Travel to the garden of Eden

A breeze swept through the area outside the academy, as Haru leaned against the Academy wall. Dressed in black ninja sandals, dark grey pants, and a long sleeve white shirt. On the back of said shirt would be a miniature Shogunate symbol, while his waist would be wrapped in a dark violet sash that doubled as a holster for the two Kiba blades. At the moment, he was cleaning the lens of his glasses with his sleeve. The Mishura was currently waiting on an acquaintance that he had recently just met, a kid named Jean and his friend La-Croix. The two were to travel to Eden to take care of a Velociprey problem, originally this was only going to be Haru's mission but it somehow turned out like this. Though he didn't mind it in the least, as it could prove to be more fun than if  he were to go at it alone.

So today was the day Jean was taking his first mission as a Shogunate Shinobi and to make things even more exciting it was a B rank mission which he wouldn’t normally be able to get his hands on due to his current rank though he was a bit skeptical due to the fact he was unsure if he was actually prepared for a mission of such a magnitude. Even when he was a missing nin he had been weary of the level of hunts he took if he wasn’t accompanied by his father or someone that he deemed strong enough and though someone whom was indeed strong enough, on paper anyways, was accompanying him he still had some major doubts. La Croix however was pretty fond of the man and believed he was more than strong enough to protect them if need be, which annoyed Jean secretly. Though it was pretty warm outside Jean was dressed in a long sleeve black pull over with black khaki pants and gloves, the gloves of course was to hide his marks on the palms of his hands. La Croix looked more like a young school girl dressed in a black a purple blouse with a bow and a black and purple mini skirt, the good thing about having her being able to transform is that he didn’t have to worry about being exposed as a Mika that and she had no reason to constantly nag him about being bored.

“Hey Haru-senpai! Glad you could make it!” La Croix said loudly while waving her hand. Jean on the other hand tossed him the scroll that La Croix had taken from him in the administrative building so he could read the missions details and continued to walk in direction of the rendezvous point.

Placing the spectacles upon his visage, Haru would grin as he heard La Croix's voice and looked to see Jean alongside her. "Hi, hows it going. Are you two ready to go? Giving a little wave of his own, the scroll being caught within his left hand. Unwinding the scroll, he'd read through the objective for the mission. Lets see...okay a few velociprey, huh" Putting away the scroll, the Mishura would look over his two teammates for a brief period as he rubbed his chin. He didn't really know anything about the two besides their names, maybe a nice conversation would help the trek go by quicker. As he turned to get moving, "Since we're going to be together for a bit, why not talk about our selves like your hobbies, favorite foods or something.

Jean couldn’t help but scoff at the man’s request. Why would he even think of telling this man anything about him? Why the only reason he was even hanging around this man was due to the fact that he was incapable of doing such a high ranking mission by himself, well he could’ve but he probably would die or get severely maimed and that was something that he couldn’t risk after all he hadn’t even achieved his objective. Sticking his hands into his pockets he would put some distance between himself and the other two indicating that he had no intention of answering that question nor make any meaningless small talk with him though he knew La Croix would most definitely answer that question due to her nature.

“My favorite foods are chakra and cake! My hobbies are being with Franny-nii! Though he doesn’t like doing anything other than train.” La Croix said with bright eyes as she skipped at a moderate pace trying to match Haru’s steps. “What about you Haru senpai?”

"Me? Hmmm, I like playing chess and my favorite kind of food would be sweets along with some good tea. Training can be fun too, you know. Or maybe he is just one of those power hungry guys." Looking over to the distancing Jean, guess he didn't like to talk about himself that much. Well Haru was a stranger to the kid, so it was understandable. Though, the fun one out of the two was clearly La Croix. Exiting the gates of Sheol, Haru would do what he normally did for travelling. "Hey La Croix, wanna see a magic trick?" Smiling as he posed the question, his body would slowly lift off the ground and into the air. At the same time he'd do something weird with his hands, ah yeah that trick that makes it look like your thumb is coming off, or whatever. "See? It took me forever to finally get this trick down, haha."

Unfortunately for Jean no matter how much he tried distancing himself from the two he could still hear and see what they were doing due to the fact that both Jean and La Croix shared a collective consciousness which is pretty useful during a battle but a pain in the ass in situations like these, if only there was an off switch… for La Croix anyways. “I’d rather be power hungry than a crappy magician. Only an idiot would find that amazing.” Jean stated out loud without turning to face the two that were behind him.

“Wow! That was amazing! How did you do that??” La Croix declared as she was impressed by the man’s superb magical abilities. Unable to contain her excitement she would run up to the man and quickly cling to his arm. “Hey Hey teach me how to do that Haru-senpai!” She said with a bright smile looking up at the man.

“Like I said…..” Jean stated while he shook his head. It reflected badly on him as her owner that she was so easily excited over the simplest and the stupidest of things but unfortunately that was just her personality and sadly he can’t trade her or sell her…Or could he?
