: Fighting Style Rank: C-rank Class: Supplementary, Offensive Range: Self (Genjutsu), Varies
Description: This is a unique genjutsu fighting style which branches away from the original method of utilizing a genjutsu technique by incorporating the Water Release Nature Transformation. The Tidal Illusion Style is a hybrid of tactile and auditory genjutsu which in addition to being able to be triggered by layering genjutsu within a Water Release (G. Water & Aqua count as well) technique can have it's trigger requirements met upon the feel or sound of water, mist or rain. Due to being elemental in nature like other elemental genjutsu types it overpowers ambient genjutsu when put against it however it suffers from the same elemental weaknesses and strengths as normal water. When layering a Tidal Illusion inside of a Water Release technique the genjutsu are only required to be placed in spoilers if the opponent has a chakra sensory technique which allows one to analyze the amount of chakra put into a technique or possesses genjutsu detection equal to the rank of the genjutsu being layered. Upon contact with such a technique this type of genjutsu is called a chakra trigger which can only be Kai'd out of if an individual has Endurance Tiers equal to the rank of the Water Release technique which struck them. While this style is not required to unlock access to Tidal Illusions (Water Release Genjutsu), it is required to get the styles benefits.

Hybrid Based Water Release Techniques- Nintaijutsu:
Name: Water Release: Chakra Mode Classification: Nintaijutsu Rank: A-rank (A-rank Chakra Drain Each Post) Class: Supplementary/Defensive Range: Self
Description: The user wraps their body in a layer of water chakra using chakra flow that, instead of being used offensively, is used to insulate their brain cells granting them increased fortitude (A-rank), which when used with natural tiers to make them on par with samurai (A+). The defensive aspect of this technique comes from it's ability to shroud the user in water creating a layer which is capable of taking damage from up to A-rank Hybrid based damage sources before failing (damage stacks). When utilized at it's peak (A+ Barrier Tiers) the user is capable of swimming, enhancing their underwater movement speed by bolstering the distance covered in 1 P.T by 4 ft. This mode, combined with taijutsu, allows the users to utilize nintaijutsu (Water Release: Internal Damaging Hybrid). When utilizing this technique alongside actual Nintaijutsu techniques however it allows opponents to suffer from damage to their internal organs when struck by the user's hits dependent on the user's strength tier. Name: Water Release: Chakra Armor Classification: Nintaijutsu Rank: S (Activation Price) Class: Supplementary/Defensive Range: Self
Description: The user wraps their body in a layer of Water chakra using chakra flow that, instead of being used offensively, is used to insulate their brain cells granting them increased fortitude (S-rank) when used with natural tiers to make them with samurai (S+). This mode, combined with taijutsu, allows the users to utilize nintaijutsu (Water Release: Internal Damaging Hybrid). When using the Armour at full power (S-rank+ Barrier), it causes the user's hair & clothing to flow as if underwater, and their eyes to glow white when seen with chakra vision. While this is active, the user is capable of swimming, enhancing their underwater movement speed by bolstering the distance covered in 1 P.T by 5 ft. The number of post (total) the user can maintain this technique is not only based on their skill level but likewise their Endurance Tiers. Likewise thanks to surrounding their body with Water the user is encased in it requiring a S-rank Defense Piercing hybrid (& equivalents) technique good against Water Release to even damage them. | Water Release Fighting Styles- Spoiler:
Name: Water Heaven's Convergence Classification: Fighting Style Rank: S Class: Supplementary, Offensive, Defensive Range: Self (Water Release Ninjutsu), AOE (Terrain)
Description:Req. at least High Water Affinity. This unique fighting style enables the user to control water and moisture around oneself bypassing the need for hand seals in order to utilize ninjutsu techniques. As a result it can be used to block most incoming attacks, bind or drown opponents, and shape the water into various attacks while looking as if the user is not using any ninjutsu at all when in actuality they are merely utilizing numerous techniques without the aid of hand seals thus preventing interruption by Iaido users. It is able to extract and utilize groundwater, and as is very effective most humid areas, but useless in dry rocky areas. As a result depending on the terrain the rank of techniques that can be used by this fighting style varies whereas the weather of the area determines how much materia is able to be extracted from the environment to fuel techniques. Rank of User (Range Available) - Weather (Materia Available for Use) D (Contact) - Clear Skies/Blizzard (D) C (Contact-Short) - Cloudy/Hail (C) B (Contact-Mid) - Humid/Snow (B) A (Contact-Long) - Fog/Rainy (A) S (Contact-AOE) - Heavy Rain/Thunderstorm (S) "Z" (Scale up to 3x) - Hurricane (SS) "X" (Scale up to 5x) - Rotating Thunderstorm/Tsunami (SSS)
