Marcus was kicked back his chair tilted over as he put both of his feet on his table and he held an attendance sheet in front of him as he began to read names in his head, Cyrus Taki, Yahiko Boku and Bishop Ningyo. He wondered what type of students they would be and smirked he would have some fun perhaps. He had just outfitted the room with the training dummies and each one was standing still near each of the mats designated for each of the students.

Cyrus had just finished his Medical Ninjutsu class, which was by far his favorite class when he had looked down at his schedule and noticed he had another starting just 10 minutes after. So, sprinting through the halls in search of his next class, Cyrus dipped down hallways, zigzagged up staircases, and stepped into and out of more wrong classes than he care to remember. Finally, he found Taijutsu Class F and with a pant and a wheeze, dragged himself into the classroom only to find he was the first one there. Are you serious? I'm early again? I don't even want to be here. Cyrus said with a scowl before walking over to one of the dummies and inspecting it with moderate disinterest. It was true, he really didn't care for anything other than the healing portions of school. Taijutsu was simply something he excelled at due to his knowledge of the human body, so he had signed up for it expecting an easy A.

Bishop slowly walked into the classroom taking a seat near the back as usual, he would look around for a moment before simply waiting for the other student's to arrive and class to start. Nothing new another class another day, at least for now bishop had put away his puppet she would not help much in a taijustu class.

Marcus would remove his legs from the desk while balancing perfectly on his tilted chair before righting it and slamming both his hands on the desk. Welcome to Taijutsu. I'm your Sensei. That is all you can call me. Now then tell me what do you expect to learn from his class is it how to defend yourself or is it simple to identify when another is adept in fighting in hand to hand combat. You there, you said you didn't want to be in this class right. So then why are you here. Marcus said as he pointed at Cyrus singling him out in front of everyone.

Cyrus sighed, Figures. As he could feel the eyes of everyone else in the room on him, not that it bothered him. As far as he was concerned, he'd probably never see most of these people again and that was more than ok for him. Well for starters, I've already developed my own fighting style along with a handful of techniques that go along with it. So le check for the taijutsu area. Secondly I'm a Tsuyo Style specialist of the Taki clan. If you don't know what that means, the Tsuyo branch specializes in buffing their own bodies to such a degree that we can...well...do this. With that, Cyrus proceeded to punch the dummy in front of him in the stomach. The dummy went flying, crashing into the wall and then through it, into the other classroom next door, where luckily class didn't seem to be in session. So while we're playing 20 questions, why'd you become an instructor? If you can't do, teach? Or you actually have some deep passion for guiding us youngins? If Cyrus was going to be put on the spot, he might as well dish it back out a little, all in good faith of course.

Marcus smirked at Cyrus's display before leaning back into his chair and he thought about why he ended up teaching. Too reckless. Danger to squad mates, will end up getting himself and others killed. Yeah I suppose those are the reasons, annoyed me a bit when I first found out but eh I suppose it's better this way. Besides children are the future right so if I teach you lot when you go out into the world you know exactly what not, to do. he said with a laugh. But back on topic, Fighting Styles make the core of any successful Taijutsu specialist, it sets up the pathways to create advanced techniques and a guide so that one does not deviate too far from it. For instance the Tsuyo style's body modifications can work to augment their own bodies while weakening others around them due to the medical focus of the Taki clan as a whole. This relegates them into a supportive role most of the time as they try to incorporate medical techniques in addition to retaining the Tsuyo style making them effective combat medics.

Bishop simply watched the two talk it out and what not, the display off power was nothing special brutes never won anything. The instructor seemed to be nothing special either but his looks could be wrong. "Fighting style" Bishop thought to himself, that was something he did not put much thought into, as off late taijustu was not really a main focus for him.

You. Tell me your name and why are you here. Marcus said pointing at Bishop his focus shifting from Cyrus onto a new student so that everyone was alert knowing that he could call on any one of them to participate in the class discussion, the reason he was doing this was to figure out where each of his students stood in terms of Taijutsu, so that he could cater to their needs as individually as possible as every student was different.

Supportive role my ass. Cyrus mumbled before finding a new training dummy and walking over to it. There weren't that many people in this class, apparently they had been the last one, which made sense considering how late Cyrus had signed up for classes. With Marcus's attention shifted to someone else, Cyrus let his thoughts wander freely, but made sure to be alert if the instructor decided to turn his attention once again. He had to admit, he kinda liked this guy. Straight shooter, up front with you kinda guy, Cyrus respected that.

Bishop straightened up as the teacher addressed him looking around for a moment before responding, I hope to gain a adept knowledge in taijustu so that I may use it mainly as a defensive, when faced against a wall Bishop said his tounge slithering out off his mouth as he crouched back down putting his head on his hands. He mainly wanted a counter taijustu style which revolved around evasion and counters.

Awh I hate students like you, don't see the epicness that is taijutsu. Eh whatever, your a ningyo right? Puppetry freaks no wonder, well nonetheless your going to want to learn some sort of judo, using momentum flipping your opponent away from you to leave them open to counter strikes by your puppets, not a head on sort of thing, get good enough to hold your own just in case but judo is rather good against those physical bruiser types. Marcus said with a sigh before thinking for a moment and smirking. Alright I suppose I have to teach now, First things first there are 7 Tiers which form the basis of physical combat, however only 6 of these are actually physical based while one is based off of solidified chakra. They are Speed, Strength, Endurance, Defense, Reaction, Barrier and Chakra. Does anyone know which of these tiers is the universal one which all shinobi can.

Cyrus smirked, Puppet freak. He muttered to himself, he was really starting to like this guy. That'd be speed. You want to hit first, be faster. You want to run away fast, be the first. Cyrus said, not trying to be THAT kid that has all the answers, but probably seeming like that to every one else. Whatever though, he could take these kids in hand to hand combat any day. That's what he figured anyway, cocky as always.

Exactly, you don't have speed, you'll die. It's not an opinion it is a fact, there are 5 main ways to obtain speed. The first is physical conditioning, or the most common example of the Speed Tier as it is the basis for it. The second being using Strength to propel yourself, reckless but effective Osoroshii Daku users are notorious for this as they can move just as fast as some of the Tenmetsu using nothing but brute strength, it is not as smooth of a movement and quite noisy but whatever gets the job done. The third is Reaction, not speed of movement but rather speed of reflexes combined with actual speed makes for some of the most dangerous combinations known to the shinobi world. Marcus said pulling out a kunai throwing it up before his hand blurred and it landed on the table with two thumps being sliced cleanly in half.

Iaido. The Fourth is through chakra expending it in large volumes to strengthen muscles to stimulate high speed not useful unless you have Nova level chakra reserves, and finally using ones life-force to press their body to it's true limits, most commonly used similarly to chakra paying blood to drastically augment one's physical might, dangerous even to those who could probably take it. he said with a sigh before going to the point of this lesson.

This brings me to the point of this whole class. Speed is essential, Fighting relies on it, and the other tiers build upon it or serve as a substitute for it. Because of this you all will be learning conditioning. Boring yeah, I hate it too, but without having the basics don't even expect to survive in the real world.

"Speed huh" Bishop absorbed all the information that the sensei said showing the main basis off this class. As he moved too talk about nova he cut something on the table bishop could tell by the slicing noise which traveled through the air. It seemed like it would just be a whole lot off pushups and situp bishop gave a small sigh.
