Subject: Temple of Gaia (Forsaken) 10th December 2014, 10:07 pm
Name: Temple of Gaia (Forsaken) Description: The Temple of Gaia was created in the Forsaken to honor the Mother Deity as the Grasslands was the first territory that fell to the Dobutsu and thus they felt they owed it to the favor of Gaia. As a result in the center they constructed a temple to the deity out of a large tree in the center. The Grassland similar to Thorn Forest is essentially split into four Quadrants, East, South, West and finally North which is more commonly known among Dobutsu as the Bullfango Feeding Grounds. The trees in the Grassland are far apart forming a ring around it with their branches interlocking high up to remove much sunlight but not as much as the other areas within the Land of the Forsaken, in this Quadrant these trees reach 250-350ft high & having trunk diameters of 35-40ft (at base) and due to Aria's influence have been crossbred with the trees of the Treeline Stairwell to produce the fire resistant sap however unlike the others they likewise retain the chakra resistant sap as well. Regardless due to the height of the trees it is difficult to see via vision without another source of light, not that it affects the creatures found within as all of them have adapted to surviving...and hunting in darkness.

Cycling Nest:
The Cycling Nest is located in the tree in the center of the Grassland which reaches 500ft in the air with a base of 95 (at base), it is shaped in the image of an animalistic woman crossed with plant life yet looking highly realistic evidence that the Dobutsu are quite capable of art. The temple itself is within the tree hence why the base is so thick for a tree of such size regardless it doesn't affect the tree at all it simply is hollow on the inside which continues up to 250 upward. The branches and trunk has holes reaching on the outside which possess bark as they are natural growths on the tree in order to make it habitable without sacrificing any of it's life and the Dobutsu stationed within it are well equipped to handle it's care.