Dry Terrain (Tech Restrictions) - Wet Terrain (Tech Restrictions) Rocky/Mountainous (All) - Aquatic such as River, Lake or Ocean (None) Desert (Up to D with V. High Affinity) - Swamp/Bog (Up to Z) Wasteland/Canyons (Up to D with High Affinity) - Jungle/Rain-forest (Up to SSS) Hills (Up to D) - Forest (Up to SS) Tundra (Up to C) - Savannah (Up to S) Cave (Up to B) - Grassland/Plains (Up to A) *Note: Req. Summoning Technique. This technique has a special feature if one possesses it and the summoning technique. As a result it allows the user in conjunction with the Summoning Technique to allow aquatic summons to fight in areas that they normally need water to move around by either trapping the target in the same water or summoning within one of their water release ninjutsu techniques.
Hidden Village Exclusives (Dipu)Because Dipugakure (The Village Hidden within the Abyss) specializes in Water Release it like it's other Hidden Village counterparts has access to techniques which are unable to be learned anywhere else & have signatured even some of the techniques in Canon. While this does not mean they are unable to be learned it does mean that they are only taught in Dipugakure either usually at a certain rank, and Dipu Nin are expressly forbidden to teach them to Non-Dipugakure shinobi. An exception can only be made by a PC Kage. In addition rarely techniques are still spread around despite attempts of secrecy due to missing nin, stealing of scrolls or simply disobeying orders, in such cases the technique may be in the master list albeit in a variant or less mastered form. Furthermore like all Hidden Villages Dipugakure gained it's impressive technique list due to contributions from it's clans and active or retired shinobi. As a result Dipugakure Shinobi can submit techniques to be added to the list and will be compensated accordingly (Xel), clans can also make contribution typically submitting less complex or alternate variants of the original technique so as to maintain their clans advantage if encountering it in the field. - Dipu Exclusive Water Release techniques:
Name: Water Release: Hiding in Mist Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Supplementary Range: AOE
Description: The Hiding in Mist Technique is a speciality of the ninja from Dipugakure, where one causes a mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it while it is spread over a 40ft radius around the user remaining fixed in place until cancelled or dispersed. It can't fool the Zenreigan due to it's X-ray capabilities, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, while any chakra vision or moisture sensory capable dojutsu (Itsugan, Bakufukogan etc) will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu. The Dipugakure specific add on to the notorious Hidden Mist technique involves said shinobi holding the Ox-hand seal post making the hand seals to initate the technique, expending an additional chakra price each turn, in order to saturate the mist with more water making it denser and thus more difficult to see through rather than the basic version which seems so spread around. While capable of being cleared by a D-rank Area Clearing technique, which are often of the wind release variety, when saturated it requires Area Clearing techniques equal to the density of the mist. Density of Mist (Chakra Price Per Turn) - Chakra Vision Blinded (Reaction to see through) D (D) - D (C = Quartered Seeing Distance in Mist) C (3 D) - C (B = Quartered Seeing Distance in Mist) B (C) - B (A = Halved Seeing Distance in Mist) A (B) - A (S = Halved Seeing Distance in Mist) S (A) - S (SS- = Normal Seeing Distance in Mist)
Name: Water Release: Hiding in Drizzle Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Supplementary Range: AOE
Description: Req. a C-rank Water Source currently active on the field. The user generates drizzle to hide themselves and/or their comrades in it while covering an 80ft radius around the user. However, the technique is useless in areas with little moisture, as it prevents it from taking effect however it can be effectively used after a technique has already increased the moisture in the air like the Hidden Mist technique. It can be considered an enhanced version of the Hiding within the Mist technique however the Dipugakure specific version is meant for use as both a set up and a modifier for Water Release: Mist Rain Technique. This allows it to essentially bridge a connection between the Hidden Mist technique & the Mist Rain technique rather than paying the constant chakra price the mist's opacity lasts as long as the Mist Rain Technique is active. Similarly the is now used to conceal the area mixed with the mist which makes it difficult for even reaction tiers to see through while those with Time-Slowing Dojutsu will be hampered due to the numerous rain drops falling from the sky. This technique fairs very well in areas with high concentrations of moisture which only improves this techniques ability to resist being dispersed by area dispersal techniques weak or neutral to water release. Water Source - Drizzle Intensity (Area Dispersal Technique Req.) N/A - D D - C C - B B - A A - S
