| Once nyen had returned after training her thoughts were scattered. She had put off thinking about what had happened in dipu on her way to the baths. thousands of questions came in quick concession all of which she couldn't answer herself and because she couldn't exactly speak to Itami who now rested in her gourd nyen decided the only way she would get the answers she needed would be through trial and error. The most persistent question was just what Itami would save her from. Nyen picked up the gourd and slung it over her shoulder, her muscles still stiff and tired from training but she wouldn't need strength for the tests she planned in her head as she stepped out the door of her room. The sun had begun to slip below the horizon and the sky was slowly fading from the bright orange of evening to the deep purple of dusk. Citizens bustled in the streets but unbeknownst to them Nyen stood on one of tall apartments on her back watching the stars slowly appear. She didn't want any of the citizens to see what she was about to do as it would give them quite a shock and since she was in one of the less populated districts, the streets were empty by the time night had fully settled in. Nyen stood, stretching from the stiffness of her training andlooked down over the edge of the building, the streets deserted and dark as even the lanterns had been put out by this time. She detached a small sack that had been attached to her waistband and pulled from it a small blade. Closing her eyes and breathing steadily, she began to draw the knive close to her wrist. If she had done this in public or during the day people who saw would have thought her crazy or suicidal but Nyen knew better. She was merely exploring her newly discovered shield, and a sentient shield at that so as she drew the blade almost to her skin a small hand made of the fine granules itami comprised of slid down her arm and stopped it. Nyen was pleased with the results and decided to continue her experiment but upped the anti a bit, Itami slowly flowing back into her gourd. This time she pulled a small shuriken from the bag and closed her eyes, throwing it into the air above her head. She waited for the pain and the trickle of blood down her forhead but it never came, opening her eyes and looking up she saw once again R'tari strong hand in dust above her and it lowered offering the shuriken back to her. She took it smiling and giggled a bit. Finally she decided she needed to go one step further. Nyen attached the bag to her waist again and stepped to the ledge of the building, making the sure the streets were still empty. Once she was sure no one would see her she took a moment to slow her breathing as the exitement and rush of adrenaline had caused it to quicken. She decided to keep her eyes open for the next part as she wasn't exactly sure if itami would be able to save her from this one. She put both of her feet together and spread her arms wide like the wings of a falcon before leaning forward, letting her body fall flat downward. The ground was rising quickly under her but already she could feel itami slithering over her shoulders fully forming the shape of R'tari with his arms wrapped around her. Nyen's eyes began to fill with tears seeing her dead teammate again and wrapped her arms around him as well before hitting the ground with a thud. The impact had knocked the air out of her a bit but she wasn't physicaly harmed. Nyen stoof slowly, looking down at the dust of itami which had exploded under her once she had landed which began to flow back towards her, up her side and back into the gourd. Itami was giving off waves of distress and worry but Nyen softly crooned "Shhhh it's okay dear. I was just seeing how far you would go. You're so sweet." she said, more tears forming in her eyes, but they soon subsided as Nyen realised the implications of this. She looked up the building which had seemed so much smaller during the day but now the dark shadow loomed over her and nyen counted a good 8 stories. She had fallen almost 56 feet and stood perfectly fine with maybe a bruise on her chest but nothing more. She turned with a giant grin on her face to return to her sleeping quarters but as she walked she a new thought nagged at her mind. Itami seemed to always take the form of R'tari which Nyen of course didn't mind at all but that was mostly because seeing R'taris form again brought her peace from her guilt ridden thoughts that she had been the reason he had died. If she ever got into serious trouble during battle or even in the exams, him taking the form of R'tari could cause some major backlash from the other participants, not because it they might think it as cheating since you were allowed to use all weapons given to you through any means and use any jutsus you could manage but because many of the other genin students had known R'tari personally and since none of them knew what had gone