Hidden Kobold Style (Kobotia's Path)

The northern forest wasn't like the previous forest they've entered in he past, it was more sophisticated. there were rules and consequences for breaking those rules "never Enter At Night" or at least that's what the beast lived by. Yet the kobolds would travel until they finally stopped, they would sit for a couple moments before a group of three would venture into their hunting ground. The female who wore a bright and shiny plate, while a sword sleep comfortable on her back and she would bring her Horned Foal, glad in it's own shiny armor, to a halt putting both of her hands out to stop the two who traveled behind her. Well the shorter man walked into her palm before stopping as he realized something was amiss with the young miss he would place his hands at his waist to grab onto his knife with a long curve in the middle of it. The beastwoman on the other side wasn't able to control the weight in the front of her body, which cause her to protect the pair of weights with her arms after miss Shyla touched it, her custom made breast plate. The beastwoman's fists already bore the equipment of someone ready to throw hands and she tensed ready for anything.

"Something is Just doesn't feel right." Shyla stated yet she could exactly put her finger on what it was that gave her this feeling, whether is was unusually horrible smell of filth in the air or the tingling feeling that she something was wrong. however she didn't quite know how to describe it. Her trusty steed Hoofington The Third would snort in agitation as being a monster he knew how dangerous it was to be out at night, though it felt a bit of comfort returning to his birthplace the Northern Great Forest.

Koboshiv was the first to spot them and the woman staring at the Earth. She gave off a strange air and both of her bodyguards looked pretty strong as well. Nothing that he couldn't handle of course. They should know that predators lurked in the woods after dark. He slid back slowly to the rest of the Kobolds and pointed out the enemies. He tapped himself and Kobotia before pointing to Layla, he gestured then about going high and then tapped Tia and motioned for low. It was just his plan but it was a decent one, kill the one with the scariest energy about them then focus on the minions. He then pointed to the Hunting Party and pointed them towards the non-Hero to focus on them.

With his plan received, Koboshiv slid away and moved around behind the group before taking a deep breath and then moving in. He kept low to the ground to stay hidden until the last moment when he was behind Shyla. He leapt up and attempted to sink his teeth into her neck as hard as he could, his Foal Horn and his Organic Barb lashing around to carve out her eyes and as deep into her skull as he could reasonably manage to deal as much damage as he could. He trusted that his attack would be a good enough signal for the others to strike.

Spoiler:

Kobotia's eyes would narrow when she heard a voice and she would see the group of things she hadn't seen before apart from the Beastwoman, still it caused her to start to focus. Trying to observe like she usually did, though unless she managed to regain it all she had going for was dissect which she could effectively use to just figure out what parts to target. She would turn to regard Koboshiv who was giving instructions causing her to nod as she agreed with his assessment however she was unsure that allowing the one in shiny armor to remain on her mount was a good idea. Still she would command] the other three in a more in-depth manner as she was the most familiar with their tactics, she wanted a pincer formation Kobodirk & Kobosnek coming from the back and while Koboalpha would come from the side, it was imperative that they focused their assault on one while keeping the other occupied.

As such she would command them to the best of her ability, the plan using signals and going as follows when combat began. Kobosnek would grip his Sickle Mantis Claw with both hands while keeping his Organic Barb in his tail, he was to rush forward and slash at the back of the Beastwoman's knees while passing her by while lashing his tail so that if she tried to pursue she would get a slash at her arm for her trouble. Meanwhile Kobodirk would tackle the Dwarf Horned Rabbit Skull first aiming to penetrate his asshole as he knew it was an effective way to get someone to the ground and would leap on top of the Dwarf with his Organic Barb to stab him in the knee joint hoping to cripple him so he couldn't run away. Koboalpha would then come from the side and tackle the Beastwoman so that he was on top of her the ground and would press his Sickle Mantis Claw's dull edge into her throat to try and choke her.

