Today was the day Kid kept telling himself as he moved from the middle sector to the lower sector to him it was quite much more then the sectors above considering it has far less people. Kid had found a small room that he had began to use every once and awhile in order to meditate. Today he wanted to try some techniques he had read about that most psionic style user could attempt. The name of the technique was Nen and Kid had not heard much about it but his mom could use it and she always said she could sense it inside Kid whatever that meant he hoped she was right. Kid would look around and offer a yawn it was early but that was the only time he could come to the building and relax any other time of the day it was in use for what he did not know and he did not intend to find out, the last thing he needed was to be chased of by some random and get in trouble for something.
After a couple minutes kid had reached the room and would open the door with a key a that he had gotten from the supposed hiding spot, after unlocking the door and pulling the key out and placing into his pocket. Kid would move into the room which was big but in the right section there was a mat below the only window offering a beam of light on too the mat as if bathing it. Kid would sit on the mat and cross his legs quickly starting to relax and steady his breath as he begin to delve into his mind and free his spirit in order to reach peace and ultimate relaxation. For a moment he would simply sit there but after awhile he would begin to spread his energy around the area the usual thing would happen his psionic energy would move things into the air, but Kid was not interested in that what he wished to use was the energy he could feel inside along with his chakra he could never place it but could only hope it was the nen that he had been studying.
He would begin trying to cycle energy in the area he could feel the energy trying the best he could to not go to the feeling he was fighting which was naturally when he attempted to cycle energy it was his chakra cause there was nothing else, though now he could feel the energy revolving around him almost growing in power at this very moment. Maybe he had unlocked something but now he could feel it and with his knowledge of Nen there was no way he could think to test it. He would think for about twenty minutes then simply give up, before deciding to practice another technique he had been trying out lately.
Kid would stand and walk toward a desk within the room where a kunai lay and would cut himself allowing blood to spill from the wound before doing a few seals, the blood would form into a arrow holster which would be strapped to Kid's side. Once it was fully formed five red arrows would be within them and Kid would then hold the ram seal and five dark blue arrows would form inside of the holster, he would grab a red arrow and sit down over looking the arrow and offering a sigh maybe he could do the same thing with the energy he was trying to use, it would be a different color then these arrows i have learned to create or it at least would have different affects very different. Kid would begin trying to rotate the energy once again, after a while he could feel the energy and he would hold his hand down on the holster and would push in the same method he did his chakra in order to form the arrows followed by the same seals. Five arrows would quickly form within the holster and Kid would grab one quickly and examine it, well it was a different color but still blue he could only think it was only traces of the energy filtered along with his chakra. Though if it changed the color then the affects had to be different and considering the drain he was currently feeling, Kid knew he had found something out today.
He would release all the arrows returning the energy into himself by breaking the arrows and after a quick sigh would start to focus the energy once again though this time as he forced it to make arrows he would not form the handseals, it would form arrows just like before though these one's were white. Kid would smile and now he knew he had Nen within him, meaning this arrow was some sort of concentration of mental energy which was cool in it's own right.
He would lock the room and begin walking toward the middle sector once he was done training his mind and new found energy to a point he felt comfortable. With the major war going on kid had nothing else on his mind but train train train but for the most part he had learned more than the average shinobi could in the little time he had been in hakagakure. It was time for him to actually test his skills or he thought so for the most part, this caused his current situation. The young genin in his apartment provided by the village was currently packing his tools and crossbow as well as arrows and other essentials.
Once he was fully packed he would toss his backpack over his back which was holding his arrows and crossbow along with other shinobi tools and his money minus the 5 xel stuffed in a wad in his pocket. His clothes simple, a black button up shirt which stopped at his waist and elbow. Along with that the collar covered his neck entirely his shorts where brown in color with two pockets along each side not counting the pockets on the top of the shorts.
Kid would push his door open and walk out closing it behind him and locking the door, after he checked it one time he would begin his walk to the office for Shinobi of the alliance in this sector of the village. It would not take long and Kid would keep a slow and steady pace not being in much of a hurry but he was excited on the inside he had not seen R'tari or Shiro lately but he had not been out much the past few days mostly training his mentality and testing his own limits.
It didn't take long for Kid too reach the office the area was heavy with shinobi presence all of the injured in the area ended up here cause the Medic nin were here, the council being so low on high ranking shinobi could not afford to allow the medic nin to be anywhere but in the safety of one of the defended area's. Kid would push the door too the office open and look around before walking to the main desk which house missions and such as well as bounty's for hunter nin. Kid would smile once he saw the person who was working the desk today then place his hand on the desk in order to get a better look over.
This was the start of his first mission though he wanted it to be with his squad he could not wait any longer hopefully his skills would see him through.
