Cherish had woken up in the arms of Summer looking upward with a wince as the light was in her eyes, her head was pounding and she felt like death. Yep she was hungover badly so, thankfully it wasn't one of those that she hadn't fully slept off those were just killer and thus she would move around a bit closing her eyes once more and deciding to just lay on the comfortable person she was on currently. All she wanted to do right now was just sleep and not move, no loud noises no bright lights just blissful sleep. Her stomach would grumble a bit causing her to frown as she was quite hungry as she usually was after drinking. Mmph..Summph. Ugh Summer wake up I'm hungry Cherish said moving a bit so she could talk without being muffled trying to wake Summer up the nicest way possible.

A pair of eyes opened to the blinding sky, thankfully someone didn't have a headache to go along with such light and so she just reached up, sheltering her eyes with her arm for a moment to let them adjust and let her sleep wear off. She blinked a few times and looked down to Cherish who was currently resting against her. It was comfortable, if Summer was to be honest, and she kind of enjoyed lying like this but she too was hungry and thus gave her friend a smile and gently moved her so that Summer could get to her feet. Once up she gave Cherish her gourd back and strapped Glimmer to her back before reaching down, sliding her hands under cherish's armpits and lifting her to her feet, or at least helping to do so. "Right, let's go get something to eat and try and figure out something to do, eh? My arms are still bloody killing me..." She mumbled, stretching her arms out and wincing from the recoil damage she had done to herself.

Cherish would shift laying on the ground at Summer got up and rolling so she was on her back lifting up one arm to grab her gourd and managing to sit up grumbling under her breath both of her eyes closed. She would attach her gourd to her back via chakra flow and would suddenly be lifted up prompting her to use her legs to stand up and smile at Summer. Your such a good friend thanks Summer. I have no money though so maybe we should do a D-rank for easy cash then spend it on food? Cherish said both of her index fingers rubbing her temples as she looked around for the exit out of the training grounds. Sure D-ranks were easy but she was looking for one that didn't entail a lot of work so that the two of them could complete it quickly and then make their way for some dango they always served sake at the dango shop it was why it was her favorite. She would stop rubbing her temple cringing as another headache plagued her head thankfully it wasn't too bad she was used to headaches like this, it was only when it lasted for a long time that she would begin to tear up from the pain.

"I dunno why I'm like that... Maybe I just like caring for people, my mum did raise me like that. You're my friend too so I care about you even more!" She smiled brightly at Cherish and then reached up, fingercombing her hair into some semblance of order, trying to make herself appear presentable. She'd need to head home to actually make herself look as good as she had when the day started, her hair needed a good brushing, she had dust and the residue of alcohol dripping down her cheek and chin. Then again the only person that would be looking at her properly would be Cherish... Summer glanced at her friend and immediately the thought of what had occurred at the end of the spar they'd had infiltrated her mind's eye. Immediately her cheeks turned the same colour as her hair and she shook her head wildly for a few seconds to get rid of it. "Yeah, let's go pick up a D-Rank mission or two, get some money in our pouches and get some good food." Summer didn't bother to mention that she could've just went home but... She was having fun with Cherish, she actually was.

Your mum seems nice, my parents are...difficult. Cherish said wistfully a slight yearning in her voice before she would thankfully take the change of topic instead masking her pain with a bright smile pointing to the right which was the exit. To the academy away, I hope we don't get something stupid like weeding, I freaking hate weeding. she said with a severe frown and a roll of the eyes before cringing again as her head was rocked with another headache ugh when would it go away surely it shouldn't last any longer. She knew she had a quick recovery time at least when she had the chance to sleep when she blacked out and thus her contemplation of her headache caused her to miss Summer's blush. Thus in her mind her friend didn't know anything about her drunken habits knowing fully well that in addition to being a drunk she had scared away a lot of female friends due to her orientation, she blamed Nee-san. She had been a wonderful mentor but.. she had destroyed all of Cherish's innocence between booze and graphic detail of her numerous sexual exploits and her need to determine Cherish's sexual orientation and subtle coaching on the "kunoichi arts" let's just say Cherish was utterly ruined before she even hit puberty properly. Technically her body was still pure of course her mind though was permanently in the gutter she just learned how to mask it when she wasn't shitfaced, she wasn't a whore like her Nee-san but it didn't mean she wouldn't hit on people she found cute.

A small frown hit Summer's face at what her friend said. It would appear that there was some nasty history with Cherish and her parents and Summer couldn't really relate to that, her family loved her and cared for her, she was an only child but she wasn't sure if that really changed anything. So Summer stepped closer to her friend, moving around in front of her and wrapping her in a hug, arms tight around Cherish's waist so that Summer could give her a small peck on the cheek. She held the hug for a few seconds before stepping away and giving Cherish a smile. "Well if you wanted, Cherish, I could bring you over to my home some time, we could have dinner and talk and whatnot. I haven't really had a friend visit before so it would be really amazing for me too..." She wanted to say more but she didn't trust how her mind was working so she cut it out and then turned away, scanning her eyes around to get her bearings. Once figuring out where the Academy was she started to walk that way, her pace slow so that her beleaguered ally could keep up with her without stressing herself, she didn't want Cherish to be hurt any more than she was just now...