Kobotia would make sure they understood her perfectly before giving Koboshiv a signal, resulting in him sneaking off along with the rest of the hunting party, this way they came at them from all angles, Kobotia would be the lone one approaching from the front as she knew her Black Wolf equipment would make her more difficult to see under the night sky. She would use Ambient Mana: Growl hoping to stun the rider in place long enough for Koboshiv to successfully target her vulnerable areas while she got to work on crippling the Horned Foal. She would sneak forward with her Organic Barbs in both of her hands and would slash at both of the knees of it's right legs using Dissect to essentially sever it's tibia from it's femur, knowing that such a thing would take it out of the fight due to it's inability to move. She would turn relying on her tried and true multi-attack to aim a slash at the opposite knee of it's rider, as she knew that if the Horned Foal fell towards the right then it was likely it's rider's right leg would be trapped underneath it, which meant her left leg was ripe for dissecting as well.

being that koboshiv would jump out of the shadow and bite the young hero she would let out a scream while leaning forward causing Koboshiv's initial strike with his Organic Barb to badly scour her helmet. This granted the beast woman the chance to look over to her and grab the kobold off of her before anything more serious was done to her. Due to the grabbing the kobold and turning while pulling him downward into the ground she'd be able lean towards the ground and throw a punch in the kobold face, unless the kobold had on a type of protective head gear he wouldn't be a problem for the young miss anymore as his head would've been squashed like a watermelon under pressure, but even if he did his second stab would be interrupted. Her attacking koboshiv wouldn't would stop kobosnek from attacking her, however the tip of the scythe would instead hit her breastplate that protected her torso due to the turn she performed to pull koboshiv off of her boss. however the beast woman was taken off her feet and thrown to the ground, however while being tackled she would throw a punch into the temple of the koboalpha; which would deal damage to him unless he had on protective gear for his head.

The dwarf would turn to his left to look at the young miss, yet due to his size he wasn't able to see koboshiv until he was Pulled onto the ground. This would cause the devastating area kobodirk was aiming for to instead be the thigh of the dwarf which lead kobodirk into his tackle, yet the dwarf would take advantage of the moment the kobold lift him off of his feet since he already had his knife in his hand. he pull his knife out its pouch to stab the kobold at the back of its neck but it didn't seem like it did much as the kobodirk would retaliate by stabbing him in his leg but he didn't know how resilient the dwarfs really are, this causes him to simply throw his knife at the eye of the kobold. unless he had on a form of protection for his head kobodirk would be close to death's door.

due to kobotia's growl not being very effective, this would cause the young hero tolook around to which of her allies had the worse situation, she would instruct her foil to charge straight into kobotia before leaping off of the foil to have it charge to its death by kobotia, which it would do faithfully. the young hero would draw her sword and swing it at the head of koboalpha who at this point was on top of her least useful ally, or at least what the beastwoman thought of herself, yet being a young hero the sword was swung in a flash way with one arm. if koboalpha didn't have something to protect its head it as well would be in lost of its life.

Unfortunately for the Beastwoman, Koboshiv was a tenacious git and wouldn't be pulled off so easily. Rather than allow himself to be grabbed and dragged down, he instead just bit down harder into the Hero's neck, holding on with all his strength which, likely a surprise to the Beastwoman, was equal to her own. This would either mean that the grab would fail, resulting in the Beastwoman getting knocked off her feet and onto the ground with Koboshiv still clinging to Shyla's neck or it would drag Shyla down with both of them, meaning she couldn't attack Koboalpha. Either way, while one of his attacks got interrupted, because he clamped down the other would still go through towards Shyla's face.

With that done he kept his teeth hard on Shyla's neck, his helmet now quite cracked from the Beastwoman's blow but she was distracted. He decided to do as he did before and bring his Foal Horn and his Barb around and into Shyla's eyes once more, digging them in as deep as he could while holding tight to her back with his legs as well this time so he couldn't get dragged off. His bloodlust was up and he refused to lose this fight. He was only one Kobold but he trusted the others to keep the fight up elsewhere and guard him.

Kobotia would quickly finish off the mount circling around it in order to do what she had planned only for things go change rapidly causing her to jump on top of the Horned Foal corpse to get a better vantage point. Using her new position would observe the battle quickly before being forced to make a quick call. "Don't overcommit, take one down and block with your weapons if need be! Kobotia commanded them and growling at the Shyla while relying on her pack to deal with the Beastwoman as previously ordered as she recognized that she was preventing Koboshiv from doing what he did best.