down during his final fight with Orion they would be shocked to see R'tari again. Hopefully Itami would only emerge for smaller more insignificant blows seeing as if the threat wasn't too big he would only take the form of R'taris arm or torso (or at least it seemed so) but Nyen worried since the exams would be an all out battle royal with everyone giving 100%. I'll just have to give 110% then she thought to herself, her smile returning once again. She knew she would always have someone watching over her now and not just anybody but a very close and good friend. She procured from the small bag an apple and strode into a park which was only a few blocks from the building she was staying at and seeing as she was still feeling the after effects of adrenaline she decided to rest a while. Taking a large bite of the apple and sat cross legged in the cross and placed the gourd in front of her stared at it thoughtfully, wondering if she'd ever be able to speak to Itami the way R'tari had. She knew it must be possible but she'd have to find another Mikaboshi who could teach her. once she finished the apple she fell backwards onto the soft grass letting the dew seep into her light cotton clothing and cooled her until she began to feel her eyes drooping closed, the stars in the sky seeming to sparkle brighter than they had the past weeks she had spent looking at them through her window after R'taris death. For a second she thought about how Colt would love to watch the night sky with her and wondered how he was doing. She almost felt like going to him and sharing her newfound secret with him but worried he might take it the wrong way but as she let her thoughts continue she realised he would probably be more accepting than anyone and it would also be knowledge he would need to know before the exams would start. Finally deciding to get up and go to bed she made her decision I'll have to tell him at some point anyways or he'll find out for himself. Hiro as well. with one last prologned look at the beautiful night sky she gathered her things and dragged herself to her bed, wrapping herself in the soft covers with her gourd at her feet and for the first time since the death of her team mate, she slept deeply and soundly. - COMPLETED:

Description: Req. R'tari Mikaboshi's Willing Sacrifice to fulfill Soul Price. A technique that is unique to Nyen, due to a culmination of the sacrifice of her teammate R'tari (Soul Price) and his Amatsu's willingness to serve as her protector even after the death of it's master. Whenever Nyen is about to be harmed, a shield of Galvorn Particles will automatically surround and protect her. The sand will react regardless of Nyen's will, even protecting her from self-inflicted injuries. The defensive power and versatility of the Galvorn Particles is where this ability truly shines. Galvorn sand was created courtesy of Jazz D. Kukinorite's Base Sealing Method: Fusion Formula, and is comprised of Iron Sand, an Amatsu (Itami) & Dakar Bone infused with an SS- worth of Life-force (Blood). The result was Galvorn, a Unique Metal which has the following traits; Physical Resistance, Chakra Absorbency, Magnetic, Chakra Conductivity, Spiritual Resistance & the sentience of a Living Weapon. This was to grant Nyen the ability to manipulate the Galvorn Particles via her Circuit Fist with no drawbacks. The Shield of Itami, is capable of protecting Nyen from even those injuries she herself is not aware of, a form of localized Danger Sensory specific to her. It is fast on it's own, and through subsequent weekly training both it's speed of formation and it's contact based chakra draining capabilities can be honed. But when both work in tandem it's true capabilities shine through as when utilized alongside Nyen's Circuit Fist & Ninpo it can be manipulated at the same speed as a Sam. Lvl Tier Chain making the manipulation of this fighting style be her fastest capable. This fighting style serves as a gateway to Nyen's most powerful line of defensive Galvorn Particles related techniques however the most advanced level of this technique result in the Galvorn Particles formed in the very image of R'tari with said form protecting Nyen with it's "body". The techniques following this Fighting Style embody all of the traits of Galvorn Particles and can work interchangeably or in tandem with other Iron Sand techniques in Nyen's Arsenal but the chakra absorbed by the Shield of Itami can only be utilized to fuel Galvorn Particles techniques. The Maximum Amount of Sentient Galvorn Sand, namely that sand which Itami was originally fused with is an SS-rank's Worth but non-sentient Galvorn Particles is determined by Nyen's Iron Sand passive as it is a derivative of that technique. Due to stemming from the willing sacrifice of her comrade this technique is available to be trained regardless of training prerequisites as long as Nyen has an S-rank Slot Available.

