| Laxus gathered his pack, filled with various ninja tools as well as some food for the journey ahead. He slung the pack over his shoulder before zipping up the Hakagakure Flack Jacket and heading out the door. Before closing it however, Laxus took one final look around. Seeing that everything seemed to be in order, thanks to his ants, Laxus shut the door and locked it before exiting his apartment building. On the street below, Laxus took the main road leading to the largest of the tunnels of Hakagakure. Here, people came and went as they pleased and there was usually a large amount of foot traffic in the tunnel. Today however lacked many people at all, Laxus noted as he stepped into the cavernous tunnel. With a shrug, he followed the half dozen or so people ahead of him also exiting the village to go about their daily routines on the surface world. After several minutes, the tunnel opened up into a massive cave, about a mile or so away from the actual location of Hakagakrue. Laxus raised an arm to his eyes, blotching out the sun's intense rays. He hadn't been above ground in quite some time and although Hakagakure was well lit by torches and other fire sources, they paled in comparison to the great illumination the sun offered. As Laxus began walking towards the Rocky Plains, his skin began to move and writhe about under his clothes. What's wrong with them? Laxus asked silently through use of the hive mind. ]Nothing, they are merely excited to be on the surface, my ants have never seen the light. Sylvia replied. Ariagnae however had a different take on the sudden ant movement within Laxus, Tell them there is nothing to be excited for, young queen. The surface holds horrors that your workers could never dream of. They should have been happy where they were, in the ground. With that, both queens fell silent and Laxus didn't bother bringing it up again. As Laxus walked, he looked to his left and in the distance could see the rolling clouds of a sand storm whipping up. Will that hinder our mission in the Rocky Plains? Ariagnae responded this time, Doubtful, it's several miles out and moving in the opposite direction. Still... Ariagnae said, trailing off in thought. Still what? Laxus asked. Nothing, it just seems odd for a storm that size to have whipped up this time of year. Laxus nodded, Hmm agreed, but times are changing, the word is different now. The instruments and systems our ancestors used to interpret this place are quickly becoming obsolete. Ariagnae simply sighed and said, Unfortunately, I couldn't agree more. The rest of the walk was mostly in silence as the terrain quickly took on the form of a flat desert floor with massive rocks and boulders towering above Laxus as he walked. I want everyone ready for a fight. These creatures have supposedly been bothering some villagers and wreaking havoc. This is a shoot to kill mission, we're not returning them to their rightful lands, understood? Sylvia suddenly chimed in, A bit barbaric if I might say, Young Master. Laxus paid no heed to her rebuttal and simply said, We need the blood.Words: 570 Mission: Taking Some Missions | |

| The rocky area was empty well why would it be filled with the current animal attacks acid residue was everywhere in small glomps burning through the ice covered rock in most places giving off a feint boiling scent along with a bubbling sound made from the acid melting the ice which formed a 4 foot high mist covering the place faintly, though still impairing the vision if anyone looked into the four feet covered. |

| Laxus looked around at the corroding rocks before venturing over to one in particular that looked like it had suffered the brunt of the force. He took out a kunai and lightly dabbed the acid covered rock before listening to the sizzle of the liquid eating through his kunai. Luckily, Laxus managed to wipe the acid off on the rock again before any real damage could come of the ninja tool. Vespoid acid, nasty little... Ariagnae began, searching for the right word. Buggers? Laxus offered, somewhat sarcastically. Hmm I suppose, but be wary House, their acid is very similar to that of our Jasasori. Laxus nodded before looking at the deep green mist that loomed before him. Dually noted. I want you to send scouts into that mist cloud. Check for the lethality of the acid content and if you find anything, kill it without hesitation. Without a word, about a dozen black and green ants filed out of Laxus and marched towards the mist. Laxus watched in silence as they entered. | |

| The mist was none corrosive simply a reaction from the acid and ice touching each other, but if the scouts had vision it would notice the current part covered was housing some resting vespoid who had not located the newcomer and his bugs, this was the only thing that was new beside the side off the rockys would bee seen numerous ice splotches. |