Name: Water Release: Hiding in Rain Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Supplementary Range: AOE
Description: Req. Hidden Mist Technique & Hidden Drizzle Technique to be learned. The user generates rain to hide themselves and/or their comrades in taking aspects from it's predecessors (Hidden Mist & Hidden Rain) while acting as a method of generating water materia for the user to use to supply their water release techniques. The rain's intensity is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it while it is spread over a 40ft radius around the user remaining fixed in place until cancelled or dispersed. It can't fool the Zenreigan due to it's X-ray capabilities, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, while any chakra vision or moisture sensory capable dojutsu (Itsugan, Bakufukogan etc) will see the rain coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu. Furthermore due to the numerous droplets falling from above it negates the advantage time-slowing dojutsu possess if they do not have B-rank or higher reaction tiers (Kyougan, below 2nd Stg Raidengan) The Dipugakure specific add on to this technique involves said shinobi holding the Ox-hand seal post making the hand seals to initate the technique, expending an additional chakra price each turn, in order to increase the moisture of the area due to raining down more water making said rain more intense and thus more difficult to see through rather than the basic version which seems so spread around. While capable of being cleared by a B-rank Area Clearing technique, which are often of the wind release variety, when saturated it requires Area Clearing techniques equal to the intensity of the rain. Name: Water Release: Mist Rain Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A (B-rank Chakra & B-rank Water Materia Price) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Mid, Long (Within Hidden Mist), AOE (Within Hidden Drizzle)
Description: A technique only known by those within the Dipugakure Hunter-Nin Corps however can be taught to Tokubetsu Jonin or very rarely Genin who are an apprentice to a Hunter Nin (S-Class Hunter Nin included). Which after making hand seals, the user makes rain which eats up any chakra when it comes in contact with that is not of the same signature as the original user, causing them to lose a C-rank of chakra each post this technique is active. It first forms a pool of water above the area in question either 40ft, 80ft or 160ft in the air before raining down the water to cover a 40ft, 80ft or 160ft radius (80ft, 160ft or 320ft diameter) causing it to rain down all over those underneath it's radius of effect. This technique can be altered when in the presence of allies in order to include their signatures however it requires double the preparation time to do so. In order to prepare this technique it requires a constant price of 3 D-ranks each of the user's post over a period of 10 posts (total) with the 10th post the user paying the remaining amount of chakra to facilitate this A-rank technique. When incorporating others it extends to 20 posts (total) with the same cost while paying the remaining amount of chakra on the 20th post. During the build up the water pooling begins to condense around the area and this technique does not need to be placed in spoiler tags until it is ready to be started. This technique lasts 20 posts and fills in for rainy conditions that some techniques gain bonuses from. The more skilled the user is the more proficient in this technique they become which is used primarily to decrease the preparation time. Rank of User - Preparation Time in P.T (Ally Version) C (Elite & Below) - 10 P.T or 20 P.T B - 8 or 18 B (Elite) - 6 or 16 A - 4 or 14 A (Elite) - 2 or 12 S & Above - 1 or 10
Name: Dipugakure Style: Water-Cutting Sword Classification: Ninjutsu/Kenjutsu Rank: A-rank (A-rank Chakra Price. Variable Water Materia Price) Class: Offensive Range: Short
Description: This is a technique which was gifted to the Hunter-Nin Corps upon the Zakiyoshi Clan's entry into the village early in it's formation. This technique utilizes the user's mastery of water control to fashion edged weapons with the water gathered while if additional water materia is used the weapons can be increased and decreased in size at vacuum release speeds. The majority of the time it is seen as a katana like sword. The technique is most useful against fire element users as the weapon can block and cut through A-rank and below Fire Release techniques with ease. Through Fire Release chakra flow the edged weapon can be heated resulting in not only dealing A-rank water release physical slicing damage but likewise being able to inflict A-rank scalding water release chakra damage on victims inflicting burns (inflict A-rank pain with every movement) which can only be healed by medical ninjutsu A-rank or above which deal with burns caused by liquids. Due to being formed from Water Release chakra however, it destabilizes when anything strong against Water Release technique comes in contact with it. Multiple shapes can be formed each one having it's own word-count and each taking a D-rank technique slot upon being learned while when the mid-range version of this technique is used all Short-range Kenjutsu techniques have their range increased by +10 ft. Name: Water Release: Grudge Rain Classification: Combination Technique Rank: S (Variable Chakra Price) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Mid, Long (Within Hidden Drizzle), AOE (Within Hidden Rain)