Itami was different, far different from how it had been when it was connected to it's original master R'tari. It said original if only because when he had perished it's master had given ownership of it's crumbled body to Nyen Kaironokuma. It was unsure how it would be able to help her especially since she couldn't shift it into different forms like a Mikaboshi could, like R'tari would but then a couple of moments after they both were still grieving over it's 1st master's passing an answer was delivered. It was...altered not for the worse or better it was just different a lot different from how it used to be an far more durable. It felt connected to each and every particle that comprised it's form and yet oddly enough it knew that it was apart from them at the same time. It could tell which were part of it's body and which weren't a definite amount that was it's new form and it was content as it would be able to fulfill it's 1st master's death wish.
For sometime after Itami was neglected by it's new master stored inside that place where time didn't pass and though it threw it off it wasn't unhappy. It felt a lot less skittish than it used to be perhaps it was because in order to balance out it's new master's shy personality it had to become more resolute and firm. Or maybe it was because even though it's first master had passed his soul remained linked to Itami at least it could feel R'tari's presence. It was very faint but Itami felt it anytime danger approached Nyen a warning which would prompt it into action without fail. An Amatsu always listened to their Mikaboshi and even though Itami was different that it used to be, different from any normal Amatsu something never changed. One of the things Itami noticed was that it was still capable of draining chakra in this form, not to mention it's physical durability had gone up far past what it was capable of before. Not only that but it could tell that in regards to spiritual based things it was just as durable if not even more so to a certain degree.
As for it's mobility that had been giving it some problems, so it had set aside time to work on it when Nyen was sleeping after making sure to guilt her into not sealing it up. Fortunately she had listened and now while she slumbered away Itami was practicing moving in it's new body. It was odd it knew it was capable of much higher speeds and yet on some level it realized it was slightly faster than before as if because it lacked a truly solid form some sort of limiter had been released which restricted it to only keeping up with it's old master's walking pace. Still it's new master was far slower at least in regards to walking, Itami knew she had very fast hands however it also knew that it's new master didn't need to move her limbs to protect herself. But that wasn't because of Itami at least not yet not until it learned how to move faster, so fast that when it came to protecting her Itami wouldn't need to rely on Nyen's conscious control to move it would merely act in her stead.
It would eventually master it before the night was over as it was quite talented, if Amatsu were meant to balance Mikaboshi out then in comparison to it's master which required hard work and constant training to become strong. Well let's just say Itami always slacked off and never bothered on refining it's skills, now however it had a reason to work harder and practice. This way when it eventually began to work hand in hand with Nyen it's abilities would only complement hers, it knew this particularly in regards to upping it's speed. When the two of them worked together Itami could feel it'self move faster, especially when Nyen actually began to move her hands alongside her eyes. But when Nyen got serious, when she fully invested in her control over her sand alongside her Ninpo that was when Itami moved the fastest. Itami could estimate that now it could move fast enough to almost catch it's 1st master moving at full speed with Dark Leg.
Of course just like it's old master Nyen had skills which she held back for fear of damaging herself, or in this case it. This was because while she experimented with her own iron sand she had refused to do so with the Galvorn Particles that comprised Itami's body. Not wanting to potentially destroy the precious gift left behind by R'tari, sure it was sure in a life or death battle she would see that she couldn't afford to hold back but he doubted that she would use it in the upcoming exams. Still it knew if she did then her constant training her need to be able to match up to A-rank threats would be reached before she even became a B-rank. Sure it would be costly and would probably burn through the Galvorn Particles comprising it's body but then it would be able to out speed even R'tari with the 4th Gate open. Well maybe with Dark Gates active, perhaps if she really was in need of a speed boost could they outstrip even that speed but it would be far more costly than the first use.
Still, Itami was done improving it's speed. Now it was working on it's chakra draining capabilities. While it had lost the ability to transfer it's stored chakra to it's master with the death of R'tari it's draining abilities also being a shadow of it's former self. Now it could repurpose the chakra absorbed by it for other uses. Still neither it not Nyen had managed to learn techniques involving Galvorn Particles, with the former not knowing what to base it on without feeling redundant and the latter not wishing to experiment until she gained a less sentient version of Itami's new body. Still it had ideas of it's own mainly defensive as it realized that it might not be able to innovate offensively but in regards to Nyen's protection it would have no equal.
