Myconid Patch

It wasn't much of a sleep for the pregnant Myconid, tossing and turning throughout the night. OrangeRuff trying his best to keep his owner safe and warm while they slept, their fur warm by itself, but with the well of fire magic flowing through it made them just that little bit warmer than expected. When Toad finally woke up in the morning, the pain going on in his cap was excrutiating, almost like something was going to explode out of it, that's when the sudden realization came over him. "It's Coming!!!" He would shout loud enough for any other myconids nearby to hear. The Myconid had no idea on what to do in this situation, so he would just massage his cap until someone more knowledgeable would help out

[Meanwhile in another part of the Patch]


A new Myconid was starting to wake from their birthing slumber, groggy as all hell but it was the first time for him to wake up so it was to be expected. The young mushroom would claw and crawl their way out and open the sockets that his race was able to see out of and notice the beautiful surroundings that was their home. Once they were finally out of soft soil, they would examine their body for any deformities or damage that may have happened, and after they came to the conclusion that he was perfectly normal for all they could tell at the moment. Though physically he was doing fine, he was feeling something.... different. Almost like something within him was also everywhere else, something he would have to investigate this later. Besides the one other myconid screaming about something coming, he really didn't see all that much going on, it was, however, sunrise so it wasn't surprising that nothing was really going on at the moment. So Aaris would waddle over towards the elder of the patch, waving his plantlike arm at it as they approached.

Mushgranny stood tall, humming a soft ton as he watch the new crop of myconids raise from the ground, as the young one popped his head up two others followed behind. When mushaaris began to inspect himself for any impurities, the new pair would do the same; mushkarub took notice to their albino color, on the other hand, mushkhawi seemed to have no impurities however the sound that echo from mushgran caused him to shiver in fear of whatever lurked futther down into the cave. “Come young ones, I Have hopes for all of you.” mushgranny spoke in her sweet voice.

Mushaaris took the lead, walking towards the sound of mushgranny’s voice, followed by musharub then mushkhawi who cowered behind the both of them in hopes that in the worse situation that they would be meat shield so that mushkhawi could get away.