Meanwhile Koboalpha would thankfully be wearing his Stamp Stoat Skull and it would manage to survive the punch from the Beastwoman despite cracking and he knew another blow would probably end up breaking it. As a result he would try to use his body weight and strength on top of her to pin her free arm down before headbutting her in the face, if he was successful he would headbutt her again aiming to knock her unconscious rather than kill her outright. He knew what a Beastwoman could be used for and this one was fresh, thus he couldn't wait to sample her goods. Behind him Kobodirk's prized Horned Rabbit skull was coming in clutch as first it would prevent him from getting knifed in the neck and then it would manage to prevent his eye from being pierced, but he could see that it was going to break anytime soon. As such he would aim a tackle at the bleeding thigh of the Dwarf, preferably striking the open wound to make it worse, if he was successful he would use his Armored Tanuki shell to try and block the Dwarf's follow-up attack. This was to goad him into focusing on him while Kobosnek would sneak from the back and using both hands would slash the side of the Dwarfs face targeting his ear while rushing past him using his tail lashing to once more deter a follow-up attack while running away. This would ensure it was a critical blow while minimizing the chance that he'd die, as Kobosnek too knew about what civilized races could be used for, and he was sure Koboren would appreciate a male.

With the event that koboshiv decided to hold onto to her with his teeth it would effect anything in the plans as she was stronger than him and his size wasn't enough to need more than the strength that she need to move. She would pigback the little misfit as he did some damage to her helm but it wasn't quite to destroy it rather leave it at destructions door, thus wouldn't stop her from moving to koboalpha, once within distance she'd draw her Hero's greatsword ripping though the sheath that was on her as well as throwing koboshiv off of her with the pure Heroic Strength she possessed from all the reps she put into swinging this greatsword. She would swing the greatsword towards koboalpha who heard the sound of ripping and the sound of someone being sent flying into a tree, it would cause him to look at shyla before she was able to swing the blade to cut off his head, instead he'd use his weapon to block the incoming attack; if the force of that attack wasn't great enough to launch him off of his most beloved warrior, The beastwoman would kick him in the sacred area to get him off of her which would sent him upward at the same time her boss would swing the sword at him, the beastwoman would use the time to move back to her feet.

She would look over to shyla who at this point would've used some type of heroic move to finish off the slightly aerial kobold but instead would let him drop to the ground, it wasn't quite like her thus, she would assume that she was stun from the growl the alpha wolf was using. she would instead stay in between the kobold and shyla if any of them, that got sent fly would've choose to come at shyla they would be in for a rude awakening as she was ready to be useful to her master.

the dwarf wasn't exactly a pushover and wouldn't want to be taken as one, he would use his other curve blade to redirect the force from the attack. then would take advantage of the fact that his ruthless leader seem to have need a bit of help, he would throw his last curved weapon at the head of koboalpha which should be the last of the head piece that was stopping the fighter from finishing him, unless he was able to see it coming and block it which would've been odd in his position. yet that choice eventually be the last he would be making for a while.

He was expecting a lot of strength from the Beastwoman and was glad to find he was stronger than her. He was not expecting so much strength from the Hero. Sure enough as she tore her blade out it sent him up into the air and for a moment he thought about what his life had become and why he was here. Something deep inside of him then made him think and he considered... The Bat...

Koboshiv spun in midair and grabbed the edges of his cloak with his feet, using his closed fists to spread it out to see if he could glide like a bat could. What happened next would entirely depend on if he was successful. If Koboshiv was successfully able to Glide with his cloak, he would angle himself and then let go and drop like a missile directly onto Shyla's head, swinging in with both of his weapons to try and power straight through her heavily damage helmet and into her skull. He'd then land on top of her and attempt to bite her throat, adding as much of his falling force as he could into her.

If his Glide failed he'd tuck and roll as he hit the ground, letting the cloak take the falling damage before rushing up behind Shyla. His tail lashed out to slice into the back of her leg before he'd attempt to wrap both of his arms around her waist and throwing his upper body back to pick her up and slam her head-first onto the ground behind him. He knew he wouldn't be able to hold her there, she was stronger than he was but hopefully driving her face first into the dirt would break her helmet and daze her a little bit.