Description: Req. 2 or more users who possess the Mist Rain Technique. This technique is known for seeming to require a multitude of users when this is in fact false, the more users preforming this technique the more effective it is and the less draining it is to maintain. The users create a large pool of water following the same system as the Mist Rain Technique. It is formed above the area in question either 50ft, 100ft or 200ft in the air before raining down the water to cover a 50ft, 100ft or 200ft radius (100ft, 200ft or 400ft diameter) causing it to rain down all over those underneath it's radius of effect constantly draining a fixed amount of chakra from all of those not involved in it's creation. The large amount of rain can turn into a large wave of water and sweeps the enemies within the area of effect off their feet at Blinding Light speeds unless they possess S-rank strength to root themselves in place. Upon being knocked off their feet as long as the targets are trapped by the water, their chakra will be continuously drained while they are unable to swim to the surface unless they either possess a S-rank Speed+Strength Tier Chain or an S-rank Aquatic movement technique. This technique is a constant cycle with the rainwater turning into a swirling wave which is condensed back into the pool in the air in order maintain the rain without limit as long as it is supplied with chakra. The chakra price to maintain this technique each turn varies on the amount of users, likewise the average skill of the users determines how much chakra is drained each post (total) by those within the rains area of effect or trapped in the swirling water wave. Name: Water Release: Rain Water Shark Wave (Signature) Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: S (SS-Rank Chakra Price) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Mid (Original Sharks), Long (Height), AOE (Droplet Sharks)
Description: Req. Mist Rain Technique. This is an improvement on the Mist Rain technique for a more combat focused purpose rather than being just an AOE concealment and capture technique. The user slams his palm onto a nearby water surface, sending a large surge of water into the air (100 ft). This water then forms into a number of water sharks, which then rush towards the target from above each moving at Blinding Light speeds covering a radius of 50 ft (100 ft diameter). Should these sharks be attacked, the water that composes them simply reforms into countless droplet-sized sharks, which continue to rain down upon the target and inflict damage whenever they come into contact with them spreading along a radius of 200 ft (400 ft diamter). The sharks both in their original and in their shark droplet form eat up any chakra they come in contact with that is not of the same signature as the original user, causing them to loose either a B-rank of chakra (original shark) or a variable amount of chakra (rain droplets) each post this technique is active. This technique can be altered when in the presence of allies in order to include their signatures however it requires double the preparation time to do so. In order to prepare this technique it requires a constant price of 3 D-ranks each of the user's post over a period of 15 posts (total) with the 15th post the user paying the remaining amount of chakra to facilitate this A-rank technique. When incorporating others it extends to 30 posts (total) with the same cost while paying the remaining amount of chakra on the 30th post. During the build up the water pooling begins to condense around the area and this technique does not need to be placed in spoiler tags until it is ready to be started. This technique lasts 30 posts and fills in for rainy conditions that some techniques gain bonuses from however if combined with the Hidden Mist it also fills in for Foggy conditions while if combined with the Hidden Drizzle technique it fills in for Heavy Rain conditions. Name: Dipugakure Style: Silent Killing Classification: Fighting Style Rank: B-rank Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Self
Description: This technique is typically taught to Dipugakure ANBU and has been passed down from generation to generation having been refined by the Naito clan upon first joining Dipugakure however with their reformation into the Rikigaku Clan the only trace of their pure legacy remains within the Dipugakure Hunter Corps. As the name suggests, this technique is simply a very quiet method of killing an opponent, usually from behind with a blade. Additionally, because the user moves silently, it cannot be defended against, because the attack cannot be anticipated resulting in Time-Slowing Dojutsu as well as Muscle Tension being incapable of being used as vision aids for reaction time. The user will often slit their opponent's throat, preventing any cry that might give them away while moving so silently that those without either A-rank or above Sound Sensory, a B-rank Sound Release auditory sensory technique or B-rank Reaction Tiers + Heightened Hearing are unable to hear them moving. Depending on the individuals reaction tiers they will react to the user's Kenjutsu after a set time period. Reaction Tier = P.T Delay before Reacting Tier- = 5 P.T Tier = 4 P.T Tier+ = 3 P.T Tier++ = 2 P.T 1-rank Above Tier- = 1 P.T
