| o.o.c. I'm just assume the field should remain the same from the first round.
Round one went fairly nothing like Mat had hoped. I mean, his opponent was a great fighter and warrior, and Mat was nothing more than a overly cocky man. The exciting conclusion came down to Mat's win through his stalling tactics though. Honestly Mat expected to get pummeled early, torn apart later, and bent over a chair and well you can use your imagination. Still, he found the win and found his place here in the next round. The, prissy, soft skinned Mat stood in his place in the arena awaiting his next opponent. Undoubtedly it would be a man that Mat had zero knowledge on but would be glad to meet in person. Hopefully he was a quadriplegic with a death wish. That would make things fun. Or or or even better. What if he was a she. The possibilities excited Mat as he waited. | |

| OOC: Sorry for the late response. Xan would walk into the area silently his weapons in their sheathes he would spot his opponent some distance away (25ft), he would pull out four Samui style kunai, bringing them up to his face while he was smoking his cigar as if inspecting them and when he found what he was looking for he would throw them. Two of them he would throw at Echoing Flash, the other two he would throw at Ripping Discord. The first two were thrown to Mat's left & right aiming for his shoulders while with the next two, one was aimed in front of him while the other was aimed over his head in case he attempted to jump upward to dodge. Xan himself would stop after gauging the distance and would move into the proper stance, before unsheathing Cockatrice and slashing at the air before sheathing it again, all of this occuring at blinding light speeds with Xan having used both hands in order to put the maximum power into the slash. He would be using Muscle Tension mainly to watch to see how his opponent reacted to his projectiles thus allowing him to capitalize on where he would be ending up and slice at his hands using Geka Style - Strike of Disgrace. Sure he was too far away to physically strike Matsuigen, but his Batto Distance plus his Displacement Aura made him no less dangerous. - Spoiler:
Batto Distance = ~19ft (Xan is 7'1" has a 3ft arm length, Cockatrice's entire length is 8.5ft long) Displacement Aura + Displacement Aura Enhanced = 6ft. Focused Displacement = Kenjutsu Displacement Aura = Doubled (12ft) Batto Distance + Focused Displacement Aura = ~31ft.
Geka Style: Strike of Disgrace Moving at Blinding Light Speed + Muscle Tension Draw = Proper (Kenjutsu Out Speeds 2-rank Higher Speed Tier within "Batto Distance", if not backed by equal rank strength or possessing reaction tiers equal to speed of Geka Style Kenjutsu ) - Aimed at hands to mangle them to prevent hand seal usage. - Lack of Intent Modifier = when fighting normal opponents (Those lacking Muscle Tension/Time-Slowing Jutsu &/or Muscle Tension) if he possesses speeds 1-rank below their own and above then his Kenjutsu can not be read. Meaning if Mat possesses Ripping Discord or lower speed Xan's Kenjutsu thus his strike of disgrace, can not be seen.
Name: Geka Style - Batto Distance Classification: Kenjutsu Rank: D-Rank Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Short-Mid
Description: The most important part of Geka Seido is the draw distance, which is based upon height, the taller one is the bigger the radius they are able to cover as their Batto Distance. This is likewise amplified by the use of a Nagamaki the two going hand in hand to create the optimal distance in which a Geka Style Samurai is able to unsheathe and simultaneously cut an opponent either incoming or attempting to flee. The draw speed of Geka Seido is perhaps among the, if not the, fastest among Kenjutsu and as a result it is often used to punish victims which get within range. Height of Samurai - Nagamaki Length (Blade/Hilt) - Batto Distance 3 Feet & Below (1 Foot Arm Length) - 2/2.5 Feet - ~8 Feet 4 Feet (1.5 Feet Arm Length) - 2/2.5 Feet - 10 Feet 5 Feet (2 Feet Arm Length) - 3/3.5 Feet - ~ 14 Feet 6 Feet (2.5 Feet Arm Length) - 3/3.5 Feet - 15 Feet 7 Feet (3 Feet Arm Length) - 4/4.5 Feet - ~ 19 Feet 8 Feet (3.5 Feet Arm Length) - 4/4.5 Feet - 20 Feet
Name: Geka Style - Battojutsu Classification: Kenjutsu Rank: D-Rank Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Self (Within Batto Distance)
Description: The originator of the Geka Seido Kenjutsu style was a Samurai Cypher Hybrid who looked at the multiple styles of kenjutsu in his arsenal and noticed the inherent flaw in Iaido. Iaido isn't an offensive kenjutsu style, it is a counter-offensive style which has been honed into a lethal art. As a result the originator decided to delve through the history books to see where exactly Iaido originated from and stumbled upon Batto, the art of drawing a blade to initiate and attack not in reply to one. Combining that with improved speed and the Nagamaki resulted in the formation of one of the key components of Geka Seido. To Draw the Blade, as a result their are three types of drawing each with it's own effect. Draw Type - Effect Muscle Tension Draw - Proper (Kenjutsu Out Speeds 2-rank Higher Speed Tier within "Batto Distance", if not backed by equal rank strength or possessing reaction tiers equal to speed of Geka Style Kenjutsu) Two Handed Draw - Standard (Kenjutsu Out Speeds 1-rank Higher Speed Tier within "Batto Distance", if not backed by equal rank strength or possessing reaction tiers equal to speed of Geka Style Kenjutsu) One Handed Draw - Improper (Kenjutsu Out Speeds Equal Speed Tier within "Batto Distance", if not backed by equal rank strength or possessing reaction tiers equal to speed of Geka Style Kenjutsu) [Geka Style deal half as much Damage]