Glide Learned:

If Glide not Learned:

Koboalpha was having the time of his life, it was a high stakes battle with everything on the line and he knew his Alpha was watching him and that made him want to try a bit harder. The Rip and the Tear would cause him to block with his Kama Mantis Claw causing it to break and the Hero's blade to bite into the flesh of his arms while pushing him off from on top of the Beastwoman though it seemed that the bitch decided to try and give him a parting gift. Well not on his watch and he would drop his hands to block the kick to his groin with his Gloves, which thankfully would manage to hold steady despite causing him to be launched into the air before getting hit by a thrown knife prior to the Dwarf being knocked out by Kobosnek. The combination of the knife and him landing on his head would be the final thing to shatter his Stamp Stoat Skull causing his eyes to tear up whilst holding his skull, as he was particularly proud of that piece of equipment.

Koboalpha:

At the same time this was going on Both Kobosnek & Kobodirk would manage to knock out the Dwarf and both of them would turn to see what was going on causing them to see that the Beastwoman was distracted by their Alpha's fearless growl causing them to sneak up to her, coming from behind first was Kobodirk who would use his tried and true Horned Rabbit Tackle, aiming at her butthole. Whether he was blocked or not Kobosnek would follow closely behind him before running up his back and aiming a downward slash in order to essentially smash his Sickle Mantis Claw into her head. He knew that she had been fighting Koboalpha and being that she seemed fertile he would aim to knock her unconscious as well. While this was going on the pressure from Kobosnek's leap would cause Kobodirk to fall to the ground in a slide aiming to take out the Beastwomans legs from under her as some sort of makeshift sliding tackle. Kobosnek wouldn't follow up just in case he needed to hastily block a follow-up from the Beastwoman with his Sickle Mantis Claw as per his Alpha's Command

Kobosnek & Kobodirk:

Kobotia would observe everything going on from her position and would aim to interfere if the Young Hero tried to pursue Koboalpha or was aiming at Koboshiv and she liked how he jumped and for that reason she would jump off the horse corpse before mimicking him albeit using her Gnoll Cloak to attempt to glide like a bat. She would tuck her legs in before letting go and moving into a spinning drop with her Organic Barbs whirling around her to make her look like a falling buzzsaw as she tried to use Dissect to target both of the Shyla Arms while the organic barb in her tail would slash down the middle of her face to split it down the middle or at the very least do such a thing to Shyla's nose. "Drop dead." Kobotia would snarl while she came from the air, as she knew that if she was able to distract Shyla that Koboshiv would be able to capitalize on the attention being taken off of him after all she was the sneakiest of the Kobold's within her back.

Being that the Young hero had been stuned for the moment she was supposed to finish off the kobold, she would recover from the stun to go back to back with her most trusted ally. "??????" The Beastwoman would say to her causing her eyes to jolt upward into the air & this would allow her to see the slippery little kobold who'd refused to just die, being that he was desperate she kind of wanted to keep him as a pet. Anyways, seeing that he was rushing into her she would spin her greatsword around having the tip of it point towards the ground, right in front of her legs that she spread wide enough for koboshiv to make his move. However when his head was underneath the tip of the blade she would use her strength to push downward to break through his helm and finish him off for good this time.

With the beastwoman back-to-back with her long time ally she would essentially try to focus a bit more, yet however she hadn't seen the tag team of Kobosnek & Kobodirk who would intend to tackle her however due to their combined strength she would end up leaning against her ally which would put space between her and the blade of kobosnek who would come afterward kobodirk's attempt to tackle her, causing the blade to damage her breastplate rather than face. However kobodirk would hit the ground and be unable to slide due to his inexperience with the move would watch as their fearless leader would come from above to preforms her usual combination of attacks, which would've gone as planned if it was for the beastwoman turning to punch her in the eye knocking her out of the air which was timed with her second attack to Shyla which due to her being in the air would make her third attack miss entirely.

Now while Koboshiv was hopped up on bloodlust, he still wasn't an idiot and he wasn't going to run into such an obvious attack with her blade held low... Or was he? He continued rushing straight towards her, however the moment she brought the blade up he brought his arm up into the path of it, letting the blade slide across the Black Wolf Beta Gloves that he was wearing and end up deflected off to the side. This of course left Shyla's main body completely open with her blade being moved aside rather than fully blocked or going through.