Cherish would pause being snapped out of her gloom as Summer moved in front of her and hugged her, before pecking her on her cheek causing her to remain still for a moment until she was released one of her hands hovering the place that was kissed. Thanks for trying to cheer me up. I'd like that, I don't like staying in mine unless I have to, I'm hoping to get my own apartment out of the clan district when I become a genin. Cherish said following after Summer in silence for a bit as she thought about her plans, sure as an Academy student she had to live with her parents at least ever since Nee-san..no best not to think about it ugh it was one of the reasons she hated hangovers. Sure enough during the introspection they'd get to the academy after a while, even though they were walking slow. Cherish would perk up seeing the office deciding to rest against the wall her hands over her face. Hey can you go get a mission I'll rest here for a bit hehe, hangovers suck but I shouldn't drunk that quick it was only because I hadn't drank for quite a while, the less I do the lower my tolerance for the stuff is. she said leaning back so her head was resting on the wall of the academy causing her to exhale a cigarette would of been wonderful right about now but she wasn't allowed to smoke anymore at least not until she developed a fire affinity so the damage to her lungs wouldn't build up and hurt her shinobi career.

Summer looked at Cherish for a few moments after her words before nodding. Her parents wouldn't mind her having a friend over a few times, in fact they'd probably be proud of her for making a friend so quickly. The thought caused a little warm feeling to build up Summer's gut but she pushed it away, her friend was talking again and she didn't want to get distracted. Well, any more than she already had been as it would seem they were already at the Academy Office. Would the people there be upset that she didn't go to the Academy and instead had her parents train her? Was that such a bad thing? She couldn't be sure but she turned and flashed Cherish a smile. "Yeah, I'll be a few minutes, you try and clear your head." With that the younger girl nodded and wandered off into the Academy, following straight through to the receptionist before giving them a little smile and a soft cough to get their attention. "Uh, hello, I'm looking for a mission for my friend and myself, D-Rank please..." She mumbled out before quickly receiving the folder, giving the lady a smile and then walking back to Cherish. "Hey again, we've got to go walk some dogs, here's the address, shouldn't be difficult." She handed the necessary information over and then waited for her friend to get moving.

Finally her hangover had cleared and she would get up off the wall as Summer walked out of the building Cherish smiling as she wasn't in pain anymore. Hangover's gone so cool let's go walk some dogs. Summer said as she read the scroll noticing that they just had to walk the dogs a couple of blocks before bringing them back inside they were just normal dogs thankfully and not ninken because if that was the case it would be somewhat problematic. She would walk towards the address deciding to hold the folder rolling it up and putting it in her back pocket so it didn't get in the way and eventually they'd arrive at the place. Hey we are here to walk your dogs she said her voice cheery and full of life causing the old woman who had asked for the mission to smile before handing her two leashes one of which she'd give to Summer, it was a yorkie and the other was a pug both small dogs so this hopefully wouldn't take too long. So is this your first mission Summer? It's mine I always held off on doing missions but I don't want to deplete my savings anymore since I'm trying to live on my own. she said trying to make small talk so that the mission would seem to take less time than it actually did.

"I just haven't had much of a chance to do any missions, my parents have been doing their best to make sure I know everything I need to stay... Well alive if I go on any higher ranked missions. So yeah there's that and I guess I'm a little lazy, I haven't bothered going on any missions. I should probably have started earlier than now but..." She paused and then shrugged, taking the leash and wrapping it once around her hand so that the small dog wouldn't pull it out of her hand if it happened to jerk suddenly or try and run forwards. Summer was a pretty slight girl even if she was tall so it wouldn't be too difficult to knock her off balance, hell, perhaps her training would help her with that? Summer gave a little smirk at the thought before turning to look at Cherish and giving her a better smile. "It's good that you're starting to be independent at such a young age I guess, perhaps I could stay over at your house sometime and keep you company, we could sit up and talk about stuff or... I dunno, I'm not really good with friends." She laughed and rubbed the back of her head, a little embarrassed honestly.

Cherish would nod she could understand why they didn't want her doing missions yet that was what Nee-chan had told her as well it was one of the reasons why even now she trained trying to hone her skills before well doing anything. She would continue walking the dog as they turned a corner she was pretty happy though they seemed docile not like the super energetic ones she sometimes saw genin walking around lady luck was on their side how epic was that. Hehe I try I try, I mean most times I'm still figuring it out but eh, when I'm sober I can take care of myself. Don't you worry about anything Summer you and I will get along fine. Cherish said she thought Summer was pretty cool after all she had tolerated all of her odd quirks most others hadn't and while that didn't bother her much because she had alcohol it was still lonely every now and then. To have a friend even if said friend didn't drink was a blessing, sure she knew as a genin she'd be put into a squad but really.. she wished if she did end up on one it would at least be with people she could get along with.

"I'll just have to stick around to make sure that you're okay when you're drunk then. Rather than trying to molest me in a ten foot hole!" She teased her friend, nudging Cherish's arm before looking down at the dog. "Right, we'll walk around a bit more and then take them back, they're little doggies, no need for long walks, right little guy?" She crouched down and rubbed the top of her dog's head before wandering on forwards, skipping to make the dog move a little faster with her and to get it tired out. After a couple of minutes of this, and of either catching up with, or letting Cherish catch up to her, she turned and lead them back to the house that they received the dogs. After giving the dogs back she received the pay and handed over half of it to Cherish with a bright smile. "Right, let's go get something to eat, yeah?"

Wait I-I did that oh my Cthulhu I'm so sorry. Cherish said blushing a bright red and looking away actually being embarrassed for the rest of the mission as they walked up and down and eventually dropped the dogs back at their owners place. She was inwardly panicking because she knew some people were homophobic but thankfully Summer took it all in good fun perhaps because Cherish was drunk that was good she didn't want to lose a friend over what she did while she was intoxicated. Hey Summer? Thanks for being friends with me. she said in a low voice which Summer might of possibly missed before perking up. Yeah let's go get some food! she said with and excited cheer before rushing towards one of her favorite eating places looking back to make sure Summer was following her.