| Several seconds after the ants had disappeared into the mist, Sylvia spoke up, My scouts are reporting a single bug hidden in the mist, Master. Ariagnae too spoke up, As are mine, House. Laxus nodded, Hmm very well, Sylvia if they can, I want the Sonic Ants to circle the bug and begin the new technique we worked on. Ariagnae, order your ants to stand down for now but keep a watchful eye out for any other possible creatures. There are still two out here somewhere ladies. Wordlessly, the two queens relayed these commands to their scouts and the black ants began to back off from the bug so as not to alert it to their presence while the green ants broke off and began to soundlessly circle the Vespoid. Once in position, the Sonic Green Ants would begin to vibrate and if caught, the bug would be unable to move from the circle of ants. - Spoiler:
- Sonic: A Sonic type Green Ant has specialized in utilizing the sound waves produced from its vibration to accelerate itself to high speeds. Sonic Types are able to move at 2-ranks above the hive's rank and that gives them a distinct advantage when used in combat, not surprisingly they specialize in supplementary techniques. They get a plus 1-rank added to any supplementary technique that uses Sonic ants on the other hand any offensive technique that uses Sonic ants will be lowered by 1-rank.
Name: Green Tremble Order Classification: Kinjutsu Rank: C-SS Class: Supplementary Range: Close
Description: Laxus commands his ants to form a ring around a target and begin vibrating. With the vibrations all focused on one area, they result in keeping the target locked in place if their speed is equal to the ant's speed or below. This is particularly useful with Laxus's Bone Forest line of techniques as he no longer has to kill his targets before being able to harvest their blood. This technique can be used a total of 3 times in a row before the ants must return to Laxus to rest (for 3 posts). With each rank up it increases by 3 posts, capping at 9.

| The bug was caught in place causing it too wake up beginning to panic somewhat and release a acid from it's body which was corrosive(A rank), the awakened bug caused others too near two vespoid flew into the area looking too protect the area they had chosen for their nest and all that, it was obvious they had ran into the gladrome and a fight took place wonder where the other animals were. |

| We have the bug locked down, master. Sylvia reported before relaying exact coordinates of the bug's whereabouts in the mist. Using this information, Laxus drew Scarlet Rose and began channeling chakra into the blade. Green Shiver Order. Although it wouldn't show, Laxus's arm and in turn sword, would begin to vibrate ever so slightly as he slashed out, sending a bullet sized compression of chakra towards the trapped bug at B-rank speeds. Unfortunately, several of his green ants were lost as the acid touched them and burned through. This broke the ring and would allow the vespoid to escape but unless the creature possessed unbelievable speed, odds were high that Laxus's attack would strike it first and kill it before it could truly escape. - Spoiler:
Name: Tenmestu Style: Stray Bullet Classification: Kenjutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Offensive Range: All Ranges
Description: Compressing their chakra around their blade the user unsheathes their sword in a swinging manner launching what looks like a needle the size of the blade, but is actually compressed chakra, at the target. Since it is a Tenmestu Style attack the needles every needle is launched out at supersonic speeds.
Name: Green Shiver Order Classification: Kinjutsu/Kenjutsu Rank: C Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: Using this technique, Laxus orders the Green Chimera Ants in his sword arm to vibrate. These vibrations channel to Scarlet Rose and very minutely cause the blade to vibrate as well. With the blade vibrating at such a high frequency, it gains an increase in cutting power, making all of Laxus's kenjutsu techniques 1-rank higher when used in conjunction with this technique.

| The bug would break free it's speed matching the attack but it's wing still got clipped causing it too spiral toward the ground from the brunt off the attack, the other vespoid would fly over the girl releasing acid just as lethal as what had killed the bugs which had caught the first vespoid and even better it was released it small segments causing it too rain acid down on the area the girl was the acid being corrosive(A Rank). A ways away were the gladrome finishing a kill until they heard a boom the girls attack that had clipped the first vespoids wing, this was the cause off two gladrome showing up and looking over the horizon as the area near there feet froze over. |

| OOC: Just so you know, there is no girl. Sylvia is the Green Queen living in my hive (Laxus). Sylvia, I want a full retreat by your forces. Ariagnae, have your black ants converge on the downed Vespoid and light it up. After that I want them burrowing into the ground, we don't need any more casualties from that acid. Laxus spoke silently to his inner hive mind. The two queens would begin transmitting orders to their soldiers as the remaining green ants would scurry away from the mist and back towards Laxus. Meanwhile the black ant scouts which had been out of the way of the Vespoid attack had converged back on the scene and were descending upon the downed Vespoid. In a matter of seconds they would be able to consume the poor creature and end it once and for all like tiny insect piranhas. With the second Vespoid we can't simply stand here waiting idly by with hit and run tactics. We need to rush the mist and take down any other bugs in there. Ariagnae said to Laxus but Laxus simply shook his head. No, I'm not jeopardizing the entire hive by going in there blind only to be dissolved by that acid before we even realize what happened. If they want to come out and fight, then I will gladly meet them head on, but until then, we stay here and let the scouts deal with what they can. - Spoiler:
Flame: A Flame Type has expanded on the ability to generate flames around there body causing the flames to now deal damage equal to 2-ranks above the hive's rank, on the other hand they have now gained a weakness to Water techniques as when water techniques are used on them they sustain 1-rank above in damage, likewise they now are able to fuel Blaze release techniques with the flames they generate. They receive a 1-rank boost when used in conjunction with offensive techniques but receive a 1-rank penalty when used in conjunction with supplementary techniques.