This meant that Koboshiv was in the perfect position to do as much damage as he could. He brought both of his blades forwards, reaching deep within himself to enhance this strike. This time he wasn't reaching for that physical energy that powered his Reckless Attacks, no there was something else within him that he knew was there. It was that feeling that washed over him when Kobotia growled, the strange blue of an Aqua Barb. He didn't know the proper name for it but he knew it was there and he was reaching for it to empower his blows.

If nothing came, then the blows would still hit real hard as they were aimed directly at the Hero's crotch and were aimed to dig in deep. After his weapon strikes he'd then follow it up by biting down hard onto Shyla's groin and sinking his teeth in almost as hard as he could, he knew his body was pretty roughed up after his initial attack so he wasn't about to do that trick again.

Spoiler:

Kobosnek had been preparing for this moment the moment since when he readied himself to deal with her follow-up, when she punched he wasn't quick enough to stop her but he was quick enough to bring his Sickle Mantis Sickle upward with both hands to slice her elbow joint and hopefully that would be enough damage to minimize the damage she could do. Meanwhile Kobodirk would push off the ground with another tackle using his Horned Rabbit Skull aiming for the Beastwoman's knee hoping to cripple her ability to stand making her more vulnerable. He would pull back right after and follow up with another tackle aiming at her other knee though he wasn't trying to kill her in either case just take her out of the fight like they did the Dwarf as he could now see that Kobosnek and Koboalpha weren't going for the kill.

Spoiler:

Kobotia would shift her Wolf Leader Skull so that the punch would hit it and though she was knocked away it wasn't over, she would channel mana into her throat using Ambient Mana: Growl on the Beastwoman while getting back up jumping from the Foal Coprse to repeat what she had done earlier as she knew from experience that the best way to kill an enemy is to find their strongest weapon, and destroy it. Her multi attack would cause her to strike from the front while Koboshiv struck from beneath and behind, aiming to dissect both of Shyla's shoulders while trying once more to split apart Shyla's face with the organic barb she kept in her tail.

Koboalpha would get up from the ground and upon seeing the shattered remains of his Stamp Stoat Helmet something he had as his first carve well it infuriated him and he would blame only one person, Shyla since the Dwarf was now unconscious and he would rush forward before crying out with as much bloodlust as he had hoping to at least distract the Young Hero long enough for his Alpha & Beta to finish her off.

The Human would be knocked out. Quick and simply they would be sprawled on the ground, defenseless. They were done for as the last thought was a prayer and an image of home. Rest in Peace as no one who ever fell in these forest have ever come out alive. Sure that was more of a rare occurrence it brought even more final shame.

The Beastwoman would feel their muscles begin to lock. Slowly losing all control of their muscles. With one final roar they collapsed to the ground. Stunned. So many thoughts rushing through their head. But the one final being. Damn. Why didn't I just nurse the young ones today... If she could fight she would. But her body betrayed her. No matter how hard she willed it she wouldn't move. Crap.

Spoiler:

She was finally down! So many attempts, so many rebuffed and deflected attacks, so much anger. Koboshiv for the first time let his fury out, the gates burst open and he howled in rage, raising both of his weapons and stabbing them down into the Hero's throat. He wanted some of her armour so with her unconscious he did his best to avoid it but he was incredibly pissed off and he'd had enough of this. He wanted her dead, he wanted her blood staining his hands, his fur, his weapons. He even leaned down and sank his teeth into her throat, drinking her very blood before he leaned back, breathing heavily.

He knew the rest of his team would be able to take down the Beastwoman, he was enjoying his time for the moment but he made sure to watch out for any attacks from the woman so he could block or dodge them, his breathing was heavy but he felt... Powerful... Very powerful. That precipice was rapidly approaching, he could feel it.

Spoiler:

"Let's knock her unconscious while she's stunned." Kobotia said and would get to work doing just that leaving Koboshiv to finish Shyla off while she rushed back to the Foal Corpse jumping off and then trying to do the glide combo again because it was a really cool idea and damn it she wanted to use Multi-Attack to target the Beastwoman's arms while Kobodirk aimed at her left knee while Kobosnek aimed with both hands at her knee. If she was successful it would hopefully be enough to knock-out the Beastwoman before all of them would slump to the ground with exhaustion after a hard won fight.