Name: Geka Style - Strike of Disgrace Classification: Kenjutsu Rank: D-Rank Class: Offensive Range: Short-Mid
Description: The Geka Seido version of Strike of Disgrace which involves a smooth draw which intercepts the use of hand seals or incoming targets within the Samurai's "Batto Distance" which targets the hands of the victim. This technique does not slice rather the impact with the victims hands results in all the bones within said hand shattering resulting in a mangled appendage to ensure they are unable to utilize Ninjutsu and techniques which require the use of two handed hand seals or that particular hand. This technique is capable of interrupting the use of Ninjutsu preformed at speeds equal the Geka style Samurai is swinging his/her blade while utilizing this technique, to sustain equal rank damage to the victims hand if they do not possess sufficient defense tiers to nullify the physical damage dealt or halt their formation of hand seals.
Name: Displacement Aura Classification: Taijutsu (Cypher Only) Rank:D-rank Class:Passive Range:Mid Range
Description: This technique stems from the amount of willpower people put into their blows, Cypher have learned to harness this willpower and translate it into a sort of an invisible physical aura which allows them to extend the range of their Taijutsu and Kenjutsu by 1 foot. Meaning if the blow seems like it didn't connect due to the opponent narrowly dodging it the blow will still hit them albeit at a 1-rank lower than the original damage simply due to the physical aura which envelops them in battle. This makes engaging in a physical battle with a Cypher a very high risk for amateurs in close ranged combat.
Name: Displacement Aura Enhanced Classification: Taijutsu (Cypher Only) Rank:C-rank Class:Passive Range:Mid Range
Description: This technique stems from the amount of willpower people put into their blows, Cypher have learned to harness this willpower and translate it into a sort of an invisible physical aura which allows them to extend the range of their Taijutsu and Kenjutsu by 5 feet. Meaning if the blow seems like it didn't connect due to the opponent narrowly dodging it the blow will still hit them albeit at a 1-rank lower than the original damage simply due to the physical aura which envelops them in battle. This makes engaging in a physical battle with a Cypher a very high risk for amateurs in close ranged combat
Name: Focused Displacement (Signature) Classification: Taijutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Passive Range: Short
Description: Xan has focused his Displacement Aura limiting it to only affecting him when he is utilizing Kenjutsu, due to this it has become more potent and his Displacement Aura has doubled in size when it is being used in conjunction with a Kenjutsu attack, normal size when it is dealing with a Displacement styled technique and being completely non existent when used with Taijutsu or any other physical based technique.
Name: Lack of Intent Classification: Kenjutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Passive Range: Self
Description: Xan's Kenjutsu is deadly not because he uses Iaido effectively but because he has no wasted movement nor indication that he is going to attack before he does. This is something cultivated through practice to eliminate any sign of muscle tension as well as traces of killing intent and is a specific counter to those who utilize dojutsu which slow down objects as their "prediction" becomes useless when faced with spontaneous movement. This coupled with speed equal to their rank makes Xan's kenjutsu attacks unreadable to their eyes negating the advantages that such dojutsu have over him in physical combat. When dealing with opponents with reaction tiers or fellow True All Taijutsu user's with Muscle Tension if he possesses speeds 1-rank above them, then his kenjutsu can not be read, when fighting normal opponents if he possesses speeds 1-rank below their own and above then his Kenjutsu can not be read. Assuming there was an opponent with both Reaction Tiers and a Dojutsu which slowed down movement speed or a Fellow All Taijutsu Cypher with Muscle Tension & Reaction Tiers then Xan would have to possess speeds 2-rank's above their own for his kenjutsu to be unable to be read. If there ever was an opponent however..that was an All Taijutsu Cypher with Reaction Tiers and a movement slowing Dojutsu..then in addition to Xan finally smiling he would have to move at speeds 3 ranks above their own for his kenjutsu to be unreadable.