| The poor downed Vespoid, in agony due to its clipped wing was currently trying to take flight but of course dropped to the ground, the damage having ripped its wing to shred. Just then it was surrounded by the black ants who quickly burned it to a crisp. The screams of the Vespoid and the smell of burning flesh slipped out into the air, permeating through the entire mist and bringing forth two more Vespoid. These new insects flew out of the mist and shot towards Laxus at Vacuum Release speeds. With a screaming sound, they launched a pair of acidic darts each towards Laxus, only moving at Crashing Ground but with how powerful the acid was it would deal A-Rank damage if it struck Laxus and would start eating through his skin. There was also a secondary problem, not so much at the moment though, that would be the Giadrome. The pair of them that had crested the hill were joined by a third and then a fourth and they hopped off the edge of the cliff, skittering down its face and sending rocks cascading down before landing at the bottom and snarling. They all then charged towards Laxus's location with a screech, at the same time causing the ground underfoot to suddenly freeze over. (All Giadrome are moving at Crashing Ground speeds). - Giadrome:
Name: Ice Floor Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Long
Description: The user freezes the whole ground over with ice. The only thing that is frozen is the ground and nothing else.

| That's one down. Laxus said as the dying screams of the Vespoid echoed across the plains. And two to go. Sylvia chimed in as the two new Vespoids darted forward from the mist. Make that six. Ariagnae muttered as suddenly the Giardomes joined the fray as well. As the Vespoids began their attack, Laxus jumped into the air at A-rank speeds, avoiding the acid darts. With his arm still vibrating from the ants, he swung Scarlet Rose several times, creating air needles that would rain down on the Vespoids. With that done, he began falling but as he did, Laxus generated two Rose Bone seeds and began channeling blood into them. The bloomed and without hesitation, Laxus tossed the now Rose Bone mines towards the ground directly in front of the four charging Giardomes. As soon as even one of them stepped on either of the two mines, it would release a burst of bone spikes that, although it might not kill them right away, it would certainly hurt. - Spoiler:
Name: Tenmestu Style: Raining Bullets Classification: Kenjutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Offensive Range: Mid to Long Range
Description: Using the same principle as Tenmestu Style: Stray Bullet the user this time jumps in the air and instead of one releases several needles at their target. This can only be used in the air considering it uses the air to increase the number of needles launched.
Name: Rose Bone Seed Classification: Kinjutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self Description: This is the most basic of the bone seeds and was chosen simply due to the abundance of roses where these techniques originated from. The roses produced from these seeds have stalks made out of flexible bone and possess blood red flowers in addition their thorns posses the ability to suck blood in order to obtain the necessary nutrients that it needs to grow more powerful (D-rank amount of blood with each blow). It take a D-rank amount of blood for it to sprout, a C-rank amount of blood for it to bloom into a Rose Bone Flower. Once it has sprouted it may be used as a landmine as when it detonates it releases a shower of bone thorns which strike everything within a 5 foot radius dealing C-rank damage in the process. When it blooms it can still be used as a land mine however dealing C-rank damage around a 10 foot radius. In addition upon blooming it can be used for other techniques.
Raining Bullets boosted to A-rank because of Shiver Order. Blood Price: -2 D-ranks -2 C-ranks + 1 S-rank from Scarlet Rose converting chakra to blood.

| As the raining needles hailed down upon the vespoids. They were fortunate to be small, already avoiding majority of the area wide techniques. However, that was also a disadvantage, as there was also no chance of escape. Indeed the needles had struck their location, only one was killed however, as the 2nd took shelter below the first. Anyway, One vespoid continued in its path, coating its own body in that A-Rank acid it seems to have, on route for a collision course straight towards this cool character.
On the other side of the battle, which actually involved only 1 Giadrome, and three regular Giaprey, the battle was quite different, rather then unwilling sacrafices, the deaths were quite...happily given. Giaprey protect their alpha female, without the need for any contact, two of them dived over the bone bombs, sacraficing themselves as they sheltered the remaining two from the blast. They continued, one jumping in the air for some reason, heading for Laxus to tear him apart with their razor sharp teeth. | |