Name: Dipu Style Silent Killing: Throw Voice Classification: Taijutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self (Voice), Mid
Description: Req. Hidden Mist technique to be active on field. A basic silent killing technique common among Dipugakure ANBU which entails the throwing of the user's voice in order to confuse those without sound sensory above C-rank due to their voice coming from different locations. They have learned how to use the water particles comprising their saturated mist to aid them with this technique as if it is unsaturated then this technique is unable to be utilized properly. Depending on how saturated the individual's Hidden Mist technique is the user's voice can be "thrown" across different distances relative to their position. That coupled with the proper use of the silent killing method renders sound sensory even more of a moot point when trying to locate a proper user of the silent killing method. Mist Saturation - Distance in ft Voice emanates from D - Up to 10 ft C - Up to 20 ft B - Up to 30 ft A - Up to 40 ft S - Up to 50 ft
Name: Dipu Style Silent Killing: Aquatic Combat Classification: Taijutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Defensive Range: Self, Contact (Short-AOE)
Description: Req. AOE source of Water active on field. Those ANBU who are capable of utilizing the Silent Killing style native to Dipugakure are so skilled in fighting on, or within water that their ability to not make sounds extends to that type of terrain. To that end while running, diving, jumping or fighting in aquatic terrain they keep the effect of Dipu Style Silent Killing, while with additional skill they can render themselves undetectable to B-rank or below Water Displacement Sensory. This concealment is limited as those sensors who are farther than 3 ft away from them are able to detect them, but those within that range are unable to do so. This distance can be expanded if the Hidden Mist (15 ft), Hidden Drizzle (30 ft), Hidden Rain (60 ft) or Grudge Rain (120 ft) are active on the field.
Name: Dipu Style Silent Killing: Hand Seal Concealment Classification: Taijutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self. Hearing Range
Description: This technique is a refinement of the ability to conceal the sound of making hand seals under the philosophy of the Dipugakure style of Silent Killing. To that end an ANBU member learns how to render their use of hand seals silent to those without B-rank or above Sound Release based sensory while those reliant on normal sound sensory require their hearing at set levels to hear the user's hand seals. Due to the fact that the user is adept at concealing the sound of their hand seals they become more perceptive of those who make them with this technique counting as a B-rank sensory technique when it comes to picking up the sound of hand seals. This Hearing based sensory capability is improved when under the effect of the Hidden Mist (Raised), Hidden Drizzle (Heightened), Hidden Rain (Enhanced) or Grudge Rain (Max). Rank - Hearing Level to Detect D - Normal C - Raised B - Heightened A - Enhanced S - Max
Name: Dipu Style Silent Killing: Feigned Death Classification: Taijutsu Rank: A-rank (1 Clone & 4 Stamina Price) Class: Supplementary Range: Self (Clone), Contact (Without Cover), Short (With Cover)
Description: Requires an Active Clone technique on the field. This is a useful technique within the Dipugakure Style of Silent Killing which involves the user feigning their death through the use of a clone. While in battle with another opponent the user is capable of switching positions with one of their clones when an opponent loses track of them with opponents requiring A-rank Reaction Tiers or an A-rank sensory technique to not fall for the switch. This technique relies on subtle repositioning as well as the user's clone being within 4 ft of the user prior to the switch. The switch speed is dependent on the user's speed, as such this technique can not be used to avoid attacks faster than the user, nor can it be used to avoid things that the user is incapable of perceiving which causes this technique to be more effective in the hands of fast reflexive combatants. However this technique is far more effective when used under the cover of the Hidden Mist, Hidden Drizzle, Hidden Rain or Grudge Rain as due to the cover acting as an additional distraction the user is capable of switching with clones who are within 20 ft of them. When a switch occurs the clone used is destroyed by the avoided blow, allowing the user to feign death, and the number of clones the user is capable of fielding is permanently lowered by 1 for the rest of the topic. Due to being an escape technique, this technique is not required to be placed in spoiler tags until it is revealed.