Spoiler:

The Kobold hunting unit would surprisingly take down the young hero's party and killed young hero shyla, the group would experience a surge of exhaustion similar to when they defeat the black wolf leader. they would fall to the floor, without hurting themselves of course, to enter a deep sleep. "congratulations on defeating young hero Shyla" would appear to them within their dreams, hours would pass by unitl they would finally awaken in the day time. due to their forced nap they would have to return back to the den to see what'd happen with the cave while they slept.

The first thing that both Kobotia and Koboshiv saw when they woke up were three monsters two of which were sitting atop their new captives while the third was sitting in-between them seemingly waiting for them to wake up. Me, Gnoloalpha now. Them Kjobosnek & Kobadirk." Gnoloalpha said his appearance radically different due to being a yellow furred Hyena-like Humanoid sized kobold with light-green wing markings adorning his arms & legs. Of the other two only Kobadirk looked similar, while Kjobosnek was a larger Humanoid sized version of the Kobolds he was previously. Kobadirk was holding what seemed to be an Organic Bow towards the neck of the unconscious Beastwoman while Kjobosnek had longer limbs in proportion to his body and his tail which held his organic barb within it seemed longer & fully prehensile considering it was wrapped around his waist at the moment.

Koboshiv:

Before she fully woke up she would hear a voice in her head no longer being that of the multitude of Great Gods & Goddesses but instead the voice of a single Demi-God, namely that of the Demi-God of Blood. Due to fulfilling requirements Rare Superior Species is available: Urd Ninja (Blessing of the Demi-God of Blood). Due to Ranking up you can now see your status by thinking "Status" in your mind She would wake up after selecting her choice only to witness Koboalpha..no Gnoloalpha if she went by his introduction, explaining to her who he was and what the Alpha Hunting Party had ranked up to. Urnotia would smile with a stretch with her newly gained wings stretching to their full length in response much to her surprise. It was weird seeing her Organic Barbs stored within her wingtips and she would spy her last organic barb the one that she got from killing the female alpha alongside Koborunt and would place it in her tail, perhaps next rank-up she'll be able to incorporate that one as she felt that it had remained the same unlike the other two. which looked like blades. She would examine them and her ears would twitch causing her to concentrate on moving them as she realized she could control their movement more than her ears as a Kobold. It was weird, she knew in her head that she used to be smaller and yet she didn't feel like she couldn't walk with her new size. "Hm. I guess I'll be Urnotia, and what about you Koboshiv?" she said turning to look at her Beta...

Kobotia:

The words that flashed through Koboshiv's mind solidified into a single voice, feminine and soothing. He looked over his options and then reached out to choose the ones he wanted. As he selected Flind, it changed and the voice spoke. "Due to fulfilling requirements New Superior Species is available: Arctic Flind(Blessing of the Demi-Goddess of Nature). Due to Ranking up you can now see your status by thinking "Status" in your mind." He nodded and made his selection... Then he woke up.

His eyes opened and he rubbed his face as he rose up onto his feet. Since when were the others smaller than him? Since when was he this tall? Shiv looked down over his body, most of his fur had turned a deep, forest green. The markings around his snout were ice white however and snaking brown markings etched their way through his fur and his claws were long, hooked and sharp. With colours like this it'd be even easier to hide. Something clicked in his head and he looked out over the rest of the group, rolling his shoulders. "Flinashiv. I feel... Different, strong." He hummed quietly, his voice far deeper now and he flicked his wrists, both of his barbs sliding out into his hands. That was a new location but he wasn't going to complain about it.

"Let's head back to the Den... Tie these two up, I'll carry them. Someone get the other." He put his barbs away and shook himself out a bit before moving to pick up the Dwarf and the Beastwoman, noting that he was even taller than them now.

It was weird having six limbs but she was quickly growing used to it more than anything she actually wanted to stretch her legs especially now that her armor fit a bit more snugly. She would  frown a bit though at Flinashiv's words as it wasn't like they had a steady supply of rags to use as a rope especially now that some of their party's armor had been destroyed. Still she did keep rags on her so she would offer that as a makeshift rope and Kjobosnek would quickly tie their arms together to make it easier to Flinashiv to carry them. Gnoloalpha would carry Shyla's body leaving Kjobosnek & Kobadirk to gather up the weapons, the greatsword being picked up by the former, and the knives by the latter. Meanwhile Urnotia would head to the front leading the group in addition to scouting for them, this way they would not get ambushed on the way back.