| Without hesitating, Laxus began channeling a massive amount of blood into his palm as a sunflower seed was generated. The seed rapidly grew out of his hand and bloomed into a massive bone sunflower as its roots took hold in the ground below. Laxus landed on the sunflower before launching off, backwards, away from the flower as well as his attacks. The petals of the flower would prove strong enough to withstand the attacks of the two beasts, protecting it. However, Laxus had other plans and as he launched away from it, with the creatures closing in on the flower, Laxus made a single hand seal, detonating it. This would cause the bone flower to explode in a cloud of white pollen and as soon as the animals inhaled it, game over. Laxus was confident that the attacking raptor would at least get a helping dose of the stuff with his mouth agape just as the flower detonated. As for the Vespoid and other raptor, he was less sure. That was taxing Laxus, collect some blood from the fallen creatures. Ariagnae instructed and Laxus silently complied as he moved at A-rank speeds over to the fallen Vespoid, touching the tip of Scarlet Rose to the fallen creature. He then would appear next to the two fallen Giaprey and do the same thing, draining their blood into his sword as well. With that done, Laxus would wait to see just what happened with his sunflower and what creatures still remained. Be wary young master. - Spoiler:
Name: Sunflower Bone Seed Classification: Kinjutsu Rank: A-rank Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Self (Varies) Description: This is the most complex of the bone seeds and was chosen due to the need of a better Area of Effect flower. The sunflowers produced from these seeds have stalks made out of flexible bone and possess golden flowers in addition these flowers have detachable petals which are able to be controlled by the user and can form a flexible defense which can protect against up to S-rank physical techniques. It takes a A-rank amount of blood for it to sprout and another S-rank amount of blood for it to bloom into a Sunflower Bone Flower. Once it has sprouted it may be used as a gas bomb as when throw they explode into white spores which upon being inhaled turn the victim into a sort of Sunflower Bone Seed factory as each post a B-rank amount of blood is absorbed from the victim to make 1 Sunflower Bone Seed from their body. When it blooms it can still be used as a gas bomb by launching their flowers at opponents at Vacuum release speed which then explode into the spores, however now they drain an A-rank amount of blood each post to make 2 Sunflower Bone Seeds from the victims body, upon draining the opponent full of blood they need to be extracted from the corpse and stored away for 3IR days before they are able to be used in battle. In addition upon blooming it can be used for other techniques.
Blood + 3 A-ranks from the fallen creatures - 1 S-rank and 1 A-rank from flower.

| It was almost over, the stupid fucking bug, moving at the speed it was, bascially squashed itself with the force from its movement when it hit the petal, dying instantly. As for the giaprey, it was not as fortunate, getting a huge gulp of the white pollenated crap. It would have escaped, as both the giaprey and giadrome had their reaction tiers and could sense the danger, however the giadrome kicked its servert forwards in order to slow itself down, turning and running back towards the other two dead giaprey, were Laxus was collecting his blood. | |

| Laxus watched the Vespoid crush itself against the flower petal and smirked briefly before observing the Giaprey inhale his flower's spores. The creature would hesitate for a moment before the spores took hold and would literally drain the raptor dry. His smirk only grew wider as the creature collapsed, a former husk of its once powerful self. Now all Laxus had to do was deal with the Giaprey's lady friend, who had apparently decided to bum rush Laxus like her servant just had. Laxus rolled his eyes, some people never learned he supposed. Without hesitating, Laxus dashed forward at A-rank speeds to meet the creature head on. With his ants still charging his arm and kenjutsu attacks, Laxus lashed out at the raptor attempting to slice it 11 times, each one more fatal than the last. If all went well, he would appear behind the raptor, completely unharmed. - Spoiler:

Description: The Tenmenstu-ko version of Strike of Disgrace which is the same as its predecessor only instead of a single strike the Samurai delivers eleven strikes to the enemy before sheathing their sword. | The fucking dinosaur thing stood, left behind in Laxus' trail, wobbling slightly, before dropping to the ground, gasping for air before its breathing stopped. It died. And with that, all the enemies were down. With the death of the alpha female, the alpha male will be on the lookout for a new spouse, poor best, hopefully he recovers from his loss.

| Laxus smiled as she sheathed his sword, listening to the Giadrome drop to the ground behind him. He walked over to the fallen Giaprey and inspected it, finding the Sunflower Bone seeds that had been generated from the creature's stolen blood, Laxus collected them before sealing away his Bone Flower Garden technique. He touched the tip of Scarlet Rose to the crushed Vespoid before making his way back over to the hacked up Giadrome and doing the same. The blade seemed to glow with a crimson aura as it absorbed the blood. With that done, Laxus sheathed the blade and made his way back toward the cave and Hakagakure. I must say that wasn't too shabby, house. Back by dinner time at least. Ariagnae said through their shared hive mind. Indeed young master, it was a pleasure to serve you in battle today. Sylvia chimed in. [/exit] - Spoiler:
+ 2 Sunflower Bone Seeds Scarlet Rose has 3 A-ranks worth of blood in it which equals 1 SS-rank worth of blood.