Name: Dipugakure Style: Blood-Rending Blade Classification: Kinjutsu/Kenjutsu Rank: S-rank (A-rank Blood Price, 5 Stamina Price, Variable Materia Price) Class: Supplementary Range: Self (Blade), Short-Mid (Shapeshifting)
Description: This technique takes the concept of creating a flexible yet malleable sword and applies Kinjutsu principles to it resulting in the formation of a blade comprised of the user's life-force. Those within the Dipugakure ANBU Corps use this technique in order to create their own Blade, which is a combination of gathered materia, their blood and their physical energy (stamina) these are placed on top of a specially prepared pedestal which is prepare typically by the sacrifice of an individual in honor of Susano'o. This ceremony was brought to Dipugakure by a roaming bandit clan which were persuaded to join Dipugakure by the 1st Abisukage, and results in a liquid blade which is bound to the user's soul. The basic shape is specified by the user and while it lacks any special abilities beyond the materials used in it's formation, it is capable of shifting forms to be more versatile in combat. Despite it's formation this weapon deals physical damage if utilized with kenjutsu and only deals spiritual based damage if used with kinjutsu, however it is resilient against S-rank & below spiritual based techniques regardless of the technique it is used with. It may or may not contain other resistances which are based on the materials used in it's composition however depending on the rank of the user the amount of materials (up to S-rank of each) that can be used to form a Blood-Rending Blade vary. Once formed this technique is incapable of being used to form a new blade and the user is capable of storing this blade like any normal blade so long as it remains in their "Bank". To that end this means the user is capable of storing it like normal weapons, but others will require at least an Iron Armor Seal in order to seal it away due to it possessing part of the user's Soul. If this weapon is destroyed, so long as it isn't by a S-rank or above Soul destroying, Corruption or Erasure technique it will eventually reform after a set amount of topics based on the user's age. Multiple shapes can be formed each one having it's own word-count and each taking a D-rank technique slot upon being learned while when the mid-range version of this technique is used all Short-range Kenjutsu techniques have their range increased by +25 ft. Name: Dipugakure Silent Killing: Eight Points Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: SS-rank Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Contact, Self (Victims)
Description: Those trained in the Dipugakure ANBU are taught to aim for eight specific points which can result in instant death towards weak opponents such as Clones, Bandits. Swabbies, Constructs (which possess one or more of the Eight Points) and other fodder-tier opponents. These points are; the larynx, spine, lungs, liver, jugular, subclavian artery, kidneys, and heart. However the true purpose of this technique is to give a user of this style the ability to deal with opponents who are larger than the user allowing them depending on their skill to bypass the Size Damage reduction. This allows the user when targeting one of those eight points to inflict the same amount of damage they would towards a Humanoid target resulting in lethal consequences. While a simple technique, users of this technique become adept at keeping track of those weak points with those with higher reaction tiers being able to identify where more are located on a target's body even if they do not possess a humanoid body shape. For that reason out of the Republic of Five, the Dipugakure ANBU are the best geared towards Assassination in comparison to their peers. Rank - Size Reduction Bypassed - Reaction Tier (Eight Points Located) D - Medium S - D (Larynx) C - Medium M - C (Spine) B - Medium L - B (Lungs) A - Medium XL - A (Liver) S - Large S - S (Jugular) "Z" - Large M - SS (Subclavian Artery) "X" - Large L - SSS (Heart)
